Hello and welcome to let me bore you to sleep. My name is Jason Newland. Vinnie.

I should be able to say my name without laughing, shouldn't I? Really. It's just he cuddled up to my right leg just as I started talking, which was kind of cute. It warned me cuckoos.

Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes. My website is jasonnewland.com. So it's J-A-S-O-N-N-E-W-L-A-N-D dot com. All my latest recordings are uploaded there for you to listen to.

Also my YouTube channel let me bore you to sleep or Jason Newland. You can search there. There's a link from my website.

And all six versions of my recordings are also available on YouTube every day. Every time I upload a new recording. I've actually uploaded two today, but one was from last night.

I have a Facebook group called Jason Newland's Boring Group, which you can join if you like. If you want to sort of join in and join. I don't know what else to say.

I also upload the first 59 minutes of each recording to X, Instagram and TikTok. It only allows me to put 59 minutes. You have to be below an hour.

So if it's a hypnosis recording, generally it'll be below an hour, but let me bore you to sleep. Usually a little bit longer, slightly, sometimes a lot more than slightly. Or someone's contacted me on my Jason Newland's Boring Group.

So I've got two questions for this week's Q&A Friday. So today's Wednesday the 29th of April 2026. If you would like to ask me a question for Friday's Q&A Friday, this coming Friday, the 1st of May 2026, please go to my Jason Newland's Boring Group.

Alternatively, you could ask a question on my YouTube channel, or you could send me an email. My email address is jasonnewland at hotmail.co.uk. And so I've got two questions, one from Anne, one from Mike. I also need to address something.

This is for Brittany and for anyone else that may be having the same issue. So Brittany posted, why can't I listen to anything newer than November 2025 with Apple Podcasts? And Tonya did reply saying there was a glitch with his podcast a few months ago. Search his name again, and a different version shows up.

So yeah, I have posted, also posted the links. Well, Nicola posted the link to the Hypnosis for Sleeping Deeply. I posted the link to the Hypnosis for Let Me Bore You To Sleep podcast on Apple Podcasts.

There was a big old blip. As Tonya says, thanks for that as well. I guess I suppose it was about November time last year.

And basically, it was a bit of a chaotic, the Apple Podcasts was playing up and it was showing stuff that wasn't there and not showing stuff that was there. It took quite a lot of work to get it kind of back to being okay, if you know what I mean. But we got there eventually.

But I'm sorry about that, Brittany. I'm sorry that you've kind of not been able to watch anything or listen to anything since November. And just for future reference, if the podcasts are down, for whatever reason, you know, be great if you let me know.

But also, they will also be available on my website, Jason Newland.com. They will also be available on my YouTube channel as well. So that's like an alternative place that you can listen. I'm also on Spotify and pretty much all the other podcast hosts.

And for example, let's have a look. Just go for today so far. So Overcast, that's a popular one today.

Apple Podcasts, Podcast Addict, Pocket Casts, Castbox, Chrome, iHeartRadio, Spotify, Spreaker, iVoox, among others. So today, so oh no, no, I got it wrong. I was looking at just one podcast there.

So today sources. Right, Apple Podcasts is a top then Overcast and generic Apple Android apps. So yeah, there's lots of Castro.fm, Amazon Music, Pocket Casts, iTunes, Audible, Podcast Republic, iVoox, Apple Core Media, Spreaker, Spotify, Jason Newland.com, Pocket Casts.

Yes, there's quite a few different ones. And for some reason, let's have a look. The geolocation for today, United States is a top, Australia is second so far.

I mean, it's only 10 to six in the evening. So all the afternoon. Do you class 10 to six this afternoon or evening? Or does it depend what time of the year it is? I mean, you know, if you go by if it's dark outside, then it's evening at four o'clock in December, January.

So you know, it's, it depends. But I think I've always kind of gone to six o'clock, six o'clock afternoon, and then evening is kind of six onwards. And then when I go to bed, that's night.

Kind of all this when it's when it's, I don't know, maybe after eight or nine is night. Or maybe when I'm in bed. I don't know.

Afternoon is easy because after 12 o'clock, isn't it? But when does afternoon end? Or is it really 12 to six is afternoon, six till 12 is evening. And then 12 to six is night. And then six to 12 is morning.

Maybe that's the way to look at it. United Kingdom, third, Canada, Ireland, Israel, Norway, Monaco, Austria, New Zealand, Philippines. The thing is, I know, not everyone's a big fan of listening to the stats.

But I think it's quite nice for people that live in the places that I'm mentioning might might be quite nice. So people living in Ireland or Israel, Norway, Monaco, Japan, Austria, New Zealand, Philippines, because the lower down the list I go, the less amount of people or less amount of downloads I'm getting. So I don't get a huge amount in Japan.

I don't get a huge amount in the Philippines. So those in the Philippines listening, I'm kind of talking to you. South Africa, Turkey, Poland, Spain, Netherlands, Sweden, Greece, Uruguay, Barbados, Germany, France, South Korea, Pakistan, and eight others.

So that's, that's today. So far. United States, California is quite often the tops California.

We've got hunting Huntington Beach. So hi, if you're from Huntington Beach, Fresno, Napa, Los Angeles, Richmond, San Jose, San Leandro, Riverside, Sacramento, Irvine, Elk Grove, Van Nuys, Woodland and two others. So, you know, welcome if you're from any of those places.

And you got Canada, Alberta, Quebec, Nova Scotia, Ontario, British Columbia, Sasquatch, when and Alberta, Alberta, you got Calgary, Edmonton. There's lots of different places. Australia, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, Queensland, South Australia.

So news, what Sydney, so Sydney is the biggest amount downloads at the moment today. From Sydney, Victoria, Melbourne, and other Brisbane. You got Adelaide, and then the UK.

Now, I'm not going to go through every single country, but I just want to say hello to those people. So in Scotland, you got Castle Douglas, Cumbernauld, and Glasgow. So welcome, if you're listening from there.

And thank you for listening. And then the UK in England, rather, the top of the list is Leeds, then High Wycombe, Newcastle, upon Tyne, Kettering, Ashford, which I do believe is in Kent, Ilford, Edmonton, is where I was born, Wimbledon, Manchester, York, Solihull, Eastbourne, Hackney, Hull, Pontefract. I've got no idea where Pontefract is.

Is it up? No, I don't know. It sounds like a holiday place, though. Like a sunny seaside town, is it? I thought it was Welsh Pontefract.

I don't know why. Maybe it's because I struggled to say it. Lowestoft, Wembley, Walsend, Birmingham, Loughborough, Brighton, Leigh, Brent, Southall, London.

So thank you all those people that are listening around these places. No one from Wales. Where's my Welsh people? Where are you? So there's a little bit of sound in the garden.

I can't, as you know, really do much about that. But I also can't let it get in the way of me making recordings. Otherwise, I won't make any recordings.

And that is not acceptable. So for those that didn't listen to yesterday's Let Me Boy To Sleep, The Dentist and The Opticians, I suppose the things that come out of that mainly was my eyesight has deteriorated a bit. I've got cataracts in both eyes and I've got a lazy eye.

And The Dentist, I have to have one tooth and fillings in two other teeth. I'm basically falling apart. So The Dentist appointments in two weeks, at which time I will go up to have Yeah, I'll pay hopefully be able to pay for the glasses and then go up and collect them.

Like in a week or two after that, so hopefully in about a month, I should have my new glasses, which would be good. And I'm also thinking even even though I've got Actilite like I've got now, I might because I have to really start protecting my eyes a bit better. I might try and get some sunglasses in my prescription separate like in a few weeks time.

Maybe by the end of May, June time, and just and just wear them when I'm out. And wear these when I'm in if that makes sense. But in the sun, I mean, when it's when it's like sunny, I won't need that sort of in the winter, but in the summer.

So that will help to protect my eyes a bit more, I think. So yeah, that's the plan. That second bit isn't really a plan, but it's an idea.

I just thought it sounded like a good idea when I thought about it. I said out loud and it still seems like it's not a terrible idea. I don't have to go out.

Oh, the other two things, because I know things get missed, will get missed a little bit because I do waffle a little bit and I go on a bit. And if you've fallen asleep with me talking, you might not have heard everything that I've kind of said, which is no reason. I mean, it's not you're going to get tested.

The I've got, I've definitely got new radiators going to be fitted in the next month or two. So that's a definite I've got new radiators being fitted. So central heating system.

And it's well, I think it's definitely also that I'm going to be getting a new kitchen. So that's really good. That's cool.

So that's a nice thing. And it's kind of spurred me on to start thinking about maybe possibly having a little decoration of the flat. Maybe contacting the council about getting some new doors, because the doors are just atrocious.

I inherited bad doors and bad doors. It's a weird one, isn't it? And that was 11 years ago. So I thought maybe, or even find a way if I pay for them to be changed.

I don't know. So they have to be certain regulation, but just be nice to have nice doors. Even the the what the hinges are just rusted and you know, I mean, they've already been in there for 30 years, these doors, the radiators have.

So the only thing left really is new windows, which will be done eventually, but I don't know that might not be for a few years. And a new bathroom. Because basically, this flat has been untouched for a long time.

I mean, nothing's happened in the last 11 years, apart from things being fixed. I've had a couple of windows replaced, because the windows just basically busted. You know, the walk in the middle condensation or whatever.

Is it a blowout? They call it. So I think eventually, they're going to try and change all the windows in this building, which would probably be a I imagine they do all at the same time. I can't imagine they'll probably do it individual flats.

They'll just do a big, you know, job lot. I made that up. It's just just a guesswork.

As far as the kitchen goes, the bathroom, sorry. I know 1234 of my neighbors have had new bathrooms. Or one's having half a new bathroom, she's having a new bath put in.

So there's a chance that I might get a new bathroom at some point. But then she got her kitchen two years ago. She had a brand new kitchen two years ago.

Uncle sausages had a brand new kitchen last year and a brand new bathroom or what as you know, he had a brand new kitchen at the end of the year before last. And then in the summer, he had his new bathroom being put in. So, they do move quite quickly when they get started.

He's been a bit fidgety because he's given herself a bed bath. If you know what I mean. Mind you, the radio man said the downstairs had new radios put in a couple of weeks ago.

I didn't know that. I don't know if he, I don't know, maybe he meant a different flat, but I don't think it's anyone that I know. Because I think they mentioned it or maybe they did and I forgot.

There's no way of knowing now is there? I just don't know. I'm just getting so old, so old. See this, this noise now that he makes, he does this.

When I try and do hypnosis recording, guaranteed, he'll start licking himself. And he struggles to get to it. Okay.

Okay. He's, it's a little bit like that game, Twister. And you'd have to kind of, you know, I never got to play it with anyone, which is a shame.

It looked like quite a good game to play like with a new date, someone that you just get to know each other and seem like a good game to play. But those years, those days are gone. I mean, if you pulled a Twister game out and put it on the floor and it just be an ambulance, they'd have to call an ambulance for me.

Really? I think, you know, just no, it's not going to do that. It's a shame. There was a time I could do handstands.

Believe it or not. I was very twisty for a while when I was younger. Very twisty.

I'm talking as an adult. I was twisty, twisty. I could pretty much, I could fall forward and catch myself like in a press up or push up position.

I could just fall forward so easily. Now, to be fair, I could fall forward now and if I just kept my hands at my sides, I would bounce back. You know, weebles wobble, but they don't fall down.

I turned into a weeble. That is one of the good things about being overweight is I literally can't bang my head on the floor if I fall over because my back, there's literally, even if I put my head as far back as I can, it can't touch the floor when I'm laying down on my back. It doesn't get anywhere near the floor.

It's about five foot away, 10 foot, 15 foot away. It's because my back's too big. It just, I can't get, it won't reach, which is a good thing because I've fallen over a few times and my head just won't reach.

It can't, doesn't hit the floor, which is a really good thing. Not that I want to fall over, but it's a different matter with the front because it depends how I fall. I mean, sometimes I did fall over once on my front and I just span around for a while.

This is a while back. That's before I was, that's before I was a fully fledged weeble. Weebles wobble, but they don't fall down.

Yes, I've got cataracts, need a tooth out, two fillings, new kitchen, new radiators, new glasses, and a lazy eye. And that was weird because I've never experienced that before. Reading with my left eye only and seeing the letters moving around, disappearing, and then mixing together.

In fact, I just never, I've never read with just one eye before. I don't think so. I have looked through one eye before.

I'm sure I must have done. When you're looking through a microscope, you look through only just one, you use one eye, don't you? And a telescope, one eye. Binoculars, you use both eyes.

The good thing about binoculars, they're much easier to get up the tree, aren't they? As opposed to like a telescope, that's a lot of faff, especially if you need to get down the tree quickly, you know, someone's called the police or something. Oh, Vinny's licking my arm. How pleasant.

He's got a very warm tongue. His food's on the floor and he's not eating it. Oh, my goodness.

I just remembered what he was doing like a minute ago. It's basically right now, by licking my arm, he's cleansing his palate. He's, he's getting rid of this.

Oh, my goodness. Okay, let's just forget what I, what I witnessed a couple of minutes ago. Let's just get that out of my mind.

Okay, that's good. Although I do feel like I need to go wash my arm. I love you, Vinny.

It's really weird. He's gone from not wanting to get anywhere near the desk or near my chair to almost trying to get onto my lap. Just within a few months, because there was a time when if I put my hand near him on top of him, he would run away.

Now I'm just stroking him, I've got my hand on him, his tail's waggling. And if he could, he would get on my lap. In fact, he is partially on my lap now, aren't you? He's got one leg on my knee.

Is it because you're a good boy? He's got two legs on my knee now. You could, do you want to, do you want to get on? No? It's a bit of a balancing act, isn't it? Because my legs aren't together, you see. If I was sitting down on a chair, he'd be happy.

He could jump on me and stuff, and he'd be supported. But because I'm at a desk, he won't be supported. I mean, he will be, because I wouldn't let him fall.

But I guess he doesn't know that, does he? Even though he should know that, because I always try and look out for you, don't I? Because you're my little baby. Yes, you are. Your daddy's a little baby.

With the cutest eyes and the cutest ears. His ears, one of his ears was literally pinned back. I don't know why it was pinned back.

Why was it pinned back? Oh, kisses, kisses. That's it. Yeah, that's it.

Not in my ear. No, that's the limit. That's across the line.

No, not in my ear. I used to get a lot of ear infections when I was younger. Now I know why.

Letting a dog lick your ears, not a good idea. Oh, my friend Andre, the human Andre, he used to say, oh, let the dog lick you because it's natural anesthetic. And I thought, really? I mean, it might be true.

But it didn't seem true. Shall we check it? Okay. Dog's saliva.

And this anesthetic antibacterial. Okay, let's have a look. Dog's saliva contains antibacterial compounds.

But it's effective. Its effectiveness is limited. And it's not a safe substitute for proper wound care.

And I mean, he didn't. He didn't get the idea. Yeah.

I mean, if it was the case, then the accident emergency in hospitals would just have nothing but dogs everywhere, wouldn't they? Come over here, Rover, lick, lick this. Never met a dog called Rover ever. Is that strange? One of my neighbors has got a dog called David.

That's not a dog's name, David. But then Andre is not a ferret's name, is it? I think people have moved away from the old, not everyone, but some people have moved away from the traditional names for dogs and cats. So it's sort of like Tigger, which is what my cat used to be called when I was a kid.

Or Fluffle, Fluffies, or Cuddles, or Pinkies, or Winky Wonkies, or Shrewy, Booby, Booby, Dooby, Doobies. You know, those kinds of names for animals. It's kind of, I think it's changed.

It's changed. I mean, he's Vinnie. Apparently, he was named after Vinnie Jones, the footballer slash actor, Vinnie Jones.

That explains why he was so aggressive sometimes. And he loves balls, don't you? That's part of, it makes me a little bit sad that I can't chuck a ball for him in the park and get him to run for it and bring it back, because he loves doing that. But he's got no recall.

His recall is ridiculously bad. It's about two inches away from my face, just staring at me. Now you look at my chin.

Okay, what is it, Vinnie? What is it? You got your food? No point looking over there, because you're not going to get, you've got your food, you have to eat your food. His tail's proper going. What? You're going to take off in a minute.

What's going on? He's funny. Does some weird things, don't you? He's a good boy, though, aren't you? Are you a good boy? You haven't seen your nanny treats, have you, for a couple of days? You used to see her all the time, and then sometimes we go through periods when we don't hardly see her at all. We always hear her before we see her, don't we? We hear her, like, she sees us, we just hear, hello! And Vinnie, like, looks around, like, and goes absolutely potty of excitement.

You love your nanny, don't you? You love your nanny? Yes, he does. He got to go in a garden a couple of weeks ago, and, wow, you hear the word garden? And he's been in a house a few times. And then she said, oh, does he want to go in the garden? And I said, I reckon, because he was trying to get into the garden.

He was, like, trying to get, looking a way out of the house. First thing he did, basically, when we went out there, and she said, oh, he, she was just showing me around. He said, where's Vinnie gone? He was in the corner of the garden doing a big poo.

Bearing in mind, he won't do a poo in my garden, although it's communal, but he won't, he won't go out there unless he absolutely has to. It's the last thing he would do. He doesn't like it, but the first thing he did in her garden was a massive poo.

It was the biggest poo in the world, wasn't it? Yes, it was. Luckily, I had a bag to pick it up with, and I think I just put it in her, I don't know what I did with it. Oh, yeah, I said, I'll take it out and put it in the bin outside, but I think I might have just chucked it in her bushes.

I didn't, of course I didn't, blimey. What do you think I am? He loves her apples. See, when the apples fall from the tree, half of them fall into the park, because the apple tree's over the fence, because her house, basically the bottom of her garden is the fence, which basically leads to the park.

You can't get into the park that way. Some people have gates to the park from there, from there. I suppose it's up to you what you do, isn't it? You can do that if you want, but she doesn't have that.

But Vinny loves the apples because he eats them. And after saying that out loud, it sounded like the most pointless story ever, wasn't it? It's like, yeah, Vinny likes the apples because he eats them. There's nothing to add, is there? I like eating bananas, that's why I buy them.

That's not the start of a novel, really. Not a very exciting one. And I have thought about that.

So if I wrote a story about my life, I was going to start it with, this is years ago, I've had two names for my novel about my life. The first one is, why is it free? Because that's what I've been asked for decades. Why is it free? About the service I do.

Why is it free? Why is it free? I don't get asked so often now, but in the first like 15 years, I was asked a lot. The first 10 years, the first five years, blimey, people would walk up to me in the street who I didn't even know. Why is it free? I said, why is what free? I don't know.

And they walk off. So that was going to be my life story called, why is it free? And I was going to explain in my own way, if I could, why I have spent, well at that time, you know, 10 years or whatever, but now it's over 20, focused on trying to help people with these recordings of mine, or of ours. We all share them, don't we really? Don't belong to me anymore, I guess, once I put them out.

But I don't know what I would say. And then probably the second decade, once I was diagnosed with bipolar, I thought, okay, I could have the title, the bipolar hypnotist. Not catchy necessarily.

But factual. Yeah, factual. But then, I don't know, you kind of need a catchy title for a book really.

But in all fairness, it doesn't matter how good the title is, if I don't have an actual book to put the title on, and I don't. And I've tried to start writing a book on many occasions. And sometimes I've done like 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 pages.

And I just like, oh, this is, it's not even reading it back, it's not interesting to me. Sometimes, you know. I mean, the first thing, I was born, what was it? Oh, yeah.

When I was born, I had two older, I was born, I had two older brothers when I was born. No, I had two brothers when I was born, they were both older than me. And just a silly line like that.

And then, I don't know, just, just, I kind of like to do it seriously, but not seriously. Have all the serious stuff in it. But also make it humorous at the same time.

And I'm sure, I'm not really sure how to do that. Because I've never really attempted it. I mean, maybe I have done in the recordings, but I've never tried.

Maybe I'm just not a writer. I'm a talker. And I thought that being a talker would be the same as being a writer.

But then when you think about it, I don't talk grammatically correct, probably a lot of the time. I'm not even trying to be interesting. So would anybody want to read what I'm saying? You know, I mean, like, which, if this was on paper, in sentences and paragraphs, words, basically, the written word, would anybody get past the first page? Is a question I would ask.

And then I thought, what I could do is do a journal every year, do a journal, write down what I've been up to, you know, sort of like every day of the year, just write down a bit, and maybe just expand upon what I did was, you know, maybe transcribe, transcribe every recording, because I do one nearly every day. And just, I don't know, make it boring, so people fall asleep when they're reading. Which is kind of, that would be another way to go.

So instead of having it like a normal reading book, which can, I mean, I always found that when I was tired, if I tried to read, I would fall asleep. Especially if it was low light, and I was in bed, you know, the amount of times I fell, I fell away, fell awake. How do you fall awake? The amount of times I fell asleep while reading a book in bed, in my younger years, it's just ridiculous, like so many times, I just wake up, and I pulled a drool.

What happened? And I remember, on a Saturday, early hours of a Saturday morning, so I'd be out on a Friday night, no early hours of a Sunday morning. So I'd be out on a Saturday night, a nightclub or a comedy club, usually, I come home. And the boxing, if there was like a world title, heavyweight title, like, I think it was ITV used to show them early hours of the morning live, from Las Vegas and stuff.

So I'd stay up. And because they'd have the show on, the main fight wouldn't be on till, like it is now, sometimes four o'clock in the morning, depending on how long the show goes. And the amount of times I fell asleep, and I woke up halfway through Riddick Bowe and Vander Holyfield going at each other.

I said the amount of times when they have three fights, but, you know, in that situation, the best one was when I'd wake up just as they were entering the ring. It's like, yeah, when I say the ring, I'm talking about the where they box. And that was quite good.

Because this weekend, we've got, well actually there was boxing today, which I didn't get to see, although it's on DAZN. And it was in Australia. It was on live at 10 o'clock, but I was a bit busy this morning.

So I didn't watch it. But I'll watch it either today, later tonight, maybe, or tomorrow. There's also boxing on, oh, when's boxing on? Saturday.

Saturday night. And it's boxing on Sunday morning. So the Sunday morning one, who's on Saturday night? Blimey, that's weird.

I do know, but I can't remember. Boxing schedule, schedule, schedule. Let's have a look.

Hopefully not too many adverts on this thing. So I can get to it. Oh, oh, how did I forget that one? So Saturday.

This is ridiculous, right? Saturday. Ridiculous in a good way. So we've got boxing on Saturday morning, about 10 o'clock in Japan on Saturday morning.

Inoue, who is pound for pound, the top, I think, maybe behind Usyk, but he's like one of the top boxers in the world. He's defending his world title, and it's a unified world title. It's just a massive, a massive fight.

Then in the evening, in the UK, we have, oh, blimey, where is it? Edgington against Walker. That's also on the zone. So that was, that'll be good.

So that's in the evening. And then Sunday morning, Ramirez against Benavidez for the WBO and WBA World Cruiserweight Championship, WBA Super World Cruiserweight. What? Oh, OK, gotcha.

WBA, they do these super things and there's no point to it. Just why would you have two world titles in the same on the same belt? You know, it's just it's I don't know why they do it anyway. So Benavidez, David Benavidez is going up a weight.

So he was the super middleweight champion twice in a row. He was the intermediate super middleweight champion again as well. And then he went up to light heavyweight and he won the light heavyweight championship.

I think he was given it actually, to be fair, because it was vacated. And now he's going up to cruiserweight against Ramirez to win the cruiserweight championship. So that like three weight world champion.

Even Canelo didn't do that. And I don't know why he didn't do it. Because he he did go up to light heavyweight, won the world title.

But then he went back to light heavyweight and he didn't against Bivol. He didn't win the second time. So he's already won a world title there.

Why didn't he just go up to cruiserweight, which is only a little bit a little bit heavier. And then I don't know if David Benavidez wants to go up to heavyweight because after cruiserweight, no, there is a Oh, what's it called? There's another way. It's a new one, which is in between cruiserweight and heavyweight.

So David Benavidez could go up there and win a fourth weight world title. And then go up to heavyweight. I don't know.

I don't know if he could do heavyweight. I mean, he could do it weight weight wise, because he is tall. And I just don't know if heavyweight would be the right weight for him.

Because that's a big jump skill wise. Yeah. But just looking at some of the heavyweights now who would be going against who are absolutely huge and young, young heavyweights on the upcoming, coming up, arriving on their way on the journey.

I mean, David Benavidez, I'll always back him. I followed him for about 10 years now. Let me tell you about his career.

David Benavidez, he lost his world title super middleweight twice. One was through recreational chemicals, should we say. And so he lost his world title because of that, because they tested him.

And it wasn't for enhancing. It was just he'd gone partying. And the second time he lost it on the weights.

So he couldn't make the weight. It was too heavy. So he ended up fighting the second fight, knowing that he couldn't keep his world title.

Even if he even if he won the fight, he was going to lose his world title. He won the fight anyway, but he got stripped. But the other person could win the world title of him if they'd won.

That's not a good situation. I'm just looking He's unbeaten as well in 31 fights. His first fight was 2013.

And he won his first world title. I think he was only 19 at the time, something like that. He's still learning about 30.

He's 29 now. Vinny, will you go away mate? What do you want? Seriously, he's breathing up my sleeve. It's like heavy breathing up my little shirt sleeve onto my armpit, which is very weird.

Or you're just sniffing it and thinking, oh, why are you staring at me? Are you doing that licking your lips like you're hungry? Food is down there. Eat your dinner. Eat your dinner.

Eat your dinner. That's what it's there for. He's got me trained.

He knows that if he stares long enough, I'll go and get him something that he wants. All he has to do is just keep staring at me until I break. I know he doesn't want to go out because I've already been out.

I literally just got back. Why? Man, just right. Okay, so I want to go back to this David Benavidez.

I'm not enjoying him staring at me though. It's weird. It's inches away just staring.

Why? What are you making weird noises for? So his first world title was in 2017. So he's 29 now. 2017 was nine years ago.

So he was 20. I think he was 19 actually. He's one of the youngest super middleweight champions ever.

And that was a WBC super middleweight title. And he kept it and he retained it. And he retained it and retained it.

Okay, and I think he lost it. Yeah, so he retained it once. And then in 2019, he fought Gi Leon Love.

I've watched every one of his fights since 2000. And I don't know, probably 10 years anyway, when I discovered him. I mean, it's already been discovered, but I you know, I found out about him and he is one of the best boxers I've ever seen.

So retained that he lost it against Gi Leon Love, but he still won the title. He still got knockout in the second round, won the fight. Then he won, he came back in 2019.

And he won the WBC super middleweight championship again. And then he kept hold of it. I don't know how long he kept hold of it before he lost it again.

And then he was trying to get a fight with Canelo, but Canelo would never fight him. Canelo said, I'm never going to fight another Mexican. And then the next person Canelo fought was another Mexican.

So Canelo did not want to fight him for whatever reason. And then he won the interim super middleweight title in 2022. And he held on to that for one, two, three fights to 2024.

But Canelo hogged, completely hogged the old super middleweight titles, because he wouldn't give he refused to give David Benavidez a title shot. So he had to hold the interim, which is basically the interim. What it means, if those who don't know, is you're next in line.

If the world champion is injured, or they can't fight, or they maybe they don't come back, or they have to give up the belt, because they won't defend it against the person they're supposed to. Then they would be gifted that belt. So David Benavidez would have got that belt.

But that didn't happen. So he retained the interim title. Then he won the interim light heavyweight title.

But then Bivel would not fight him. Or they couldn't get a fight together. Bivel gave up that title.

He gave up the WBC regular. Really? Oh, no, he won the WBA regular light heavyweight title. Oh, got you.

So basically, yeah, he, he won the WBC WBA regular light heavyweight title, retained retained the interim light heavyweight title. And then he fought Anthony Yard from the UK. By this time, he was added, he was made the actual full world champion for light heavyweight.

So he retained that with a knockout. And that was in November last year. And now he's fighting at this weekend for the cruiserweight world title.

Two, two world titles on the line for cruiserweight. And it's exciting. It's exciting stuff.

I'm a fan of both, both boxers. So, you know, it's, it's kind of, they're both really, really great boxers. Like Anthony Yard, who fought, he's a really good boxer.

He's going to be a world champion. I'm pretty sure he will be. He just, unfortunately, he's lost three times.

He lost four times, but one was, I mean, that was during lockdown. And I think he had a cold. And it just wasn't his best performance and he got beaten on points.

But before that, he fought for the WBA light heavyweight title, got knocked out by Sergei Kovalev, who was known as the pretty much the boogeyman back then. So, you know, ferocious. And then he fought for the WBC IBF and WBO light heavyweight title against Artur Betebeev, knocked out in round eight.

And then David Benefides, he fought for the WBA, WBC and WBA regular heavyweight title. So he's fought for the world titles three times and lost by KO. But it was never one-sided.

That's the thing. You think, oh, just this one-sided, he's not good enough. No.

Okay, he wasn't good enough on the night, maybe you could say. But he's an absolute beast. He's a knockout artist himself.

I mean, he's pretty much knocked everyone out, pretty much that he's ever faced, apart from those that he hasn't, you know, that have beaten him. All the others have pretty much been knockouts. I mean, he's had 27 wins, 24 knockouts.

He's lost four, three by knockout, one by decision. And he's only young, he's still in his 20s, I'm sure he is. No, he's 34.

Blimey. He's still going to win a world title. The only problem is, which isn't normally the case until kind of recent years.

Okay, it's not totally true. But the light heavyweight division hasn't necessarily been like glamour, it hasn't been a glamour division. I mean, it was, I guess, when Michael Spinks was light heavyweight a long time ago.

But light heavyweight because of, I mean, it had a lot of interest because he was like a knockout artist. But because of, I would say, more Artur Betebeev, and then Bivol turned the light heavyweight sort of division into a glamour division. Because Artur Betebeev was just, I think he had like 100% knockout rate for a while.

And Bivol had just beaten Cadenau. So he, let's have a look at Bivol. So Bivol has been a world champion since, since 2017.

So for nine years, Bivol has been a world champion, IBF light heavyweight champion. It's a long time. But he wasn't getting the recognition.

It's like, and he was knocking people out. But he wasn't getting, he just didn't seem to be getting the recognition until, what am I looking at? I'm looking at Artur Betebeev, not Bivol. Artur Betebeev, blimey.

Okay, ignore that. So Artur Betebeev, what are you doing? Something's coming to the screen. I don't want it there.

Okay. Artur Betebeev has been, was a world champion from 2019. Now it's showing me Chicago.

Wikipedia, you didn't touch anything on the screen. Wikipedia. So he won the world title.

Oh, Vinny's now decided to give up staring at me. 2017. So he retained it.

And then he ended up winning all the belts. Yeah, all the belts. And he also retained, so all the way up to 2025.

So that's eight years. He was the world champion at the light heavyweight. And he beat Dimitri Bivol in their first fight by majority decision.

But before that, he knocked out everybody. Literally every single person. 21 wins, 20 knockouts, one decision.

And he had one loss, which is they had a rematch and Bivol beat him. Now Bivol, wow. He was kind of like someone I'd never heard of until I heard of him.

But he was, okay. He was the interim world champion, light heavyweight champion. Became the world champion 2018.

But he won the interim 2017. So he was a full WBA light heavyweight, retained WBA light heavyweight title 2017. So he held it all the way through.

And he kept, yeah, so he kept holding on to it, hold on to it, hold on to it. Until he lost it to Arta Beterbiev in 2024. So seven years.

I'll be honest, until he fought Canelo, I'd heard of him, but not really. They fought Canelo, who hadn't lost a fight in a long, long, long, long time. And he beat Canelo 2022, 7th of May.

Blimey, that's nearly four years ago. And and then he went on and he won everyone apart from when he got beaten by Arta Beterbiev. And then he won again, that one.

So he also beat Gilberto Ramirez, who's fighting this weekend against David Benavidez. And that was Gilberto Ramirez's only defeat, as far as I'm aware, on his record. Yet one loss.

And he was 48 wins, 30 by knockout, 18 by decision. And he was a world title, world champion from, wow, he had to do a lot of fights before he got there. But it was all in Mexico.

So he, how many fights did he have to, he was a youth champion. Blimey, he won the WBO super middleweight title in 2016. 2016, 10 years ago.

9th of April as well. So literally over 10 years ago. And he retained it.

He must have given it up. So he retained it to 2018, gave it up. That's what I didn't understand.

Because I kept seeing him in his big fights. But he wasn't a world champion. And like, why is he not a world champion? And it's basically Canelo wouldn't fight him.

Because he won't fight Mexicans, apparently. Even though he has. So this is another excuse.

Canelo wouldn't fight him because he's, he's Mexican. Also. So he kept winning his fights.

He won every single fight that he had, even though he gave up the world title. And he had 44 wins. And then he faced Bivel to fight for the WBA super lightweight championship world title.

And he lost on points. And since then, he's had 1, 2, 3, 4 fights. He, 2024, he won the WBA super cruiserweight.

Well, the cruiserweight title. And he also won the WBO cruiserweight title. So he's, he's defended those.

But a lot of his fights since Bivel have been unanimous decision. So even though, you know, 44 fights, untarnished, world champion, and he's a two-time world champion. Now, only one loss to Bivel, which is no shame to anyone.

Blimey, Bivel was phenomenal. He is, but I don't know when he's going to fight next. I mean, he hasn't fought for, last time he fought was February, 2025, over a year ago.

That's a long time, isn't it? In boxing? Really? Especially if you're the world champion, which I think he still is. Unless he's given up all the belts. When does Bivel, Bivel, when does Bivel fight next? May the 30th, 2026.

Oh, he's had back surgery. That's why. So he's scheduled to fight Michael Effort on May the 30th, 2026 in Russia.

This fight will be his next appearance after recovering from back surgery. Oh, according to this, he was going to have a trilogy fight with Artur Betebeev. This is interesting to me.

I realize probably just me, just me. This was last year. Dmitry Bivel has confirmed that his next fight will be a trilogy bout with Artur Betebeev.

But as a result of his decision, Bivel has been forced to vacate his WBC title, meaning that he is no longer the undisputed champion at 175 pounds. Perspids were set to be called on Tuesday for Bivel to face WBC interim champion David Benavidez. So he didn't want to fight David Benavidez, which is why David Benavidez ended up fighting for the title.

Maybe or I don't know. But anyway, I mean, probably the trilogy against Artur Betebeev probably would have been a more popular fight in the boxing world. Maybe not for me.

But he relinquished his world title, one of them. But then he, I don't know if he injured himself in training or I don't know. So Benavidez was now being elevated to full champion.

And while he was not, he was disappointed not facing Bivel, the American is looking to leave his mark on the light heavyweight division with the iconic green and gold belt. And then a year later, he's he's fighting for the cruiserweight. So it doesn't doesn't mean that he's no longer in the light heavyweight.

Because some some champions go up a weight or two weights to fight a world champion and then go back down to their original weight. So it doesn't he doesn't have given up his world title at light heavyweight. I just don't know.

But yeah, he says he hurt his back. Well, hurt his back is probably an understatement. He's had surgery on his back.

I hope he's recovered. Okay. It's phenomenal, phenomenal fighter.

And even though I'm a big David Benavidez fan, I've never bet against Bivel. I couldn't. I couldn't bet against him.

But I wouldn't bet against David Benavidez. However, I don't bet so it's not you know, it's not really a thing. It make it difficult.

I'm a bigger David Benavidez fan than I am Bivel. Because I really only discovered Bivel when he fought Canelo. I've been following David Benavidez since just after I moved in here really.

I used to watch him on my little telly sitting in my big black squeaky chair. Yeah. So that was that was a good bill as well.

I remember what sitting up to watch that. I had a date. I had a date that was probably one of my last dates I ever had.

We were sitting there and I was watching the boxing. The weird thing about it is why was it on? I wouldn't have been up all night watching it. So I'm thinking who we're looking at here.

David Benavidez. So we go back to go back to David Benavidez. David Benavidez.

Okay, here we go. Antony Yard. So David Benavidez must have, I keep saying his name.

He must have been fighting in the UK in order for me to watch it. Because I didn't stay up all night that day. That night.

I'm sure it was I might be wrong. Blimey. It looks like I did really stay up to four in the morning watching the boxing.

Ah, unless it was before we took about 2016. So it wasn't 2014. Pretty sure it wasn't 2015.

It might be might be in 2015. But I reckon 2016. But every fight he had was in America.

Which means Wow. I think it was no wouldn't be in 2019. That's all could have been.

Could have been 2019 Antony Durrell. So I had a date and we sat up all night watching boxing. That must have been the most boring day she ever had.

Wow. She wasn't into boxing. I don't think I was.

Yeah, it wasn't a very exciting day. Although I did get a pizza out from Domino's. That's quite exciting.

But those that was a time when you could order a pizza like early hours of the morning. Can't do that anymore. I think they close quite early now.

For deliveries. Here's something I heard someone moaning about. Pizza Hut.

A friend of mine went to Pizza Hut with her daughter. And she was told that she couldn't pay by cash. And she couldn't pay by a card.

She had to download an app and pay on the app. So she said no I'm out of here then and her daughter said I want to eat here. And I was thinking surely not.

But yeah, they don't take cash anymore. Not since about 2019. It's just I just find that weird.

I know there's some places that don't accept cash anymore at all. And I generally wouldn't go into a place like that on principle. Because we need to keep cash.

I don't think having a cashless society is necessarily the best thing. Especially for people that don't. He's barking.

Is there someone at the door? There's no one at the door because I've got the camera on charge. It doesn't mean there's no one at the door but I can't hear if someone is at the door. That's what I meant.

Yeah, that's what he meant. All spec savers two glasses two for one glasses for £70. Now you tell me.

Oh dear. So a good weekend of boxing and I've already got a whole like boxing show to watch today from earlier this morning. That was in Australia.

So when there's a show in Australia, or there's a show in Japan, it starts around nine 10 o'clock in the morning. Wow, brilliant. Perfection.

In America, generally starts around one two in the morning, UK time. And I'm talking about UK time here. And the shows in the UK, you just start around seven ish in the evening.

Now the shows in Dubai, or the shows run by Dubai quite often start about three in the afternoon, three or four in the afternoon and go on to like 1112 depending on if it's like a really big show. So I like the well the Australian and Japanese fights. If it's like a big show.

I mean, Inui is pretty much the biggest star in boxing. So not physically, because he's tiny, but like as far as boxers go, he is a superstar. And that's on a Saturday morning.

It's perfect, isn't it? And then Saturday evening. If I'm going to get up early, I probably won't watch the whole boxing on Saturday evening. Because I want to watch the whole of the show on Sunday morning.

Because it's a big show. I mean, technically, I could watch it back later on in the day. But I want to watch it live.

Because I haven't seen David Benavidez fight for a while. About a year I think it is. Is it a year since you last fought before Anthony Yard? It wasn't was it only November? It doesn't feel like just November.

But hey, it's still what five, five months ago. Six, five, six months ago. So yeah, it's half a year.

It's nearly a year, isn't it? Half year is nearly a year. It's a year with a little bit taken off. Yeah.

In my brain. I'm trying to think what else happened. Today, I took Vin out a few times.

Three times. I made two recordings. I made a hypnosis recording.

Yeah, I made a hypnosis recording this morning. And I put the rubbish out as well after that. But I also then I edited last night's recording.

Because I went to bed fairly early last night. And then I edited and uploaded that one. And then later on, probably about midday time, I edited and uploaded the hypnosis recording I did.

So I've uploaded two recordings today. But this is the second recording I'm actually recording. And I probably release this tomorrow morning.

It's now seven o'clock. I'm going to be in bed by nine at the latest. So I'm going to go and get myself something to eat.

And then I'm going to, if I watch something on telly, or I might watch the boxing that I missed, I'm not sure. I might do that tomorrow. It's Thursday tomorrow.

And then what I might do tomorrow morning, when I get up, it is nice and quiet, because early hours, I'll make a recording, a hypnosis recording. And then after my breakfast, I will edit and upload today, this recording now. And then probably midday or whatever, I'll edit and upload the hypnosis recording.

So it's about, I need to have no barking or anything, or noise in the garden when I'm doing the hypnosis recording. And if I do it early enough, generally it's fairly quiet. And if I try and do it too late at night, I'm tired.

Especially once I take my medication, which I take with my dinner, with my evening meal, I'm zonked out a bit. I'll be honest, I'm just like, ugh, ready for bed. And first thing in the morning, before my breakfast, if it's not too early, I can generally, okay, I do fall asleep a little bit still.

Oh, you're looking up at me. You're so cute, Vinny. Not cute enough for me to give in.

I'm determined that he's going to eat his dinner. It's so hard though, because he's got these eyes. I mean, you could argue that most dogs have eyes, but he looks up, he's so innocent.

It's just, I don't know, the brown eyes just staring at me, almost giving me the impression of kindness and love. I don't know. Anyway, I'm going to go.

Thanks for listening and remember to be kind to yourself because you do deserve to be happy. Be gentle with yourself. You deserve to feel safe.

Lots of love. Bye. Bye.
