Hello, welcome to jasonnewland.com, my name's Jason Newland and this is Sleep Hypnosis Weekly. Please only listen to this when you can safely close your eyes. I'm sitting up in my bed as I speak to you, I would try and lie down but I just fall asleep.
So this is my kind of half way position in a sense of being in bed and at the same time you know, trying to stay alert enough to talk. However, there's something just, I don't know, about just being in bed. There's that connection of being in contact with your bed that just causes you to feel relaxed and tired.
It's almost an emotional connection, it's a very real connection. It's when you think about it, you know I'm sure you've had different beds over the years but there's always been that emotional connection right from very early age of what bed is for, generally for sleeping, being able to lay down safely. Your body automatically relaxes and your head touches the pillow and your mind starts to slow down.
Now there's something quite nice, that feeling of natural relaxation that occurs when your body touches the bed. I don't know, it's kind of like a safety, a safety connected to the fact that your bed supports your body, physically support your body, allowing you to just lie there and enjoy letting go of the day, enjoy that sense of pleasure that you can experience if you just lie there, not needing to do anything, not needing to say anything, just being there, being here now, experiencing this moment colliding into the next moment.
That's the thing with time, you can't hold on to it, it's like sand moving through your fingers, blown away in the wind, each moment passing by you feel more relaxed, each moment passing by your mind slows down even more, each moment you hear my voice, nothing else seems to matter, it's as if you've just gone to that safe space inside your mind without any distractions, not needing to think about anything or anyone, not even yourself, feeling safe and secure, to just drop any and all thoughts onto the floor,
let them just dissolve into the floor, as your mind feels so clear, so relaxed, like a still river, completely still and it feels so nice to be part of that stillness, knowing that you can feel this way whenever you choose, to experience more relaxation and more quietness in your body and your mind, it's also so easy to let go of even the idea of letting go of anything, because you don't need anything or anyone, because you have yourself in this safe space where your body can relax so very much,
relaxed with every passing moment that glides into the next passing moment, and your body starts to become part of that still, quiet river, completely still, silent, sleepy, the river becomes part and embedded in your mind and it's almost difficult to know what part is your mind and what part is that still, calm, relaxing river allows you to enjoy that stillness, enjoy that serenity, deep deep relaxation continues to spread through every fibre of your being, continues, continues to feel so very quiet in every muscle and in your brain, so calm,
so still like that river, completely relaxed and tired, so completely calm, with every passing moment you continue to drift, drift as that looseness within your mind, that part of your brain, that's responsible deep deep sleep is stimulated within your brain, and as that happens your eyelids and your face become so heavy, your body feels like it's sinking into the bed, and your mind, your mind starts to drift and feel so comfortable, feel so nice, so relaxed, drift, really really drift, feel comfortable, just enjoy, knowing that you can let go completely, so so deeply, deeply relaxed, drift, drift,
Paragraph spacing and recurring name or title errors have been tidied. Because this began as a voice transcription, an occasional word or piece of punctuation may still be incorrect.
