Yeah, I don't know, there's nothing else added to that is there. It is Saturday the 12th of April 2025. Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes, if I haven't already said it.

We're kind of coming to the end of the week. This is my Saturday summary, my summing up of this week. And I kind of want to be honest with you, but at the same time I don't want to, at the same time I want to lie.

It's a weird one isn't it? I need to plug my phone in so I've got enough battery to get me through the night. Oh yeah, my Facebook page is or group is jasonnuland at, no, I don't even know my own Facebook group's name, which is weird considering most of it is actually my name. Jason Newland's boring group.

So please join if you wanna. Also, this is extra groovy, on my website there's now a place, because yesterday I didn't really, didn't get much in the way of questions for Q&A Friday. So what I've done is, and I think it's just because, well either Q&A Friday's come to an end and that's, you know, after one year of doing it, or the post I put onto my group just got lost among all the different recordings I did this year, this week.

So what I've done to combat that is I've, first of all, I've put, what do you call it, like a form right at the top of the page of my website, where you can basically click, you just fill it in, fill a question and then just, that's it. So that's pretty cool. And also on the website itself, I've got, let me have a look, it's gone from being cold in here to warm.

I've got Q&A Friday questions, which is a page, and it's exactly the same form, ask me anything, Q&A Friday submission. So what I'll do is any questions that have been sent up to making the recording on Friday, I'll answer those questions. And then any new questions after that, I'll answer the next Friday.

I think it's weird though, because I'm looking at my stats. Stats alert, stats alert. According to this, I had a very busy day yesterday, stats wise.

And according to this, Apple podcasts was the top, as always is. But second was my website. And apparently I had 148 plays on my website.

But then if I go to the stats for my website for yesterday, it, I had 45 page views. So it, how did they come up with that? Very, very, very confusing. Genuinely don't understand that at all.

I mean, I don't know how else can I put in range date, the last seven days? Yeah. It's I don't know. Can't figure it out.

But according to the statistics from Spreaker, 148 listens or downloads were on my website. Yeah, very confusing. Very confusing indeed.

And according to this, the last seven days, I've had 311 plays on my website. The last 30 days, 589. So it's growing, but I never had, you know, never had like a huge amount on the website.

Although I think it's quite an easy way to listen really. Unless it's just me playing them. Because I do I do use the website to play my recordings.

That's just I don't know, it's a good idea to listen to some of the stuff that I record. Sometimes, you know, if I fancy relaxing, finish searching for something, blessing, good sniff around where the bones, you know, those bone things that he likes. There was a bag on there before.

I've ordered nearly a week ago now a new pack knows Wednesday, I ordered them. And now Saturday, they're still not here. And I don't know what it is.

There's something happening with Amazon at the moment. I don't know if it might be due to the tariffs. I don't know.

Maybe it's slowing things down. Maybe there's some kind of a strike going on that I don't know about. I do know.

But deliveries are not coming the way they used to, you know, the next day delivery. It hasn't happened for for Yeah, a few a few objects now that I get, I don't get a huge amount from Amazon. But it is quite handy for just a few little bits and bobs.

I would never order anything that was electrical. Just because I don't trust the item to get to me without being damaged. But something that's not damageable.

You know, like dog food and stuff like that. I get it delivered. Because a lot easier than carrying it from the pet shop.

Yeah, big bag of dog food. I don't never get big bags, but they're more like a kilo. So that's kilos not much but still, if I've got other stuff and I'm trying to maneuver vidi as well.

You know, it's ideal not to have my hands full. And usually when I go to the pet shop, I've been to the petrol station as well. So I've gone and got other stuff.

Yeah, it's not ideal. And now in the petrol station, when they give bags, which they charge 20 pence for the 25 pence. Like the most rubbishy bags, you know, the type of bags you get when you I don't know where you live.

But here, when you get probably Chinese takeaway, or yeah, like a chip shop, or maybe Indian takeaway, all the foods in its own kind of containers or whatever. But they're in those really crappy, flimsy white bags that cannot hold anything heavy. I mean, with takeaway, it's not heavy, is it food is usually quite, quite light.

So I'll buy like two, two cans of milk. And I try and put it in these bags, I'll put it there with this bag, never used to charge, now they charge 25 pence. And they're, they just split.

It's really, it's the pointless bags. And something else I'm just moaning now and I something else, the brown bags that come when I get an Uber delivery from a Sainsbury's. Recently, they started delivering them in carrier bags, because I ran out of the black, the brown bags.

And it was so lovely. It was like a breath of fresh air. Oh, something with handles that was sturdy, like no good bags that can be reused.

It was easier for the delivery people easier for me to take. And then they went back to the crappy brown bags, which can't hold stuff. Because I order milk.

And what they do is they put all the milk in together. So maybe there's like four or five cartons, like one litre of milk. And quite often they just, and they're a bit, they're a little bit wet, you know, condensation or whatever.

So the bag gets soggy and the bag splits. But they always seem to manage to get it to me before it splits. Usually, not always.

And then the other day, I got a takeaway, I don't normally get very much in the way of takeaway foods. But I got KFC. And it got to me.

It got quite quick. It wasn't like a long time. And he hands me the, the like the cardboard bag or whatever.

And I said, where's the drink? Because I ordered a Fanta. I don't drink Coke anymore. So just rarely do I drink fizzy drinks.

But on this occasion, I thought, hey, I feel like I'm lying when I say I don't drink fizzy drinks. I genuinely don't anymore. Not the way I used to.

I said, where's where's the drink? And he said, it's in the bag. I said, you're telling me that the cold can is in with the hot food? He said, yeah, that's how they do it. Is it me? Tell me honestly, is it me? Or is that really ridiculous? To put hot food that's traveling? So you know, it's it's not just up the road, it's a fair distance before it gets to me.

And putting something cold out of the fridge into that same bag, which means the chips were cold. And luckily other stuff was all right. But it's like, what? I know you don't have to have a a master's degree to work there.

And I'm pretty sure it's not the people that works their fault anyway. They're just told what to do, aren't they? I hope that's the reason. I hope it's not someone actually taking it on upon their own brain to think, you know what? Maybe it's a vegan or vegetarian that's working there.

And I thought we'll get them back. Haha. Yeah, make sure their food's cold.

It's like an incel. Possibly. Do you think? Possibly.

I don't know. Infidel is it? I don't know. I'm not sure what infidel is.

So yeah, I I'll be giving that one a miss again. I think in the future. It's just nothing around here.

There is an Indian restaurant takeaway not far. But I'm just not really into that kind of food. It's just not into spicy food.

Really? I will eat it. I mean, I'm not it's not like I don't like it. In fact, I do like it.

I think it tastes good, but doesn't always agree with my body. And yeah, maybe years ago, I'm talking wow to 2000 time 99 2000. I went through.

I remember going to this having a restaurant, going to a restaurant, having an Indian meal, drinking some lager, whatever the they had in there. And again, I'm probably having a bit too much to drink, but it was a good night. I get home.

And like, I wake up halfway through the night, the food wasn't digested. It's like the food was still there. I wasn't ill or anything.

It's just it's like, what's going on? I think my body just probably ate way too much. Tell you what I did like during those periods was tapas. Don't Spanish.

That's one of the really good things about living in London. I don't anymore. But when I did, there's so many different types of food.

Whether you want to try Ethiopian food or Spanish food, Thai food, Greek food, Turkish, Chinese, Indian. I'm running out of different types of food, but anything German food, French, of course, French food, French restaurants, anything you want is available in London, like food wise. Anything you want, you can get on the street, except a smile.

You won't get a smile, but you will get food. There's lots of different food. And I've been in a few different places.

I did go into an Ethiopian place, I think. Or was it Thai? You might say, well, there's a bit difference. But no, but it was a place I've never been in before.

But then I might not have known what Thai food was. And I think I ordered egg fried rice and they said, we don't do egg fried rice. And the person I was with was laughing at me.

Unless, of course, they do do egg fried rice. I like, they do do egg fried rice. I'm pretty sure I saw egg fried rice in Thailand.

I'm pretty sure, with an egg on top. Serious, there's an egg, an egg on top. I've never had food with an egg on top, apart from toast.

I've had toast with an egg on top. I've had sausages, beans and chips with an egg on top as well. Or, yeah, fried breakfast with an egg on top.

But I haven't, yeah, not like a cooked meal, like a meal meal. I don't really class a fried breakfast as a cooked meal. It's a, it's just a yummy food, isn't it? It's something that tastes nice.

And we've just really, yeah, I can't eat stuff like that anymore. I wish I could because I love it. I love it, love it, love it, love it.

Oh, oh yeah. So the tapas was so good. So I had a cousin and he was, we used to go out and he'd take me around to different places in Stratford that I didn't even know was there.

Because I'll be honest, I lived in Stratford, but I didn't, I didn't spend any time in Stratford outside of living there and maybe working there. But I didn't generally go out in Stratford. And I did sometimes, you know, I went to the pubs occasionally, especially if it was like with people from work or whatever.

But generally, you know, I'd be out in the West End or up in the city or things like that. That'd be a more of a place that I'd want to be because I was upper class. So yeah, I, what have I done this week? I've been a little bit too productive.

I think a little bit too productive, a little bit like what's going on. And I guess I've just, I've been thinking through like, okay, basically, basically, I've been going through a bit of a, a bit of a manic-y time. So, you know, it's just, just how it is sometimes, up and down, up and down, you know.

And it just means I've had more energy to get more done, really. That's all it is. That's not all it is.

But that's, that's kind of, that's the, the end result for outsiders looking in, you know, oh, I've done more, more stuff. So this week, I did count it earlier. If we include, if we include Sunday, because it's Saturday, I did last week, Saturday, some summary, 5th of April.

So I've done 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 with this recording. So since last Saturday, I've done 15 recordings. So Sunday to today, which is seven days, 15.

I don't even remember the last time I did 15 recordings, especially bearing in mind, they're all fairly long. None of them are like 20 minutes or anything like that. Let's have a look.

Trivia Tuesday, Wednesday to Sunday. 1 hour 40 minutes for Sunday's papers. So let me bore your pachyphobia.

That was 42 minutes away. And then you got Monday's boring objects. 1 hour 49 minutes.

Quantum memory shift, which was on, well, whatever day that was, the 8th, 30, 30 minutes. Choose Trivia Tuesday, which I talk about the menopause, it's 2 hours and 15 minutes long. And I got Whisper Wednesday, 1 hour and 18 minutes.

And you got, let me bore your pain away, number 17, frozen shoulder. That's 1 hour and 7 minutes. Deep sleep, whisper, playful body scan, 44 minutes, 23 seconds.

Let me bore your pain away, 18, 1 minute, 1 minute, 1 hour and 28 seconds. And then you got, Let Me Bore You To Sleep, unpredictable gas, 1 hour and 7 minutes. Let me bore your pain away, 19, which is 48 minutes.

Q&A Friday, yesterday, 1 hour and 51 minutes. And earlier today, deep sleep, whisper, some quiet time, 43 minutes, 50 seconds. And earlier today, again, let me bore your pain away, number 20, head and face pain.

And that was 1 hour and 1 minute. So that's like 15, 16, 17, probably 16 hours, 17 hours, 18 hours, something like that, of me talking. That's about all the extra long versions.

Wow. It's very silly. It's very silly.

Honestly, it's all right. I don't, I don't expect to be able to do, it's not even a case of being able to, but just doing this amount next week. But I don't know, just sometimes, just feels like the right thing to do.

Did I ever tell you, I just, I don't know why I just remembered a story. I probably have told you it, but a long time ago, and this is back in 2005, I think. So yes, a long time ago.

My, my friend who I just, who was living, so I lived in a Buddhist community. One of my friends that I lived with, he had a new girlfriend, and he was talking about her a lot. And he met her on retreat, like, I don't know, maybe a few weeks earlier.

And then we're going, we're all going, me, me and another person that lives there, we're going on another retreat, a separate retreat. But my friend was staying at home, he didn't come. So he's at home.

On the way, we pick up another person, who's also a Buddhist. And so my friend's driving a car, not the one who's going out with his girl, this woman. And it turns out, he starts talking about his girlfriend, who was the same person as our friends, the person we lived with, his girlfriend.

Basically, she was dating both of them. We told him, straight away, like the bloke that was in the back of the car. So he's like, I've got to tell you, sorry, but that's, that's someone else's girlfriend as well.

Or he, at least he thinks, if you can't not tell him, it's like, did we tell him? Actually, I think we didn't tell him straight away. But then, I think because my other friend who was there, he was friends with him, I didn't know the bloke. And then we got back.

So we got back, and I think I met her. And it ended up that, I think she was my girlfriend as well. No, she wasn't.

We got back. And it's really weird, we didn't know how to approach it. Should we tell him? Should we not tell him? And I said, well, I'd want to know.

I'd want to know. You know, if a friend knows stuff like that, he can't not tell him. We live with a bloke, you know, it's not like he's just someone that we see casually.

Plus, he kept going on about her. So we had to sit him down and tell him. It was so weird.

Never, ever been in a situation like that. To kind of, to know what the right thing to do was. It wasn't to know the right thing was to tell him, it was how to tell him, you know, without causing, well, with just, yeah, it was hard, hard, hard, hard.

And it was hard on the other bloke as well. And what I think what it was is, she was one of these vague people. Where, and I've, I've had that in the past, where it's almost, there's never, I know it's not like a contract you sign to say that we are exclusively boyfriend, girlfriend, whatever.

But they both thought that she was his girlfriend, she was their girlfriend, both of them. And it turned out she wasn't either of their girlfriends. And I noticed there was a lot of that vagueness in some of the Buddhist places, like, just, stop moaning and moaning, please mate.

Give her a rest. He's had a full bowl of food, he's just had a walk, he's had a full bowl of food, did a poo. So he's, you know, everything's, he's, I'm not saying he should, he should feel grateful to me because he's done a poo.

But everything's kind of aligned, the stars have aligned. He's had his dinner, got fresh water. He started begging so I went and got him a treat.

And now he's sitting on the chair, staring at my biscuits. You don't even like them Vinnie, you really want a biscuit? Is that what you want? Is this what you want? Oh no, it's not the biscuits he wants. Not that I have biscuits.

It's the, there's these breakfast cereal in the little balls, crunchy, and he likes them. I don't have a whole bowl of those, it's just they're kind of a little topping, a little treat. I'm gently reverting back to sugar.

I'm not, oh maybe that's what he wanted. He didn't want the biscuits. Can you hear that? Crunchy, that's what it is.

Look, I'm not going to go and get a handful of them for you. I didn't even know he'd want them without milk. I think part, I thought part of the reason he liked them because they had milk in them.

Like you know, they were covered in milk. But now he's, he's got a thing for those things. Can you not see I'm busy? Vin, I'm busy mate.

He's just staring at me. I'm busy, I'm doing, can you not, look we've lived together for long enough, haven't we? It's been one year, two years and four months, over two years and yeah, two years and four months now we've lived together. You should know after that, near two and a half years, that when this microphone is sticking in my face, I'm talking, I'm busy.

So you think begging, is that going to help? Just because it's, just because it worked every other time doesn't mean it's going to work now. He just looks so cute when he does that though. He looks like a little kangaroo when he's just like up on his, he's sitting down on his bum, he's got his hands up, all he needs is a little pouch and he looks like a kangaroo, a little miniature kangaroo, don't you?

He must, he learnt this long before I got him because he didn't, he was already doing it.

So I reckon when he was a baby he was doing that and everyone was going, oh that's so cute, giving him treats and stuff. I said the word, I shouldn't have said the word. Giving him t-r-e-a-t-s.

He even nodded his head for that, you can't know what that, you can't spell it really. You tell him you know how to spell treats? Oh I shouldn't have said, didn't mean to say it. Give me a little bit of time and I'll go and get you something in a minute.

He's just staring at me. What's that over there? Last time I did a recording, he came up to me and he dropped a ball on my foot. I'm not saying like, ow my foot, he did, but he's like, he decided he wanted to play ball.

Didn't you, eh? You can get up and have a cuddle if you want but I can't offer you anything else right now. I know, I know he's not hungry, he's just had a bowl of food and a treat, can't stop saying that word, and some water and some little breakfast things. And I think he had some t-r-e-e-e-e-t-s is when we were out but they're like dry food so I don't class them as treats really, I class them as food because they are.

Although he likes them when he's out, he likes to chase them. Like you know, chuck it a little bit ahead and he runs and gets it. Don't you then, eh? Anyway, my summary, this is my Saturday summary.

What have I done this week other than be I don't know if prolific is the correct word but I'm going to go with that because it seems correct. I have been pretty prolific this, this week. I mean I'm not, I'm not, I can't honestly say that this is the busiest week I've ever done, you know, there might have been other weeks when I've done more than 15 recordings or 16 recordings in a week but it's not very often.

That's a rarity and I mean I've had whole months when I haven't done that many. I had whole months when I've only done, done none which is rare, that's very rare that is but so I'm not sure kind of where I'm going to go after this because I might not have quite the energy that I had this week. Next week is usually, you know, with the old waves, there's a you know, there's a high wave then there's a low wave, you know, so I have to see, see what happens.

I'm quite enjoying doing the Let Me Bore Your Pain Away podcasts. I mean they're, they are an extension of what I'm already doing with the Let Me Bore You To Sleep. It's just there's more, well there's more focus in a way and there's, there's more reason reason, not more reason, that's not the right word.

It's just more focused because it's specifically focusing on, like the one I did today, focusing on head and face pain, chronic pain and head and the face and that's what I kept coming back to. If I tell you what I talked about, I don't want to spoil it, but at the same time you might find it quite weird. I ended up talking about Wurzel Gummidge and that's what I quite like about those recordings is I can go off kilter, you know, go in a different direction, but it's in a direction which also involves the subject matter, kind of, in some way eventually.

I guess it would be a little bit like if I did that with these recordings where I was always focusing on sleeping, always focusing on, you know, falling asleep, but that might not be, I mean personally, if I'm listening to, if I was going to listen to a recording about, you know, to help me fall asleep, it doesn't really need to mention sleeping for me. It's more about the relaxation, more about just calming down, so probably less focused.

But then with the let me pull your pain away, it might, they might be really, really rubbish and that's the thing, I don't know, because I don't get any feedback.

I mean I definitely get people listening to them, consistently coming back and listening to them, so I don't know, you know, it's really hard to gauge the whole thing, but are they useful? Because that's the bottom line, I mean it's one thing, okay they might be entertaining and on one level they might be relaxing, which is always a good thing, but if they're not useful, they're not actually doing something to help people, then there's no point really.

So that's kind of where I am with that stuff. I want it to be of use.

I'm just looking at the stats, I mean so far. But then there's the problem, if I do too many recordings in a day, there's a chance that a lot of them will just get missed, they'll be almost forgotten before they even be seen, because the next one's out and then the next one's out. Like today, doing three recordings in one day.

Yesterday I did two yesterday, although for some reason the let me boy paying away number 19, I was putting the 11th of March, not the 11th of April, so kind of messed up on that one. And then on the 10th, would you be, yeah, Thursday, I did one, two, three, three recordings. And again, let me boy paying away number 18, 10th of March.

How did I come up with that? How did I manage to do? Oh, I did the same thing with the number 17, 9th of March. Wow. I think it's just simply because that was the last time I did a recording.

And I just changed the day rather than a month. And to go back and change it was going to take ages and ages and ages and ages. And I might conveniently forget to do it.

So I've had nobody send me for the forming yet for the Q&A Friday. It's a bit warm in here now. Itchy.

I was in bed a little while ago. I thought I might have an early night, but it was too cold. It was cold.

It's like, Oh, I don't wrap up when I'm in bed. I just got a T-shirt on. The window wasn't open, but it's like, Oh, this is weird.

It's been a nice day. Now it's chilly. Very, very chilly.

It's quite weird, really, because this week I've had sort of a degree of energy for making recordings, but I've not used any of that energy up with exercise. Yeah, strange, isn't it? Especially as I need to. I need to exercise every day, really.

Right. According to this Mike Tyson, I'm looking at Facebook, Mike Tyson names one boxer who can't be beaten admits he'd be scared to fight him. Now tell me about who Mike Tyson, I know Mike Tyson's boxing icon, he said he named David Benavidez as the one man who would be afraid to fight.

And yeah, I mean, he's not heavyweight, so it wouldn't really be a valid, wouldn't be a valid situation. And in his prime. I don't think that.

Yeah, in his absolute prime, I don't think it was anyone. I mean, yeah, it's just one of those fantasy things, isn't it? Who in their prime, so most they do that with football, and I guess with basketball, all kinds of sports. If you had two teams, with all of the best players throughout history, or the best ones that you could get, you know, that you think are the best.

All playing against each other. Who would win? Who knows? I mean, quite often, the reason why a football team wins is because they're superior. They're, you know, they might have the best player in the world, or one of the best players in the world on their team.

And, or lots of really, really amazing players. But if you had another team, equal quality, they might cancel each other out. I should just add that I know nothing about football.

So I made 93 and a half percent of that up. And the other 17% was just a guesswork, really. So someone's posted here, have you seen the ad for a natural sleep remedy that says it's fun to... Okay, I don't know what that is.

I don't. I'll tell you what, I've been watching Big Brother, Celebrity Big Brother. And I could not believe how many adverts were being played.

So I watched the launch show on Monday. It's live. There's always going to be adverts on a live show.

It's fine. I'm not that bothered. But the normal regular show every night at, I think it's 10 o'clock, maybe nine o'clock, that lasts for about an hour, hour and a quarter.

I watched it back on playback. No, I didn't. I watched it.

I tried to watch it live. It's not live, but you know, on TV as it was being broadcast for the first time. I couldn't sit through the adverts.

Too many adverts. Like literally every, it seemed like every 10 minutes there was adverts. Probably, probably was to be fair.

I had to shut it off and pay for the app. The X, ITVX app. I just cannot, I can't be dealing with like nonstop adverts all the way through it.

It's the same with on YouTube. I'm signed up with the YouTube subscription thing, because I can't, I mean, on some YouTube videos. Oh, wait a minute.

I didn't mean to go to my channel. I've made some changes on my YouTube channel as well, which I think has annoyed a few people. But hey, I didn't do it for that reason.

I'll tell you about that anyway. I'll tell you about that. I've been trying to figure out what to do with YouTube.

Now, I know that if I do videos of me on camera, for some reason, they get more views. I think it's just simply because there's a human being on a camera, they get more views because it's a video site. But it is also a podcasting site.

I have podcasts, and I'm a podcaster, I guess, really. So I decided a few days ago, from now on, I am going to upload all of the recordings I have on my podcast onto YouTube. I just connected it, connected the podcast.

It's a separate podcast, but it's one that I've got that's connected to YouTube. So whenever I upload a new one, process it and make it available, publish it, it eventually ends up on YouTube. It takes a while.

Which means on an average day, that's six new recordings. You know, the one without music, without music, five hours and 10 hours, and then the one with music, and with music, five and 10 hours. On a really busy day, it could be 18 recordings, 18 new videos, which is a lot for YouTube.

And I've already lost some subscribers already. I've lost three. I had 1,550, I've now got 1,547 subscribers.

Now, Vinnie? No, there's literally no point in you barking, mate. There's no point. What's the point of barking? What are you going to get? What are you going to benefit from barking for? Nothing.

Now, do you want me to close the window, or are you going to be a good boy? Are you going to be a good boy, or are you going to be naughty? Are you going to be good, or are you going to be naughty? Are you going to be good? Are you going to be good, or are you going to be naughty or good? Which are you going to be?

Are you going to be good? Okay. Or are you going to go in the bedroom? Are you going to go on the naughty step? Yeah, Vinnie's started yelling, started barking for some reason. I think he heard something in the garden.

I can't hear anything. I don't read anything at all, ever. I mean, I can't hear anything in the garden.

It's pretty quiet. It's 20 to 10 in the evening. I can hear the trains.

No, I think it's the motorway. I can hear the gentle hum of traffic from a distance. But it's kind of a peaceful sound.

It's not loud. It's not grinding or anything like that. It's far enough away to not even... It sounds more like a plane, but you know when you get a plane that's really high up and you can just hear it.

It's kind of like that. But driving really, well, flying very, very slowly and spending all day and all night doing it. Well, I don't notice it.

Maybe some people notice it. I don't notice it. The fact I mentioned it means obviously I do notice it because I just talked about it.

But I'm okay with it. I mean, I used to live on a main road before I moved to this town. Yeah, yeah, it was before I moved to this town.

I lived on a really busy road. And it was a road that led off from the motorway into town. It was a country road, but it was really busy.

Really busy. And that's where all the lorries would be going, you know, early hours of the morning to deliveries to the supermarket, because there was a supermarket just up the road. At the end of the road.

That's a big Sainsbury's. And there was a few other big supermarkets. God blimey, my throat's getting weird.

There was like a B&Q and some other places around there as well. But yeah, it used to be there was a there was a little lull between about 11 and three or four, 11 and three or four. And then, you know, first thing, lorry after lorry after lorry after lorry, lorry after lorry, the occasional bicycle.

I did sometimes cycle to work. Yeah, that was sweaty. That was a sweaty experience.

Yeah, that was always I was always wet. Either outside my trousers because of the wet because of the rain, or inside because of the sweat. I mean, it's really weird.

I'd sweat in the winter, and it's freezing cold. I'd be like, oh, really. So I'm trying to think what else I did this week.

So I did the extra recordings. I've started uploading all of the new Yeah, all of the new episodes to YouTube. I'm a little bit behind on that.

But you know, I'm trying not to. I'm trying to not announce, I suppose, publish, make available individually, one at a time rather than all at once. So as to not bombard people too much.

But it is, you know, it is one of those things. I mean, it seems like the best thing to do really. So it's just another place where you can listen to my podcasts.

That's my thing that I'm doing at the moment. Well, it's a thing I've been doing for years. But it's, it's more a thing that I like to do.

I'd rather listen to an audiobook than a podcast. I mean, at the moment, I've got 375 titles in my library. Now I don't own all of them, because some of them are part of the subscription, you can just download them and listen, you know, listen to them.

But this week, I've listened to 1234567. Yeah, seven, seven books. I've definitely finished 12345.

So yeah, I'm not sure I might have restarted a couple of them. And I've still got like a couple of hours left on 147 minutes on 11 minutes on one left. Then I've got another one quantum.

These are all quantum books. One's quantum physics, the other one's quantum physics simplified. And another one is called quantum quantum entanglement, the power of your subconscious mind.

And there's the quantum doctor, and the quantum rules. And lastly, the quantum revelation is 1234567. So seven books.

I'm not I've not finished all of them, but I have been listening to them. I wonder how many hours I've done. So actually does tell you doesn't it? Listening time.

Today, three hours and five minutes daily. One, if I go monthly. So April, what is it 12th of April.

So far this month, I've done for I've listened to audio audible. So audio books for 42 hours and 26 minutes. February I did 140 hours and 12 minutes.

Wow. And last year. Yeah, last month, March 72 hours and 48 minutes.

A that's weird. It says daily but only gives 12345 days. So today I've done three hours and six minutes.

Yesterday I did one hour and 20 minutes. Thursday, five hours and 42 minutes. Wednesday, four hours and 50 minutes.

And Tuesday, the 8th, five hours and 38 minutes. Blimey. In total.

Is that just this? How far back does it go? Does it not go back forever? Listening level. Okay, listening time. What is my listening level according to this? I'm a master.

A master baker. Badge collection. Really? Nothing.

Oh, wait a minute. I am a I've blimey according to this, I've got all of them. Stats surfer, weekend warrior, the librarian, on the trot, sampler, marathoner, a pretty much seven day stretch, bite size, bookworm, collector, deja vu, dabbler, high noon.

I've got no idea what any of that means. It just shows how little I'm learning from reading or listening to someone else reading to me, to me. Listening time.

So total, three months, 13 days, five hours and 41 minutes in total. They can't meet ever because I've been I mean, on and off to be fair. I'm not always with the old listening reminders.

No, I don't want that. What do I want that for? Details, membership details. It says I've been with them renews a third of May 2025.

I have zero credits. So this is weird, right? It says by three audible credits, you'll be charged 23 pound 99. Okay.

So let's go to the audible website. So let's have a look at this for go to audible. Zero credits.

Zero credits. So by extra credits, I can get one for 799, three, 18 pound, or five for 2899. How much are they offering to me on the actual app? 2399 for three.

That's incredible, isn't it? So it's five pound cheaper if I go to the website than it is if I buy them on the actual app. Buy one audible credit 999. It's that's kind of so I'm being treated as a customer on the website on the on the app.

Like well, the opposite to how a customer should be treated. Bearing in mind that I think it's safe to say I'm a pretty good customer over the years. I mean, library 381 titles.

Now 375 because there's also I suppose there are some podcasts there as well. But audio books 375. Going back to 19 pages.

So when was the first? What was the first book I ever purchased on audible? So most of these I do own. Like going back because but it's years and years and years worth. Years and years.

I can't remember what it was. And they just blurted it out there like. Why would you do that? Why would you, you know? Because sometimes we can't watch something live on telly.

For whatever reason. Maybe you have to have an early night or you've got something to do somewhere to be. So you watch it up on.

You watch it the next day on catch up. And when I do that, I watch it like it's live. So I don't want to know what the results was before I start watching.

Otherwise, it kind of ruins it for me. And as sometimes you can't avoid it. I remember, God blimey.

I think it was. Hagler Leonard. When Hagler fought Leonard.

I think it was what? 1987. And I was babysitting. For a bloke that worked in a chip shop.

So that he could go out for the night. Or, you know, go and take his wife out. And he had a little kid.

Kid was in bed. Didn't have to do anything. So the deal was I would babysit.

If he recorded the Sugar Ray Leonard, Hagler fight. The night before. So I could watch it when I got around to his in the evening.

And that was the agreement. He still repaid me, but probably I don't know. Got no idea what he paid me.

But that was the thing I wanted more than anything. Well, let me tell you. I had to get through the whole day.

Working in a chip shop. Without finding out who won. It was very difficult.

When anyone starts talking like that. And I'll be stopping people. So it's yeah, I mean, I don't know.

I don't remember, honestly, if I managed to do it or not. But I'm pretty sure I did. And I got to watch it and I was like.

Wow. Because I thought Hagler was going to win. I think most people probably thought Hagler was going to win.

Too soon to be mentioning it. OK, Hagler did not win. Sugar Ray Leonard won.

Yeah, I mean, it's a while back. Hagler. I'm not even sure when it was.

Was it 97? Sugar Ray Leonard. Yeah, 6th of April, 1987. So I hadn't long been in a chip shop.

Flat above the chips, rather. I've been working there for a year. And I moved into the chip shop.

It was around the Easter time, whenever that was in 1987. And I lived there for a year. That was weird.

Yeah, blimey. So it's 38 years ago. Wow.

You know what people don't realise about Marvin Hagler? You know, he's remembered as being unbeatable. A beast. An absolute.

Like the greatest. Arguably the greatest middleweight boxer of all time. One of them.

There's a couple, actually. Ones, Mike, from earlier in the 70s, I think. And he held all the titles.

And, you know, he kind of fought everyone. He was part of the Four Kings and all that stuff. What they don't... What isn't generally known from people that aren't maybe, like, fight fans, is... First of all, he didn't fight for his first world title until his 50th fight.

50th fight. That's just ridiculous. And then, on that occasion, he grew.

So he didn't even win. And he had to wait until his 54th fight, when he fought Alan Minter and won. And then he defended.

That was 1980, 27th of September, 19... September 1980. And then he went on and defended it until 1987. Now, that's one thing that's... Is almost kind of forgotten.

They had to do that. That's a huge amount of fights. Most people don't have that in their entire career.

Never mind have that many fights before they win a world title. And then go on and defend it for seven years. There's something else that's not known about him.

Well, it's not... It's not not known, but it's quite... Not really spoken about. He lost twice before he even fought for a world title. To Bobby Watts and Willie Munroe.

1976. One was the majority decision. One was unanimous decision.

Majority unanimous. Kind of the same, isn't it? And that was his 27th and 29th fight. He lost.

How many boxers get to their 29th fight and have lost twice, carry on, to then go on? And win another 20 fights before fighting for the world title. It's like absolutely ridiculous. Now, Willie Munroe, who beats... He beats Hagler.

He then fought Hagler again. In 1977, so that's a year later. And Hagler knocked him out.

And then you've got Bobby Watts. The person he fought. I don't know if you ever got a chance to find Bobby Watts again.

Did he? So Bobby Watts was the first person to beat him, to beat Hagler. Just have a look. Yeah, 1980.

They did fight again. Bobby Watts, 1980. Bobby, oh, so this is after he fought for the world title and got a draw against Vito Ortofermo.

I think he's classed as one of the greatest middleweights of all time as well. Bobby Watts, he fought and knocked him out. So basically, everyone he fought, he beat.

Everyone except Sugar Ray Leonard. So every opponent. So the two he lost to earlier on, he got his revenge.

And Sugar Ray Leonard, he never got a chance to get his revenge over him. Because I'm not sure why, to be honest. But Vito... Oh, that's interesting.

I didn't realize that. So he lost, he drew to Vito Ortofermo. But then once he won the world title.

He defended against Vito Ortofermo. And the following year that he won it. And Vito Ortofermo retired.

Wow. So I'll have a look at Vito Ortofermo because that's gonna bug me if I don't. Vito Ortofermo, I'm sure he was classed as one of the greats.

I might be wrong. He's a former undisputed world middleweight champion. Okay, maybe not then.

I mean, obviously, he was a champion. So he was great. But there was someone that I was thinking of that was classed as one of the best middleweights ever.

I just don't know. There's been so many really, really good middleweights. Like so many.

Wow, that's interesting. He lost to Alan Minter twice. Marvin Hagler once.

Matthew Hatton was his last fight. 59th fight in 1985. No, Matthew Hilton, not Matthew Hatton.

Matthew Hilton was, Matthew Hatton would have been a kid in 1985. Morris Hope. Morris Hope was a really good, 73.

I remember Morris Hope. I used to watch him in the 80s. Maybe I didn't.

He retired in 82. I'm thinking of Morris Blocker. That's what I'm thinking of.

But he did hold the world title. Vinnie Snorin. Yeah, he won.

I think he's dreaming. Right. How did you get me talking about boxing? I was going to talk about it.

I wasn't going to. I had no interest in boxing. I don't know why.

I've got a mild interest in boxing. There's a big fight on tonight. Well, it's on in the evening in America.

But the show starts about two o'clock in the morning here. So I will not be watching it live because it's 25 to 11 now. So yeah, I'm not going to be watching.
