Hello and welcome to Let Me Bore You To Sleep and as soon as I start talking guess who comes in well guess who comes in straight away and is under the table do you reckon he thinks I'm actually talking to someone like a person has visited and somehow they've managed to get into the flat without coming in the front door it's like what am I sneaking people in through the window so that he doesn't know they're here I don't know oh anyway uh welcome to Let Me Bore You To Sleep
my name is Jason Newland please only listen when you can safely close your eyes and this is how many days have I done this in a row now I don't mean like forever but it's been quite good so 26 26 of March 25th 24th that's three 23rd four 22nd five 26th okay so I've done five days in a row this is the sixth day in a row there was a day off I did do the 20th and the 19th the 18th I didn't do anything the 17th and then there's your
letter so it's a week between them so this is the sixth day in a row it's not bad is it it's not bad not bad for me oh itchy ear so I haven't um it's not that I haven't done anything today I've I mean when I wake up I do the editing so in the morning I do the editing of the recording that I did the night before or the day before it's now 16 48 in the afternoon and I oh it's an ice cream man so I do this yeah
so when I finish this if I went straight into doing the editing and everything it's a little bit too much it might sound weird but it's quite full-on it's gonna make the recording and then it's quite exhausting to just do that as well because that takes a couple of hours so I make the recording then I turn it all everything off then have me evening meal or whatever it is I'm eating and then go to bed at some point I was in bed at half seven last night a little bit
too early I just just how I felt yesterday I just wanted to go to bed so I did and I woke up about half 10 wide awake yeah it's like oh that wasn't a good idea was it but what was strange is when I woke up I had to take the little one out and I opened the front door my front door and it was pitch black so the hallway lights were off the hallway light downstairs has been off broke whatever for months and months and months and months ages and
ages and I contacted the council to get that fixed months ago and they haven't and it didn't matter so much to me because we had the one at the front at the top and the one at the top is quite bright so it's good to have both but at least you can see the stairs well last night I couldn't see anything and because there's not much in the way of light coming in there's windows in the hallway coming in from the garden there's no light in the garden at all there's
windows at the front of the building but again very little light coming in this the street lights aren't opposite so it's quite dark downstairs there's only the front door and a little bit of window either side of the front door there's nothing on the on the back so it's you it was pretty much pitch black luckily I had my torch so I could see my way around because getting downstairs it was that it was a bit of a struggle even with the torch because bearing in mind I've got him so
that's one hand taken up and the torch kind of is the other hand and I do need to hold on to the banisters because I don't want to fall down the stairs again like I did a year or so ago and I don't want to go through that again so I walked down the stairs like 130 year old honestly really slowly really carefully now gone are the days where I would just skip the odd step nope no no no no no and I prepare for the last step I prepare apparently
I didn't know this the reason why some people as they get older and the last step can be a problem because the muscles in our legs human beings you know with age the the muscle that is used for that last step because different kind of mess muscle gets a little bit weaker with age and which could cause falls and stuff like literally you know when you trip over the last there's no step there kind of I didn't know what that was but it's actually a physical thing it's uh it's just
one of those things with uh getting a little bit older you know just and I'm not talking about old old just you know older we all we all age differently don't we yeah so I got a bit of a groggy head today for some reason so I uh I managed to get down the stairs so I'm holding the torch in the same hand as I'm holding Vinnie's lead and I'm holding on to the banister the you know next to the there's two either side of the stairs thankfully and the thing
is with Vinnie he's got a habit of he just doesn't do the same thing every time sometimes he runs down the stairs with excitement sometimes he just zigzags across the stairs almost like he's trying to trip me up and I like to think that's not the case but yeah you know you never know I think I do annoy him sometimes did you hear him sometimes understatement okay every time I move I just look at his staring at me we literally just be we just got back I don't want to say
the word O-U-T because he understands that word we've only been back a little while literally about half an hour an hour or something so I what I thought I'm gonna have to call the council called them this morning about 8 30 didn't answer because they were closed which is a pretty good reason not to answer the isn't it and then I called them about half nine waited for quite a while to be answered and when I did they said they'd raise a ticket or raise a whatever to have them the
the lights done now I don't think anyone came today I won't know until tonight when the lights come on or they don't come on which would be about eight o'clock or seven o'clock something like that so I mean I'm a little bit concerned about my neighbor who's nearly 80 and just it's just not safe I mean literally you can't see anything walking down the stairs it's not a good idea to be doing that in the dark it's just not very sensible but what do you do if you have to go
somewhere you know if you so yeah that's that's kind of going on there so I hope that they have been but I've been out a few times with uh blimey excuse that I'm getting every day I've got Facebook requests from people I don't even know and what I will say if you instead of sending me a Facebook request just ask to join my Facebook group the private group Jason Newland's boring group that's probably the best thing to do because the amount of people that send me Facebook requests like every day
and then I just say confirm and nearly all of them start sending me weird messages like spam and sort of hello dear how are you my dear or oh I'd really like to be your best friend I've been waiting for you I had that on Facebook actually someone someone posted this is totally true let me have a look where is it so I hardly ever get any kind of response from anything that I post on Facebook like on the normal page hardly any likes hardly any you know no comments anything
it's really rare it's basically I don't think anyone even sees them genuinely I don't I don't know why I post stuff on there I mean I'll post it on the the group but don't know is there any point to do it on the other one but okay right I can't find it oh there's this message and a person said all right hello hello you hello you were where on my recommendation list for the second time now I thought it would be nice to say hello so bad we are not friends
I will love you to friend request me if you don't mind so no I'm not going to do that because you can friend request me it's like what why would I have to friend request I don't I really don't understand this the amount of they don't even look like real profiles and the amount of these profiles where the person's got like 20 friends and they've only been on Facebook for you know since the beginning of the month and then they've got these pictures like it doesn't look real a lot of
the stuff just doesn't look like a real person and it will have the same but it won't be the same person so it's got like video but it's a different person on each video and then there's advert and you can see his adverts like they're just on there to make adverts to try and like I don't know sell stuff but subliminal delivery maybe I don't know and I get loads of these I don't know if anyone else does I mean I'm not exaggerating every day I get some I mean not
you know huge amounts but I do get some today I got one I see all the friend requests I've got because quite often I just delete them but I've got 29 waiting and I don't know any of these people and none of the people have I mean it doesn't just because I don't know doesn't mean they're not real but I don't know any just so in the future because unfortunately if you do ask a friend request chances are you'll get lost in the middle of the others I mean I've got
this bloke Frederick Frederick Williams okay he asked me to add in so I did and he's messaging me hello this is the 3rd of the 12th 2023 I didn't respond so I added him ages ago you know just like okay and then I thought well I don't know yeah 13th of January this year hi dear how are you doing and then about 20 minutes ago hello beautiful love hearts in his eyes like yeah I'm not sure you don't think you know me and I'm pretty sure that this the two mutual
friends are also like fake people as well or may fake people just I don't know I find it strange that the amount of what to be okay I know some people obviously are genuine and but I've had this one person and added me in March 1st of March hello how you doing I didn't reply because I don't know who they are and there's not even a picture on the profile I don't know who they are or anything about them question mark question mark four hours later and then the 3rd of
March hello how are you doing today and then about seven hours later question mark question mark and then Wednesday which I guess would be last Wednesday question mark question mark question mark question mark and I genuinely don't know who it is who else have we got here oh I had one person oh okay here we go here we go Cheryl Siminario Simini Semen Siminario and added me well I said okay fair like maybe she does follow what I do that's what I'm on it for really just for this and hello

on this occasion I do and she put yes I said okay and then she said do you watch the BBC or CNN news last week about the NSF and I put are you a fan of mine and she replied and then I just do you watch the BBC or CNN last what is the NSF is this a scam is this another scammer basically let's have a look what did this what is it I should have checked it really National Science Foundation NSF a video frequent may offer clues away life away
from the earth or maybe there's a real person there um well anyway I can't try to contact her and like just so in the end I just blocked her because it was just dodgy I might be wrong if I am I apologize I apologize of all my toenails um I apologize because it didn't seem like a it was a real person because it's very similar to the same messages I've got I got another one Jean this was 27th of May so added me and I said okay so I just click
said yes how are you doing today that's the 27th of the 5th 2023 so was that May and then 23rd of February hello how are you doing today 17th of March 2024 hi are you doing today how oh no how are you doing today so I figured she's asking exactly the same thing over and over again um in fact I haven't I haven't got rid of her yet um I wonder if she's that's weird chat settings let's have a look see if I can it might be a real person no
posts available with friends no posts available she's got 12 friends one mutual I mean what what does that say it it seems a bit strange a bit strange no posts so I think that what that means is uh it's not even let me block block me yay that's gone I don't know who that person is also some people I think they get their Facebook page taken over and they start sending you know you get messages I had that once from a friend telling me that he was living in um no
he was on a holiday in Spain and he needed money because he was stranded and this was a good friend of mine and I thought don't remember him telling me he was going on holiday he only left the house 10 minutes ago no no he didn't and I thought so I called him up and he said hello he might not have answered the phone like that but he he said hello it's kind of normal greeting really just hello how are you I said are you in Spain he said no I'm
not in Spain I'm here in my home he doesn't talk like that again I don't know why I'm doing that voice and uh he and I said okay I said well your Facebook page has been hacked hacked how did that happen I can't stop it how did my Facebook page get hacked I said I don't know what should I do about it I don't know what to do should I should I call someone is there someone that can help me with this I said I don't know you just change the
password or something how should I change it and then I don't know that that was that conversation so I'll stop that but yeah he that was a bit worrying because he's someone that I would help like I would help there's not you know there's no doubt about it I would do anything I could to help this person because I care about them oh okay here we go here we go oh no this one's a real person so I'll stop that that's a real person and uh Molly who's this Molly the
David again I had someone called David I've got a lot of kind of middle-aged men between I don't know 45 55 50 whatever added me and they're all these good-looking men with a gray bit gray hair and it's like I don't know it don't none of them look like real like they're real people mind you this one he's just real I've just seen his profile he probably is real because he hasn't he just started barking so I don't know um what I was talking about messages and stuff so I'll get
back okay here's another one Paul uh 5th of February 2024 hello friend how are you doing today this is someone must have just added me and I just said yes 7th February 2 14 in the morning why are you ignoring my message 25th of February 2024 at 5 41 p.m. hey so that seems a bit strange to be I don't know it's like they're right they're around 24 hours a day so three five oh I don't know anyway so I'll just uh let me have a look at that person Paul

posted a comment and they haven't replied and then they've got this person's got their first name and they said well it's got Ruffner Tina but Ruffner first and then Tina so that's almost like someone set that up yeah Tina comes first unless Tina is their surname but um yeah I don't know I just find it all a bit strange just a bit strange uh who else have I got I've got another one Inez how are you doing so I didn't haven't replied to that one I didn't know that person Kevin

that Jason it's not going to happen it's the fact that I've actually got a picture of me as like a nine-year-old boy when I was nine that kind of takes that bit away as well but at the top of the page there is a picture of me on the like the the banner picture at the top and no one's going to look at that picture and think you know maybe but not nobody's going to look and think oh I want to find out about him so anybody that actually does add
me because they're following me they know where I'm from if they listen to me at least you might not know where I'm from like specific a dot on the actual the map of the country you might he's in that just in that house there just there he's in the second flat from the left he's in the living room or now he's in the bathroom shouldn't have had that curry last night and but you know he's you're gonna know that I'm from England generally I mean although I suppose some people might
if they don't if they don't know accents you might think I'm from Australia or you know it's some people I've met people in the past have got that confused are you from Australia I'm from England but they were from a country that wasn't like from a um an eastern country you know so they didn't hadn't been they didn't know the accents and stuff um Leslie have I done Leslie oh yeah I don't see this Marlene so glad to see your message so I thought so then you got Tammy so I

people put pictures of their children as the profile picture like they're adult children so you know I realized that a few years back got caught out a little bit so I thought oh I don't know so the person I'm actually talking to is 143 so hey Monty wherever I got Monty this one Monty how's it going over there greetings from space I'm not sure what that was about or other ones okay lots and lots of messages okay okay that's a different person and that's a little person though Facebook user why
is why is that um right so this is a friend of mine but I got a spam from her so I contacted her to let her know that it should uh she's obviously been hacked hello how are you doing 7th February 2024 I'm glad to tell you that Facebook Glotto has changed my life for the better I've received nine hundred and sixty thousand dollars I also found your name on the winning list so I asked the agent I was told you were also one of the lucky winners seems you need
to contact them now so that they can help you deliver your winning prize too do you know how to contact or should I tell you this is someone that I've known for years like online so there's no way she would send something like that to me and now our Facebook page is gone so I think she must have opened up a different Facebook page and unless of course she did actually win nine hundred and sixty thousand dollars and she was just being kind and it's genuine and someone's sitting in office
thinking why why hasn't anyone collected this money but hey I hope not could that be annoying wouldn't it Janet hey how you doing so again another person that's added me randomly okay James that's another getting a lot of army people or people pertaining to be in the army and that one put they didn't even send me a message they just sent them a blank message message unavailable so I don't know can you delete messages once you sent them I don't know okay who else William this is from February hello how

much match I've seen so much of that I've seen a lot of that over the years and you know I just don't want to fall into that kind of trap you know and suddenly I've got someone saying well in order to do that we just need you to give us your big long number on your credit card in this and the account number sort code and maybe that you know free numbers on the back if you can just give us that as well an expiry date and yeah we don't need

what I do the messages are nice they're you know yeah so that's it another person did I did Rachel didn't I Amel that sounds like someone I might yeah someone that's sent me a lovely message as well so hello Amel so this uh so I would say that if you are if you haven't added to my Facebook group then please do and that sounds like I don't want anyone to add me to but I just want genuine people I don't I don't want the the you know some of the things

had quite a lot going on at the end of last year um Aster says hey sending you love and light my beloved sister so probably someone that doesn't know me I mean calling me beloved sister they've got the gob in the garden being really loud again Georgia Carter so that's deleted that person who else we got that's something yes that's a colloquialism in this like in the south east or south east of London I'm not being funny and that's their beginning to the usually it's not funny what they say it's
true I'm not being funny and they're not being funny but it's just just a moan I'm not being funny George well there's no conversation there at all um Vanessa that's a lovely message um Dana no message so I don't know what's going on there Fergus these are all unsent messages they're not available maybe they they've got deleted Joel I know Joel so that's cool uh Ryan uh Jean that's all deleted for some reason ah here we go look again this is all deleted Brenda and this is someone that sent me
another scam thing but I I replied with a link to the scam it's called scamdetector.com which you know looks into things just then you can just I sometimes I just post a link on people's pages if they've sent something to me Ashley Ashley uh okay blimey that's nice this is another thing um wow I've not even replied I've not replied I'm gonna reply now hi Ashley sorry for not replying sooner I only just saw this just saw saw your message that's crazy how can I not have seen that that's ridiculous
and I've spelt her name wrong sorry Ashley I spelt with a y instead of two e's and this is from the 21st to the 1st 2023 the first message hi Jason thank you so much for what you do you were spot on when you said that some people are just put at ease when listening to a friendly voice I listen to Let Me Bore You To Sleep every night to fall asleep and then throughout the night 10 hours I found that you keep me from having nightmares to cool side effect
anyway to get Vinnie to stop chewing on your pants you should get a training collar that has a remote control I don't have to I don't have to use the shock function with my Border Italia puppy just the vibrate function he'll do anything I say you may have to use okay I hang in there being a fur baby though so I actually um I must have read this out loud that's why I didn't reply on Facebook because I read it out loud because at the end she says you can read
this out loud if you want if you want it kind of makes you feel famous so you you're famous again Ashley and and this is where are you I pray that you and Vinnie are all right this is an 11th of the 10th 2023 um is it 11th 1st yeah 11th of the 10th 11th of October yeah um so I I did actually get myself a collar or get got a collar for him and yeah because I got him in December 2022 to January 2023 so I'd had him just over
a month and I did get a vibrating collar the thing is it was nearly as big as him so he didn't like it it was very uncomfortable and once I I took it off him because I didn't I didn't even I couldn't leave it on him all the time because I had to charge it up but it did do the job and then I I think I was charging it or it it was on the table and I went a couple of days and I didn't put it on him and
I noticed something on the floor lots of little bits little black bits all over the floor and I look and it is that's what it was he'd managed to get it off the table or it had fallen off the table he had destroyed the thing the strap was still in one piece but he had destroyed he'd really gone to town with a sledgehammer or something and so I don't think he liked it hmm a good guess that okay so what am I Ashley where are you I'm just added on you

a comedian well he is a comedian and one of the first comedian friends that I made back in 2000 2000 1991 January he was there the first night I ever performed and I tried to call him 21st of the 5th last year and he tried to call me back the next day and I missed it so I remember calling him it's nearly a year ago oh wow barbie bum bum bum bum bum barbie so that's someone that sent me a message saying he loved my podcast so that's that's nice Julie
something like hello how's life treating you the thing is I guess because I talk about my life when I make these podcasts I kind of assumed that those that listen to me regularly would know roughly what's going on however some people listen to the other stuff I do don't they the hypnosis stuff so they might never listen to these recordings and not know anything about me which probably helps Tammy sent me just a big TikTok link and I ain't clicking on it that's it simple as um okay so Hillary that's
nice um what was weird uh this this person from years ago I was friends with her and found her on Facebook and said hello to her said I don't know if you remember me but we were friends back in 19 wow 97 98 time and she didn't remember me at all and I'm never going to forget her it's weird she left an impression on me and there's nothing didn't date or anything just I just really liked her and I mean we had one thought one conversation where she dreamt about me
and how can you forget someone you've dreamt about oh well you know what I put that down to people having lives they've got lives they've got full and interesting lives and they've moved on doing things you know I'm kind of just still here just doing the same thing so I guess not much has happened really in mine and oh well anyway um Deborah play with me um yeah perhaps I'll move on from that one John John John uh what this is hello Jason I sincerely hope that this message finds you

lights oh first message was 27th of December 2019 the first message is thanks for insults my cat is fast asleep again oh okay I'm not quite sure uh okay right so that's that's a while and then she just stopped stopped contacting me the last message was 2022 December so it went on for 19, 20, 23 years and then she moved on moved on we all have to move on eventually uh okay so yeah so this is Heidi so she sent me some lovely messages I won't read them out hello how
are you I'm William from Liberia Liberia West Africa 12th of the second 2022 I did a thumbs up just to say hi don't know who the person is they've added me and you know like normal nice to meet you they say this is the 13th again a bit later on good morning for two days later now is 6 15 a.m in my country okay quite specific details there um temperature I don't know for whatever information could you give me so 24 for the second hello how are you right gaps between
each of those words and then the 6th 11th 6th of the 11th 2022 hello so waited for nine months and I don't know just I don't always see the messages to be honest so I'm not being ignorant all the time I try not to be ignorant but I don't see the messages pat hello how are you doing today again that might be someone see some of these messages that I haven't replied to on here I might have replied to on the podcast so they might actually some of them might be

something something new babe well that wasn't going on anyway we had a little thing on the very first night she took advantage of me I had a broken rib I couldn't move I couldn't get her off it's so silly but I literally was in agony after that that was it I couldn't have a physical contact with anybody because I had a broken rib and which is part of the reason why I came home early and good afternoon still awake you still awake she nice me you still awake because I missed
her calls accidentally missed the calls this is 21st of the 5th good morning babe two missed calls 21st of the 5th 2022 at hotel that's what I that's what I put at hotel I call you you see that I was out just got back now having a shower you need to go out again tonight not sure oh this is at the actual this is when I was there message to me if you want tonight now am sit on my bar you can relax in your room never mind good night and
then the next day good afternoon you outside now or in room I put hi I just finished shower and open bar I'm room you cut what's it I'm room come here I'm room you come I started talking talk like her so we hung out we went out for dinner and went on the beach and stuff so it was nice to have someone that could speak Thai that could speak the language so I could maneuver my way around we went and visited a temple Buddhist temple and it was just she seemed
to know everyone you know and people were going out of their way to sort of be friendly they're friendly anyway but uh we went to this bar it's just like a small little bar on the beach and the manager or the owner got on his moped and rode off and she told me he's going to get us a pizza it's just like he was the manager or the owner he's like he was of course didn't get paid for it but he was gonna you know how many bars do you know
they would go and collect the pizza themselves um I go soon I need to make a little bit I need to make a make up a little bit make up a little bit I don't know that's what she said to me this is I said okay you come down I go now she said missed I've missed a few calls what are you doing and then there's a couple of pictures of me oh yeah we did go out to a bar this is in the afternoon then a 23rd of the 5th
good afternoon she says to me where are you room or not or where are you at room or out question mark I open my bar coming now so I noticed I'm missing out like filler words like I am coming now or just like coming now what was the other thing I said I'm room you come here I'm turning to Tarzan um you Jane a good afternoon again another one 24 for the 5th if you already you come to meet me because I need to buy pizza for children you need pizza
too and that's when I called her mention pizza and I will phone you you she got my attention last for two minutes and then she 24th yeah it's the same time it's about 50 minutes later come now please pizza ready so I answered the phone I think I phoned her again and then later on there's a phone call that we both spoke she called me I called her 25th of the 5th now I'm at home already you take your eat ready I miss you this might be the day when I
came back um yeah I might this might be the day that I travel back and she replied again kept calling me why you not call me back I wait your call what happens with you and frowny face Jason and miss you there was no honesty there was no romance there at all which had been all romantic and there was it wasn't romantic at all now you home or not um and I replied no data once left Thailand blimey I'm still not putting punctuations just got to London airport long trip need
sleep still three hours till I get home which was a very valid thing to say because it was a very long trip and you know it's like 13 14 hours I think when I left there there was yeah it's bad weather or something so I had to wait extra time a few hours yeah so everything was late and then the trip to from where I was to the airport in Thailand was about an hour and a half and then coming back to Liverpool street is about an hour and a half
or an hour and then getting back from Liverpool street to where I live was another hour and then there's another half an hour on top of that to get back to where I live so about two and a half hours from the airport to my home so yeah so a very very long long journey call me back when you home so I didn't I didn't because I was tired hi good morning to you you want this is the 27th and then you online Facebook but you're not answering me okay I
get it you don't want to talk with me please tell me that hi all's well just resting to get over jet lag very tired long journey so I kind of clashed as soon as a friend I spent time with her I wasn't romantically involved you know it's just the friends and then she started phoning me and phoning me and phoning me and she doesn't really you can be on Facebook it just means you've got your Facebook page open that's all it means doesn't mean you're actively on Facebook if you've got
a phone and you've got the Facebook app it could be open all the time and people think oh you're on Facebook no I'm not on Facebook I'm actually you can literally leave your phone and go and be in a different city I'm not actually here just because the Facebook page says that I'm active and call me back when you're okay so there's that miss miss call darling please call me and then the 31st of the 5th we had a 53 minute chat so that was nice and I sent her money
I think then 31st of the 5th miss you 1st of the 6th missed a video call 2nd of the 6th hi what are you doing 2nd of the 6th why are you not calling me you read my message but not reply always you busy so we did have a chat after that six minutes call me later okay that's that's her we had another video chat 17 minutes and then she says lady come to you yes and I said kebab because I'd ordered a kebab yes lady come to your room I
said no man who question question kebab delivery man who must have been on the phone and someone knocked on the door and she said yes that was her response and oh man and then video chat and she basically wanted me to send her money I need to okay right I'm gonna put that in 17 11 minutes she sent me a picture of the package so I don't know what she asked me to send her Vinnie stop that mate she asked me to send her something and I just want to shout
at him when he's barking I want to just shout I don't it's not I want to but it frustrates me so much calm down Vinnie so in order to send her something she had I needed a telephone number and she didn't know why so anyway done should be in your bank in the next two days let me know when it's arrived why not show my name why not show my name don't know you should get four thousand two hundred bahts which is two four six eight it's a hundred pound hundred
pound next week I can get money I think Tuesday are you sure probably so it takes a couple of days to get there maybe two days if I get money already I'll let you know okay okay thank you lovely what are you doing sleeping this had kept sending me these messages good morning babe hiya video chat and then she sent me a face like a picture of the the money that arrived in her bank and some other pictures and everything six of the six my mama bar a very big bar
or not I said yeah it's nice I said uh cool so she phoned again so this this carried on for a couple of weeks and then she sent me a message baby I want to puke so bad right now and I said good why would I say good no that must that wouldn't have been no I sent her more money blimey I sent her another hundred pound so that's 200 pound she had out of me she basically didn't have a job didn't have any money didn't have any food didn't really
have anywhere to live she lived above the bar this is during covid by the way just the aftermath of covid and the bar was closed a lot of people didn't have any jobs so I was just trying to help her out but she she kind of tried to rinse me a bit and she said I need to see you please you busy now that's a seven for the six she sent a picture of them all eating which is nice a nice picture always you busy again so I've spoke to her
a few times blimey 11 minutes for that one 30 minutes for that one see what happened then is I booked to go back right I booked a hotel and then I changed my mind I thought because I thought well I want to go back I went I was there I had a broken rib it wasn't good I want to go back now that I'm healed and but then basically I booked the hotel thinking I could cancel it but I wasn't able to cancel it couldn't believe it okay so I just
said well fair enough I'll just keep it and I put it in her name and said to her that you could stay there for a month or a week couple of weeks or whatever it booked it for so she said when I stay at hotel I'll call you if you're not busy I said okay if you're busy never mind we can talk tomorrow and I think she seemed she quite happy to be in the hotel I said speak tomorrow when I'm awake sleep well okay I do not disturb you baby
she's really perked up since she's in the hotel oh and she sent me another picture of another um blimey what's that two four six eight wow how much is that two thousand a thousand bahts hundred bahts is twenty dollars two no thousand baht is twelve thousand I'm losing track now is a thousand bahts thousand bahts is twenty dollars is it yeah I think so so too so I sent her some more money blimey uh that was on the 10th of the 6th 12th of the 6th you forget me already and
I replied who is this it was a joke you know it's me I attempt humor occasionally I sometimes it's very rare but sometimes you do not remember me and she put a picture of herself and I put a scream ah sure you not remember me not sure did did I meet you in France why you not answer my call she called me like busy working always you say that sorry when you call me it's the 12th of the 6th last night and wait for your call I only talk I don't
I not need your money if you're thinking like that and I said are you okay and she said yeah I'm okay then the 13th you forget now I remember I wait your call all night last night so we did speak I don't remember there's other stuff guys always drama here and dealing with that we have to do okay yeah it didn't happen anyway whatever it was she wanted 15th of the 6th I call you see that was asleep we'll call next talk text text tomorrow you okay um so I blimey
25k good so I sent more money to her and she sent me when you call me send me this picture my phone has been swollen for six years now now my phone and I said what I said do you need a new phone if I could buy a new phone in this phone I need to give my children I said cool I got money already darling I said groovy and she had a couple of missed calls you're okay and then she sent me another picture okay of a television three so
a television she wants to buy uh three thousand four thousand baht and I thought okay and she said I want she wanted me to pay for it I said find one for 100 baht darling 100 baht you want to help me right I said 110 okay 115 114 big rain now yay send me a video of the heavy rain I've been that annoyed her because I didn't want to see videos of anything else but once she told me about heavy rain I got excited I've never seen you excited before it
was weather isn't it I'm English I get excited by rain now stop stop babes whatever darling and really miss that's her darling you send money for me this is the 20th of the 6th for buy tv yes I said yes so I did it and she chose her god bless her she chose a more expensive one and not only that she wanted a cabinet as well I said have you bought the tv I said I she said I've got to go to the shop first so I don't know what I
sent her and I'm waiting for your call last night uh was unwell yesterday now you feel better sorry I'm not asking you you have fever been not well for a few days no fever just very low be okay soon hope you be okay sooner I go to look this is an excellent 21st of the 6th 2022 I go shop for looking tv already too expensive 400 bar up I buy online already I buy online ready and that's the 21st then she replied like how you feel today darling been a good
morning the next day how you feel better now if you don't want to talk with me tell me I said still unwell she'll be back to normal in a week or so you okay um so she's kind of just hassling me I suppose a little bit but uh I get money ready darling thank you and tv not come yet I think come tomorrow send me a picture of the rain which was good it's like really really really really flooded proper and she kept phoning me and kept phoning me and kept
phoning me and kept asking for more money she showed me the picture of the tv in the bar that she was living basically lived in a little room upstairs it's an empty bar tomorrow I have to go company for tv I say are you happy for tv because Monday darling I'm not feel good today feel better soon okay and she said I hope I open bar tomorrow I say cool six o'clock I have to go to market I'm hungry too and not eat yesterday so I said I said um I've
sent money for you to get some food for what please tell me that I literally said I've sent money for you for food and then she replies for what I get money ready so I send the money for her to eat I am not coming to Thailand again I've already booked hotel so you can stay there attached to the uh uh so I said I'm not coming to Thailand again tell me your reasons why you can't come to Thailand it's really weird suddenly our English really improves or you have girlfriend
in England now about money or not I know you will go somewhere else please call me and so I just said look sorry not being on Facebook I'm not coming to Thailand or anywhere else I have run out of money which is true I couldn't get a refund from the hotel I have problems here to sort out sorry but that's just how things are at the moment I hope you're well we'll check into Facebook again next week and uh anyway you must so you help here's the ironic thing yeah so
you have problems with money right I said yeah you know what her solution her basically she she told me it basically made me kind of um she gave the reason why I had problems with money she said you help people too much yes you're good for many people but why God not help you and I said well I've got no money it's gone you can borrow money from your friends borrow money from my friends blimey what did she want me to borrow money for my friends to give to her I
don't know I tell you not help people too much I said yeah well you know and she tells me I'm working not have salary I'm working for free oh blimey and I ended up still ended up sending her some money not a lot but 30 quid or whatever blimey put it on when I oh yeah yeah because she stayed in the hotel when I left because I left early the first time she stayed there you send money for I pay hotels tomorrow not forget please call me lady in hotel because
okay basically the last message was the 6th of the 7th and as soon as I knew she was in the hotel that was the last message we had and I mean that 6th of the 7th 6th of the 7th 20th of the 5th so there's a month and a half and she skimmed this is just what she skimmed out me when I left when I was there I mean some of it wasn't you know the hotel and stuff that wasn't really on her but when I was there I ended up
her friends ripped me off so when I gave food out to the home well not homeless to the hungry it was her friend's bar that prepared the food and they charged me like the rates that they would charge a tourist not the rates they would charge a Thai person bearing in mind I was giving all the food out free to Thai people so they made the people that prepared the food they would have made more money than they would on a day normally because I was getting hundreds of meals made
and they wouldn't have probably done that in a week so they made money from me anyway but then they made probably three times or twice as much as they would have made because they charged and this lady that I spent some time with she knew this she was friends with them and she didn't tell me till a few days afterwards now if I'd have known I would have kind of cut my losses after the first day but I did it like two days in a row and they really yeah they
milked me I didn't really understand why when trying to help someone and they still try and take advantage of someone's help that's weird I don't know didn't really couldn't really get my head around that one if I'm honest if I'm honest with you so why now messenger's gone where's messenger so now I've lost messenger messenger's now disappeared does that mean I don't have messenger on Facebook oh I do it's come back Ashley okay wow um so yeah what else was I going to talk about oh yeah I'm gonna leave you
with some quirky light little less known facts about the world of showbiz okay so here we go I've got a little list here and I'll just read them out here the famous MGM lion law it's not just one lion but several lions over the years the most famous of these being Leo who had been the mascot since 1957 and another one is James Bond apparently was it was actually based on a real person yeah I see and did it did Star Wars the sound of one of the fighter engines is
actually the sound of an elephant core mixed with car tire screeches on a wet road oh here's interesting you know the the vultures in the jungle book the cartoon and the Beatles were supposed to play them but I had scheduled conflicts which prevented it Casablanca play against Sam it was actually play it Sam oh Toto not the band brilliant band not them it's the dog from the wizard of oz was paid 125 a week more than some of the human actors wow and I didn't know this Steven Spielberg completed his
degree in 2002 33 years after dropping out by submitting uh Schindler's List as his final project wow I mean can you imagine that handing in like an oscar-winning movie script you're probably going to pass aren't you unless of course you didn't produce it then it wouldn't work so much would it I don't think it would have worked with my degree so what have you done for your dissertation Jason hand over a dvd of Schindler's List Titanic and the sketch of Kate Winslet you know when she had her um moin moins
out uh was drawn by director James Cameron yo perv the voices of Mickey and Minnie Mouse were two people out there actually married in real life Wayne Alwyn and Russie Taylor it's nice isn't it do you reckon they did the voices when they were at home which would make me wonder what were they doing when they did the voices and whether there's any footage of the voices that is um Bill Murray was bitten by the groundhog multiple times during the filming of Groundhog Day wow here's one the first couple to
be shown in bed together on prime tv were Fred and Wilma Flintstone god it's just hard to believe isn't it um Rocky 1976 so Sylvester Stallone sold his dog for 50 dollars when he was broke then bought it back for 3000 after selling a script for Rocky I heard about the first part of that that he sold his dog for 50 dollars because he was broke didn't realize he bought it back because I thought when I first heard that I thought uh that you sold your dog yeah that's that's gummy
it don't you know I mean you get on the streets and beg for food if you have to don't you don't know um but he did buy it he bought it back for 3000 blimey no one's I mean you might love your dog but 3000 you're gonna like have to think about it and yeah when you think about free you know this was back in 1976 so 3000 is probably worth probably about what 15 000 maybe 20 000 now I mean you can have Vinnie for like 20 pound if you
want 20 pound I'll give you 20 pound take him please take him um Forrest Gump Thomas Tom Hanks Thomas Hanks didn't have a he didn't take a salary up front for Forrest Gump but instead took percentage points which ultimately netted him over 40 million and that was a clever clever one that there's a couple of people that did a movie like that and they said they earned more money from that one movie than they have done for the rest of their careers I can't remember what it is what the movie
is and the the person the the director or producer director whoever it was that was in charge of the finances of the movie never again offered that deal to any of his actors in the future or her actors I don't know um because they didn't make the money they would have made otherwise Alfred Hitchcock made a cameo appearance in every one of his films I didn't know that I didn't I really didn't uh I don't know if this was true or not because I've heard these similar things about Elvis Presley
and even Michael Jackson don't worry I'm not going in a weird area I'm not going in a different direction uh Charlie Chaplin once entered a Charlie Chaplin look-alike contest and came in third I've heard that about Elvis and Michael Jackson as I said I mean they've all got something common in their Charlie Chaplin Elvis and Michael Jackson and top of their game it's one of the things they got in common they were like the best of what they did uh the original voice of Snow White Adriana Casalotti was paid 970
dollars for her work and was contractually forbidden from performing in any other film or media to preserve the character's voice that is ridiculous here's 970 dollars which okay it was a lot a lot of money back then because what is it this is the 1930s or 40s or something so that was probably worth about 40 grand or something but you're never allowed to work again ridiculous that wouldn't hold up in any court now would it um Bruce Lee was so fast that his movies had to be slowed down so you
could see his moves I mean yeah maybe sometimes but there is there's a clip in I'm I'm the biggest Bruce Lee fan in the world always have been but I mean I was I was born kicking and punching um there's a clip in End of the Dragon where he jumps into a tree they basically just reversed him jumping out of a tree and they and they showed him jumping up into a tree backwards and come on even I'm not that silly and it was sped up sometimes maybe they slowed down
sometimes but you know a lot of those martial art movies they were sped up it's just you can tell just the facial expressions you know uh Bruce Lee was okay E.T. the extraterrestrial 1982 the E.T. where the scene where E.T. is drunk was achieved by putting a small person in the costume who was actually drunk yeah that's funny that's funny um just the drunk bit obviously um Jaws 1975 okay right now Audrey Audrey Hepburn had a pet deer named Pippin which he took to the supermarket blimey okay Walt Disney uh
Pulp Fiction the mysterious briefcase contents are never revealed leading to decades of fan theories how is that trivia we know that it's never been really it's it was because it was sparkly wasn't it like bright and shiny um Fight Club the first rule of Fight Club you do not talk about Fight Club has become one of the most famous lines in movie history yet it's broken all the time by fans discussing the film true that's quite that's quite true Jurassic Park the sound effects for the velociprotators were made from recordings
of tortoises mating or as like some people like to call them tortoises Orson Welles did not win an academy award for Citizen Kane which some class as the greatest film ever made 1941 the matrix the iconic green code is actually just a bunch of sushi recipes blimey um in Gladiator 2000 the script was actually still being written as the film was being shot leading to daily changes and improvisations which maybe white made is such a good movie perhaps i need to re-watch that i haven't seen it for a long time
uh Toy Story initially was going to be a direct to video release i'm glad they didn't do that i'm bet they're glad they didn't do it as well because that was huge when that huge huge hit great film as well number 12 Michael Jackson tried to buy marvel comics in the 1990s because he wanted he wanted to play spider-man in his own produced movie it might have been good to be fair he was very i don't know i don't know so he's i mean he had enough money to make a
really really good movie didn't he let's face it he had the millions and the people that would invest in it so there's no reason why someone like Michael Jackson when he was obviously alive he could have made uh had the best directors and the best producers and the best actors and everything in the movie there's no reason not to because everyone's going to get paid which is pretty much the bottom line isn't it singing in the rain i can't imagine Michael Jackson as spider-man but he did he was very slim
and versatile i mean i don't know what the versatile means but flexible i mean um i can't get that image out of my head now Michael Jackson as spider-man yeah it's a shame he didn't but why would you have to buy marvel i suppose yeah maybe he could have just asked them or said look can we make a movie on spider-man don't pay me well i'll pay for the movie to be made you know if you wanted to do it i don't know singing in the rain the rain in the
famous scene was milk mixed with milk to show up better on camera blimey that's weird isn't it i just yeah that must have must have really made a mess um silence of the lambs anthony hopkins is only on screen for 16 minutes so he's one of the shortest lead winners oscar winners uh raiders of the lost ark the famous scene where indiana jones shoots a swordman on the bridge was improvised because harrison ford was suffering from dysentery he basically needed a poo and breakfast club the in 1985 the entire film
was shot in sequence does that mean like i suppose yeah just from beginning to end see that seems like the obvious way to make a film but i know some movies they film the end before the beginning and the some some of the actors don't even know what the film is going to be like and the dark knight heath ledger designed the joker's makeup himself using drugstore makeup uh um johnny depp always travels with his captain jack sparrow costume to make surprise visits to sick children in hospitals oh man that's
so cool back to the future 1985 the time machine was originally supposed to be a refrigerator wow it's hard to imagine hard to imagine back to the future with a refrigerator a fridge instead of a the you know the car how would that have worked how it i mean i don't know yeah it wouldn't have worked but that's probably why they didn't use it blimey by the way i just saw they're doing a new back to the future movie and it's got the same characters in i think michael j fox
is in it a little bit um and they got clips from the old movies you've got the old bloke doc doc he's in it but he's up to date like how he is now and i got tom holland spider-man current spider-man he's playing um what's his name's son so it's gonna be yeah it looks like it'll be fun and again they're going back to the same scenes and you know from before so they've got all that footage i guess they're going to be using and yeah i look forward to it
