Hello and welcome to jasonnewland.com. My name is Jason, this is your daily relaxation session for stress, anxiety and panic attacks. This is, I'm trying to think what day it is, don't you know, I think it's about day 20 or 21. I'd like to follow on from yesterday's session and do another short one because I got to thinking about the things that would have been useful for me in the past, before I knew maybe about some of these techniques or maybe some of these ideas.
What would have been useful for me to do when I only had a few minutes? Because I didn't smoke, I wasn't able to go outside and have a cigarette break. And because I stopped smoking many, many years ago. But do you hear any clicking by the way? It's just the radiator that's coming on.
You probably hear it now, now I mentioned it, you probably might not have noticed it before. But it's really useful to have something that you can use to change how you feel very, very quickly. And it's not about necessarily transforming your life in two minutes.
It's about transforming how you feel in that moment in two minutes or however amount of minutes that you have available. So ultimately, it's about using what you can in what limited time you have. And personally, I have a lot more time than I used to do this stuff.
So which is why I'm able to make these videos for you. But there's been times in my life when I was working long, long hours, you know, and didn't give myself the time to have a break. And when I did have a break, I'd go and make a cup of coffee.
And I'll be drinking caffeine. And that's just fueled the adrenaline. So it wasn't really helpful for me.
I didn't realize it at the time. So here's another short technique. Still managed to yabber on lots and talk lots before I tell you about the technique, don't I? But this is kind of an extension of what I did yesterday.
We're kind of like in a similar kind of thing. So we're going to use the magic mirror like I used yesterday. Okay.
But we're going to miss out some of the bits. It's going to be a different kind of technique, but it's going to use the same kind of idea. If you watched yesterday's, you know what I mean.
Otherwise, you might not watch yesterday. So you don't need to watch yesterday's to do this. So I'm going to ask you to do is to close your eyes, if it's safe for you to do so.
Of course, first of all, get yourself into a comfortable position, lying down on a safe, comfortable bed, flat surface, or sitting in a comfortable chair, one ideally with sides so that supports you just in case you did fall asleep. So I'm going to imagine that you've got a couple of minutes in order to do this. So something that you might want to be able to do on the bus, on a train.
Obviously, not if you're driving the bus or the train, but if you're a passenger, or just waiting somewhere where you can close your eyes for a couple of minutes without being disrupted or anything. But even if you are interrupted, it doesn't matter because you just wait until that situation's gone and you find another couple of minutes to do it. So I don't normally do this for these sessions, but wait a second.
I don't normally do this when I do the relaxation sessions or any hypnosis sessions, but he's just woken up and he popped in and I thought I'd say hello to people. So I know that as a few of you used to watch the videos, I used to do the vlogs and he used to be in them. He was a star with them actually.
And I thought I'd just have him do a little guest appearance. His name's Andre. Hello, hello.
And he's my son. That's my little boy. Only the most beautiful boy in the world.
Your daddy's a little boy, isn't he? So he's a pole cat or a ferret, whatever you want to say. That's him. That's his body, quite long.
And look at his beautiful face. He's come in here because it's time for his dinner. So you want me to get on, don't you? So I can hold him while I do this.
So I'd like you to close your eyes and just imagine yourself looking into this mirror. So this time you don't have to get in touch with how you feel first. It really is a case of just stepping into the mirror straight away, stepping into the mirror.
And because it's a magic mirror, it allows instantly for all of those parts of your body which have stress and anxiety and any panic connected to just dissolve. So this magic mirror, whilst you're in it, allows all those muscles, all those anxieties, stresses, pains, whatever they are, to completely dissolve instantly. In fact, it's like you can visually see it, even though you can't see it, but you can like feel the melting of that sensation in all the different parts of your body.
And this happens very quickly. It's not something that happens slowly. It doesn't take long.
It just happens immediately the second you step into that magic mirror. And then when you feel the most comfortable that you feel and you really feel relaxed and calm, just step out. And you step out leaving all of that anxiety, stress, strain, pain, everything in the mirror.
You leave it in there and you walk out. And you can look in the mirror and all that's left there is just like these shapes left. Maybe it's a shape of your body, but just the shapes of where the stresses and strains were in your body.
It's like it's left a mark in the mirror, but it's inside the mirror and you can't get out of the mirror. It's gone. And you can just open your eyes.
It's that quick. It's that easy. And the more you do it, the easier it gets, the more quickly it happens.
So I'll go through it again. You just find a nice quiet place where you've got a minute or two to yourself. Close your eyes.
Imagine that magic mirror in front of you. Step inside it. Immediately notice how all the stresses and anxiety, all the different parts of your body are just melting.
And when you feel completely relaxed, step out of the mirror, leaving those feelings in the mirror. And you can look at it and see it. Maybe you can see your body in your shoulders and your neck, where your neck was.
The few stains of where the tension was. And you can open your eyes and feel relaxed and calm and move on with the rest of your day. And the more you do this, the easier it becomes.
And I would suggest doing it every day. So that's the end of that session. And Andre wants to go.
Say goodbye, Andre. Say goodbye. So this wasn't the most professional session because Andre is here.
But it's probably the most fun one for me. I love it when he's here with me. He's always here with me, but he's normally, right now, he's looking for his dinner.
He's actually gone into the kitchen. He's preempted me. He's just waiting in there for me to go and get his dinner.
So I'm going to go and get his dinner now. So thank you for watching. Again, like yesterday, it's a short session.
But it's something that you can do, something that you can practice, build upon. It's also something that you can adapt to your own personality. You can make changes, because it's your mind.
You can adopt it yourself. It belongs to you. You own it.
So you can do whatever you want with it. And in the same way, every time you hear my voice, you naturally feel more relaxed. Every time you see my face on a video, you naturally feel calmer and more alert and more open to ideas, new ideas, maybe old ideas that I've already said in the past, knowing that it all interconnects in a way that can transform your life.
So that's the end of this session. Thank you for watching. And Andre says he loves you all.
Actually, what he really said is, where's my bloody dinner? All right, Andre, I'm coming. So thank you for watching this and I'll see you tomorrow. Bye.
I'm going to go and feed Andre now.
