Hello and welcome to jasonnewland.com. My name is Jason Newland and this is Sleep Hypnosis Weekly. Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes. There will be two versions of this recording, one with one without music.
The music is provided by Kevin MacLeod and the details will be in a description. Also the one with music will be two hours long. I do two versions because I've had messages from people to tell me you know some people prefer with music some people prefer without music.
So I do both so you get to choose. Now I'd like you to get yourself comfortable ideally lying down on a flat surface you know bed. I mean some people may prefer to sit down you know lay down on a sofa uh something like that or recline in a chair.
I mean this is going to be both a relaxation and a sleep session. So I would suggest if you're just looking to relax then you know a chair is fine providing it's got sides and it supports your body for you know if you were to fall asleep. And if you are planning to go to sleep a bed would be better if you can.
And the last thing is if you're listening for the relaxation only then and if you've got things to do then I suggest you set your alarm to wake you up because well it's very boring you know it's a very boring recording and listening to my voice even if I was just talking about the weather or about my interesting life you may still find yourself drifting off to sleep or maybe because you're enjoying feeling relaxed you may not want to get up and do stuff you know.
So that is one of the effects of listening to recordings like this is because it can be it can be a little bit boring as you focus on my voice and because you're not doing anything else except listen to my voice only. It seems to almost chase away those thoughts that were were in your mind before you decided to listen to me talk about whatever it is I'm going to be talking about in this recording.
You can just notice if you like that your body has already started to relax and there's something a little bit intriguing about the word relax because you may notice that when I say the word relax you may experience a certain feeling almost a reaction in your body maybe in your mind perhaps emotionally and just as I said that I heard in the distance a plane just sort of going over so long it's a long way away and then I heard my stomach gurgling a little bit which it does when I'm when I relax deeply.
I felt a sense of freedom that comes from relaxing because because there is a real meditative experience that seems to occur for me anyway when I just sit here in my chair I got my eyes closed and I'm just talking to you and there really feels almost I don't know what the right word would be but I guess relief a sense of relief almost almost like a big lorry full of sand that's just tipped the sand out and now the the lorry or you know truck whatever is just able to
relax without that pressure and the driver of the lorry is able to relax because the job's done and the person having the sand delivered can relax because they've had what they've paid for delivered and the sound relaxes because once the pouring of the sand onto the ground is complete it then goes back to being calm almost silent so this is a it's kind of a an all over satisfaction and comfort so in your body your mind emotionally consciously unconsciously and parts of you you know your body relaxes but your breathing
also relaxes and all this stuff seems to occur naturally in its own time without any type of pressure required it feels nice when you realize that you're just feeling calm when you realize that this is the moment that you're experiencing this is It's the moment that we are sharing this comfort and calmness and what I quite like is how your body is able and willing to relax and let go so completely, so easily, you can feel exactly how you feel and that sense of comfort in your body and I find myself drifting,
I guess it's the winding down and loosening of those past limiting beliefs, those beliefs about yourself that I've gotten in the way of your happiness feels so nice, enjoying a deep relaxation and there's something about relaxing, so it's almost as if there's a short pathway and you know that pathway leads your body and mind and even though sleeping, sleeping
Paragraph spacing and recurring name or title errors have been tidied. Because this began as a voice transcription, an occasional word or piece of punctuation may still be incorrect.
