Hello, hello, hello, hello. Welcome to... Let me bore you to sleep. I've already bored myself already within the first sentence.

Wow. Today is a day late Q&A Friday. So it's actually Saturday the 2nd of May 2026.

Yes. And I think I've messed up somewhere along the line. Oh, okay.

Oh well. I actually did do a recording this morning. A sleep hypnosis recording called focusing on nothing.

And I put down the date as the 2nd of May. For some reason, I thought was the 2nd of May. But it isn't, is it? It's the 1st of May.

No, it's I put down the 1st of May, but it's the 2nd of May. I'll have to correct that. What a strange thing to have done.

So yeah, this is the second week in a row where I've done the Q&A Friday on a Saturday. The reason for yesterday's cabackle, babackle, shabackle, whatever you want to call it. That's not really any reason to be honest.

I had a visitor from a neighbor and then I went and saw another neighbor. And before I knew it, a lot of time had gone by and then I was very, very tired. And I had to go for a nap and the day was gone.

Then I realized it's a bank holiday weekend. So I'm definitely not going out today. Well, look, I've not been out.

It's actually half past four now. And can't really do anything tomorrow or Monday because bank holiday Monday. But Tuesday, I'm going to go up to the opticians and pay for my glasses.

Hopefully, hopefully, they will be ready to collect the following Tuesday when I go back. If I have to go back into town to have a tooth out and two fillings. I think I'll collect the glasses first.

To be honest, I can't imagine what that conversation will be like. I can't work with my glasses. What's that, sir? I can't work with my glasses.

Oh, I'm not sure. I'm having a little bit of difficulty understanding you. Can I take your name, please? No, it wouldn't work really, would it? No.

And I'm gonna have to get a taxi back because getting a bus, I'm just gonna be dribbling. I'm literally, I won't be able to fill my entire mouth. And that's never happened before.

I've had a tooth out. I've had a filling. I've never had both at the same time.

I've never had both sides of my mouth numbed at the same time. However weird this might sound, I almost wish they'd done it separate. Like done the fillings on a different day.

And did the tooth out a different day, you know? So that I had a bit of space between. Because I'm literally, I'm gonna struggle to talk for a while. I don't know how I'm gonna eat.

I won't be able to eat on one side of my mouth because both sides will be. And I have to eat in the middle, won't I? I have to do it like, eat like an alien. Like the alien movies.

I have to use my other set of teeth. The pop out. What am I talking about? I don't know.

So please only listen when you can. Safely close your eyes. So I did this recording this morning.

Called Focus on Nothing. And it was supposed to be a meditative, relaxing, sleep hypnosis. Kind of, not body scan, but you know, around that line of just focusing on nothingness and all that stuff.

And I seemed to end up talking. How long was the recording? 50 minutes and 47 seconds. Talking absolute garbage.

Now that might not surprise a lot of you. But it was really, I don't know where it's all coming from. Right, I've now got some music started in a different, a neighbor.

I hope it's not too loud. The dogs have been going at it. It's been like a kennel.

Kennel's outside today. I've heard at least five dogs all barking at the same time, at different times. Including Billy.

So yeah, it's, I think it's that time of year where everybody's out in the gardens. Who's got a garden. And Vinnie was at his mum's.

So she was in the garden. He was in the garden. And I was in the garden as well, having a cup of tea.

And the next door neighbor was visiting, or had a visitor, and they had a little dog. And Vinnie was going absolutely berserk over the new dog. Then there's a dog over the back.

Then there's a dog over the other backside. Then there's a dog over the fence. So that's five dogs, including Vin-Vin.

It was very noisy. It really was. And occasionally I hear a lot of dogs barking, but not usually.

And not for long. But it's been a lot of doggy activity. A lot of dogging, I guess.

Is that what dogging means? It's been a lot of dogging, in the local neighborhood. Did, did, did, did, did. I'm practicing for when I have my tooth removed.

The local and neighborhood dogging, dogging. So lots of dogs barking. And that's what that means.

And it's just another word for taking your dog for a walk. So I know my friend, I had a neighbor. Don't really knew her very well, but she did so fancy going dogging.

I said, yeah, okay, I'll go and get Vinnie. And she said, what? I said, I'll go and get Vinnie. She said, why? I just laughed.

What a weird thing to say. Why? Let's go and take the dog for a walk. I'll go and get my dog.

Why? Strange. But yeah, so got Vinnie, we went out and. It's really weird because I was amazed at how many people I saw that are out in the fields who didn't have dogs with them.

It's weird. So sort of like, what does it mean taking your dog for a walk? But you forget your dog. Like home and away.

Well, no, home alone or whatever. I mean, you couldn't get on a plane without your kid, could you? With all the passport controls and everything like that. You literally wouldn't be able to get on a plane and forget a child.

Even if you got to the airport. You'd have all the tickets. You don't buy the tickets there.

You'd buy the tickets beforehand, wouldn't you? Order them online ahead of time, and you'd have to show passports. At some point, like, oh, wait a minute. Why have we got a spare passport? It wasn't the youngest kid as well.

I don't remember. I've not watched it for decades. It was a great movie and it probably still is a great movie, but.

I don't really rewatch movies, although. Oh. I started watching this movie.

I think it's on Netflix. Rebel Moon Part One. Now, I've probably watched 45 minutes of it.

It's really good. And it's a director's cut. It's about three and a half hours long, so I haven't watched all of it.

That'll take me about a month. But it's really good. I actually really like it because it's building this whole kind of world.

It's explaining what everything is as it goes along. And I quite like that because. I think with Star Wars.

After the first three movies. You know, episode four, five and six still couldn't get my head around that. But yeah, after the first three movies, I found it a little bit confusing to follow it all.

Plus, I couldn't be bothered to put the energy in. Plus. I didn't really like them very much.

I don't know what I think. I mean, I don't know if I even watched all of them. I watched the first one probably because it was a, you know, it's a novelty, wasn't it? Like, oh, what's going to happen here? What I really wanted was a follow up to.

The, what is it? Because you got Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi. I wanted the next one to that. I didn't want, I wasn't interested in what happened before.

Really. So I think the fourth movie, just my personal opinion, but for me to be interested, my fourth, the fourth movie, I think should have followed up. And had the same characters in like they did later on.

But when everyone was younger, you know, why wait until 20 years later to do it just. I don't know, maybe it's just me. It might just be me.

But I would have liked to have seen Luke Skywalker and his sister who he kissed and the. Harrison Ford when they were still. Fairly young.

You know, I mean, still kind of. Because the later movies, they were all. Not to say old, but.

A lot older, weren't they? Yeah, I did like the ones. Like the. The Last Jedi.

I have to look this up, actually. Star Wars movies. I just like the ones that had the original stars in.

The Star Wars movies. Star Wars 1977 to present. Star for other years.

The movie be be be be. Did he did the books, comics. Movies, films, list of films.

right so you have 1999 this is very strange why can't it just be 1997 1977 the film Star Wars then 1980 the Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi 83 formed the original trilogy I'm reading this by the way I'm not ad-libbing then 20 years later the prequel trilogy The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith so I think it's a shame they couldn't have done The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker as the next three 20 years later as opposed to waiting they didn't wait a huge amount of time did they really but the first three spin-off films produced were the made-for-television Star Wars holiday special the Ewok Adventure, Ewoks the Battle for Endor really they've done a lot of Star Wars bits and Bob-seventeen as well okay you know I like the last three movies and then of course they did they did the other one didn't they or was that on its own the the one with what about the one with Indiana Jones the Indiana Jones one standalone films okay so you've got a rogue one a Star Wars story but what about the one with what's his name I'm confused now wasn't there one with Han Solo solo yes solo the Star Wars story see why they not included that in the Star Wars catalogue huh so that was good I like that and that was very weird starring who starring Alden Ekerich Woody Harrelson Emilia Clarke are you telling me that he wasn't even in it no how can how can solo not be in the movie about solo it's because it's when he was younger no but I'm sure there was a movie that was about solo you know you know the Indiana Jones that's gonna bug me it's gonna bug me a bit hmm okay so if I go to Harrison Ford it's got to come up oh he's done a few too many movies for it to be on the same page isn't it yeah of course he has film filmography blah blah blah here we go well this Star Wars was his very first movie dead heat on a merry-go-round was his very first movie and it's uncredited in 1966 11 years before Star Wars Wow and they're weird did you know the first and second Superman movie the original movies with Christopher Reeves were both filmed at the same time did you know that you didn't you see I do believe the same thing happened with Star Wars 2 and Star Wars 3 they filmed them both at the same time but I can't bother to look into it I'm pretty sure that's true I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure it might be true Star Wars the rise of Skywalker uncredited cameo okay Indiana Jones and the dial of destiny 2023 I don't remember watching that Star Wars the force awakens 2015 but he wasn't in the other Star Wars one so the Skywalker what was it called Skywalker something no it's in a film called morning glory who's also in Captain America and he why don't I spoil it for you but he was the Red Hulk they can't really spoil it because when they show him he's got he's got Indiana Jones his face the Hulk does why am I talking about this I got no idea let's get to the questions shall we before I start I need to say thank you to Heidi for your kind PayPal gift thank you very much Heidi I have sent you a message by email and let you know I've got a YouTube channel where you can listen to all of my recordings I've got a website Jason Newland comm again all my recordings are uploaded so you can stream them later and I upload my recordings my videos to X Instagram and tick-tock I also have a Facebook group called Jason Newlands boring group so here we go which you can join if you wanna if you wanna wanna wanna wanna so I haven't got many questions today and Mike and Shanthani have asked me questions so the first question from Anne is what was your favorite and least favorite subject in school I think I know it's not technically a subject but assembly on a Friday afternoon that was my favorite lesson the Friday afternoon lesson that was the last lesson of the week that was my favorite lesson whatever it was that was my favorite even if it was maths that still be my favorite lesson because it was the last one of the week favorite yeah least favorite subject maths maths geography history I didn't even really like cookery part of reason for that is because I had to keep lugging all this stuff to school like pots and pans and all that crap just like you'd think they'd have them in the school wouldn't you I just had my own baking trays my own forks me I mean like this is silly I'd carry so it's like heavier than I was so yeah that that was a bit I mean I only chose that subject because we've got a choice to choose subjects I think in the third year it was just I chose anything that was non-academic like drama cookery or home economics I think with it I mean you could suppose you could say like metal work and woodwork is non-academic but I didn't like either of those metal work couldn't stand hated the smell and just metal oh see yeah didn't didn't like metal work but in the first and second year I had to do woodwork and metal work I think didn't like either of those didn't really see the point I mean I kind of do now as I look back thinking well there's a tradition like my ancestors would have well I said well my granddad was really good with wood yeah he made clocks and tables and all kinds of stuff and you might say I didn't make a clock you might argue well how how does your granddad make a clock out of wood there's too many bits and bobs in it's not all made of wood is it I'm talking about the casing not the insides of the clock he'd like buy a normal clock and then put this the wood around it to make it look lovely he had a cuckoo clock he had something where the what he called hand towels kitchen roll would be so kitchen holder in the shape of two eagles either side he had what else did he have hmm I'm not sure I can't remember but he had a shed he didn't build a shed although the shed was made of wood I don't have proof of that actually not that it was made of wood that he didn't build it because he may well have built it because it's something he probably could have done I don't know but it's a nice shed and I mean I'm not a fan of sheds and I'm not I'm not a connoisseur of sheds to the point of being able to tell you what's a good shed and what's a bad shed but he liked it and he produced a lot of things from that shed he also used to grow bonsai trees and he was a keen gardener he really looked after the garden and that's something that we both sort of took in common he was green fingers and so was I he's just because of working the garden and mine was because I picked my nose so what was I talking about my granddad woodwork wood yeah this wasn't for me really I just yeah I didn't really it sounds a little bit negative because I'm answering this question talking about all the things I didn't like but if I mention the things I did like then I mean even RE which I liked the teachers but I didn't find it particularly interesting before I went to high school I loved English loved English and I was fairly pleased or happy to be in any lesson when I was in junior school so I didn't get any hassle about not being very good or you know didn't feel judged really and I know that you know my handwriting was getting better and I was reading lots so I kind of felt somewhat accomplished in even if I was behind I didn't perhaps I didn't realize I was behind but I knew that I was putting effort in and the teacher seemed to recognize that he said well done Jason you're a big boy good boy good boy and let's see if you can read the next letter of the alphabet next week good boy you're gonna learn the alphabet it's gonna take you many years but we'll do it yeah good boy that wasn't quite that bad but I was behind I was very behind in school and there's a multiple of reasons I mean I just found out that I've got a lazy eye which my right eye has been compensating for I knew I had a lazy eye when I was 15 I just didn't really know what it meant I've had explained to me 30 years later 40 years later oh my goodness 40 years 40 55 40 years I left school 40 years ago how can that even be possible 40 years 40 55 by 40 50 and an advice of 15 years plus 40 55 40 years I left school Wow there was a time that I used to shock me when I think I left school 10 years ago and I'd be like wow this is when I was like 25 like 10 years and then like 20 years ago I left school because my voice got higher as I got older 20 years ago I left school and I got to 30 anyway it's like 40 years I can't get my head around it I just can't I'll be honest with you I can't I just can't it doesn't matter what I do I just can't wrap my mind around the idea that it's been four decades since I walked out of that school for the last time full of full of ambition I had no ambitions full of no dreams or ambitions all my dreams and ambitions were gone by the time I got to leaving school before that I did have dreams and ambitions so when I don't know if the family was still stable but when I was doing karate in school when I was school and doing karate I wanted to continue to do karate continue to do martial arts you know get my black belt become really good at it maybe go to Australia and learn monkey boxing it's not you know box with a monkey but it's a monkey style of kung fu and I had books on that and I had books on Wing Chun and I just I wanted to make that my life and get out of here you know get away from where I was maybe not straight away because I wanted to get my black belt but I like the idea of traveling to Australia and spending a few months there learning the style or maybe staying there for a few years learning the monkey boxing style but it never came about although there was someone I think Simon Whitrod I think his name is let's have a look this is Simon this is gonna be really weird I forgot the name right wouldn't it?

Simon Wing Chun I don't know Wing Chun PDF why is it can't like that for it might not be Simon Whitrod learn wing no Wing Chun it's definitely name was Whitrod anyway I I used to read all about I say all the martial arts magazines there's only two I think but it was there's a like a thing about I think his name is Simon but it's Saifu Saifu anyway it's Saifu which is like trainer Whitrod and he was basically I think he's one of the first English people to go to China and learn Wing Chun that that particular style of Wing Chun and not Wing Chun praying mantis sorry that style of Kung Fu praying mantis and I remember watching it thinking oh I'd like to learn that I'd like to learn praying mantis because I used to see it in the movies like with the Jackie Chan the old movies where he'd do all these different styles and that and they'd always announce the style of Kung Fu they were going to do next that literally they'd be fighting each other they'd just stop and say now dragon tail bum Kung Fu and they'd do all that and then everyone said monkey style boxing because they'd make the sound of the animal and then everyone would say praying mantis I don't know what the sound of a praying mantis is but and they'd have their fingers hooked and yeah and I just thought you know what that's hilarious I need to learn that well when I moved to Stratford I didn't know did not know that he was living there he was training in Stratford and praying mantis mantis so I say mantis mantis praying Paul Whitrod it wasn't his Paul not Simon I don't know why I just remembered Paul Whitrod now I didn't see it unless you're thinking oh you just know haven't because it wasn't in any of that part of the page I just had the memory Paul no it's definitely not anywhere on there so let me go down Paul homepage mantis Paul Whitrod modern wellness ancient roots unlock the power of martial arts mindfulness and movement he still looking good I mean considering he's probably got to be blimey if he was he's got to be a fair bit older than me not that it matters but he I was a kid when he was in the magazine he was probably in his 20s so he might have been in his 30s to be fair if he was in his 30s when I was in my 20s he's not much older than me is he he doesn't it looks like he could be in his 60s now but he had this huge gym or martial arts place and it was on the Romford Road I came over it by accident because at the time because I moved to London I kind of lost interest in martial arts I'd lost interest in well I was doing comedy so that's what I was focused on but I didn't when it came to fitness or anything like that I was working really really poorly paid jobs so it was just like enough to live on so I didn't really have any activities or hobbies or anything like that and I was just walking down the road I think towards the library and I saw this sign something like crow praying mantis what is it I forget the name of it but it was chow gar wow yeah chow crow chow gar southern praying mantis kung-fu now I could have done that for 11 years and become like really good at it I did go went a few times but the first time I went I just couldn't afford it I just even though it wasn't much I just couldn't I just no money I just like literally was just had like what I had to eat I was working I was earning like a hundred pound a week so I was 40 pound for rent the rest was food and I'd have to pay for everything else out of that you know some electricity travel and all that stuff so to get to the comedy clubs so I kind of gave up on that one this was like early 90s and then 2000 and one he moved closer to where I lived he literally moved nearly across the road from where I lived at the time so I started going there I felt went with my cousin actually so I went there a few times and then I moved away from London so I wasn't you know it kind of didn't happen because I moved away as in life you know I mean I sometimes think about should I write a book I can literally write a book about all the things I would do different and I could write a book a day on that it'd be a short book a day but I could let's say write a book a week and just all the things that I wish I'd done differently or would like to explore the idea of doing differently especially when it comes to the martial arts I've done quite a bit over the years and I never got to the level of being any good really so it would be nice if I'd got my black belt with the karate I had a couple of years left to get there I would have got in like yeah I reckon two years so by the time I was 17 18 I'd have been a black belt I just needed to carry carry on going when I left school because my job entailed working evenings I just gave up on on that and then I didn't really do any martial arts I did go to the gym and stuff like workout but didn't do any martial arts until Wing Chun in 2004 and that was with what's his name master Wong and he had to go and he had this big hall that he used to use I think they they knocked it down so he had to move out but and they gave him some notice whoever they are the landlords I suppose and I think he started doing his course and teaching people to go and then to be on trainers and that to be trainers to other people I mean so I did that throughout 2004 but then I went and got another job that was evening working so it kind of didn't leave my evenings free although I might have made that as an excuse I'm not 100% sure and then I went to when I started my degree I actually did go to karate and jiu-jitsu in the 2000s like around the middle to about 2005 2006 but I just it wasn't for me anymore I didn't really fancy kicking and the jiu-jitsu the bloke that was teaching me in a suburb man he was too rough it's like almost he was chucking us around just having fun basically with us and I didn't like it really yeah I didn't like it so and in two thousand and was it 2008 I started going to the boxing club so I went there for about a year year and a half or something and then by that time I was kind of pretty much finished or nearly finished my degree and then in 2011 I started doing taekwondo and the last time I went there was I'm not even sure it might be when I was living here but I think it was 2014 so the last time I went there was 2014 and my back was I couldn't do anything anymore couldn't I had a break I hadn't been there for a little while because I've been you know unwell but then my back was just gone I couldn't do what I used to be able to do and so I left I've never ever walked out of a training in my life apart from that one time that's even with broken bones I've never walked out I've hobbled out I've never walked and when I got my my rib broke in doing Wing Chun but I still stayed there if I'd known it was broken I probably would have left to be honest so taekwondo is the one I spent most time at and yeah not that I was any good but I just spent the most time there I did a few gradings got first-class pass and then I stopped going I can't remember why and then eventually yes gradually it sort of just I kind of quit and then I went back a couple of times and then I then I kind of didn't go back for a little while then I went back once and I was just I couldn't I couldn't do anything so I decided that was it for me hmm so some might think what's that got to do with the questions see I need someone to bring me back to the questions so my favorite and least favorite subjects in school favorite subject I did the thing I liked about cooking is if we make cakes I could eat it I could eat the cakes I liked I liked eating cakes yeah I did I think when it came to cooking home economics it was better than any other subject and it's not just in a sense of I don't know I don't know really I just it is better I didn't particularly enjoy it but I did have a laugh and I mean you know it's a nice smell it's because I was food being cooked and cakes and stuff that's good yeah and I was I used to stay at home not stay at home I used to spend time in the kitchen with my first step-mom and we used to make cakes together so you know it's got no idea what I just said then I literally fell asleep while I was talking I said something like see yeah and I can't listen to it right now because I'm literally talking all right what's the next question which countries have you traveled to or in brackets every single one which was your favorite one okay let's go through every single one in order okay so Belgium I'm gonna do in order order of visitation or visiting Belgium Belgium and Belgium I think I went to Scotland when I was a little kid and the next place I went to was the pee pee pee pee pee pee I'm trying to think what was the next place Spain Spain Spain yes Spain for the afternoon then France for a few days and then Spain what was after Spain so France sorry France Spain then France then after France did not go anywhere abroad until 2000 no 1994 when I went to Ireland so went back to Ireland went there well lived there for a while but I went back and forward back there and came back twice so went back and visited again a few months after I left hmm 94 I don't think I went anywhere for the rest of the 90s 94 95 96 went to collect good to collect and I technically is not abroad is it two thousand yeah so I remember what the question was so yes and 94 95 95 96 97 98 99 1000 1001 oh yeah I got one 2002 I went to Bulgaria after Bulgaria hmm 2002 Bulgaria nothing 2003 four five six seven yeah what was after Bulgaria Oh 2004 I went to the Isle of Man aptly named the Isle of Man went to Thailand technically I've been to Dubai and to Sweden but they were just drop-offs where the the plane had to land and refuel and been to Cornwall but yeah that's just kind of it really Ireland just trying to remember to see if there's any other places that I've been no I'm not a particularly well traveled old man but I guess I would quite like to very quiet I think that's why I'm falling asleep a bit because there's no dogs barking I'm not moaning just saying there's no dogs barking in the background no one in the garden shouting and it's not even half-past five in the afternoon it's quite pleasurable my favorite countries I'll always have a soft spot for for Belgium just because I traveled there three times hmm I've decided to fill that void of sound I did I liked Spain the little bit I saw I liked the the air in Spain well that might sound weird it's very much drier than here yeah I liked the it's not so much a temperature but I like the air in Spain I still remember now I've never been anywhere like that before France yeah that was a bit of an adventure because I didn't even know I was going to France I was on the way to Kent because my landlord and landlady didn't want to leave me in their home while they were on holiday for a week or two so they decided that I had to go somewhere else for two weeks so I said oh I'll go and see my my first step-mum so I thought that she might put me up I thought she might help me I don't know what I thought I hadn't seen her since the two years at that point anyway we picked up or the person driving the car picked up a what's it you know a thumb thummy man I was now someone talking in the garden the dog would be out there now I can't it's almost like I complained wasn't it I complained it was too quiet so there was a hitchhiker and I picked him up and he did not stop talking couldn't stand him didn't stop talking can't ask me questions about myself I just thought what do you want to know why and they really liked him and in the end but I don't know why but I kind of came around to liking him a little bit and he said he was going to France did I want to come along I said yeah all right because he was going to meet up with a he's like his best friend who was teaching mountain climbing I think because he was in the Alps so we got on a ferry from Dover to go over to France Calais I think and then between hitchhiking and trains and buses or ever we traveled across France for about five days maybe six days five days and then we came home and I think he even gave me money to get to get the coach back to where I lived and he hitched back that's the kind of person he was at the time I didn't appreciate it I'll be honest I didn't but I think I'm kind of a bit behind in appreciation it's come later in my life maybe it's just yeah maybe is this a an older thing as I've got older I started to feel a more appreciation towards those people have helped me over the years and a lot of people have helped me if I get out if I like I think positively a lot of people we all get helped even if we perhaps not aware of it or appreciate it at the time a lot of people out there that like to help Bulgaria was one of my favorites because not because of the holiday not because of snowboarding because I couldn't stand that I liked hanging around in the hotel with the it was fun I just enjoyed that that was my I just enjoyed yeah I just enjoyed it speaking to people learning a few of the words and just chilling out on my own with the staff I got to know them and other than that I can't up get get get off stuff please Vinnie you don't have to go you haven't got to make noise all the time not all the time I said no he looks at me like he's giving me the side eye there's a bag and he wants to grab hold of it because it's a like an old biscuit bag and he wants to grab it probably to see if there's any crumbs in there I know what you're up to Vinnie I know what you're up to so the Isle of Man technically not another country but is if there's a sea if the cross the sea to get somewhere I kind of class that as a separate country you know if it's an island it's a I don't know if it is not but it is an island definitely so the Isle of Man I I think I liked it I can't remember but I don't think I'd want to go back I'm not I just didn't really meet anybody it was almost like there was no one there yeah it was like the one of the quietest places I've ever been ever which I don't mind just yeah it's a I don't know France I wouldn't be I mean I guess it'd be nice to go back but I did go to Paris that's be nice to go to Paris and stay in a hotel or something like that Spain it'd be nice to go back just to re-experience that I'm trying to think yeah Thailand I'd like to go back to Thailand because when I went I was had a chest infection and a broken rib so that didn't quite work out so well for me apart from the fact that I did manage to give away hundreds of meals so that that felt good so I guess I quite like to just yeah I think that's that's it really what I'd like to do I can't believe I'm half fallen asleep while I'm doing this because I haven't had my afternoon nap that's why so that's Mike's questions my favorite one I don't know I hope I haven't been to my favorite one yet that's why I hope because there's some places I'd like to visit like Denmark Sweden places like that that I think I might enjoy going to I'd also like to visit Japan China it'd be nice you know for lots of different places to once I was there travel around so once I was in Europe I get real good advice for someone before going where they could you know stare at me if I'm doing something wrong but yeah so I'd kind of I'd like to what I would like to do is get on a I'd like to go on cruises I've mentioned this before I'd like to go on cruises with excursions where you can go on go on land and stuff if you want to and ideally okay if I did cruises it'd have to be short cruises at the moment because of Vinny but you know in the future I'd quite like to do some long worldwide cruises instead of your mummy couldn't you for a couple of months couple of weeks whatever so that would be nice I'd like to go on some cruises and you know stop over for a couple of days where I could maybe go on on the shore and I don't know I think it'd be cool to have some experience to talk about that I don't really do much do I this I know that no one writes this you know it's not like I've got a team of writers for me obviously but I just think it'd be more interesting for everyone if I actually I don't know just generally I fully fully feel happy I probably feel more alive you know more interested and that might come across it might be in too interesting the podcast right so the next question the last question Shanthi is what is a food you find absolutely disgusting that's a very easy one well there's quite a few peanut butter it's not the taste you probably guess what it is but peanut butter I'm gonna say for obvious reasons and if doesn't if anyone doesn't understand what the obvious reason is then fine because I'm not I'm not into trying to get other people to feel the same way I do just yeah peanut butter is not my thing marmite I know that's like a cliche you love it or you hate it and yeah yeah no marmite yeah I've tried it but no other things custard cannot stand custard do can't stand custard at all in any shape or form it's the texture just don't like it and what's those things semolina yeah semolina is another one but no way dogs barking again I'll tell you what I do have trouble eating and it's not because I don't like the taste because I do coconut I just struggled to eat it I can't like it just but it tastes nice and just trying to think what else so custard and I don't know offal liver liver is one of the whip no I'm not into that and I'm trying to think what other foods I just not a big fan of mayonnaise no thank you no thank you very much really no seriously thank you so much but no now some people I think why is it the texture but I'm thinking it can't be a texture because I love salad cream and mayonnaise is I guess quite fair fairly similar kind of texture love salad cream on with chips it's the only thing I like salad cream with the salads okay as well but outside I actually had salad here yeah mayonnaise okay I tell you only thing that I can just about stand it with is tuna fish sandwiches if it's sort of thinned out and shared appropriately with with the bread so one of the things one of the things DBDDD hmm after working in a chip shop for two years I was completely off chips you know fried chips just couldn't stand them couldn't stand the smell the book nothing and I did used to go into McDonald's and have the fries but really for years I didn't have chips until I was probably late 20s that's not totally true I did have some in my middle 20s but not regularly you know it's just chips weren't I told you so often they were soggy but you know chips chips I like chips now but you know the chip shop chips or they'd never by the time I get around this soggy I don't like soggy chips I like crispy crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside that's how a chip should be but they don't stay that way if you wrap them up so this is a different way to do it I was daydreaming just daydreaming I'm kind of just on the verge of being I'm semi asleep right now it's kind of weird of it I can't think of anything oh there is a food I do like but I never eat it watercress that's strange and there is some food that I can't eat because of causing indigestion or heartburn but I like the food as I can't eat it so I can't have a fry up like a big fried breakfast regularly you know I was on holiday and after a couple of days of doing that two or three days my heartburn was just ridiculous and I can't drink lager it causes heartburn no trying to think like pizza my favorite pizza is sweet corn and pineapple and then it's some people I actually get angry hearing anyone say that hmm I'm trying to think what other foods do I might not particularly corned beef although oh my cousin who I lived with he used to make these corned beef pies that were absolutely beautiful like beautiful so corned beef when it's cooked and it's prepared nice it's nice but in sandwiches I don't know I think I used to have them in sandwiches when I was at school and I didn't like them didn't like corned beef sandwiches I think I used to chuck them in the bin which is wrong I know but chucking away food and that I just didn't like them what what food absolutely I'm trying to think of anything else the custard semolina hmm no I don't think I can think of anything else that really is I'm not a big fan of beetroot yeah but I will eat a little if there's some beetroot on a salad if you just give me a plate of beetroot I'm like no thanks cheers no thanks what kind of restaurant is this what kind of wedding is this no but with a salad and with some salad cream and if there's some potatoes some little potatoes as well I might have a little bit of beetroot and mix that in with maybe some tomato or some lettuce and you know maybe some chips if there's you know fried chips with that no can't think of anything else Oh patty not patty tins of meat generally I don't like and I don't like the grind fat on meat so see for example bacon unless it's done to a crisp then yeah that's a different situation altogether but yeah I can't think of anything else there must be some stuff must be some things I don't worry no I can't think of anything else I guess I'm kind of for old cold eggs cold eggs no no no no no I'll eat any eggs that are hot not any eggs if I'm not in the mood I'm just gonna like randomly hand me a hot egg in the middle of the supermarket or like if I'm on the toilet I'm like no thanks I'm busy but I like eggs if they're fried poached boiled boiled yeah different ways what else what else what else yeah caviar it's not something I particularly want no can't think of anything else eggs sausages tuna pork I don't really enjoy pork I'm not a big fan of lamb either really I'm not a big meat eater generally but I suppose chicken turkey and beef very basic you know person but no pork pork I'd never choose to eat pork by lamb I'm okay with but again I'm not really big fan of lamb I'm falling asleep here so I can't think of any other foods off the top of my head there's probably loads Oh ribs I don't mind ribs but I'm not a big fan of food where I get my hands really dirty you know wash my hands and that afterwards so just like oh so especially if it's like ribs and all the sauce is like God's everywhere man no I can't think of anything else it's gonna bug me now because when I finish the recording I bet other things will pop into my mind no no that's just all I can come up with doggy doggy treats biscuits don't like them it's weird especially like the the gravy ones bite them into it bite into it like and it's it's almost like hollow inside and it goes and make so many different pizzas and it goes everywhere I had a real issue with Weetabix for years years and years and years and years and then I did I loved it I don't know what it was but I couldn't stand Weetabix literally for over I don't know how long but a long time no I can't think of anything else so I'm gonna go thank you for listening remember to be kind to yourself because you do deserve to be happy and be gentle with yourself you deserve to feel safe thank you everyone that had the questions so if the answer is a bit rubbish I take care bye
