Sure, it's Let Me Bore You To Sleep number blimey let me have a look just I'm interested for some reason what number Let Me Bore You To Sleep is this it's I've been doing for quite a while now quite a while it's number one thousand three hundred and twenty nine one thousand three hundred well when I did the first one I wasn't even sure to be fair I wasn't even sure if I was gonna upload it because I did the first one I thought I wasn't sure you know to be

fair if you listen to the first one it is more hypnosis than anything else it's a relaxation session with a bit of chat a little bit of chat and then as it progressed I'm using that word very very generously as it progressed it became something else and as it I'm using a look as time went by I won't use the word progressed again apart from just then as time went by I seem it seemed to have evolved again that's a generous word into a more structured not not the actual recording

but as far as doing certain days certain subjects or certain types of recordings so I've got the Monday's boring objects I got Tuesday trivia or trivia Tuesday whisper Wednesday which will be tomorrow by the way it's a 15th of April 2025 I don't have a set one on Thursday but I've got Q&A Friday Saturday summary which is why I just talked about what's going on during the week and Sunday papers so yeah Thursday's the only one I don't really have I did do a healing Thursday but I like to think

I like to think that everything I do is potentially quite useful from that perspective and because when you relax no feelings like in my hand how lovely if only it was for any other reason other than wanting something it'd be nice if he was being affectionate but I know it's not the reason he's basically thinking what he does that you get my attention because he doesn't really like me talking into the microphone and then I'll go and into the kitchen and get him something but I don't really have anything to

get him should tell you why Amazon has not delivered either of my things yet now I don't know what day I ordered the first one let's have a look Amazon orders let's go to orders orders orders orders orders really well orders coming up okay but buy again out your orders blimey so I ordered right good boy mini rawhide knotted bones and order received we will email you when you have when we have an estimated delivery date I ordered that on hasn't even got at the time when I ordered it that's

weird I think it would have wouldn't you but then I ordered some food some dry food probably out to two days ago arrived in the 6th of May what is going on with this I don't want it 6th of May that's over it's like nearly a month away I'm not I'm just having a little moan don't worry when is it saying when I ordered it change this order track this it's not even let me know when I ordered it on the 3rd of April those are the bone things 3rd of

April it's now the 15th that's that's a long time isn't it and I got the other one I ordered I ordered it on and these are the dog food 11th of April so that's four days these are next day delivery things by the way so what I'm going to do is I found you can have to cancel it cancel the order because they're clearly not delivering so there you go cancel selected items so that's being cancelled and I'll cancel the other one that's just absolutely ridiculous change this order cancel items this is like what?

that's like £8.26 for the dry food and £8.26 yeah free delivery unless it said May on there when I bought it when I purchased it but I don't remember that being the case I mean maybe I looked at it said 10th of May I thought 10th I was April I was going to take a few more days I wasn't bothered you know generally I'm not too fussed if it's not next day delivery yeah that's just a perk I'm not that bothered as long as the item gets delivered item a bit

of an accent there wasn't it as long as the item gets to me that's all it really matters I like it to be intact and not damaged and yeah blimey I didn't know I had a what kind of accent is that that's kind of summer Somerville Somerby Somerville so I don't know it's a lovely part of country anyway so it's Trivia Tuesday I'm gonna focus on Big Brother now Big Brothers gets a little bit of flack on TV like on not TV but on like the internet and people being negative

about it and this is how I view it is we can all like what we like you know it's as simple as that the I don't watch there's a lot of things I don't watch anymore I hardly watch any television I keep track of the news I do watch a little bit of like Frasier or Cheers if it's on early in the morning while I'm at my breakfast other than that the only other thing I really watch on television maybe parliamentary parliamentary things you know would be yeah pretty much Big

Brother for the whole year I don't really watch hardly any television I said other than early morning I might watch if there's an American show on because I just can't I never get bored of Cheers or Frasier I just just love them but I find it amazing that some people have to go the opposite way like oh are you watching that but what's wrong with watching something that I like watching isn't that kind of the point you know back in the old days the old old days I used to watch

absolutely everything I just sit and watch TV regardless of what was on and I didn't have a remote control so I couldn't be bothered to get up and turn it over I just watch whatever the heck was on I don't do that anymore I've evolved maybe so I like Big Brother so this isn't for people that like Big Brother this is just a trivia trivia Tuesday even if you don't if you never watch Big Brother on TV yeah this is not for fans of Big Brother this is just I just

happen to be a fan of the TV show and have been since it started in 2000 and for me part of it is just the dynamics the personality dynamics I'm just interested it fascinates me the the way people act and the way people are with each other and the way of people how different they are with different people and and this one on at the moment is Celebrity Big Brother so that's has a different fascination for me because some of the people are in there that I've watched on my television

screen for decades there's a couple there's quite a few people I've never heard of before and they're sort of more younger I guess internet Love Island tik-tok stars or whatever I'm not sure but I kind of got I've got got to know them a little bit as I've been on the show because it's only been on for a week was it launched yeah a week ago last Monday but you know what it's something fascinating to me because you got Bianca from EastEnders you got David Platt from Coronation Street and you

got Tricia from the Tricia show Tricia Goddard that's three people that I've been seeing on television for last 20 odd years 20 30 years David Platt's been playing David Platt isn't his name is Jack something but he's been 20 years so both him and Bianca have been on the their their particular TV soaps since they were kids since they were teenagers pretty much they've grown up on TV and it fascinates me because I've never I've never watched any reality shows where they've been in them I know that Patsy Bianca's done

well her name is actually Julie her real name is Julie but they have done she's done reality shows before but I've never seen her in any of those because I don't again I'm not gonna like poo all over them I don't watch celebrity dancing I don't watch the cooking shows I just don't watch them as simple as that I watch what I want to watch and that's that is a benefit of living on my own is I get to choose what goes on the television but I don't think that's necessarily

a reason to live on your own just so you can watch what you want on television it's a benefit but you know I don't know if it's the overall if it's an overall winner in life hmm I don't know I mean I think if I was in a relationship living with someone and I've never ever lived with a woman ever in my life I've lived with lived in houses multiple multiple houses that had women in them like who had their own rooms I've lived in I've shared like rooms and like

you know studio apartments and a flat with other people that I was friends with or got to know I've let shared a house with someone couple of friends I knew from work but I've never lived with a woman like in a relationship I nearly did once I did I remember I found a place I found a really lovely flat and it was just with both of our wages I figured out it would be doable you know without being like put too much pressure on we'd still be able to maybe have

a good good social get get get out you know at least once a week twice a week and have a decent lifestyle and as maybe our money went up with our careers it would you know we'd end up maybe getting a mortgage and stuff like that but she said no she didn't want to move in with me in fact she didn't want to date me she said no she had a boyfriend but other than that I think it would have worked out yeah I think sometimes it's probably best to find

out the lay of the land before you rent a flat that's the but I mean I only had a year contract on it so it's fine it's quite hard to pay for it just for myself though and also telling her about it probably didn't help I think she felt a bit uneasy and it's not a good convincer if you are someone out you know for a date and they say no I mean that's kind of it but trying to kind of talk them around by saying well I've rented a flat

for us to live in it it's weird you might think that'd be a really positive thing to say but it didn't quite work out that way oh dear oh blimey I don't know I've made some rubbish up don't I?

I remember I was sitting probably about 1998 I think it was maybe 99 98 99 and it was an after party from the comedy club and we was somewhere else or was we somewhere else maybe we were upstairs oh maybe it was in the other bar anyway I'm sitting there talking to one of the doorman and he's telling me like you've got to live with someone you don't know what it's like until you've done it it's and because you know I was what 27 28 at that time and he was

he was a little bit older probably about early 30s and he said you got just you got to but give it a go you know you probably love it it's something you know because he'd never done it before and then when he did do it he's even though it didn't work out it's it's like he said it grow you grow as a person it's just it's an amazing experience so I thought about it and then it's quite strange I forgot all about that conversation to right now so maybe I should

what I've done to deserve being having him be so rude to me so let me have a look Hillary posted a massive thank you for the trivia Tuesday menopause had to listen five times and still not sure I got to hear it all yep kept falling asleep also the frozen shoulder episode was great but again was asleep ten minutes in you rock at what you do thank you Hillary I should comment actually thank you Hillary I keep spelling her name with two L's a sub reason that's it probably less time

so that was lovely I always love to hear some nice some nice comments all right so I've done I've done a few recordings I've done another let me pull your pain away earlier so you might want to check that out it's not really that different from these ones it's just it's a bit more focused on helping people with chronic pain but it's very much this in the same vibe as the Let Me Bore You To Sleep okay my YouTube channel is Jason at Jason Newland and I now upload all my

recordings or six versions of each recording I do I've lost a few subscribers doing that I knew that would happen but I think over time maybe people will come to appreciate the fact that I'm sharing every new thing that I do on there so it's just another place where you can listen to me as well as being on the podcast apps that you listen to me and as well as on my website Jason Newland calm it's just another place and and that's it I'm a little bit behind on it but

so far it's just because I guess I'm making too many recordings at the moment for YouTube to keep up oh so I've scheduled I said I've got Sundays papers no music 10 hours is being published on YouTube so yes it is there's one two three and this would be the fourth so yeah I'm probably like a day behind but then if I start having some time off or you know I go through a little period where I don't make any recordings for a little while it will catch up with itself

so I'm okay with that and once people realize that my web my YouTube channel is now pretty much a podcast it's yeah it might it might gain a bit of traction it might not I don't know but it's just I think it's a nice place because it's synced with my podcast as you know that the RSS feed from the podcast is synced with my YouTube channel which means yeah if you want to listen to the 10 hours with music 10 hours without music 5 hours without music or just the one

on its own you know it's up to you it's all on there man and that I do believe is everything a couple of things before I go on about big brother well it was something that happened today but I forget what it is something happened earlier see that's why I need a dick tation thing that that recorder thing digital recorder I need one of those but I'm scared to order anything from Amazon now because they just don't seem to be delivering stuff just a little handheld thing and I can just

the Saturday summary I can kind of recall because you know sometimes I get to Saturday and I've just I can't embed anything that's happened during the week and I know that I've been making recordings and I've been editing recordings and I've been doing all that stuff all the processing but I don't remember anything I've talked about and you know as soon as I've talked as soon as I've said something is it's out of my memory it's gone I don't mean a memory's gone out my memory so what do you mean

so I like talking about the birds chasing each other yesterday I've talked about it it's not out my memory I remember it happening but once I've talked about it I don't remember what I've talked about although I just talked about how I remember talking about the birds chasing each other yesterday so I kind of do remember sometimes what I've talked about I'm contradicting myself so that's it let's get on with the let's get on with the trivia so this is I've asked chat GPT just to find me this is the

weren't or even half the sentences were English and then they weren't it's like I don't know what's going on here but it was I'd seen it before it's quite funny and the the way that it was laid out with the subtitles was a different way of speaking like using words that we would not use here like just generally a very different format very different sentence structures and I found it quite interesting so outrageous moments and scandals oh so oh if I see anything it's a bit you know a little bit

you know I'm not going to talk about anything that's horrible it's not what I'm here for so if I see anything I will kind of just gloss over it so in the Dutch Big Brother and then when I've done this I will go through some of my memories of Big Brother from the UK so in the Dutch Big Brother a contestant gave birth inside the house making it the first reality TV birth I watched that yesterday on YouTube and I couldn't believe it I thought is this real is this real

I mean you don't see a giving birth they're not allowed to show that on TV but and I wouldn't show that on YouTube unless it was an educational because you can get educational videos on YouTube where it's got graphic stuff but if it's for educational reasons okay so there's a lot of a lot of lactation tutorial videos apparently Germany's Big Brother thousand Germany's Big Brother faced criticism for delaying information no Germany's Big Brother I'm gonna make this writing a little bit bigger because I can't see it Germany's Big Brother faced

humor absolutely absurd stories a bit like the National Enquirer but every day and we started off the Sunday sport and it was like a weekly paper and it had I mean it had so many naked people or semi-naked people in it that they actually used to have on the front cover that have a nipple count it's totally true absolutely true I'm not even like what so it I used to read it it was funny because it like it was always like things Hitler's moustache was found on the moon and things

like that which I believed what is a turkey slap I've got no idea did they did they literally hit each other with turkeys I got no information about this in Italy a mafia member participated in Grand Fratello raising eyebrows about contestants vetting now I think they should say I don't think it should be so like definite about that like you know maybe now I'm sure it wasn't and I'm sure whoever you are that was on there you're a good bloke and good luck to you a US season revealed said the

United States have Big Brother I didn't know that I'll know a US the OS no a US says Big Brother why don't they show that in this country then because really Big Brother there's only a few countries in the whole world where Big Brother could be shown here where there's kind of well I'm guessing English-speaking countries like America Canada well now parts of Canada Australia New Zealand maybe South Africa and that's kind of it isn't it there's five countries where there's a good chance all the contestants can speak English or

not can but do like naturally speak English so why would they not put that on the TV for this country to watch because they do this stuff with because we we said we but this country we started the Dragon's Den and America copied it with the old the shark tank like a bigger version basically and they show that in this country now as well right France's Big Brother faced protests after airing naughty content leading to discussions about censorship but what year was it just give me some information Brazil's Big Brother featured an endurance challenge lasting almost 43 hours testing contestants limits Wow in the US Dr.

don't remember that do I do I remember that I'm not sure in the US the Zingbot 9000 a robot delivering humorous insults became a recurring character since 2010 again that's cool I didn't know that I got no idea what that is a UK season had to task had a task where housemates had to ignore a clown in the diary room look a clown in the diary room while nominating yeah there was some I watched this thing the other day and it was it was so surreal so there was this contestant

called bear and when he it was celebrity so I think he was like a Love Island contestant or Love Island winner something like that and I did dip my toe into Love Island and it is compulsive TV those shows I can understand why why people watch them it is fascinating television and I watched the one I think it was naked not naked and afraid but this one was actually dating a bit like Love Island but they were all naked and I watched it all the way through and it was just

fascinating on various levels it was just what is weird is they'd have arguments and the men would like square up to each other and get into arguments and it just so funny to watch because you're a bit to be dangling around and they just be hilarious and how how could they take themselves seriously like that it reminds me blimey years I'm talking like 1999 there was an art gallery in my friend had an art gallery above the club and he I went and had a look at one of the exhibitions

because he had the art gallery and had different artists on this this occasion there was quite small paintings but I went and had a look at them and there was one particular picture that I really see I'm not I'm not really an art person generally I think I'm a little bit shallow not not deep enough maybe to appreciate art but on this maybe verbal art maybe and I do like beautiful things you know I do appreciate a beautiful shape and then whatever but I this really stood out to me and

I I have been to all the main America the London art galleries when I lived in London I visited them and they are amazing I mean some of those pictures huge absolutely huge and how do you even know you have to keep walking about hundred miles away to just to see whether or not it looks good it's close up it doesn't you have to stand back to actually see what it is and maybe I could do a TV show about art it sounds like I know what I'm talking about no

it doesn't right there was this picture and it was these like an old picture of well it's a picture of a battle and all these two armies fighting each other and they're on horses some of them on foot on horses and it was it was a you know not a nice scene but they were all naked and it wasn't funny I mean I laughed a little bit the first three or four willies I laughed but after half an hour after half an hour of laughing I kind of settled down and

because you know I was a little bit immature back then I was only early thirties but it hit me like you know what it's just ridiculous when you take away the clothes and all the armor and we're all vulnerable you know physically and just somewhat one person's got more muscles than the other person and whatever but actually it's there's not a lot of difference between humans physically really I mean generally if you break it down and they just look stupid they look absolutely ridiculous fighting on horses and you know all

that stuff and it was a little bit like that with Love Island when they were just naked arguing it was just funny to watch but Bear is his name is actually which was the same name as what Vinnie used to have his original name was Bear probably named after that character that celebrity he won Big Brother he won Celebrity Big Brother in the end anyway he there was a point in it so he goes in and he basically finds love is that the right word with another contestant so a female

in there they both kind of hook up and everything's nice and then they do this it's like a game where whenever they play music but whenever they stop the music everybody had to just stop you know it's like an old game they do I just like kids play and everyone had to just stay completely still and they sent in the mother of no they didn't forget that's a different one that is sent in Bear's girlfriend to come and talk to him now the thing is all the contestants are walking around

with these meringues on their head or bits of cheese and they had to not drop them okay so his girlfriend comes in no one knew that he had a girlfriend and she's like really you know having a go at him crying and stuff which is yeah what would happen I guess they're all standing around with these cheeses on their head and so is he and none of them can move and she's there all getting emotional and like it was so surreal it was almost like just weird very weird moment and

there's another one where Lee from TV he was in a band Lee Ryan I think his name is and he was in Celebrity Big Brother and there's a bit where they kind of did the same thing but it was a different I don't know if it was the same the same series or a different series and one of the and he's with a female he's got together one of the females in there and they're kind of an item in the Big Brother house right Neighbors started music very loud very bassy

so if it's when I listen back to it if it's too loud I will just do the versions without music and even though no I won't even do that I'll just do one version because well maybe yeah maybe I'll just do the versions without music because I can hear it it's very loud but I don't know how much the microphones picking up to be honest it's happened a couple of weeks back and in the end I was able to do all the recordings it wasn't actually too bad but I'm just

warning you now just in case warning that's a bit of a strong word oh yeah anyway so the this females the lady's mum comes in and said don't trust Lee don't trust him he's he's doing this and he's doing that don't trust him he's whatever really because you've been watching on TV he's saying one thing to you and saying something else to everyone else and she's there for about 10 minutes really going on then she leaves and they take everyone's allowed to move again the first thing is Lee walks up

to her says well your mum don't seem to like me very much does she well that's loud downstairs it's vibrating the whole flat it was all the time I if that yeah I would yeah I'm not gonna say I'm gonna finish that sentence so in Celebi Big Brother UK a task involved housemates being sprayed with substances like fish guts for incorrect karaoke limit lyrics I don't remember that oh I think I do and then there's a UK season featuring a tree of temptation that gave secret tasks like pouring sand on

another's bed I mean to be fair I've seen that anyway where people pour water on each other's beds when there wasn't even a secret task and in Celebrity Big Brother UK Davina McCall enter the house in a chicken costume as part of a task yeah I think I recall that that was Davina was the face of Big Brother for ages and ages a long time and so a UK season had housemates create blindfolded clay busts of Lionel Ritchie judged by a look-alike that's brilliant I think I remember that and you

remember the video like hello is it me you're looking for so in Celebi in Celebrity Big Brother UK housemates would chain together for nearly seven hours as a task yeah I think I recall that vaguely the thing is I can't remember much about last year's contestants it's weird it's true it's like they were on the they've got like a late and live show after the Big Brother major main show and they show it live and they had housemates from last year and oh I remember them it's weird a you a

UK season featured a fake award show where the housemates had to convince one member it was real and in Celebrity Big Brother UK a task required housemates to dress as farm animals and make corresponding noises sounds about right he was talking about UK for some reason a UK season had a hunk-off contest judged by female housemates with rounds including swimwear and talent probably wouldn't do that these days it would be with all the yeah I don't know how to explain it so I don't like using the word woke but Big

Brother's gone in a certain direction it doesn't stop me watching it because I still enjoy watching it but it's definitely a I think they've forgotten their core audience because they didn't have an agenda when they first put Big Brother on in this country it was for everyone to watch and it still is for everyone to watch but they didn't they didn't cater to any particular audience and over the last few years they seem to be more catered to I don't know just a different kind of audience they very much seem

to be aimed at younger people as well so maybe the statistics is that younger people watch Big Brother but I'm I'm not quite elderly but I do watch it and I know every anyone that I know that watches it is all kind of my kind of age yeah Vinnie just started barking that's what we need more noise yeah thanks her went to the door no one that no one's there we need to come back inside the living room and you need to just stop barking yes I think it caters for

a younger audience now maybe it always did maybe I've just got older it's fine but it's not that I don't I don't want the the contestants to all be older and you know not all the contestants are young either so but there just seems to be a bit of a divide when it comes to the different age groups a little bit I think it dawned on me I think once this is a few years back and a contestant one of the audience members made a joke about the contestants hair said

he looks like he's got a Lego hair and he really did the contestant looked like he had Lego hair and it was very funny to say that and I hadn't thought that I knew there was funny hair and it was a hairstyle it wasn't nothing wrong with his hair he just chose to have his hair like that and he was like a playboy or some kind of like millionaire playboy so you know it was funny but the host straightaway we don't make fun of people's appearances here okay and I'm just

Mickey Rourke got kicked out for something that he wouldn't have got kicked out for five years ago or ten years ago I mean there's been like that a woman in there called Helen in the UK big brother and she was like the stuff she was saying was awful like really bad really as bad as you can get as far as horribleness yeah it's bad it's like there's nothing worse than what she was saying and trust me I know I know I've I've I've dabbled with the horrible stuff in the past
