Hello hello hello hello Hi. Oh, I've got biscuit crumbs all in my chest hair. What was it, porridge or chocolate flakes? I don't know.

But either way, my diet's going really well. So, hello and welcome to Let Me Bore You To Sleep. My name is Jason Newland, please only listen when you can safely.

Chauffeur, close your eyes. So this is Q&A Friday. It's a day late because I didn't have time to do it yesterday, but there's only one question so it's not really going to be a full on Q&A Friday, if you know what I mean, but you know, give it a go, give it a go, yes.

And I've got one question from Robin. So, before I do that, I've made a few changes, from now on, all my new recordings are going to be 10 hours long, without music, 10 hours long, so that way I can't be copyrighted for anything for using music or anything like that, even if it's copyright free. And the 10 hours long is because even if the recording I'm doing isn't for sleep, it's still the best time to listen is probably when you're going to sleep.

So, I've also got, I've incorporated, I've got a new 10 hour thing, if that makes sense. So there's the recording. And then the rest of the record, it continues playing to the end, you know, till 10 hours.

And I've got some pretty good stuff on there as well. So that's all new, and it's better quality sound and everything. So it should, because the other one was a little bit muffled, I found.

So in it gradually becomes quieter as the time goes by as well. So but yeah, so that's what I'm going to be doing from now on. The I was going to get rid of my website.

But at the moment, I'm not, I just just try and look at ways of my cutting down the costs. But I'll keep it for another month, see, see what happens, but I need to work on that. So at the moment, basically, yeah, that's the latest news I have worked on my website on a different podcast, rather, and all my podcasts are going to be 10 hours apart from those that aren't.

I do, however, don't tell anyone. I do have a podcast called Jason Newland hypnosis. Give me a bit more noise, please, VinVin.

Thank you. Well, I'm going to be posting the regular length of the recording. So I've just done a recording called let go of the past healing from the inside.

Just literally, like a few minutes ago, upload promoted it, you know, uploaded and everything. Or the last hour, the last hour, so. It's 39 minutes and nine seconds long.

That version is on Jason Newland hypnosis. The 10 hour version is on healing from the inside podcast hypnosis for sleeping deeply. And also my relax and sleep hypnosis daily.

They're all going to be 10 hours. So all anything that isn't 10 hours long that I do. Will be on the other podcast.

Well, I won't be doing anything that isn't 10 hours long, but any of the old stuff I'm going to start looking through and adding that to the. The podcast Jason Newland hypnosis. Now, I've not shared that.

With any of the apps, any of the podcast apps, and at the moment, I've only got eight episodes on there. So because, you know. Yeah, the getting to know yourself again, healing, hypnosis, healing from the inside.

That was two and a half hours long. And. I did a few quite long ones recently.

See, it is eight on there. Once I start going through all the other ones and putting them back, you know, in the past on that list, there will be. I guess it'll be hundreds.

Just take a little while to go through that. There will be hundreds on there. So what I might do is.

I'll put that podcast onto the website as well. And I'm thinking maybe on the just have it as a regular length. Jason Newland hypnosis regular regular length so that you'll know it's just a standard or standard length.

Or original. Jason hypnosis originals. That's a good idea.

I like that. So then, you know, that's just the original recording. OK.

And I'll add that to my website. Soon. Soon.

Very, very soon. And then you'll have that. And you'll be able to.

Stream or download it. Yeah, so that's it. I spent two or three days doing this.

So it's quite a bit of work. Updating things, changing logos. And everything like that.

And there's still a lot more to do. I don't know why I keep making more work for myself. The thing is.

Making lots of different versions of a recording. And uploading that to a podcast. Is just harming the podcast.

And the same on YouTube. Making six versions of a recording. Having that on YouTube is harming the YouTube channel.

You know, I get. Sometimes I get like a bunch of people listen. And it drops.

Then it grows. And it drops. And it's continuously.

Instead of just growing slowly. It's sort of growing. Dropping.

And growing a little bit more. So it is growing. But it's really slow.

So I need to have a little bit of. Be a bit more stable I guess. With the recordings.

Plus. Because I'm looking at the. The hypnosis is sleeping deeply.

At the moment there yeah. So I've got. If you look at the podcast.

It's so much easier. To see all the latest recordings I've done. Because when there's six.

All with the same name. But like different lengths. You have to scroll right the way down.

To see what the next one is. If you want to see what I did last week. Or last month.

Literally you're scrolling. And you're scrolling. And you're scrolling.

And eventually they'll just disappear. Because. Among all the others you know.

But now. You can just flick your finger down. Once.

And you're at the beginning of July. Flick it down again. Or up again.

Twice. And you're near the beginning of June. So it's you know.

So like what have I got. One. Two.

Three. Four. Five.

Six. Seven. Eight.

Nine. Ten. Eleven.

Twelve. Thirteen. Fourteen.

Fifteen. Sixteen. Nineteen.

Twenty. Twenty-one. Twenty-two.

Twenty-three. Twenty-four. Twenty-five.

Twenty-six. Twenty-seven. Twenty-eight.

Twenty-nine. Thirty. Thirty-one.

Thirty-two. Thirty-three. Thirty-four.

Thirty-five. Thirty-six. Thirty-seven.

Thirty-eight. So. It's the 18th of July.

And I've done. Thirty-eight recordings. So far.

And. So it's not just doing six of each one. But it's also doing that amount.

And I'm going. My aim is to continue making. More recordings.

I'm not. Just going to do. Do less.

If anything this frees me up to do more. Or to do longer recordings. I want the recordings I do.

Especially with the hypnosis ones. I want it to be deeper. And I want it to be.

More effective. So instead of being half an hour. I'd like maybe all of them to be.

An hour. Or two hours long. Plus the.

You know. The other. Relaxation.

And stuff. Hypnosis. To bring it to a ten.

Ten hours. Is this making sense? I don't know. How many have I done for June? One.

Two. Three. Four.

Five. Six. Seven.

Eight. Nine. Ten.

Eleven. Twelve. Thirteen.

Fourteen. Fifteen. Sixteen.

Seventeen. Eighteen. Nineteen.

Twenty. Twenty-one. Twenty-two.

Twenty-three. Twenty-four. Twenty-five.

Twenty-six. Twenty-seven. Twenty-eight.

Twenty-nine. Thirty. Thirty-one.

Thirty-two. Thirty-three. Thirty-four.

Thirty-five. Thirty-six. Thirty-seven.

Thirty-eight. Thirty-nine. Forty.

Forty-one. Forty-two. Forty-three.

Forty-four. Forty-five. Forty-six.

Forty-seven. Forty-eight. Forty-nine.

Fifty. Fifty-one. Fifty-two.

Fifty-three. So June, last month, I did fifty-three different recordings. So.

So. How many did I do for May? I want to know now. I won't do every month of the year, don't worry.

One. Two. Three.

Four. Five. Six.

Seven. Eight. Nine.

Ten. Eleven. Twelve.

Fourteen. Fifteen. Sixteen.

Seventeen. Eighteen. Nineteen.

Twenty. Twenty-one. Twenty-two.

Twenty-three. Twenty-four. Twenty-five.

Twenty-six. Twenty-seven. Twenty-eight.

Twenty-nine. Thirty. Thirty-one.

Thirty-two. Thirty-three. Thirty-four.

Thirty-five. Thirty-six. Thirty-seven.

Thirty-eight. Thirty-nine. Forty.

Thirty-nine. Thirty-nine in May. I tell you sometimes, when I hear the background sound that Vinnie is doing, it reminds me of Andre.

Especially with the carrier bags, because he used to love playing in the carrier bags. Especially when I was making a recording. If you listen to any of the old Let Me Boy To Sleeps prior to May 2023, no, 2021, sorry.

Anytime before that, you'll hear Andre, quite often, playing in a carrier bag. And there was one time I was on the table over the other side, and that's when I had the wooden table, and I pointed it out, I mentioned what he was doing. He had a carrier bag, he had about, I don't know, three or four carrier bags on either side of the room.

He stationed them, and he just used to run between them, roll around, and look up at me, and then run to the other one. I'm not sure what the heck, Vinnie, what are you, he doesn't normally do this. I've got a bag of rubbish there, but there's something in there he wants, but it's not food, because I don't put food, I don't leave food in bags.

At least I hope it's not, no, it wouldn't be food. It's one of his bones, I tell you what I did, I chucked away a lot of his stuff, just old stuff that's been around for ages, and he just, he had loads of these bone, like, they're made of rawhide, or synthetic rawhide, or something like that, and he had loads of them on the floor. He had like a little graveyard.

So I packed them away, and I chucked them out, I put them into a bag to chuck them out. Now he wants them, in fact now he's eating one, he's chewing on one, and it's the second one under the table as well, so I got rid of all of them, they're all in that bag, and he's been going through them, I wonder how many others he's got out, hidden. He wants what he can't have, I mean his food's over there, he doesn't want to eat it, been out there all day, not touching it, but later on he'll want some food, but he won't want that food, I'll have to give him a fresh pack.

I can understand, like, I wouldn't want to eat food that's been on a plate all day long, but I also won't eat something off the grass which should not be in anyone's mouth. You see, I mean he's super fussy when it comes to the food, but not when he's sniffing other dog's bums, and when he's eating, you know what I mean, it's like, if he finds a dead mole when they've cut the grass over the field, that you find little, unfortunately, little bits of things, he'll eat that, rub himself all over it and eat it, but he won't eat his own food, and it's pedigree chum as well, it's good quality, I wouldn't want to eat it myself, but yeah, it's, I need to let it go, let it go, let it go, so this is so much easier to find things now on the podcast, I mean literally I had two and a half thousand recordings on the hypnosis for sleeping deeply, now I've got 752, but they're just one version of each, I think, I think I've gone through every single one, yeah, I did it yesterday, that's a lot of recordings, and that only goes back to, that doesn't encompass like a huge amount of time either, I mean some podcast apps only go up to 250, but it's still 250 recordings, but you've got some that will go up for the whole amount, but what they won't do is go up to thousands, you know, you might get, you might be able to get up to 800, but you won't, if you've got 3,000 recordings on there, they won't show them all, they'll just get stuck, because it's, I mean even Spreaker, where I host my recordings, that gets stuck sometimes on the player, because there's so many, oh there's a few I need to do still, yeah, so I need to work on that one, so I reckon when I've done that, when I've finished it, they'll probably be about, let's see how far back it goes, just so I've got an idea, 2024, because one of the reasons, you know, I mentioned about the copyright music or things like that, the length with music, I have had to redo my podcasts quite a few different times, but they just basically change the rules, whether it's a podcasting rule, whether it's a publishing rule, broadcasting rule, whatever it is, and I've actually had podcasts deleted, so basically all the podcast episodes have to be suitable for every app, every major app, like Apple Podcasts, Spotify, things like that, if Apple Podcasts decided for whatever reason that they couldn't have a podcast that lasted more than an hour, which it could happen, you know, space-wise, money-wise, whatever, if they made that rule, Spreaker would delete everything over an hour, or they'd warn me, or say you'd have to get rid of everything over an hour, if I didn't do it, they would just delete it, which I think most podcast servers would.

I like Spreaker, but I've lost some stuff with them, but they are also on the same side, they are good, so what I'm going to do to prevent that from happening in the future, I'm not planning, I'm not expecting to have it all like limited to one hour, but to have two things, so to have the main podcast at 10 hours, and then that one podcast which has everything just for the original length, will kind of cover me, if that happens, you know, or if any other changes happen, because that'll pretty much cover me for all eventualities, I would say.

So the first recording I uploaded on this podcast was the 29th of July 2024, so literally it's only been two years, because I had to delete that podcast, because it stopped working, that's another thing, and this podcast stopped working on Apple Podcasts, so it wasn't renewing it, it wasn't, I don't know what the right word, refreshing it, so I had to start a whole new podcast, and I don't really want to go through that again, I'd just rather, hopefully everything will be a bit more organized, and yeah, I think.

Also it's reducing the space I'm taking up, because with Spreaker they've got, let me show you, I'll show you, let's have a look, so they've got different help and support, let's have a look, right plans, if I look at plans, they've got different plans that you can pay for, in fact there's one, no viewer pro plans, okay, so you've got the free plan, which is one podcast limit for the whole account, that's one, but unlimited episodes, but I think there's always going to be like a limit to the degree, but you know, because I've got quite a few podcasts, the broadcaster is unlimited episodes, limited access podcasts and RSS feed, basic embedded player, customization, advanced stats, download counts, daily listeners, listening sources, listeners geolocation, episode likes and followers trend, I think that's the one I've got, if you go over a certain amount, then I'll be put on to, that's what I, well you need to go to Anchorman and then the next one of that is called Publisher, I used to be on Publisher, it used to cost me £70, £75 a month, it's a few years back, I think it's because I had so many, yeah, collaborate, it gives a collaboration feature, better stats, it helps with like promotion and stuff like that, so what am I on, am I on Anchorman, I think I'm on Anchorman, Anchorman, settings, settings, settings, I'm on Anchorman, so mine's €50 or $50 a month, it's about £40 a month, something like that, so yeah, the other ones, just thinking upgrade to a higher plan, just, okay, I'll see how much it is, I'm on Anchorman, what was the other one, Broadcaster, so I'm on Anchorman, the Publisher, yeah, so that's $50, $50 a month, the next one, if I basically had too much stuff, which happened before, used to be £75 a month, it's now £250 a month, so I got like a deal, then it went up to £125 a month, they gave me the 50% off, this was about 4 years ago, I think, and then I came down, I thought, no, I don't need that, I don't, what am I paying the extra for, so, especially when I had to delete a few of the podcasts, and I had less episodes on there anyway, so it was taking up less space, and I wasn't getting as many podcast downloads anymore, because I didn't have as many recordings, so I came down, if I had stayed on it, it would have been £125 a month, but if I went back on it, it would be £250, I'm not paying £250 a month for anything like that, well I can't, so, I'm on the $50, I couldn't be on the $20 a month, because it doesn't support the amount that I've got, so that's where I am with that at the moment, so what I really need to do is find a way to get rid of so many extra podcasts, where I've got like, Let Me Boy To Sleep, £150, and all that stuff, I mean, I don't know, I'll figure a way around it, or maybe, just have, Let Me Boy To Sleep, £1 to £250, and then £251 to £300, no, £251 to £500, and then £551 to £750, and then £751 to £1000, it just makes it less, you know what I mean, because that would make it probably better, a better way to do it, because it can hold even, yeah, 250 recordings, you can scroll down, it doesn't take long to get down from £1 to £250, yeah, maybe that's what I'll do, but not today, never today, everything has to be done a different day, I always say, don't do it today, if you can do it tomorrow, and don't do it tomorrow, if you don't have to do it at all, yeah, on the Let Me Boy To Sleep side of things, let's have a look, what have I done on that one, this is the same, 10 hours, 10 hours long, and I think, if I'm correct, I've gone through all of them, and I've got 877 episodes on there, so I don't have, that's another one that I had to replace and redo, a couple of years back, so I think we'll probably find the same thing, this is about 2 years old, this podcast, there might also be ones I need to kind of, I need to tidy it up as well, but yeah, potentially, but I do have a lot of recordings though, so the, oh blimey, the last Let Me Boy To Sleep I did was, it's almost like I've lost it, okay, is it really 5 days long, wow, 5 days ago, I did a podcast for Let Me Boy To Sleep, that's terrible, am I sure I didn't do one and she's not uploaded it yet, I can't remember, so that was number 1647, so there's a lot, that's a lot of recordings, so to have them on just one podcast means, the reality is, even just one, of each one, like 10 hour version of each one, which there won't be, because for the first 1000, there was no 10 hour versions, but it will be, yeah, I just have to sort of, potentially could, hmm, I'm just talking to myself here, sorry, yeah, oh, no, I know what I did, I added that, I changed it, so I've got the actual date that they were made, 2018, but the reality is, that's not when I uploaded them, I uploaded them 2020, when did I upload them, that's very clever of me, I've synced them so that they're the correct dates, 8th of May, there's got to be one where it's the same date, nope, I've done every one correctly, so that's probably a couple of years anyway, about 2024, that I restarted that one, maybe even last year, yeah, so the Bedtime Storytimes, they're also, yeah, they're not all 10 hours to be fair, I tried to make as much of them 10 hours as possible, but there is a couple that aren't 10 hours, but I can sort that out, and that's it really, Sleepy Boring Objects, I've not touched that one, that's just, well I have, oh I have haven't I, blimey, so that's all overnight, that's like 10 hours, but I started on that and I must have got distracted, but it's mainly 10 hours, but yeah, the last one I did for that one was July 1st, my organisation has gone all over the place, I tell you, what questions do I have, ok, only one question from Robin, well I've got two answers on there, so the first one is from Anne, no question, I just want you to know how much I appreciate you, I cannot fall asleep without listening to your podcast, thank you so much, well thank you Anne, I'm glad that my fall asleep recordings are useful, genuinely, it's what I'm here for, it's what I'm here for, oh yes, and Robin asks, is Jason Newland your real name or a stage name?

P. S. love your podcast, thank you, no, I mean yes, it is my real name, and no it's not a stage name, I never really thought of this as being a stage, or like a, I don't know, so I mean if I went on stage, like literally went on stage, or if I was an actor or something like that, I would have changed my name because it's a little bit rubbish having the first name and the second name, the first name ending with the same letter that the second name starts with, Jason Newland, you've got to kind of leave a gap, or it just sounds like Jason Newland, and I'm not a big fan of, that's just a slur isn't it, that's a mumble, saying two words, you know together at the same time, almost like, it's two different names, not just one name, so when I first went on stage, when I first started doing comedy in 1991, and I wish I had now, I mean I did do it, but I'm saying, I wish I had used the name that I wanted to use, because it was going to be George Bailey, named after It's a Wonderful Life, now I don't think anyone would have really queried it, because it's just a normal name isn't it, George Bailey, some people might have said, oh that sounds familiar, but then other people are like, oh it's for A Wonderful Life, and I said, oh yeah, and I would have kept my name, my name, you know, just kept that separate, I didn't want to use a silly name, like a comedy name, some people did, there was someone who used to call himself Buddy Hill, there's nothing wrong with that, but it's like, I didn't want to have like a jokey name, oh here's a bit of, if you're in the UK, you'll know this person, Harry Hill, here's a bit of information you might not know, ok, I think it was 92, so 91, Harry Hill, it was, he basically, he was good straight away, he was really, really good, and he was on his way, he was signed up with an agency, and he was on his way to being, doing TV appearances, and doing tours and stuff, you know, he was really successful, really quickly, and there was an announcement, and it was in, I think it was just in a Time Out magazine, but they literally had an advert announcing that he'd changed his name, because originally his name was Harry Hall, H-A-L-L, and they said, Harry Hall is now changing his name to Harry Hill, because there's another actor, or artiste, with the same name as him, so therefore he has to change it to a different name, which I never really understood, but there's another comedian called Harry Hall, I don't know, I mean, I'm not the only Jason Newland on the planet, there's a very successful doctor in America with my name, there's, there's an MMA fighter somewhere as well, there's, there's a few, there's not many, like I've googled it many times, way too many times, googled my own name, a bit sad really isn't it, but I'm, let's see who comes up, if I was just, if I go to a private, I go onto a private, so it's a new private window, so they won't know it's me, so I've just put in, put in my name, what comes up, oh, let me bore you to sleep, my website, jasonnewland.

com, and then some videos from YouTube, YouTube channel, Facebook, Jason Mine, Apple Podcasts, Stress and Pain Relief, let me bore you to sleep, YouTube again, and then it comes to Dr. Newland from the National, Nationwide Children's Hospital, and he's at the Washington University, it's St. Louis, or St. Louis, Louis, Children's Hospital and Washington University, so he's the, the second most famous Jason Newland, which is not really fair considering he's saving children's lives, you know what I mean, so he should be at the top, but never mind, I have to just, it's something I just have to deal with isn't it.

Um, Jason, got LinkedIn, but it's saying E13 OAA, well I've never lived in E13, and I don't live there now, so go to the next page, me again, Apple Podcasts, another Apple Podcasts, me again, LinkedIn, so it's Jason Newland, this is the, oh he's a very sexy man, he's got glasses and a beard, balding, bald, it's almost like I'm describing myself isn't it, um, it's him again, then him again, so he's definitely, he's second billing, but he's still, he's still there, then it's me again, Apple Podcasts, Sleep Hypnosis, Apple Podcasts, then it's him again, the Nationwide Children's Hospital, I'd rather be him, to be fair, than me, but, let me bore you, it's me again, me again, YouTube, my YouTube channel, then Apple Podcasts, another Apple Podcasts one, my Instagram, Apple Podcasts again for me, and then Facebook, me again, Apple Podcasts, so, and then Spotify, and then right down the bottom it's him again.

And then the last page, no that's not, it's the fifth page, sorry, it's just more of me, Spreaker, Spotify, YouTube, Apple Podcasts, then, there's a, there's a Jason Newland, I don't know where they're from, it's a, it's a web, a digital designer, created digital designer with over 24 years experience, so I don't know who that is, but hello, brilliant name. And then there's Jason Newland, MD, the paediatrics doctor, and then there's more from him on Google Scholar, then two of me again, Apple Podcasts, and then, ooh, me again, Apple Podcasts, and the one for MusicMatch.

com, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, me again, me again, me again, me again, then him again, then me again, me again, I don't know who that is, it's someone that's involved in air conditioning, but I like your name, me again, me again, me again, me again, that's Apple Podcasts, me again, my website, Apple Podcasts, again, one, two, three, four, five, six, then me again, me again, me again, me again, me again, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, so that's about six or seven Apple Podcasts, and then Mr.

What, and this is where I used to have my counselling practice many years ago, I'm talking 2009, 2010, and then you've got Apple Podcasts, again, then me again, Apple Podcasts, there again, again, again, again, YouTube, YouTube, Apple Podcasts, again, again, again, so yeah, it's kind of the same with a little every old Amazon Music Unlimited, again, it's me, then you go back to the doctor again, so there's quite a few Jason Newlands in the world, and I'm sure there's quite a few online as well, but they're just not, it's probably just because I've been online a lot longer than probably most, if not all of the other Jason Newlands, and there's no one super famous called Jason Newland, I've said my name too often, haven't I, so I'll just say my name, so if a pop star suddenly popped up and they had my name, they would be overtaking all the Google searches, and I probably wouldn't even come up, because it would be, you know, especially if it was someone like Justin Bieber, or Michael Jackson, or Adele, or I don't know, I don't know, I know I'm a little bit out of date, but you know, someone like, or Billie Ulish, or Beyonce, so if my name was Beyonce, that's not a good example, okay, if my name was Billie Eilish, and, you know, at the time that she came out, which was about ten years, twelve years ago I think, when she first like hit the scene, at that point I'd already been doing, I'd be online for like eight years, and I was the number one Billie Eilish, for example, I was the number one my name, within quite a short period of time, if you searched Billie Ulish Eilish, she would come up, you'd no longer see me, I mean I'd probably get a lot more traffic initially, because people, especially as I got the website address, but it's, so initially maybe I'd get more people visiting my website, and, but ultimately, especially as a singer, because people might be thinking, oh it's an audio, and then, can you imagine that, oh it's free, we can listen to this, and then they hear me going, hello, and welcome to, I have no obsession, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah.

I mean, yeah, it'd be a little bit disappointing I imagine, or you reckon, anyway, I'll move out of that, because that's, that's made my point, that's what I thought, but, I feel a little bit, I mean, I don't think I should come up first, I'm not sure if I come up first on all, I mean let's say search engines, let's find all the different search engines, and I can see, search engines, and, search engines, so there's one called duck, duckduck. go, right, I'm just going to put in my name, see what comes up here, apparently you can browse, it's private and it's free, I thought all browsers were free, Jason Newland, this might be different, oh no, it's still me, oh, but then it's going, like surf safe, safe search is, I'm going to say search off, it makes no difference, because I can't get any F in adult, my internet doesn't allow anything adult, not that I'm looking for anything adult of course, of course, but it doesn't allow anything, so basically search safe, even if it's off, it's still on, let me bore you to sleep, yep, I'm at the top, YouTube, then Facebook, Apple podcast, Apple podcast, and then it's the doctor, then me again, then it's the doctor, then it's the doctor again, then it's me again, so there's a bit more of a competition on this one, more results, let's have a look, then it's me, then it's me, then it's me, then it's me, then it's me, then it's me, then it's me, then it's me, then it's me, then it's me, then it's the doctor, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, so it's kind of between me and him, I'm just wondering if it's got what the images come up as, there's more images of him than there is of me, so he's the first image, I'm the second image, he's the third, fourth, fifth, oh there's a picture of him when he had hair, he just looks so different, because he hasn't got hair anymore, oh there's a picture, there's three pictures here, there's a picture when he had hair and he had no beard, then there's a picture of him where he's got like hair at the sides and no beard, and then there's a picture there where he's, yeah, that he's got a bald head, a full beard, but glasses, just looks different, he's, in some ways I think he looks better with a beard, I don't know, not that it really makes any difference to anyone but him I suppose, but oh yeah this is 2026 so he's currently got a beard, that one where he had hair is quite a lot, he's a lot younger there and even on the one where he's kind of got hair at the sides he looks a lot younger, the fact is he might not, he might just shave his head, the sides a bit anyway, it makes no difference, I'm not, look I'm bald in and I've got you know, well sometimes I am bald because I shave it completely off, I've got a bald patch going grey, I asked ChatGPT, I took a picture of myself, I said how old do you think I look, they said well maybe 58, cheeky bugger, 58, so I sent a picture, no I sent a picture of me with a beard, I took a couple of weeks back or a couple of months ago, 58, so I took a picture of me now, they said maybe about 55, without the beard, the beard, the greying beard makes you look old, older, adds age to you and the hair greying adds age to you, and also, and you know what else it said, it said the softer light makes you look better, so what you are saying MrChatGPTTP is the less of me you can actually see, the less clearly you can see my face, the better I look, that's what you are basically saying isn't it, yes, thank you, rude, it's weird though I tell you, looking back, I don't know if I've got any of the old pictures because a lot of the old stuff has now been deleted, oh there is a picture of me, wow, there's a picture of me here, and this is from about, I would say 2010, I think, and I've got hair, I've got hardly any grey hairs, I've got a beard, no I don't have a nicely, you know, presentable beard, trimmed, I can't, doesn't look like there's any grey hairs in the beard either, wow, how can 16 years, surely 16 years can't have that much of a, make a difference, it's only 16 years, I just, I'm an old, I'm turned into an old fart, I mean literally, I don't know when it happened, it's, I don't feel it though, and I know I had a delivery today, and some food delivery, and you know, it was the bloke who was 61 I think, no, he was, he was 50, he was younger than me, he was 55, he was 64, and we were just chatting, you know, about feeling younger than what we is, and it's kind of a common, a common conversation that I've had with people, but I just, there's no solution to it though, there's no, there's no cure for getting old, well there is, but it's not a nice cure is it, I just, I just don't, oh, I mean, I prefer getting old to the alternative if I'm honest, honestly, but, looking old, I don't want to look old, you know what I mean, I don't, there was one video there, and I'm holding a sausage, why am I holding a sausage, and I've got a weird look on my face, like I've done something naughty, very strange, oh, I found one, I found one here, and this is from 2000 and I would say 2000 and I would say 15, I'm pretty sure, pretty sure it's, yeah, I'm pretty sure it's when I first moved in, let go and relax, it's a, it's a YouTube video, because any of the videos which is an actual video, I've left all of those on YouTube, it's, it's a different, it's an actual video video as opposed to a podcast episode uploaded, with those I've kind of tried to stick to the five hours, but any actual videos of any length have stayed on YouTube, because it's a memory isn't it, if nothing else, oh good boy Vinnie, yeah there's this picture of me, and I've got a blue t-shirt on, and I've got a beard, I've got 17 chins, dark hair, can't really see much in the way of grey at all, but then it's not a very big picture, oh well now we're going down, there's no more pictures of me, there's pictures of sports people, hockey player, there's another Jason Newland on YouTube, there's another one on LinkedIn, yeah there's a few, there's a few out there, there's a few out there, yeah I think that's all the pictures, there's no other pictures now of me, this is, but yeah if I looked on Google, it'd probably be a different thing, well not a lot different, but let's have a look, oh okay, so I'm just looking at something, that's interesting, I'm trying to see what other search engines are there, Opera Browser, open that, Opera Browser, I've got to download that, I'm not doing that, I'm not downloading anything, search endurance, brave search, brave search, oh brave, never heard of this one before, brave.

com, or search. brave. com, so I'm going to plug in there, oh I don't like this one, the doctor's at the top, you know earlier when I said the doctor should be at the top, I meant it but my ego didn't, I'm nowhere, oh yes I am, wow, so one, two, three, four, so I don't know who this is, oh it is the same bloke, the doctor's, the first two, then four videos, three, four, five, and then me, so I'm six, seven, eight, then him again, and then him again, then me, me, him, me, him, him, him, him, him, him, him, him, him, him, yeah me, me, me, him, it's much more, there's me as well, oh there's also a picture on there of me, with Andre, but the way the picture's shot, he looks as big as my head, which he wasn't, he was just, it's weird the way, because I've got a fairly big head, and he was little, but the way it's shot, it looks like he's much bigger than he actually is, okay, Adonis for your money, Adonis for your honey, all I need is love, ooh, okay, interesting, I've never even really looked into the different search engines before, it's kind of interesting, I wonder what other ones there are out there, so if I go out of that one, I'm going to see, this has got me interested now, so brave, search.

brave, so come out of there, Microsoft Opera browser, oh that one you have to site, okay, I'm not downloading that, money supermarket, SEMrush, SEMrush, best search engines compared, Google, Bing, Yahoo, is Yahoo still around? Wow, I didn't know that, so Yahoo, if I search my name in Yahoo, I know Yahoo used to be big didn't it, you like, remember all the, what do they call it, the, like the chat forums and stuff, didn't that used to be Yahoo, right, I search my name, why does it come in this Yahoo finance, I don't want Yahoo finance, news, Yahoo more, what would be more, just a normal search, that's all, is it too much to ask, just for Yahoo finance, I don't know, for a normal, ah, yep, me, me, me, me, me, me, so let me bore you to sleep, Jason Newland dot com, YouTube, Facebook, Apple podcasts, YouTube again, there's some pictures of a doctor over there, me, me, me, me, okay, so this, but there's no, not much in the way of images on this one, it's just Apple podcast, LinkedIn, Apple podcasts, Apple podcasts, or podcasts dot Apple dot com, Instagram, so it's there, it's mainly me, but it's got the doctor as well, which is good, if I come out of there, I want to see what other ones are, Yahoo, so Yahoo is number three, chat GPT search, perplexity, and that's to AI places, so I probably wouldn't search myself on there, YouTube, I know I could search myself on there, but that would just be my videos, TikTok, and I'm on TikTok, I'll just bring up my thing on TikTok, duck, duck, duck, duck, go, 1.

9 billion monthly visits, best for a search experience with no tracking of any kind, Ecosia, okay, so Ecosia, I don't know what that is, okay, let's click on this one, see what kind of engine, if I paste my name in, see if anything comes up, see that's annoying, right, what's the first thing that comes up, so I put in my name, this is in Ecosia, what's the first thing that comes up, not my name, but sponsored, what is it, hypnotherapy in your pocket, cure hypnosis for weight loss, spelled with a K, but it's a cure app, K U R E app, so they're using my name, my name, they wouldn't have put hypnosis there if it wasn't the fact that I'm like pretty much, I'm not actually, I'm not the top of that list either, I'm the doctors, the first two, and then it's me, me, me, me, me, then it's him again, then it's him again, then it's me, and then another sponsored hypnosis one at the bottom, if I go down next, more sponsored, meditation in London, and then Vinny flapped his ears in furious rage, this is a little bit more kind of mixed, it's me, me, other person, me, me, doctor, there's, oh no, that's the doctor as well, and there's ones from the hockey, hockey writer, or a hockey player, oh, okay, so we'll look at the images, see what, okay, this is exactly the same as the images that came up, well not all of them, but a lot of them are quite similar to the ones that came up before, that's the thing, they just search the internet, it's the same old stuff, isn't it, it's a little bit like being, going back in, back in time a little bit, you know, the surfing, because I don't really do much in the way of surfing these days, I do search, you know, where I'm specifically looking for a thing, but when it comes to just surfing, just for fun, just to see what's online, I don't do that anymore, I used to love doing that, because it was all so new, you know, back in, what, 2000, that's probably when I first started getting into the internet, and it was still new here, in this country, still, when I was using the internet, I was using it in a different capacity in probably 99 and 98 and 99, but I didn't use it at home until, or did I, no, that's probably wrong, I probably did start using it at home about 99, but I didn't, I got into it, because I started building websites, and I really got into the build like proper, full on, 16 hours a day for about a year and a half, it was all I thought about, I didn't think about it, I know, it's weird, absolutely loved building websites, it's all I wanted to do, but those days are gone, yeah, Ecosia, I don't really think it's, not really into that one actually, I installed duck, 20 best smash, 8 must try search engines 2026, let's have a look, duck duck, that's where I get, bing search, webopedia, webopedia, webopedia, webopedia, webopedia, friendly, what we don't like, alright, so it only searches it's own database, let's have a look, see if I'm on the database, no, there's no way you can actually search, that's weird, it's not a search engine at all, it's a search, it's like a more like directory I guess, I'm probably not on there, because, no I'm not, because it's more to do with finance and stuff, and the one thing that I'm never going to be searched for is financial advice, the internet archive search, now, that's not even opening up, wow, is it down, apparently it's not secure so I'm not allowed on it, my internet won't allow it, dog pile search, that's not even a search, I think I remember that one, I've been on here before I think, I think, alright, so let's just have a look, see if I'm on this one, doctors at the number 1, number 2, and then it's me, it's my website, apple podcasts, hypnosis, sleeping deeply, deeply, I don't know, Jason Nguyen hypnosis recording, Spotify, Instagram, that's for the doctor, doctor again, doctor again, hockey, doctor, my YouTube, yes, Spreaker, so it's not all me on this one, it's probably, I'd say probably 50 to 65% me on this one, for the first few pages anyway, I can't bother to go down too many pages, what are you doing, it's just taking me to a random page, I didn't want that, no one wants that, oh that was it, so there's only a few pages on there, so let's have a look, dog pile, it's a bit of a weird name isn't it, put a search engine, oh my loving, I will send to you, oh my loving, darling and I'll be true, I was looking at the Google, Google, I don't know why they even mention Google, everyone knows about Google doesn't they, Google, take me to it then, what is it, what is a search engine, duck go go, I think I've looked through all of them now, duck go, duck go, oh ok, it was there for a minute ago, now it's gone, it's very strange, oh my loving, I will send to you, oh my loving, darling and I'll be true, boo, boo, boo, very interesting, very very interesting, hmmm, oh well, just look at the, that's the worst thing, because I'm looking at the internet, I'm getting distracted, distracted, oh my darling, hmmm, there's some noise coming from somewhere, what is that, sometimes I hear, oh, you don't know do you, you haven't heard the latest, right, is the latest, I'll be honest, I didn't feel great this week, I'm not felt very particularly good this week but I had to cancel a doctor's appointment, it's kind of a bit of an irony there isn't it, well it wasn't a doctor's appointment, it was a nurse's appointment about the arthritis but on Thursday I had the, it is Saturday today isn't it, on Thursday I had the appointment I had the kitchen people come round to measure up, so the, it was really really nice people, it was three of them though, it was a little bit, I wasn't expecting three, I thought maybe two but three was like oh that's a lot, so there was a bit of overstimulation for both me and Vinnie really, and then I, I had to cancel the appointment, I had to cancel the appointment, yeah it was quite good because they ended up, like me choosing a colour coordination which isn't really my thing, so what I did I said well what do people normally have, and so with those tiles this is what they have, or with this cabinet or this desktop what do you want to call it, counter colour, that's what they have for the cupboards and so I just said well I'll go along with that, because colour coordination is not my strength, it's really not, which I'm okay with but it's not ideal when it comes to you know picking colours out for kitchens and stuff, or clothes, that's why I've stuck to wearing black pretty much my whole, well for many years, I've been very, very, very limited to what colours I wear for many years, like black, black, black, black, black, or dark blue, more recently I've been wearing Hawaiian shirts, because of the summer and just, and a little bit bigger than I need them to be, so that I've got more air and I'm not you know restricted, so with the kitchen I'm going to get more cabinets, they're going to put a plug or socket into the storage room so I can move my chest freezer into there, making more room for the kitchen which makes, there's more room for counter space, so there's going to be extra counter space in there, and more cupboards, they're moving a radiator from where it is now to the other wall, and I was like wow, and then on Tuesday, this coming, I think it's Tuesday, my radiator is going to be all replaced, all of them, so the kitchen, the radiators, they wouldn't come round and do it until they'd seen what the kitchen was going to be, because I have to like plan it around the kitchen for where the radiator is going to be, so basically the kitchen is going to be bigger, well it's going to seem bigger, well it might seem smaller actually if I've got more counter space, but it'd be nice to have more counter space, just generally, you know, because I like flat surfaces, I like flat surfaces because I like to store stuff on them, so there's going to be a proper mess in there probably, but I think it's Tuesday, let me have a look, Tuesday, I think it's a Tuesday, 21st of July, yeah, changing radiators, now I didn't realise the terminology for radiators was rads, never used that word in my life, but I've actually spoken to two people that used the word, no three, that used the word rads when referring to radiators, so I think I missed that terminology, that lesson at school, where you call radiators rads, well now I know, I know what, you know, but the lady on the phone, when she was talking about having the people come round, I didn't know what she was really talking about, I had to figure it out, she said oh yeah we've got Mr New Land, she said you're not related to the, you're not the doctor are you?

I said no, that's a doctor in America, she said yeah it's not you is it? I said, well no, I've got a council flat here, how could it be me in America, working as a doctor, you know with infectious diseases and children and stuff, well I don't know, I said well yeah but, use your noddle, I didn't say that, I've never said that to anyone, use your noddle, that's use your brain, use your, my dad used to say use your loaf, and I put up with that for years and I never had a comeback, use your brain, but the last time he said it to me, we were travelling up to London in 2001, it's weird that I remember these things, and I was in his, I think he had a van, or, or he rented a van or whatever, and he was going to help me to bring my stuff back from London because I'd just moved back from London to be closer to my Nan, and I said something that annoyed him and he said I'll use your loaf and I thought no not having that now I'm 31 years old I'm not gonna I'm not gonna have him say that anymore so I said to him I turned it in he was still driving I said I don't have a loaf he just looked at me like huh?

because that's just a terminology they used to say back then when he was a kid that's probably what his dad said to him use your loaf use your noddle use your wobbly head whatever you know use your head use your mind use your brain I never liked the term because it just reminded me of feeling a bit silly you know that's and I didn't like that feeling so I can't believe that my come that was my comeback and everything my dad used to love saying said when was kids again I reckon he probably just got that from his own dad it just passed down and because I think a lot of people's parenting skills come from their own parents and if it didn't seem to affect them adversely they some people probably didn't think anything of it you know because a lot of it doesn't it's just words and they don't think it has an impact maybe but one thing that he sometimes used to say is and you an idiot why yeah now in this country I've noticed I've noticed a few people in over the years that use the word idiot really freely but not even hostile just stop being such an idiot you're an idiot I'm deeply affected if I if someone calls me that and because it's been a big thing it's like because I always thought I was you know not because of my dad just generally because of school and my I had a learning disability and I was so behind I was someone's now in the garden so that's not good anyway I'm gonna go now but he'd he said that to me I was about 15 he said you an idiot what are you and I said no I'm not I stood up to him not physically but I like he was in the garden I said no I'm not I felt brave because I've been doing karate for a couple of years and but not physically brave because I knew that he could just crush me with two fingers but like and he said well don't act it then that's like he telling me all these years that's all I had to say to him and I know that he didn't mean anything bad when he said it what he was really saying is stop acting silly but I didn't take it as that and it's almost like I was taking it personally and he didn't he didn't mean it personally stop being so stupid to him was the same as saying oh shush can you pass the salt you know I mean it's like oh it's cold today it was just a thing an expression that he said and I think as I got older I realized that he didn't really mean anything by it he was trying to kind of correct my my movement in life to sort of be a bit more thinking before what I did what he didn't realize is I was probably the most deepest thinker there was in that house at least maybe always been a deep thinker couldn't tell you what I was thinking about but it's deep or maybe not so I'm gonna go because I need to get ready there's boxing on tonight and I need to get this uploaded and everything but there's now people in the garden the other side which are gonna make as much noise as they can which is fine but it's good it's happened like near the end of the recording if you know I mean and you can continue listen to this because there's gonna be hypnosis taking you for 10 hours relaxing you so deeply so thank you for listening remember to be kind to yourself because you do deserve to be happy and be gentle with yourself you deserve to feel safe lots of love bye
