Hello and welcome to Let Me Bore You To Sleep. My name's Jason Newland and my website is jasonnewland.com. Please only listen every single day. Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes.
Let's get the chair a little bit closer. Oh, that's nice. Oh, so it's Friday, the 8th of December, 2023.
Hello, hello, hello, hello. Yeah, so here we are. Here we are again.
La la la la la. Vinnie's now staring at me. I'm not sure why.
Because a minute ago I was well probably 30 seconds ago even I was sitting on a chair the seat in a settee Logie was over on the other side of the settee asleep Vinnie was lying on my legs asleep and now Logie's on the floor asleep because he falls instantly asleep and Vinnie's sitting to the left of me staring and I don't know what he wants he wants my attention taking up some water so today I received the muzzle so I ordered a muzzle yesterday for Logie the big dog my
friend's dog and I did order it last week with the pet shop but they didn't it didn't come in this was I went in there on Wednesday last week so I went in again Wednesday this week but they hadn't got it so they told me the right one to get and then I went to Amazon I think I yeah I think I ordered it on Wednesday evening and it came through today this afternoon late afternoon and I took it and took him out with it on he don't like it he
doesn't have a choice you know he wears or he doesn't go out I mean going to garden without it but if he doesn't have it on he's not gonna go for a walk and it was quite nice to have him wearing it because I felt safe knowing that he wasn't there was no chance in the world that he could get into a fight with a dog it's not gonna happen you know he could have a slapping contest but that's it you can't get the thing off his face because it's attached
really really correctly actually and also it's attached to his collar as well as being you know various buckles and stuff doesn't like it but you know there you go he's it was actually rolling around on the floor thinking that that would help get it off didn't help he can't get it off himself right he had a collar he had a muzzle before and he could get it off himself he could he could pull it off this is not possible for him to get off I've made very certain that I got
the best one I could get and it fits in nice and snug and he doesn't like it at all what's weird is he let himself let me know that he didn't like it by head-butting me in the shin at one point during our walk it really hurt he proper banged right in my shin and I'm just repeating what I just said haven't I but he head-butted me in a third time now in the shin and it really hurt I've already said that that's just I don't know how else to tell
the story other than exactly how it happened there's nothing really else to add but oh ouch ouch ouch I don't know if he did it on purpose but I think he might have done I'm thinking I'm guessing I'm wondering he's a little bit annoyed with me a little bit slightly slightly annoyed so without being a downer or anything I've got the my friend who passed away two weeks ago he's they've not found a cause yet so it's gonna be an inquiry and stuff into that but his funerals going ahead next
month the second week of January so yeah that's weird but hey I'm not gonna talk about that I'm just updating you on the situation that's kind of I'm going through is that the correct thing I mean I do want to talk about it to be honest but it just doesn't really fit in with a relaxing sleepy podcast you know I mean I do really I'd love to kind of sort of talk about how it is been and what I've kind of learned so I've learned a few things from this situation
yeah anyway I won't I said the one thing I will say is and I never realized I might have already mentioned this I never I'd heard it before I never really understood it but I understand it now but I can see I can see variations of the similar as the same thing it the body is not the person you know I mean our body is not the person when we're alive but especially you know when the life ends it's just an empty shell could be a waxwork it's not the person
whatever essence makes that person is gone it's left the body so that's something I never realized because I've never been in a situation where I saw someone like that in that situation and you could see it wasn't him anymore but then I've been thinking about it and I realized that because some people were I'm really kind of seeing him as still being him and I couldn't really why have you got a wolf bang stuff against the metal is it could just trying to annoy me no he just does it because
it's fun I was thinking in this situation because I'm not attached I was not attached to my to my friend's body I can't explain what I mean by this is I didn't I didn't care how I didn't care how he looked but it wasn't important to me but I imagine if it's a loved one like a romantic relationship there's a huge attachment to the body isn't there from both sides like the other person because of the attractiveness and the love and whatever romance and the how the person looks regardless if
you're not with the person because of how they look you gonna imagine if you're in love with someone you like the way they look which is why I'm single possibly I so I can kind of see if I was with someone who was my wife or girlfriend or whatever and in that situation perhaps I would be still attached to her body not in a weird way just in a in a kind of loving but maybe find it difficult to disassociate her body from her in a in that moment maybe but
because I didn't have that type of relationship with my friend I could see that it wasn't him because my relationship was purely personality based and I didn't I could see that it wasn't him anymore wasn't him he's gone he was gone and yeah just opened up a few I don't want to talk about it then I go and talk about it oh blimey I'm gonna stop talking about it so don't worry I'll talk about other things now I don't want to be a bummer I just it's what's going on so
you know that's what's going on for me just doesn't seem real still two weeks later doesn't seem real every I keep because we used to make fun of things that's one of the things we had in we like to mock and just be a little bit absurd and perhaps a little bit say things we shouldn't say just for fun you know not really meaning it but knowing that we'd get in trouble if we said it in front of other people maybe and it was just part of our friendship we'd say
stuff that was wrong sometimes without meaning it I think that's the main thing and there is I was watching this movie about some elves it was a Christmas elf in my yard or something like that or elf in my cabin it was a Christmas movie and it's like a horror comedy kind of thing but I wanted to go downstairs and get Luke and say look come upstairs who does this remind you of because it just looked a little bit like someone that we both know it was just funny just I
don't know just it was just a bit funny and yeah yeah anyway it's just silly things like you know the boxing's coming on and I want to go and tell him about the box and I'll guess what's happened now but I can't it's weird it's very strange I was pretty much you know 99% of my interactions was with him you know that's he's one of the only people that I would see the last few years so this is yeah I mean I've got I got Vinnie and now I've got his
dog yeah not Vinnie's dog but a friend's dog so trying to find him a home there's a couple of options coming up one is one of my friend's cousins may be taking him and the other option is a neighbor's got a friend who re-homes dogs that's what she does I don't either as a job or as a hobby as a charity thing I don't know but she she's interested in finding out what to do with him as well the problem is as each day goes by I'm getting more attached to
him I didn't think that would happen I was always I always liked having him up here you know I love that I love the little well the big fella you know he's a very very affectionate dog and he's no problems really you know apart from he likes to he's not a big fan of other dogs other than that he's not really an issue huge issue and that's now sorted but you know when I looked after him I was always happy for him to go back downstairs you know I was happy
for him just to leave and I could just get on with my day now I'm starting to get used to him being here I didn't think I would and I'm not sure I want him to leave but then there's the problems of he's breathing is not very good I don't know what his you know I kind of little bit concerned about vet bills when they when they arise because I got no money to spend on vet bills I can't insure him because he's so old and he's he's probably got medical
conditions he's got arthritis in his feet so he struggles a little bit to walk sometimes with Vinnie I got him insurance within a month of getting him because he was so young I got what was it like a rescue dog insurance and Vinnie's covered for everything you know but it's cost me 64 pound a month to insure him this hopefully well I hope that Vinnie never needs it but you know realistically he might do one day so I'm hoping that that will cover him for everything Logie's got no cover and
I contacted I went online to find a charity that would help you know with either free free veterinary treatment for a dog or reduced prices for people on benefits and stuff or we couldn't afford it and there's nothing in my area there's nothing anywhere near where I live not in my town anything so this is just it's just not practical it's just you know I'm not gonna be able to do that yeah I don't know what to do I'm not sure what to do not sure what to do not sure
what to do not sure what to do do we do we do we do I'm drinking a can of coke but guess what guess what size they are 150 ml is that milliliters it's like I think it's less less than half the size of a normal can because they're 320 I think 150 tiny little thing so I thought okay I'll get a pack when I got my delivery of food yesterday I thought I'd get a little pack of cokes to be honest I wasn't sure if they were small or not
I thought they were just really cheap but that explains why I've got so many for sort of seven pound because they're small make my hands look huge put it back in there so I'm just having a little bit of just I just look little can of coke every now and then I'm not drinking much yes and to be fair we're talking like to probably not even two mouthful maybe two mouthfuls maybe one mouth depends how big your mouth is I haven't got a particularly big mouth but I possibly could fit
it all in there I don't know no I don't mean the can that'd be weird why would I even try to fit a can in my mouth but liquid I don't think I could fit all of it in but maybe I could I haven't tried there's no reason to really do that it's not it hasn't really come up you know so one of the things I think he's gone back to bed it's really funny I can now I can tell that they're both get comfortable with the living situation because this
morning I got out of bed and they both stayed in bed so both sleep on the bed with me and neither of them got up I think Vinnie was sleeping underneath the pillow not my pillow there it's now his pillow it's weird because I've gone back to basically sleeping in a single bed again but in a double bed it's very strange so I'm not allowed on the other pillow anymore because that's Vinnie's and Logie takes up the rest of the bed and when I'm not sitting on my chair because there's
a settee and it's got two seats guess who sits on excuse me that's the coke and the gas hmm guess who lays and goes to sleep on my side of the settee both of them at various times why why don't they when I'm there he sleeps on the other side but when I'm not sitting I'm sitting here he just got up onto that side I don't get it so I sit there because that's where the TV it sort of fits with watching the telly you know if the TV was further
over there I might sit on the other side I don't know it's hard to tell I really want to get my TV put onto the wall but I don't know anyone that can do it do you know any wall people wall TV builders I don't know whatever call is called engineers I'm trying to minimize miniminiminiminiminimize the clutter in this building so just trying to move stuff out that I don't need put stuff in the storage room that I don't need in a bedroom or the living room and get rid of
stuff out of storage that I don't need at all it's taken a while it really is but and hopefully it's coming together the problem is no matter how many times I vacuum the floor the next day it's messy again between the two of them they just I don't know where half the stuff comes from but it's just mess everywhere and another thing I discovered about Vinnie and I discovered this the last this week or so went round the neighbor's house the one that used to have him his old mum and
he was so really happy to see her he loves her so much and he wants to be in that flat it's almost like he'd rather be there than be here which is a little bit upsetting but hey and she's now got a cat and he the cat was in the put into a bedroom and with the door closed so he couldn't get there couldn't get to the cat but he's having the time of his life with the cat's toys because it's just the right size because he's kind of the size
of a big cat a lot big domestic cat rather not like a lion or a leopard something really weird happened and we had the she's got a garden so both the dogs are going in and out of the garden do their business and everything and so I was talking to her Logie was on the the settee behind her he likes to do that I don't let him do that here because I like my space it's weird but you know I will cuddle him in that but when I'm laying down I
want to be able to lay back and not not be able to lay back because he's there so he got away with that downstairs he doesn't go away without up here but he got away over there anyway and so she was leaning against him but sort of sitting on the edge of the chair talking to me and we were talking for a while and then one of us I don't remember which one probably I think it was her she said where's Vinnie I said what do you mean I haven't heard
him or seen him for about half an hour if not longer so we start calling him because I think he's in the garden as he escaped as he dug a hole why would he do that he wouldn't want to escape he loves it there you know if anything he'd covered the whole place in concrete so that I don't know why would you do that make a car park I don't know like I say so that he can never escape within that make no sense with it if you didn't want to
escape then he wouldn't need to do that he just wouldn't escape unless he had no control over his urges to escape but he doesn't have like the other big dog Loki he he just has an urge to run off he's an escape artist and he's run off twice since I've had him but he did come back twice which is good but I've told him if he runs off again that's it he's just he's gonna have to just you know because the thing that the practice last time when he went well
not last time but because he ran away four times in that week the like two weeks ago four times in one week which is ridiculous and he's never done that before he just really just had an urge to get out and there was a point where I was saying my lower back's a bit achy I've got arthritis in my lower back you're seeing this oh I don't know if it's the walking I've done or if it's the cold or if this is sitting in this chair or if it's just the
arthritis maybe I don't know I don't really care it's just it's weird when something's been coming on for so long I've had this since my we're talking middle 90s this started started having aches in my lower back and I even used to go to get massages in the late 90s because of my back to try and kind of ease it a little bit because it was irritating but not not enough but just enough you know I mean just a bit and yeah over the last 20 odd years it's progressed but
that's alright well it's not alright cuz you're talking about it obviously you're moaning yeah you're moaning again I'm not moaning I'm just explaining what's going on I mean I took the light bulb out look don't worry I'm going somewhere with this I took the light bulb out the light bulb's sitting I'm not moaning if I say that it doesn't mean I'm moaning that I've got no light I just let you know that I took the light bulb out because it hasn't worked for probably three years when I put it in
and it's a smart light bulb it's supposed to last forever well you know for a while anyway and it didn't so I need to get myself another light bulb so that's another Amazon order I'm gonna have to do but and nor have enough cash to do it yet so I'll wait till next week but I've got other lamps in there that I've been using for ages for lights so when I do finally get that light bulb in it's gonna seem strange so I haven't had it there for over a year
probably over a year I reckon must be over a year yeah gotta be so I haven't had these lamps for a huge amount of time it's the lamps the lights I've got there for filming videos so I've got them probably a couple of years ago maybe less time ago left huh what other things yeah so that's what's going on now oh yeah where's Vinnie she said I haven't seen him she said I haven't heard she said so we started calling him I went into the garden and she called him and
he came running in from the hallway so he'd been in the bedroom which is weird like why is it been so quiet so we just said hello to him and everything and then he ran off again they were talking like she said I wonder where he is he's gone again so she went to see him and she she didn't scream but she made a noise as of exclamation come and see this she said no I said so come on you can't have a look at this come look at my bedroom
I said no I'm not falling for that trick I will not be seduced she said no you weirdo look as I get up and I go in there and there's a dead pigeon on the floor now I said why is there a dead pigeon on the floor she said but it wasn't there earlier I said well nothing's there earlier isn't everything there's always a time before something's there and how far back do you want to go caveman days or cave people days she said you're weird just getting weirder I said
no no it's been a very strange two weeks and she said that wasn't there earlier I said how earlier she said well before you got it it wasn't there I said are you sure she said I probably would have noticed it yeah a dead bird on my floor with feathers all over the carpet as it been plucked kind of and I thought oh so I was at this point I was holding Vinnie because I picked him up I let him down and he went over and continued to sniff and the
bird so it wasn't the first time he'd seen that bird let's say you know he he'd clearly been the one plucking the thing now we wondered dear is he the one that's hunted the bird and we came to the conclusion that probably not the place is full of cats including their own cat but also there's there's cats that leave stuff in a garden all the time and apparently there's a cat a neighbor's cat that hunts things and then her cat steals it and brings it in pretending that she's actually hunted
it very sneaky cats never trust a cat and she had a mouse found a mouse on my bed the other day but cat just brought it in like come on that's grim so what I don't get is how did Vinnie let's say he picked it up from the garden yeah and it was already gone but he picked it up how did he manage to walk through the living room without us seeing him that's weird I think and how come he didn't make a single sound when he was doing whatever he
was doing in there wooing the bird whatever he was like didn't make nothing and as you can hear from the sound he's not always the quietest little monkey he knows I'm talking about him he does he probably wants some food god did I say I shouldn't have said that loud he knows I think he knows that word I think so that was really weird I think I had to get it in a used a poop bag to pick it up and got it took it away I'm not really I really
hope that he just found on the floor because the idea of the alternative to that does not fill me with Christmas glee as it were I've told him he's chased birds before and I've told him that I'm a bird lover I just looked him in the eyes and said don't ever ever ever hurt a bird because I like birds more than like dogs I love birds I got a real I just do I just love love the sound of them love seeing them flying love seeing everything about them wouldn't want
to live in one of their nests will you move move it away from the metal please good boy I can't believe how noisy is really really move go get away beginning that's it take over there good girl you know oh he's picked it up and he's now put it he's put it back exactly the same place he had it before I can't there's nothing I can do about it I don't want to put him into the bedroom I used to do that I've done it a few quite a few times
in the past but since Logie's been here Vinnie hasn't hassled me hardly at all when I've made podcasts before it was every single time pretty much now he's seen this almost content or maybe distracted I don't know I mean he he has got a bone to chew on down there so that is what I would normally try and give him to take his mind elsewhere but he already had on the floor so that doesn't normally do the trick you know something that he already has doesn't normally distract him from me
talking into this microphone it's weird so today really I had a late night last night which I don't normally do but I was around a neighbor's house till blimey half 11 or something maybe 11 o'clock which is not normal for me and when we got back I was hungry so I had to have something to eat which meant I didn't go to bed till half 12 which meant I didn't get up till about I think I was eating my breakfast at 8 o'clock this morning which is a lot later than
normal very often I'm having my breakfast at sometimes 4 or 5 in the morning so 8 in the morning was a much later a later time and it's two days in a row that I've done that I think I woke up at 7 o'clock the day before as well but I think or I might have been talking to that same person so I need to be careful because I don't want to get out of my habit of early nights and early rise I like kind of like that kind of kind yeah yeah I do.
Do I? Was it Friday? Oh yeah okay yeah yeah I like to I don't necessarily I mean there's been times when I've gone to bed at half seven which is just a little bit too early for someone over the age of like I don't know four years old but I yeah it's a little bit early but I think nine ten o'clock is a fairly good time to go to bed again if you if you're under the age of eleven but yeah it's just it suits me I quite like to go to bed about ten and
then I'll get up wake up at whatever time I wake up although sometimes I get up and it's way too early and I'll think well I'm up now I'm up I might as well just get up because I'm up and then I sit down and I think or I'll just let's go through the statistics of the websites although at the moment they're not working properly so I don't even bother but you know I might go and let's do something on the website or whatever whatever whatever whatever and I will just
sit here and just fall asleep and I think perhaps I should have stayed in bed but I can't face the journey a big long journey all the way from this chair to across the living room and into the hallway and then traveling down the hallway and turning right and traveling into the bedroom and and turning left and the navigation of figuring out where the dogs are so that I don't sit on them knowing that if I turn the light on it's probably gonna disturb them if I leave the light off
I might sit on them which will possibly disturb them or worse I mean it'll disturb Logie possibly he might not feel it Vinnie he's so little I mean I do wonder sometimes what if I roll over on him but he's got this thing where he when I'm facing the wall with my back to him he lays against my back which means I can't roll over I can't roll over I mean I could I suppose but he's he's not flat because he's on his side as well and I went to roll
over and I'm like oh I should be rolling on him so I won't do that he was fast asleep this is when I woke up so he must have stayed there all night just pressed against my back which is good because I do need to stay on my side really not not all the time not 24 hours a day but you know I'm asleep I'm asleep I'm asleep I'm asleep what else has happened today not much really and yeah not a lot really just went outside and saw a couple of
saw a neighbor like the two dogs of me so I was gonna put them in the garden so they could have a little run around and a poo and a wee and then I thought I'll just go and say hello to one of my neighbors because she's collecting a kid from school and the kid loves Logie and Vinnie and so she agrees we've got a little chat in and that and she had some of her friends come over and talk to her and it seemed like one of them is really
giving me some horrible looks it's weird it's like you know when people can't hold in what they're thinking they can't like the expression is on their face it's almost like a look of disgust towards it might be towards me it might be towards my hat I don't know I mean sometimes I look in the mirror and I get I get very annoyed with my hat I don't get disgusted but I do get angry it's a very anger invoking hat and my shoes sometimes my shoes make me nostalgic so that's the
emotion that comes up there I mean some people may argue that nostalgia isn't actually an emotion but I would say that maybe kind of is it's a mixture of emotions and it's not just which is the memory no but that's just remembering something you know nostalgia is almost having a certain experiential feeling the experience thing you know I mean I don't know why I did so poorly at school I'm clearly I'm clearly a master of the English words speaking thing so I what else just started thinking of it one of
the schools I went to when I was a kid it's got nothing to do with this but just for some reason that's where my mind went and I start thinking that the road by yeah it was because I went to this school called Langer school and it was in Langer Road which is a very I would say possibly the longest road in the town very very long road not not compared to Texas or you know somewhere with a really really long like miles and miles but the road is long you
know you can just you probably couldn't hop on one leg the whole way why would you want to but you know I mean is if you were just gonna roll you probably wouldn't want to roll the whole way you'd start thinking oh I wish I hadn't started this now I don't know why did this decide to roll from one end of this road to the other what possible benefits to myself or the world could there be me to do this but maybe someone might enjoy rolling we all have our thing
don't we all ever our pleasure in life some people like to go on holiday here some people like to be in love and spend time with their loved ones or their children or family or like to build something like to create something be artistic now what people like to roll down long roads it's everyone's you know different different for everyone that's just the same way of saying the same thing twice I mean everyone is we're kind of similar but different away well we've all got things in common I guess you
know even if it's just a physical thing but I'm looking forward this is what I'm looking forward to I'm looking forward to a few things and especially when it comes to AI now I'm looking forward to when AI has got to a point where it can cure things you know that or incorrect physical issues for people it's already able to do some of that stuff now but human experiments that's probably not the right word but it is starting to take place I say it's starting I bet it's been taking place
for a long time but you know not legally and I'm not saying that any one person has been doing it illegal I'm just saying I reckon even if it's just on themselves because I know for I'm pretty sure for a fact it's not really company so I'm pretty sure for a fact but Elon Musk has tested some of his AI equipment his robotic stuff on himself but he's allowed to do that because it's his stuff he doesn't have to get permission from a medical board I don't reckon in order for
him to test out his neuro neuro link thing so which basically plugs into your brain and you can start controlling things controlling computers and you know just things like that so I think one of the main uses for it from a medical perspective is to help somebody that is somebody be able to move that has not been able to move you know be able to activate parts of the brain that have not been usable help people to see that have been perhaps born blind there's there's some amazing technology coming I
think it's exciting I don't I don't see any negative to it I know there's you know the internet loves to and the news loves to go down that road but it's I think phenomenal I think up to me it's the most exciting thing that's happened in my lifetime now computers computers were around before I was born but not home computers not laptops mobile phones things like that they weren't around when I was born until I you know much later even that stuff to me is not even it's not even scratching
the surface compared to what is gonna come and what has already come is phenomenal already and things that we can already do is just it is amazing I think it's exciting and it's different ways of looking at it I just I can only I can only really see it from an exciting perspective and the idea that someone can have a new lease of life by just having a simple procedure may you know that that just is phenomenal and with the AI the way it moves I've got an example it was
a video I was watching it was an example of when whilst searching searching for patterns which would then lead to perhaps an antidote or a cure or medication for a condition I mean a physical maybe maybe mental condition now the research takes years and years and years and years and years to a point where finally there's an antidote I mean look how many years it took before not ferret bites not flea bites mosquitoes so they've now got I think two vaccines have come out for mosquitoes and it's taken well hundreds
of years isn't it really mosquitoes have been one of the biggest causes of horrible things for generations around the world not in this country but around the world and now there's a cure there's a there's a what's it an antidote or vaccine or I don't know whatever is this too apparently came out pretty much the same time and that took let's say the studying of it should we say a hundred years because I probably weren't able to even consider it maybe 50 years even 70 years but it's not it's been
a long time in our lives you know and all that testing and retesting and retesting and looking for patterns and you know searching and all that well they did a thing where it was kind of it wasn't for that but it was a to find a solution for a problem and they found the solution within I think I think it took two weeks to find a solution by using AI to go over and over and over and recheck lots of different ways of doing something until they found a solution to
do it it took two weeks or something so it's a long time or what that was in in reality the amount of times the multiple billions of tests that were done over and over and over and over again it would have taken like 10,000 years so 10,000 years would have taken to come up with what they did in two weeks because they can keep going over and over and it's 24 hours a day and they can do it you know hundreds and per second or ever thousands a second until they
come up with a solution with an answer now that is exciting because you think if you gave blood samples of every single human being that had and then just started you know who maybe has say diabetes for example and then just get AI and get AI to research into it and you know it'd have to be steered into what they're looking for but they might find might find something in common it might be something really that no one's even thought about that is affecting it you know something as obscure as
underpants being too tight or people who wear tight socks or people who wear woolly socks I know I'm just and it sounds facetious and I don't use that word but I'm not mocking I'm just saying that there might be something so of course it's not going to be anything like that but it could be a lot of food something just a very very small genetic thing I mean there's I'm sure they know they probably think they know the cause and they know everything about well no one knows everything about anything
but imagine two weeks of work 10,000 years diabetes is what being researched for how long 100 years maybe maybe maybe more maybe less so we've got to where we are after 100 years imagine where we would be after 10,000 years of researching which will be the equivalent within two weeks let's say that's phenomenal and if you start expanding that out to all kinds of situations and problem-solving such as space travel and lots of different things is mapping the brain that's something that really interests me and I'd be up for being
if it was a proper proper like experiment and stuff I'd love to be involved in some kind of trial legitimate trial you know with Elon Musk or something and to scan the brain I see get everyone with bipolar to get their brains scanned and see what's in common what's different from people that don't have bipolar or a mood disorder you know just like that just scan everyone in order to find out what the anomalies are and what the similarities are and testing everyone's blood and stuff I don't know I know
some people say now I don't want my blood on file people might realize I'm a vampire you know but it's just I think it's exciting stuff I mean the amount of people that say oh I don't want my I don't want facial recognition they don't like that I don't want to have my fingerprints on file well have you ever traveled recently if you go through an airport international traveling I don't know if it's every country but the places I've been to they take your fingerprints they take your whatever your eyes
are they they've they photograph your eyes so that you have to look through and prove prove it's yourself I guess facial recognition or whatever but they take your fingerprints now that's then on an international file isn't it not just local not just in your country and I remember years ago I and I didn't think much of it but we had the police might have to exit that out don't know how loud it was exit it delete it but I don't remember what I was saying but I just think it's exciting
stuff just really oh yeah the police came around when I was at school or did we go to them right gone to the police station but they took our fingerprints just to showing us what they do with you know when people get arrested I'm wondering did they just do that so that our fingerprints were on file for future reference but then you know in a way I'm thinking well surely everyone should be fingerprinted anyway that's controversial for some reason why not I wouldn't care is I thought you'd think that would
be kind of normal thing when you're so just as a there was a thing where the government years ago we're gonna do an ID card here and then they they got so much flack I think they did one but then they didn't kind of enforce it it was gonna be an enforced thing but then they back down the government back down is my memory of it I like to say that just in case it never happened never you might not just might have imagined it but I never really saw an
issue with that because if you've got a credit card or debit card or bank account store card passport driving license bus pass and doctors you know if you're joined a doctor surgery or dental practice or if you've ever been to hospital or ever called an ambulance or the police ever been to school ever had a job and paid tax we are already on fire we're already known everybody is known it's you know there's a trail of who people are it's not like we're hidden I mean I it must be very
difficult to try and live a life where you're off-grid completely I don't know how it would be done never tried to do it but to be completely off-grid so there's no trail there's no I mean there would be a trail because every time you go out maybe not around here but well more so actually now because of mobile phones and those phones on people's doors that the camera camera doorbells there's a lot of them about now so and people have cameras in their cars a lot of people so pretty much
every time you go out you're on camera but you can't really avoid it as well as all the government cameras are around and people have cameras and quite a few people have cameras on their houses as well so yeah it's motorbikes bicycles that's without those hiding in bushes so it's like I don't always hide in bushes but yeah it's it's a you know all I'm saying is we're on camera we're on camera that's what I'm trying to say in it you know I mean that's all I'm trying to say oh
wow oh tired so tired I am I won't lie I like to lie but on this occasion I won't I really won't no I'll try not to if you don't mind I'm gonna try not to lie I love lying it's my favorite thing in the whole wide world okay KKK PayPal payment animal 50 animal food us 1 2 1 1 100 200 nearly 270 pound in one day crazy so the animal yes my insurance is 63 pound 58 a month for Vinnie went out today and the food I spent 69
69 and then I spent 32 pound 95 on his on Logie's mouth face thing I paid a hundred pounds to credit card Wow that's brilliant oh yeah so I'll be working on my website slowly I'm not be working slowly on it but it's a very slow process because it's it's just slow it's I don't know how better to say it rather than just repeating myself like I've been doing it's very very slow tedious possibly monotonous definitely at times because a lot of it is just copying and pasting moving one link
or one embedded code onto another page and so on and then matching them up aligning everything so it works and is yeah it takes takes time is what I'm trying to say why did you say it takes time I'm not sure but that pretty much is me so thank you very much very very full yeah I've got boxing at the weekend so I think they might be boxing early hours of tomorrow morning which means I'll be getting up early which means I might be going to bed now now because it's
now three minutes to 9 p.m. which means I won't be editing or releasing this podcast till tomorrow even though I recorded it today so I'm gonna go away thank you for listening remember remember to be kind to yourself you do deserve to be happy be gentle with yourself lots of love I feel like I'm making this recording like in fraggle rock and there's always background stuff going on almost like buildings being built but it's mini underneath the table I don't know why it sounds well it probably doesn't sound anything like
a building being built but it sounds a bit like fraggle rock building a building and the fraggles coming around it's eating there must be annoying those little workers making the roads and the buildings and fraggles come along just to eat everything never seen to complain hmm take care bye let the music play going for another day it's today today did the down at fraggle rock the trash heap has spoken
