definitely than The phone so i'm using the iphone in order to get the sound To broadcast But i've got it plugged into my microphone So i've just tested and the sound seems quite good which i'm pleased about But Again, I don't know how stable the internet's going to be because I've had some problems Damon says mica Mica Mica was the muppet the site was it mica or beaker mica was the muppet the scientist assistant now Damon I hate to break it to you.

It's probably just me The thing is with this microphone If I walk to the other side of the room I'm not going to because then you can see that i'm not as slim as I make out Because i'm pretending that i'm like really slim now You can't tell from just you know boobies up. You can't tell but if I walk to the other side of the room But you won't be able to hear me very well.

I actually traveled down a mountain on my face. This is in bulgaria in 2002 Absolutely amazing. I was not very good at it Um hats off to anyone that can do that I also nearly knocked about 16 children off the mountain as well because There was a school.
I guess there was school trip And they were all attached to each other for safety and they were on skis And I lost control and I went right through them and Because they were all kind of I don't know if they would change to chain together or ropes together But they all kind of fell over and yeah, it was an accident I didn't do it on purpose Genuinely I didn't do it on purpose Snowboarding snow Oh, I got it wrong I thought you just spelt snowboarding incorrectly.
Sorry mike snowshoeing I haven't got is that just when you go out? Instead of snowboards you just wear shoes. So basically just walking in the snow Is that is that what snowshoeing is? I like the snow The things I struggled with When I went to bulgaria the best thing to me the bulgaria was Being inside the hotel That was the best part of it and Going skiing or going snowboarding was the worst part of it I like being around the snow.
I like seeing the snow and something really weird happened.
I actually When I got on the plane I had a cold When I got off the plane Into the air in bulgaria the cold left me instantly Or did I have it in the evening and then I woke up and I was fine something like that I was a month later But yeah, I I had a cold not like a bad like cold But I definitely had a bit of a cold coming on and it just left Different, you know because I was this was probably march time So it was quite nice weather here end of february march.
So the weather was okay in this country By the end of february, it's usually fairly mild sometimes even sunny and nice And there it was snowing and it was It was cold but it wasn't that cold it was cold Yeah, it was cold but it wasn't you know seriously cold I think the weird thing about it was I knew this was a thing.
I just didn't couldn't get my head around it So i'm on the top of the mount well i'm on the top of a mountain It's hot So all wrapped up the sun's shining And the snow's not melting It's weird because you know in this country if you if you've got snow on the ground and the sun's out all day Chances are there'd be no snow at the end of the day And I realize it's probably not gonna melt the entire mountain But I couldn't believe that I got sunburned So I got sunburned and then I landed down the mountain on my face.
So I was completely Like burnt on my face Weirdly enough, no one noticed because that's what I look like all the time But I did I had scabs on my skin because I literally am burn marks going down the mountain So I stayed in probably Every other day I stayed in the hotel Mike says we have three to four feet of snow on the ground Three to four feet.
I'm, just trying to think so my feet I don't know what a foot is Is that what is a foot? So if it's three or four of my feet one two three four five That'd be like six I just realized i'm six i'm not six foot. Am I? Five foot three to four feet.
So that'd be kind of up to my chest I guess like nipple nipple area I'm, not sure if we're allowed to say nipple anymore nipple nipple nipple So yeah, probably up to about there.
I imagine so that's that's really deep I don't think in my lifetime i've ever Experienced snow like wherever i'm living that is As deep as that ever Never more than probably knee height One to one to one point two meters Yeah, we don't do meters here we do do meters but we don't we're very much feet I just inches Because normally because we get such a small amount of snow In i've got to keep saying we I live in the south of england so we Even though we're a tiny little country We have different weather even compared to the north of the country Which is like 10 minutes walk up the road It's not really but you know,
we I live in a very mild part of the country weather-wise It's very windy today But it's not nothing compared to what they had in scotland Or in ireland, which again is just not that far away Really I mean it's obviously across the ocean, but it's not like a long way but scotland's not But scotland's still a distance. It's what 300 miles six 600 miles away 700 300 400 500.
I don't know how far away is scotland Okay, let's have a look let's wanna Do do to scotland So it is Wow, so from here To scotland, which is another country completely different country 441 miles 400 and I know there are some people that travel that distance to get to work like in other countries 441 miles is not a long time. It's not for me. It's a huge huge journey Huge it's another country Blimey, it's a different time zone man.
It's not But i'm pretty sure some people would think 441 miles, it's not a lot What that is in kilometers? I have no idea we don't I say we don't do kilometers here.
We have all the metrics in this country But we don't we still do miles an hour not kilometers an hour although I think on On the speed I think on cars, I think they do also have kilometers as well But it's basically if you get the speed limits are by per hour miles per hour so Um, like an average road in england would be speed limit is 30 miles an hour like a small road going between you know Whatever and then the motorway is There's 60 40 something like that And in some roads leading to the motorway might be 40 It's weird.
I can't really get my head around it.
So We do miles per hour rather than this is this is boring, isn't it? So i'm doing a live broadcast And instead of Showing that i'm not really boring in real life. I'm actually even more boring than I was When i'm purposely trying to be boring When have I ever purposely tried to be boring oi it's rude Come on, darling Hey, baby I wish everyone could see you.

That's right Oh look at him Yes But unfortunately, it's not fair because if I pick him up he'll be upset. I don't want to upset him You know, it might be fun for us To see him and that but unfortunately, he doesn't like it. He really doesn't Unless he climbed onto me I mean the only the only way I could get you to see him as if I went and sat down there Behind me he would climb on well, he probably might climb on me.
He probably wouldn't if I wanted him to But one of the downsides if I pick him up when he doesn't want to especially if I catch him off guard He his trust in me seems to go back to zero again for a while and he doesn't even let me anywhere near him So that's why I don't do it because he he remembers So at the moment I can put my hand out and just give him a stroke Just cuddle him and give him a stroke and stuff if I picked him up Like suddenly picked him up showed you and he was going like Right.
He's actually Hello, mate And then He got off and I'll put my hand to him to give him a stroke he'd run off he wouldn't let me near him It's happened before At least there's a chair behind me which he does climb on which shows that he is actually What's that? What's that? Hey He shows that he does exist. So i'm not just making him up and You know making a weird doggy sound.

So there's only what 207 people on my Facebook group Jason Newland's boring group So i'm thinking maybe I'll do a regular Maybe a regular sunday broadcast on On a sunday afternoon It's just trying to find a good time because I never know if there's going to be loud music I don't know if he's going to be screaming in the garden If he if he's finished going to be barking It's so difficult to really plan a time when it's going to be quiet enough Although I'm thinking that maybe The background sound isn't as noticeable to The people watching or listening as it is to me Because the microphone although it's good.
It doesn't pick up a lot of the other stuff Put a message on Facebook that you're live now But won't they see that on the screen I don't I don't mean that in a I mean I'm Um I thought it just automatically come on because i'm on the app because i'm on Facebook my Facebook group I assumed it would just automatically tell people That i'm on here I wonder if it gives me the opportunity to Contact people Edit post best edit live video what all right copy link.

Let Me Bore You To Sleep And he just zonks out completely just gone completely gone And as soon as I say the word this isn't much I'm going to say because he'll probably jump up As soon as I get to the end of the recording and I say my little thing at the end His ears prick up and he jumps up It's weird it's like he knows that that's the end of the recording I don't know.

It's not going to be to fall asleep But you know it's I'm, not saying people can't fall asleep listening to me doing a live broadcast But there is a chance of loud interruptions Which you know from old ovini manili down there?
If he hears someone slam a door downstairs or something like that He goes from zero to a thousand instantly and There's no way of predicting it it happens sometimes it doesn't happen at all sometimes i'll get a little bit of sound from him like You know and then full on And it makes me jump it really does I mean literally I like oh i'll go like that So, I don't know What would be a good time zone to be able to reach the whole world No,
I don't mean the whole world but just all the time zones I don't expect all seven billion people to tune in you can if you want but I don't want to be greedy But if I could find a good time Zone that suits people in america and australia and uk and canada and the middle east and the whole of europe eastern europe Africa india just a place where I could kind of reach I don't know I'm gonna ask What is what is ideal time for each Facebook Live In order In

Some of it is the Let Me Bore You To Sleep So in that sense i've been fairly busy i've been making recordings and doing that stuff No, I can't think of anything else that I did That was particularly exciting. But if we're going to look for excitement, I'm gonna have to go back probably 24 years If I want to find something the last time I had any kind of excitement, so yeah 24 years ago Yeah Blimey I need a hobby So I I had a windy this yesterday It was cold I mean I talked about that in my podcast yesterday, but I wonder what other podcasts I had.

Nope Feeling safe Q&A Friday. I did a Q&A Friday on friday Very relaxing so that's another hypnosis recording I did This week. Let me boil you sleep 19th of january which was Whatever day Friday 22nd of january Oh, okay.

So that's when I talk about yeah, I had a bit of a blip on monday or tuesday So that was a bit weird and not not not quite as dramatic as how it has been in the past, but It gets harder to drop everything when after all the work I put in, you know So, yeah, that was that I don't know i've been making videos so that's been Every time I do a recording a podcast I do two versions of a video one Normal length and the other one is 10 hours So It yeah, it takes a bit of time to do that The Let Me Bore You To Sleep ones don't get huge numbers But none of them get huge numbers to be fair.
It's quite a small channel at the moment Although there are over 2000 videos, but it's small as far as um Interest Yeah, the hypnosis stuff gets more views I mean, yeah, it just does So that's just the way it is there but at the same time, I mean, maybe Maybe I should just stop doing the Let Me Bore You To Sleep ones on YouTube.
Just stop putting them on there but I know that some you know, I watch YouTube channels and I watch some of the ones that sort of tell you how things should be and you know about the algorithms and all the different like little tricks and things Which clearly I don't put into action or if I do they don't work And one of the theories is you stick to what you do stick to the same thing don't confuse People don't confuse the YouTube algorithm by posting different kinds of stuff And because I do I mean, for example, I did the Spider phobia recording I did the I've done.
Let me boil the sleep recordings. I've done deep sleep whisper hypnosis recordings And i've done relaxed sleep hypnosis daily recordings i've done Relaxation for stress anxiety and panic attacks videos So there's a mixture of different things and maybe it gets confusing maybe it confuses YouTube and therefore it doesn't recommend my videos because it doesn't know who to recommend them to Oh christine, hi christine I watch let me boil the sleep on YouTube not on your podcast cool,

it's a very uh small uh christine says I did but I hope i'm not the only one I don't i'm not sure to be honest Uh, I don't think you're the only one to ask no but it's I mean i've I try and take you know I get people ask for things and I try and I try and adapt And change change what i'm doing i'm slowing i'm doing what i'm doing And in order to make it Trisha hi trisha tried to make it.
Um To sue everybody I know it's not i'm never going to be able to please everyone but I I did the 10 hour versions And then people said well Oh, no, I did just the normal ones Normal length and people said we want a 10 hour versions. So some people said so I put the 10 hour versions and then some people were texting or whatever messaging saying it's It's too bright.
I can't watch it because the video and stuff So I started doing a dark screen for 10 hours and some people I had some messages saying 10 hours is too long.
Can't you just do it for the normal length? I did that and I said yeah, but we don't want it with the screen We want it to with a dark screen. So I kind of tried to adapt it to so i've done two versions But some people say why do you do two versions?
It's i'm never going to be able to please everyone which is fine Well actually isn't because I do want to please everyone if i'm honest I pretend i'm more cavalier and I don't care but actually I do I would like to please everybody I'd like to please one person once Just one person So it's a very YouTube that was my kind of original place to be When I you know as far as if we go back in time My space was the first Okay, my space was the first place that I started posting videos and stuff Christine says you are very accommodating.

I like your recordings, but I can't stand the sounds of the birds in the background and Now this is before I got them this the other decent microphones and the better equipment and It was either have birds in the background Or or only make recordings between like midnight and three in the morning During the summer because that's the only time the birds aren't singing Because they start at like three in the morning in summer and they don't go to sleep till like midnight I'm exaggerating probably but you know There's very
limited time to to be able to do that and I had people commenting why I think it was one person in particular um And I I've got the windows closed as much as possible, but it's summer so I Kind of do need the windows open because it's really hot in there Uh, so there's there's no there isn't I can't please everyone but It's I do what I do find Interesting, you know, I don't like to get serious but you know what I find quite interesting is What this new ai called deep mind That's interesting,
but that's that's a chinese ai that's kind of taken over and is perhaps really much better than all the other ai uh large language model things, but that's that's separate from this what I find interesting is people the general public seem to be more likely to Complain or to comment or make a comment which is negative than to make a comment that is positive In like on podcasts for some reason And it's like I don't understand I mean i'm quite lucky on YouTube because I think really the only people that
watch me on YouTube or watch my videos or listen You know listen to my podcasts on YouTube are people that like what I do and already kind of know about me maybe But I don't know I don't know how long i've been waffling on for an hour and 14 minutes. That's kind of strange days Oh, I forgot to have a shave Is it me or is eminem definitely dyed his beard and his hair dark I don't know.

I said It's supposed to be saliva So, yeah, I I did get A refund of that money And instead of refunding me the money that I originally paid for for the test they sent me another test So I did that which is all right, I don't mind because I do still want to see what the results was I'm interested because I get to see kind of where my Where my ancestry Kind of originated.
I mean with this coloring i'm pink. I'm not white So i'm clearly from somewhere where The they've got this kind of skin color So, um, I don't know where that would be But I mean, I know my my nan's side of the family is irish and I think that It's really weird the stream the live stream on my laptop went very slow then so I don't know what happened is Um Unless it was just me shaking I don't think it was So it'd be nice to see what my heritage is Yeah,
it just interests me it does intrigues me So i'd like to see what that is And it also gives a list of potential Individual Family members because you know, I haven't seen my mom since I was like seven So, I don't know she might have gone on to have more kids I might have brothers and sisters.
I might have nephews and nieces like blood relatives that I don't know about And you know, it'd be cool to find out I Don't I mean you never know they might I might have a kid out there. I think might have Possibly might have had a child because It's It was back in the days before the internet And unfortunately back in the days before I I asked anyone what their names were Is no, I can't I remember her first name, but I don't We didn't get to know each other to even know each other's surnames We just knew each I don't know.
I should remember my first name But it was just in a very social environment and we shared some Special time together And then that was it and she Yeah, that was kind of it and then then I didn't see her again So, I don't really know what it just I could say more but it come across as rude and I don't mean it to be rude not rude towards her but just rude as in a bit too graphic,
