Hello and welcome to let me bore you to sleep. Yes, let me bore you to sleep. The recording it seemed to disappear off the face of the earth for three days or since Wednesday.

It's now Sunday, Sunday the 5th of June 2026. It is 11 minutes past 7am. I've got my windows closed and I've got the curtains drawn.

So hopefully, please, please, please, fingers crossed, there won't be too much noise from the garden, which there has been for the last few days, which has kind of stopped me from making the let me bore you to sleep recordings. And basically what's it's kind of stopped me making any recordings during the day. And you might be thinking, oh, but you, you have made other recordings.

Haven't you? And I said, well, I didn't say, did I say? Yeah, it's true. I did. I have.

And I'll tell you all about that in a minute. So this is let me bore you to sleep. My name's Jason Newland.

I promise. I won't spend it on any. I won't spend any of it on redecorating my new yacht.

See? And I kept to my word. I haven't gone anywhere near my new yacht. Apart from just a sunbathe and you know, show off to girls.

So the thing is, even if I did have a yacht, I don't think any women would even be interested in me then. I'd be standing on my yacht, and my vest is closed and people would walk past saying, why is that yacht empty? Why is there no one on that yacht? So yeah. Thank you for your PayPal gifts.

Basically, I've got a message from the bank. Where is it? Oh, my phone's plugged in charger. So I can't read it.

I got a message in a bank saying, you need to put money into your bank to cover this money going out by whatever date. But now by two o'clock. I think this is on Friday.

It's weird because I got paid Wednesday and literally, by the end of Thursday, everything was gone. Apart from like, I think 20 pounds or something. It's like just because it was the first of the months where I get my direct debits, like the bills and stuff.

So it just for my normal day to day stuff. But I didn't realize the podcasting for Spreaker that came through on Thursday the 3rd. And I didn't have enough money to cover it.

And I thought another 25 pound fine. And even more stuff came out as well. It's like, it's just, it's like nonstop, man.

But I think if I kind of need to get myself a little bit more organized. I tell you what, I've just been so busy making recordings. And I kind of hope that everything else sorts itself out if that makes any sense.

And so I don't want to sit here worrying about money and worrying about, you know, where the next if I've got enough to cover the cost of podcast hosting and all of you know, because it's quite expensive to run this free service. But I don't want to be worried about that. I just rather be I just hope that it all works out.

And that's kind of where I am with it. But it did, I got three free help got the help, which covered my Spreaker. So I didn't.

Because here's the thing, right? If I don't, if the money doesn't go out the speaker, they don't like hassle, a lot of places, they don't hassle you straight away. But they'll try and take it out two or three times. I don't have any money till Tuesday.

Now, if they try, like one or two times between that period, then they will just cancel my account. Now, I won't lose all my stuff. As far as I'm aware, I never have done before.

What I will lose is the cost that I'm paying. And the price of the podcast in for my my particular tariff has gone up since I've had it since I've been on it. So I could end up having to pay a lot more a month.

And it's just a little bit like with Netflix, you know, if you if you don't pay your Netflix, and it cuts out, and then you go to sign up again, realize it's gone up by like £5 a month. That's happened to me. Except in this case, it'd be more more than £5 a month.

But it's just lack of lack of organization really on my part. Or well, simply just not enough money coming in to cover everything. So yeah, I'm not even sure what expenses I had this month.

The last month, I mean, I've not been getting any takeaways. So I mean, I can't remember the last time I had a pizza about three weeks ago, I think. Yeah, I've not really had enough money to fill up the Ferrari.

You know, normally I like to go on a go for a spin on a Sunday morning on my Ferrari, but it costs about £300 to fill it up. So yeah, it's that's a problem. You know, you can have all these things like a Ferrari, a yacht, a mansion, you know, private jet, but if you got if you're cash poor, it's not much.

It's no good. By the way, if there's anyone out there listening to this that's rich, please help me out. I don't want it for me.

I do want it for me. But you know, there's got to be a rich person somewhere. Not everybody's there's got to be it's got to be someone that's really like a billionaire that's thinking, go on, go on.

But what I try to explain to them is that my podcasts aren't about ego. My podcasts are all about me. It's about me, not guests, me, no ego involved.

I don't need anyone else's ego. Actually, I have interviewed a couple of people over the years. Yeah, I did.

I did. What's his name? The hypnotist, whose name's gone out of mind. Is.

Yeah, it's gone out of my head. I also chatted to Sebastian years and years and years ago. I chatted to another, a lady, Jen, a few years back.

I couldn't tell you where any of those. Edini. Edini is the hypnotist that I chatted to for about an hour.

You know, my friend downstairs, he watched that on YouTube and he said, you seem, he said that I seemed aggressive. Like I was being quite forceful in my questioning. Like, no, I'm never aggressive in, you know, I wasn't like punching the screen or anything, but it's like, just no.

Weird, isn't it? How different people see things from their own perspective. This is someone that liked me. This is my friend saying this.

You seem so aggressive. You seem disrespectful. No.

The thing is with Edini, I think one of his things is he, he did the hypnosis. Which was popular. But his passion was the magic.

His passion was magic, not hypnosis. He, he just had a really good voice for hypnosis. He did.

But he put no, he didn't put any effort into making the quality of the videos good or even the sound good. Yet he had, he had a large audience and his videos were very popular. If he'd have, I mean, you know, I'm talking about if he was alive, but if back in them days, not that I really did any different, but if he'd have had a bit of help to get some really better video equipment and better audio equipment, I think he would have been the top of the pile of the hypnotists on YouTube.

Because he was already really popular and he was one of the first, as was I in 2007 on YouTube, but he was always way more popular than me. And he had the voice. And also his speaking voice was exactly the same as his hypnosis voice.

It didn't change. If that makes sense. I mean, I, I, I'm not a fast talker generally, except when I'm excited.

But I don't know why it's got a visual there of me talking really fast and being excited at the same time. But I slow things down when I do a hypnosis recording. I mean, for some people, this is probably quite slow talking now.

I don't know. But then I hear people talking really fast online and I just like, I can't, I can't watch it. It feels to me almost like it's been sped up two times or at least 1.5 times.

Sometimes when I listen to people and then and I saw this one person on TikTok and they were talking so fast and people actually in the comments posting, can you slow down? And she commented and she made a very, very valid comment. This is how I talk. I was like, yeah, actually, that's a fair point.

It's got nothing to do with anyone else. That's how she talks. Why should she slow down? Unless of course she wants to reach a larger audience maybe, but you know, why would she? But then I've also seen the same thing on TikTok where there's been an open forum, people talking and there's this man talking and someone else was talking over him saying, can you speed up? Which is also rude.

It's like, no, this is how he speaks. Can you speed up? It's almost on the verge of bullying, isn't it? You know, like a teacher having a go at a left-handed child saying, try it with your right hand, try writing with your right hand. It's like, it doesn't work like that.

You know, take your blinkers off, baby. People are different. He was talking very slowly though.

But then in a way, it almost seems like, well, don't ask someone to speed up or talk slower if they're talking in the same language as you. You know, if that's kind of their first language, but it's okay for someone to talk slower if they've got, they're from a different language or, you know, that seems to be more acceptable because it's helping the other person. People don't seem to want to help another person by slowing down if it's the same language.

If someone's born in England and they speak English, and it's, you know, two people, one speaks very quickly, tough, this is at my speed of talk. But I've experienced it where I've met people from other countries who were speaking English, and they do slow down because they realise they can't be understood. If they don't.

One example was Andre, my Irish friend. He had no choice. We did, but generally, you know, he, if he wanted to be able to communicate with the people around him, he had to slow down the speed that he spoke.

And to speak more, I say clearly, but clearly for clearly for me, or clearly for us to hear, to understand. It wouldn't have been unclear in Ireland where he lived. And I know that because I went and lived there.

And I had to slow down a bit. I think back then I'd spoke a bit quicker in the 90s than I do now. But then I'm a bit more thoughtful about what I'm saying.

It might sound weird to say that, considering some of the things that pop out of my mouth. But yeah, it's, I've noticed that with some African people that I've worked with and been friends with. It's another example is they slow down, because naturally, very quick talking.

And I'm starting to realize that if there's a sentence that's got seven words in English, but it's got 17 words in Spanish, or another language. If you've got a lot of words, you've almost kind of got to get it out quicker, I suppose. But then I've never learned another language.

So I've never been, I've never really been in that camp of moaning that people don't speak English, because I only speak English. And from my own perspective, I know how hard it is, well, to try and learn, because I was taught it, I was taught French at school, but couldn't really pick it up. Partly because I just didn't see the point.

You know, being a French lesson, and then I go into an English lesson. I'm like, well, why am I in an English lesson? Surely I must have perfected this language if I'm learning another one. This is going to get confusing.

Comprende? So I know what familiar means though. Familiar comes from, means family. So we use the word familiar.

That sounds familiar. That sounds family. Doesn't make sense, does it? See, I picked that up.

Oh, I watched, what's the Mexican gang cartel, all that stuff. I watched both of those shows on Netflix, I think. And because it was kind of a mix between American and subtitles Spanish, or subtitles Mexican, or wherever.

I couldn't help but pick up some of the words. Only the American ones, but still, I kind of felt like I knew a new language. You know, it's like, I remember after I was watching it, and I was taking Vinny for a walk, and I was saying, hey, stay on the sidewalk.

It's like, I'm in the pavement. Blimey. I remember like, oh, damn, I need some batteries for my flashlight.

I mean my torch. See, I just got so confused about what I was saying. Yesterday, all my troubles seem so far away.

So noisy outside. It was ridiculous. It was ridiculous.

Okay. Yesterday was the 4th of June, which is the 250 years since America broke away from Britain. So happy holidays.

I think you get holiday for that, don't you? If you're in America. We don't have such a thing. And I remember Independence Day, because it's not always on a Sunday or Saturday, is it? Because it's the same date every year.

The first time I knew about Independence Day was when I was eight years old. I'd have been eight, or just coming up to eight. And went to the park like I did with my friends.

My best friend called Wow, I've forgotten his name. This is terrible. I had Andrew that lived a couple of doors up.

Ian. So Ian, me and him. I think our dates of birth were the same.

So he had blonde hair. And his dad was parents were brilliant. And we were best friends.

We lived in the same road, went to the same school. It just literally just round the corner about 30 minutes, 30 minutes, 30 seconds walk. Or three hours depending on how fast I walked, because I used to walk very slow sometimes.

I still do. And we went to the park, we should just literally if you come at me house, it was my nanny granddad's house after hours. Now it's I don't know whose house it is.

So come out, turn left, walk around, staying on the sidewalk, I'm in the pavement. And then, I mean, let's say he's already knocked on my door to pick me up, not to pick me up, literally. They probably could do I mean, we're about the same size.

But we walked around and then probably went through the alleyway, which was just a couple of doors past his house. Which led to the back of his house, the back garden. And then walked through there, which then led to another part of the estate, which then led to the park.

It's very close. And then would get on, you have to sort of go around, there's a couple of entrances to the park 123. But you get through, you know, through little clearings and stuff as well.

So we're in the park, we're just walking up and you see this gaggle gaggle, we see this bunch of people right near one of the entrances the other side of the park. Now, it's quite a big park. I mean, everything's quite big at that age, but it's ants weren't big, were they? But it was quite big.

I think it was quite I think it was definitely big enough for before it was about a football to play a football game. It was definitely big enough for that because I used to have I think Sunday season football or whatever. And rugby as well.

So we see this thing is we smoke coming up. I'm like, cool. Do you see that smoke? He said, Of course I did.

My eyes are fine. I'm only seven. I don't know, I've probably got 20 20 vision.

I said, All right. Blimey. And I said, smell something.

Can you smell that? He said, Yeah, most of my senses work pretty good. And I know I'm limping a bit because I fell out of a tree. But the rest of us were working fine.

Thank you. He must have been in the mood about something. I don't know.

Maybe it's because I pushed him out of a tree. I didn't know that was coming. So we walk over and it's got this the smell is getting better.

I'm quite pleased that little bit I just did there. That was quite funny, wasn't it? And so walking towards the the thing because we didn't we didn't have any cars at that time to seven. We walked over the field.

And it was music being played. There was probably it wasn't like a lot of people, but there's probably a good 25 30 people there. All gathered around and there was burgers being cooked.

There was music being played. It was balloons. It was a really nice day.

Because often is this time of the year. And because it's summer and summer often produces nice days, doesn't it? It's kind of what it's known for really, isn't it? I'd say summer. It's known for sort of sun.

I don't know why they don't call it sunner. But maybe that's what it stands. Maybe that's what summer means.

Sunner is a time when there's sun. I don't know. I mean, if only Charles Pierre, Shakespeare, whatever was alive, we could ask him, couldn't we? Because he kept making up words, didn't he? Bless him.

Oh, it's relevant because he did it. But we're not allowed to, are we? We can't just make up our own words. No, but he could because he's special.

It's Shakespeare. I think sometimes I've had these kind of verbal discussions in the past with people and they'll say something like, they'll correct me. And I said, I can't think of an example right now, but like, would you realize you understood what I meant though, didn't you? He said, yes.

And I said, well, I knew you understood what I meant because in order to correct me, you had to have understood what I meant. So therefore, you understood what I meant, which is pretty much the basis of communication. So there was no reason to correct me, was there? At that point, he'd driven off, he'd driven off.

You're like, you're just like, bus drivers can be very rude sometimes. And so I'm walking towards this thing. I still didn't know what it was.

I can see balloons. I can smell burgers. And to be fair, if I can smell burgers, I'm walking into that direction, generally.

Free food. And I didn't know what it was. There was a big flag.

Now, I didn't realize at the time how disrespectful that was to my country. To be, to be celebrating. It's like, it's almost like me going to Germany and setting up a big display in the street.

You have a street party for the end of the war, you know, for beating the Germany and stuff like that. That would, well, I'd probably get arrested, if not worse, for doing something like that. But it's okay.

Because it's so long ago, it can't almost doesn't matter, does it? But I was happy for the free food. I didn't know anything. I didn't know anything about Independence Day.

I didn't really know anything about the wars or anything at that point. I hadn't been filled with all the joys of history. All the, all the positivity of the past.

I was more concerned with, you know, probably what is going to happen in Charlie's Angels or the Bionic Man. Looking forward to, I think this is a Saturday, so I was probably looking forward to more commindi in the late afternoon. It was a fairly good day, actually.

I think I'd done an early morning poo. And I liked that because it meant that I felt kind of, I was done for the day, you know, I was okay. Because I used to get annoyed having to like walk all the way home, even though it wasn't far.

If I was around my friends, I'd do it there, you know. But I prefer to have it done. And once it's done, it's just like, okay, I can get on with the day and just relax a bit, you know.

Not, I was a little bit of a worrier when I was a kid. I was, still am to be honest. So that's why I have to work so hard at relaxing and, you know, being calm and that.

But yeah, I was, I don't think it was, I was, I was born with a worrying brain, but I think I was, I had it installed into me at a very, very young age. So I'm walking towards this smell. And there's all these really happy people laughing, joking around.

And they all sound very weird. They're not weird, but they sound strange. And I was trying to think, what is that sound they're making? And I realize it's that sound I hear in a, on a TV shows.

American. Because there were lots and lots of American TV shows on in the late 70s, early 80s. I mean, it was, it was predominantly American TV shows.

I love them all. I love them. And early 80s, talking about, you know, Dallas, Dynasty, A-Team, Knight Rider.

Blimey, Magnum. There's too many to remember. Well, just too many for me to remember.

But late 70s, you had, ooh, the Bionic Man, Mork & Mindy, the Charlie's Angels. The Bionic Woman, Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman. I really liked Wonder Woman.

It was the only TV show that I watched at age seven that I saw again when I was in my 20s. And I liked it even more. It's weird.

Honestly, I went to, when I went to Ireland, they had Sky. Not a Sky. Everyone's got a Sky.

No, Sky TV. And I'd literally come from having four channels, four TV channels. That's all we had.

I didn't have Sky, didn't have satellite or anything. So I had four TV channels all the way up to 2007 when Channel 5 came along. Now there's hundreds of different channels.

But mainly the internet, but you know, it's loads of free, free view things. In 2004, when I went to Ireland, we had four channels. I went to Ireland, they had loads of channels.

And the main one we watched, me and Andre, was Sky 1. And they showed The Simpsons, Simpsons, Simpsons, The Simpsons every day, about six. But I think before that, when you have 5.30, I'm making this partly up time wise. Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman.

I was able to talk until just now and something went wrong. I think because I mentioned Wonder Woman, my mouth's just gone strange. Not just my mouth.

So I watched Wonder Woman at about 5.30, then we watched The Simpsons. Then we watched Star Trek, The Next Generation. So all of these shows, I could watch on normal TV, like Simpsons was on Channel 4, I think.

The Star Trek Next Generation was on TV, normal TV. And Wonder Woman, I don't remember it being on TV, normal TV, since the late 70s. It's just one of those shows that doesn't seem to get shown, for some reason.

But then there's so many shows, isn't there? I'm trying to think what other, The Fall Guy, that's another one from the early 80s, isn't it? Love The Fall Guy. What other ones from the late, the early 80s did I used to love to watch from America? There must be more than that. I've done The A-Team.

We had a lot of English TV shows as well, like game shows and Game for a Laugh used to be on, I used to love that. Beatles About, that was good. We had Cilla Black, see she used to do Surprise, Surprise, that one.

And she also did Blind Date as well. So we used to watch that as a family. Used to watch, what's his name, Noel Edmonds and his early Saturday evening show.

He had a few, but this was the one in the early 80s, we used to watch that. That got taken off the air for a while, but then he came back with a different show. Noel Edmonds is a weird one, right? Bearing in mind, not in a bad way, bearing in mind, I won't have anything bad said about Noel, Noelly.

He just doesn't seem to have aged. I mean, yeah, he looks older now than he did in 1977, but he's still got the same face. Like, yeah, why wouldn't he have the same face? I don't look the same as I did when I was 20.

You look at a picture of me when I was in my 20s and you wouldn't know it was me. Seriously, I don't look the same. I don't look the same as I did when I was in my 30s.

I probably look the same as I did 10 years ago with a few more wrinkles and stuff, but a slightly more grey hair, just slightly, only a tiny little bit more. Wow. I'm a little bit annoyed with YouTube at the moment because a video came on and it was like, this is my last video.

That's what the title was. So I looked onto it because you used to get a lot of those videos where people would like pretend to quit their YouTube video. And, or I think it was I'm quitting.

But then they weren't quitting. They were just quitting what they were doing, but they're going to continue to YouTube. Another video came up saying this is my last video.

So I went onto that one. But that was their last video. Thanks, Vinnie.

And because they were unwell and like, okay, how the hell did I, how did this happen that I come across a video like this? Why is YouTube suggested a video like this? And I did get a little bit involved in watching it and it's very emotional and like, I don't want to see that. I don't really want to see videos like that. Every day now for about a week, I keep getting new videos.

All that I've got millions of views. Basically the last video of YouTubers that they posted. It's like, come on.

I don't come on YouTube to be bummed out. You know, come on, just, just chill out. I would just give me some nice, happy stuff.

Blimey. Has anyone seen the, what was this? Oh, I watched a Louis CK latest video, a standup video on Netflix. It's really good.

I think he's just, he's one of my favorite comedians. He's just, just really funny. Oh, I forget the name that I was trying to think.

Oh, nevermind. But the people are in the garden now, so hopefully it won't be too noisy. But if it does get like super, super, super noisy, I'm going to have to end the recording.

I mean, it is seven minutes to eight. So I mean, literally yesterday morning at five, there was some, there's two people out there having a full blown conversation and talk shouting, you know. Now for me, I was awake, but I was making a recording.

I was trying to make a recording, hypnosis recording, and I had to stop because it was so noisy. So yeah, so that brings me to what I was going to say, because I, you know, I haven't done a let me bore you to sleep since Wednesday and I didn't do a Q&A Friday either. Well, the Q&A Friday, I did post it.

I did post a like a request for questions, but I didn't get any questions. So I didn't do a Q&A Friday. But then I think the questions probably got lost with all the new recordings that I've been doing.

So it's kind of, it's a difficult one to try and figure out, to be honest. But five o'clock yesterday morning and my, my concern is for other people. You know, 20 years ago, I'd be shouting out there.

I would be shouting in the wind, I'd be shouting out the window. I would not be making any new friends. But I'm older.

I don't know about wiser, but I'm older. I'm older and fatter. So this week, what I've done, well, this last week, I've made quite a few recordings.

And if you go back to, blimey, when was when was last Sunday, 29th, 28th. It's the 28th of June. Oh, it's July now, isn't it? Blimey.

July 5th, June 5th, July 5th, July 4th. So July 4th, June 4th, July 4th of July. So yeah, it's the 5th of July.

I'm sure I said it was June earlier. So since last week, I've done 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 recordings. But out of that, I've done three, let me boy to sleep recordings.

I did, Monday, I did one, Tuesday, I did one, Wednesday, I did one. But the hypnosis recordings are, let's have a look. Ooh, so it is overthinking everything.

So that's the breaking free from control and manipulation. Self forgiveness, healing from the inside. Doubting your own memories.

That was the breaking free one. Healing loneliness, healing from the inside. Feeling responsible for everyone, that was for breaking free.

Rebuilding confidence, healing from the inside. The fear of conflict, breaking free. Letting go of regret, healing.

Emotional blackmail, breaking free. Feeling safe again, healing. So, and I've also done two more recordings this morning.

Now you might be thinking, but you said you started this recording at seven, how can you've done two recordings in the morning already? Well, I've been going to bed earlier and waking up earlier. So I've not been setting my alarm or anything, but I've been waking up between two and three in the morning. But I've been going to bed a lot earlier now.

So what I do is, I mean, I thought I was safe to make a recording, a hypnosis recording at five in the morning until yesterday. Now I realize it's not safe to do it at this time of the day. I mean, the dog's not been barking.

It's really a case of either the dog is barking, the woman's shouting, the kid's screaming, or there's loud conversations going on with visitors. So it's kind of, there are quiet times as well, but it does affect what I'm trying to do the recording. But at the same time, it's hot outside and I want to be able to open the window and let some air in, but it's hard because of all the noise.

But there's not really anything I can do about it. So, you know, everything comes to an end eventually, doesn't it? So what I've decided to do is I'm going to make my hypnosis recordings early hours when the, that, it's amazing, everything comes from just one flat. The whole of this state, my bit of this state is all quiet.

Just one person attracts all the sound. It's amazing, isn't it? I mean, I'm so glad that the whole estate's not like that because it would literally be, you'd have to have earplugs. It would be chaos.

But yeah, it is what it is. I'm sure, you know, it is, I don't like things that affect me, affect this, what I do here. And with the Let Me Boy To Sleep, I can have a little bit of background sound.

I've got Vinny crunching away and flapping his ears and scratching and a little bit of background sound, you know, maybe a car going past or helicopter and stuff. But screaming, not so much. Barking, not so much.

So I'll try and edit that stuff out. But generally, it's, I can do that during the day, but it's been way too noisy the last few days to even make a Let Me Boy To Sleep during the day. It's been really full on noisy.

And it's kind of, I was thinking maybe I'll try and do the Let Me Boy To Sleep in the morning as well. So I did the two recordings quite a few hours ago. And then I had my breakfast.

Then I watched the boxing because it was live boxing on about 4.30, I think. 5.00, 4.30, 5.00, something like that. So I was watching that in America.

I wasn't in America. I was watching it. It was, the boxing was in America.

I didn't, you know, travel to America. I don't know why I said that. That's a bit of a silly thing to say, isn't it? And it was a bit boring to be honest with you.

It was, I struggled to keep awake. And then when that was over, I turned on one of my recordings, which was an hour, hour and a half. Yeah, it was feeling, no, hour and 13 minutes, feeling safe again.

Which I did yesterday. And I listened to that. And I fell off to sleep and was very relaxed.

And then I woke up and I came and started doing this. So I had a little break, a little rest. And when I finished here, I will take DaVinster out for a WALK.

And then I'll start to edit these recordings and upload them and everything. I mean, to be fair, when I make a recording in the morning, I am not first thing, but if I did the Let Me Boyd Asleep at 2.30 or 3.00 in the morning, I would fall asleep. Because I would struggle to, because I'd be, I'd be waffling complete nonsense.

I'm like, you know, now, because I've had a little bit of rest and stuff. And I seem to be, because I've had my sleep, I'm a bit more, put a bit more alert, a little bit more aware. My brain is working a bit more than it would be by the end of the day.

Yeah, I think. So I think what I really need to do is soundproof that window. That's what I need to do.

Instead of just like moaning, like an old fart, I just need to soundproof the window or have soundproofing put on, you know, in front of the window when I'm making a recording. I mean, it'd be nice to block out the sound all the time. But at the same time, I don't want to block out the air and the light all the time.

Because otherwise, there's no point having a window, is there? And I wouldn't want to be sitting here in a room with no window. It's quite a nice window as well. It's quite big.

Oh, guess what? The kitchen people are coming around to measure up my kitchen, and for me to choose whatever, you know, design I want. And then in a month's time or so they're going to come around and start in the kitchen. So I've got a new kitchen coming.

But it means the kitchen will be out of action for about two or three weeks. Oh, not so good. Oh.

But it's not bad, is it? And they're coming, I don't know when, but they're coming to change all the radiators as well. So the only thing I need now is a new, a new bathroom. And really what I do need is like a washroom because I can't get into the bath anymore.

It's so hard. I can't get my leg over because of my back. So I can't get into a bath.

I've got a shower. When I moved in, there was a shower attached. But it's getting my leg over.

Oh dear. That's the term we use in this country. We used to use getting your leg over meant it was like a romantic gesture.

Did you see if you went out on a date and your friend said, did you get your leg over? And you said, Oh, yeah. What it basically what it meant is, did you, did you, you know, treat your date with kindness and consideration, and have a really good time and really connected with them emotionally. So that's what getting your leg over meant back then.

So I've been making the recordings early hours, and then uploading them, while editing and uploading, spending most of the day doing that actually, because it is quite time consuming, very time consuming to do it. And I'm glad I'm, I'm pretty pleased with the way it's going the podcast, the break and free from control, etc. That is, I've now got regular visits to that podcast itself, which is nice.

It's always growing nice and slowly. And yeah, I've now got 226 total downloads, 234 listenable episodes, divide that by six, whatever that is. And I've had 226 total downloads so far.

And it's been probably about five weeks since I started the podcast. So a couple of days of 2119 yesterday or day before was 16. Yesterday was five, today's five so far.

So it's just yeah, it's nice, very slow, but it's, I know people listening on the other podcast anyway. Then you've got my healing from the inside. And I'm starting to, well I've had four, four, four total downloads, 78 listenable episodes divided by six.

I don't know how many that is. I think it's about what's, how many sixes do you get into 78? 11, 12, 12, 12, six, six, 10 60s are 60, 11 60s are 66, 12 60s are 72. So 13 60s are 78.

Okay. So I've done 13 recordings. With the break it free from control and manipulation, 234.

So six times by 10 is 60, 120, 240. So yeah, I've had 224. So basically 39.

I might be wrong, but it looks like it's 39 recordings I've done now for the breaking free from control and manipulation. 39. That's quite a lot.

The most popular one out of all of them is Thera being alone, breaking free from control and manipulation. And second one is safe relationships feel different. Let's go to last 12 months.

That's not very good. How can that be right? Last 30 days, 19,641. That's not much, is it? Last seven days, 4,322.

But if I go to all time, the all stats for all our podcasts, 38,009 total downloads for the last 30 days. The last seven days, 7,976. That's on Spreaker.

Last month, 36,304. Last 12 months, 311,012. That's without the SoundCloud, which is another, I don't know.

On average SoundCloud. What do I get on average there? We don't care. We want to know what happened in the park and the burgers.

This was Let Me Boys Sleep, 23rd of December, 2023, 8,035 plays. I wonder why, why was I getting so many plays for those ones? And the third one was Let Me Boys Sleep, number 1,127, which was a long time ago. Long, long, long, long time ago.

20th of May, 2024, and I had 3,812 plays. So this is on the hypnosis for sleeping deeply on the SoundCloud podcast. I can't believe some of the numbers for these.

Some of them, I mean, I've got no idea why. Mind you, mind you, there was a time when I swapped over to SoundCloud instead of Spreaker. So I used SoundCloud as my main podcast host.

Ah, that would explain why 2024 was so busy. That's strange though, because that's a lot. Unless 2024 was just a really busy year.

Going grey is not always funny. Hmm, that's true. I've got some of my hypnosis recordings up.

It's just a boxing marathon. 18th of May, 2024, 2,163. I don't know why I'm surprised, because I don't, I mean, to be fair, I don't look back at any of the recordings I did years ago.

If that makes any sense, I don't go back. I mean, on my Spreaker hypnosis for sleeping deeply, I've got 4,185 episodes. Divide that by six.

It's still quite a few, isn't it? It's about 700, 800 recordings. 700, I don't know. But I can't, you know, if I go back all the way to the beginning, I have to do a lot of fingering to get there, you know, a lot of flicking.

And I read somewhere that the tongue never gets tired. It's one of those things, isn't it? You know, like, you get these sayings, and you know, it's untrue. But you can't prove it.

Of course the tongue gets tired. No, tongue can't get tired. It's not built that way.

It doesn't get tired. And it can, you know, it can keep going. It doesn't ever get tired.

It's not true, is it? Not true. Right, I'm trying to go back. But this is only going, see, I've been flicking this whole time.

So, I've been fingering the screen. And literally, I'm still in February this year. You see what I mean? I don't think, as far as I'm aware, on my Apple and the different podcast apps, they only kind of list the last 250 anyway, the last 250 recordings.

So, anything I did in the past, which, let's face it, to get to 250 doesn't take long, does it? There's six versions of each recording. 10 is 60. 20 is 120, 240.

So, literally, if I do 40, 50 recordings, that's taken me to 300. Or, you know, over 250 anyway. You know what I mean? Right, it's literally going to take me forever to get this to go down here.

So, I'm in the park, and I'm walking down. And honestly, like, the burgers smell so amazing, but they weren't ready yet. They weren't ready yet.

And I saw this other thing, and I never smelled, it's like, I never smelled it before. And it wasn't a giraffe's fart. It was a melon.

Melon, lemon, melon. Yeah, melon. I've never had a melon before.

And because back in them days, we didn't really have exotic fruits, maybe in tins and stuff, but I've never had like a fresh melon. I might have had them in like tins of fruit and stuff. And I was given a slice.

And I mean, the melon itself was bigger than my head. And the slice was huge. But I was like biting into it.

It was getting all over my face. Juice was everywhere. It was so nice.

So nice. I was like, oh, so it's the first time I'd had melon. And it was quite nice to actually eventually eat a fruit that you could just eat.

Didn't need no sweeteners. Like, okay, apples. I like a ripe apple, but it's not sweet, really.

Grapes are not, I don't find grapes to be particularly sweet. Bananas, you have to pick them at the right time to be nice, you know, because if they're not ripe, they don't taste nice. If they're too ripe, or they're overripe, they can just be all squashy.

So strawberries, I've always found needed sugar. We had not a prune tree. What's that really horrible, horrible fruit? Oh, not prunes.

There might be prunes. I'm trying to think of the different trees you got. You got pear trees, apple trees.

Do you have prune trees? Plum. Oh my goodness, plums. Oh my, oh, horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible.

Didn't like them. So we had a plum tree in our garden when I was a kid, which attracted wasps. Oh great.

Now, my step mum used to make crumble like, or pies with plums in them. But she always put just the right amount of sugar so that they were beautiful. So she turned something horrible into something lovely.

But I know some people just bite right into them. Like, no, sorry. Maybe back in the old days when I was a caveman, I'd have liked that, but not anymore.

I always had a little bit of a sweet tooth. That's back, that's when I had teeth. It's a love, anything sweet, I quite liked.

Not anything sweet, but I did quite like sweet stuff. Although, hmm, a nice crumble. I've had crumble for years, years and years and years.

Because that was, isn't it like granulated sugar and stuff on top instead of a, it's like a pie, but instead it's got crumble. But does, does a crumble have any pastry in the bottom? I like pastry in the bottom. In fact, the pie, probably my favourite bit of the pie is the pastry.

Yeah, I said it, I'm sorry. I just, I've been keeping that in for years. I just wanted to let someone know.

So, yeah, I had my first melon and I said, what are you celebrating? Why is there a non-English flag up there? Take it down immediately. I was seven, of course I didn't say that. And they said, I said, can I have a burger? I want a burger.

And I was saying it was Independence Day, American Independence Day. I said, but we're not in America. He said, I know, because there was a American base near where I lived.

So there was a lot of American soldiers that lived in that area. And I think it's Lake and Heath, it's called. Anyway, they, I was kind of queer a bit, like, well, why, why are you celebrating, why are you celebrating? He said, well, it's because we became free from your country.

And I said, but why are you celebrating it in my country then? At this point, I was thinking to myself, wow, I own the country. Because I didn't, I didn't know. And you might think that's a silly thing to think.

Well, do you think that Prince William grew up knowing that he was going to be king one day? He didn't grow up knowing that. That must have been a conversation. And he was told, sat down, by the way, you're going to be the king one day.

At some point, you know, during your lifetime, probably before the age of 50, you're going to be the king. Well, we don't have a date or an age, but it'll be like a king. You know, if you say it to like a 10, 12, 15 year old, they might grasp it.

But if you say it to like a little kid, I'm going to be king. Like might not know what it means. So I was the same kind of thing.

I didn't really understand when they said your country. I thought they, they meant that this was my country and I was in charge. And so I said to them, I'd like some more melon, but this time I'd like you to hold it.

And ideally, if you can just cut a few bits off for me, please put them in a napkin and I'll have a burger. I'll have it extra well done though. I'd like one that hasn't been visited by a fly.

Flies get everywhere at the moment. So I'm going back. I've only got back as far as January 2025 on here.

It's still a distance, but the thing is, as soon as I, as soon as I actually click on it to see how many damas I've had, I'll have to start all over again. So I've got a happy Christmas 2024. That was number 1,258 on the let me boy to sleep.

2016 hypnosis for election and election anxiety. We must have been having an election going on. Yeah, always got my pulse on the finger.

This is 8.31. Is anyone following the soccer? In America. The football. I watched the end of the last one.

Oh, right. I've gone back as far as it goes. So this is another one of those podcasts where they must have said, Oh, I think this is when they said you can't have any music anymore.

You got copyrighted music. So I had to delete everything or no, they got rid of, they deleted, Spreaker deleted my podcast, I think. And I had to start a new one up in October, 2024 and start all over again.

And the let me boy to sleep. Was this is weird. How can this have been published October the 8th, 2024? Okay.

So the first one I put from the 29th of July. And I uploaded that. See, yeah, it's there's a lot missing from there.

So basically, Spreaker, it was a Spotify thing. Spotify said they didn't. They didn't want stuff, even though I was using copyright free music, music that was allowed to use.

They they didn't allow it. Which is ironic, because Spotify, I hardly have any Spotify listeners. Most of my listeners from the Spreaker podcast come from Apple, Apple podcasts and other ones.

So they deleted that podcast and had to start over again, remaking podcasts with music that's Spreaker allowed. See, yeah, there's been a few setbacks over the years. I remember it was going really well.

And then I had to stop it because I was playing long bits of music and that wasn't allowed. So again, I lost some podcasts then. That was about 2003, I think.

2002, 2003. Crazy it is. But so I look at the very first one that I posted, see what the stats on that one is.

43. So yeah, if I go back, it takes me to the top of the queue again. So it'd take me another hour to get down.

Oh, well. Very strange. But yes, I have my first melon, my first bit of melon.

It was oh, so juicy. So very, very, very juicy. So very messy.

I remember my hands got sticky and I was rubbing them on the grass trying to get them unsticky. And then I was picking up a burger and I'm like, oh, but I've been rubbing my hands on the grass. But it all worked out okay.

I can't remember what the burger was like. I don't remember. Probably was fine.

That's it. That's my entire memory of that. I just remember it.

Yeah, it's the only real thing that I remember about that. Just I didn't know about Independence Day. I mean, we've got our own kind of celebratory days.

We don't get days off of them, but like the end of the World Wars and D-Day, E-Day, W-Day, V-Day, you know, all kinds of different days, marking different things that happened. I can't keep track of them, to be honest. I think the King or the Queen had two birthdays a year.

There's your Trafalgar Day as well. You got, yeah, quite a few different things. Armistice Day.

I don't know what that means. So there's a lot of different days throughout the year where the forces and the cadets and stuff would all come along. I used to go when I was in the Sea Cadets to all of them, I think, at least locally.

So, yeah, that is it, I do believe, I do believe that is it, my friend. So this coming week, I don't know, I've got a few things booked now. So I've got to, I've got an appointment with the nurse for my arthritis.

I've got, I got an appointment with the mental health nurse for my mental health. I think that's like my yearly checkup. I don't know when that one is.

I couldn't get them on the same day. And then I've got the people come around for the kitchen. So I need to write this stuff down.

Well, I've written it down, but I need to put it somewhere to so I can see it because I don't remember the dates when any of this stuff is happening. And I want to make sure that I'm in, you know. Oh, dear, dear.
