Hello and welcome to Let Me Bore You To Sleep. My name is So I'm doing this a little bit later than I did it yesterday. That's okay.

I've been busy today. Just wanted to say a big thank you to Emil for your PayPal gift. Thank you.

So that's Emil. Thank you very much. I really appreciate that.

And also, oh, yeah, I've got I've got a blog now on my website. And it's, it wasn't really supposed to be a blog, really, it was just a thing. If you know, I mean, a thing that I started to do.

I've called it Dear Luke. And it's in the it's basically jasonnewland.com. That's my website. So you've got the it's in the menu or whatever.

As called Dear Luke. So basically, what is started out as I've now done three, three entries or four, four entries is just kind of keeping a conversation going with my friend Luke, that's no longer here. He was my friend that lived downstairs, known him for nearly nine years.

And he's now been gone for seven weeks, his funeral was last Friday. And I just I don't know why, because we used to have these I want to talk about Luke today. Okay, so it's not going to be it's not going to be depressing or miserable or anything like that.

Okay, so I'm just gonna just tell you a little bit about him. And I won't go into any personal details, just just talk about him a little bit. Because I've kind of been talking about him for years without realizing I was doing so.

I never ever said his name. And I would, you know, I've had some messages over the last few weeks of people saying that and they enjoyed hearing about him and they almost felt like they knew him because I was talking about him a lot. And I didn't realize I was.

But I guess out of all the 1063 recordings I've made, he's been in the picture the whole time. So he's been downstairs the whole time that I've been making these particular podcasts. And I think I started these in I think it was February 2018.

I think I'd have to have to go back and look at that. But I think it was I think it was 2018. Was it February? Anyone? Anyone? Any idea? Any idea? I don't know.

So look, I should be able to find out is it have I got number Oh, yeah, I have one to 150. So no hasn't got the date there. One to 150.

I wonder I might have it if I go into the I've done this before. The thing is, because all my podcasts got messed up, and I lost some podcasts and got stuff deleted and all this stuff a few months ago. August I think it was.

I've lost the dates of a lot of stuff, which was a little bit a little bit annoying. So I don't know what because on the original podcast, I've had it the whole time. And I had the dates on not only the dates written down, but also the date was uploaded because the date was produced.

Blah, blah, blah, now I'm slurring brilliant. So let's have a look if I can find it. What's it called? Let Me Bore You To Sleep.

Let Me Bore You To Sleep. I wonder there might be one. Oh, nope.

Let me bore your pain away. That's a different one. Similar, but not similar.

151 one. Oh, man. Anyway, so I'll just for I'll just have a quick look, see if I can find the date.

I'm pretty sure. Pretty sure it was the beginning of beginning of 2018. Oh, okay, I've got the date here.

Blimey. 27th of March 2018. That was the very first one.

And then it says here the second one was the 28th of March. Okay, so 27th. Second one was 28th.

Third was the 29th. Fourth was the 30th of March 2018. Fifth, second of April.

Third, fourth, fifth, seven, eight, nine, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16, 17, 20, 23rd, 24. So there's always been gaps. Maybe not as long as of a gap that there has been lately.

Let's have a drink of water. I remember I don't know why every time I drink water when I make a recording, I just always get reminded. I did this podcast I had a chest infection.

There was this was back in 2000. And we will know. Yeah, 2012.

I moved into this little room. And I bought this chair. Now, I don't know it was a second hand chair from the heart foundation shop.

And it was quite comfortable. I'm gonna sneeze now. I'm just imagining how dusty it was.

And now it's making me want to sneeze. And now Vinnie's whining at me. But I'll ignore him.

And the I got this chair. And it's probably wasn't related to the chair. But I thought it was at the time until I realized that there was mold on the walls.

That was covered up by paint. I developed a chest infection. And it was about a few over the years.

It's just one of those things. But this was particularly unhelpful. And I had one day during that period when I really wanted to make a recording wants to make a video, relaxation video, I think was something like that.

And I wasn't sure whether or not I could do it because of the coughing. But I felt almost like I'd be okay. And I managed to do it.

But halfway through and this this recording lasted for about an hour. And it lasted Yeah, so at halfway through, I needed to drink some water. In fact, I might drink water a few times just to keep my throat.

You know, damp, like the wolves. And somebody commented how horrible it was to hear me drinking water. While I was how it was like the worst thing in the world to hear me drink water whilst making a recording or making a video.

Wow. If hearing me drinking water during a relaxation video on YouTube is the worst thing in the world for you, then you're very, very lucky person. You're very fortunate.

Wow. That's the worst thing you've needed to deal with today. You're extremely lucky.

Anyway, so I don't know why I just whenever I drink water, I'd kind of remind myself of that for some reason. I don't know why. And tell me does it sound weird? I'm gonna drink some water now.

Nothing weird about that was there? I've literally spilled water all over myself. Wow. Blimey, I didn't know I was gonna do that.

Oh, anyway, um, it's gone over my glasses. So yeah, um, that was it. That was the whole story.

So I've got this vlog, this blog, rather, it's just a written blog on my website. And it's called Dear Luke. I do say the odd swear word and maybe make the odd rude comment and maybe tell some jokes and stupid things like that.

So maybe some of the things that I might write down, I wouldn't necessarily say in a podcast episode. Yeah, so but it's not like, it's not filth and profanity. What's burped then? I just mouth farted.

It's not complete like, effing and blinding. I don't know what the blinding means. But yeah, it's more just, it's kind of like having a catch up with Luke just like right mate, how you doing? Guess what happened today? It's pretty much what I would normally have told him.

So a lot of it will be very, very, very mundane, pointless even. And I'm okay with that. I'm at peace with that.

I very much am. Very, very, very much so. Oh, yes.

So 27th of March 2018 1920 2122 2324. So six years in a couple of months. Blimey.

That's quite a long time, isn't it? Last year, I was very surprised. I didn't realize that I didn't produce a huge amount of recordings last year, compared to an average year. I don't know how many I did.

But I didn't do a lot. I mean, there's no way that I did one a day. And I'm talking spread over the different podcasts I do.

I didn't even do one a day. Maybe I did 300 recordings last year, maybe less even spread over the whole thing. And that that doesn't include the different versions of the recordings, you know, with the background music and five hours and 10 hours and all that stuff.

So it was a pretty quiet year. And I'm guessing the year before. Maybe also, I don't know, I've not really looked into it.

I've not got a list of dates to be honest with you. So noisy. So what I've been doing, though, is I have worked on my still continue to work on the website.

And I've started to put together so for example, I'm on page, well, I'm on the Let Me Boyd Asleep 1059. So I've done the others up and working my way down. Just to sort of put in the name of the website, the name of the podcast, and then the dates.

And then there's a join Jason Newland's boring group link there. So you can click if you want to join the group. And it's a private group for you, anyone that's really into what I do into this, you know, welcome to join.

And if you'd like to support this free service, please click here. And there's a link to the PayPal page. And then underneath that, there are four players, which will give you each of the recordings, you know, the one without music, with music five and 10 hours.

And then underneath that there is information about the music that's being played. And the license under Creative Commons, Commons, copyright stuff there, because it is this music is copyright free. And the information is in there.

So that's all there. So I'm just trying to fill all that information in because I've been changing the website around. Right, so Vinnie started barking.

So annoying sometimes. I started doing this recording straight away. He's barking and there's someone at the door wanting to know anyway.

And then just now he's barking again, like just stop it. Oh, I forgot to tell you, did I tell you this yet? Logie is not being taken now. The person who was going to take Logie said that they weren't able to have him.

So he's, he's with me now. So I don't know how long for but that fell through and now he's with me. So I really don't know what's going to happen.

I just don't know. I mean, I just don't know. So today I had to, I had to order food.

Because it all ran out of food, but literally, given them the last bit of food, packet food, dry food ran out yesterday. And I ordered some food today. And just one of quite a big pack 12 kilos of 12 kilos of dry food was how much was it? Let me have a look.

Let me have a look I can tell you. Orders, your orders. Okay, what is that? Oh, no, that's not the one.

My orders. Right. So I spent what did I spend 80 items in your order 17.

So all I got right is Weetabix two box of Weetabix, one box of ready brick, two boxes of bite sized shredded wheat, one packet of still natural mineral mineral water. Cravendale semi skim milk, one liter. So eight of them.

Dried mixed fruit, one packet. So I have that on my ready brick. Morrison's eclairs £1.99. So chocolate eclairs, light with cream.

The only indulgence out of the lot. Harrington's adult rich in turkey with veg 12 kilograms. That was the dry food £30 and then win a lot small dog wet food pouches mixed in gravy £15.60. So it's 3045.

So 45 pounds over half the amount that I spent went on basically dog food £82.73 it came to. So out of that I got breakfast cereal and some milk, pretty much and some chocolate eclairs, which I must admit I yummy. So yeah, so I've gotten dog food in that but it's expensive.

It's mad. And the good thing about these ones is they're they're a bit smaller than the ones I've got before, which means Vinnie can eat them as well. So that's quite good.

So yeah, so that's that's what I did today. Got them delivered. And which was lucky because I've been waiting to hear from the person that was going to take Vinnie Logie in.

And she she's like wasn't sure she just sort of asked me just to wait a little bit so I said fine. But by this morning when I woke up I needed to I just didn't have any food for him. So I ordered the food I didn't have I think I had four packets of wet food.

So I gave that to both of them for the morning and then the delivery came just after two o'clock. So then I sort of gave them food when they got back. So I took them out for a little while.

And it was lucky I did because lucky I ordered the food because I am going to need it. So yeah, that's it really. So I've got I've got him and it's I guess it is what it is.

He needs to sleep on the floor while he's laying down on the floor near my feet. Logie I don't know where he is. He's not in here.

He's either lying down in the hallway or he's on the bed or he's laying down next to the bed. Not quite sure why he's doing that but he normally stays in a room with me but maybe he's him and Vinnie have fallen out had an argument. Maybe Logie owes Vinnie money when he's hiding.

Who knows? Imagine dogs owing each other money. You wouldn't owe someone money that has teeth that sharp would you? Calm yourself down mate. Just calm yourself calm yourself down.

That's enough. That's enough. No more.

Really winds me up his barking. The one the only thing that really annoys me about him is he's like a I've talked about this before. He's like a wind-up toy.

He just can't stop once he starts. He's like a vibrating thing. Yeah so that's it really.

So as far as the food goes Logie's with me. I don't know what to do next to be honest with you. I really don't know.

I just I just don't know. I just don't know. I don't know what to do.

Anyway I'm just gonna continue the way I have been for I mean I've had him for nearly eight weeks now. Be eight weeks and two days in in two days time. So a few more weeks isn't really gonna make much difference to and then yeah then we'll see.

So yeah I've been working on the website trying to tidy it up. Make it a little bit nicer because I've been put a fair bit of energy into it and I figure it's it should be a place where people can visit to if they choose to download all of the recordings of a particular episode. You know the one with music without five and ten hours all in one go if you want.

Or you can play the recording or stream a recording from my website if that makes it a little bit easier. So and there's no adverts on the podcasts either. So that's that's good for the listeners and it's just yeah it's just pretty much the same as before me waffling on about stuff and then the recording comes to an end and we all go our separate ways realizing we're never going to get that time back never ever again.

So is this number 100 1060 something I don't know 1060. You hear he still wants to bark doesn't he if you notice that still wants to it's just he can't stop himself he's like but I want to bark 1063 so yesterday that's yesterday's one a new future and yeah so this one is 1064 I've worked that out without a calculator I'm ever so pleased with myself see what else is going on not much I haven't had much in the way of phone calls which is okay and messages any messages it's just bills just bills bills bills bills bills I've got today

I paid a hundred pound on my credit card and then I paid right here we go again dog keeps barking I have to close the windows and it's a little bit stifling in the mouth I've got the heating on which you kind of need to have because it's very cold outside but it gets a little bit stuffy at times especially with well yeah Logie likes to produce his own individual smell if you know what I mean which sucks the oxygen out of the room but there you go so yeah this

morning I paid 100 pound off my credit card 98 pound off of the catalogue and 88 pound or 82 pound was it for the for the um what's it's food food delivery so it's been quite an expensive day yes and uh with the catalogue another catalogue with the god blimey you know what happened right I got a pay as you go buy now pay later with the catalogue and I bought this laptop because I needed a laptop basically it's really that simple and provided I paid the amount by a certain

date there'd be no interest well due to an assortment of things happening and people needing help and draining me of whatever I had I wasn't able to pay it off and so I ended up being short uh I think I had 800 pound left to pay which is so well still quite a lot but the day after I missed the target it went up to about 1400 so 8 was that 9 10 11 12 13 it went up so I actually did instead of being 800 600 pound more in interest

because I hadn't paid it so I managed to get it down now it says and it's 1299 93 left that uh to pay off I paid 100 today so it should be 11 99 so it's 12 so hopefully by the end of the year by the end of the year it should be paid off near it near enough just thinking it's first first month of the year 12 months so yeah by the end of the year that should be paid off the credit card blimey I shouldn't really tell you this

stuff hey why not the credit card is I've got a balance 3441 pounds 75 that's how much I owe on the credit card and I called them up a few months ago and said look because the the interest was going up every month or the amount the interest was making the amount I owed go up by quite a considerable amount so I called them up and said please please please please please if you can hear that the the desk is shaking Logie's pressed up against the desk and the microphone is

shaking so I hope it's not distorting the sound um yeah so I've called them up and said look please please please please please can we do something about the payments because I can't afford it going up by 30 40 50 pound every month there's going to come a time well there was a time then that I couldn't afford the payment and they agreed for me to pay 100 pound a month and to stop the interest so I I that was good so basically I've been doing that for six months it

says I've got available to spend 658 pound but as far as I was aware I'm not allowed to use the card I haven't so I'm just gonna as soon as it's paid off I will I guess just that'll be the end of it they're gonna review it they said after six months so they're gonna call me they said and to see whether or not I can pay any more but 100 pounds quite a lot so current balance three thousand four hundred so how long will that how long will that take

let's let me just work it out three three three four four one I've got a calculator here I know most people probably could work it out but I can't be bothered three four four one three four four one three four four one here we go come on all right three four four one divided by 100 344 months so how many months is 344 months how many years is that divide that by divide that by 12 so 4129 years I think I might made a mistake there somewhere okay it's a 3441

3441 this recording may not be available to listen to today because it's gonna take forever to edit because the dogs keep barking well the little one does it's very annoying really really annoying anyway I've closed the front door like the living room door so hopefully I've given him a bone to chew on so hopefully he'll shut up now for a bit apart from the noise of him chewing on the bone so I got no idea what I was talking about okay yeah that's it I can't isn't it weird considering I've

got a dog that yaps I hate his sound of him barking isn't it weird really don't like it it's so high pitched makes me feel ill I don't like it it's like really really high pitched and it and really it oh man proper annoys me sometimes I love him but that high pitch bark is over nothing I don't mind it if there's someone at the door fine but one percent of the time well okay that's probably exaggerating I'd say probably 20% of the time there's actually someone at the door when

he's barking maybe 10% seriously he barks every time the neighbor opposite leaves his is flat opens the door he barks every time someone comes up the stairs he barks every time the post person delivers he barks every time someone opens the front door downstairs he barks he barks at cats in the garden he barks at ladybirds in the sky he doesn't but just you know generally annoying 3441 and and divide this by oh shut up oh wrong one 3441 3441 divided by 100 divided by 100 equals 30 blimey 34 months

is going to take that was quite easy to work out already wasn't it 341 34 340 34 okay fair enough okay fair enough divide that by 12 2.8 years so what will be 20 2024 2025 2026 so I'll be wow I'll be 56 I'm 53 now I'll be 56 before that credit card's paid off blimey anyway so that's I'm hoping that they're not going to phone up and say no we decided we're going to take more we need more they did they did threaten me actually they not threaten me but

they did say there is a chance that we will sell the debt on to a private company who will then send bailiffs that's you know take me to court and all that crap so and I said please don't they said but we might I said please don't they said it's out of our hands we don't I said please please so just have to wait and see what happens there and yeah just see what happens so what's this oh blimey kelly kelly kelly this is on my Facebook blimey who's kelly um

she looks familiar so this is the this is on um Facebook Facebook uh dating um one of a kind fun loving and very affectionate very positive and love life and love life looking for my best friend that I fancy the pants off to make great memories with if you think that could be you say hi hmm I was all right until then so I just fancy the pants off me I don't think I've ever met anyone that fancied the pants off me I've met women in the past that could look

past how I look it's almost we could tolerate your looks we could tolerate how you are because maybe they liked me as a person and but I don't think you know I don't anyone sort of seen me and thought wow oh pretty sure that's not happened it's uh I'm not happy about it but hey there you go never mind I don't know why I'm getting these messages because I don't really use dating apps well clearly I do but you know I remember years ago oh this is weird I you know

what I don't understand and I've never seen a man do this I'm sure men do but I don't know if they do or not I've never seen a man online be able to take like 20 different pictures and each picture makes them look different like a different person like completely different I don't know how people manage to do it I mean I just look my big pink face and oh okay I'll stop looking at that and yeah I just uh there's not a lot I can do really I'm a little

bit stuck with this thing and to make it worse I've got a picture up there on my bookcase a picture of me and my Nan from 2004 and two people within two days have said well one said oh you look ever so handsome there us and the other one said yeah you look very different from the way you did so one said I looked handsome and the second female looked at the picture and said yeah you look nothing like that anymore okay that's nice the weird thing about it is at

the time I felt old blimey Logie just made the weirdest noise Logie's making some very strange noises it's upsetting Vinnie that's weird just started like gasping or something I don't know Logie you okay mate calm yourself down Vinnie okay it's all right carry on as you were just make sure you're okay yeah Vinnie was all concerned about him he even stopped chewing his bone for a second and it takes a lot to get him away from his bone by the way when I say chewing his bone it's not a euphemism

it literally is a bone thing that he's chewing although you know he does like to give attention to the other thing so yeah I I I I I was talking about something and I've forgotten now because Logie was making some weird noises I wonder what was I talking about I don't know no completely gone that's why I don't like being distracted that's why I don't really want other people or these these kids in my room you know these children Logie and Vinnie because it distracts me from what I'm doing and

best within the world I'm probably not the most focused when it comes to making these recordings I don't I mean I don't always not always stick to the subject not always sometimes I might go off track just a tiny little bit just a hmm small bit so whatever I was talking about that's gone I don't know what it was it must have been something but I don't know what so I still didn't end up talking about Luke so I'll do that another time so what else is going on I am

I got woken up exactly the same way as the night before this morning got woken up by both of them staring at me and this was at I don't know 10 to 3 10 to 2 o'clock half to that it was I don't know it was too early quarter past two something like that so I got up did a wee wee and then walked into the bathroom into the toilet and had a look in the mirror and I thought I need to clean that carpet in the bedroom it's getting really

smelly and then I thought I don't know if I can be bothered to go back to bed because they were just following me as soon as I got up they wanted to go out they were walking to the front door so I thought okay here we go took him downstairs took him in the garden and I don't let Vinnie off the lead when we're in the garden generally especially at night because all he wants to do is go over and see into the other building that's all he wants to do

even scratches at the door he wants to get in there Logie on the other hand makes use of that time in the garden to go to the toilet now if I keep Vinnie on the lead eventually he will go to the toilet he just needs a bit of time sometimes he needs five ten minutes in order to like remember why he's out there he does make me laugh oh I took both of them around the neighbor's house earlier the neighbor's flat and she's got this garden and they were both running

in and out of it I did a video with them the other day but this time Logie got really excited like proper proper excited more than I've seen him for a long time and he was riding in and out of the kitchen through the hallway through the living room into the garden to the end of the garden and back again all the way into the kitchen well he couldn't stop himself and he ended up slamming into the corner of where the door is didn't hurt himself but he basically it just

ended up banging into it and it was weird it was just fun so funny to watch he didn't hurt himself but he's it's hard for him to hurt himself because he's he's got a skull like concrete it's just he's it's the kind of dog he is he's a very very tough dog I remember we had a neighbor this is a few weeks back had a washing you know stand up washing line things that pull out and you can just hang your washing on like a triangle kind of thing and but

it was I think it was solid solid steel was kind of very very hard metal because it's there all year round so it has to be quite quite well put together being out there for years never a problem Logie ran right into it snapped it in half his nose hit right in basically nose first right into it and he walked away he was shaking his head and sneezing that was it that's all it was didn't hurt himself he just he caused a minor irritation to his nose and he sneezed a

couple of times and then he carried on I mean it's just like wow I'm pretty sure that could have been enough to knock me out if I'd have done the same thing but run full pelt with my weight behind me I'd probably yeah it probably would have been worse for me actually yeah probably I just probably tripped over I might still be there tangled up in the line in fact I'm still there so I'm making this recording please someone come and help me so this is kind of weird not not

weird weird but it's kind of a bit strange to be back making recordings after it just seems ages ages and ages and ages but it hasn't really been is it it's not really been a long long long time but there's just quite a lot happened a fair bit that I can't really talk about but it's just it's been quite a bit just in this week there's been stuff that's uh occurred but I can't as I said really go into but it's it's just it's in life weird it's just it's so

strange such a strange little adventure so you know I started to realize that when I look at the top locations when I look at the stats for the podcasts and you know it says like Birmingham and whatever I'm starting to realize that these because England is such a small country that I don't think they pinpoint the areas correctly because sometimes I log in and it says that I'm in London or that I'm in Surrey or that I'm in Norwich or I'm in like completely different places to where I actually do

live but to them they've got it quite close because it's in the ballpark it's within you a hundred miles or something cut a hundred miles but this country is only about 200 miles wide is it okay Britain Britain width in miles okay let's have a look what is it 300 miles okay I mean I know there's people probably listening to this who do now or maybe have in the past traveled more than 300 miles just to go to work you know it's 300 miles at the United Kingdom at the widest

from the north tip of Scotland to the south and southern coast of England is about what a cross writer for northern okay if you go long wise it's 600 miles okay fair enough so it's 300 kilometers 500 kilometers width and about 1000 kilometers length no yeah and wow it's not very big though is it mind you a thousand kilometers 600 600 miles still it's not a lot when you think it's from the length from Scotland I think is is it johnny oaks johnny johnny oaks oak oak oak lands end lands

end to lands beginning I guess lands beginning to lands end and and that's 600 miles now someone that travels 300 miles to get to work that's you know it's to work and back but then if you're going to travel 300 miles to go to work you need to be doing and that's got to be like traveling there and staying somewhere for the week because you wouldn't be able to do that journey twice a day so it's like even at the 60 miles an hour or even at 100 miles an hour

that's three hours there and three hours back so yeah that wouldn't work so no I think but some people probably maybe travel over 100 miles to get to where they're going which would maybe be like an hour and a half which is I mean there's people there are people thousands if not hundreds of thousands of people around the country that travel to London every day from different parts of the country and maybe they travel 100 miles because from where I live it's roughly it's about 66 miles to London so if

you was to go from Norwich you're probably looking at or yeah over miles to London probably maybe more more than that actually and the 66 miles or whatever it is from here to London is takes about just under an hour sometimes there's the slow train which stops at every single train station it cost possibly can even stops at train stations that haven't been built yet just you know in preparation maybe and contemplation and then so even that only adds about 20 minutes to the journey so it's a it's a pretty

good line but the thing is the thing is the train journey that the trains to London are used so they're so important I guess to the economy and they're so important to people traveling to to London to work to the city and whatever whatever they do is the lines have to be kept tip top which means a lot of maintenance being done during the year at the weekends and then they can only really do it the weekends and during the night which then holds it out for people that are going

to London London for leisure like a nice day out on a Sunday or Saturday now Vinnie's Vinnie's like oh I can't get out the door why is the door closed what's going on it's closed because you keep barking that's why it's closed but I want to go can we go now can I no because it's you keep barking but if I stop barking but you won't you won't stop because well I've stopped now haven't I yeah I know you stop now but as soon as I open the door you'll hear

sounds and you'll start barking again and it'll be so high pitched and my ears will just be screaming for help so please stop please just leave me alone until we finish the recording and then we can all go back to our normal routine I'll open the door you can go and do what you want in the bedroom if you want to Logie can sit the other side of the settee instead of on my chair and then I can sit down probably gonna have myself a chocolate eclair and just relax that's

potentially what I'm thinking of doing and I could do without vinegar whining I don't know why he's never satisfied never satisfied like every single girlfriend anyway but he's he's not he's never satisfied nothing I do is enough it's just not and now he's whining but he's not whining at me he's just sitting in the middle of the sitting room looking at the front door just whining I gave you a bone to chew on why don't you play with that hmm he's just looking at me like there's something wrong with me

like I mean I guess there is but stop judging me Vinnie stop judging me stop it it's not my fault so yeah that's what I've been doing really that's been working on the website the problem with having interaction with other people in real life is time really does go by too quick and it's too much for me to do you know the only thing that gets me out of bed is this stuff I do it's the only thing so I you know I don't not just making the recordings but you

know checking the stats building the websites just all all aspects of it there's quite a lot to it there's quite a lot involved and you know so the whole thing really and it's it's nice to check to see if I've got any messages and and it's just you know the whole thing that's what I get out of bed for every day I think about it when I wake up and I think about when I go to bed it's just the way it is usually provided I haven't got something else that's

uh taken up my energy so I'm planning to I talked about this yesterday I think planning to do some new recordings soon not you know related to this completely different based on certain aspects addictions and things like that so we'll just see we'll just see so I'm trying to think what else has happened today no that's about it really my friend's getting a new kitchen that's good so he's had some really quite a difficult week and suddenly gets a phone call while I'm there saying that the new kitchen that she's

been waiting for for two and a half years from the council they're coming to do it next week it's like wow so you know it's good news does come it's just just about waiting sometimes it's just remembering that both are there aren't they but it's the good and the bad and it's just the good will come so I'm pleased for her she's now got something to look forward to so you know she had a what was it she went to a funeral on Friday crashed a car on Saturday something worse

than both of those on Sunday her dad's in hospital and then thinking that everything's going bad she gets a phone call telling her that something really really beautiful is going to happen and she's getting a new kitchen she's really so she's it doesn't make up for the other stuff but it kind of it just shows the ebb and flow of life really I guess and yeah kind of strange really I'm waiting for something nice to happen please I need to open that window because sometimes I wonder if because it's not

always Logie's farts I sometimes wonder if he's just sucking the sucking the air in through his bum to prepare for the next fart that's where he gets all the gas from it's air from inside the room he sucks it in and then he pushes it out again like a big bubble full of particularly smelly gas so I don't know it's it's just a theory and it's been a while since I studied I was going to say since I studied biology but I never studied biology I did biology at school but

I didn't take any notice of it didn't take any notice of history didn't take any notes of geography it's beginning to sound like a song isn't it don't know much about history don't know much about geography don't know much about the French I took I'll start that made me laugh you know when I was about I don't know nine years old ten years old something like that it's in junior school the year before going to high school and the teachers were trying to teach me French I'm still learning English I

mean it's not it's not like I'd learn English and now we can do a different language I was still learning to do right you know to joined up writing and I mean I could do it but I was still you know I wasn't I hadn't mastered it I might have done I can't remember but I was I was a little bit behind to be honest so why would why would he be trying to teach me a different language this this French teacher I just I just remember right we used to

have these lessons and there'd be a projector and a big white screen and the turn all the lights off and it'd show pictures it's not videos just pictures of French people doing French things well they were just doing things it wasn't French things but they were just you know but there'd be um I think there was an audio that went with the slide unless it was a person speaking I can't remember and they'd just talk about like things like breakfast and then give you the word uh like in French something

like that and croissant I did so I remember I said what's what's croissant in French and there's the well three people laughed I found that I really wasn't interested in learning another language wasn't interested I didn't have much interest in other countries or history or geography or any of that stuff I don't know why because it is actually really interesting different cultures and the history um I mean geography and history are pretty much as far as I'm concerned it's the same subject because history is studying the history of geography the

history of countries geography is the country's history I don't want to tell you this but for me it's it's the same subject it almost has that gray and green feeling and history history is gray and blue geography is gray and gray and green it's almost like gray for like uh boring but green for the trees and the bushes and the wildlife and history for some reason is gray for boring but blue for maybe the castles and not the castles of blue but they're bluish and perhaps the the headgear of the

soldiers and and in reality it might just be the covers of the books that I was given in the first year of high school the geography one was green and the history one was blue perhaps I remember that didn't do history or geography before high school did English tried tried they did try to get us interested in French and that was what was weird it's not weird but what was strange is taught us tried to teach us some French but when I went to high school there was no French lessons

first year no French lessons second year no French lessons third and fourth year I think we could choose to do French if we wanted funny enough I chose not to and they had these the whole lab for French people not for French people but for people learning and these headsets so I guess like an interpreter thing so you could listen and interact and I just I mean my my opinion and it was you know because I was ignorant it's ignorant if an adult says I guess but I was a kid

and I for me I just thought well why doesn't everyone just speak the same language wouldn't that just be easier and I still kind of think that that would be true that I think it would be easier I mean it's there's still going to be miss I know people not really understanding each other and getting the wrong message that's being given misunderstandings that's the word I was looking for miscommunication however it's less likely to happen if the language is the same but I would be willing to if the world chose

a language and everyone stuck to it and for it to be a different language to English I would be happy that'd be I think that'd be a good way of everyone just being able to communicate so if it was decided that Spanish or French or German or whatever Mexican was the language that the whole world is now going to start speaking I would I'd go along with that I wouldn't learn a new language I just wouldn't talk to anyone but you know I'd be happy that other people were getting on

because it's just a really nice thing I would be able to communicate but it's okay I struggle communicating as it is and I I'm around people that have the same language but language isn't everything so much miscommunication it's kind of funny really sometimes but I do wonder why why why why wonder why why why why why she went away oh no wonder my little runaway run run run run run run run away so I yeah I didn't take French as a language just didn't it was too hard I found it

very very complicated I could count from one to 10 in French and then when I went to France which I did in 1989 for about a week counting to 10 wasn't as useful as I thought it would be I thought I'd be able to communicate with everyone I thought I might even end up you know with a girlfriend perhaps get married have kids and everything start a new family a new life in Paris where I was at but it's only so far I can get with one two three four five

six seven eight nine ten yeah my brother could count to 20 I think he got much further than me I think he it helped him a lot but 10 to 10 wasn't enough and as you can probably notice I can't do it anymore and I used to be able to do it off off the top of my head I used to be able to just do it under tar kreps thanksy nesetny nafties something like that it's like blubber now not so much I don't really do the accent I don't know

why I see that in boxing right the boxers the referees or the commentator the person introducing the boxers if they're from Spain or one of the Spanish colonized countries the introducer of the boxer so often seems to put on some kind of accent roll their tongue and stuff like that they don't do that if the person's from Sweden they don't do it if they're from Germany they don't do it if they're from the African nation they don't put on an African accent a Zimbabwean accent or something or if they're from

if the person's from South Africa they don't put on a South African accent when they introduce the name why is that but if it's Spanish they do sometimes they'll try and pronounce correctly uh Eastern European name or maybe even a French name but they don't do it if someone's from uh Ghania they don't introduce I'm not going to do it I'm saying they don't introduce the the boxer in a Ghanian I don't know what the correct term is accent if the box is from Jamaica they don't introduce the boxer in

a Jamaican accent and I'm not talking about introducing just the name so we had we've had a few was it Razor Ruddick was Jamaican and he was never introduced as Donovan Razor Ruddick you know it was it was never that's my that's my Jamaican accent this is quite good isn't it Donovan Razor Ruddick was terrible I know but just that seemed the safest accent to get away with maybe I don't know but he you know he was always Donovan Razor Ruddick but then if you get someone from let's say Canelo

it's all like no no if you're gonna try and do if you're gonna if you're gonna introduce someone from Mexico with a Mexican accent then you should do the same with someone from Jamaica or I don't know whatever whatever other country they're from India China they wouldn't dare they wouldn't dare I mean Zhang or Zhang I don't know but not I was really sure how to pronounce his name Manny Pacquiao from the Philippines always introduced as Manny Pacquiao now technically difficult name to spell or to sound to say it's not

if you said it enough times but Manny Pacquiao was one of the greatest boxers of our generation but they never said it with an accent never said it with a a Filipino accent which I'm not gonna do obviously no I'm not I'm not I'm just saying they didn't do it in an accent because why but it's okay to do it in a they do French names and French accents I just never understand I just don't understand it just don't another thing right this could be controversial but I don't care Bivol

Dimitri I think it's Dimitri Bivol for Canelo Alvarez Canelo Alvarez walked in the ring second even though he was challenging for the world title that Bivol had Canelo's national anthem was played and then the American national anthem was paid played because it was being this was in America the fight was being done but Bivol's Russian national anthem not so what I'm feeling is like how it's like if you're not going to play one national anthem just don't play any it would be my thing I realize there's stuff going on but

just let's just let's just leave national anthems on their own but what I don't understand is if you've got two people from two different countries if you're going to play their national anthems I don't really see the point in why they do it but that's fine but why like if okay if Canelo fought against for example when he fought Golovkin if them two had fought in England I mean it's unlikely that would happen anyway but you know they might someone say well they're both very very popular it would fill out

Wembley Stadium and we've got one of the biggest uh stadiums in the world and there's a hundred odd thousand people can fit in there so it would be a huge money earner because worldwide uh but you know as far as the live gate goes they'll make a good bit of money even if they're both fought when they're over their hill which potentially they're both are in their twilight years of boxing now potentially so they would have both their national anthems done I'm pretty certain there would be no Union Jack played

at the end because we don't do that here why are we playing our national anthem that's got nothing to do with the boxing event nothing to do with the two fires it's just strange but other countries do that it's like we've played your national anthems we've got to play ours now otherwise we're gonna be grumpy it's only fair he he had three pieces of toast I want three pieces of toast but you're allergic to bread you're not allowed to eat bread I don't care he said three pieces of toast so

I want three pieces of toast yeah but it causes your throat to it makes you ill but I want it because he said it he got stung by a bee I want to get stung so yeah it's uh seems a bit silly really a little bit silly right so that's that's me it's me done really oh I'm done I'm done done done done done uh oh blimey thank you for listening remember to be kind to yourself and I will speak to you again tomorrow bye bye
