Hello, welcome to jasonnewland.com. My name is Jason Newland. This is Let Me Boyd Asleep. On Saturday the 25th of January 2025.

Yeah, oh wow. It's only 21 minutes past 6pm and I'm already tired. But boxing's on at half seven so I intend to stay awake for a little while at least.

I was going to say, oh yeah, only listen when you can safely close your eyes if I haven't already said it. And if I have just said it, don't worry, it's not a memory thing, I just don't even notice saying it anymore. My website is pretty groovy.

I only ever yawn at the very beginning and then it's all clear and it's a bit like going to the toilet really. Once it's done, it's done. My website is my podcast.

It's number 233 relaxation hypnosis for stress. And yeah, it's not a long recording on its own. It's what is it? Oh, it's not super short either.

It's 28 minutes. And then like all my other recordings, there's one with music, five and 10 hours without music, five and 10 hours with music. And other than that, so my YouTube channel is at Jason Newland.

I upload a new recording or a new video every time or two actually one is normal length and one is 10 hours both without music on my YouTube channel. 10 seconds of a screen image and then it's a dark screen for the rest of the time. So if you was going to listen to it in bed or you know, so you're not kept awake by the light.

The light? No. And yeah, I think that's it really. Wow.

It is my Facebook group. It's a place where you can join and I post my latest podcasts on there. I also do ask once a week I ask a question, like basically are there any questions for this coming Friday's Q&A Friday.

And I used to usually post that probably on a Tuesday. Tuesday. And that's a good place where you can ask me questions.

Other than that, I'm pretty sure everything else is fine. It's all sorted. Is there anything else to say? I don't think there is.

I think it's all covered. It's very hot in here. Didn't feel hot until I moved.

Not I moved house, but I mean, I was sitting the other side of the room and it didn't feel hot. Now it feels a little bit too stuffy. So I've made two videos for the other recording.

So I'm just going to upload the second one. Upload video. Send in.

Send in healing to others. It's a 10 hour version. And this is what I do.

So I go in, I go to upload it. I had to create the video. And then I post the description.

I take out the date in the title. So the title is not too big. And then I add an image, which is already set up to 10 hours.

Put it into the right category, which is relaxation, hypnosis for stress, anxiety and panic attacks. And then I go down even further to say that there's no altered stuff in the recording, which there isn't in the video. Put down the date, which is today's date, the 25th.

And that I do believe is pretty much everything. I remember the old days, you used to just post it. And that was it.

Uploaded. There wasn't all this ticking boxes and stuff like that. I have to have to put there is no inappropriate language and there's no any of that stuff.

Click on that. Of course, I don't say naughty words ever. Because I am perfect.

There's an angel. That's one of my favorite songs ever. It is, you know.

Vinnie's been a bit of a handful today. He's been good, but then I took him out for his second WALK, which was a couple of hours ago. We're half three, four, half three, four, four, five, three, four, five, six, well, two, two and a half hours or whatever.

And everything was fine. And then we come around the corner, just heading home, and there's a man with a dog, which is like a, I guess, like a sheepdog, you know, one of them black and white ones. Lovely dogs.

He starts barking like growling. And I don't know. I don't know what to do.

I just like I try to stop him, like stop. I'm thinking the bloke's going to keep walking down, but he doesn't. He stops because he's visiting a neighbor.

So I have to pass him again. And Vinnie's just pulling his lead trying to get to the dog. I've got to assume that he just wanted to say hello to the dog.

He was just excited. He's not aggressive, Vinnie. He's not an aggressive dog.

But he sounds aggressive. And I don't like it when other dogs do it to him. So I really don't like it when he does it to other dogs.

The thing is, he doesn't do it to other dogs, doesn't do it to little dogs. He only does it to big dogs, black dogs generally. He's got an issue with black dogs.

It's weird. I mean, I thought maybe he's racist, but apparently it's a color blindness thing that dogs have. Why do small dogs bark at black dogs? Okay, I'm just gonna I'm gonna Google it.

Let's have a look. Why do small dogs bark so much? Why does my dog, small dog bark at larger dogs? No. Barking.

Why does my dog bark at black dogs? Why do decide? No, there's nothing here about barking, barking at black dogs. But he does, he's got an issue with sheep dogs. Which is really weird because they're amongst like the best behaved dogs on the planet.

And he barks is to this is a now another one. There's two other dogs. And both the owners know what Vinnie's like.

They've met him. They know that he's harmless. And I always constantly apologize.

I'm so sorry. He's like this. And he's like, all of that.

Yeah, I'm talking about you. And they're okay with me, which is good. I'm glad they realized that he's just being mouthy.

But I don't understand why. Okay, is this? Well, I'm not getting any response for why. Okay, why do dogs if I click out the small dogs? Why do dogs bark at black dogs? Because I think it's a color is like a why is my dog race? Okay, we're dogs.

Why? Okay. It's really weird. My dog is scared of black dogs.

Oh, got one. Got one. Company of animals.

It's really weird. You'd be going to the internet and suddenly it just comes up with some weird stuff. And I'm joking.

Like when I said I thought he's racist. But now you got all these other people saying just in this era of black. Really? communication between dogs utilizes all of their senses.

But the importance of visual signals was key to their behavior towards one another. The pigment of a dog's lips varies greatly because it has been subject to artificial selection by breeders over time. Dogs are also colorblind to red and green.

Really? They're colorblind to red and green. So their range of vision is limited. Compared to humans, dogs usually have superior low light sensitivity and peripheral vision.

For these reasons, it's more difficult for dogs to recognize the facial facial expressions of black dogs. Okay. So based on that, it could be the can't tell from a distance can't tell.

I suppose where the dogs coming from is a dog friendly or not. Maybe that's what it is. Okay, that kind of makes sense.

If I suppose if the dog's whole face is kind of yeah, covered Marcus. So if dogs go by the facial expressions, which would include like the lips, the teeth and the mouth, some dogs mouse kind of covered up with hair, isn't it? So maybe he can't read that. And that would definitely include a sheepdog.

I know they're not called sheepdogs. I don't know what they're called. Collies colliers and they call us.

I don't want their people to work their minds, mind pits. Collies. So I, he, I think he's scared of black dogs.

But the thing is, the weird thing about it is there's one this bloke, he actually stops and talks to me. And after probably 30 seconds, then he just shuts up. He doesn't care anymore.

So there's something strange, maybe the fact that he knows that I'll get on with this man. And I mean, I get I try and get on with everyone, especially the dog walkers. But it's hard when he's really going at it.

And when Vinnie's like, I'm pointing, he's licking my fingers. Oh, you're so cute. But it is, it is getting, it's hard to have a conversation with another dog owner when Vinnie just won't shut up.

And that seems to be the case, especially with large dogs. There is another large, large dog that he barks at. But the bloke, we talked about boxing.

So sometimes we're talking, we're standing around for like an hour, when I see him talking. And again, Vinnie just shuts up after a while because he's just, he hasn't got the energy, he can't be bothered. And he likes this dog, but he forgets he likes it.

I think he just sees this big, huge and it's dark black dog as well. She sees this and it's a big dog. It's almost like he can't tell.

But I thought this sense of smell was like perfect. So surely. So I don't get it because there are people that neighbours I've got people that Vinnie absolutely loves, like, he will run across the park to get to them.

And I know I can let him off the lead safely. And he won't go anywhere else. And that's weird.

But even if he's a pet, okay, apart from maybe if his best friend turned up one of these dog friends, but he wouldn't be distracted by anything else. It goes straight to this person. And there's one two neighbours over there.

And they broke over the two neighbours over the fence. And two neighbours in in this building as well, who he would, he gets super excited to see. So that's six neighbours, plus from right round the corner.

So that's seven, eight, eight local people that he I could let him off the lead and he would run the other side of the park just to greet them. And they'd lay on his back. You know, and it'd be all excited to see them.

And no matter what, he just wouldn't go anywhere else wouldn't run out of the park, wouldn't run in a different direction. Because he's that excited to see them. One of those is this young lad, he's not young, but compared to me probably is probably in his 30s.

I'd say might might still be in his 20s to be fair. And he lives over the fence. And Finney loves him, like really, really loves him.

And earlier on, bearing in mind, I don't let him off the lead ever. And there was three, four dogs in the park. There was a bunch of humans there as well.

Like dotted around. It's a little park. And the neighbour was walking up.

And Vinnie was looking around at the dogs. And then I said, look, look who it is. And straight away.

You could see the excitement when he saw the neighbour. And I, he has his lead on. So I just let go of the lead.

And he ran straight. I knew he would, I knew he would. He ran straight to him and lay on his back.

And when he's got his lead on, I can catch him. Because, you know, the lead's probably, I don't know, 10 foot long, probably 10 foot. I don't know, not 10 foot, probably five, six foot.

It's shorter than me. So it could be 10 foot. I mean, I don't let him off the lead.

I don't, I don't let him go very often. But there's certain people he will go to. Like there's a little girl that lives around the corner.

He adores her probably more than anybody. She's the only kid that he knows. And she loves him.

And she's, she's known him since he moved here with me. So she's known him for two years, over two years, since he was 10 months old. What is he doing? He just has to destroy things.

He's found something. I could see he was hunting on the ground. I didn't know what it was.

He was trying to find, now I see, something that he could rip up that was really noisy. I don't know what it is. It sounds like plastic.

So yeah, today I haven't done a lot. Although I don't feel bad because I have done enough. You know, whenever I've made a recording, I feel okay.

Like I've accomplished something. Especially if it's like a hypnosis stuff that because I know they that reaches a wider audience than a let me boy to sleeps. The Yeah, that makes sense to me when I said it.

I think it does. Yeah. It's what I mean by that is, let's say if I upload them to YouTube, people won't continue to listen for whatever reason.

They listen to let me boy to sleeps, but they won't be listening to a Let Me Bore You To Sleep, or watching the video on YouTube in six months time, something that I did today. But there's a chance that in six months time, people will still be listening to the sending healing to others that I did earlier, in six months time. It's in my analytics for the last 28 days.

All the most recent ones are the top. But then I've got one from the first of January. Okay, that wasn't that long ago, was it? Okay, that wasn't really good.

It wasn't a good example, really, to be fair. Okay, right. So my, see, you might not know this.

But if you have followed me for a while, especially on YouTube, I had a video called try and stay awake hypnosis challenge, which was, I had like well over 100,000 plays of that video. And every new YouTube channel I started, that would become the most popular video. And I recorded it in 2011.

So it's a fair while ago. I had dark hair. I had a dark beard.

In fact, I don't know if I had a beard in that I might have shaved because I was I was a counselor at the time. So I might have. I think I was going through a period of trying to look fairly smart and professional.

I say that now, but I can't see without looking at it if I had a beard. And I was a lot slimmer back then as well than I am now. Well, not so much slimmer, but just smaller.

Does that make sense? Because I was, I wasn't slim. But if anything, I feel probably slimmer now. But I weigh more than I did back then.

So it's a weird one. I don't quite know how it works. And it's maybe because I do more training.

I've got to be able to say that I work out without laughing. Because it's true I do do exercise. Well, I do weights every day.

But I need to be able to say it without laughing because it sounds like I'm lying. And if I told you I, you know, do three hours on a treadmill every day, then you'd probably be laughing because that would be a lie. Should I join a gym? So my point is, is there a point 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12.

Okay, right. So number 12 is a pain relief technique, which I did. Oh, 2nd of January.

So okay, that's not a good example. Or there's some of the older stuff has been listened to. That's, that's what I was trying to say.

I've even got a very old one from, wow. 2008, maybe 2009, 2008. 2008 or 2000, maybe 2009.

So yeah, that was quite a while ago. Someone did comment, what was the comment they put? Asking me if I could do more like this one. Where is it? I need to go back, go to community.

Hey, Jason, could you make more of these 30 to 45 minute relaxation sleep videos? This format is the best. But it's a video of me on camera. I don't want to be on camera really.

And I mean, I can be on camera. It's just I don't think it's fair on people because I'm just too sexy. And I think it could be distracting for people.

And I put I will try now is from friendly toad 6534 on YouTube. I have started if I if I'm, if I'm understanding you, it's more that you would like relaxation, sleep recordings or videos of recordings. Don't need me on the camera to listen.

And I have started doing that lately. I mean, this week, I've done one just now. It's a 30 minute one.

Well, just now this morning, or earlier on, I did a very relaxing. I did one which lasted for 43 minutes called very relaxing, which was a sleep relaxing sleep hypnosis daily. So that that's exactly what what was asked for.

So I think that'd be okay. I did a one feeling safe, which was 16, nearly 17 minutes long. I did one for 28 minutes, which was deep sleep whisper, which was a observe your mind.

So that that's all this week just gone over the last 2223 24. Yeah, I did one on the 19th was the 19th. Oh, that was last Sunday.

So it was in the last week for spider phobia. And yes, I've done it. I've done a few recordings this week.

I did a face scan as well, which also on the 19th. And for some reason that was all that was 22 minutes. So yeah, I've done and done quite a few outside of the Let Me Bore You To Sleep recordings this week.

So I'd say it's been quite from from that perspective, quite a good week. You know, I mean, kind of, I feel like I've done something of it. So I have accomplished something.

But yeah, kind of, kind of, kind of. And then I'll just have a look what I've done what I've done this week since since last Saturday, which was the 18th. 18th.

So the 18th. So since last Saturday, I have done 12345678910. And this will be the 11th recording I've done since last Saturday.

So 11 recordings in one week. It's not too bad, is it? Not too shabby, really. Yeah, it's not too bad.

Bearing in mind that I had Monday off. What I didn't have Monday off as well. Why did I not do anything on Monday? Is it is that is that a reality? Is that this did that happen? Really lose track.

No, yeah, Monday. No, I did do something on Monday. But then I didn't do anything on Tuesday.

So Monday was technically a fairly good day. I did. I did two recordings on Monday.

No, Sunday, Sunday, isn't it? We're talking about 19th was Sunday. 20th. So I didn't do anything on the Monday.

But on the Tuesday, the 21st, I did. Tuesday, the 21st. Yeah.

So yeah, Monday, I didn't do anything. But I was watching TV a little bit on that day. And some other stuff happened, which Yeah.

But I still managed to do was it how many 12345678910. Yeah. So it's 11 recordings or 10 so far.

And one more today. So 11. So that's that's all right, isn't it? It's okay.

It's all right. It's all right. I mean, 10 a week.

What's that? 520 a year. 11 a week is more than that. So yeah.

Oh, this laptop I tell you it's got something going weird with it keeps just I don't know how to reset it the other day. It just wouldn't work properly. I don't know if I did something that messed with it.

But it seems to be okay now. Oh, you know, my neighbor? Well, you don't know my neighbor, but my neighbor. He's I don't know, like council social worker person called me because I'm down in case he doesn't answer his phone as a like an emergency contact.

So if they need to get hold of him, and he doesn't answer his phone or he doesn't answer his door, they contact me and I get hold of him for them. And so I think it was yesterday. It was yesterday because I was trying to watch the boxing is Inui was fighting in Japan.

And it was started at 730 in the morning went on to gone midday. It was a long, long older session. Oh, excuse me.

Lovely a bit of gas. That's nice. And I got distracted.

So I you know, stop the broadcast and I'm just put it on pause and I'm talking to this lady and then I said, Well, I want to do I'll try and get hold of him. If she was withholding a number. So that's possibly why he wasn't answering.

And that's that I never quite understand why people withholding numbers. It's I kind of understand on one angle, because I used to work at a children's charity, which offered counseling. And I volunteered in the office like one evening a week or two evenings a week, maybe one evening.

And what I would do is I would call up the parents to offer an appointment for the child to come to counseling. If it was, there was a withheld number. Or was it with? Yeah, I think it might have been a withheld number.

But we never used to leave messages. So people phone up phone back said, Who is this? And so yeah, I think we'll do believe messages. I really should sort out this story before I tell it.

I can't remember. But some people get they didn't know that their child was going for counseling. Or one of the parents didn't know and it was and it might have been because of that parent that they were going is like, Oh, and I got stories I could tell you.

I might tell you one day. Yeah, there was one bloke he came in. I'm telling you now and I he came in and I was actually in the counseling session with his son.

And because of the because of the situation, social service has been called regarding the father's behavior towards the son. And he came in and he was shouting and hollering and aggressive and everything like that. And I was in the room of his I was in the counseling room.

There's two side by side. So he was taken into the other counselor room with the manager and the counseling manager as well. And I was in another room hiding behind his son shivering and very weird situation to be in.

But this is why one of those it was. Yeah. I hope it was sorted out.

Okay. I really do. It was a weird one.

Very difficult situation. wasn't the only time had a few of those unfortunately. But I Yes, so I'm on the phone to this lady.

And I said, Okay, what if you send him your telephone number and your name and who you are, ask him to call you. And if you send it to me as well, just in case I need to contact you. And also don't withhold your number because he probably won't answer it if you withhold it.

So she she called her on her office phone. Don't know why she didn't do that start with. And I ring his doorbell and say someone's trying to get hold of you.

And he doesn't like it. He doesn't want anyone coming into his flat, which is understandable. And he doesn't want them hassling him.

And they just they all they're doing is looking out for him because he's elderly. Now, they want to make sure he's safe and he's being looked after. Because he lives on his own and he's 80 pretty much.

And they want to make sure that he's he's all right. But he's you know, he doesn't like it. Anyway, so I go into his flat, he invited me and I said, I'm trying to phone you.

Why didn't you do your phones? It's not even going to answer machine or anything. It's just like nothing. And he said, I said, well, you made that weird noise.

So what do you mean? I said, we don't normally go. He said, Why'd you have to pick up on everything? I apologize. And we went into his flat and the now there's a lot of room, because he's cleared a lot of stuff out of his flat.

These there. So it's quite nice. We can actually hold hands as we walk through the through the hallway together.

It's lovely. And his phone was I think he'd been sitting on it. And it was turned off.

It was it was completely drained. There was no battery. I don't know if he'd had it on vibrate or something.

But yeah, it drained the battery. So he turned it on. And he said, I don't want to talk to that lady.

I don't know who she is. I don't know anyone coming to my house. So I thought, okay.

I said, well, the benefits for you. So you can get stuff done. She can help with sorting things out, like getting a shower, conversion and things like that.

Things that will be useful for you. And he like, I could see him coming around a little bit like, oh, okay. And I said, what I'll do is I'll just ring her to let her know that you to see if she's there.

So I can speak to her and tell her that I've spoken to you. And your phone was off, just you know, run out of battery. So I call a couple of times, she doesn't answer, but it goes to answer machine.

So the third time, I just talked to the answer machine. I talked to my neighbor as I speak to the answer machine. And I said, so I don't know if you want to make an appointment to come around and see him.

And he was like, no, I said, well, maybe Monday. He said, no, Tuesday's better. It's kind of like I was using one of those little sales techniques I used years ago.

Now, what's better for you, Monday or Thursday? And what was better for you, morning or afternoon? Would you like to pay by cash or debit card? Would you like to tickle my feet? My elbows? It's kind of weird, weird sales tactics. Not that I was doing it on purpose. But I just let him get on with it.

But then he needed to do some stuff. He said, well, I'm actually angry at the moment. I said, why? He said, a friend sent me a package.

I'm going to need more information on that. You're angry because someone sent you a package? No, they wouldn't deliver the package. Okay.

Again, more information required. Why are you angry? Someone sent you a package and they wouldn't deliver it? Yeah, because the postage wasn't paid. They want £1.50 off me.

Otherwise, they won't deliver it. So I'm going to have to go and collect it. Oh, no, they won't.

They won't give it to me unless I pay £1.50. So I'm going to have to go and collect it. I said, why don't you just do it on the phone? And he said, nope, I'm not paying money on a phone. Not paying money with my debit card on the phone.

Because there was a card with a telephone number on there and everything. And I said, why not? It's just £1.50. I said, if you do on the phone, it's £1.50. If you get a bus up there, or the journey, it's going to cost you more. It's going to take hours of your day.

You're going to be gone. I did mention it's going to cost him bus fare, but he's probably got a bus pass. I didn't think about that.

I forget he's a pensioner. And I said, he said, no, I'm going to have to go all the way up there. And I thought, this old story.

I've had that for years. I have a friend. I have a neighbour.

I've got to do this. You don't have to do that. There's an easier way.

It's simple. And in the end, I said, I'll do it. I said, come back into my flat.

And he said, I've got to put my shoes on. I'm still angry. OK, well, I'll just leave my door open.

You just come in when you're ready. I go on, I get my phone, go to the website. I pay it £1.50. It's done in like, it's finished before he even gets into my flat.

And now I've got to figure out how to get him out of the flat again. Because I'm joking. I forgot, through all of this, I forgot I was watching boxing.

And I'm about to sit down at the computer and look at some stuff to get him to get to order for him online. That, you know, he was going to pay for it, but I was going to get it ordered. And then I remembered, I'm in the middle of watching boxing, and the main event is about to start anytime soon, which I was correct, it was.

Literally, they were just about to walk into the ring. And I said, sorry, see ya. Gotta go.

I knew, because I'm not in a rude way. I wasn't like, just standing pointing at the door. But with a frown, a big sign, leave.

But I was like, I haven't got time. And he kept talking and talking like, I ain't got, I can't talk now. I want to watch the boxing.

It's a world title fight. It's Inui, who is, is monster, they call him monster. And he's one of the top pound for pound fighters in the world.

And he's a knockout machine. And I didn't want to miss it. And luckily, I didn't miss it.

And it was a really good fight as well. And he did knock him out. And I said, we'll do something on Monday, we'll get some stuff ordered on Monday or Tuesday or something like that.

Because last week, I got a microwave. And the delivery driver dropped it down the stairs twice. I got that on camera.

So I had to send that back. It was broken. Luckily, I got a refund.

Plus, he didn't need a new microwave because he actually bought one on that exact day. It was delivered on that morning. I mean, talk about bad timing.

Anyway, I don't want to do a summary of this week. I'll do that tomorrow. Tomorrow, I'll do a summary of the whole week.

That's going to be Sunday summary. Oh, excuse me. I'm just sniffing now.

Brilliant. Just banged that metal. That metal thing's gonna have to go.

I don't know why. I'm sure I've mentioned it before. I have to get rid of it.

Sunday, Friday, Friday, Friday, Friday, Q&A Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Sunday, which is 20th. 20th? Saturday, Sunday, the 20th? Sunday, the 19th. Sunday, the 19th.

This is my 19th. Let Me Bore You To Sleep. 19th.

19th. This is my 19th. What? This is my 19th in 2025.

On my 19th recording, which means 19th. Okay, so this is my 19th and 25. 25.

This is my 19th, so 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30. So I've done 30 recordings and today's the 25th. So when I said last year, at the end of last year, rather, or the beginning of this year, that I was going to do one recording a day, technically I have.

I just haven't. So, you know, numbers wise, I have done more than one a day. But literally, on the actual day, there's been a couple of days that I've missed.

But on those days that I do two recordings, the day that I miss one, you could take that one that you've, you know, the other one as that day's recording, which is technically something I could do. I could just not release it until I need to, to, you know, maybe have a few set aside for those days that I don't or can't record anything. And I can just release that as the day's recording.

The problem with that is with the Let Me Boy to I do tend to talk about what's actually going on in my life. Generally, like what's happening now. For example, I ordered a Wendy's takeaway.

Don't get many takeaways. I thought I'd treat myself. Saturday night, boxing's on.

And again, different boxing. He said this one's in England. So it starts at 730 should be a good good night.

Admittedly, I ordered it quite early. So I don't know what time it got here. Four o'clock.

It's enough of that knock barking then. Blimey mate, he really makes me jump. Because it's so quiet.

And then he starts shouting. And I tell you, winds me up. Makes me jump as well.

So okay, just some of these and I'm just getting distracted. Why what I got? Right, yeah, it was just before five o'clock. So the color of hours over to put two hours and 20 minutes or something.

But I got it. And I couldn't believe I've had Wendy's I think twice. And it was one of the best burgers I've had.

When I got it. This was back in I don't know, probably December. Yeah, December, maybe November, December time.

Maybe November, or maybe the beginning of December, but the best burger, maybe November, actually. November, I think it was one of the best burgers. In fact, I can actually check.

I can check exactly when it was. So I've got all the previous orders. For some reason, Uber Eats is not letting me log in.

There's some kind of block, which is not a bad thing. It means I can't buy any more stuff from them. So that's where I get my groceries normally.

But there's something that's just not working today. Account orders allow me allow me to do that. Look at previous orders, just not allow me to order anything.

Oh, no, that's not coming up. It's almost like there's no data on my phone, but there is. And I've also got it connected to broadband as well.

So and everything else seems to be working, unless it's because we've had high winds in this country. Maybe the weather has affected the overall masts of the mobile network. But, but, but, but it was working earlier.

And we haven't in my area, haven't had bad weather. I mean, today was actually really, really nice. It was like, if you didn't know it, if you didn't know what you know what month it was, you think it was a summer's day outside.

Like with a blue sky, it was sunny. And it wasn't warm. But it was a lovely day today.

And we had a couple of days of it was it was windy. It was definitely windy, but nothing compared to other parts of the country. And so yeah, it was all Ireland, blimey.

I think Ireland and Scotland really had it really, really strong. So I hope everyone's all right in those places. So I don't know why the internet's being off on my phone.

On the laptop, everything seems to be okay. Pretty much, I think. Yeah, yeah.

Oh, okay. So what I can do is my 10 hour videos now uploaded. Are they still checking? But 10 hours sending healing to others.

Check that out. It's actually quite well. Don't have to but is I think is quite good recording actually.

Thanks for answering my question. Unfortunately, I fell asleep before hearing the answer. This was on my Q&A Friday.

And I had to relisten this morning. Also, I don't watch your YouTube videos because I'm in bed trying to sleep. And you know what, though? I do have.

That's why if you listen to this, Michelle, the I have a dark screen throughout most of the recordings on YouTube. So it's only 10 seconds of an image and then it's a dark screen for the rest. Unless I'm actually on screen myself, then it is like me.

And so what I do is I don't know. I don't know if you'll hear this or not, because you might be asleep by now. I can't believe people fall asleep listening to me.

I actually do believe I'm a very, very interesting person. But not everyone else seems to agree. Agree.

Agree. So what is this? Thanks. So I've got that as answered.

Answered. There's a song that I I've heard it before, but I kind of resonated resonated with me called monsters by what's his name? The posh, posh lad monsters. Monsters.

So James Blunt. And it's I mean, I know it's not it's not a new song. It's been around for for a while.

It's like five or released in 2019. It's really good. And I the lyrics just caught me off guard a little bit.

I've heard it before, but maybe maybe, maybe, you know, it with some stuff that's going on, maybe I kind of it resonated with me a little bit more than it did before. With my own dad's coming, his treatment coming up and stuff. And I gotta be careful what I say about my dad because he doesn't like me talking about personal stuff on podcasts and videos and that.

But yeah, he's having treatment. And he's in treatment intensifies soon. So I just yeah.

He's so positive, though. And that's something that I, I mean, I like to think that I'm fairly positive. But I'm not always very.

I'd say probably more honest than I don't try and pretend that things are okay, if they're not. But at the same time, I try not to catastrophize and make out if things are worse than they are. I try and hold on to the idea that things will work out and everything will be okay in the end kind of way.

So there is a positiveness there. And for me to say, I'll pretend and everything's okay. I'm not saying that other people do that.

I'm just talking about me. Because, you know, sometimes I have done that in the past, just because, well, actually, especially with my nan, I never used to tell her really anything about much about my anything that was not going very well. I'd focus more on what was going well.

And I didn't really, I didn't want to worry. I didn't want to add or become a burden or add add to her own stuff. So I knew that she'd worry.

She worried about me anyway, but I didn't want to do want to give her more to worry about. Yeah. Anyway, it's just strange, strange stuff, really, just relationships, relationships.

So I'm kind of fairly pleased with the way that the podcast is going. Technically, you know, in a way, in a way. The Yeah, it's going all right.

I don't think there's any major surprises really in the last week or the last 28 days like this, this month. There really, really is a big difference in a day when I don't make any recordings and a day when I do. And I know that that's my own.

Oh, wait a minute. That's weird. Okay, I know that's my own doing, because I've created this.

So instead of if I'd have done if I'd made one new, Let Me Bore You To Sleep once a week, then that would have been it. That would have been what people expected. And so if it was released on a Wednesday or Friday, and people would just expect it, those that like listening to it would expect it to be there on a Friday.

Because I just do a lot more than just one a week. And it's been there are times I mean, I've done I think one day this week, I did three. I mean, that's, that's a lot.

It's not a lot in this in itself, if you like, if I just did three recordings, okay, here's a recording, here's another recording, and here's another recording, and just record it. There's a lot of effort on my throat and my voice and stuff, I suppose. I've been a little bit croaky lately, the last couple of days.

It might be the way I'm sitting. Wait a minute. Oh, that's much better.

If only I'd known by sitting upside down, my throat would sound better. So yeah, that was weird. I three in a day is a lot.

Yeah, I think you can it's a good two hours of editing, processing, uploading, sharing, and all that stuff, creating images, creating videos. And it's a good solid two hours for each recording, regardless of how long the recording is. The editing can take longer, if it's a longer recording.

It all depends upon how many distractions I have, or interruptions I have during the recording. So you know, if the phone rings, doorbell goes, Vinnie's barking, I need to go to the toilet, do a wee wee, you know, someone's in the garden shouting, all those things that have a tense tendency of actually occurring. It can be a little bit of a distraction.

And I need to edit that stuff out. It needs to be gone. But if there's, which sometimes happen, I just do a recording, no interruptions.

And literally the whole thing is smooth, smooth as my knees. After I shaved them three times, it's just, it just runs smoothly. And it's nice.

It still takes a couple of hours for the whole processing and uploading and all that stuff. Even if the processing, you know, the editing doesn't take long. Everything else still takes the same amount of time.

So if I've got three recordings, that's at least six hours of the back end work. You know, the behind the scenes, behind the scenes. It sounds so groovy, doesn't it? I do a lot of behind the scenes work.

Oh, yes. It's, I guess you probably class it more as administration duties. And then let's say one of those recordings is an hour and a half.

The other two recordings are like 45 minutes. So I might end up with three hours or two and a half hours, three hours of actually recording time. And then another six hours added on to that, which is what nine hours.

So between eight and nine hours, I would have spent recording like the whole thing. And that's a lot. It's just a lot.

It's a lot to do. So I mean, one, that's one. If I do a Let Me Boyd Asleep, it's rare that I do less than an hour on these.

Often I'll do an hour and a half, maybe an hour, maybe an hour and 20, sometimes two hours, but generally are roughly about an hour and a half. I'd say on average. Let's have a look.

I'm gonna make myself a cup of tea. I don't know why I just got, I just got excited about that. I'm gonna make myself a cup of tea.

I really am. So Let Me Boyd Asleep, Q&A Friday was a shorter one than normal but it was an hour and 37 minutes. Steve Martin Movies, hour and 16.

That was the one before that. And then podcast titles was hour and 31. And blip or a blip, which was an hour and 37.

This week, January the 19th. This week was January the 19th, which was Sunday. I knew I did a Let Me Boyd Asleep on the 19th, on Sunday.

And it was called this week, because I was going to start calling them Sunday summary. I know I did the Sunday news, but I'll be honest, it's so hard to find anything, even mildly nice, among the news. And in order for me to find the nice, gentle stuff, I've got to sift through the horrible stuff.

And it doesn't put me in a particularly great frame of mind, really. I don't know how to explain it. But yeah, so this this week was one hour 17 minutes.

That was on Sunday. This is my 19th. And that was the 18th.

So that was Saturday. That was an hour and 16. And then number 1271.

Let Me Boyd Asleep, Q&A Friday, 2016. Then 1270 My Fatty Adventure was one hour 14. Then you've got a sunny day, which was 1269.

53 minutes and 20 seconds. That's got to be the shortest Let Me Boyd Asleep in ages. And then the day before that cleaning jobs on our sleepy boring objects.

Oh, 1267. Let Me Boyd Asleep, We Ventured Outside was hour 42. Q&A Friday, the previous week, one hour 35.

Okay, that's all right. Then. So yeah, it's usually it's over an hour.

But or even a Q&A Wednesday whisper was 59 minutes 54 seconds. Oh, maybe I'm gonna start making shorter recordings. Maybe.

Maybe. It's possible. It is possible.
