Hello, hello and welcome to let me bore you to sleep. My name's Jason Newland and please don't and please don't and please only listen when you can safely close your eyes. Because that's a really difficult thing for me to remember you see because you know it's only about the 14,000th time that I've said it.

Vinny is giving himself a nice little wash. Good boy Vinny doing that while I'm making a recording. I was going to make a healing from the inside recording and I closed the windows which isn't great in this heat but closed the windows, closed the curtains trying to cut out the sound from the background and then I realized Vinny was in the room with me and the only way I can do a hypnosis recording is if I put him into the bedroom and I don't really want to, I want to stay with him.

It might sound a bit soppy but I think I'll just have him here so I'll do a let me bore you to sleep instead. It's not instead it's as well as in a sense but normally I do the hypnosis recordings quite early in the morning but today I had a bit of a well today because it's Sunday the 21st of June 2026 it's now actually five o'clock in the evening afternoon. I woke up quite early because I wanted to watch the boxing which was in America so I was up early hours watching a boxing and then I had my breakfast then I went back to bed then I got up and I made the latest recording in my breaking free from control and manipulation 32 recordings now I've done.

I know I know I mean so far with the healing from the inside I've done one two three four five six so yeah I've done six of those already. I feel it's time to do a new podcast I'm you know I like beginning things I like starting things and I don't mind continuing things but I do like the beginning phrase phrase phase the beginning the excitement of oh just the juiciness of I wonder where this is going to lead never leads anywhere but you know just you never know so I need to make an apology to sub people oh blimey not not for yawning this heat has got me tired very tired more than normal so I think it was Thursday let me have a look Wednesday or Thursday so was it Sunday Saturday Friday no Friday Friday there was a goof up with my podcasts and only on Friday no days before and no days since but for a period of quite a few hours I think my podcasts were playing adverts not just the beginning but also during not all not all episodes not not everyone that listened would have heard the adverts because they don't play them every time anyway and otherwise I'd have had I mean on Friday is it Friday that's weird and it's the 19th yeah Friday the 19th so on Friday I had 1923 downloads or streams whatever you want to call it on my podcasts but I also out of that I had adverts during the podcasts now they shouldn't have done that it was an error I've been I've been I've been playing around with some of the uh the the podcasts just just doodling whittling piddling whatever not realizing that I'd done that now under no circumstances would I ever have adverts playing in the middle of one of these recordings because they're for sleep it defeats the object it's pointless I mean it'd be brilliant if I could because I'd be able to earn a living doing this but my podcasts aren't like that if it was like a a chat show or it was just like a normal podcast I'm talking and then people listen while they're awake and then an advert comes on and if I'm talking for an hour and a half maybe you'll hear four or five adverts there might be five six advert breaks during that time which you'd get in a radio show or whatever but these recordings aren't like that are they so if they were I would be doing really well but they're not so I'm not if that makes sense if I was kind of surprised at how many adverts played during the day and okay I'm apologizing because I genuinely that was not supposed to happen and and hopefully it won't ever happen again but it was an error it's error on what I thought I'd done something to prevent that from happening and it happened anyway so yeah it was just my lack of I don't know because a lot happened while I was I didn't know it's happening because I didn't check if that makes sense I didn't realize it was happening otherwise I'd have nipped it in the buds straight away but by the time I realized it was happening I suddenly had these stats coming through saying that people had that there'd been adverts played so I deleted them all straight away all the adverts made sure that none of the podcasts played adverts at any point during the podcasts man honest I couldn't believe that I was so disappointed in myself and my worry was that people would have come come across me my podcast for the first time and will never return because they're like we just had like a hundred adverts just played and that's not how I've ever done done what I do I mean it's happened a few times over like 20 years where the settings have been wrong or YouTube have played adverts on my videos in the past when I didn't even have adverts set it up I didn't even I wasn't even monetized and YouTube have played adverts on my videos and they don't at the moment in fact because I I am monetized but I'm not if that makes sense so I'm monetized but I've got it all turned off so that adverts don't play on my videos and the reason I'm monetized is so that I can have control over whether or not they play adverts because once you get a thousand subscribers you can apply for monetization so I am monetized but I'm not because there's no adverts played on my YouTube channel and even if there was I'd be earning like pennies I mean literally it'd be really wouldn't be worth it at all although years ago and I'm talking about years ago and I was getting before I deleted the YouTube channel that I have that I had back then I was getting it was £180 a month from YouTube and that was for 45,000 video views that was the final month before I deleted everything and it was growing bit by bit you know it's like £10 then £50 and £20 you know over the years oh YouTube's gone slow today oh well oh well never mind eh I did quite a good recording yesterday you might not have realized it I have to tell people when stuff's good you see because I don't know if you listen you won't know but I can I can affirm confirm and affirm that it is a really good recording and it's called sleep or your money back five hour um whatever boring recording and what I've done and it took me hours and hours and hours to do this really took ages it shouldn't have took ages I really thought it was going to be a quick thing da da da da but no it took ages and ages and ages so I went to my sleep hypnosis podcast which I've got 511 episodes but that it does include the six versions of each and I went down to the very first recording that I uploaded onto there because these are like the more up-to-date best quality sound sleep hypnosis recordings that I've done that's why I got kind of a started a new podcast just so that everything on there is fairly good quality auditarily and yeah this was the it was January 2006 6th of January this year that I built that podcast so what I did is I got the first 10 episodes and only sleep hypnosis because I also upload the anything on there to do with hypnosis including the you know the whatsits that I've been doing recently as well the control and manipulation ones so I've downloaded the first 10 I did this all on the iPad and then I started editing them to make one recording and you might think well that's easy enough that's what I thought but no it wasn't because first of all I did episode one and episode two together so I had to copy episode two go into episode one add episode two at the end and then mark them where to start and where the middle is and everything I did the same for episode two and three episode three and four episode five and six episode seven and eight and then nine and ten then I did the same for episode one and two and two three and four so put those together then five and six and seven and eight together then I put one to six and then seven no one to four and then five to six no one to four five to eight I sometimes I kind of mock myself and say that my mathematics ability is about the age of 10 but I'm wondering whether or not I'm being generous I mean we're talking about like one to ten counting I should be able to do that and it's not just in my head I'm doing it out loud so I'm kind of I've got a big piece of paper and I'm using a calculator and I still can't work it out so I ended up with one to eight and then I added eight to ten no nine to ten on the end to make ten then I went back in and I had to try and even out the sound because they were all different volumes I don't know quite how that worked and I try and do everything at the same volume now although the let me boy to sleeps are louder because I'm talking into the microphone I'm not talking like that as you focus on your toenails sticking out of your ears as your knees turn into little monkeys you know the kind of stuff that I say during the hypnosis sessions and it's a different volume it's a different speed and whatever I used to try and do that with the let me boy you to sleep recordings and although I don't mean I guess it's sometimes I'll talk quicker than others but with the hypnosis ones it's it's pretty much quite slow right at the beginning right away through and depending on what kind of recording I'm doing I think it generally gets slower as I get through to the last bit and a bit quieter as well so once I kind of got the volumes roughly at the correct the correct sort of place I then had to go and edit out the beginnings of each recording and the ends of each recording so I kept I edited the beginning of the very first recording just so it was sort of hello welcome to this recording please only listen when you can safely close your eyes and and then in just getting rid of a lot of the guff you know and then the guff you know my podcasts are available on my youtube channel you really should try it out it's wonderful I wonder where else my podcasts are oh they're on my website as well www.

jasonnewland. com where else oh instagram um tiktok and x oh don't forget I've got a facebook page called jason newland dot jason newland's boring group where nobody ever joins and I mention it and no one ever joins I've got 248 people or members on my group and I mention it nearly every single recording and I haven't had anyone new in about six months or three months I just feel neglected I don't feel seen so yeah I think maybe one of the problems is because of the type of recordings I do where I mean if I was listening to this I would have my eyes closed sitting on my chair reclined and I would not have a piece of paper next to me to write down website addresses or you know facebook groups names or anything like that so it's kind of one of those things but maybe there's a way I can I don't know all the dogs in the background I'll leave the dog in the background if it's not too noisy because I realize actually um you can't you can rarely hear it kind of just about on the podcast I can hear it with my ears but this podcast doesn't pick up that much stuff outside of a certain range it'll just be very like distance-y like if I was to talk if I was to walk to the window and talk you'd hear the difference it just in sound because of it would sound like I was far away so we'll do it come on let's walk to the window I'm pretending it's a big room I'm just standing in one space just pretending I've got a massive room that's childish wasn't it all right I'm now at the window can you hear me see this is me at the window the same same volume as I was when I was sitting down now I won't hear what this sounds like until I come to do the editing so I'll walk back now this is really the distance did I fool you though did you think for a second there that wow he lives in a mansion I don't I mean I will never complain about the size of this flat because this is a good size it's not big but it's not small either it's not a tiny flat so I found quite quite lucky because some of the newer council flats apparently I've been told I don't know if it's true or not some of the newer and by new I mean the last 20 or 30 years are smaller than this this is more because this was in the 70s this was built so they're a bit more generous with space I mean the flats still were built in the 50s 50s and 60s were big seriously and I lived in well blindly I lived in at least I lived in two council flats like old style council flats that were I think most of them were demolished in like the the 90s and 2000s and that but I lived in a block of flats in Newcastle and I lived in a block of flats in Stratford so I was renting a room off a friend there the flat was huge it was really a big flat big living room everything lovely I'd have loved to have lived there I mean I did live there but you know for as my own flat to have somewhere that size it it's great really really great but it was a two-bedroom flat so it's not like the average size I mean this is a one-bedroom flat I've got a neighbor who's got a two-bedroom flat and hers is way bigger than mine as well because not only are the two bedrooms but the the living room is much bigger the kitchen's much bigger bathrooms around the same size can you hear the doggy barking barking all day long all day every day it's got like occasionally she asks she asks it to stop the owner but hey I'm not in control of what other people do I don't remember the size of the one in Newcastle because you've got to remember we haven't got to remember but it's worth pointing out that I was tiny so at that time this flat would have seemed huge because I was about two centimeters tall you know I was only like four or five at the time actually I just watched a movie called Downsizing and I've seen it before I'm pretty sure I actually let me have a look don't worry I'm going to come back to the podcast that I was talking about downsizing see the reason it was 2017 I was going to say I remember renting it out blockbusters but obviously I didn't 2017 it would have been streaming so in fact I wouldn't have streamed it in 2017 I probably would have streamed it maybe 2018 2019 I definitely didn't go to the cinema to watch it and it's got what's his name what's his name Matt Damon so Matt Damon is the star and it's I just really like it the thing is they budgeted it was 68 to 76 million and it made 55 million at the box office yeah but I bet it's made quite a few quite a few million cents you know like on streaming services and stuff because it's actually a good film it not a lot happens in a way I mean it's very apparently it was the box office bomb but I liked it so it's basically part of because of the climate situation and stuff like that a scientist discovers a way to miniaturize humans to five inches tall which meant it would decrease drastically I'm reading off the screen now it sounds like I had drastically inside my head but I didn't drastically decrease in their consumption and waste didn't have consumption in there either but I read it and that's what it's about really and Matt Damon keeps trying to say Matt Dylan Matt Damon's in it and he's downsizes and all that stuff and it's I don't know it's just a really nice little film it is I thought it was a nice little film and I wonder if it got any awards even though it was classed as being right that's the thing isn't it you see the critics and everything the awards oh look an award it awards national board of review top 10 films downsizing won and what's the other one it won santa barbara international film festival it was nominated for art directors guild award I mean it was good visually as well because it wasn't it I don't know it was so I just thought it was really good now Hong Cho was I'm not sure if I said that right best supporting actress nominated by the St.

Louis film critics association I wondered as I was watching it whether or not she got nominated for anything else because I would have if you watch it I think you'll know what I mean I would have expected her to be nominated for an Oscar for like a yeah for an Oscar because her acting was so good in it she she played a Vietnamese Vietnamese person and which I think was really she really did it well let's see what let's see anything about Cho was born to Vietnamese parents oh so she is Vietnamese but anyway I mean it's not the same as saying or someone someone from China played a Chinese person it wasn't about that it was the acting was really good I mean she was I don't know if you watch it you'll see what I mean she's really good and I'm surprised that she wasn't nominated well I am I'm not surprised now seeing there was a box office flop because I don't know what the rules are when it comes to Oscars and I mean usually an Oscar doesn't that like make the movie a bit more profitable possibly I imagine but she was really good I wonder where else she's been in she has been nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress what did I tell you see such a good actor most known for her performance in the 2022 film The Well where she was nominated for Academy Award let's see what award she's got she's been nominated for loads of stuff she got actors of course through downsizing she got the Alliance of Women Film Journalists Best Actress in a Supporting Role The Whale right she won the Downtown Los Angeles Film Festival Best Actress Independent Spirits Award she won for Inherent Vice okay she won the New York Film Critics Online so she's won a lot of things but I mean getting nominated for an Oscar that in itself has got to be like a huge a huge thing isn't it like as far as building your profile up as an actor we can't give I mean other than winning getting nominated is like the second best thing isn't it I mean you don't get nominated for nothing unless the movie's called nothing and you perform really well so downsizing I wonder if there's a movie called nothing where it got nominated we can all use that in the part in the future can't we not in the past nothing movie movie movie okay Oscar winning Oscar winning movie called nothing how cool would that be if there is oh no there isn't nominated for nothing why Priscilla didn't get Hunkerburn winning moo voice I can't even spell movie I want to do that now oh there is a movie called nothing 2003 directed by Vincenzo Vittanetta oh I don't remember that did anyone get nominated though it's got David Hulett Andrew Miller Gordon Pinsent no right I can't see anything they didn't I don't think that anything was won that's such a shame how good would that be if it won an Oscar right like the best actress or even the best director whatever and someone says well you don't win an Oscar for nothing and you better say he do he can Leonardo to Wankrio whatever the name is won it but we can't use that because it didn't happen so now what I want to do is I want to create a movie now called nothing just for that sole reason I've been able to say that in a conversation which seems a bit pointless doesn't it especially after all the money I'd need to raise to to produce such a thing I wonder what it would be like to make a movie to be passionate about it and to be like oh you know I'm making a movie and always I've always yeah pretty much since I was a kid I've loved watching movies or like watching movies but I'm not I don't think I look at movies the same way as somebody that wants to direct or produce their own movies or even act you know would look at it I don't look at the camera shots I don't notice that kind of stuff necessarily okay I probably don't appreciate it because someone is into all that they appreciate how much goes into it to get someone to be able to walk across a busy bridge in a straight line without anyone looking at the camera something like that as an as an example without any special effects but then it's a little bit like that you see on you what they're not really don't don't do it so much on YouTube but there was a kind of a trend where you'd see someone standing on a balcony in a netball arena well I think you call it basketball in America don't they a netball or basketball arena and you've got the net which is a long way away and there on a balcony the person and they're standing facing the other way and they just chuck the ball and you see the ball the whole time it doesn't go off camera or anything you know it's no special effect and you see it it lands into the net and it looks amazing and it is amazing but what you don't see is the hundreds of times that that person did it in order to catch the one time that it worked that seemed that seemed mildly interesting while I was talking about it but once I'd finished it I don't know it didn't fill me with that feeling of accomplishment if I'm honest so back to the podcast I did the whatever it was called what was it called anyone anyone remember money or your uh sleep or your money back five hours of pure boredom and I thought it was quite a cute title wasn't it and it is five hours and it's no repetition it's just one I mean yeah it's made up of different recordings but they're like from beginning of the year some of them so I edited out the end so instead of saying although I don't always say that so at the end of a sleep hypnosis recording quite often I don't say you know be kind to yourself and all that stuff I just like end with the word sleep or relax and you know just kind of done but I went through each one to see how I ended it to make sure there was no really chat at the end because I didn't want to and then edited out the beginning of the next recording for example if I started on number one I'd go to the end of number one edit that one out and then at the beginning of number two edit that to a point where it linked with the end of the last one and then if the end is like now sleep I edit that off I take that off and add the second bit on the second one on where it just continues so it's me just continuing to talk so there's no ending until the very end after the 10 after the end of the 10th recording which is why it ended up being five hours long because I deleted a fair bit off of each one I was quite pleased with it I listened to it myself I'm going to do a few more because I've got so many recordings I might do a few more of those ones I might actually call that one volume one sleep all your money back five hours of boredom volume one and and then do volume two volume three or whatever so every time I've done 10 sleep recordings maybe I'll do a volume because I think it's nice five hours of uninterrupted sleep hypnosis I think it's quite nice it's um you know it's no repetition there's no it's just continuous but it's also I say up to date but it's you know kind of new newish yeah yeah yeah yeah so um so I did that so this is the third day of eating three meals a day and I'm feeling quite all right for it actually it's a Friday Saturday Sunday yeah I've still got another one to eat today to make it you know three four days but I'm feeling better for it actually you know I mean vegetables which is good because you know I can't remember the last time I even had any vegetables vegetables some people actually call vegetables vegetables and they call them oh not hedgehogs not hippopotamus um oh what's the really slow moving animals tortoise instead of a tortoise tortoise no it's tortoise tortoise and I listened to this radio show it's Nick Abbott on a Friday Saturday night it's 10 o'clock LBC and for years and years and years he's called Nigel Farage the same as everyone else calls him now he's saying Farage he's changed the surname so he's now mispronouncing it on purpose Farage everybody else calls him Farage I mean everyone if you watch anyone he's mentioned on the news quite a lot and radio shows TV shows the internet and everyone calls him and have done for decades Nigel Farage but this radio DJ or radio presenter calls him Nigel Farage and some of his listeners have started to say as well it's like just in it and I wonder because you know I always pronounce all of my words correctly as I'm sure you're aware I'm sure you're aware though okay maybe not all of them but it winds me up that's all I want to say it just winds me right up I think that's why he does it I do I sometimes wonder if anybody that has a radio show listens to me and then I think blimey my ego's got out of control but then they're just human beings aren't they I'm listening to them maybe they listen to me but then how are they going to know I exist because to find my shows is it's like a trying to find a I don't know something that's hidden really well that's that's all I can think because unless you know that I exist unless you know about the let me bore you to sleep podcasts or if you know my name and you know that I do hypnosis recordings and stuff you're not the chance of you finding me by accident is quite slim because although I am on the internet I'm on very few lists which in you know real life is quite good to not be on a list isn't it but it's I just you know if you put in let's say if you google let's google let's go to google google got google.

com there was a time when people used to actually buy things like google. com and take it to their own thing that way people thought they were on google but it wasn't but don't use chrome just go away so if I put in best sleep podcasts 2026 so here we go here we go and it's the same ones every single time so AI is giving me the first lot am I on there no nope nope nope digital pods am I on there best podcast to fall asleep now I don't I'm not expecting to be at the top but I kind of feel that I've earned my right to on the list you know because I've been around a long time now no I'm not on this one nope nope nope nope nope I'm not reading them out because I don't want you to leave and go there so there so that's it nope not even a mention now about I just like well why why I mean can you imagine between one and two thousand downloads a day I mean depends to be fair but you know it's between one and two depends on what's happening I mean today I think I might get about 1000 but yesterday I got 1267 day before 1923 before that was 2232 before that was 1918 but then the day before that was 1438 then 1633 1672 1143 a much lower one 1034 then 1505 and the day before that 1857 so it just all depends you know I mean and the 11th of June when was that 11th of June was Thursday that's quite low the 7th of June was the lowest one of the month when was the set up it was a Sunday yep a Sunday and the 23rd of May but that was a Sunday as well 23rd no Saturday weekends for some reason quite often a bit quieter so I got the 9th of June that was a good day 9th of June that was a Tuesday and you got 17th 18th 19th 17th Wednesday Thursday Friday so yeah the weekends tend to be a little bit quieter but then it's summer out there people are busy you know I mean they're going out and doing things and in the UK I tend to get more people listening in the evening which kind of makes sense if it's you know sleep if it's a sleep recording and so the stats change quite a lot so when I go to bed at 10 the stats probably haven't updated for a few hours anyway so I might go to bed and it might be I don't know 900 was it six seven eight nine so in four hours it's probably going to be about a thousand nine nine hundred to a thousand by the time I go to bed when I wake up in the morning it's going to be like 1400 or something because there's no extra people listening in America as well like so because I think the stats go to one o'clock I was thinking what I was originally talking about yeah so I don't I mean if I was known and I was at the top of any or even on any of those lists could you imagine how many people would be visiting my podcast and listening I can't no I can I mean I don't know I tell you what I don't understand how long have we got okay there's not there's not enough time to tell you what I don't understand but one of the things I find kind of unusual and I'm not judging I just find it um it for me it doesn't the two don't fit together but true crime podcasts to go to sleep to I don't I understand how they can like I've watched some of the true crime programs and it is it's sometimes hard to stop watching right a dog is going really going for it I don't know I hope someone does something about that it's a curious little dog honestly but it just barks incessantly is that a word incessantly it's like all day and it's not like constant all day long 24 hours a day non-stop not like that but it's stop and start all day it says stop now but lucky if you can get like five ten minutes of it barking and so I'm looking here on reddit what are some good podcasts to no yes the true crime podcast I don't know why anyone would want to listen to one of those and fall asleep because it's talking about horrible stuff so that's not relaxing to me I want to feel relaxed and that's just my own personal thing and I know I do talk about my life in these podcasts and maybe not all of it is yeah another bark in there um so yeah I don't really it's not really for me to fall asleep I wouldn't fall asleep to it's like falling asleep to like Stephen King novel like no I mean whatever works but no no you're right no no but on here I'm not mentioned it's like I don't exist but I know I must exist because somebody's listening somebody must be listening I remember years ago I had my website and this was probably let's say if my see if my name's in here at all Jason Newland oh avoid what podcast host look like no I'm not in there at all I'm looking for a new podcast right no I can't find anything I don't know reddit is there's a lot of I'm not I might be mentioned somewhere I can't see I think um I do sometimes wonder if people listen to my podcasts I'm kind of like somewhere in between a guilty pleasure and a dirty secret like nobody wants anyone else to know they listen to me when actually if everyone that listened to me shared me online shared my stuff online I would reach a huge audience but nobody seems to share my stuff like I get the occasional share on Facebook I mean if people just shared my stuff I'd be I don't know I'd have at least three more listening or a year see yeah um reddit's not really helping bestpodcasts.

co. uk coco sleep but these are they're famous people so there's quite a few famous people have got into podcasts last few years so can't really compete with Natalie Ambroglio or Pallavi Shada whoever that is Shamia Anderson yep so I go from there that's God has gone gets sleepy sleep meditations and stories now that's an actual podcast itself pod shrink. com best sleep podcast for better rest in 2026 so am I on there no again not on there I just I'll tell you what it is what I think happens and I'm genuinely this what I think happens is all they do is cut and paste from another website so the same top ones are always there I'm pretty much every single one not always but a lot of them it's just copy and pasted so no one's actually doing any actual research I sound very bitter don't I I'm a very bitter young man okay this is feed spot podcasts now I know that I've been listed on this one before but am I and this is for top sleep podcasts by category or no 100 best sleep podcasts so am I listed not yet not yet not yet not yet not yet not yet not yet not sleep stories for adult podcasts no no no no no no sleep meditation no no no no sleep sounds and music podcast no no no white noise and sleep sounds no no no no rain and nature sounds for sleep podcast no I don't want to be on there anywhere my asmr for sleep podcasts no no no no no boring and monotone podcasts to fall asleep too really it's this would probably be the one that I would be on isn't it if I was but no no no no no no no no no so I'm not even under the boring ones I guess my maybe my voice is too exciting too exciting and calm podcasts for sleep this is on feed spot no no no and then guided breathwork and yoga nidra podcasts well that's going to be a no isn't it me and yoga I can't even imagine it without did I ever tell you actually I did go to a yoga class probably about 2000 and 2003 so I would I would argue that I was a much fitter person back then kind of and it was all women and it wasn't like an enjoyable experience for me because I was surrounded by women in leotards it was an embarrassing experience for me because I was trying to do yoga in front of a bunch of women or anyone it would be just just doing in front of everyone it just it was embarrassing because my flexibility wasn't great back then and I think I tried I did one of the things I tried and I did fart now this isn't a fart joke it's true I genuinely did a massive fart I couldn't control I didn't even know I mean just basic must have just been air that was trapped in my hips or something and I when I'd like stretch my hips out but it just released and nobody acknowledged it that's when I realized there's no other men in the room because if there'd been other men in the room there would have been laughter because the laugh you know farts are funny to men it's a it's an inbuilt inbuilt mechanism for to laugh at farts and I'm not saying it's not funny to women but like men can't help it it is a part of our brains that just never never mature enough apart from super serious men I mean there are super serious people that I mean some people don't laugh at anything do they it's hard to believe but actually in the past I used to like meeting people that didn't laugh that were like really hard work because I'd I'd even date women that that took themselves seriously because I liked it when I could break them when I could break down their defense I mean so if they're all prim and proper and all trying to like put on graces and put on a facade and then I'd catch them out and they'd start laughing and they couldn't stop well they obviously did eventually but it's like it was uncontrollable which laughter should be uncontrollable shouldn't it and I used to love that because you can see the real person when they're laughing when when they're caught off guard and they laugh and it breaks down all the barriers there's no pretense there there's no defense mechanisms there's no anything it's just almost like a joyful moment and yeah I quite like that quite I used to like doing that and I did it in a place that I worked at I didn't know it was going to work but there was someone that I worked with and she she was like one of the bosses and at one point she threatened to sack me if I didn't pass the tests in training so I didn't kind of didn't like her but you know I kind of had extra training and I did all right and it's just because it was all new to me it was a new system I didn't know the actual sales bit was easy it was the computer system I struggled with because it was just different from anything I'd used before anyway I was working with her one day and I was on a different project thing and I said something to her that it tickled her because it was something about VD because there was a department called something whatever and I said oh I thought that stood for venereal disease or something and she just started to laugh and don't but this is when the place was in the middle of being redundanced honestly a whole whole sections of the company were being redundant being made redundant yeah the whole place was a big stress bubble and there wasn't a lot of laughter in there at all and I just I just set her off and I mean it's something I said that perhaps I could have even got in trouble for because it was a bit inappropriate but I thought I just said it I didn't plan to say it I just because it was genuinely what I used to think I didn't think it meant that but that's how I remembered it it was like um visual display department or something so I just said I'll just remember it I thought it meant venereal disease or something and she just started laughing and and it's nice you know right I've looked through all the feed spots nothing but when it comes to sleep show hosts and producers my name's in there so who who knows what the heck's going on the best sleep podcast in 2026 for promoting restorative rest I think I'm going to start a podcast a new one called I hope this gets to the top of the rankings please this please list this sleep hypnosis no please list this sleep podcast in your top 10 do you reckon at all I mean it might let me bore you to sleep it's got sleep and it's got bore there's gotta be I don't know I need to perhaps start a new sleep podcast but I don't know what it could be and it's not because I want to start a new podcast I just want to I want my podcast to be seen well not seen heard I want them to be found and they're not well they are because people do listen you're listening that's if anyone is listening oh I had yeah this knew this person this is about 2008 2009 and I was I was still doing this back then and uh I was a few years into it I had a website and I was talking about the stats and you know to my this friend that I was talking to and he said oh don't take too much notice of the stats it's probably mainly bots it's like why are you why are you stepping on my dreams you know I get a bit of pleasure I've always got a little bit of pleasure from the stats a little bit like seeing what country people are visiting my website from and on the youtube and stuff like that just you know just knowing kind of although it might not be huge numbers it's a broad reach I've got a very broad and worldwide audience and like yeah it's all bots so you can say the whole internet is full of bots yeah so no one in reality is even looking at any websites which would mean there'd be no money made there'd be no internet if no human beings actually looking at websites the internet would have closed down years ago I didn't say that to him because I didn't want to be rude plus I needed the toilet so I had to rush off for a poo um good pods best best bedtime podcasts 2026 so it's the top 11 this is hello team not hello Jason and so if they listen to my podcast they realize that I don't have guests on here and you may argue saying yeah but you have okay I have but only three times three times two times I had a Dini and I had another person a couple of years ago maybe on a YouTube live that was you know turned into a podcast I had some people as well but generally I don't do guests right this one's from Brendan Mulligan preview your pod page site just trying to find the ones because I've had loads MD Tamim Khan a high clap hand or is a wavy hand I don't know they think I'm called wavy hand want to grow your podcast not want to grow your Apple podcast and reach more listeners question mark I help podcasters increase downloads visibility rankings and audience engagement through professional Apple podcast marketing increase downloads improve rankings improve rankings rather reach targeted listeners expand your audience and send me your podcast link and I'll suggest the best strategy to help your show grow so I don't know you know things like that I don't know who who any of these people are to yeah what's this Brendan Mulligan again hey Jason I was looking up sleep hypnosis dash Jason Newland and noticed your web presence is a speaker page after 288 episodes that's a real show and sitting behind a generic template that looks like every other podcast on the platform and no I do have my own website thank you very much the bigger issue none of those episodes are indexed by Google why every one of them is locked inside the apps really that's a lot of content that potential listeners can't find through search if that's something why though because every single one of my episodes is on Apple so no podcast episodes are listed on Google is that that's what they're saying that doesn't make sense to me I need an expert don't I is there any experts out there I'll happily if you if you can promote my podcasts so that I've got ten thousand dollars or ten thousand pounds a month coming in I will pay you um 32 pound and 23 pence a year now that's a good deal park Parker Olsen is one last time reaching out I promise I know you're probably juggling a like me to start now if I said yes that would probably sign me up legally wouldn't it in some kind of contract hypnosis for sleeping deeply okay this is from Catherine high hypnosis for sleeping deeply Jason Newland in brackets one thing I'd flag a properly optimized YouTube channel turns your existing episodes into a 24 7 discovery engine no introduction just like you know here's something that's going wrong that you're not doing properly that's a bit weird way to start a conversation people find your show through search old episodes bring in new subscribers weeks or months later you gain listeners between uploads without doing anything extra you've already put in the work optimization just make sure the right people can find it reply okay and we'll send over a link to our YouTube AI engine so that you can see exactly why your podcast isn't being found and what needs to change we're also showing we'll throw in a $12 ad credit when you try our native ads promotion so you can drive immediate results from day one I mean if they've got a point whoever these people I don't know if they're I don't know if they're real people or not because you know this is like the email address isn't even a real email address there is this you know I mean so like okay I'm not going to reply to that it'd just be there's got to be like a proper company Tom Beamley I don't know what Beamley is pod view oh this is another one we noticed that breaking free from control and the manipulation links to a podcast hoating platform hoating hosting Spreaker instead of a custom website so I can't afford to have an individual website for each podcast and as far as I'm aware big podcasts probably don't have websites for their podcasts anyway I might be wrong I mean some do I know there's some do because I've researched it but it's it's a brand ownership you control the thing is it's on a third third whatever platform and it's on Spreaker and how people are going to find it this on Apple it's on Spotify people generally aren't going to find my stuff on Spreaker but it's shared that's where it lives but where it's listened to from Apple podcasts and Spotify and all the other major podcast apps here's another one guest pitch for why will power keeps failing I'm Alexandra a hypnotherapist in New York City 16 years in private practice I'd like to come on you as a guest the angle that lands highest is for your audience why will power keeps failing oh okay what's her name Janelle my book advanced hypnosis a practitioner practitioners guide beyond scripts and techniques that's clever because there's another book so similar to that but she's added the word beyond okay here's Ibrahim Hossain I help podcasts grow organically I'm interested in long-term growth partnership would you like to work together to grow your podcast and increase its visibility if someone actually contact me and they really were I'm not saying these aren't legit because they may well be but I don't know who they are I don't know who does it someone that does this stuff for a living someone that could take my well just at least one podcast let's say the let me bore you to sleep took it on and promoted it you got it you know listened to by more people then you know that'd be groovy but then I don't know how I'd pay for that because I don't make any money from these podcasts organic podcast promotion services oh no that's that's right Alex Weiss hello sir I'm a digital marketer and podcast promotion is my favorite profession how many professions do you have if you have an Apple podcast and YouTube marketing Spotify or SoundCloud podcast looking for an experienced writer you can hire me well they don't know everyone I got podcasts or not that's weird Alex Weiss again hello if you had this is kind of a weird sentence if you have an Apple podcast and YouTube marketing Spotify or SoundCloud podcast looking for an experienced writer you can hire me too many words too many words I can't handle that many words no so you see what I mean there's a lots and lots of uh I get these very regularly very regularly indeed oh and um just wanted to follow up briefly on my previous email this is MD Iqbae Hossain okay that's just more the same I can help podcasts grow organically you know what you could do help my podcast grow then contact me and say I did this it's organic though the thing is gotta be careful because if they start using bots or using AI or whatever to kind of um to do something dodgy that's not something that I want because you know there was years ago I don't know if you can still get it but you used to be able to buy like Facebook likes Facebook friends YouTube subscribers you could like get 10,000 YouTube YouTube subscribers for uh for a certain amount of money this is I mean this is quite a long time ago I don't know if stuff like that's still available but it was it was also on MySpace as well you could get them but Facebook uh yeah YouTube you could buy but basically they weren't real you know you could end up with 10,000 100,000 subscribers on YouTube but still only be getting uh like five six seven hundred views of your videos a month because a lot most of the people that subscribed aren't even real people they're just like fake accounts being promoted or being opened and I think it's much easier to do that stuff now with the AI stuff breaking shift compliance failures rising across supplement and cosmetic brands okay what's that got to do with me this is from Dodie Grimentog Grimentog hi Jason I want you to flag what is quickly becoming a breaking trend in the consumer products space and it's starting to impact how entire categories get launched across what across supplements cosmetics and food products why are you telling me this all right it's basically a story and am I interested in covering this story as a developing industry story no no stop it right applications open for the podcast lounge at Aesthetica film festival right it's okay it's about movies and stuff oh I come to the end that's good I come to the end of this podcast I'm ever so pleased to have met you la la la la la la la so yeah that's done that's done that's done what's in the news what I can't be bothered see yeah have I got my computers still connected to my phone it is so I got the internet connected to because the internet wasn't working earlier and I connected it to my phone so my phone the juice on my phone is going but the juice on the laptop is also going so I'm gonna have to go because otherwise it's gonna run out you know I mean and all the dog barking interruptions it's gonna take me ages to edit this thing ages I tell you ages and ages and ages bless anyway um let's see if there's any others narcolepsy right yeah I don't yeah I'm this is like a project sleep and it's talking about narcolepsy and sleep stuff that's not really uh seven podcasts to fall asleep to um podcast alarm.

app what does it say on here yeah same ones same ones as ever no originality they're just copying from one's website to another the sleep foundation are they the same as well same ones yep right well that's it for me so thank you for listening remember to be kind to yourself because you do deserve to be happy be gentle with yourself you deserve to feel safe lots of love bye
