Hello and welcome to jasonnewland.com. My name is Jason Newland and this is Relax and Sleep Hypnosis Daily. Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes. Thanks for listening.

Please make yourself comfortable before proceeding. Ideally either sitting on a comfortable chair that supports your body in the event of falling asleep or lying down on your bed. And so if you were to lie down there's a much higher chance of falling asleep.

So if you're listening to this just so that you can relax, I suggest you maybe set an alarm. In case you fall asleep because my voice is so damn boring that your mind is very likely to just switch off. The process normally starts with your mind showing a little bit of interest into what's going on, especially if you've listened in for the first time.

But if you've listened before your mind, not that your mind runs around, runs away screaming, but your mind would not want to listen to me. Your mind will slow down and it's almost like they just shut the shop down, shut everything and just left for the day. Because your mind knows what it's like to listen to me droning on.

Which is a good thing if your intention, listening to this, your intention is to reduce, if not completely eradicate, eradicate overthinking. That constant bombardment of thoughts that can sometimes get in the way of being able to relax and sleep deeply. Okay, now one of the main benefits of listening to me is that my voice seems to be the antidote to an overactive mind and lots of thoughts, maybe intrusive thoughts, don't like listening to me.

They don't, they can't seem to stay in the same space as my voice. So as you can imagine in some situations being the most boring person in the world isn't always useful, especially in job interviews. Other times when you're listening to me because you just want your, your mind to calm down and you wish to spend some time feeling relaxed.

This is almost the best place to be, just lying down or sitting comfortably with your eyes closed and you can notice how your body starts to relax almost straight away. And instantly your mind starts to slow down and then you start to notice that you are feeling more comfortable. Your body starts to feel looser and you can test this just by focusing on various parts of your body.

For example, your shoulders, you could raise your shoulders if it's okay to do so, just gently and let them just drop down. Realizing the comfort that may be there now that wasn't there a few minutes ago. And how your shoulders are connected to so many other parts of your upper body.

And obviously they're connected to your arms and maybe that sense of comfort and looseness that's in your shoulders starts to spread into your arms if it hasn't already done so. Like a dripping tap, just dripping that comfort and peacefulness into your arms. And perhaps you can just turn that tap on a bit more so it's no longer just dripping, but there's a nice gentle flow of that relaxation now spreading through your arm.

Both your arms, your upper arms, the elbows, forearms, your wrists, and then moving gently into your hands, spreading through the palms of your hands, the backs of your hands, your fingers, your fingertips, and you can maybe get more in touch with the physical sensations of feeling more relaxed in your hands by just moving your fingers around. I don't mean moving them to different parts of the house, just moving them, wiggling them gently.

The part that's connected to your shoulders would be your neck, just moving up a short bit as you reach your neck.

And of course, that area between your shoulders and your neck. So maybe that spread of calmness and relaxation can spread upwards this time into the back of your neck, the sides of your neck, and even the front of your neck and your throat. Relaxing, feeling calm and loose.

And you may find that you can really get in touch with this increased comfort by just moving your head around very gently. Turning your head, maybe bowing your head down, maybe allowing it to go back a little bit. Very gently, only within the region that you'll feel comfortable doing so.

So no big stretches or anything like that. And the other parts that are connected to your shoulders would be your back, just moving into your back, the top of your back. And then of course, the whole of your back is connected.

And as earlier with your arms, maybe you can turn that tap on, which is spreading the deep, relaxing comfort from your shoulders into your upper back. And then just turning that tap on, allowing the whole of your back to start to experience more of that deep comfort spreading through all the muscles of your back, down the sides of your back, down the middle of your back, either side of your spine, all the way down the middle, all the way down to reach your hips, your lower back, spreading that deep relaxation into every muscle of your back.

And that same feeling that's still in your shoulders, being connected to your chest.

So you can focus now on your chest as that relaxing feeling in your shoulders spreads through the front of your body, connecting with your neck, your throat, moving down to your collarbone and sinking deep, deep into your muscles and your ribs, your chest bones. And like before, that tap of deeply relaxing comfort can be turned on to allow these relaxing, calming feelings to continue dripping and spreading in deep, deep comfort.

So, so relax, moving down your chest into your stomach, sinking deep, deep into your stomach, deep, deeply relaxing all the muscles of your stomach.

And you can get in touch with this new feeling of comfort just by enjoying, really enjoying just how easy you find yourself able to choose to let go completely and relax, deeply relax yourself and the muscles of your body. As that feeling continues into your hips, spreading down the front of your body, into your groin, into your hip bones, and down the back of your body, into your buttocks, into your sides.

So relaxed as it spreads beyond your hips, into your legs, relaxation spreading, deeply relaxing sensation now spreading through your legs, your thighs, your knees, really letting go.

As that feeling spreads into your ankles and your feet, and your toes, the tops and the bottoms of your feet, in between your toes and each individual toe, and just relax your mind completely, relax your mind completely.

Paragraph spacing and recurring name or title errors have been tidied. Because this began as a voice transcription, an occasional word or piece of punctuation may still be incorrect.
