Hello and welcome to Let Me Bore You To Sleep. Yes, Let Me Bore You To Sleep. It's Let Me Bore You To Sleep time.

Hello and welcome and how are you? So it's the 16th of January 2024 and this is the first year in many, many years where I haven't made a recording for so long. Normally I make one nearer the end of the year than this is. But there's been some stuff occurring.

Anyway, my name is Jason Newland. My website is jasonnewland.com. And the reason I'm telling you the website is because it's really worth a look. Pretty much all of my recordings are on there, available to download completely free.

And all versions of the recordings are available to download all at once. For example, 1062 Let Me Bore You To Sleep. It's boxing time on the 23rd of December 2023.

You can download the recording without music with background music, five hour and 10 hour version, all at the same time. And it's free. You can also if you appreciate what I do and would like to support this free service, you can send me a PayPal gift, which would be very much appreciated.

Just go to my website. It's at the top of the link. So it's in the menu, PayPal gift, whatever it is.

And so that's it, I think. So take care. Boy.

So where is it? Jason? Is that my website? Yeah, so it's PayPal gift me so that's in the thing. Also, also in the menu of my website is boring Facebook group, which you can join. It is a private group.

But you can join it because it doesn't cost anything to this on Facebook. And it's only really there for real. I'm not like I guess people are really, really like what I do.

It's not for the casual fan is for the full people absolutely obsessed. No, it's just is for anyone that really likes what I do. It's that's what it's there for to Jason Newlands boring group.

Currently have 137 members. So not many people like what I do, which is good. But those that do do and so that's what it's there for.

So if you'd like to join that you can click on the link on my website or just search for it on Facebook. What else is there to say at the beginning of this? Okay, so on my website, there's also a contact form so you can send me a message on there. So you can click on that the different podcasts that I have that you can download.

Let Me Bore You To Sleep this one or every episode. The ASMR deep sleep whisper hypnosis every episode is 500 odd relax and sleep hypnosis daily 207 recordings there. You can download every episode there.

Sleepy boring objects Jason's bedtime story time. Stop smoking hypnosis, stress and pain relief. And there's 47 of them I think ASMR whisper Let Me Bore You To Sleep and it's 10 of them and chronic pain hypnosis.

So there are others I've not included yet, but I will add them at a later stage. Now Vinnie is whining for some reason. Not quite sure why.

So Vinnie's sitting in the middle of the floor and Logie's lying down. So yeah, I don't know. Not quite sure what the Oh, I know what it is.

Logie had Vinnie's bone and bone and Vinnie wasn't happy about it. But then Logie's let him take it. How cute is that? It might be because I mentioned Logie and Logie heard me mention his name and he realized that I was observing his behavior.

And he thought I better let this spoil one have what he wants. As he's the favorite. The favorite little favorite little boy have what he wants.

Don't worry about me. Don't worry about the fact that I'm an orphan. Just just let him do what he wants.

I don't need any special treatment. Even though I haven't got daddy anymore. Don't worry about me.

Bless him. He's still here. Still here.

Still haven't. No one's taken him yet. And my friend's sister was supposed to take him Saturday.

And it was now Tuesday. But I haven't heard anything. So I'm not quite sure what's going to go on there.

Hopefully, something will happen positive. Since I last spoke to you, only listen when you can safely close your eyes, which is something I should have said probably a little bit sooner. Just in case you have been so bored by the introduction.

It's possible. Highly unlikely because I think it was quite interesting. But it's possible.

Yeah, I suppose. Got woke up at about four o'clock this morning. By I don't know if it was Logie or Vinnie.

But one of them. Well, I think they were both staring at me. Actually, I woke up to that.

And I think one of them might have been licking me to wake me up. So I needed to take them in the garden. So I did that.

Spent a little bit time on the internet. And on the website, had my breakfast about 10 to five. And just after six, I went back to bed for another lay down got up about 10 to eight.

And it's now 17 minutes past 9am. Yeah, so that's it really. It's not not very interesting.

That was the most interesting story that's happened in two months. But after telling you I've been looking forward to telling you that for four minutes. It's not that exciting, was it? So things, those of you that knows that know a little bit about what's been going on.

And you don't know the half of it. But what I can't go into that stuff, because it's I can talk about stuff that's personal, that involves me, that's kind of only involves me. But it's quite a few things that have involved other people that I can't really talk about.

So I won't. But it's been a very weird, weird period, to be honest. Yeah, pretty much last seven weeks.

Very, very strange. Very, very strange. So I'm hoping that things will start to calm down a little bit.

And I can get some kind of normality back. And the only thing, the only thing that really, to me, makes my life, what feels worthwhile is making recordings, doing podcasts, and hopefully helping people. So without, I haven't had this really, for quite a while.

I've not been very productive for at least seven weeks. I've done a couple of recordings near the end of the year. And but I'd like to get back into the routine of doing one every day.

Maybe more than one, like one Let Me Bore You To Sleep every day. And then perhaps there's some other things I'd like to do. I'm starting to think about looking into doing some stuff around addiction.

And there'll be separate wouldn't be part of the Let Me Bore You To Sleep stuff, it'd be a different thing. And that's more of a personal event. Not adventure is not the right word.

But I've known quite a few people, I do know quite a few people that are very affected by that particular topic. And maybe it's something that I could help in some way with. So I'm gonna, I'm gonna look into that.

I have done two recordings for addiction years ago. I have no idea where they are. I don't even know if they exist anymore.

I'll have to check my hard drive. But I never thought I get to the point where I'd lose recordings. I do so many recordings that I'd actually lose stuff and not know that I'd lost it.

Because I remember like 97 or not 97 2007 2006 maybe I'd have maybe 14 recordings. And it's like, wow, I can't believe I've done 14 recordings. 14 you know, maybe there'd be six relaxation recordings and five deep sleep recordings and maybe three chronic pain relief recordings.

And I'd be so pleased with myself. And the recording quality was absolutely awful, like crackly and echoey and really bad. And I just I didn't.

I hoped, I guess I didn't really believe that I'd be still be doing this. 18 years later, because I started this in 2006. And it's now 2024.

And it was around this time, 2006, January time, around this time, it might be a little bit later in the month, but around this time, a teen yards. And I do wonder, what's next? What am I gonna? Is this something perhaps I should do? New something new I should do something different? Where? I don't know. Or should I just continue doing what I'm doing? Admittedly, the let me boy to sleeps.

Everyone's everything's different. Everyone is different. Yet similar, but different.

They're not all the same. And it's still got my still got the same squeaky annoying voice. Unfortunately, sorry about that.

Blame the helium. But I just I don't know. It's weird, isn't it? I just I like doing them.

I probably prefer doing the Let Me Bore You To Sleep above all the other stuff I do. Although when I get my when I get my mind set into a relax and sleep hypnosis, daily hypnosis thing, you know, if I do that, or I'm doing a what is it? Let me bore your pain away or what one of those recordings? I really get stuck into it. Like proper really get involved.

Oh, another reason why I've not. Well, yeah, I guess another reason I've not made the recording so much is I have attempted a couple of times and having the two dogs is a challenge. Because I used to be able to put Vinnie into the bedroom.

And it'd be quite good for about an hour. Usually, if I put Logie into the bedroom, he will be gone. Woof, woof, he actually does say woof, really deep, really loud.

Continuously for the entirety. And when he's doing it, Vinnie copies. It's so I have to have them in a room with me.

Now at the moment, luckily, Logie's crashed out on the floor. Vinnie's chewing his bone underneath the table, which you might be able to hear. I've got the window open because it was a bit stuffy in here.

And everything seems to be fairly calm. But it's you know, I mean, it's not always easy to get this because as soon as someone knocks on the door, front door, there's some kind of commotion downstairs or just noises really. Someone slams the door.

The little one pipes up. And he's very loud. And it I don't know, I can't this there's a toy that I remember from when I was a kid, where you'd wind it up, and it would it make a lot of noise and then stop.

And occasionally it make noises again. You know, and he's a bit like that. He's, he does the barking and then he stops but he's still thought the motor is still running.

And he still has to let out little barks and little squeaks and stuff until he's calmed down. It can take, you know, 1015 minutes sometimes for him to calm down. It's weird.

I guess it's a little bit like a not a haggis pipes a piece, you know, the those harpsichord, harpsichord, what are they called? Bagpipes. Well, once they're full of air, you can make a lot of noise by pushing them in. But then if you just push them in slowly, it still makes a bit of noise.

Or if you lay lay on his on his back, or you put it down, it makes some noise because the air is moving out of the pipes. So what I'm saying is Vinnie is a bagpipe, which is a weird thing to say. So I need to get my head around doing these recordings again because I can't remember what I do.

What do I talk about? Anyone? I got no idea. I don't remember. It's been so long.

Like it hasn't been that long. 23rd of December is the last one I did. But it does seem that's three weeks, isn't it? Three weeks? Yeah, three weeks ago.

I can't remember the last time I went three weeks without making a recording. Even when I had that chest infection in Thailand, I still made a recording within the three week period that I was ill. Blimey.

Let me have a cup of tea. So as I said earlier, I've been working on the website. And what I'm going to do actually, I'm going to read some comments.

Well, I want to thank some people. And they've left comments on Facebook. I haven't replied to everyone.

I do apologize. I've just been so. So should we say occupied? Is that a good word? And that the last post I posted was, I think, 13, 14.

Okay, one last post is Logie is going to live with his auntie today, gonna miss the giant fart bag. Now, that didn't happen. So that was on Saturday.

And had a few comments. Leslie, Logie is a lovely dog, but I don't think you'll miss his windy hobby. I love that.

Thank you. Kathleen says, thanks for the lovely photo of the boys looking forward to there was a picture of him and Vinnie together on the sofa. And thanks for the lovely photo of the boys.

Look forward to hearing about life for you and Vinnie without Logie. At least you'll be able to spread out like a star in bed. Jay, you're right.

I have not been able to spread out in my bed for nearly two months. He takes up. Basically, I'm now laying very close to the wall.

Logie lays, he starts at my feet and goes up to about my waist. And quite often he's leaning against me. Vinnie now sleeps on the pillow next to my pillow.

Because there's no always sleeps, he pushes against me. If I'm, if I'm facing the wall, Vinnie might sleep and lay against my back to push on my back. Or sometimes he will lay, he'll actually call on me and lay on my chest and stomach.

So that's that's it depends. He moves around a lot. But when I wake up, usually Vinnie's Vinnie's either lying on sleep on a pillow, or just below the pillow.

So where my I guess where my chest is, or my, my, my, my boobies is not near my boobies. And Logie's still in the same. I mean, he moves around, but he's still kind of taking up the rest of the bed, which is probably 95%.

Of course, it isn't, but it sounds good. So that's been weird. I got used to it.

It's amazing what you can get used to, isn't it? I've lived here for nine years. And the amount of things I managed to get used to was ridiculous. And Sarah says sad for you, but the right thing.

Lovely Logie was just one more thing for you to worry about. True. That's true, Sarah.

To be fair, he's run out of food and I can't afford to get him any new food. So he's gonna have to do with some like wet dog food little packets until tomorrow. And I couldn't because Vinnie's so little.

He doesn't eat much, you know, he eats, but the amount Logie eats, I would say four times the amount that Vinnie eats in one sitting. He can eat a whole big bowl of food. Vinnie will eat a tiny little bowl of food.

Because he's tiny, isn't he? He's so little. And I've got a huge bag, really big bag, too big to carry, not too big to lift, but too big to to travel from the pet shop to here. Lucky they delivered it, which I don't normally.

So I got a big bag of complete Arkwright's complete with chicken dry food for Logie. And I think it was 48 pound or something like that 38 39 40 pounds, something like that, which was not really in my budget these days. But luckily, she gave me a discount.

She knew the situation. My friend was a regular customer there as I am, and have been for a long time. I've been going in there since I had Andre, I used to get my food in there, and treats and stuff like that.

And since I've had Vinnie, I've been going in and getting regular treats. And she knew Logie anyway, because he used to go in there once a week and he used to collect stuff for him. So she gave a discount, and she also delivered the food herself.

And they don't do deliveries, not not. They deliver during up through the post. But she bought it herself in her car.

That was so lovely. And in fact, I got two bags, because the other dog, Callie, because my friend had two dogs. At the end.

Callie was not a puppy, but about a year, just over a year old, lovely, so friendly, beautiful little dog. She wasn't little. She was the same as same kind of dog as Logie, but not as big, you know, probably not as big, just, you know, it hadn't really filled out.

Very lovely, loved everyone loved all humans loved all dogs. So it wasn't wasn't at all aggressive. So perfect dog really.

But I couldn't take on three dogs. I couldn't handle three dogs, because she was super hyperactive. Probably don't need the word super do hyperactive is probably enough, or super active.

Hyper super. I don't know. But she was very up.

As it were, she you know, she's very excitable. So and one of the neighbors took her right so yeah, whatever. There was a neighbor's girlfriend doesn't live around here but she's got a garden, which is really good if you got a dog if you can get get if you got a garden is handy.

And she went literally within two hours on the same day that she was orphaned. So I gave them a bag of food and said, Well, you didn't know this was going to happen. So you can really prepare for it.

So I said, I'll get you a big bag of food that should last you for a couple of weeks or whatever. And then it's up to you after that, just so that they didn't have this sudden expense out of the blue. So two of the same bags of food, and I'm surprised actually lasted in for seven weeks.

And he's never without food is always food in the bowl. And then on top of that, I also give him probably a couple of packets of dog food, wet food as well, like during the day. And so he's, he's, he seems okay.

If he's hungry, he can he can eat the dry food. And but now it's run out. And I'm thinking, Oh, oh, oh, dear.

Oh, dear. I don't know what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna do.

So yeah, it's I'll figure it out. It's not just the cost. Although that is that does come into it.

It's getting it here. How am I going to get it home? Even if I can pay 40 odd pound for the dry food, the big bag. It's, it's not too heavy for me to carry.

I can lift it. But bearing in mind, I have to take one of the dogs with me because I can't leave them alone together. Because they argue.

And if I'm here, they behave themselves a lot better. And when I tell them to stop it, they do. But if I'm not here, I've seen a very small version of what could happen.

And for example, Logie tries to take something off Vinnie, maybe his bone or something he's eating or chewing on. Vinnie growls at Logie. When I'm here, generally, Logie just moves away.

I'll tell I'll tell Vinnie off. But Logie just calls off. But a couple of times Logie has got angry.

And he started growling at Vinnie. And then Vinnie really starts to growl and really get angry and into fighting mode. And two, maybe three times so far, I think twice, at least I remember, I've seen them square up to each other.

And it's quite scary, because I know that I mean, there's such physics, I mean, just pure physics, isn't it? And I think if Vinnie was the same size as Logie, Logie possibly wouldn't stand a chance against him. Because they are quite Jack Russell's are quite vicious dogs. They can be I mean, they were they were literally bred to kill.

That's what they were bred for. And back in 100 200 years ago, whatever, little killing machines, but yeah, for small, you know, vermin and stuff on farms and, and to hunt and that but, but then Logie is a staffy. So he's not pit bull, but kind of, I guess, he's got some of that in him.

He's not an Excel bully. But some people would mistake him for being one. He's got that like huge head, big neck, big body.

And he's a formidable, formidable dog. Very lazy, very laid back loves humans. He's less bothered about dogs now, but still, you know, even with his muzzle on, he's still sort of, I can feel him pulling this.

There was some people stopped the other day and I had them both in there in the park. Logie with the muzzle on Vinnie without because he doesn't need a muzzle. And a couple of people this this this lady that has been stopping and talking to me for over a year was like almost avoiding me walking around and I said wait, wait, call her over like what? You're right.

He said, yeah, and they were nervous about him. He's got a bit of a reputation around here for being a bit naughty at times. And I said, look, he can't do anything.

He's on the muzzle, he's got a muzzle on. He can be close up to your dog's face and he can't do a single thing. It's a really, really strong muzzle.

You know, I did some research before I bought the thing because I needed something that he could knock it off because he's had muzzles before that he could get off this one. I mean, even if he escaped and he ran off and he'd gone for three hours in the fields, he'd come back and he still had the muzzle on. He can't get it off.

He can't. He's tried everything. But not a chainsaw, but you know, not everything.

He hasn't, hasn't tried a welding gear to try and get off. I'm saying, you know, when I say everything, you know, I'm not, I'm not talking about parachuting into a volcano because that would help melt it off. You know, I'm not everything, but he hasn't, he tries, he rubs his face against the ground and he tries to rub it against me and he tries to, this is something he does.

He walks into places where there's trees and bushes and weeds, long weeds and grass and tries to get tangled up and pulls out of it, hoping that it will catch on to the, to the mask and pull it off, but it doesn't work. So he really doesn't like it. But anyway, we're there and the other person's dog starts barking at him at Logie and Logie starts to growl.

And it's like a vibration, the whole field vibrates. It feels quite nice. And it's like sitting on the back of a bus.

It's like, Oh, this is nice, but it shouldn't be, I shouldn't enjoy this, but oh, and he, he just, his body was shaking, but he couldn't do a single thing. First of all, he's not stronger than me. So he can't pull me over.

If I was off balance, he could, of course he could, but because I'm with him, I'm aware that I'm with him because he is so strong. So he can't do anything. And, but he really did.

But then who piped up Vinnie, Vinnie started barking at the other dog. So they're in cahoots. And that, that worries me that Vinnie will start being, I don't want to say devil dog, but you know, start to be aggressive to other dogs.

Because the one thing that I really loved about him is how friendly he is to other dogs, to everyone. And recently he started barking at other dogs. And he never used to really do that.

Other than outside of like excitement, you know, let's play, let's play that, you know, but I don't want to see that in him because his, his normal mandate is to lie on his back in a permissive stance. And okay, that's going a little bit too far, maybe, but he's very friendly normally. And very much like, I bring peace to your world.

I bring no harm. I mean, no harm, all that stuff, you know, I'm probably putting a few too many words into his mind. Because I think the only thing he, he does think is, where's my food? Where's my food? I want a treat.

I want a treat. Tell me for a walk, walk, walk, walk, treat, treat, treat. Who farted? Stop blaming me for your farts.

And you know, just stuff like that. And the question I do have, though, will he miss Logie? That might seem like a silly question. Considering that a few months ago, Logie went missing for two weeks, two and a half weeks.

He escaped and he ran off. And someone picked him up, took him to RSPCA or some place. We didn't know where he was.

He just disappeared. He just basically, he didn't come back. Normally, he would come back and let himself in.

He can open doors and everything. But he didn't on this occasion. And it's not just opening doors from outside and pushing, he can open doors from inside.

So if a door's closed, providing it's got a, like a lever, you know, door handle, he can push on it and he can pull it open as well. He's quite a clever, clever little monkey, really. And although I've been able to do that, I've been able to do that for ages myself.

Not that, not that impressive, really, is opening a door. I've been able to open a door for, for at least six years. So I don't think, I don't see it's that impressive.

It's not that unique, you know, mate. It's not that unique. I could do it as well.

His, his, his legs and feet are not good though. He struggles to get up the stairs. Oh no, wait a minute.

That's me. That's me. No, he's fine.

It's me. I struggle. No, he does.

He's, he has to plan now before he jumps onto the settee or sofa or the bed. He doesn't just, he used to just jump. Now he's like, okay, one, two, three, here we go.

And when he does actually plop down, it's hard to move him because he doesn't want to get up. Like, that's it. I've used my energy.

I'm now sitting in a different spot. Done. Bless him.

So yeah, I don't know what's going to happen to him. He's, I think he is now in old age, uh, just based on his movement and the limping and like, it doesn't limp all the time, but he just gets a little bit. I think maybe the circulation isn't as good as it used to be.

And, um, the weird thing about it is his appetite definitely is fine. There's no problem there. And I was told by the vet that when an animal is in pain, like really, you know, when it's very bad, their appetite goes, they don't eat.

So either he's whatever, if he's got arthritis or whatever, it's not bad enough to stop him. He's not in bad enough pain to stop him from eating. Or he's just a gluttonous pig.

I mean, so it's one of them. I don't think any, honestly, I don't think anything would stop him from eating. You know, he'd request the last meal if he had to be put down.

Honestly, it's, it just is nothing. It just loves food. Bless him.

So I'm not sure. I'm not sure what he's, he has his moments though, where he turns into a puppy. I don't mean like Disney doesn't like physically turn into a puppy because, um, that'd be a bit too magical.

And to be honest with you, if I'd seen that happen, I probably would have contacted my psychiatrist. The medication's having a different effect. Perhaps we should, uh, re-look into, uh, re you know, subscribing something different.

Um, but yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away. Yesterday he and Vinnie were in a neighbor's flat and this person's got a garden and it's a much bigger flat than mine. It's got two bedrooms.

So everything's bigger. The kitchen's bigger, bathroom's bigger, everything's the living room's bigger, uh, hallway, everything, you know, and they were running in and out of the garden through the living room into the hallway, into the bedroom, and then all the way back out again into the garden again. And I did film it.

I'm going to stick that on Facebook or something. And they were like, he was like a puppy and Vinnie was just following him. And they were having so much fun, just running in and out.

And it was joyous. It was really lovely to watch. And I said, I did film it, but, well, not, but nothing really.

I just, it just makes you think, oh, what's Vinnie going to do without him? How's Vinnie going to be without Logie? Cause they really are close. They don't lay on each other like they used to. Well, I say lay on each other.

Vinnie used to lay on Logie. They don't do that anymore. But I think part of the reason is because they're with each other 24 hours a day and whatever novelty there was, has well and truly dissipated.

It's almost, they're just, I guess, just used to each other. They don't get excited seeing each other. Like before, if they, you know, Logie would come up and maybe, you know, if Vinnie hadn't seen him since the day before and Logie gets super excited, Vinnie would get super excited.

They'd run around and that's gone. That just doesn't happen anymore, generally. But because they're in a different place to home, running up and down, they really had fun.

And it was lovely to watch because Logie wasn't limping or anything. He was running. Not fast, but you know, Vinnie was running, but Vinnie runs as fast as he can.

And Logie's legs are about 75 times longer than Vinnie's. So he's just, for every, basically for every footstep he does, Vinnie has to do about 32. You know, it's just, it's just huge.

It's not that big. Vinnie can run in between his legs. Literally, he can run between his legs when he's standing up.

When I first said that, I thought I'm just making it up, but I think it's actually true. It might not be true. I might have made it up, actually.

But I'm pretty sure when Vinnie's, when Logie's standing up, Vinnie can stand underneath him, which is very, very, very weird. Very, very, very weird. So, um, yeah, I don't know.

I'm not sure. I'm not sure what's going to happen, but hopefully it will be sorted. It's just, whenever I think, well, he could just stay here.

Logie's happy. Vinnie's happy. And that's kind of really what matters.

And then I remembered that I can't take Logie or Vinnie out on his own. I can't take him for the long walks that I used to do. And I missed that.

I don't, I no longer have the, the communication that I used to have, even though some of the chats were really small and just, hello, how are you? And, but I'd be seeing the same faces most days in the park or in the field or whatever. And now I'm putting off even going for walks most of the time because getting his muzzle on is hard work. You know, Logie doesn't like the muzzle and it's a struggle.

It takes, it just takes effort to get it on him. And it will just lie down trying to prevent me from getting it onto his head, onto his face. And it is difficult because he's so heavy.

And then when we're out constantly, he's lying down and rolling around in the mud, trying to get the thing off. And it's just not, it may sound like a moaning. Do you know why that is? It's because I'm moaning.

That's why it is what it is. You know, I'm being a moan pot. You just have to wait and see.

I'm just, he seems happy here though. He sleeps a lot anyway, but he seems, see my environment is very chilled, very calm environment. I don't have rubbish going on.

I don't have, you know, dramas or anything like that in my home. So they're very relaxed. There's no dodgy people coming in or anything like that.

So he's, he's very, I don't know. I think he probably meets, he misses seeing more people because I don't, I don't have anyone really come in hardly at all. So I think he misses that interaction because he knew a lot of people and he would see quite a few people regularly.

Now he's stuck with me and let's face it, I'm not the most stimulating and exciting person in the world. Don't mind this, you know, well, let's be frank. I don't know if I'd want to be called Frank.

It's not nothing wrong being called Frank, but it must be annoying when people say, well, let's be Frank to be Frank. Like, why do you want to be me? What? And it's almost like the idea that everyone called Frank is honest and to the point, and I'm sure there must be a few dishonest Franks out there. And also Frank is a, is a currency, isn't it? In France.

So yeah. What else? Sad few, but look on the bright side. So Christine says, or by Logie, look on the bright side.

Things will be easier now if you need to take many for walks. Yeah, you're right. You're right.

And, but this is from a few days ago. It's, um, and then I put, I won't read anything about my friend cause just, I guess I'm trying to move on from that. So I won't really discuss that, but I put a picture of Vinnie and it's my favorite picture.

And I don't know, it's basically what you're looking at is the title. And he is just sitting on my friend's sofa, just looking at me, um, with no sense of embarrassment, no, anything just like, well, and to be fair, it's very rare that he would pose for a picture. Normally, if I point the camera at him, he moves or he starts moving around or doing something or he looks away.

For some reason, he was just sitting there. He was in the middle of doing something else, but he stopped that and looked, his face and head moved upwards and he looked at me. But, uh, yeah, there was another picture someone else posted.

So, um, what's weird is I used to know her name and now I forget what her name is because she's used that name for so long. Ziggy Zee Xander. Um, when you see it, you can't unsee it.

And she posted a picture which was, you're very right. Unseeable. Un, not unseeable.

Yeah. Un, not seeable. Yeah.

Un, not unseeable. Unforgettable. That's probably the word I was looking for really.

Unforgettable. And it was a mixture of like, wow. And what a lucky boy, you know, it's like, wow.

So you could say the universe was very generous to him. That's all I'm saying. Thank you.

So I've got one is thank you for the well wishes, support and kind words. I decided to keep everything for you. So I got a few comments there.

This is from a few days ago. When was this? 8th of January. So I've got some lovely messages.

I read them out just because they were lovely. And these are public messages. They're not, they weren't like, um, they weren't private messages or anything.

So Sarah says, yay. I love the rollercoaster ride you're taking me on. Hope this means you're feeling a bit happier.

And Cindy says, I'm grateful, Jason. Thank you. Diana says, you'll always have us so very grateful for everything you do.

Get well soon and always know you are supported. Robin says you are an incredible human Jason. I sound like I said Jason to the bean, didn't I? What an incredible human Jason you are.

Now what you incredible human Jason. Look how many people love you from all around the world. You are blessed and we are blessed for having you take care of yourself.

What a lovely message. Thank you, com com Robin. Jenny says you are greatly appreciated.

Jason. Good karma comes to those who help from the heart like you do. But please take care of yourself so you can continue to help us like in an airplane, but put the oxygen on yourself first.

And thank you. That's very kind. So I've thought about that, you know, about the oxygen thing.

It goes against every natural instinct, doesn't it? To put the oxygen on ourselves first, especially if you're with someone that you love deeply and they don't have the ability to do it themselves. It's like maybe for whatever reason. Yeah, whether it's an elderly person who can't reach or maybe someone like me, I'm short, so I probably won't be able to reach it.

I'm only two foot three. Don't laugh. It's not fair.

It's not funny. And or your children, you're going to want to put the oxygen on your children. But logically put on yourself and then you can do everything else knowing that you can breathe and safe.

But it goes against the emotions like logic against emotion. Emotion quite often wins over logic. Which is why the average person isn't a firefighter or a paramedic.

You know, these are highly or nurses. These are highly trained people because they have to learn logic over emotion. Because if they if they, yeah, imagine if a firefighter worked on emotion or just, you know, got led by their emotion, they would put their colleagues at risk and put their own lives at risk.

Because they wouldn't even get all the safety equipment on before rushing into the building or checking that the building was safe enough for them to go into. And because emotion will just be like to go in. So it's the reason they can do is because they practice it.

They rehearse it. And they do it day in day out. So I don't know how I would be in an emergency situation like that, you know, on a plane, I mean, because well, I didn't have to think about it because I was traveling.

I've only ever traveled on my own really that once I traveled to where did I go Bulgaria in 2003. And I traveled with some friends. And but I put the I put the oxygen mask on myself anyway.

And let them do their own. Because they were all I didn't like them that much. They were all to be fair, one of them really did annoy me.

Because I said they knew that I had a particular issue with flying. The real issue, like at the time. Now, I kind of don't care anymore, because I've, I overcame that.

Because it was a relatively short flight, maybe three hours. It was, you know, it's still the longest flight I'd had at that time. But it was Yeah, I didn't enjoy it.

But the one of them, I would try to get into myself into the into some kind of a sleep. Try and get myself dozy and drifting off. And one of the people that I was with, every now and then, not all the time.

But every now and a few times, and he thought was hilarious, he'd wake me up. And say, Jason, Jason, I said, he said, We're not there yet. And he'd laugh.

And it's funny that by tormenting me, amused him. So yeah, on the way back, luckily, the because we was all sort of sitting together. On the way back, one of the air stewardesses came up to us and said, we've got a bit of a problem.

Someone's had an I think someone had an accident. And they needed to be seated at the front. Because they couldn't, their mobility couldn't allow them to get to the back of the plane, which is where their seat was, would one of us be willing to swap and go to the back of the plane? And so that that person with a broken leg or whatever sit at the front, I put my hand up said, Yep.

I got to sit on my own. There was someone next to me, but it was someone I didn't know. So I got to sit on my own at the back.

I can still hear them. But I didn't talk to them for the whole journey. And it was a much I wouldn't use the word play.

I wouldn't use the word pleasant because I didn't enjoy it. I mean, I didn't, I didn't get home and immediately start writing love poetry about the experience. But and, you know, get the easel out and start making a nice portrait of the of the journey to remember it forever.

No, it wasn't nice. And I did manage to find a way to overcome the flying issue. I'm not gonna tell you what it is because it was quite extreme.

And thinking wise in my mind, and, but it worked, but it's very extreme. And it's not, it's not a good zone to be in, if you know what I mean. But I just did what I could at the time.

Now, flights don't don't care. Got no issue after doing the long haul flights. A couple of times for four times.

It's, it's not hard anymore. It's weird if you do a 12 hour flight. It that feeling can't I don't think any feeling can keep going for 12 hours.

It's very, you know, like an emotion, whatever. It just can't 12 hours too long to keep something going. So that also, what I noticed is, I had, I forget what it is, dizziness in my ears.

I had a few problems with my ears that year. And I was going dizzy. Whatever it is when you put your head back and you know, so I had that ever since I had COVID or whatever, in 2020.

And it affected my I lost half my hearing for a while, and then it came back. But I was having issues with my ears. But what happened on the first flight, my ears popped, and it cleared it.

Dizziness gone, gone, gone, gone, gone, good, good, good, good, gone. The the altitude, whatever else, just cleared and evened out the I don't know, whatever it is, between the I say whatever it is between my ears, I guess that's a brain, isn't it? Partly, I don't know how much brain there is in there, but it cleared it out. And I no longer had the dizzy spells.

I forget the name for the dizziness, just a lot of people have it. So that was good. So no, yes, natural to have your ears popping out when you're in a plane.

But it cleared it, it was almost like, like the, the wind was just blowing between my ears. Because there isn't anything in the middle, I don't think I think there is just like a empty space, like a big field with two ears either side, which is weird, a weird visual. How did I talk about planes? Where did the planes come from? That's weird, isn't it? And I'll talk about I don't know.

But that's kind of it really. The dogs have barked a couple of times. So I'll have to edit that out.

I think I coughed once I have to edit that out. And make a phone call to my friends see if she's all right. And then I will edit this, upload it.

And I just realized as I was looking at my website that there's a there is quite a lot of stuff that I've not uploaded that's available that I completely forgot about. So there's a few 100 more recordings that I forgot about. Damn it.

Anyway, I'll look into doing that. But you know what the problem is, once I start to do something, I get a little bit caught up in it. I really do.

And it's Yeah, not not done. I felt obsessed is the word. But get very, very caught up and focused.

So when I'm making it, when I'm working on a website, and a website always needs work doing is probably the best it's been. So far, but it's still I'm still working on new ways of making it easy to use and more options and stuff. But it's still pretty, pretty good website for what it is.

And which is a place where you can download my recordings. But ultimately, what I'm going to do start adding players so you can stream on the website as well. And what else? Yeah, I'm also uploading because I've got some podcasts on Spotify, that are only on Spotify.

And there's some of them on Apple podcasts as well. So I'm kind of just working on uploading those and it's just taken a long time. Yeah, it's it would probably take weeks and weeks before they're all done.

But that's okay. I mean, on Spotify, I can't have anything with music. It's not allowed.

So the podcasts on Spotify are only without music. The but the main podcasts I've got four or they got 12345. I've got five podcasts on SoundCloud.

They're also on Apple, Apple podcasts. But they're not on Spotify, those ones, not not the versions that have music, but there's versions without music. So I've got the Let Me Bore You To Sleep, relax and sleep hypnosis daily, SoundCloud, ASMR, deep sleep, whisper hypnosis on SoundCloud.

Sleep. I think relax, sleep and pain relief, hypnosis and sleep hypnosis with or relax and sleep hypnosis with background sounds or background music. So there's five different podcasts on SoundCloud.

And so yeah, it's only one of the ones on Spotify has really kind of like on its own. I mean on what I mean is they're not anywhere else to actually upload it onto the Spotify platform. And one of those podcasters really taken off.

So it's just a case of waiting to see. You hear that? But I've got the window open. So I just had a visitor in a little while ago, and she she came out.

Not the closet, she she left it through the front door. Because I don't because it's not a Narnia book, is it? You can't leave through the closet. Oh, how good would that be though? Okay, forgetting the witch and all that stuff.

How cool would that be to be just like, I'm a bit bored today. What do you fancy doing? Should we go? Do you want to go shopping? Or should we watch Netflix? Go to the pub? Or, you know, something we haven't done for a while. We haven't visited Narnia.

You just go through the wardrobe and your neighbor says, Blimey, is this still here? Is it? He said, yeah. Another one of your friends said, I forgot all about this. Like you'd forget.

How the hell would you forget? Yeah, I forgot all about this. And then you got new friends like, what the heck? What is this? Why? Why are you all walking into a wardrobe? This doesn't seem healthy. I don't want to go into a wardrobe with you all.

How can this be better than going to the pub? So don't worry, just keep walking through all the racks of coats. What's another thing? Why have you got so many fur coats? That's not very PC, is it really? I mean, you know, don't worry about it. Just keep walking through.

So why is your wardrobe so big? Why is it so big? And some people wouldn't want to go in there, would they? Let's face it. If you said, you know, that's just kind of a bit of a weird thing to do. So if it's someone you don't know, and you've only just met them, maybe, and maybe it's a first date.

Or, you know, just started dating someone, and you're sitting there with them. And maybe you're in bed, cuddling, drinking a cup of tea. And you say to them, or they say to you, would you like to see my wardrobe? Yeah, I can see it.

It's over there. Next to the set of drawers. I can also see the window, you know? No, no, I mean, would you like to see in the wardrobe? What do you mean, see in the wardrobe? Would you like to go in the wardrobe? No, thanks.

Bye. I mean, you'd want to get out there, wouldn't you? Like, why did, why the hell did they want me to get in the wardrobe? They're going to lock it. That's weird behavior.

But that would be handy, wouldn't it? Imagine having, you know, just to visit Narnia. Oh, that'd be lovely. It just looks so clean.

And, I mean, I realized that part of the thing of Narnia is it was a constant winter. And it was, you know, they wanted to, it did turn into summer because the witch had made it permanent winter. But the winter is what I liked about that movie, the snow.

And just, it's, it was nice. I preferred the snow than the sunshine. I like the snow.

And also, I prefer that when the animals are made of stone. They call me old fashioned, but that's how wildlife should be, made of stone. I just, I like the snowy bit, especially the, like the beginning, you know, when they walk through the wardrobe and it's snow everywhere, it's all bright.

Because that's the good thing about snow, isn't it? Is it doesn't matter how dark it is, it's not dark. You know, even middle of the night, snow, just bright, it just, it's light, isn't it? It's lovely. Oh, oh, we were supposed to have snow here, but there ain't been none.

There's been snow up in Scotland, and up north, apparently, according to the weather forecast or predicted. Not that I've really watched the news today, really. But it's yesterday was a blue sky, it was chilly, but it's blue sky.

Today, another blue sky, sunny, and not particularly warm. Yeah, definitely. Yeah.

It's, it's a nipple effect in weather. Put it this way. But that's it really, I'll just, I normally I'm a bit a little bit more focused on what I talk about.

Maybe I haven't been quite as focused because I'm a little bit out of, out of touch with what I normally do, maybe. But thank you for listening. Remember to be kind to yourself.

Remember to be, what do I normally say? Gentle, be gentle with yourself, that's it. You deserve to be happy. Lots of love.

Bye.
