So today, today, today, today, I just want to say thank you to everyone that gave me questions to answer for my Friday Q&A last week. So it's now Tuesday, the 23rd of April 2024. And yeah, thank you.

So I, I'm going to do another one this Friday. I can't believe it's only three days away. That's ridiculous.

Anyway, I'll do another one. So I'll still I will do one of these just a normal one today, tomorrow and Thursday. And then Friday, I'll do another Q&A Friday Q&A.

So you can ask me a question. But the only way to ask me questions is via my Facebook group. It's a private Facebook group.

Let's click on that one. How many are there? There is 12123456710 1112 1314 1516 1718 1920. There's 22 bulk downloads.

22 blimey. So you've got because of the size of the files, because I can only send up to five, the bulk downloads can only be up to five gigabytes per file. So I couldn't always fit the same amount on each one because some recordings are longer than others.

So I've got one to 50 51 to 100. So try to do 5050 at a time 101 to 150 151 to 200 201 to 250 251 to 300 301 to 350 351 to 400 401 to 450 451 to 500 501 to 550 551 to 600 601 to 625 626 to 650. That's when the situations where the files are too big.

651 to 700 701 to 750 751 to 800 801 to 850 851 to 900 901 to 950 951 to 1000 and then 1001 to 1050. So all of those downloads are available free. So if you want you can download and you got for most of them 50 different recordings.

Now some of them there'll be recordings missing so I did lose a few last year. I think I lost about don't know how many about 20 recordings overall throughout the whole lot. I think maybe maybe a more maybe a bit less but roughly most of them will be there out of the 1050.

Now I just I will update this because I just reached the 1000 and 1100 I think was the last recording I did. So I can update that and add another 50 potentially. I don't know because I've done a few a couple of long ones recently so maybe not.

So yeah there you go so that's it. It might be 1051 to 1075 and then 1076 to 1100 that might be it but it's there. So it's just it's just something I thought would be quite cool.

There's also a link to the Facebook group on my website jasonnewland.com and I've got 160 members. However however there are a lot of people that can that are currently that I sent but people that could join and there's there's quite a few people that are not actually members but they can view the group if that makes sense. This list includes people so new to the group this list this list includes people who have joined the group as well as people who are previewing the group.

Anyone who's been invited and approved can preview the content in the group. So there's probably a few hundred people previewing the group. How would I know I don't know what's been going on well the weekend I watched boxing for early hours in the morning Sunday morning and it was Devon against Ryan Garcia and it was a very eventful a very eventful yes I I wouldn't have bet money but I would have I would never have bet against Devon Haney not one not for one second and he got knocked down three times more than three times but he got knocked down one of them was classed as a slip when it wasn't but he

got knocked down three times and Ryan Garcia won on points so it's still in the distance and yeah it was yeah this is a good good one good one yeah so I won't bore you with that because I know that I'm not sure how many people are interested in that stuff but wow when has it ever stopped me when is it the idea that other people won't be interested when has that ever stopped me talking about it never why would it stop me now he shouldn't you're right he shouldn't um

what else have I done yesterday all my troubles seem so far away I was listening to Beyonce's new album and she did a she's done a few covers on there did a Beatles cover she did a Dolly Parton cover but she changed the words for that one um instead of I'm begging of you please don't take my man it is I'm warning you I'll shoot you up if you look at my man or whatever um you know it's updated apparently apparently there is this thing about yeah some woman in the

past with her husband I don't know I don't really follow the uh lies of the rich and famous but uh yes this is a it's a good album actually I quite like it it's not hasn't caught me yet but some albums catch me they they get me like straighten and get me but they they grab me emotionally straight away um I'd say the Cranberries their album why the one with that's got zombie on it I just loved every song of that um the Smiths the Smiths album I've got when I

yeah I don't I've got any albums now I just listen to them stream them online I mean that's the worst thing if there was ever like a nuclear war would be started like I don't have any dvds and to put in a bunker no videos no no music I just because there won't be any streaming I won't be able to stream Netflix will be gone probably and uh Amazon won't be around it won't be Amazon music or Spotify and I just realized that's probably not not the worst part of a

nuclear war okay that's not the worst part I'm just saying it would be and I move on so um it would be yeah I'm just I don't have a bunker there's no preparation in this country for anything really this this country isn't prepared the people in this country I say the people we're not I'm sure there are some people that are very prepared but you know the closest thing like in America in other countries I think in uh in some countries in Europe they've got a hundred thousands and thousands and

thousands of nuclear bunkers already in case they need them like some some parts of Europe in America there's whole communities of people prepared you know and all for whatever not the happiest subject to talk about on a nice sleepy recording but so I won't talk about that but it's this preparation I'm pretty sure that China I'm a hundred percent sure that Japan is very well prepared because you know they'd be silly not to they'd have to have a lot of stuff prepared in case that happens again to them because they're

the only ones that had it aren't they they know what it's like so um again probably not my sleepy top topic to talk about but you're the most prepared that we got in this country right and this is during the I think during the 60s when there was this uh missile crisis thing going on and the world thought that it was going to be world war three and stuff and you know it's definitely going to be nuclear because that was the new toy of the times wasn't it that's why everyone

was excited about playing with and the English school kids you know they were told like in America like you gotta get into the bunkers uh you know everyone's got to get underground everything's prepared all around the world doing stuff like that in England get under your table you gotta crouch under your table like what that what's that going to do crouching under a wooden table in the classroom how's that going to help like it's just which is weird when you think about it because there was a time when this country

was prepared for certain things but you know during the war and stuff had bunkers but they weren't necessarily great places but then you've got plenty in America people live in hurricane a place where there's a hurricane season why would you live somewhere where there's a hurricane season where like here we've had one hurricane in 100 years or something officially I mean there have been three horrendous winds at times but we don't have whirlwinds generally hurricane season it's like yeah what are you doing next week oh i'm not coming out next

week no hurricane in it yeah it could be a hurricane 600 mile winds probably stay in okay you sure yeah yeah yeah you go out it's fine but what are you planning to do anyway i want to fly the kite and i fly the kite you're blown away mate end up on the moon that's not very realistic is it though i want to end up on the moon though am i no probably not probably not but they got bunkers admittedly i'll admit that my knowledge of okay my knowledge of hurricane

bunkers underground bunkers comes from the wizard of oz so that's that's my knowledge that's kind of where it starts and ends however i know it's true because i saw it in my own eyes you know when dorothy was in that caravan with the old man and he's pretending to which that was a bit weird situation wasn't it coming to my caravan well you want to see the future yeah pretending pretending to be clairvoyant clairvoyant or clairvoyant claire clairvoyant and there's a hurricane and what does he do he starts shutting down

the shutters on his windows and say you should get home mate fair weather friend that is i want it's nice outside yeah come in let's have a chat have a tea as soon as soon as the weather gets bad and hurricane starts no no this is this is where i'm safe you go i don't want to get stuck in here with you go this is my overground bunker bye-bye in fact i reckon he had his own bunker underground he didn't want to share it besides he had to get ready for

had to get back to oz didn't he same oh have i spoilt it oh no i'm sorry for those that haven't seen or didn't realize the wizard of oz is the same bloke that she meets in the caravan it's the same man did you not know and you know her uncles in the field in the farm that's the crow man tin man and the lion cow that's they're the same people and you didn't realize that oh i'm so sorry i'm not here to spoil things i don't want to spoil the

best movie ever made oh i'm sorry i'll i might as well tell you the rest that this is really going to come as a surprise to you do you know the the uh the horrible lady that takes her dog you know right at the beginning of the movie the old lady she comes along well she might not be old to be honest but she's not the most likable human she's definitely got a i would say as a character trait not pleasant perhaps and she takes she comes and she wants toto

and i remember all the characters well i don't remember her name so i don't know all the characters do i well we got um dorothy the little girl but she's not a little girl but she is in the show in the film but she's actually i think she's in her late 40s in that in the actual film and there's toto apparently um she she didn't dorothy judy garland let's just call her dorothy because that's that's a better name she had to be strapped up so that her bosoms like were almost

invisible and it's very unpleasant for her having them i don't think they should have done that it just doesn't seem right they should have just if anything she would have should have worn a bikini no i don't know i mean she was about 20 or something when she made the movie and just why did they want to turn a 20 year old into like a little girl it's weird but i thought that she she was kind of her career because it got cut short but i thought it was usually like

you know late 20s or something when you know when it kind of ended but she no she wasn't she was she was in a good she was in her 50s i think judy garland she i'm not saying that's old but she she was around a long time she was a superstar i've seen her in loads of things and she's 47 in 96 blindly she was she was gone before i was even born and she was in so many different movies she had her own tv show i mean uh the wizard

of oz was was it 19 was it before or after the war let's have a look you can always tell how much stuff how much work um an actor or a singer's done when on their wikipedia page there's no room to show their tv shows or their films they had to actually have a separate page for that her filmography that's how prolific she was well i say prolific but she made a lot of stuff all the way from 1936 was her first movie the last movie she did 19 1963 uh

so but she did start another movie in 1967 valley of the dolls ah okay so it never got finished apparently so valley of the dolls that sounds like i don't know it sounds like a russ meyers movie so when was the wizard of oz the wonderful wizard of oz because because because because because 1939 which meant they must have made it about 1938 just before the uh you know the old w w2 garner was on with an academy juvenile award that was a bit ruder than not her fault so babes

in arms so she was around since 1936 so let's have a look how old was she during the so so she was born in 1872 1922 1922 32 33 34 45 46 47 38 39 30 22 32 32 33 34 45 46 47 48 39 so she was 17 or 18 i want to say 18 but it looks like she was 17 oh i thought she was older just she made a big deal about having to be taped up now i wish i had mentioned it damn it so oh yeah

the old lady on the bike the lady on the bike that that the one that took dog toto she came in and okay i know i'm going off a little bit who loves toto the singer the band absolutely love their songs there's a couple of songs that i absolutely love um um oh uh toto disco for coffee so i'm only interested in singles at this point singles compilation album shut up box set singles these are some of my favorite songs ever i'm talking like ever ever ever ever africa a bit

away from me wouldn't take a minute more would ever be in africa and then you got rosanna i love you i think uh i won't hold you back i'm not sure how that one goes there's others but that was it africa 1982 1982 i don't know why okay it was a special year i don't know if it's because that's when i had my appendix out so top hits of 1982 and for some reason i have a real um it's almost like i love all the songs okay here we go songs

of 1982 i don't know how many of these were big in america and how much are big in the uk well i can i know which ones are big in the uk because i lived it but so abracadabra abracadabra i'm gonna reach out and grab her and so that that was good i didn't want that bow that bothered don't go and i love you please don't go no maybe hungry like a wolf geran geran good song it started with a kiss hot chocolate um so i don't want to dance dance

with your baby oh no eddie grant so that was um um bob marley's son zoom zoom just one look and then my heart went boom suddenly and we were on a moon flying high like a winter sky oh lamb okay fat larry's band so you wouldn't be able to call yourself fat larry's band now that'll be against the rules i think you can't use the word fat anymore although i do because i am a little piece i don't know this is nicole a little piece is that one a little piece

of no no walking on sunshine walking on sunshine yeah the girl is mine michael jackson even horace the pigeon likes that one every night she walks out in my dreams since the minute from the start and then i'm the only one who's special in her heart the girl is do do do do because no good is mine the girl is mine no she's mine the good is mine and the lion sleeps tonight i should mention paul mccartney was in that one not lion sleeps tonight type there do you remember the

lion sleeps tonight anyone but those who don't remember it means you're very young because mind you anyone over it's 1982 so i suppose it is quite a long way away but this was a really camp song and it was always like everyone was wearing skimpy clothes because they were like in the jungle and stuff and it was yeah i've never heard anything like it actually it was a big hit anyway in the jungle the fire jungle the lion sleeps tonight you don't call it a jungle life sleeps tonight that was

that one that was good i have the tiger i have the tiger that was uh rocky and rocky wasn't it uh so you got um some of these i don't know only you yuzu only you hot in the city billy died or okay so the land of make-belief bucks fizz uh because they were huge in 82 hard to say i'm sorry chicago oh what okay uh lana ritchie so some of these are not recognizing truly lana ritchie truly i'm truly in love with you ebony and ivory ebony we all know

give each other what we feel so pasaduchy musical youth eastern aviation the aversion see you know that was one of the first ever albums i ever had i've used the word ever a few times there just to prove the point past the duchi i had the album musical youth and i can't remember the name of the album but i loved it i loved it i think i bought it myself as well so one of the first ones i ever purchased for me goody two shoes adamant which is weird because what

about adamant the ants they couldn't have split up by 1982 surely maybe goody two shoes goody two shoes goody two i don't remember heartbreaker dion warwick was to be a heartbreaker and you got julie oh julie shaken stephens my favorite singer of all time when i was a kid i loved shaky oh julie oh julie if you love me truly do you ever really to be to be my loving arms so that was good and gloria laura brennigan gloria that's that was a great song actually vocally really good i love

that's very brilliant song still great actually i would say um a town called malice the jam there's another great song down in malice uh blue eyes oh john blue eyes baby's got blue eyes see i didn't know that was like he was in the room isn't it um my camera never lies bucks fizz i don't know that one i can't remember do you see this is weird because none of these are the ones i thought i thought best songs of 82 rolling stones so let's have a look at this one

maybe it's got a better list because unless i'm thinking of 81 toto africa see why wasn't toto in that list maybe to maybe the ones i just read out got to number one the others a lot because sometimes the best songs don't get to number one i would drink sometimes they do i want to say the best songs the ones that are still great you know decades later that's what i mean by that uh and i know it's all you know whether something's great it depends on what we like isn't

it so 82 it's got here 1982 rolling stone top 100 songs it's got toto from africa or africa from toto as number one but no number 100 no sorry i mean it should be in the top 100 it should not be number 100 stevie wonder 99 do i do do i do do i do i do yeah and that's 99 um and it's weird because that's a song that's not even i would say if you went into the street in fact if you went to a stevie wonder concert lineup i

mean people queuing to get into a stevie wonder concert and you said name me your top 20 or even you could say your top 100 but say the top 20 stevie wonder songs do i do wouldn't be in that probably depending unless you of course you love it and i'm a stevie wonder fan and if i think if you were to say to to someone name every stevie wonder song you can think of in the next three minutes or two minutes or whatever do i do probably wouldn't come up either

that's my guess uh that's probably not so much to do with it not being a good song because it is a good song that's more to do with his prolificness and his longevity that he had for quite a while that's kind of what longevity is kind of longevity for a short while can you tony bezel mickey hey mickey you're so fine you're so fine you blow my mind hey mickey hey mickey hey mickey what a pity you don't understand you took me by the heart when you took me by the

hand oh man that was great and she was dressed up as a cheerleader and it was so much fun see these are the songs i remember from the early 90s um i'm going to skip down 95 hall and oats man eater she's a man eater now i didn't realize because you know i was a little kid back then i was like 11 in 1982 until the end of august and i was 12 but um a lot of the american other than like the huge stars like you know obviously you michael

jackson and um it's weird i can only think of michael jackson but there was a lot of like huge stars from america that we in the uk would take notice of but there's also a lot of really really big stars that they'd still be in the charts in the uk but they never for some reason didn't get the recognition that i think they should have done and i think hall and oats is one of them they produced so many really really good songs like really catchy songs and the videos were

quite funny as well because just you know i've watched them i couldn't believe how many songs that i knew of theirs and there's people there's artists that i absolutely really like that have made less songs less hit songs than hall and oats and anyway man eater is they did so many so and they've got that at number 95 joe jackson stepping out i don't even know what that one is i mean that's michael jackson's dad isn't it no definitely where he got his musical talent from 92 john way i don't

know that the pointed sisters so some of these i don't think they were in the uk or if they were it's rolling stone magazine so i'd imagine they'd be focusing more on rock and roll anyway the bangles scritti politi now i like this song the sweetest girl scritti politi it was good i like them i did very strange kind of music see john anderson never heard of john anderson before i could see he's a country singer from his just the fact he's wearing a cowboy hat do you know what okay

i'm not being prejudiced against cowboy hats but i actually saw someone sitting in the front row of a boxing not not the front row probably the third row back which in some ways is worse because they were they were they were taken up they they just took up one seat with their body but their hat was covering about five people either side of them and at one point the it was like it started to rain because an outdoor arena started to rain and everyone got their umbrellas out except those people

that were around him people started to try and get close to him just so he could keep warm not warm well i suppose warm as well but wet dry the opposite to wear what you would do if it was raining that's what they were doing that's what i'm trying to say and the thing is my issue is the hat it's a huge hat it's not fair on the people behind because they can't see the boxing they can't see what's going on admittedly they stopped moaning when it started raining because they

had shelter but still they couldn't see the fight and even one of the boxers was complaining to his corner saying you know i'm doing this but i'm doing this for my for my wife and daughter you know i thought this is a world title fight and i want to win this for my wife and daughter but i can't see them because that big that bloke with that big massive cowboy hat is stopping the view yeah good for them they if it rains they're going to be covered and everything but i

can't see my own wife and daughter and i want to be able to look at them in between rounds just to to get me you know infused um but then eventually unfortunately he got knocked out of the ring changed his mind then the hat saved him honestly this the hat was like a like a net curtain you know not neck curtain you have with a tramp the trampolines thing where they tramp they trampies and have the net protective net what's i don't know what the right word is i've never been

in a circus i don't think i've even actually been in a circus to watch it never mind i haven't been a circus performer seen on telly i've seen a lot of things on telly i've seen sharks on telly don't see them when i go shopping you know just just because i've seen on telly doesn't mean it's around or everywhere you go anyway she was the witch that's what i was trying to get to the woman that took the dog from is the witch in the thing just different makeup you see

so you might not have known this he's like wow i don't know i'm blowing your mind the idea all this information about wizard ross it's like it was the same person the uncles was the characters you know the tin man the uh sausage tin man scarecrow and the cowardly lion so they were her uncles at the beginning of the movie you see them at the end of the movie as well because she she says well you were there and you were there and you were there you weren't though what do

you mean well you're just my you're my grandpa and grand grandmother you weren't there why not i don't know why weren't we there i don't know why you weren't there because initially it's like you're just making it up you're just it's like it was just it was a dream you're just making it up but you know sort of the grandparents were just watching it watching the interaction between dorothy on her bed and her and her uncles she's watching that action and uh the mother's just the grandmother's just like listening to

this what which sounds to her like lies oh yeah you went to yeah yeah went to another another world and in this house yeah um so what where how come the house is still here did did did someone come along just build a new house in exactly the same condition and still left the dent in the wall and uh didn't fix the skirting boards like basically just put it exactly the same how would they have known that unless i had photographic evidence of how the old house was and we don't

have color photography yet so how is that even possible how did the house get back here is a question no one ever asked see this is you know it's like but then you could say well it's magic though isn't it the wizard of oz is a magic place and where magic it is pretty much anything's possible so i think maybe not being quite as small-minded and limited would be a better thing you know maybe chill out a bit oh why is the house it's not really about the house though is

it grandma it's about your granddaughter she's safe oh wait a minute yeah because you remember when you went down into the you you when the hurricane was there and you all jumped into the the big underground place that you've got and you're pulling the doors in and so on says what about dorothy and you stick your head out and saying oh well she's not around never mind and you pull the door down yeah and you get back down into the cellar into the bunker and they said uh grandmother and some

of them probably said sister because i guess she was their sister but they might have called her by her name but no one knows what her name is because they didn't mention it in the movie did they maybe it's one of those situations where everyone calls like hello mother hello father hello grandfather hello grandmother hello daughter hello son do you know my dad hasn't called me by my actual name ever ever always son right son okay son i'm proud of you son no i'm joking that's never happened but hello son

hello son now you might think well what does it matter you're his son yeah it doesn't matter that much but it was a bit complicated when there's four of us kids there he'd ask a question none of us knew who he was talking to i mean at least give us numbers but no son so you've done your homework son we'd all kind of just continue what we were doing in the hope that he was talking to one of the other kids yeah so maybe maybe you know she got down into

the the grandmother got down into the bunker and the three uncles were there the grandmother grandmother and a grandfather and uh three uncles maybe one of the uncles says sister or maybe the mother says brothers and where's where's dorothy and they all look down hoping that they're not being asked because they'd all know that she's outside and uh brothers brother brother where is dorothy thomas where's oh well me i didn't know you said brother i didn't know she was talking about bobby or reggie even to talk to them no i

was talking to all of you why i said brothers and then the grandfather says you know you know what why don't we just all start you know from now on just call each other by our names it makes it so much easier especially at weddings i mean you know it's just it's just easier if we call each other by our names because it gets so confusing sometimes especially when there's an argument and gertrude which is dorothy's grandmother she said uh who said that you can speak she didn't she said oh

well maybe we'll think about it but do you know where dorothy is and she said no he said no so she she gets up and has a look outside and opens the door for like five seconds and then comes back in no she's nowhere to be seen but you weren't out there long were you really no she's nowhere to be seen you could have looked very hard no she's nowhere to be seen are you sure yep nowhere to be seen you sure she hasn't got back to the house and she's

maybe in the bedroom and she's you know the house is shook and she's unconscious because we really should go and make sure she's okay if that's the case nope nowhere to be seen she's not in the house she's not anywhere are you sure she's not in the house no she's not in the house she's how could she be in the house we've just left the house and we've come down into the bunker dorothy's nowhere to be seen yeah but if she has got into the house and she's concussed she might

have some weird kind of dream and think it's real and it could cause all kinds of mental health issues in the future so no she's not in the house well where else could she be if she's not in the house where could she be i suppose she could be with that fortune teller well i hope she's in the house why did you hear about him no what he's not real you know of course he's real i've seen him i've spoken to him no i don't mean he's not a real human

i mean he's not a real clairvoyant uh he's not a real fortune teller he just makes it up well don't they all oh that's controversial and then they all decided to play cards play poker and they forgot all about dorothy so that was weird also did you know ah did you know that the wizard and the fortune teller it wasn't just a wizard he played more than two characters in the movie no he did he did remember when she when they knock on the door and he says no no thank

you nope nope nope that was him that was the wizard see i feel so blessed to be able to share this with you i've been holding this in for years i wanted to share it with people but i just didn't it's like is it too soon i don't want to spoil the movie i know not everyone's watched it and if you haven't watched it i apologize it was not my intention to ruin the the greatest movie well one of my favorite movies of all time to be honest but it was

if you think about it 1939 nothing in my knowledge base had been made there was anything like the wizard of oz i mean just the turning from black and white into color not just color but everything was colorful phenomenal as is it's a it's a great movie i love it i still watch it i do i still watch it sometimes watched it recently mind you at my age recent could be like in the last seven years but it's i watched it recently clint eastwood in general saint oh another one birds

me wrong i do like lots of movies and big fan of you know good comedies airplane the life of brian they'd probably be add to my list of top movies that i just kind of love and so i remember i had a hangover when i was about 13 after stealing wine off loads of people at some birth i don't know what it was some do and i was staying at my uncle's with my my yeah staying with my uncles and i woke and i had lots of red wine and it

was it wasn't a good experience anyway the next day i had a hangover probably the first hangover i'd ever had in my life actually and i watched airplane and the life of brian back to back and i i don't know if i've ever laughed so much never seen either of them before and i just laughed and laughed and laughed and i was on my own no disturbization from anyone else no one around it was brilliant and it was just i was like three hours of absolute bliss it was hilarious just

such funny movies and they're still funny uh to me so hey it's just i've never seen anything like well just airplane it's like what is what i've never seen anything like it anyway i'm gonna go because i probably only take vinny for a walk i've done this i've made this recording very early because i didn't do one yesterday i mean i could pretend that this is yesterday's recording but i'm not i'll just you know put it down as today's and i'm gonna take vinny for a walk and then i will
