Hello and welcome to jasonnewland.com. My name is Jason Newland. This is Sleep Hypnosis Weekly. Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes.

Hope you are well and Happy New Year. Happy 2021. I would like to say a big thank you for all your support over the last year.

Thank you, really thank you for listening and I hope you continue to listen and I hope I can continue to be of use to you. So thank you very much, thank you very much. So I'm going to continue the way I've been going in a way so these recordings are both relaxation and sleep.

Thinking I should really rename the podcast to Relax and Sleep Hypnosis Weekly, which I might do because the relaxation part literally is 99% of the journey. So I'm going to continue down this road. I have two different versions, one with music, one without.

The one with music will be about two hours long and that will have the music will be by Kevin MacLeod and his details will be in the description of the podcast. So as ever, I'm going to ask you to get yourself into a comfortable position. If you're listening specifically for relaxation, or even if you're listening for the sleep as well, and you need to be somewhere in a couple of hours time, I'd suggest you set your alarm.

If you listen to relaxation, you may find yourself falling asleep. It's just, you know, I think it's a natural thing to do anyway, when you become so calm, and your mind starts to drift, there's a natural calmness that is there, which which is very similar, if not identical, to that feeling that naturally leads to sleep, naturally moves forward. It's as if the journey continues from being so relaxed in your body and your mind, that everything changes.

For one thing, you don't care about anything. When you're so relaxed, you don't care about anything. And it's not that you don't care.

Really, you know, not in a a conscious state. There's stuff that we all care about. You don't lose that compassion.

You just, it just drifts away. There's nothing that needs your attention. Everything just drops away.

In fact, we can go even further than than, you know, not being concerned or bothered by anything. Also, it gets to the point where everything seems to almost disappear, disappear. Everything, everything seems to just vanish.

And you don't care. And if you were told this, you know, written down before you listened, that when you listen to this, you'll stop caring about everything. It may sound like almost like a lie.

How? How can you let go everything and feel so relaxed in your body and so still in your mind that everything everything drops away. The world itself no longer seems to exist. The world no longer seems to exist.

And even though as you allow 1% of your conscious thought to arise, you know that of course the world exists. And of course you care about things as that 1% starts to vanish. You start to feel feel more at home in your own skin, appreciating yourself and your natural ability to really disappear, disappear.

And time, time no longer seems to work the way that it used to. The peacefulness in this moment, it really does come down to this feeling, this feeling, and I suppose this feeling of confidence and safety may feel different for all of us. It still has the same energy and power to relax your body and relax your mind.

Feels and you don't want to leave this feeling because it feels almost in your mind will drift, truly start moving forward towards sleep, feeling, moving gently. And the more you drift into that sleepiness, a more and deeper sense of relaxation grows stronger, every stronger. As you know that this deep relaxation and your natural ability natural ability to sleep deeply is something that you're born to be able to make the most of this skill of relaxing and being so relaxed, so relaxed, so sleepy, so relaxed, moving, sleeping, relaxing, time to sleep.

Paragraph spacing and recurring name or title errors have been tidied. Because this began as a voice transcription, an occasional word or piece of punctuation may still be incorrect.
