Hello and welcome to Let Me Bore You To Sleep. This isn't a normal Let Me Bore You To Sleep but this is let me let's all stay awake to the new year. Happy New Year.

It may contain barking. Not for me. Although I can send me gifts baby and I'll bark for you.

No, it will be my little puppy Vinnie. So he may bark. Connor says Happy New Year.

Happy New Year to you. And Leah says Hi. Hi.

And so I've invited my my listeners not giving them an awful lot of time to be honest. So I posted it on Facebook, my Facebook group on my Facebook page. I just realized my collar is wonky, just like the rest of my face.

Oh, that's better. Could you imagine if only if only my boobies were bigger, I could get much larger audience. So yeah, and and there's a lot of truth in that.

I'm thinking of doing this right. Okay. Just having getting a bra, putting a bra on, filling it with like, make it look realistic and a tight t shirt.

Putting a camera so it just goes below my neck. Obviously cover up their hairy chest and just see how many people I can get watching and then suddenly just say, Hello, everyone. Do you imagine the amount of mental damage I would do to a lot of people? A lot of young men suddenly looking up and seeing my face.

I could actually kick boost the entire world's counselling community. Like really be counselling around the world would go up because I'd create so many new clients. That's a good idea.

Anyway. Thank you, Leah. My my top does look cute.

Thank you very much. I appreciate that. It's, it's, I don't know what is it.

It's kind of bowling alley t shirts, I think or Hawaiian shirts for the less slim men like myself. Macy's are handsome. I know.

I realized a lot of nice things you're saying is probably just being maybe being rude, but it's okay. I don't mind. I'll even take false compliments at my age.

I don't care. Honestly, I'm genuinely you know, I'm fine with that. So I normally say please only listen when you can safely close your eyes but I won't do that because it's not that recording.

This is unless you're listening later on, because this will be available as a podcast. And the video won't be available just just the audio. So I just realized I should have just record.

I couldn't be bothered to make a video to be honest. It sounds bad, but it was a lot of Leah says I want me to thank you. Thank you, Leah.

I tell you what it is. Sometimes serious is hi Jason. Hi.

Sometimes I get people and I've not been on I've been on social media for a long, long time, long, long time, longer than maybe some people are even been alive like they use this app. But so I've seen so many and heard so many insults over the years, like on YouTube, not so much Facebook, but more YouTube. Because back in because Facebook generally had to have your name and people had to sort of sort of give pictures and you could see who they were kind of Why is there an old man on Tick Tock live?

Viv 00736? You call me old? Well, yeah, compared to you, because you're probably five, aren't you? What are you doing? You shouldn't be on here at your age.

Don't you have to be 16 to be on here? Get back to bed. It's past your bedtime. So next, or it's okay.

The thing is, do what we all do. You go like that. You get down to someone.

And if they haven't got the right face or the right body, or saying the right things or the subject, click. If you go through and you see two, maybe you don't want to see the two blind couple making their dinner again. They might be lovely, but I don't want to see that anymore.

Because I saw it every time I go on to that page. They're making dinner, they're cooking dinner. So you skip through.

Or you don't want to see the magic man that looks like Mr. Bean. Even though he's probably the most popular tick tocker. You skip through.

You see what I mean? So it's just like it's easy, baby. So just skip along. They love you.

They can't skip. Yeah, sure. So the thing is, I might be an old man.

No, I haven't got anything else to add to that. That's it. Yeah.

I wasn't always old. There was a time there was a time when I was young. There was a time when I could I could see if you know, at the crossings, you know, like coming up, keep banging the microphone.

Sorry about that. You know, as you come up to roundabout, and you got the fences, there was a time I would see a fence like that and think, I'd look no traffic, I'd jump over the fence. Now I will walk for 15 minutes if I have to, in order to get around the fence.

Because about 15 years ago, I tried to actually jump over one of those fences. I hurt my groin. In fact, I got stuck.

I'm still there. Help please someone help. I'm just going to read out what's this I'm going to read out things.

If you are a regular listener to our podcast, Let Me Bore You To Sleep. Or my hypnosis recordings because I've got just it might seem like I'm just a random old man on TikTok. But there's a method in what I'm doing.

I've been posting my videos on here for a while. And it gained a bit of traction. Okay, some some of them did one the other day got a couple of hundred views.

And it's just a way of maybe reaching a different audience, a wider audience, as well as Facebook, or YouTube. Why are you mad, says Viv. Viv Vic.

Do you want the short answer or the long answer? I'll give you the long answer. Why am I mad? genes, genetics, childhood, trauma, you name it. There's a lot of reasons why I'm mad.

So yeah, wanna let me join? No. Are you really cute? You are really cute, by the way in a nice way. Thank you.

There was a time when someone says you're really they say to me, are you really cute? And they didn't mean it a bad way. It was almost like there was a time in my life when a compliment was actually a compliment. Not a dig.

You know, like now if someone says oh, I like your hair. I know they're making fun of my receding hairline and my weird hair and I got bald patch at the back. And I got grey and see all that.

That used to be ginger. I was partially ginger. So what else we got a little bit behind the bro stop waffling.

No, that is what I do. So Clint says stop waffling. That is the whole point of my podcast that I'm recording with this microphone.

This mic, the little red one is for tick tock. This is connected to my recording studio behind me. And that's what's recorded my audio for my audio podcasts, which I put on to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, all the main podcast places, and my website, jasonnewland.com. Effie says hello.

Josh says Hello, Daddy. Hi, Daddy. Hi, son.

Years and years I've been wondering, like, where's my son gone? You're gonna feel you always know that you got a son. There's that one time you think you know what? And also I want to tell you my son, your mom was good. Honestly, all that was the best I ever had.

So that's not a good way to introduce yourself to your son that you never met. Just let you know that. You're old to morale.

Good for you. I'm not I'm madly impressed with being old. And so I think it's like it's not old.

I'm old. I'm old. Old.

She is good. That's good. I like Josh.

Bros freaked out. No, this is actually how I am. It's my birthday in 33 minutes.

If anyone cares. Ariane. No, no one seems to care.

It's weird. And I was waiting. I care.

Happy birthday. How old are you? 92? Congratulations. It's got to be weird having your birthday.

Honest on a I mean, I suppose you could like pretend in your head that everyone in the world celebrating your birthday. So 13 allowed to be on this app at 13. Am I allowed to be at at my age? I don't know.

So happy birthday for everyone. Wish Ariane happy birthday. Come on, everybody on there.

Everyone on here just wish Ariane a happy birthday. Come on. Baddie Josh Pierce is back saying call me a baddie.

So I think that's a slang term for highly intelligent, I think. So it's a it's a term that young people use for like super intelligence. If you keep them in.

If you keep them in it weird. Keep them in it. I don't know what that means.

Hmm. So yeah. The thing is, I don't, I don't even know how to block anyone.

This is all new to me. I'm just doing this to introduce myself to the world of TikTok. In a sense of I've been making podcasts for nearly 20 years, 20 years in a few weeks.

So, you know, doing live broadcast is not a new thing to me. But I haven't done it for quite a while. I used to do on YouTube, you should do on Facebook.

I might have even done it on MySpace back in 2006. So long time. So yeah, Happy New Year to everybody.

That's why I'm doing this. I thought it'd be mildly interesting. And also let you know that Vinnie, my little Jack Russell is gonna bark when the fireworks go off.

And I'll try and mute the microphone on the what's it the TikTok. I don't have to worry with this because I can edit it out. Because this podcast isn't live.

So it's just be I'll edit it tomorrow morning probably and post it so it's easy to do. Time consuming, but relatively easy. So is anybody here? I is anyone not wished Arian a happy birthday? She's 31.

Well, he's 31. Come on. Or they're 31.

I don't know what the correct term is these days. But wish wish them a happy birthday. 31 years old.

Come on. Is anybody? Is there anybody there? Has is anybody here for my, for my little gang? For my that sounds weird. And I shouldn't really have a gang at my age.

Should I? You want to be in my gang? Oh, yeah, that's just reminds me of no. Nope, nope, nope. Let's not go there.

Sebastian. If my friend Sebastian was here, he would have a field day. Just hearing me say that sentence.

Do you want to be in my gang? Earlier on, right, I was laying while sitting down. I was just relaxed with Vinnie. He was next to me, lying next to me.

And suddenly, I sounded like someone was in the garden screaming, like screaming really loud. Almost like it was a serious emergency. I don't know why I added the word serious before emergency because you generally don't you don't get like mild emergencies do you? Like oh, it's a it was kind of an amazing.

It was quite a subtle emergency. Corby says Happy New Year just realized we look pretty similar. I'm just seeing I can only see my eyesight's not very good.

Which is why I wear glasses, I suppose. But I can just about see it doesn't look like it's a picture of me. See, I told my friend Sebastian, if he was on here, he would actually probably have a picture of me.

Because he's used pictures of me on his YouTube channel. And he's aged the picture. I doesn't have to do that anymore.

Because I'm now old, but he aged it to when I was like, probably to be sort of 70 or 80. And I honestly didn't even realize it was me. He'd used AI.

This is a few years ago, when AI wasn't kind of really big. For two years ago, probably maybe longer. He might did in Photoshop, to be fair.

Anyway, I was looking at his picture and I realized that in the background was my bookcase. I was like, you so and so. Cool.

This is just a just a joke. Cool. Cool.

Oh, did you change your picture to me? Did you? How did you do that? Well, that is cool. You know, someone said a good joke the other day to me. They said, I was on here.

And they said, What can I ask you a serious question? I said, Yeah, whatever. He said, What does your barber? How does your barber earn a living? What do they do to earn a living? Such a good, good line. But clearly my, my barber would have to be terrible to have hair like this.

It's like, that's really good. I like that. It made me laugh.

It really did. So I suppose if anyone does get in here from my, my group, please say hello and let us know. That'd be nice.

Jamie says, Do I want to know a joke? I'm not sure. I'm not going to read out any, any sentences, by the way, for those four year olds that come on to tick tock. Can you read out? Will you? Will you do a maths debate with me? Trying to get me to read that out quickly.

Shut up. It's a kind of style. I wouldn't have even done that in junior school.

Admittedly, there was no internet back then. But that's besides the point of the only thing I did. No, I didn't even use the phone people up because they all they could do is just do 191 or whatever.

And it would ring you back. So you couldn't kind of do back then you couldn't do like dodgy course. What do you call a plane of bald people? Yeah, I'm waiting.

Right. I'm just I'm waiting for that. Was there colour when you went to school? We talked about colour TVs.

No, it was black and white. We had to actually we had these pedals. It was like a bicycle.

And that that's what ran with the electric motor that shook the whole house. And we had to take turns riding this bike to keep the engine going so we could watch the TV. But it was in black and white.

Yeah. I think that that didn't come into like mine probably about 10. Before that, we used to take turns doing shadow puppets on the wall to entertain each other.

That's great. receding airlines. Oh, that took a long time to get that punchline.

Receding airlines. I swole. Oh, good.

There you go. So someone's trying to get me to say it. Hey, dude, says Chris.

Hi, Chris. Hi, Hassan. So, yeah.

Oh, I suppose it's the thing is I did look I've done a little bit of research on there for about two weeks now. Just sort of seeing who's about whether or not it would be suitable for me to do a live. I've been posting my videos for probably a few years, actually.

But I never went live. I didn't have enough to go live. And I still only got like 115 followers or something.

I followed a few probably cut 100 just random people. And I looked around and there are people, okay, it's mainly young people. That's a simple fact.

And I understand why. However, there's a few elderly people older than me, some in their 70s. I'm 55.

So some in their 70s, 80s, even. And people like to talk to them, they come on. And it's like having a granddad, or like having a just, you know, having someone a bit older to talk to.

And there's a bloke on there. He was a former pilot, I think in the war. So no, pretty post war to be fake.

He wouldn't still be alive, would he if he was in the war? Not if he was like in his 20s? Because the war was? Yeah, he's not old enough. He's about 80. So he would have been born after the war.

But he was in the army and stuff within in the Royal Air Force. And what was I gonna say? Some of these comments, these very weird comments have put me off. But so I'm not sure if he's unwell, because some people were saying, I hope you get better soon.

And I don't know. I don't I don't really follow anyone in that way. But I was like, okay, I could see why people were coming back.

Because he was friendly. And it was nice. And nobody, while I was watching his live stream, would be in a route to him.

Maybe it's because he didn't entertain it. Right at the beginning didn't entertain it can be bothered. Because why? What's the point? And there's a thing and you, you may realise there's something all different.

But I've noticed from us this from a personal perspective, I know other people have said it as well. As you get older, you stop kind of putting up with with things that you don't need to no longer have conversations, you don't need to have them with or with people that you don't want to have them with as well. That makes sense.

Become a little bit more fussy who your friends are a little bit more careful, bit more deliberate who you spend time with. Yeah, everyone's gone now. I feel so lonely.

See what happens is people just scroll in and see me thinking, uh, scroll down, scroll down. But then I might come back again thinking. And then scroll down again, scroll down, and then come across me again like don't know why is he there? Why is he he shouldn't be on Tick Tock shouldn't he be in an old people's home? Shouldn't shouldn't he be talking about the war?

Shouldn't he should be? Oh, no.

Hmm. But yeah. This is me.

I don't know if I'm going to continue doing these Tick Tock things. Because it seems to be a waste of no waste, but it's not being recorded. The audio has been recorded, but the video has not been recorded.

And I prefer the video to be recorded. So I could put it on to YouTube, you know, just for prosperity, prosperity. How long have we got to do years? It's 1142.

So I've I don't know what I do. Figures. Do you notice that at midnight, sending texts is quite difficult, quite difficult.

Very much so. Okay, I've got two new, two new followers. Thank you.

Thank you very much. So I've not really done much today to Vinnie out twice. He went out of his friend.

He's got another dog friend that he went out with to get together today. So they don't get on indoors. But they get on really well outdoors, to the point of sniffing each other.

You know, dog behavior. I don't that's called dogging, isn't it? I don't know. And the indoors, they fight over the humans.

They don't like to share they want to be getting all the attention and stuff like that. So any questions? So I suppose what I really would like to do, I'd like to say a big thank you to everybody that is that has been listening to me, and supporting me over 2025. And following my little journey, my life.

And just Yeah, it's been nice. It's not been nice. It's not all been nice.

But it's been it's, it's, it's been eventful. And I'm sure for everyone, it's been eventful in parts this year, the last 20 minutes. Depending where you live, of course, you might already have celebrated the New Year.

But I'm in the I'm in the arc. You might be in the US. And so I don't know what the time is it six hours difference.

He x r, a, e, c, e, I don't know who that is. Trying to think what you doing, mate? Hi, George, what am I doing? I'm just talking really, I'm recording my podcast. And with my microphone, it's just there.

And I'm just doing it on live tick tock, because I've invited my listeners to come and kind of join me into the new year. But I don't think anyone has yet. So but in all fairness, I gave people no notice.

I perhaps would have been better off doing this on Facebook. You know, I would have had a I would have had an audience watching me. Maybe not a huge audience, but I'd have had people that at least know who I am saying you're talking to me.

I don't know, I just I think this is quite a novelty for me. So because what, what I'm trying to do, what I have been doing for nearly 20 years, is just relaxing people, helping people to relax, helping people to sleep, helping people to reduce their chronic pain, helping to reduce anxiety. As well as a hypnotist, I'm also a qualified counsellor.

I did three days three years degree in counselling, and practised but I don't anymore. So I've got a little bit of experience. And also I'm really old, as you can tell.

And with all that combined, and also meditation practice that I had for a long time. It's kind of you know, can I join and be counselled? No, I'm not going to counsel anyone. But I did I did wonder.

But I would say if you do need counselling, there's a lot of online things you could go to, and definitely pursue it, or contact your doctor, your GP, and ask for the help you need. So I don't want to be flippant and say no, I'm not gonna do it. But you know, I'm not.

But I did wonder about doing something like that. Having a couple of hours on Tick Tock and just invite people to come and talk and I could like listen. There's probably people that do that on Tick Tock isn't there? ATG 261 says can I be hypnotized at least can't really do hypnosis on here because there's gonna be people listening to this, or watching this on Tick Tock, while they're doing stuff that, you know, you have to be able to close your eyes in order to have hypnosis.

Can I do something I am doing? This is hi Dylan. This is actually what I do. It might seem strange.

But what you might find after listening to me just waffling on for a period of time, do you actually feel more relaxed? And you might think, why is that? And it's because you know, if you look at the title of my podcast, Let Me Bore You To Sleep. That's the title of my podcast. And it's not just about sleeping, it's about relaxing.

It's about calming down. It's about your mind slowing down. You see what I mean? You get me? So it's not, I'm not going to sit here and juggle.

You don't want to see that. I'm not gonna, I saw the worst. I've seen some really weird lives.

There was someone, let the kids figure, Joel Drummond just put something on there. And it was supposed to be probably like a, an attack at me, but actually made me laugh. Oh dear.

Bro, why didn't the toilet paper cross the road? I don't know. Come on. Tell, tell Uncle JJ.

Why? Why didn't it? Frankie says hi. Hi. Is anybody here from my group? Cheers, pal.

Happy New Year. I don't get it. Oh, sorry.

I thought that was the thing. Sorry. Because it got stuck in the crack.

Have you ever seen that? I've seen that. I've seen this. When I used to work in a nightclub, this lady came out of the toilet.

And she literally had toilet roll sticking out of her trousers and following her like as a trail, almost like a wedding dress. And people were just laughing at us. So I kind of went over and helped her out.

I just let her know. But it was funny, but at the same time, it's like, but the way she was walking with such dignity. It was very funny.

Matilda says, what's up, mate? I don't know. So there's so many people on here tonight, because obviously it's the busiest, probably one of the busiest nights of the year, I guess. And why aren't you all out watching the fireworks and getting cold and being waiting for buses and trains? Oh, I wish I was out there in the cold.

Although I will have to take Vinnie into the garden soon. Or how long have we got till midnight? Seven minutes. So basically, I'm going to be celebrating New Year's Eve with a bunch of strangers.

No offence. I thought some of my people would come on here. Not, not the people that follow me on here, because no one really knows me, anyone that follows me.

One person, Laura. Happy New Year. You trying to drop me a follow, I suppose.

I don't know what it says. So Happy New Year to everyone. I need to get I suppose I could, I could have done a Facebook at the same time, couldn't I? A Facebook stream at the same time.

I'm still touching that mic. I think it's the static for the microphone. Because I feel like I'm like touching it, but I don't think I am.

I can feel, feel, feel it. So yeah, so that's why I'm on here doing this. So yeah, thank you to everyone that's going to listen to this podcast, you know, afterwards, maybe tomorrow.

And I do appreciate your support. I really appreciate all the listeners, the 1000s of people that listen to me. And I said it before is the reason it's what gets me out of bed.

If it wasn't for the podcast, and Vinnie, there'd be no reason for me to get out of bed. So thank you. I appreciate that.

So those watching on TikTok, I'm talking to my, I'm talking to my people, baby, my peoples. But yeah, it's I'd like to do more stuff next year, more recordings, maybe more videos, I don't know. Just have to wait and see what happens really.

But I don't think this recording is going to be very long. Because I didn't start it till after 11. I'll still go on for a little while after 12.

So it should, I like my podcasts to be at least an hour. Generally, sometimes at 50 minutes, sometimes at two and a half hours. You know, depends really.

Four minutes. Dylan, you're good at this countdown. Four minutes to the fireworks have started already.

What you're going to hear I want you now, just warn you ahead of time, Vinnie is going to be barking really loud. It's not going to affect the podcast because I'll just edit it out. But I can already hear the fireworks in the background, even though it's not midnight yet.

The fireworks have been going on since seven this evening. Oh, I forgot that was there. I was just thinking, as I often do, Laura.

Is that Laura? Laura? Hi, Laura. See, see one of my one of my gangs in the in the room. Hi, Laura.

Happy New Year to you. And it's me. I basically I don't know Laura, if you know, I posted on my Facebook group that I was going to be doing this, but I left it really at the last minute.

So you're the only person in on the live, and there won't be a video at the end of it either. Just be it'll be the podcast the audio. So I didn't really have time to set up any kind of video stuff going on.

I'm gonna pop out for a minute to go kiss my little girl. But yeah, okay, I'll still I'll still be on it for a little while. Thanks, Laura.

And but just let everyone know, remember, see Sarah's writing down something. Don't really know what that. Well, that's about horrible.

I think I'm not sure. And Laura's one of my followers on my podcasts. So I don't Sarah needs blocking.

I think I'll be honest with you. Okay, yes. Look, I don't know how to block people.

And I wouldn't take any notice because what I've noticed, this is for you, Laura, what I've noticed over the years, and I've been doing this long time now, is usually, it's like tiny little kids that write all this horrible stuff. And if you remember, I talked about this, I had I had someone calling me names on YouTube, really been really vicious to me. I went on to their YouTube channel.

And it's literally this. And he was called he was saying I was overweight, and or fat and all this stuff. And I looked at his video in his and it's basically him playing computer games.

There's a video of him playing computer games. And he's probably twice my size. And he was just stuffing food and everything into his mouth while he was talking.

And I thought, Oh, well, doesn't really matter. It's just words. And they don't, if the person knows you, then I think it means something if you don't know.

But I understand if if I don't want anyone getting upset. So please, you know, if there's anyone on here being rude, just chill out, man. That's not what this story is about.

It's not all my life is about. You know, if you want it, if you want to spend your time doing stuff like that, go do it. I'm just going to put my phone on just in case I get a phone call.

I probably won't. But my dad is a party. But occasionally if he's he might call me but I don't want to call him so don't interrupt his party, you know.

But he might give me a call. Happy New Year, everyone. Each one of all of us.

And that goes to everybody, everybody that's on this page, regardless of what you've written down. If you've been rude or horrible, or if you'd be nice. Happy New Year to you.

Good luck to you. And I wish I wish well for everyone. So just, you know, chill out, man.

We wish you a Happy New Year. We wish you a Happy New Year. We wish you a Happy New Year.

And Happy New Year. It's weird, Vinnie. Now that the barking, he's been barking, but now that the bark is gone, the fireworks continued, Vinnie's kind of not bothered by it anymore.

Weird. Can you hear that? I think what I might do is I might leave all this in in the recording. And just have it as like a special New Year's Eve includes fireworks.

So it's not really going to be a sleep recording for people to listen to the podcast. I could do two versions, one with one with fireworks, one without. I don't know.

We'll see. I used to live in this place. And moved out of there in 2004.

But it's like three or four stories up. And it overlooked the park. The park was miles away, but overlooked.

So whenever there was a firework display, like in the summer, or New Year's Eve, it was like the whole sky was free to just watch it. Because those trees in the way and it was like, wow, brilliant. Also, when there was a thunderstorm, like lightning was very, very frightening.

That was great. I loved it. 2026, everyone.

Congrats. Well done. We made it.

We finally got here. I'll be looking forward to this for minutes. Minutes and minutes and minutes.

Anyone sent me a text? Yes. Oh, I got a lovely message. Thank you.

I'll reply to that later. So yeah, Happy New Year, everybody. Everybody.

Happy New Year. I wonder if anyone's said anything on Facebook because I don't know if anyone's even seen the posts that I posted. Let's have a look.

Let's have a look. Let's have a look. Sorry, I'm just having a quick look at my phone.

My phone. Where are we? Oh, okay. There's a reaction from Laura.

So thank you. There's four. Oh.

Hope, Laura, Cheryl and Maria. So I don't know if anyone's come on here other than Laura. You said you've been waiting for this since March.

You're about to get one. K says Ruby lad. Rugby lad.

I'm about to get one K. Okay, cool. Thank you. I've been waiting for this since March.

I'll be honest. And Laura, you might, I don't know if you know if you remember that what happened in the summer in my little world, but I've kind of been I'm kind of Yeah. Since August is kind of in a way.

I'm happy to see the see the backside of perhaps not the right way to describe it. But you know, say goodbye to 2000 and 15. But at the same time, 1525 Wow.

But at the same time, I don't want to wish time away. I don't have time to wish away. So I want to try and for me, it's not about making New Year's resolutions.

Although I guess if you make a resolution, if you decide to do something and make a change, that is a resolution, isn't it? And if you do it New Year's, then it's technically your New Year's resolution. So me saying I don't make New Year's resolutions. But here's what I resolve to do right now for the New Year, which is a New Year's resolution.

So it's just contradicting myself. But I don't do New Year's resolutions. So I'm saying, but why I'm thinking about doing next year.

And I'm deciding to do it tonight on New Year's Eve or New Year's Day now is Wow, okay, Laura. Yeah, I'm not sure I appreciate the new bit. But hey, do you mean I've got loads? It's yeah, I was my dad had treatment in the same time as Uncle sausages.

So like July to August time. And really well, okay. And that was weird.

But I didn't see him until after he'd had the treatment. He didn't want me to visit him for whatever reason. But I think it all depends on what the treatment is, isn't it? His was it wasn't what you had.

It was the other one. That makes sense. There's two things in there.

He had the radiation. Radiotherapy. That's a lot of fireworks.

Blimey. With my dad, he has he has got a whole family where he is. And so he's not on his own.

He's married. He's got grandchildren and all that kind of stuff. I'm just not near where he is.

I wanted to go and see him but he didn't want me to So yeah, it's just just the way things are sometimes, isn't it? I think is because of his not so much his age, but a lot of like, I've noticed people that were born just after the war. And I know I'm generalizing, but a very kind of quite, quite tough exterior. And his attitude is, what's the point of visiting?

What can I do? What what is the point? When for me, it's not about what I can do to help.

It's about just being there for my dad, just physically being in in the room, or outside the waiting room, you know, while he's having treatment. But he, he didn't see it like that. And but he had that support.

So yeah, I'm getting all serious now. But it's fine because he's I kept trying, you know, phoned him up and made sure he was okay. And you know, I'm, I'm in a taxi, if he needs me, I'm there.

You know, anytime, day or night, I'll be there within like half an hour, or an hour probably, to be fair. So wow. But it seems to have done the trick seems to have helped.

I just hope the weird thing is like, he's, he's 80. Now, nearly. I can't even imagine being 80.

Even though he's 26 years older than me. I'm 55. He's 79.

And even though a lot of people, especially on here and that would be like, oh, you're old, you know, man. 79, 80 just seems like really old. But then Uncle sausages was he turned 79 when he was in hospital.

By the way, Uncle sausages was Vinnie's uncle. And he lived opposite me and he had to go into hospital. At the end of June.

And yeah, he left us beginning of August. And he used to call he used to call Vinnie sausages. And Vinnie used to get excited and we call him Uncle sausages, because he would give Vinnie sausages, he's sticking through the door for the letterbox.

It's take sausages through the letterbox for Vinnie. And sometimes, and I didn't even realise he was doing it. I'd be sitting here.

And I'd hear, I'd hear voices in the hallway, like outside my front door. And I'd hear like a voice but then I hear like, as Vinnie, I think. So I'd go out and look and he'd be talking.

And Uncle sausages was the other side of the door having a conversation with him. You want to have any sausages? Okay, Uncle sausages, you're right. He got his sausages for me.

It was I thought was cute, actually. And what we would do is we would open our doors and he would run between the flats, Vinnie would not Uncle sausages, because he was nearly 79. And I think running was probably not in his repertoire anymore.

Nor is it mine. Happy New Year, Laura. Dylan, Happy New Year.

Happy New Year to everybody. And so I, I'm kind of, I realise I'm waffling on. But it's Yeah, it's a weird one.

I do think Laura, if in a situation like that, I kind of almost wouldn't want anyone to know, just for me, because I'd be worrying about them then. Like, how are they doing? How, how is, you know, if I got unwell, how would my dad handle that? And why, you know, and it's probably quite selfish of me. But, you know, he, but on the same side, he would need to know, wouldn't he?

I don't know.

So but yeah, so that's weird. So start the new year, two new tenants in this in this block now, one downstairs, one upstairs. So my friend downstairs, we had someone new came in for about just over a year, then she moved out and another person moved in.

And Uncle sausages was living there since about 1998. And then you know, he was he's moved out now. He's gone.

Yeah, gave me a lot of lot of things to think about. A lot of things to think about. During that period, just about the future.

And, you know, without getting grim and that just, I've never been at a funeral where there was only four people before. And one of those people was actually holding the funeral, they were the one doing the ceremony. So three people in the audience, I know, technically, it's probably not an audience, but there was more more more pallbearers than there were people at the funeral.

I mean, I just don't know why, why couldn't I just sat around and just try to fill the place up a bit? Yeah, it gave me a lot to think about. Because there's a lot of similarities between me and Uncle sausages. In a sense of, we live alone, haven't got married, don't really have any family of our own.

No kids, no grandkids, no. Just do what we want when we want kind of, I mean, within limitations, obviously, but I don't know if I fancy the idea of having a funeral with no one there. I know I won't like know about it.

But it's a weird conversation to start the new year on, isn't it? I got an idea of shooting it down, didn't realize that it's all planned. What should I talk about in the new year? Let's talk about funerals. Oh, dear.

But yeah, it's I've been to a few and I've never been to one with just four people before. And I think he was a lovely bloke, but he a lot of the people that he knew lived in another country and they were also old or not here anymore. So that's another thing, isn't it? Just because I got I might know people now, but if I get to be that age, they might not be around anymore.

And if my dad's around, it will be 106 years old when I'm 80. But with AI, maybe it's possible. I do hope.

I do, I do, I do, I do. Oh, some people have sent some messages. Happy New Year says Harriet.

Aish says hi, Happy New Year says Dominic. I'll come to your funeral says Laura. Thanks, Laura.

It's very kind. I hope it's not for a very long time. And also, the thing is, if something happened to me, no one would know about it.

Like, you know, my family would know about it. But no one would think to tell anybody. So you know, there's gonna be people.

I'm not saying I've got a huge audience, but people spread around the world that listen to me regularly, might be thinking, I wonder what Jason's doing? He hasn't made a recorded for a while. Where's juicy JJ gone? Maybe he's taking a break. And then after a few months, was it not knowing what's going on? And I feel like not one person, I don't think would do anything or even think to do anything.

Because they're not interested in what I do online. It's I know, in a sense, it won't matter to me because I'll be gone. But I like to think that, you know, because my website's got all my stuff on it.

But once that runs out, and all the podcasts, once that subscription runs out, everything will be deleted. So the last 20 years of work will just be gone. Like I wasn't, yeah, I just be gone, like I didn't was never here.

So in a way, I suppose I need to do something, maybe a will or something, just to make sure that doesn't happen. So that my recordings because I think some of them are quite good. I've got I've made some decent recordings a few times over the last two decades, that are like worth listening to in the future, I mean.

So it'd be nice maybe to have, I don't know. I'm not quite sure how to go about it. Yeah, I'll give it some thought.

But it just seems a shame to give you write a book. It's published. And it stays, doesn't it? Unless, you know, every original copy gets destroyed, and, you know, it's gone forever.

Or it's a digital book. And eventually, you know, no, no physical copies are made. So maybe that could also disappear.

But generally, if you if you have with something like that, or if you make a movie, or I don't know, it's kind of almost stays around, or you create a piece of music. But then in a way, it has to be popular, doesn't it? Because I'm sure there's millions upon millions of songs that have been written, you know, songs written, recorded, that will just be lost. Live will end in five minutes.

It's just checking I'm a real human being. Unfortunately, I'm an alien, but hey, that's fine. So I would love to stay all night, but I'm so tired.

Because I've got a problem with six hours. You know, the amount of times I've heard that in the past. I'd love to stay the night, but I'm really tired.

That's all right. Go to go to sleep is getting late. The thing is, I'm normally in bed earlier than this.

But this week, and I don't know why this week leading up to New Year's. I've been going to bed later and waking up later. I don't know why.

That was a boring sentence. So thanks, Laura. Enjoy the rest of your New Year's Eve.

I'm going to stay. I'm going to stay on the stream anyways. Oh, yeah.

Okay. Happy New Year. Happy New Year to everyone.

I'm going to I was talking to someone. And I was saying about how addictive TikTok is. And it is.

Especially I'm not into drama, and I won't entertain it like in my own life anymore had enough of it. But sometimes, sometimes, UKK, Louis, Happy New Year, thanks. Some I will, I've gone on because I've only been looking at the lives for a couple of weeks.

I've gone on and I've seen some like big kind of drama unfolding. And it's like watching telly. The thing is, there's always a big bit missing.

But if you get the drama, you get one person's side of the story, but you might get the whole thing. Then you get another person's side of the story. And then you have to kind of fit it together and kind of make up your own idea.

Guess what the truth is. Because you never get the full truth from both because you get just perspectives. Their truth, but a perspective, you know, so I with the tick tock, don't even you don't even get both sides.

And you only get like part of the story. The part that's happening now. There was someone earlier this morning or early afternoon, having this big conversation about someone that she'd befriended.

And I really didn't know really what was going on. And I just I came on a couple of times throughout the day. And this person was still talking about it, but it had evolved.

And it had gone in a look like he'd gone in a different direction. And I was like, I was interested. I still didn't know what was really on what was going on about you know, what was being talked about.

So I guess I was filling it in with me own with my own brain. And I just, yeah, that's the thing. I said earlier, it's like I've just seen and heard so much stuff over the years.

It's kind of hard to be shocked, to be fair, just by what people say. I'm not saying I'm never shocked, but I've just heard so much stuff, seen so much BS over the last 500 years I've been alive. 500 years.

I'm so proud of my little puppy down there. Not a sound, got through the whole of the fireworks with hardly any barking, a little bit of barking, but not a lot. This is probably the second time that I haven't watched the fireworks on TV in a long time, a long, long, long time.

Because normally I don't go out don't do anything. I used to my New Year's Eve when I was in London would be at the comedy club. I was at the comedy club New Year's Eve 1991 1992 1993 because I had a girlfriend then 1994 or not 1995 because I had a girlfriend then as well.

1990 I don't think I went 96 because I was working in security so I was probably working that night. But then 1997 1998 1999 2000 2001 2002 2003 2004 no not 2003 I didn't go but 2004 I did probably 2005 I didn't go 2006 I had a girlfriend then I don't know if I went 2007 2008 I would have gone 2009 probably 2010 I don't know if probably didn't go 2011 or 2012 or 2013.

So yeah probably last time was about 2010 was the last time I went out on New Year's Eve.

15 years ago. Wow. I like cute girls.

I like that's funny. I don't know who this is. I like cute girls who talk to themselves like you.

Thank you. I don't often get called a cute girl but I'll take it. Thank you very much.

Oh, I can almost feel myself lactating with happiness. Thanks. I mean, the comedy club's not there anymore.

By the way, this is what I do. I talk to myself. This is what I do.

I just talk. It might sound weird. But that's what I do.

I just that's what I'm doing. I'm recording a podcast. So even though this might seem completely pointless to those watching on TikTok, for me, or for my listeners, this might be quite relaxing.

Although it's not quite the sleepy podcast that it might be. If I leave the or if I include the fireworks I think I might have to take the fireworks out. Unless I do to do a version that includes the fireworks.

But that's going to be a shock because I think people listen to me regularly and naturally your mind slows down. Any anxiety you have kind of starts melting away. Your shoulders get loose and just generally, you know, you feel calmer.

And you might not know why but it feels nice. So you don't really question it. It's not like, oh damn it.

I'm bloody relaxed now. You're not going to sort of start going, you made me all calm and peaceful. You're probably not going to do that.

But people that listen to me regularly might, there's almost a sense of expectation, potentially, that by listening to me, and my boring voice, that they're just going to relax. Maybe by having fireworks mid recording is not a good idea. Not kind of fair, really, is it? Oh, Chrissy, one of my this Chrissy, my listener, my money.

Hi, Chrissy. Laura's been on air. So it's only Chrissy and Laura.

Happy New Year, Juicy JJ. All the very best for you and Vinnie for Christmas. Thank you, Chrissy.

I appreciate that. See, I have got friends. All these people coming on air thinking I'm talking to myself.

No, I'm not. I've been talking to two people now. Two.

Chrissy, they didn't believe me. They don't believe I don't think anyone believes that I do podcasts. They think I'm just on here.

Just talking to myself for no reason. I kind of kind of I am, I suppose. But you know, this here microphone, that's where the magic happens behind me.

When I finish this. I'll pop that into the internet and it'll be like magic. I don't know.

I think I'm probably a lot more relaxing if you can't see my funny face, maybe. Because when you got your eyes closed, you know, I'm not saying close your eyes in case you obviously do another stuff, but it kind of people can sound different when they got their eyes closed. When you don't know what they sound like.

If you if you talk to someone on the phone. I mean, I was pretty successful when I had a phone job. And it wasn't like a premium number.

You know, I wasn't like nothing like that. It was just like sales. Insurance actually.

I got on very well with a lot of people. Because talking on the phone, I found very easy. Although it's, it's harder if you're there, if you're doing it for a reason.

Sometimes I forgot I was supposed to be selling car insurance. And I end up being just chatting about nothing. And some of my calls lasted for over an hour.

I think the last the longest phone call I ever had was about an hour and 50 minutes. And they took me into the office and said, this is unacceptable. I said, Oh, no.

I said, I know you're talking about I'm sorry, there was someone in a cubicle, I had to do it in the sink. I said, what? What's all that phone call? What phone call? The hour 50 minute phone call? What are you talking about? Nothing. Okay.

Wow, that was close. So they said, the sink situation came up later. But of course, I didn't mention that I just moved on.

Got another job. So I took less phone calls and everyone else, but I had more sales. Like conversion wise.

So Albert Burton says, is it you saying to me be quiet? Are you really? Albert Burton? Are you talking to me there? I don't care. Be quiet. No one cares little bro.

Well, I'm not your little bro, obviously. I'm only a little bro to two people. And they're both old.

Imagine it. Can you imagine someone older than me? Wow. Oh, no, I should be quiet.

I feel intimidated. I should be quiet now. Oh, yeah.

It's funny. I don't know what the, what's the kick? Is it kicker? Kick? Is anyone? What is that? Kickstart or kick? I'll be on kicker 12 o'clock so I will. And what was that? Someone was told someone say that a while back.

Join me a kick on 12, 12 o'clock I'll be on kick for two hours, 12 to two. I think he was from Denmark. And if anyone, anybody, any comments? Any other comments? Anyone? Come on.

Give me a comment. Give me a comment. Kind of strange that I've actually had people watching the whole time.

Pretty much that I've been doing this like to die, which makes me think that there's a lot of very bored people. What you might find good is if you if you put your phone down or your iPad down and you just listen to my voice, it can be it might be quite nice background sound. So you can do other things, but you can just it's almost like white noise, I guess.

You know, I mean, Chris says, Have you had fireworks and did it bother Vinnie? Yes, and yes. I had fireworks initially around seven or eight. And he went out of his mind, absolutely lost it.

And I was trying to pick him up and he was growling at me. Eventually, I managed to pick him up and cuddle him. And I cuddled him on the sofa for about half an hour.

And he stopped shaking to shaking. So I suppose the fact that I said he stopped shaking meant that he was shaking before that. Otherwise, you can't stop doing something you weren't doing, can you? You know what I mean? And then he calmed down, had a bit of fireworks, probably about 10.

And he was like, but not so much. And then fireworks came on, I think about 20 past 11. And I intermittently not not a lot, but you know, every like 10 minutes, maybe 15 minutes in the background.

And it was a little bit like, yeah. And then there was Yeah, at midnight, or just before midnight. There was a lot more.

And he did bark. Then he he kind of calmed down. He was just looking good.

He called it up to my leg, like sat on my foot. And he just seemed to be observing, almost like he went into some kind of meditative state of just okay, it's just sound. I got my daddy here.

I'm sitting on his foot. It's not going anywhere. Because I'm sitting on his foot.

And he seemed peaceful. And he's been fine since he's asleep now underneath. He's still lying on my foot.

He's just underneath the desk. So it's almost like he got used to it. You know, so will wants me to say, Hugh Janus.

Obviously wants me to set quickly. So it sounds like a naughty word. Oh, oh, can't say that.

Karen says Hello. How are you? Thank you. I'm good.

Thank you to everyone that's joined. Yes. Hello, Jason says K Dean, Kaden.

By the way, I might mispronounce your name. It's not through meaning to not usually. But I can't pronounce Kaden.

I can't even spell the word weird. I did a podcast last night. And weird was in the word, weird health trends.

And I spelt weird w i e r d. But it's not it's w i r d. But by the time I realised I spelt it wrong. I'd already done all the titles. All done.

And I couldn't be bothered to change them. So I just left them as they are. Now that is laziness.

K Dean, no worries, it's pronounced Kaden. Like Kaden, but Kaden. Hi, Kaden.

There's a lot of different ways of spelling or pronouncing. Although I'm noticing I might be wrong here. Some older, older names starting to come back.

I know someone that called their dog Doris, like a puppy, Doris. And beautiful little puppy. But all puppies are beautiful.

And then let's face it. And Doris, I don't know, she's such a it's not, you know, it's quite an old fashioned name. But then some, some names like Rose, Rose is like a very old name, but still quite popular, I think.

As I was saying that last sentence, I realised I don't know one person called Rose, I never have. And I'm starting to doubt myself thinking why did I even say that sentence? It was meaningless. And I didn't believe it when I said it.

I literally as I was saying it, I didn't believe it. Why am I lying? It's not really a lie, is it? It's just, I'm kind of unsure whether or not it's true. I'm not personally not like trying to deceive people into thinking that, you know, the new fashion is to call everyone Rose.

So if you're listening to this, and you're in hospital, and you've just had a baby, and you think, let's call it, let's call that's really fashionable at the moment. Yeah, I mean, let's face it, don't take fashion advice from someone wearing this shirt. You don't take fashion advice from an old man like me.

No, no, you don't. No. So what's the time now? If I had any other 42 minutes past 12.

How can I be talking this long? This seems to have gone quicker. To be fair, this seems to have gone quicker than when I do a normal podcast. That's weird.

Caden says even fashion for the 90s is coming back like baggy jeans are really popular. Wow. You know what? I wear kind of baggy.

I wear tracksuit bottoms a lot of the time. Well, all the time now. Actually, I used to wear trousers.

Because I work in offices and stuff like that. Or when I was a counselor, I'd wear trousers and a shirt. Never wore a tie at work.

I did, but not, you know, generally outside of that. Weddings, funerals, and then office work. And when I moved here, I put on a bit of weight.

And I was still wearing my trousers. And I had my little ferret, Andre. And I had to, I think I went to pick him up.

And I heard split and my trousers split right down the back. And like really loud. And there was someone standing behind me.

And I was like, Okay, this isn't good. So I went and put my other pair of trousers on. And then the same thing happened.

Not the same day, but a few days later. But it happened right when it was people about. So I thought, Oh, what should I do? Because I didn't see any point me buying more trousers, because I don't work in an office anymore.

Plus, they're not very comfortable. Really, like, like, they can be but I didn't find them particularly comfortable. But they are smart, more smarter than what I wear.

And then I thought, I know what I'll do. I'll start wearing some tracksuit bottoms. But they're quite baggy.

And I've got, I think eight pairs, the same color. And I just rotate them basically, I wear a different pair every day. And I've got some newer ones that are not baggy.

And I look so different. Because I don't have big fat legs. I think people will see my body, my upper body and just assume that my legs are going to kind of be in proportion, but they're not.

I'm not saying I got skinny legs. But when I wear tight, these tight tracksuit bottoms I got in a summer. And look very different.

My lower my lower bottom of me looks different. And my dad's the same. He's always like upper body size wise.

And someone said to me, wow, your legs on us. He said to me, your legs on as fat as I thought they'd be like, okay. I shall take that as a compliment.

You're not as obese as I imagined. Not something you want to hear from your doctor, is it? I think the weirdest thing a doctor ever said to me is, I don't want to give you a prostate exam. Genuinely.

So hey, oh, yeah, then like, so please, can you stand up and pull your trousers back up? That was awkward. And you can book a prostate exam, it will be with different doctor. And also next time, when you're preparing for the prostate exam, can you please wait until you into the in the doctor's room into the office and not in the waiting room.

That was very long, wasn't it? It's a long convoluted ending. Yeah, it's very long. So yeah, I've been talking for a long time.

Is there anyone left here? I know Laura's I think you're still here, but you might have fallen asleep listening to me. Is there anyone here? Chrissy, anyone else? It's now going down now. I haven't had many, but it's been around seven or eight most of the time that I've been on air, which is pretty cool.

I've never had that many before not on here. And you quite often it's just like one person then it just it continuously skips Chrissy Hi, Chrissy. I'm still thinking about maybe doing a 5pm recording a 5pm stream every day, or Monday to Friday anyway.

And record, maybe just record and not Let Me Bore You To Sleep one but a recorder. Let me reduce your anxiety or, you know, so it's not a sleep recording, but it's just exactly the same. But it's on here.

I'll record it as a podcast as well. And maybe film it for YouTube. But it'll be just somewhere that you can calm down your mind, let your mind slow down.

And you can over time watch my receding hairline in real time. I mean, actually, it's receded. As we've been speaking, jazz 123 says stop the yap, bro.

No, bro. Can't do that, bro. I'm not able to bro.

Sorry, bro. That is what this is about. Is it's about the yap.

I've only had one person. Oh, no, I haven't. Okay.

That's what this is about. It's about the yap, baby. That is what I do.

Oh, yes. No one says it's good. Yeah, bro.

Thank you, Caden. I love your hairline. Thank you.

So you've gone from telling me to stop the yap till you love my hairline. See, you've gone from not liking me to really loving me so quickly. It's a quick turn.

It's like, oh, okay. See, and then when Caden tells you that I'm actually a cool, a cool dude, like, okay, we'll give him a chance. I didn't like him.

Now he's all right. It's I've had that in the past where I've like, you know, I meet someone like, but you're in says, but you're not though. How do I get your hairline but you're but I'm not what back in my day, looking.

Yeah, Patron back in my day looking blah, blah. Well, you know, there's an old song he says, there's other places to go. You don't have to stay here if you don't want to.

There's lots of options. I mean, I'll be honest with you. If I was on here right now, there's a hero.

Thanks, Chrissy. If I was on, if I was on TikTok right now, like watching, I wouldn't be watching me. I'll be honest, I wouldn't I wouldn't want to watch me.

I might be intrigued if I hadn't seen me before. I might be thinking, I just probably thinking, who's this sexy man? Who is he? And what a voice, such a calming voice and a kind persona comes across as genuine and actually quite a nice guy, which I okay, this is Yeah, I would sounds like a nice sounds like a nice guy. And maybe ding, ding, ding, ding.

Maybe there's a point to the yapping. Maybe there's some kind of benefit to listening. Because you know, that part of you that's judging me.

You look like this, you look like that. You shouldn't be doing this. You shouldn't be doing that.

You're talking too much. You haven't got enough hair, all that stuff. Now, when you do it outside to other people, you're probably also doing it to yourself.

Yeah, you probably criticizing yourself, because someone else has probably criticized you, telling you you're not good enough, you're not good enough at this. And maybe you've had your whole life having that, which a lot of us do. But then, as you listen to me talk, that that's going, meh, meh, meh, meh, you're talking too much, you're yapping too much, you it's like made of ice and it starts to melt.

Because there's a degree of warmth from a big red face, like a sun that warms that ice melts that ice down. So that anger that kind of because comments like horrible comments don't come from a nice place, let's face it. But we're not just that we're lots of different things.

And then it melts it away. And bit by bit, you start to realize that not only do you not have to feel angry towards me, and be critical towards me a complete stranger, but you can also turn towards yourself and not be critical towards yourself either. Not be angry towards yourself.

Realizing that maybe that voice, those criticisms, whether it's racism, whether it's sexism, whatever kind of hatred it is, doesn't come from you. You weren't born with that you were born a little baby, innocent little baby, you've learned all this stuff. And then you can start to realize that actually, you can have love towards yourself.

And you can feel gentle. And there's something really nice about that. It kind of doesn't necessarily going to happen straight away.

Sometimes it happens very quick, but it can happen over time. And you can get a glimpse of it. You can go from being critical, and wanting to get me to say silly things and wanting to be horrible to me, or whatever.

Not realizing I'm actually a human being a real person with feelings, just because I'm the other side of the screen. And because I'm no longer youthful and whatever, yeah, I can no longer jump over fences or jump up, jump up trees could never jump up a tree. And then that ice starts to melt.

And it's not about being nice to me, or other strangers. Because once you start being nice to yourself, you don't feel the need, I just hit the microphone, you're not going to feel the need to be cruel to other people. Even if it is just humor, which it probably is, to be fair, love is just humor.

And we can also say stuff that, but that's why texting is hard for me. Because if I take something that I think is funny, I know that it can come across as cruel. But if I say it to the person in front of me, they know it's cruel.

No, they know it's meant to be cruel. They know that it's not, it's just like me being silly. The human might not hit, but they know I'm not trying to hurt them.

So yeah, maybe there is some use of me doing this. Maybe I might be some of some use. That's weird, isn't it? I didn't expect that to come out of my mouth.

Caden says, this is so random, but I think you would be a great voice for Tesco self checkout tools. Well said, said Chrissy. You know what, if I could get that gig, but then I have to keep moving around, I would have to stand behind the tools, or like get inside each one.

If they offered if they paid me like loads of money. To be fair, I mean, 300 pound would probably be enough, but they pay me loads of money. So we want to use your voice for the tools into enough.

Yeah, I'd like that gig. Yeah. Oh, that'd be cool.

I do think about doing voiceovers, you know, relaxing voiceovers and stuff like that. But I don't know. I don't think it's needed as much because the AI when I have cloned my voice, so that it's the the there's a thing called 11 labs and it's expensive to do.

And also it's not perfect. But, you know, give it a few years, and probably no one will be able to tell the difference. Maybe people listen to me regularly will be able to tell because the rhythm, the cadence, the pitch, the also the kind of things I say, because if you don't, if you don't know what I'm like, I'm just saying if you don't if you're not like a regular listen to me, you'd be saying stuff that I wouldn't say.

And you'd know straight away. So if I come out with something that was, I don't know, I'm trying to think of something. And so if I start talking about how much I love football, and start talking about a football game, in a podcast, you'll know it's not me.

Because that's not my thing. I love boxing. So you know, but people that have never listened to me before, might come across me for the first time here in a podcast with me talking about football.

He seems to be into Arsenal, but he's ever so boring to listen to. So yeah, AI, that'd be interesting. The thing is, I think there's different ways to address the, the cruel comments.

It's cruel. I think it's something that's just humorous, isn't it? But at the same time, it's kind of like, where's the benefit? But then if that person is just a kid, you know, a teenager, whatever. Because I just like, I don't know what I thought 16 was the age to be on here.

Maybe I'm wrong. I got it wrong. And was that Australia? I thought it was everywhere.

16, you have to be 16 to be because I don't get age checked. Because obviously, because I'm so ancient, I urinate dust. So yeah.

I'm not tired. This is woken me up. Normally, I guess.

What the heck was that? Normally, because if I do, I'll literally just talk about how I'm not tired. And then I became tired and started joining. It's almost like, it's weird.

That times that happens. So I'm gonna go. And I can't believe I'm going to have five people listening.

And I shouldn't really leave you but I have been talking for two hours. And it's gone very quickly. Probably not for the people listening or watching.

But just feels like it's gone quick. I suppose because the highlight of New Year. And there's a degree may be of excitement about what's going to happen next.

You know, what's going to what's going to come is something nice going to happen this year. I really hope so. And I don't mean for me, I mean, just generally, you know, I love, I love hearing good news from other people, like something really nice has happened to them.

It's nice, just nice to hear, or seeing it on the news. You know, just like an actor, like winning an Oscar, just something like that. It's just, just nice stories.

So I'd like to say goodbye to everyone, especially Chrissy and Laura. It's just because they're regular listeners of my podcast. But I'd say also Caden and Ryan and everyone else that's been friendly and nice.

And also anybody else that's watched, regardless of whether you've been friendly or nice. I just appreciate that. You know, we've been able to spend a little bit of time together.

And I might be back. Maybe five o'clock tomorrow afternoon, which will be New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, five o'clock New Year's Day. I think it's five o'clock will be a good time to visit to have like a regular maybe for an hour.

It won't be Let Me Bore You To Sleep because I can't do that when people are watching me. It has to be when you can close your eyes. So I don't know what I'm going to call it.

But it also has to be something that is useful. I want to be useful. I want to be helpful.

And I know it might seem like I'm just talking for the sake of talking, but I'm not. Or am I? No, I'm not. I'm genuinely trying to help.

And because I've been doing this a long, long time, there's this is just what people have told me. And it might simply be because I'm a boring voice. But people, a lot of people, hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of people have told me over the years that listening to me just calms their mind down, slows the mind, reduces anxiety and stress, tension, which helps with exams, helps with just getting to sleep, helps to reduce chronic pain, helps with all kinds of things, medical treatment, just helps people to get through stuff.

Because it's almost like anxiety and stress can't be in the same room as my voice. Or if you think of it as being like ice, because my face is so warm, my head is so warm, the ice can't do anything but melt, which calms your mind down. Does that make sense? And I'm going to go what we got six people.

I'm going to go I can't believe I'm going when I still got all these people in the room. So thank you everyone for listening. And tomorrow I'm going to have to find a way to record this because doing a live session and not recording it seems wrong.

So I'd like to be able to share this on YouTube. Anyway, thank you for listening. Remember to be kind to yourself because you do deserve to be happy.

Be gentle with yourself, you deserve to feel safe. And also remember that you're already enough. You are enough.

And you're going to be okay. Lots of love. Bye.
