Hello and welcome to Let Me Bore You To Sleep. know that's the way it goes but I was thinking about it was quite a good recording Wow I should have kept it because I do I feel like I'm repeating myself now so I had the asbestos man come over and check the asbestos and I was gonna get all like tidied up before he arrived and I mean admittedly I did get the kitchen and the bathroom pretty tidy so I don't think he could complain well not that he's here to complain but it seemed okay and then the bar in the

bedroom needed tidying up the living room really needs tidying up it still does but it got me sort of working on it the thing is they came he came round about half 8 in the morning so I didn't have time to really do anything before he got here on the day so yeah he just said to say well not say anything just I mean I don't I don't think he's a spy for the council you know but you never know do you oh he's starting to think people are spying on

him in conspiracy paranoia paranoia I don't mean it like that I mean if he's coming into council tenants houses part of his kind of thing might be to let the council know if there's something not quite right going on you know if if they come in and they see a lot of plants growing in one of the rooms as an example you know something like that or someone a very very very avid collector of papers to the point of not being able to maneuver around the property safely then that would

probably also be because it's a fire hazard isn't it that could also be something that might report to the council so that's that's something I had in mind that maybe when it makes sense that they would really doesn't it or if they came into a building or to a flat and maybe somebody clearly needed a bit of assistance you know just I mean if I was in charge of the council I probably would want to have that as part of the contract when I send anyone from another company into the

flat you know just keep a keep an eye out for a couple of things couple of couple of things that may be alarming maybe useful for the council to know about in order to kick the tenant out or help them and my experience is the council the housing like they want to help people they don't want to kick anyone out because uncle sausages was a hoarder and they didn't kick him out his flat was a complete mess and they didn't they wanted to help him now I realize that might have

been because he was like nearly 80 but I like to think maybe they would also treat me the same and so they were very very kind and caring so I've got to show them respect for that but then thinking about it they didn't have anyone tell them because he had people going in there and working and they didn't even mention to the council about the place being completely up to your waist in papers and magazines and I mean I've never seen anything like it outside of a TV show.

I've got so much to tell you I don't if you can hear the dog in the background I can't do anything about it it was literally barking all day yesterday that's partly why why I kind of stopped the recording because it was annoying me but I can't do anything about it the only way the dogs not telling the dog to be quiet and so you know I can't nothing I can do the only thing really I could do is make these recordings in the middle of the night and you know

even if I stay up late doing a recording I'm just so tired the next day I wake up early still but so tired so tired but hopefully okay this this is what happened I'm gonna get round to why I'm mentioning this two mornings ago I head-butted my microphone you know the little red one that you might seen on the videos it was a good mic a Tula and I think it was about 300 when I bought it many years ago and I never really used it until recently I used it

a little bit because it's supposed to just be like for me I wanted it to be a mic that I'd carry around with me and talk into and maybe make the podcast while I'm walking through the fields with Vinnie yes I did mention your name in but it didn't seem wasn't really right for that and I had other microphones so I didn't really use it until my recording studio broke and then I was trying to think of you know an alternative and that came up like oh I just remembered I

had that in there in my little storage room for I can't give that a go and it it plugged into the iPad which was it was different I've not done that before but it worked so then that left me because that was what Thursday morning it's a Thursday all day I didn't couldn't do recording because what are you squeaking for Vinnie stop squeaking seriously it's so hard done by the way it's just like oh what are you going without what are you honestly Vinnie what are you going without what is

it that you're not getting how are you what needs are not being met right now he's looking at me like I'll stop with that psychology crap don't come on your hierarchy of needs what is what needs are you not getting so I thought I need to get first of all I needed to tidy this place up for Friday morning and then you know the asbestos man came and did his thing he was here for about 40 minutes I'd say and then he left and for some reason I had it in

my head to really to continue to tidy up because I'd already started in here putting stuff in this storage room and stuff and I continued all day yesterday and it is looking a lot tidier than it was the other desk well this desk and the other desk is very much clearer than it was but then I thought ooh how am I going to make a recording what am I going to use what am I going to use it with and I had a memory of is when this desk was in

front of the television did I say only listen when you can safely close your eyes I'm not sure this desk was in front of the television and I was I used the microphone to talk in to the laptop and I think I did that because I was trying to train the 11 labs to clone my voice and I had to talk into the thing I couldn't do it on the iPad so I had to do it thank you so I had to yeah I found a microphone that fitted so directly

into the laptop via an extension thing Vinnie stop hassling me please mate please his tail's going crazy it's honestly it's like a helicopter he's gonna start you can start taking off in a minute like a little ginger helicopter he's a ginger helicopter and his name is Vinnie Newland hopefully he'll get bored and go to sleep so he wasn't giving me any hassle let me move my hand do you want to be on my lap you can get on my lap if you want to get on my lap it's fine oh

yes get on my lap if you want to get on my lap it's absolutely groovy with me is you do whatever you want to do ideally without making those squeaky sounds although the squeaky sounds are cute they're just they're less they're less cute when I'm making a recording yes they are they're less cute when I'm making a recording oh by the way did you know you might know but YouTube have made available quite a few movies like actual movie movies on the platform for free to watch don't if you knew

that you might know that but I discovered it a few weeks ago it's like because they used to have like a movie but then they tell you oh this is just a preview free preview but now you know even old movies but now the they've got quite a few that you can actually watch on there and it's if you've got a TV you watched YouTube on TV it's a good platform to watch movies so yeah I'm not quite sure I wouldn't be surprised if they try to maybe do a kind

of blockbusters on YouTube you know make all the latest movies available use pay to watch it but not the stupid price that Amazon charges because literally to buy a movie is like 12 pound whatever to watch it was it to buy movies about 12 pound 99 to watch it is about 8 pound 99 there's no reason a movie that's being streamed and if you're only borrowing it you get it for I don't know was it 48 hours or something maybe a week to stream a movie it shouldn't cost more than

a pound a couple of pound because what does it cost them there's nothing physical to make they haven't got delivered a thing they haven't got premises that they have to upkeep so I mean blockbusters really if you think about it blockbusters would work really really well as a streaming service and you might say yeah that's what Netflix is yeah but Netflix isn't is it Netflix doesn't have all the latest movies apart from the ones that Netflix makes so can you imagine if all the latest movies just the way blockbusters used

to work was available as a streaming site and you just pay per movie you pay a pound a movie for 48 hours or for 24 hours you don't buy anything you just rent them and you stream it during that time and you get to stream it once actually that's not fair you get to stream as much as you want in that period I remember I used to watch movies over and over again sometimes so this microphone I tested it I tested it and I had it recording for about 10 minutes

without me saying anything just to see what kind of background sound it picks up and it wasn't picking up the people in the garden admittedly the dog wasn't barking then if I stopped talking every time the dog barks then this recording could take me five or six hours that's okay no it's not you try editing five hours of audio it's long a very long process very long process so I'm trying to think what I was talking about what was I talking about oh yeah Netflix not Netflix blockbuster I think blockbuster

should reemerge and do exactly that just rent movies all the latest movies wherever they're from just anything that's in a cinema basically any movie that's in a cinema or has been in the cinema and then you could discuss maybe having you know going directly to Paramount or MGM or Netflix or Amazon or HBO you know wherever like the individual movies are made also have those on there as well to buy for a pound because you think well pounds not a lot well it is if you've got you know 20 million

people a week renting two or three titles around the world it's a fair amount of money isn't it because a pound people will spend like four five six seven pound because oh it's seven pound but you've got seven titles it's a huge that's like one for you get like two for each member of the family to watch so you can let the you know if you got a little kid let the little kid watch their movie on their tablet at the same time as you're watching the Exorcist or whatever you

would like to watch and it's an old movie isn't it still valid though I think historically it's still accurate I the first time I watched the Exorcist I found it quite funny I don't think it was supposed to be I'm pretty sure it wasn't supposed to be I mean is it is a little bit weird just like poltergeist that's another thing why why poltergeist surely it's an opportunity to use the word ghost poltergeist one what opportunity to use the word ghost if ever there was another one pronunciation pronunciation you know

lower back and he seems happy he's just lying there so I'm guessing that's what just what he wanted he wanted a little bit of attention now he's got it he's a happy boy seems very very calm very calm indeed don't give any very calm a little bit of water all right so yeah I've got a microphone how did I headbutt the microphone that's a good question on Thursday morning I was gonna make a hypnosis recording so everything's set up I got the recorder going you know just everything's ready the red

microphone is on top of that little box that I had it on so it could be like closer to my big mouth and I fell asleep it wasn't a half sleep it was a full on sleep and my head just fell down and banged into it and it fell off onto the table and didn't really think anything of it because you know I dropped it on the floor in the past and never had an issue but then you know yesterday morning yeah Friday morning I realized that it was rattling so

there shouldn't be a loose component in there yeah so I found this microphone it's a Rode microphone it's a USB one and it fits into the connector but then fits into the laptop I don't know I didn't even think about this you know I'm not sure if it would work with the iPad I should search that out to see if it worked with the iPad because I just realized I can also plug the adapter into the iPad I'll see I can test that later I just needed I just wanted a

microphone to you know to be able to use and I had to test around and get it to set up and it seems to go okay got it up and running yeah I mean this morning I actually made a sleep hypnosis recording called fast asleep and again I was falling asleep while I was recording it but I've uploaded it or edited it and uploaded it and I guess trying to make up for the last couple of days where I didn't really do anything because I didn't know really what to do

because it's not just finding the microphone it's finding something that it could work with because my recording studio doesn't work anymore and then getting the correct cables and testing everything so yeah got it now so that's good it's really it's actually attached to my desk so it's just standing there which is not very exciting really is it to be honest when you think about it I'm just trying to think of anything else or the boxing's being cancelled for tonight so there's boxing in Paris there was supposed to be but one

of the headline people the British bloke got found banned substances in his bloodstream and I don't know what they were if it was steroids don't know but he's he's not being banned because I have to go through a process but he is definitely not allowed to fight unless he fights in another country where the I think is it RADA DADA SADA BADA something like that so the anti-doping organization in the UK is not really valid in America I don't think or it must be valid in France I really was hoping

that they'd find a replacement because very short notice to to tell ten ten thousand people that they you know just shows off so I don't think there probably was a lot of money in this fight because a lot of the heavyweights they want big money because each fight they have is it's a potential banana slip banana slip banana skin so you know someone some of these are waiting for a world title shot and they're just waiting and if they take on someone that's way lower down and they don't look very

good or they draw potentially they're going to move be moved down the rankings or if they lose Wow because if someone in like someone number seven beats someone at number four then that number seven then becomes well maybe not number four but it'll be like much higher and the one that was number four will be I don't know if it'd be number four but it'd be a similar kind of thing you know lower anyway so I got these I'm trying to figure this anything else I need to tell you before

I do is I download the video from YouTube it has to be at least less to be under an hour and I post them on to Instagram and TikTok that's it also I'm never more than a couple of seconds I'm just falling asleep it's weird I thought about you know I've got a dentist appointment on Monday so I lost track of what I was talking about then so yeah I've got an appointment on Monday with a dentist then I've got the kitchen people coming around in the week I'm sure I've

got something happening next Friday but maybe not so yeah I've got a couple of things to deal with Monday and Tuesday which is enough that's enough for a week so Ali I need to put some cold water on myself just to wake myself up when I had to close the window pulled a curtain over which is a shame because it's a bright lovely day out there just to try and cover up the the sound but as soon as I finished recording I'll open the curtains and I'll open the window again

because I like to have some air in here all year round not just when it's nice and the weird thing about it is you know a couple of months ago it'd be dull and dark and grimy out there at this time of the day so it's good to appreciate and get out my stuff but when I'm making a recording it does need to be just try to I'm not shouting like yeah but I just would like there to be a bit more quietness so by the way if you hear me

just rambling about nothing it means I've fallen asleep and I was sleep talking so don't worry about it okay Ali I think I tell you why I think I fall asleep when I do recordings now it's just because I listen to my recordings and they send me to sleep so now I'm hearing in my voice and my voice makes you really relaxed and fall asleep and I never just yeah not that making recordings didn't used to make me feel relaxed before but now it's quite difficult to make these recordings damn

it perhaps I need to stop listening to them hmm right Ali perhaps a cup of coffee would have done the trick I don't know do you think dogs are already living on the moon no why does the cow jump over the moon is the moon made of cheese in your expert opinion I never understood why the cow jumped over the moon what is that rhyme cow jumped over the moon any meaning the couch couch of the moon did it did it did it did it disrespect and that did it did

and also people I say so this same sentence over and over again like and what and what and what and they say it like 20 30 times another one is like are you mad are you mad over and over and over again you good you good you good allow it allow it allow it it's like I've like seen it with my own eyes I've heard it with my own feet it's like what's going on why anyway the cheese situation because I think because when they went on the moon it was

bouncy wasn't it cheese is quite bouncy and if the moon was made of cheese to be fair if the moon was made of cheese there'd be no moon left would there would have eaten it well you know it's true we'd have people up there breaking it down and sucking up all the cheese and sending it directly to earth hmm but I did wonder why when they went back to the moon it was a big thing recently ill astronauts are going back to the moon for the first time since 1972 well

the question is why did they stop going after 1972 after spelling a spelling spending I imagine billions of dollars going there in 1969 why would they just become half-heartedly interested in the whole project after a couple of years and then just thinking I mean why forgetting that bit why did they wait so long to go back and then they were making a big deal about it's the furthest we've ever been away from earth and again my question well why you've literally had 56 years 56 years to send someone up once

a month hmm doesn't make sense to me and as far as I'm aware they didn't actually land on the moon which was what I thought the whole purpose of going there was is to land on the moon again it's weird wouldn't it if they got up there and then suddenly when those police undercover people that you know find you for leaving rubbish litter because the last time I was up there they left all kinds of stuff didn't they take that flag with you it's not rubbish take it with you anyway

it's not litter if it's old look it's falling apart how can it fall apart there's no oxygen it's a little oxygen at all on the moon it was just very very tiny amount I don't know I just I'm sure they had their reason but you notice the broadcast went off for a while while they were recording I think for a few hours so I'm wondering that's when they got to the dark side so I'm wondering what what it was I think yeah yeah so what was the original question do you

think dogs are already living on the moon no no I don't know something is because if you think about it everything is made up of something and everything is living it's all energy it's all alive so you know if you got like a sample of the moon brought it to you'd have to bring it don't bring it to me bring it to someone that knows knows what they're doing but they can magnify it and they can see life it just won't be I have to be cool if penguins lived there

the moon penguins I don't know I just I love the idea that there are creatures living on every planet but then something that like a living form everything's living that's the weird things like oh there's no there's no water so there's nothing living there you couldn't all there's no oxygen nothing can live with no oxygen which isn't true there's species that you can put into a jar a glug like a completely non air airtight container you could put certain things in there and it will develop and it will grow life

will grow no oxygen it must live under the water then no water okay I kind of made that up but there are like things that we can't see so minute but they can thrive in the most strangest places love is in the air everywhere you settle down I don't know I like see I the idea of you know space people aliens if you want to call them that it excites me and I personally think that the aliens have already been here uh-huh see ya I don't know I wish I could

you know they had to start the story and who's in the story what is a cat playing a fiddle okay but according to this from the image it's not playing it's just it's a fiddle on its own with arms and legs and a face if you don't know what a fiddle is it's a it's like a violin a violin pretty much I did actually I used to play the violin when I was a kid when I was about 9 or 10 and I had this idea to start like a little

business and teach other kids the basics of playing a playing a violin and I knew I couldn't teach like high level but you know when I was a karate I could teach that the younger kids the basics and that I thought and that's that was like a few years later but I thought of an idea I can actually make some make a bit of money you know so I can buy more sweeties and all it was gonna be is I put an advert in the paper and the local news agents

just saying you know you can you can learn from me and learn the basics you know how to play my posture and stuff like that some of the things that I didn't understand until I was older I so I decided I had a local place I was gonna do it from and like a hall it was gonna be free I thought maybe I can teach in groups get a group of kids and teach them and I thought it was gonna be a success I even had when I say printed photocopied

but I had some like things photocopied with it and it yeah I don't know why but it didn't it didn't reach its potential I even had a business name I called it because I thought well I'm teaching kids the fiddle so yeah kiddy fiddler so that's what I did like and I got my phone up so hello kiddy fiddler and like for some reason it didn't take off and the thing is so it's a title I thought yeah but kiddy violinist is not very catchy is it I was only 10

the phone didn't stop ringing it's weird so yeah eventually we had to move house and move town so what other questions are there did it did the diddly did why is that gone that's very strange right right it seems to lock me out I don't want it to lock me out stop it Hickory Dickory Dock some okay oh yeah got it I found it again so all comments is a moon made of cheese so I don't think so except be none left and I think dogs already living on the moon

how did they how did they get there I just got thinking there's some people that are absolutely petrified of dogs they come to the door deliveries and there's like the screams they see Vinnie so maybe they're from the moon and the moon is full of dogs that has run wild and the local population don't have those pets they come here oh there's a dog is a dog it's not a wild dog oh I've also here's another little thing I have an eye test on Monday as well as a dentist the

eye test is afterwards I taught that I was gonna be having my tooth removed but it's not it's just gonna be NHS checkup and then they'll put me in for another one to have the tooth removed as far as I'm aware I don't think I've done justice to Ali's questions I apologize I think I answered them too seriously too seriously I do wonder because you know there's a lot conspiracy you know about people going on to the moon and did they ever actually do it and the fact that they didn't

go on to the moon this time makes me wonder well when's the last time we saw outside of a movie an astronaut walking around on the moon we don't do we now I don't know if other astronauts cosmonauts or whatever from other countries have done it what a great opportunity though now with all the technology we got to build some kind of a base on there literally just take up take all the pieces to I suppose a compound or something fill it together like a jigsaw puzzle start with one container

and then add another one and another one and knock through each one so you can make the rooms bigger and the end of it you could have yeah a lot of people visiting and stuff I don't know Shanthani if you could travel in time where would it be hmm does that mean I've only got one place I'm only allowed to go to one place in time only nowhere else just one only but nowhere else if I could travel time where would it be so I'm guessing you mean like you know

what time what year or whatever and what or period maybe I don't know I'm interested in lots of different parts of history hmm I'd quite like to go back to my childhood and watch watching that certain period of my childhood and seeing how certain aspects came together for me to be in the kids home I suppose what led to that I don't know I have an idea but I don't know sure but then I think would I go back and try and stop something from happening sometimes the simplest thing because

have can have a you know an effect can't it so or go back and I don't know I feel like going back and getting the lottery ticket coming forward and but then I'd only have to go back like two days to get the numbers for the lottery I like the idea of being able to go back and forward and back and forward rather than just like one journey I'm not sure something like that but then I'm thinking wouldn't it be more fun to do something fun what if what is a

habit you have that you think is normal but other people would think it's weird habit that I do that's normal to me I don't okay is is a few things really if I'm on it if I'm on in a car right and I've been doing this since I was a little kid if I'm in a car I was gonna say in the passenger seat but I've always been in a passenger seat or out the back because I've never driven and you know the lampposts you know where the lights are on

a motorway I would imagine not myself swinging just imagine like almost like a connection between the lights like just swinging between them not even a rope it's just more of a thing I don't know what it is just connecting them and another thing is if I see writing on the screen I have a tendency especially if it's a video this sounds talking but it's like an image but what I might find myself doing is writing it myself hmm trying to think of other things I do yeah so if I see

like some writing on a TV I'll do that writing with my finger in my mind almost like rewriting it over and over again very much so I like being on my own most of the time and I've noticed just from experience and you know bit of social just noticing things there's a lot of people that do not like being on their own really don't like it and I can't understand that what else do I do we think I used to walk on my toes with my toes crunched underneath my feet

I don't anymore I taught myself to stop doing that I was about nine or ten so that was a thing that I used to do but no one knew about it if someone sneezes or coughs near me I do have a tendency of stepping back yeah so or someone says being unwell I step back even if it's it's not contagious there yeah like the other day someone said I she had a chest infection and I could physically see myself moving backwards and I could see that she'd clearly noticed that I'd

moved backwards now I didn't run away screaming but that's that's an interesting question to me because I'm trying to think I like thinking about weird the things that make me perhaps weird just here's another quirk of mine I don't need to be right and I have no problem saying that I don't know yeah have I ever tried arts and crafts I did arts just ain't me sorry I mean I kind of think that this is artistic but just not like painting I tried to draw when I was a kid and

that didn't really go anywhere I used to enjoy it and my two older brothers my two older brothers were I don't know if they were very artistic or not I can't remember but I my stepmom was very artistic she had A-levels in art and she used to draw really lovely pictures and she painted stuff and I wanted to be like her but never quite yeah crafts I like stitch cross stitch is it and it's a crotch stitched crotch stitch stitch cross cross stitch balsa wood making stuff with that word search

but I guess it doesn't really come into it is it arts and crafts but like jigsaw puzzles things like that I used to quite enjoy doing in my mind I put those into the same category when is the last time you had a good belly laugh hmm I would every now and then I have a good laugh I've what did I watch I watched a TV show that had me laughing come what it is now there's a couple of some really funny bits I don't know I don't remember laughing as

much as I did when I first watched airplane and life at Brian there are two of my favorite movies ever and I was like 13 so yeah I loved that but that's a long time ago no I laugh I do laugh at stuff why yeah there was something I watched recently and I can't remember what it was oh yeah there was a movie with Keanu Reeves where he plays an angel and there was a few scenes in that that were very funny that had me proper laughing and yeah there was

I can't remember the scenes but they were very good yeah I can't think of any others Cindy asked what's the best piece of advice you've ever gotten hmm best bit of advice I've ever had ever gotten ever received hmm still trying to think best piece of advice I've ever gotten there's pieces of advice that I ignored one was my dad used to keep saying to me when I was younger when I was in my early 20s get yourself on the council list for a council property get yourself on a council

list I never did which is why it took me to the age of what I did eventually but took me to the age of 44 before I got a council flat around here it wouldn't have taken I reckon if I'd have got on a council list at 20 I probably would have had a council flat by the time I was 30 in London at the time maybe shorter than that yeah I'm not sure and personally I think because I I knew someone who was a year higher than me and we

became friends after I left school and he got a council flat so there's no reason really why I shouldn't get one because I was pretty much homeless when I first left school not in the same way but yeah yeah so I'm that's one probably bit of advice I didn't take a bit of advice my friend Noel told me I don't know it was about and he said I think it was about learning a new instrument and he said well in six years time it was about learning the piano the piano

he said in six years time you'll be six years older and you'll either be able to play the piano or you won't I do believe that's everything now I know that I've missed out a lot because I'm half asleep doing this but I've got to find a way to be able to do these without falling asleep because I fall asleep doing the let me do sleep hypnosis ones but I never used to fall asleep doing the Let Me Bore You To Sleep ones but I just fall asleep when I listen
