Hello and welcome to Relax and Sleep Hypnosis Daily. My name is Jason Newland and please only listen when you can safely close your eyes. My website is jasonnewland.com and if you can hear any background sound, I do apologize, but occasionally there is some background sound.

So my advice would be to listen to the version with the background music because that'll pretty much drown out any background sound. So basically my laptop seems to be overheating as it's processing a video. I can't believe this.

I hope it's okay. It's not started smoking yet. And mind you, I don't want it to start really.

I mean, so this recording, did I say only listen when you can safely close your eyes? This recording will be aimed at relaxing your mind. We're not going to focus on your body, we're just going to focus on your mind. And when your mind relaxes, your body just follows anyway.

And the more relaxed your mind becomes, it's almost as if the stress or the tension just melts off of your bones. It just melts away. And you sink deep into your chair or your bed.

And sometimes it can feel as if your body is actually just disappeared. Now, one of the things that many people have said over the years, why they listen and the reason they first start listening to me is because they have an overactive mind. There are too many thoughts in their mind when all they want to do is relax or maybe go to sleep.

Of course, going to sleep involves relaxing to start with as well. And that's something that I've tried to address over the years, to constantly find new ways to explore how your mind can slow down and find other options for your thoughts to move into a new direction away from your mind. Sometimes they can just be sucked out of your mind almost like they were metal filings and you have a magnet on the top of your head and it just sucks the thoughts away and you just pull them through and they're gone.

Sometimes, you know, you can imagine that the thoughts are just all standing there waiting for your attention and the bottom is a trap door and it opens and they all just fall out. All the thoughts just fall away. You could decide that you just want to get rid of the negative thoughts, the thoughts that are unhelpful to you.

So you could just spray a certain disinfectant into your mind, one that only dissolves the negative thoughts and leaves your positive thoughts completely healthy and intact. And you can just watch as that spray fills your mind all foggy and then starts to gradually clear and you can see how much more space there is. You can also feel the difference in your mind as it feels emptier, less intrusion, less interruption, allowing you to let go and relax.

You could send a cleaning force into your mind, this miniature cleaning force that will give your mind a deep, deep clean. Basically, just washing everything, cleaning all down, removing any remnants of negativity from your mind and basically clearing everything out. So if you were going to do a deep clean, you'd remove the furniture, any furniture you could, you'd take out of the room so you could clean the carpet.

That's what happens with the thoughts, because you don't need, you don't really need any thoughts when you're relaxing deeply. You don't need any thoughts when you're falling asleep. So just like the furniture, those thoughts can be removed temporarily while the cleaners clean the walls and the ceiling and the floor, the carpet.

Getting rid of all signs of negativity or emotional distress, all gone, cleaned and washed away. And just like someone that's maybe cleaned the carpet and the carpet's still wet, you're going to leave the furniture outside of that room, outside of your mind, separate until the carpet is clean and dry. So you can just allow the floor, the carpet, the walls, the ceiling to dry while you relax.

And any of those important positive thoughts will still be there for when you decide you're ready to focus on them in the future. Out of sight, out of mind. There's something about your mind just turning down the volume of those thoughts, literally in your mind seeing a volume button.

And you can just, it's got dials on, you can turn it around. You can turn it either way, you can turn up the volume of the thoughts in your mind, or you can turn down the volume. You could turn it to full maximum, or you could turn it down so it's completely gone.

In fact, if you look next to there, you've got the mute button, you just press that and it all stops. All stops. You can imagine that the thoughts in your mind all start to just join together, making one big ice cube, one ice cube.

And then the top of your head opens up and the sun, you can see the sun shining down through the top of your head into your mind, onto that ice cube. The hot sun gradually melting that ice, melting those thoughts, just noticing how it feels. You may have stopped focusing because you found yourself drifting.

You found yourself drifting, so relaxed, so calm and peaceful. And you may only half be listening to me, you may hear the words but not want to actually participate, because you're so deeply relaxed and your mind drifting. You may even struggle to remember anything that I've said, or why you're even listening, as you drift even further, further still.

You may not even remember pressing the play button, drifting further, further still. And you can enjoy that sense, knowing that, relaxing so deeply, because you you calm and relaxed, letting go, drifting, not following, but leading the way into the most relaxing feeling you could possibly experience. So relaxed, peaceful, calm, letting go, drifting, letting go.

As I count down from 10, all down to one, each number sends you twice as deeply relaxed. Now, 10, drifting, letting go. 9, drifting, letting go.

8, drifting, letting go. 7, drifting, letting go. 6, drifting, letting go.

5, drifting, letting go. 4, drifting, letting go. 3, drifting, letting go.

2, drifting, letting go. 1, drifting, letting go.
