Hello and welcome to Let Me Bore You To Sleep. My name's Jason Newland. Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes.

My website is jasonnewland.com. I just re-invented it. Re-invent? I didn't invent websites, did I? Blimey. Just got my website back online.

Oh, blimey, that was a nice yawn. That was quite satisfying. I, my website was offline for a little while, now it's back online in a new format.

And it's basically the podcast. So all the latest recordings, you know, that's it really. But you can actually not only play, but you can download the recording as well.

There's a few pages on there. Oh, wow. Let's see, you've got episodes, there's a page, podcasts, this is in the menu.

With the podcasts, you can click on that, and I list all the different podcasts. And they're the ones that are on Spreaker. So there's hypnosis.

And the one in SoundCloud, Hypnosis for Sleeping Deeply and Let Me Bore You To Sleep. And then the rest are on Spreaker. They're individual podcasts, and there's no adverts, there's nothing like that.

But you have, it just gives you an opportunity to, let's say, for example, you're interested in the Jason Newland, Jason's Bedtime Storytime, or the Deep Sleep Whisper Hypnosis, then all the recordings of those are on there. So you've got Chronic Pain Hypnosis, Deep Sleep Whisper Hypnosis, Jason's Bedtime Storytime, Let Me Boy Your Pain Away, Relaxation for Stress and Panic Attacks, Relax and Sleep Hypnosis Daily, Sleepy Boring Objects, Stop Smoking Hypnosis, Stress and Pain Relief, and Stop Nail Biting.

And the other ones is a page for reviews.

There's a contact page, there's information about the background music. So it's Kevin MacLeod, the background music for the the main recordings on the main podcast is Deep Relaxation by Kevin MacLeod. All the information is on there.

His website is Incompetech.com. So there's a link and there's information about him, including a picture as well. There's on the speaker, it's the speaker's own music. So it's a separate, a separate thing, different music.

Facebook group, there's a link to my Jason Newland's Boring Group. I've got 200 people joined 200 members at the moment. So if you'd like to join, please feel free.

And then as a follow, pay a link where you can just click on it takes you to the different places like where you can. Yeah. I don't know.

I think it needs to be updated, but generally. Sorry, I'm able to play audio at the moment. Right.

And yeah, there should be a link to my. Where's the YouTube? Oh, I was going to say YouTube as well. So there's a link to my YouTube channel.

I haven't had it updated, which will take you there. Basically, YouTube.com at Jason Newland. That's my YouTube channel.

Every time I make a new recording, I upload a 10 hour version onto YouTube. And it's basically a dark screen after 10 seconds. So you can listen at night and not be disrupted by the light of the screen.

If that was such a thing. I think that's it. That's a long introduction.

How long did that take? 17 hours, that introduction took. Wow. So this is.

Monday's sleepy boring objects. Was just sleepy boring objects, but I do them on Mondays. This is a little bit late coming out.

I don't need to. Any of you got to lick yourself right now? What subject? You know what? The other day, I was thinking of a subject that I hadn't mentioned. That I hadn't talked about before.

So I want to try and think of something that's really random from the past. But before that, there is a couple of lovely messages. So I'm going to read them out.

This is on my Jason Newland's Boring Group. I also want to do a shout out to Molly. I hope Molly's okay.

I hope everyone's okay. And I just want to say thank you to. Thank you to Mary as well.

So I'm just looking it up. Sorry, just give me two seconds. Stop asking me.

I'm just trying to find it. It is. There.

Also, I want to say thanks to Mary and Christine. So for PayPal gifts, thank you. If I ever do get any, you know, PayPal gifts, I do try and send a message.

Sometimes it's difficult. I just like it's difficult to the thing doesn't always go through. Right.

So I posted. Yeah, it's a bit I posted my websites back online. But I said some lovely comments.

So I'm just gonna read them out. Christine says glad you made that clear. There's a picture of me and Vinnie and I've labeled them.

That's the new image for my works for my website and for my YouTube channel as well. Picture of me with Vinnie on my lap. That was taken, I think at the end of last year.

Possibly the beginning of this year. I've lost a few calories since then. So I haven't got quite as many chins.

I probably only got about three chins now. So Christine says glad you made that clear because I labeled it. So it's funny.

Ken Gibbs, Ken says what a great photo. Thank you. And maybe it wasn't on this picture.

Mike says I'm glad you put labels on so as not to confuse us who's who. What do you mean? Oh, let's face it. Vinnie's the star.

Andre used to be the star now Vinnie's the star. I think before that it was Milton was the star before Andre he was my goldfish. Right, okay.

So I think it's on the what year were you born? A really lovely comment and I just can't. Nope, can't find it. Why can't I find it? Oh, yeah.

It's only a short message, but it's lovely. Thank you. Bobby, Jason, your podcast is a real lifesaver.

Thank you. Oh, that's just lovely. Andrea says Boston chickie.

So I've got to keep calling you Boston chickie. He has the voice that can sail a thousand ships. He puts his heart and soul into these and it shows.

Thank you. I do appreciate that. I put I like to think I put a fair bit of effort into what I do.

I mean, I spent so I agree. Thank you. And I spent all day yesterday working on my website.

So it was there wasn't a huge amount to do to be honest. But there's still, you know, it's still quite a bit. But my plan, here's my plan.

The next year, like from, you know, 2025, I'm not going to really spend any time working on the website. I'm just going to leave the website as it is. I say that now, but that's my plan.

Try and release, create, record, at least one recording per day. Now I have got more. I don't know what the right word is.

Is it busy or I can be quite prolific at times. And there's been times when I've released four in a day. But that, yeah, those are special occasions.

And I don't know how many recordings I did this year so far. I'm going to work out. Yeah, I can work out.

Yeah, I have to go to Spreaker for that. So I'd have to work out how many. If I can probably do it now, roughly.

Spreaker, how many Let Me Bore You To Sleep, Spreaker. It will literally take about two seconds, actually, because all I'll do, if I go to Spreaker. Admittedly, that's only up to the 19th of November, but that's the Let Me Bore You To Sleep podcast, but I don't use that podcast.

I use the one on SoundCloud. So if I search January 2024. So yeah, I've got that 19th, 17th, 3rd, 3rd, 23rd of March.

So I've got the 3rd of January. I've got the 1st of January. I'll tell you what I'll do, I'm going to scroll down.

It'll take a little while, but it's fine. It won't take like huge amounts of time. And I can, because I number each recording, I'll have an idea where I was, how many I've done.

I've probably not done as many as I thought. But I have also recorded others. It's not only the Let Me Bore You To Sleep, I've done some other stuff as well.

So according to this, did I not find the 3rd of January? And now I've gone down. According to this, the first recording I've got is the 16th of January. That's strange.

That doesn't even make sense, does it? Right, let me write this down. 1063, which is the 16th of January, 2024. I'm going to go back, see what that, unless it was 2023, the 3rd of January.

So January 2024. So let me have a look. 17th.

Oh no, blimey, it's the 3rd of January 2022. Are you? Oh, I was going to say, how come I waited till the 16th of January? But I just remembered, I can't say the word, but I just remembered why. Blimey.

So yeah, I wasn't hugely active for a while. So I'm trying to think. Oh, stop it, what am I doing? Right, he's probably having a good old clean.

Can you hear him? Oh, where is it? Where is it? Is there anyone there? Right. So 16th of January. 18th of... That's weird.

That's very strange. I think they're possibly a bit out of order. A little bit.

It doesn't really matter. It's not even that important. I don't know why I'm looking.

Just, I'm mildly interested. The thing is, when I, when something catches my attention, I kind of want to go with it. I want to just like, okay, let's find out.

Okay, so it's 1063 was the 16th of January. The one before that would have been the 23rd of December. Then the 12th of December, 8th of December, 30th of November.

Well, that's kind of weird. It's kind of weird. The reason why it's weird is... Oh no, 153, 154, 155.

No, I did do some in December. So 153, 27th of October. So 1053, so let's say 1054, 1054, that was 21st of November.

It's been too long. So 53, yeah, so 27th of October. And then 21st of November, which is weird.

Why did that go so long? I think it might have been, I might listen to that recording to find out what was going on. I think maybe it'd been a, nothing had happened at that point as far as, well, stuff had happened, but not, my friend was still around until the 21st of November. 24th of November.

So 255, then I did something on the 29th, called it Friends. And I think I spelled Friends incorrectly. Friends, F-R-E-I-N-D-S.

I thought it was I-E-N-D-S. It doesn't look right. Friends, Friends.

So I spelled Friends in the wrong, the wrong way. And no one pulled me up. No one said, oi, I spelled it E-I-N-D-S.

As I-E-N-D-S. Even I know that, wow. How did I, how did that go through without me not, oh well, I'll leave it as it is.

So that was 29th of November, 1055, 1066, 30th of November, 3rd of December. So I kind of started getting back to doing it again a little bit. 3rd of December, 1057, 1058, 1058, 1059, 1060.

So I was still making recordings in December, last year. Two, three, okay, right, so there's a big difference. 1062, 1062, 1061, 1061, the 12th of December.

1062 was the 23rd of December. 1063, 16th of January. So yeah, there was definitely gaps.

Right, so what I'm going to do is have a look at the numbers. So I, I, I, I, so far I'm up to, this would be 1247. So Sunday's recording was 1246.

So I'm going to use a calculator, I don't care. You should be able to do it in your head. I can do it in my head.

I'm imagining using a calculator in my head. So take away 1063. I did 183, let me bore you to sleeps, last year.

Out of 365 days, so, yeah, it's all right. I suppose maybe it's about average, couple of hundred a year, 246, 810, 1240. Yeah, I suppose I've been doing it seven years.

Nearly, so yeah, it's really about average. However, I would say since, since the summer, I've probably done a lot more. I've been a bit more regular, I would say.

I just, so, so what are we, what are we now, November? No, blimey, it's December now, isn't it? December, so I'm going to say from, from the summer, I think I started to become a little bit more buzzy. Bussy, bussy, busy, bussy, bus-eye, let's have a look. So when does summer start? Should we say May, 1st of May? So 1st of May, I just got these, these cards, pieces of cards to write on, I just thought might as well use them up.

11th, 1st of May, 1st of May last, this, this year over, is 1109. And what are we at? 1246, 1246, 1109, so let's have a look. 1246, takeaway, 1109.

So I've done 137, since May. So what's that, May, June, July, August, September, October, November. So that is literally six months.

May, June, July, August, September, October, November, it's nine. So if I go from April, May, June, if I go from June, so let's have a look. June, June, April, April, May, June, May, June, so if I go from June, until the end of November, that'll give me a much better example.

So get rid of that. I've managed to use three pieces of card now, that's good. Save the environment.

1137, 1137, 1st of June, 1246. There's a point to this, I don't know what it is, but there must be a point. 1246, takeaway, 1137, 109.

Yeah, there's literally, I mean, my theory is that based on the busy months, I would have done a lot more in a year if I hadn't had those breaks. The fact is, I'd have done 218 instead of 183. And the year's not even over yet.

So there's still, what is it, 28 days or 27 days or whatever left of the year. So the 183 will be probably about 118. So yeah, by the end of the year, if you add on another 25, so what's that? I think I just banged the microphone, sorry.

25, so 183 plus 25, so that's, wait a minute, what is it now, 25, how many days in the month? How many days in this month? It's 31. So if we include today, so it's 183 up to 21,246. What do you mean this is boring? It's supposed to be boring.

1, 2, 4, okay, right, this would be 1, 2, 4, 7. So 1, 2, 1, 2, 4, 6 plus 30, plus 30. 1, no, 183 plus 30, sorry, 183 plus 30. So 3 plus 0 is 9, and 8 plus 3 is 2, passing over a decimal of 6, which comes to 6,209.

It's not bad for a year, is it? Still not a lot though. So we're looking at 100, I mean, why was I even trying to add up? 183 plus 30, 93, 103, 13, 213. So 213, if I was to do one every day.

So my goal, this is still the introduction, by the way. My goal is possibly to, next year, 2025, all being well, to make, you know, roughly 365 Let Me Boy To Sleeps, like every day. I just want to, that's a high pitch, isn't it? I just want to find out if I can.

I just want to see if it's possible. Yeah, yeah, that's what I'll do. So my dad's having his medical procedure today.

So I said that I wouldn't call up because they may be in hospital all day long, hanging around and I don't want to kind of add to the pressure that my stepmum's going through, you know. So I just, yeah, so I'm just gonna, I'm gonna leave it and maybe send a text this evening or late this afternoon and just check that everything's okay. And I'll give him a call tomorrow.

So I imagine he's gonna be a little bit groggy for the rest of the day and then he'll sort of be back to normal tomorrow as far as, because he's having an anesthetic. And I'll give him a call tomorrow, see if he's all right, see how he is. I was thinking of trying to go up and seeing him, but it's just, I can't leave this little one on his own for too long.

Mind you, after last night, it was proper loud music last night. Admittedly, it didn't go on for long. It wasn't late, but I decided to have an early night and the neighbors decided against it.

So I was trying to listen to this audio book and admittedly, it wasn't the right audio book to go to sleep to because it was about BPD, Borderline Personality Disorder. So it was, what was it called? It's quite a famous book, I think in that it's called, it's by Gerald J. Something, I didn't even start with it. I Hate You, Don't Leave Me, that's what it's called.

I don't know why it's not allowing me, why won't it let me actually look, I want to click on it and get the rest of the details. Does it give me, oh, title details, got it. Understanding the Borderline Personality, 10 hours, 32 minutes audio book and it's by Gerald J. Christman and Hal Strauss, narrated by Kevin R. Kevin R. Free.

So I was listening to that and it's basically in the UK, it's called Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder, so EUPD, which is what I've kind of got. So I'm just trying to sort of learn a bit more about it. And yeah, it's not something I should have listened to while I was trying to go to sleep.

So I changed it over, I thought I'd need to, I need to listen to something a little bit lighter. So I listened to American Psycho. I didn't, what did I listen to in the end? What did I listen to? I think either Philosophy for Dummies or Tools of Titans or Drive.

Now, for some reason, I don't know what that one's about. What is Drive? Daniel H. Pink. The Secret to High Performance and Satisfaction in Today's World.

So yeah, I've listened to that as well. I get through quite a few books in a week. Of course, listening to me is much better.

You know what? Actually, actually, I think someone asked me in the Q&A Friday, do I ever listen to my recordings? I'm sure that was one of the questions. We've got another Q&A Friday coming up this Friday. So there will be questions, the unanswered questions.

Maybe I might also put a link on the on my website, specifically for Q&A Friday as well. But, you know, if you want to, I was just, I don't know, we'll see. So I did have that question.

I'm sure I did. Do I ever listen to my own recordings, which is generally no. But occasionally, yes.

And whenever I do, I fall asleep every single time. And that's me talking. It's not me, obviously, I don't mean it's me talking now.

Of course, it's me talking now, but it's me listening to myself. Which is also obvious, isn't it? Because I was just saying that, and I'm trying to say it's just like for me, it seems a little bit surprising that I would be able to send myself to sleep. That's what I mean.

But send to sleep, I do. And I do feel more relaxed afterwards. You know, I might only be listening for a couple of hours, but I do feel better afterwards.

For some reason. Yeah, so I was going to do sleepy boring objects. I just had another message on here.

I don't know. So I haven't got stats on my website. I've got no idea how many people are visiting.

But it doesn't really matter. It's just the case of having it there. It just means it's always available.

To because literally now a podcast, my website is a podcast in itself. Which means you can, I don't know if you can add it as a podcast to where you listen. I'm not sure.

I'm not sure. But you might be able to. So there was a really boring subject that I was gonna, well, a subject that I realized the other day that I've never talked about.

And I decided, oh, I'm gonna, I'm gonna talk about that in my boring objects recording. But I never, I can't remember what it is. I don't remember what it is.

It was something just let me have a list. Just listen stuff that I don't think I've talked about in the past. Because I've talked about a few things.

I want to say things I haven't talked about. I mean, in the actual sleepy boring objects. Recordings, because there's quite a few of those.

I think there's 40. Is it 40? I'm never gonna see you cry. Right, Spreaker.

Let's have a look. Let me have a look. There are.

Okay, 44. 45. 46, there's 46 boring object recordings.

I got no idea what I talked about. In the last one, I didn't even have a like a name for what I wrote. I don't know.

I don't know what the topic was. But it's been 46. I don't know what it's got.

Something that kind of clicked in my head. And I thought, what not not only have I not talked about it with in the sleepy boring objects podcasts, but never, I don't think I ever even broached that topic. In the whole time I've been making these podcasts.

And I don't even just mean the seven years of doing the Let Me Bore You To Sleep. I mean, like since 2006. But I can't remember what it is, which is probably explains why I don't talk about it because it's not in my brain.

That's a good boy. Make a little bit more noise, please. Thanks.

I took him into the pet shop, like the sweet shop that we're going to call it a sweet shop. And I get him a treat. I get him two treats, actually a little bone in the tree.

And you know what? The lady said, I know what you want. She comes around. And he's getting all excited that he's going to get a treat.

She hands him a treat. And he sniffs it and like turns his nose up. I mean, it's not like she wasn't.

She didn't just fire him, you know, she didn't like bend over, did a big fight in his face and run off and he was annoyed. It was actually a treat that he liked. That he normally has that he normally tucks into.

But nope, not on this occasion. No, thanks. Don't want that.

So she got another tree out and he ate that one. Then he waited for more. She came another one of those ones.

And then he waited for more. And this time he ate the ones that he originally gave him. Because you'd run out of the ones that she was giving him.

And so the one that he turned up his nose at, like he had that. And I said, what are you doing? He said, I just had to cleanse my palate. The other one just didn't taste right.

But once I'd had the first ones, I kind of just gave him my normal taste buds back. And yeah, it's an acquired taste. It's like your sense of humor, daddy, an acquired taste.

He's very rude sometimes. And what was that thing I'm trying to think about? Oh, I need to give this. Oh, yesterday I had the window people come around.

So I had three. Well, actually, it ended up being two. I thought I had three broken windows, but it was two broken windows.

One was just very stiff. And one was hanging off in the kitchen. And the other, the bathroom wouldn't close.

And I reported it to the council last week, probably about Wednesday time. Maybe Thursday, maybe Tuesday. I'm not 100% sure, but it was last week.

And I got a phone call yesterday. And they said there's a black man on a voice, man on a voice, man with a voice. I guess he's making a phone call.

He said, oh, it's whatever from the council come to see about doing your windows. I said, OK, cool. And I just realized, just realized as I start telling this story, I mean, it's really boring.

I know it's supposed to be. But as I was telling it, I was in my mind thinking I was I was describing a really kind of almost interesting scenario. Yet the reality is not.

Oh, well. So he found out, said I'm going to come around. Now, I had a food delivery coming, grocery delivery, which I was waiting around for.

I thought that the. Window fixer was going to be here later because he did say I'll be I'll wait until a certain time and I'll come around. But he did, in fact, get around earlier.

So he came in, did the windows. Vinnie would not stop barking. He got super excited.

Now, I don't have many visitors into this flat. I mean, really quite rare that I have anyone really in here. And Vinnie knows those people well.

So he gets excited, but it's not. It doesn't get excited. It doesn't make like a huge amount of noise.

Once they're in. But he was making a lot of noise. Every time I opened the door, he was trying to get in and be with the man.

And I was thinking, well, because he was on this stool thing. Leaning over the window, I don't I didn't want Vinnie to dislodge him. I mean, not that he's probably heavy enough to do that, but still, I just didn't want to.

I mean, if you fell out the window, he sneezed. That's that's not on me, is it? Also, I wouldn't want that to happen. But if it's because Vinnie bit his leg or his ankle, then that would be.

Not too good. Neither scenario would be good. Yep, I used the word scenario twice in this recording.

I don't normally use the word scenario. It's not. I guess it just seems to be the correct scenario to do so.

It's not one of those words that is is regularly exported out of my little. Blank. Carcass of a brain.

It's you know, it's occasionally I use words. Sometimes I use words, normally it's just sounds. Sometimes I use words, I put words together to try and maybe.

Mildly create some kind of sentence structure. Some kind of linguistic sandwich. Now, I when the delivery came around, I ordered quite a fair bit of stuff.

So I went down and helped them. And I can honestly, there's this this lady. I don't know if the man with her was her husband, but he was sort of stalling through the car.

And she was delivering the stuff. She's got to be one of the strongest people I've ever seen in my life. She carried, I think, four bags in each hand.

And I said, I'll come and give you a hand. She said, well, a bit late now, mate, innit? Look, I already carried them all there. Why didn't you come down when I was here? I'll give you.

That's what I heard. No, she didn't. She said, I went down.

I helped. I basically, they piled all the water. So I get bottled water.

Piled the waters. And there was eight, 16, 32 bottles plus 24 toilet rolls or something. And I piled them on me and I made my way upstairs.

Couldn't see where I was going. But I knew where I was going. You know, I knew where I was going.

I'm not saying that I could do the journey blindfolded, but provided I was careful, I could. Once I'm in the building, once I get my hands on top of the railings, I know my way into my flat. Because I just, there's literally, there's dents in the floor from my feet, from all the walking I do.

Now, Vinnie has actually, he's made marks in the side of the staircase. He's worn it down a little bit. He's really, honestly, there's like marks on there that won't come off now when the cleaners come.

He's been up and down three, four, five times a day for nearly two years. He's made it. You've made your mark, haven't you Vin? Yes, you have.

I still can't think of a subject. I think I might have had this issue last week, which is why I didn't have a subject. And if I remember correctly, I was tired last week.

Last Monday, I was a little bit tired when I was doing the recording. And I don't know why I have this memory of that. It's a lovely day.

Today, cold, cloudy now, but bright blue, bright, bright day. I've only been out once. But yes, it's a nice day today.

So that's good. Oh, yes, the delivery, I took ages to pack away. And I thought I bought some, I thought I ordered some tea bags.

But I didn't. Do you know when you remember ordering something, but you didn't order it? Do you ever have that? I'm looking, I'm looking around, I'm thinking, all the bags laid out and I'm thinking, where's the elephant? It's very strange. But it's definitely enough stuff.

I'm going to try over the coming weeks, I'm going to try to start cooking food for myself, because I've been living on breakfast cereal a lot of the time. Just, you know, part of my reducing weight and stuff. And the problem with that is, because I'm also doing weights every day, a few times a day.

I don't, I don't really have the energy to do much exercise. I just think that I need to start eating and give myself a few, a bit, you know, a bit more of a healthy diet. And so they just thought eating once a day and the rest of the day is cereal.

So I'm going to, I've got some food, I'm going to be eating, making some meals from today onwards, like a cooked meal. So in case, instead of eating the sandwiches and stuff, I'm going to have a cooked meal at least once a day, and maybe start to have one meal, which is like egg on toast. Yeah, I'll be not boiled, not fried, not hard boiled, not omeletted and poached, that's it.

So I think probably a poached, poached egg on toast. So that'd be one of my meals. But then I'll have to have like, you know, whole grain bread, or something, maybe even go for something that is, that doesn't have any glucose.

Is it glucose? What's the thing that's, I don't know, but we'll see. And no butter, no butter. Although I have now got margarine, I think it's clover, low, low calorie for sandwiches when I have them.

Because I went months, I didn't have any bread, didn't have any, really, that's the occasional bit of bread. But I didn't have any margarine, still haven't had any sugar in anything. But I think now I'm going to try and work at having a bit more healthy food.

And also a bit more of a workout, a bit more physical workout every day. Because at the moment, it's little bits regularly. So I do 100 squats with weights.

And then I do, I don't know, I'm not sure how many, but I do, it's going up all the time. I can now do more than 100, but I've stuck it at 100 for now, because I also mix it with other weight, other exercises as well. Vinnie's bored.

Well, what kind of subjects and whatever could I talk about? Maybe that's what I need. Maybe for future recordings. I need ideas for some subjects that I could talk about.

It could be absolutely anything. I mean, to be fair, if it's something that I know nothing about, and I say, I can't really do that. You may argue that I've spent the last seven years talking about stuff that I don't know anything about, which is a fair, it's a fair comment.

It's a fair cop. Vinnie's just let one go. Vinnie, whoever smelt it, dealt with it.

No, that's rude. You're literally, you're facing your thing towards me and I smelt it. It was you.

Trying to think what else. Yes, I need some ideas of what to talk about. I mean, Christmas is coming up.

I don't know what else is happening in the next. This is really it, really. I think in this country, other than people's birthdays and other stuff, people got things going on, obviously.

But as a kind of as a nation. I'm trying to think, well, for me, it's kind of Christmas. December is Christmas.

And then it's the new year, the end of the year. And January. It's just cold.

It's a cold month. This is one of those months, January. But it's also starting to get lighter.

And it's crisp. It's like a clear kind of. I don't know how to explain it.

But I quite like the beginning of the year because the new year. New opportunity. I'll just back the microphone again.

Itchy ear. For me. Vinnie.

Vinnie. He's looking at me like I'm going to get you when you finish recording. No, stop it, Vin.

I'm going to have to run. I for me, it's three times a year. It's a new year.

Well, I would say beginning of the year, you know, January the first. And then. Kind of like springtime.

That's almost like the beginning of the year. And it used to be that, didn't it? In the old days. New life, spring, all everything's kind of coming, coming to life.

It's brighter outside. The birds are singing, all that stuff. The crops are growing.

And then. My birthday. It's kind of like it's a new year.

So it's three times a year. The new year starts really for me. What you're doing is I'm stroking and it's just.

He's, you know, the thing that cats do, you know, when they scratch. And what they're doing is that it's like they're kittens. Again, they're trying to get the nipple at their mum's nipple when they're kind of just scratching or patting down rather not scratching, patting down.

He's doing that, which I guess is the same for dogs. They probably do the same thing that they would their mums when they're babies. And he does that on the bed sometimes like he's just patting or.

Digging, but so which would have been a bit painful. So. He's having a good old stretch.

You're having a good old stretch, aren't you? Hey, you're having a good old stretch. You're having a good old stretch. OK, all right.

You might. You OK? You're good, aren't you? He's been a good boy. Hasn't been hasn't barked too much today.

He's been cool, isn't he, Vinnie? Yes, you have. Oh, did I tell you, Vinnie, I saw noodles yesterday. He just stopped and stared at me.

I saw noodles. Blimey, he knows noodles his name. Sorry, Vinnie, I shouldn't.

I saw noodles. Yeah. That's one of his best friends.

Noodles and Archie. They're his two best friends. He hasn't seen Archie for ages.

He hasn't seen Archie for a long time. There's real love there for both of them. Him and him and Archie and noodles.

They just. They love them. But apparently.

Archie's got a new girlfriend, doesn't he? Hey, Archie's got a girlfriend who he's in love with. You could do with a girlfriend, couldn't you? He said he said, no, I've got Archie and noodles. OK, but he does.

He kisses and dances with them, wrestles, loves. But but unfortunately, I can't let him off the lead anymore. Which means he doesn't get to do that, really.

He could do it on the lead. I mean, you know, he can still play around. But the problem with that is he's got a girlfriend.

Leads get tangled. It's such a shame. But the problem is there are people with.

Dogs that don't like other dogs. So if another dog. So if he was to run up to that dog, the dog would not be happy.

It's a shame it can't be like a separate area for those type of dogs and the dogs that are just friendly. Or in general, or maybe just small dogs and big dogs. And I want to say small like him, like little dogs that want to be able to run around somewhere separate because they do need that.

And also large dogs need to run around as well. It's maybe like a nice separate area with a big wall, I don't know. Barbed wire.

I don't know. But it is a shame because he I think that he's happiest is when he's running around the field or the park. But the other day I was in the field, actually, you know, where the trees and they grow stuff.

And I actually thought about letting him off, because no one around, but I didn't. And just as I was leaving the field, a man was coming in with his white dog that wanted to get to Vinnie, growling and barking and stuff. So it was kind of lucky, lucky I didn't have him on, I did have him on the lead.

Plus, in the early days, when I first got him, Vinnie would never bark at another dog. Never barked at a human, never barked at another dog. Very vocal indoors.

But never ever barked at a dog. If it was kind of the complete opposite, in the sense of he would lay on his back and be subservient to everybody. He doesn't do that hardly at all now.

And he does bark at dogs. If it's a dog he doesn't like, or I don't know, I don't know the reason why he's barking. He won't tell me.

But he does proper go into one. And it makes the walk not quite as pleasant as it used to be. He used to be nice because he was the nice dog.

He was so friendly, didn't know what to do. I mean, he's never met a human he didn't like. But he doesn't like all dogs.

He's got his friends. But he's not necessarily a, he doesn't seem too interested in making new friends. He seems to be happy with the ones he's got.

But he loves humans. Honestly, I don't know if there's one person, one human let. Well, there's a couple that he's not been into, that he's kept away from.

So I don't know what he's getting there. Maybe it's a vibe or perhaps they've given a vibe that they don't want him near them. But generally, he just loves people.

He's much, he's a much more of a people person than me. Yes, much more than me. Which is weird because he doesn't seem to.

I think I'm his least favorite, I think. Bless him. He's a little munchkin.

He's your munchkin. Do you want a treat? That's the way to get him up, isn't it? Do you want a treat? Suddenly, he literally, he levitated then. Do you know those images from the cartoons when the, I don't know, the animal and a Disney character and there's a pie on the windowsill and you see a Disney character lifting up and smelling the pie and it's kind of, they're levitating.

That's what he was just like. No, he wasn't. All right, you want to, okay, okay.

I need to get you a treat. But you haven't had your breakfast yet, Vinnie. Are you going to have your breakfast? Blimey.

The pigeon nearly flew into the window. Do you want a treat? Let me know if you want a treat. You have to make a weird noise.

Make a weird noise for daddy. This chair is a bit squeaky. Gives me the old, reminds me of the old squeaky chair.

What? What? I had an old squeaky chair years ago, didn't I, Blake? What? What? What? What? What is it? What is it, Vin? Do you want a treat? Do you want a treat? You don't want a treat, do you? Does Vinnie want treat treats? Anyway, I'm going to go. Thank you for listening. Remember to be kind to yourself.

Be gentle with yourself because you do deserve to be happy. Lots of love. Bye.
