Hello and welcome to Let Me Bore You To Sleep. My name is Jason Newland. Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes.

So I have to say a quick thank you to the following people that have sent me Paypal gifts. Alison, thank you Alison. Thank you Hilary and thank you Nancy.

I'll send you personal messages but thank you very much. And what am I grateful for today? I'm grateful for being able to get myself to get some groceries. I got some the other day but it was like a small amount but I've got enough groceries to last me for a little while.

So yeah it was nice to be able to get some food in and you know what's happened now? His lead's only gone and broken. Now the lead broke but it was it just it wouldn't lock automatically lock. There's one of those that's got seven meters of lead on it.

So it used to be able to lock it and just leave it and not touch it but now have to press it have to press it down to lock it. It's been like that for a couple of weeks. Well last night it was in the garden or maybe it was today it was in the garden and the whole thing just went floppy.

It was it was an it was um I call it the the reverse Viagra effect. It just went everything went floppy just got and it broke. It was no pullback.

You know I don't know quite how it is if it's a spring or whatever it's inside but it just stopped working. So I've got all the lead wrapped around the handle at the moment. This is silly.

Oh man but it's all right I could take him. I just have to. The weird thing about it is I had loads of like bits of lead from downstairs in December in the November December and I chucked them all away because it's a bit it's all frayed and old and everything but that would have done me for now.

Just this just a short lead will be that's all I need. By the way a lead is a leash because you might call it a leash where you are. So I have to sort that out.

There's been a lot of noise today. A lot but not noise but weird sounds. It's screeching and don't quite know what it's all about.

I don't know what's I can't really tell where it's coming from. I'm whispering I don't know why I'm whispering. I don't know where it's coming from.

It's some very strange sounds. I posted a video on YouTube and I shared it on my Facebook page. Oh by the way if you're not a member of my Facebook page please join.

It's groovy. It's really really groovy. It's the best Facebook page I've ever had.

It's a group rather Facebook group. It's called Jason Newland's Boring Group and yeah I also did a Q&A question Q&A Friday yesterday and that was Q&A Friday number 16. Blimey so that's four eight nine twelve that's four months now four months and then I posted earlier the video from YouTube which is just Vinnie enjoys a bone.

It's only a short video but it's cute. As soon as I put the camera a little bit closer to him he stopped with a bone and he came towards the camera. I have to be careful because you start licking the lens.

So yeah that's there. I'm really tired. This heat it does make me tired.

It does. It drains me a little bit. I don't mind.

I'm not bothered but it just I mean what's it six minutes past eight. So I'll be going to bed about 10 o'clock anyway but it's just kind of weird. Just this I'm noticing it a bit.

It's only been the last couple of days really that it's been warm and I had to close the window. Oh god blimey. It's lucky this isn't some kind of motivational recording isn't it.

So I was like you know I'm yawning all the way through it. At least it's a boring sleepy recording so me yawning isn't too bad I imagine. Although I've had a few people in the past moan don't like it when you yawn.

Someone even complained. It's a lot this years ago but I don't like it when you drink water. I'm sorry.

Sorry if I need to keep alive. You know water is necessary. What's next? Stop breathing? It's just I don't know.

I think there's some people like to moan. I know I do. I love moaning.

It's my favorite thing in the whole wide world and now the computer's frozen. Why is it frozen? Okay it's now working again. So there is boxing on tonight but I'm unable to watch that so I'm not too bothered actually.

I find it kind of difficult to stay up too late because I'm so used to going to bed. Sometimes nine o'clock sometimes ten o'clock rarely after ten in the evening. So when I'm watching something on telly and it's live like the boxing and it goes on till half eleven or twelve.

It's hard. This is hard. I've really struggled to keep my eyes open genuinely.

I'm a bit a bit like that right now. So what's new? What's new? What is new? I can't think of what's new. Nothing.

Nothing's happened really since yesterday. Has anything happened? I've got an itchy chin. You know when I was a kid there was a thing that we used to do when we thought someone was lying we would scratch our chin and go oh like an itchy chin yeah.

Sometimes you're like oh itchy chin itchy chin. Sometimes we'll hold our fingers a little bit away from my chin and go oh itchy itchy and which sounds a weird thing to do but all because of a sports newscaster like a sports presenter called Jimmy Hill. Now sometimes we'd actually say oh Jimmy Hill oh Jimmy Jimmy Jimmy Jimmy and scratch your scratch your chin or Jimmy Hill Jimmy Hill Jimmy Hill like that.

It's very weird. Now the part the reason for it is Jimmy Hill was he had a beard and then when he shaved his beard off everyone realized that his his chin he had quite a prominent chin so it's not nothing wrong with that blimey but he yeah he's definitely he's a very popular sports presenter but the he covered the chin up with a beard so no one realized that it was his well actually when he shaved the beard off the chin was actually bigger than the beard which is weird and I've I didn't

really know who he I knew who he was but I didn't really watch sport and stuff when I was a kid not like the commentators yeah I did watch sport when it was on tv because it was on that's the only reason I can't say I can't say I was ever really that excited about Wimbledon or or the snooker or the football or the rugby or any of that stuff but if it was on I'd watch it you know in a house with one television there wasn't really much choice but

to watch it or not to watch it so my oldest brother was sport mad absolutely loved sport football was the main one but I think he just loved sport really and I don't know who I don't know who in the family loved tennis but someone did because always had Wimbledon on not in the winter but you know during Wimbledon when it was being televised I just remember those days McEnroe, Jimmy Connors, Navarretta Lova, Netareva Lova,

Navarretta Lova I think yeah and there was Sebastian Bjorn Borg who was classed as the best player in the world ever but probably not classed that anymore I wonder who's classes I know I know who the top three are because they're the current recent ones but top 10 male tennis players ever so this is what they're saying top tennis players top 10 male tennis players of all time the reason I'm going tennis players because I think the top player of all time is actually female it's what's her name who's won

more than anyone else has ever won one of the sisters the twins and the top 10 male players there's an advert come up saying ready to add 5 to 10 miles per hour to your serve no how do I get rid of it I don't want that oh yeah it's a thing number one Raphael Nadal so they're classed and him is the best ever Roger Federer at number two I remember there's a time when he was number one Novak the Djokovic so he's number three so I knew that there'd be

number one number two number three but do you think that's always been the way do you reckon for some reason people I don't think it can be based on how well they've how many tournaments that they've won I know you could like well like yeah that is how it's based but it doesn't mean that they're better than Bjorn Bjorg it's just he he he didn't play for as long what about Becker Bjorn Becker and there was a few wasn't there that were like really young and they kept coming along and winning at 16 or 17.

Rod Lever we may have gone with the three modern greats but our top three positions we couldn't part Peter Sampras yeah what about Peter Sampras he's number five Bjorn Bjorn Bjorg is number six where's McEnroe is McEnroe anywhere Ivan Lendl do you remember Ivan Lendl Andre Agassi number eight ah I mean I remember Jimmy Connors because Jimmy Connors used to go oh whenever he did a what's it um is it a pass or whatever they call it no hit a ball John McEnroe you cannot be serious I mean he he

was just so famous so I think I think there is a player more recently that's been a little bit like John McEnroe as far as argumentative but anyone around in them days like that was old enough to remember John McEnroe playing when he you know in the early 80s you compare his fame to the people to the tennis players now not not not comparing how good they are or how well they've done or how rich they are or anything like that but remember how famous he was it's like a superstar

wasn't he absolute superstar it transcended tennis none of the other tennis players I don't think have reached that not the male ones anyway when they're superstars in their own right but John McEnroe was he was more famous off the tennis court than on back me up ladies and gents some of the people now the youngest the youngsters you know the 35 year olds would be like you don't know what you're talking about no I do well I might not but I kind of do I think I do I'm semi making

it up but then if you look at the female top female players top females Serene Williams Serena Williams is the most I mean 23 grand slams let's go all the way back to let's go back to Raphael Raphael we go back to the why is he not saying how many he's got isn't that interesting so tell you why they're not mentioning how many grand slams them to have got because they or even Novak Djokovic so tell you why because Serena Williams is out out eclipsed them all she's more successful than

any of any male player that has been she is when she's winning when she wins wins a game I sometimes wonder if that's some is she lets out a fart because it looks it looks like I mean I can't imagine making that kind of physical expression about farting because it's an opportunity isn't it because no one's going to know you're not going to hear it because you're yelling oh brilliant I've won and you let out a nice little fart at the same time hmm just maybe no one else has wondered

Steffi Graf did you know that Andre Agassi is married to Steffi Graf did you know that did you did you really though come on did you I just want to make sure it's correct Steffi Graf Steffi Graf I wonder how old is she is now probably in her 50s I imagine she might not be though you know she might be younger she might be younger than me which is just don't know why that'd be weird no she is 55 I thought she was older than me but I knew there wasn't

a lot in it now that annoys me she was born in 1969 one year before me and she's 55 she should be 54 because I'm only 53 and I was born in 1970 and that winds me up and doesn't say about her marriage I know it's not relevant I guess they're just focusing on tennis but come on where's the goss oh we don't want some goss come on Graf give us a goss Graf Grafie Graf Graf Grafie Graf Graf Summit they're just talking about tennis there's more play in style equipment

indoors personal life okay here we go she no you're not mentioning it oh here we go here we go here we go go go from 92 to 99 Graf dated racing driver Michael Bartels oh Mikey oh Mikey I haven't seen him in ages what if he's uh what if he's still eating the porridge because I get basically he he was had this whole thing going on like oh back then it was a racing car drive it wasn't going so well for him and I said why don't you try eating porridge

in the morning put it in the microwave and then just put sprinkle some milk over the top of it and cold milk and some dates or stuff like that and that would just really it'll set you up for the day and after that there's no stopping him um he did he thanked me by uh calling me up and saying thank you so she started dating Andre Agassi after the 99 French Open they married 2001 he married for ages they've got two children uh they're not pushing their children towards becoming tennis

players it's gonna be difficult though isn't it for them to to I don't know for their for their kids not to know who they are because they're both very famous aren't they they're both famous tennis players or former Wimbledon and US Open and I don't know what the top what is classed as a top tennis tournament in the world good I think each country classes theirs is the top so I think the French class the French Open is the top one I imagine maybe America class the US Open has been

the top one we class Wimbledon as being the top one and because there's lots of different ones isn't there around the world the Canada probably class their their one as being the top one and Iran probably class theirs as a top so it's just it's hard to know isn't it which one is what is classed I want to check this out so what is what is classed which is the top which is the top tennis open come on which is the top tennis open tournament tournament PIP ATF rankings singles no

no tennis tournaments so no it's just telling me when what is the what is the top how many ATP tennis tournaments are there there are 64 in 31 countries but which is the top which is is that a silly question is it there must there must be one like there's a university that's classed as the top in the whole world and there's a university you know I suppose each country has a university which they class is the top university in the country ours would probably be Cambridge or Oxford one of

them too America maybe Harvard you know maybe so I wonder which is the top tournament I don't even know why it's affecting me so much I just want to know you ever want to just want to know something well I want to know which is the top tournament because you know in football well you know football football the world cup is the the top tournament in American football the um the bowl what's it called the national bowl super bowl so super bowl the super bowl is the top tournament in American

football because bearing in mind it's like well no it's football the other is soccer ball I think when everywhere else in the world except America calls calls football football and we call American football American football it's you know it doesn't I don't care too much what you call it so I don't play it or particularly watch it but it's the most popular sport in the world I would say although cricket is possibly up there as well because what's the most popular what's the most popular sport popular sports in the world

in world popular sports in the world blimey what football I knew football would be football American football is number 10 this is in the world so in America I'm guessing it's either well it's either one of three three things it's either American football it's in America the football you know what you call football what they call football basketball or baseball that's it's gotta be that's the only three top sports it's gotta be it's gotta be one of those that would be the top I'm guessing probably football American football secondly I'd

probably say basketball and then baseball I might be wrong it might be badminton ice hockey is very popular as well isn't it but isn't that more in Canada we don't really have ice hockey here we've heard of it football and maybe we do have ice hockey here I'm just not aware of it football maybe I was always kept a secret from me because when I was at school I got banned from hockey because the difference is when you play football or soccer whatever you want to call it football the the

big lads really do have a physical advantage it's just standard thing in it you know physics really so I used to get kicked and I couldn't couldn't do much because you know it was really hard to get close to them because their arms were like twice as long as mine and all that stuff so but with hockey they couldn't really take too many well they couldn't get away of what they wanted to get away with because I also had a stick so what happened is someone hit me in the shins

with a stick and I was chasing down the field with with my stick and I wasn't allowed to play hockey anymore because if you hit me with a stick I'm going to hit you back simple as that it's just seen natural I like that hockey stick but yeah I don't imagine I'd be allowed to play ice hockey I wouldn't be able to keep on my feet anyway ice why would you why would you look a slippery surface and think I know what I'll do let's slide around on that and push

a ball around and try and get into a goal what what why why I don't know maybe it's fun it must be fun for those that do it so top sports in the world by fan base number one is football two is basketball wow which means basketball must well no actually because this is the whole world isn't it uh ten I know three is cricket I figured it would be in the top three or in very near the top because of all the different countries and the countries that love cricket are huge populated countries like India,

Bangladesh, Pakistan and you got the whole kind of area of the world love cricket and then you've also got uh New Zealand love cricket Australia love cricket we love cricket here I say we people love it love it and South Africa love cricket the African nations love cricket so it's you know it's hugely popular game never really understood why I've never really understood I mean the amount of taxi drivers that I oh not only that um where is it Caribbean uh places like that love cricket as well so I used

to get into taxis and I'd have the cricket on on the radio I mean to me there'd only be a certain amount of enjoyment I could get from watching it in person I've watched cricket in person and I think they had biscuits on the table you know and I helped myself to biscuits and that was the best part of the day it was a nice day though very calm very relaxed it was like local cricket it was my uncle playing on a Sunday afternoon or Saturday afternoon but the whole like

watching it but watching on television yeah yeah you know I just it doesn't it doesn't do anything for me but listening to cricket listening like on a radio to cricket I just I don't I struggle really to listen to any sport on the radio and to be able to kind of really follow it in a maybe I don't know I just just I have listened to boxing on the radio on occasions where I haven't been able to watch it on TV I've been a few times over the years I've done

that and kind of got a make do but it's not the same as watching it and boxing is an exciting sport I mean physically exciting it's it's action-packed often and I'm not down in cricket it's just I don't personally get get it it's just it's I know people love it I've got a friend who's absolutely obsessed with football any sports really but he loves cricket and yeah hockey so not ice hockey this is hockey so basketball cricket then fourth is hockey normal hockey okay tennis is number five volleyball number six

I mean beach volleyball I can understand table tennis is number seven is that because of China China is it China my Chinese friends listening table tennis is very proper in China I do believe because if you go onto YouTube and watch any of the top tennis players I'm pretty sure all of them well a lot of them are from China so world's best world's best tennis table tennis the weird thing about it is they move so quickly like it's ridiculous like ridiculous like absolutely phenomenal is how how can anyone move

that quick okay well I'm not sure by reading out the names if they're where they're from to be honest but um number one is Wang Chung um that's the top player in the world I'm not sure um number number two is Liang Jingjun and number three in the world is Ma Long number four is Fan Zhendong um and then you've got Lebron Felix number five number six Hugo Calderano seven is a little Lil Kyon Goyon number eight is Lin Yunju number nine is um if I'm pronouncing the names wrong apologies

number nine Harimoto Tomokazu number ten is Patrick Frenziska and then number 11 is Dan Kui 12 is Lin Shidong number 13 is Yang Wanyin and number 15 is Dmitry Ovtojorov number 15 is Togami Shunzuku 16 is Alexis Lebrun number 17 is Marcos Fritas 18 is Darko Djorgic 19 Quadri Aruna 20 is Chou Doshuang and 21 is An Zhixiong um so I don't know where they're from let's have a look so number one Wang Chujin um oh China um number two Liang Jingkun I might be pronouncing it wrong at least I'm

giving a guy uh CHN's is China Ma Long also China number four number three number four Fan Zhendong is also China as well so number one number two number three number four on the list and then seventh on the list is Chine from China ninth on the list is eighth on the list is from I don't know where that's from TPE where's that what does that stand for TPE I don't know um but number nine is from Japan number 12 is from China number 13 is from Korea number 15 is

from Japan so all the like the English ones the highest one we've got is no there isn't any there isn't any in the top 50 I thought I saw an English flag but it's the Australian flag because the Australian flag has also got our flag in it um so the top player is Lum Nicholas and Lu Fin I mean there's definitely I wonder what it is that makes um the in like I say Asian is that the right correct term but for them to be so brilliant at table tennis because

I know a little bit about table tennis I used to play table well I used to have a table tennis table at home and we used to play table tennis at school as well did we I think we did but the only time I really had a good game is when I pushed it against the wall and played myself I played against the wall I still lost but my brothers would never let me win it was a bit rubbish because they were both just much older one was two years older

and he was like a super sports person super sporty my older brother was four years older so he was he was an adult pretty much when I started high school so I couldn't match him in anything physically really but I just wondered I mean if you ever go if you if you've never seen the table tennis whether it's men's or women's no difference it's like it is it looks like it's speeded up it is mind-blowing how quick they are it's phenomenal honestly I don't know there's got to be some kind

of they've got special powers the the the people that um get to the top of their game in table tennis it's just absolutely phenomenal to watch but it's too quick for me I'm no good with quick stuff I'm you know I'm slow I like things to be slow but you know I mean boxing can be quick but I can kind of watch boxing and do my own like commentatory on it as well while I'm watching it and kind of think what they're going to do next and see openings and just

you know I mean I can kind of do that while I'm watching it before I gave him a bone earlier and it's one of those ones that come with like stuff packed in the middle and I got it in my food delivery for him and he loved it but now he's I think oh no there's something else he's doing he's doing something else I ran out of food last night for him dog food and I phoned up the uh I completely forgot about it I was gonna like oh no well

anyway I phoned up my neighbor downstairs I said uh if you can I we've got a couple of packets of um cat food that I can have please and she said she asked it weird because who's it for I said well it's not for me is it there's it's it's for Vinnie he's not a cat I didn't say he was a cat but he loves he has to eat and he loves cat food I don't give him cat food normally but whenever he goes into someone's house that's got a cat

he will help himself he takes a knife and fork with him and everything he just helps himself to the cat food yum yum yum got a little where's a little like serviette thing little napkin but he loves cat food but so in a sense it was a little treat but the cat foods they're just a lot smaller than the dog food so he ended up having all both of the packets so luckily luckily managed to get some food today for him so he's happy he's a happy little fella oh yes

so he's had his food he had his bone had his food now he's now he's playing with another bony thing if you watch the video you can see a pile of part of these bones things it just stacks them all on top of each other keeps them all in one little area just near the desk just like just on the brisk of being underneath the desk and there's about another 15 on top of the desk because if I take them away from him and I give them back he doesn't seem

to want them but if I at least leave them on the floor he'll go eventually he'll go and like choose one to chew on but I can't have like 20 of these things on the floor it's you know I'm trying to gradually gradually trying to make this place a little bit tidier gradually I can't specify the word gradually because I'm not I don't think I'm particularly being successful but I'm giving it a go you know I mean giving it giving it giving it a go 20 30 someone's called me half

past eight I can't answer the phone I'm busy so you know and that might sound weird but I always fancied being good at something like sporty I did I mean even football I didn't like football because the I mean I know I've mentioned it before and I'll probably keep mentioning it I was so little everybody was bigger than me and even those that weren't much taller than they were just bigger you know heavier I was tiny when I went to high school I probably wasn't any bigger than a nine-year-old a

normal nine-year-old when I was supposed when I was 11 I was very late developer I mean I think I started puberty it's Wednesday I think it was so but with football I caught yeah I remember I got a hat trick once but they were all own goals so technically but they didn't tell me that when you switch sides that it's a different goalie you know you're doing when you switch sides in a football match you change sides so you get a halfway thing and then you swip so you're on the

other side so I was getting into the proper goal I thought but it was a proper goal from the first half but it was the wrong goal didn't you notice it was our goalie I said what do you mean our goalie it changes every every week I was always picked last which wasn't good because I mean I'm not being rude here but the kid in a wheelchair got picked before me to play football I'm not even jokingness I mean he never he wasn't even he didn't have to do any sports

he was exempt but they would pick him before me but they would to be fair they're rude to me but they used to call him Stavros honestly after the Daleks so that was rude king of the Daleks Stavros so um I like what I used to do with my friend we used to just spin around until we got dizzy and just fall over like when Wonder Woman we used to do that at our own goal just off the pitch and just fall over and be dizzy and that was it I

didn't um just didn't like football didn't like it never did I don't like football and it didn't play because I was just no good at it and then what else the other thing I told you about the 200 that I thought was 100 meters running and I won but it was a 200 meters I didn't realize so I beat everyone for the 100 meters and then kept on running I was celebrating blowing up balloons stuff like that the high jump I remember like joining because you could at the time it

was this is all getting prepared for the school games day thing sports day and there'd be like probably four weeks preparation and you kind of go to each different thing to choose it'd be long jump high jump javelin discus things like that and I remember I'm queuing up at the long jump and everyone's not the high jump up and everyone's like jumping and I'm really next and a teacher just starts laughing they said and just said move move along it's like what do you mean he said well how are you

how do you think you're gonna get over this how are you gonna get over have you brought a ladder which I thought was inappropriate I mean ironically I did actually have a ladder on me but that's that's for a different thing because I used to be a cat burglar in the evenings never get enough cats and and long jump that was pointless I mean technically I was quite speedy for short distances I was quite speedy and the problem is it's it's a little bit like because I've got such little legs

well I had such little legs I mean I haven't got particularly long legs now but for every even though it seemed like a long way for me it was like half a distance of everyone else with the long jump the discus I mean I threw it with everything I had the longest distance I could and it landed on my foot so that wasn't really any good the javel bless Vinnie uh started barking it's been pretty good actually so I shouldn't moan uh so he hasn't really barked much during this recording

so um yeah I like the idea of being good at sports I mean even the egg and spoon race I don't I'm not sure if I ever won a race ever ever in my life I mean I am quite competitive kind of but I don't know what it is I was I just flicked the microphone by accident um Vinnie's hot are you hot why don't you have a drink baby have a drink calm yourself down his head is hot honestly blimey wonder why his head is so hot the rest of

his body's not his head is I might sprinkle some cold water on his head I know he won't like it but it'll help cool him down I'm not sprinkling I'll just get some from a cold tap and just put it on his head not not pour it on his head just make his the top of his head a little bit wet with cold water that's what I mean he won't he'll like get off me get off me but it might cool him down a little bit I did it last year

didn't I wow you are hot yes you are why I don't know why he doesn't just dip his dip his head in the water Andre used to in the summer because Andre had like water in a big blue bowl thing he used to dip his head in it like to cool himself down sometimes he'd even put his paws in and just just to cool himself down because it was a bit too hot sometimes I feel like I'm repeating myself a little bit here I think I'm repeating myself I think I'm

repeating myself I think the problem was with things like table tennis I needed someone at my same skill level I mean it's good to be with someone that's better it's also good to be with someone that's not as good because you know so you can win some games and you're probably not gonna I guess I wouldn't learn much if I was always playing someone not as good as me or at the same level I might not learn but this chance will both learn at the same time and unfortunately I couldn't

find anyone that was worse than me at playing same as with snooker and Paul I do you know what the one thing about snooker I was quite good at getting snookers well I was good at getting snookers in pool which isn't really a thing you're supposed to do but it happened in a pub in the east end and a bunch of us were just going there after work so I'm on this it is a time when you just put 50 pence down and whoever whoever wins stays on the table whoever

puts the 50 pence down they pay for the next game well my game that I paid for lasted way too long so I kept snookering the bloke that I was playing I didn't mean to and he was getting angry and all his crew like a gang were there like I thought oh but I couldn't help it and he was like and they were laughing at him and I don't think he liked it because his friends were laughing and I just said I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm too good I didn't because

you're not really supposed to snooker in pool I mean you can but the idea is to pot the balls and to do it as quick as possible and then move on to the next game I think snooker even though it's called snooker it's still about potting the balls it's not just about snookering all the time otherwise no one would watch it literally nobody would watch snooker if it was just snookering all the time if that was the goal of the game although it's called that it would no I don't think

anyone would watch it that would be too boring I do find it boring I mean sometimes I've seen games because I've watched a little bit of snooker over the years I've seen games where the game even the referee has just stopped the game and started the games like not ending this gone on too long you just snooker each other and it's it's like um I suppose like checkmate checkmate checkmate checkmate like both being checkmated at the same time I'm hearing some really weird things outside I don't know what the heck

it is anyway I wonder if I've got any messages because someone phoned me no no message just a phone call it might have been a missed a call by accident so um I'm probably gonna have to go because it's a little bit too much noise you might not be able to hear it but it's distracting me a little bit just a just a little bit and just a little bit you know yeah I think a lot of sports weren't really suited for me anything with heights not really interested in you

know like um paragliding um oh I went I went um oh what's it called skiing water skiing I went water skiing once my boss in the chip shop said do you want to go water skiing I said no but I nearly went but you know I guess I just said no I did go and I guess I wanted to be part of something like okay he really wants to spend time with me well we went and it was cold we're talking like probably October evening time and I put a life

jacket on all that stuff it forced my head under the water I mean that's not supposed to and I thought I had it on backwards but it's still like it's not supposed to force your head under the water mind you if it's put on backwards maybe it would do wouldn't it because it forced you to go back on your back oh yeah okay well anyway I didn't like it I got out cried and said no and I came home well I had to wait for him to come home but no

so anything kind of water sports I'm not really into sort of um I mean I did canoeing when I was in the sea cadets did canoeing did boating and stuff like that yachting and not yachting but like on boats and it's all to do with sea cadets it's just part of the thing canoes again I mean the first thing you do when you get in a canoe is a teacher how to roll because you have to learn how to get back up out of the water and that's the it's it's

kind of it's the first thing I don't know if it's the first thing now but it was the first thing then and I didn't like it I didn't like it not really and yeah I didn't really wasn't really and I guess I was so little he'd gone about how little he was trust me you've got no idea I was I just the hole was too big the hole in the top was too big so even though I was trying to like attach the stuff over it and so the water doesn't

get into the canoe and it still was just too big I kept sliding and ended up inside the actual canoe and I thought I'd like disappeared but I wasn't I was just stuck and I thought no no no it's just no so that wasn't really for me hang gliding never done it I don't think I don't think I probably remember that one no never parachuted never really felt the need and then he's just guffed oh oh I squeezed one out I was a silent one as well oh he knows I'm

talking you know I'm talking about you I was leaning on my foot what are you doing it was weird we were in bed earlier and he put his face underneath the pillow underneath my pillow so he's laying on one pillow the other pillow next to mine which is his pillow and he literally put his face underneath my pillow admittedly that wasn't quite as exciting when I said it out loud as what I thought it would be that story oh well even tiddlywinks I wasn't particularly good at that board games never

really that great I was always behind the times even with computer games I just was behind the game I didn't have I didn't play arcade games really there was a little period when I used to like to go and play Tron and the music I remember most is the music that you get when you basically lose because I used to hear that music a lot and chess oh he's panting I need to get him I need to get some water on his head um I don't know chess I never learned

chess I taught myself chess so I did learn it but this is like 2004 because I had a chess set like one of those mechanical ones you know where you play against the machine ones and and then and I think about 2007 or 2006 maybe I used to play chess online for a bit like with people I can't remember how to play it now though checkers that was something I could do checkers to play that and that was snakes and ladders that was that was quite challenging but I could manage

that usually and used to get very angry when I had to slide down the snake I think you snakes and I think you might call it something different if you live in a different country we call them snakes and ladders I don't know shoots and ladders I think it might be or snakes and shoot no yeah shoots and shoots and ladders rather than snakes and ladders um what's that connect four I used to like connect four but there is a way of playing connect four where you pretty much win every

time there's a certain way of doing it I think if you do a certain if you if you there's a few the first two or three moves and then you've won like every time you play it's the same with noughts and crosses if you go first you can win noughts and crosses every single time at least that's what happened to me whenever I played anyone they all everyone seemed to have that formula to be fair it worked either way even if I if I went first they seemed to have a

formula for going second and winning every single time I don't know what the formula was because no one would tell me nobody would tell me nobody he is a bit hot I'm gonna get a I mean I can't really put an ice cube on his head that'd be weird wouldn't it but I'll maybe get some cold water and just I want I want to sprinkle it on his head but just you know I don't know something just to cool him down and chuck him in the sea no I don't live

near the sea although last year it would have been last year yeah I don't know when probably last summer or about that time I was in the fields with one of the neighbors and we had a ball and the neighbor chucked the ball into the pond and he jumped in after it he didn't get the ball but he did get wet and he didn't like it but then Andre did the same thing in the park in town like he hated water he hated being in water didn't like baths nothing like

that didn't like puddles walls walked around them just like Vinnie does but on this one occasion he just jumped into the duck pond just jumped in no reason I didn't he wasn't didn't push him in he didn't slip he just jumped in and had a swim so you know maybe he was just too hot he needed to cool down maybe he thought there'd be fish in there I don't know who knows what ferrets think he didn't always confide in me so I hope you've enjoyed this this hasn't been boring has

it do you think this has been boring I think this has quite been quite an exciting recording and I've talked about table tennis cricket um right anyway I'm gonna go thanks for listening remember to be kind to yourself you deserve to be happy be gentle with yourself lots of love bye
