Hello and welcome to jasonnewland.com. My name is Jason Newland and this is Relax and Sleep Hypnosis Daily. Please listen when you can safely close your eyes. Now I have changed the name of this podcast.
It was Sleep Hypnosis Weekly. Now due to the success of the podcast and the positive comments and reviews and people sort of seem to like it. So what I thought I would do is make more regular recordings and start to do it daily.
I've changed the name to Daily instead of Weekly. Also added the Relax and Sleep because these recordings have become, I guess always were, really available for people. If you just want to relax you can listen and if you want to go to sleep you can listen.
So it's not just for people that want to fall asleep. And there will be two versions of each recording. One with one without music and the music is provided by Kevin MacLeod.
It's free to use, copyright free music that I use. I use the same piece of music for every recording and the link to Kevin MacLeod's website is in the description. And the one with music lasts for about two hours.
Now each day will be different yet kind of similar as well. It's just me talking. And in the process of me talking you can allow yourself to just let go.
Allow your body to relax. Allow your mind to slow down and basically just let go of everything for the duration of the recording. And if you listen daily you'll notice that the more often you listen the quicker you become relaxed.
Deeply relaxed physically and in your mind and the easier you find yourself falling asleep as well. Now I will record this at various times of the day and night so there's always a chance of a bit of background sound but that's okay. I think some people have moaned in the past.
Oh I don't like these sounds of birds in the trees. That's no good when I'm trying to get to sleep. There's actually a bird, quite a loud bird in the garden now.
But it's summertime or springtime so the birds are kind of around a lot. And part of what I'm trying to do here is to attempt to encourage the listeners to let go of some of those fixed and limiting ideas about what should be instead of reality. So the reality is there's a bird in the garden whilst I'm recording this.
That's the reality. Now no matter how much I wish the bird wasn't there it makes no difference to the fact that it is. So you can sit there or lay down on your bed getting angry about the bird that you may hear in the background.
Although you won't hear much, you know, there's not a lot of background sound with this microphone. But that's a choice to sit there getting angry about something that doesn't really need it. And you do have a choice.
You can change, you can turn a recording off, you can listen to a different recording. You can choose to ignore it. You can choose to embrace it.
And that goes for not just any slight background sounds you may hear in this recording, but also background sounds in your own environment. For example, you might be lying down in your bed, in your bedroom, and you may have kids in the next room watching television. You might be able to hear the television, you might be able to hear the kids laughing.
And that's the reality of the situation. And we don't need to move away from reality in order to relax. Because in reality, reality, when we fight against reality, that's when stress increases.
When we fight against what is and fill ourselves with those ideas of what it should be this way, it should be that way, this shouldn't be happening. Well, we all feel that way about stuff. We all would like things to be different at times.
Now, there's certain things we can do to change the situation. Maybe listen when the children are asleep. Or, you know, as an example.
But if you would like to have more flexibility in your life, to do more of the things that you want to do, maybe need to do, then being able to let go of some of those limiting beliefs and limiting attitudes or limiting opinions may be useful. Because the more of those that you let go of, ultimately the happier you will be as a person. Because those, it's the little things that build up.
The little things, the little grumbly things, they can really build up to cause a lot of uncomfortable feelings in us. So when we, when you decide to just let go of that stuff, when you realize that you won't be controlled by those petty emotions, and you refuse to fight against the reality of the situation by filling your mind with shoulds, you know, this should be different. When you allow that thinking to just drop on the floor and smash into a million pieces, you can then relax.
Now, that's not to discount the fact that at times, changes are required in your life, as in all of our lives. But that's your choice. Those are your decisions to make, how you want your life to be.
But in the now, in this moment, what we have is what is here. So you've got me waffling on into this microphone, moving forward towards relaxation, trying to maybe make an impression to your mind that letting go of everything for a period of time whilst listening now is something that may be beneficial to you in this moment, to just relax in your body and allow your mind to slow down so any thoughts of negativity can start to be separated from the thoughts of positivity.
You can almost, if you choose, color code those different thoughts, and the ones color coded as negative can start to just turn to dust.
Just evaporate in the air, turn into dust. Because they're not needed, and you decide they're no longer welcome. Because they're toxic, harmful, and provide you with no benefit to your life or your happiness.
Negativity is just poison. And as you have decided to allow those positive thoughts to become stronger, to become more prominent, to in fact take over your mind, as the negative thoughts just turn to dust, this changes the way that you feel inside. You can start to notice that your body is feeling calmer, as is your mind.
And everything seems to just slow down. Slow down. And what this slowing down gives you, is an opportunity to take some time, to take a break from that negative thinking that was there before you decided to turn those thoughts, those negative thoughts into dust.
And allow your positive thinking to increase, and to become prominent, and in charge. So that when you focus on your mind, not only is it so much calmer, there's also a sense of uplifting, a feeling of confidence, positivity, filling your mind, and spreading those positive, relaxing, feelings. From your mind down, through your body, filling your shoulders, your neck, your back, chest, and stomach, your arms, and hands, and fingers, and your hips, legs, feet, and toes.
Noticing the feelings of confidence that you can experience more, and more. With not just every passing breath, but not just with every passing minute, but these feelings of confidence that are continuing to spread through your nervous system. Spreading and filling your bones and the muscles, of your body.
This confidence continues with you, not just during this recording, but also when the recording ends, you will still have these deeply relaxing, confident feelings within every particle of your being. Every particle of your existence continues to feel more relaxed, relaxed. And that feeling as it continues to grow stronger, you may notice that you really do start to feel a bit tired, maybe a lot tired.
As your mind may start to just gently drift, you may not even currently be aware of your mind drifting. But it's very natural. As your mind drifts, your body continues to feel even more deeply relaxed.
It's a nice feeling to just be available to yourself to allow these feelings feelings of comfort and calmness to grow and spread throughout your entire body. All the time, calm in your mind. As you focus on my voice, you may also notice a sense of peacefulness that surrounds your body, protecting you from everything, keeping you safe, keeping you safe.
And as you enjoy noticing how everything is so calm, so loose, so able to let go, those sensations of comfort that seem to travel with you wherever you go also appear to be spreading even more deeply into your mind and in your brain, healing healing every part of your brain, every part of your mind, every part of your body. Every part of your body feels a sense of safety, calm and relaxed, peaceful, so very peaceful.
And I'm going to say the word relax in a minute.
I want to say the word relax. Your body will become twice as relaxed, twice as relaxed. Now relax, relax.
Paragraph spacing and recurring name or title errors have been tidied. Because this began as a voice transcription, an occasional word or piece of punctuation may still be incorrect.
