Well I haven't done one of these for a while and blimey I've got so many excuses it's like there are reasons I've been not making recordings and I think the first one what was it um I lost all my recordings because the podcast closed down and so I had to re-upload everything and then a friend died and that threw me off a little bit just a little bit just a little bit and then I did use that time and not all of it but some in that period to work on the website to work on again you know uploading I still haven't uploaded all the recordings that need to be uploaded.

I couldn't believe that I've been looking at it and so I've been working on playlists on one of my podcasts which is on SoundCloud and it's that's one of the places where all the recordings were in one place and still loads of stuff left to upload and it's taken eight gigs and eight gigs to do it and trying to organize everything is it's a huge job as I can't believe how many recordings I've done it's just ridiculous and and then then as I'm kind of coming back to make recordings the

old mouth kicks in or gives up and I had a toothache and then oh man I had this okay I'll talk about it in a minute I had a toothache and so it got pretty bad and managed to get to the dentist I might have already talked about this in the past I don't know talking spoken talked and got to the dentist last Friday so it's now Saturday so it's just over a week ago and had it removed in the end and which is good well kind of it was my

wisdom tooth I I think I only got two wisdom teeth at the bottom you know the bottom set of teeth either side I don't think I got any at the top because there was a gap on either side so any other one on the other side is fine so I had the wisdom tooth removed not realizing that it was one of the worst ones to get removed and even the dentist was concerned standing there with his huge pneumatic drill uh good luck to be able to dig the road up but no it was my mouth um and he said could be problems I said what do you mean what do you mean Mr.

Dentist he said it could be problems I said yeah I know I heard the word I understand the concept of the words you just said but what do you mean and what do you mean by that those specific words in that order and he said well it doesn't always go to plan I said what does what does in life what goes to plan he said no I don't mean just gently he said um because there's a wisdom tooth we can't always sometimes they break you can't always get them out because

they're quite big you can't always get them out in one go and if we can't then you're going to have to go to the hospital and get surgery to get the rest removed and I said uh you'll be fine I have faith in you come on let's be positive and he looked at me like I was a bit weird mind you I was stroking his thigh so maybe you know um but anyway he said oh I said oh come on stop making those weird noises just get it out he said

excuse me I said the tooth he said oh okay and he did and he struggled a little bit it wasn't an easy one and a huge amount of anesthetic not I wasn't put out but um multiple injections and I think that's that's what caused the most problems to my gums to be honest with you and then I couldn't feel anything as he was pulling it out which sounds weird as I say that out loud couldn't feel anything was pulling it out putting it in it's a different matter boom boom boom

so yeah uh got it out got the tooth out and I was relieved to be honest with you just it was done I knew you know I couldn't feel anything my mouth my gum was and I thought oh I've got to travel on a bus like this and it's like okay whatever and he kept saying you've got to be really careful because you know could get infected and I said that's fine don't worry I've had teeth out before don't worry about it you know it's like it's kind of like it

felt a bit someone was warning me about eating too much chocolate because it could be a bad tubby like no I've eaten chocolate before don't worry I used that analogy to him he said yeah I can see you've eaten chocolate that's why you've got no teeth left which is a little bit rude to be honest a little bit rude because I do have some teeth left but I think it might be spot on you know too much chocolate and cans of coke in the past not these days and I well

I did I was having about one one bottle of coke a week if that in the past I used to drink about six cans a day for quite a long time um now I won't be drinking any more coke and the my daily chocolate bars have now diminished to zero I've had no chocolate since since I've had tooth out and I probably won't be either I'm just nope because if it was just like a general thing like oh just a toothache went and had it had a fill in or which

I have in the past it's like okay it's no big deal you know it's uncomfortable for a day or two then let's move on let's get back on the merry ride of life and um this wasn't quite like that it if anything it felt worse afterwards than it did before I didn't really say the word that it did before do I just it felt worse afterwards you could have figured that I meant than it did before from that sentence but it's okay let's not get caught up in the semen tics

semen tics um semen tics I I was surprised because I thought to be fair on the Saturday because I had it out on a Friday on a Saturday I was very I was feeling very grateful I was I was feeling grateful oh yeah only listen I forgot to say this I might have not said it only listen when you can safely close your eyes and also oh oh I have a wish list I have a wish list I have a wish list down on my website just on newland.com where is

it uh it's my it's just under Amazon wish wish list it's really boring stuff so don't worry if you're thinking oh here we go he wants more stuff also there's going to be a car you know a Bentley a helicopter no none of that stuff although if you are if you do have the means to be sending me a helicopter for free then um you know go for it you know oh thanks um so I've got on my wish list is water bottled water uh front line spot on tm tic

treatment for small dogs okay uh dog food dry food and wet food marmalade so some of these things I've put in is like a like six six jars marmalade rather than just one so some of them is you know that's like 19 pound for six jars but a lot of stuff is just on its own but then they've got uh pg tips tea bags jar of coffee sugar phillips one blade for my razor thing dettol antibacterial biodegradable surface cleansing disinfectant blindness anyway then uh kitchen towels white rolls whatever they're called

andrex classic clean washlets toilet tissue wet wipes uh ready break breakfast cereal washing up liquid corn flakes face wipes weetabix toilet roll toothpaste deodorant another box of shredded uh wheat bite size the only thing that isn't actually like stuff that I would use practically not have to buy unfortunately is a a mug it's a little mug with jack russell dad on it which is quite cool so other than that it's all just stuff that I'm going to put into my body and well apart from the dog food and stuff as

for me and for for vinny tea bags coffee sugar breakfast cereal so it's not exciting stuff and but it would really help me if you like what I do and you want to help me eat then that'd be really cool thank you thank you lots and lots and lots and the link is on my website it's also on my I posted a link on my Facebook group jason's boring group jason newland's boring group whatever it's called so anyway I just thought I'd put you that put you tell you that the

links of a website as well oh oh I also say thank you to mary for a paypal gift thanks mary yes so the tooth the saturday which is a week ago today I was like sitting here in the morning thinking even though it was hurting it was hurting I was positive upbeat grateful and grateful for two various different situations I was grateful to one of my friends that lent me the money to get my tooth removed it came to 250 pound which I realized to some people it's not a lot

of money not because I've got lots of money but it just might be really cheap compared to how much it costs to have dental treatment where you live in your part of the world so the thing is in the UK or in England the UK I say England because I think in in Scotland I think dental treatment's free so and I think I might be wrong I might be wrong I might be actually wrong I know the prescriptions are free I think again I might be wrong because things do change

but so we say in England there is there was always NHS you know National Health Service for pretty much for everything apart from things like cosmetic surgery and maybe things that we didn't need you know you know elective surgery and even for elective surgery if it's something that's important but maybe not urgent so let's say a gastric band surgery and or even gender reassignment I say urgent I mean medically urgent and such it's well you know like a kidney transplant or you know something that's just needs to be done but

you're not you're not able to wait for for example now things like that could be done privately which would cost an absolute fortune or if you waited long enough you're prepared to wait long enough and jump through the hoops you could get it done on the NHS so I've got a friend who had bypass gastric gastric bypass gastric surgery you know to help her to lose weight but before she could have the surgery she had to lose about three stone which is a lot of weight to lose and they really

made a jump through hoops I mean not literally I'm not going to say just drove the jump and there's no hoops big enough I wasn't going to say anything like that I'm just saying they couldn't and you know they really put her through a lot of hassle to sort of get this done and I'm thinking if you can lose three stone um which is what's 14 times by so um 14 pounds 14 pounds times by three so it's what's that 30 40 to 30 40 42 pounds is that 42 pounds

which is 10 kilos 20 kilos it's a fair bit so if you can lose someone can lose three stone then they can lose 12 stone you know over time I mean just logic if you can lose three stone then you can continue that but the thing is um not everybody you know is illnesses that cause whether it's mental health issues whatever that can cause someone to be overeating and so I'm not in any position going to be being negative towards someone in that situation because I've got a friend in that

situation and plus I'm not the slimmest person myself and but mine's not through overeating because I don't think I eat nearly enough chocolate especially not now oh miss just a Cadbury's cream egg oh I just want to just be smeared all over with chocolate oh but nope can't do it anymore can't eat chocolate if only there's a way of getting inside my body you know other than through my mouth but then we're going into a completely different kind of recording aren't we so let's let's let's not do that so Saturday

I was feeling really oh yeah so the surgical stuff see you can um basically most things were free in England as I was growing up in this country on the NHS apart from things that were just the average I don't know I don't want to say not necessary but things that maybe weren't classed or deemed important or necessary by the NHS themselves so that's that's an easier way of saying it I guess because any any surgery whether it's uh I could do with a nose job I could do with my

whole face being reassigned I think uh tummy tuck breast reduction I could do bum reduction I tell you Kim Kardashian would be very very jealous of my buttocks honestly they're just a huge um weird bum almost I can't see I got my bum and then my legs just don't look like they like the different legs with different buttocks like you've mixed and matched the body so you've got really like little legs of a like a six-year-old boy and then the buttocks of a um I can't be careful I know what

I'm saying let's say Kim Kardashian and then a belly of a sumo wrestler and then above that Dolly Parton and and a face of an old man with makeup to make himself look like a witch I don't know yeah I'm probably by the way I'm single ladies if you're interested if you want to fall in love I may not paint a very good picture I am human generally technically I'm human so um yeah I don't know how did I get on talking about surgery oh yeah it's a 250 pound because

we don't we do have NHS dentists but something went wrong something went wrong I don't really know what it is it's very difficult to get a dentist that will do NHS work there's a waiting list pretty much everywhere I found one that would and I went with them to have my tooth out as a new patient and I'm on their waiting list and my first appointment as an NHS free I think it's free but reduced anyway who knows is in October so yeah hmm but I'd have thought after paying the

money they might have jumped me up the up the list a little bit quicker but no bless them so I borrowed oh that was a bit flimmy I borrowed the money so I felt grateful that a friend had helped me out to pay to pay to to rid my mouth of this pain so this is a Saturday morning by Saturday afternoon I'm thinking shouldn't the pain be going away by now I mean what was the point in having it out if it feels worse than it did before I just seems

a bit silly a little bit pointless a bit you know well it it didn't feel as bad it was a different type of it wasn't like a toothache it was just damaged my mouth was damaged and of course it would be it's trauma the amount of poking and prodding and ripping a tooth out the tooth wasn't it wasn't um wobbly or anything so they took a perfectly well it wasn't good tooth because it was rotten but rotten at the roots just like me it was and so they took it anyway

they took it out we've already established that part I really oh the damage to my mouth in the process so it all week I mean I've had a headache earache jawache um before you shout out it's infected it might have been infected but um I didn't have any kind of fever I wasn't ill or anything um it just hurt and the pain did reduce gradually over time and it's quite weird because last night I had I'd asleep I've been sleeping a lot trying to just get through it really because it's

I've got a broken toe at the moment and the broken toe is nothing it's almost laughable and I can hardly walk on it you know it's nothing it's like the other end it's the other end of my body it's almost like you know something happening the other side of the world it's like oh that's bad if it happened in my town it'd be the end of the world oh my god because it happened in and you know 10 000 miles away it's almost oh it is you know it's bad but

I think I'm just going to continue eating my breakfast and change the channel so it's like you know it's hard to get emotionally connected with something that's so far away and that's how I feel about my broken toe I'm not saying you know please stand on it because I don't want you to because it would hurt but it's something and it's weird because the amount of nerves it's one of the harder you know it's really not a good thing to break because of the nerve endings and everything but still even

although my mouth is starting to heal now I can feel it healing and after having a sleep yesterday afternoon I woke up and it felt different I could feel it was different it's like okay now I've turned a corner and I was laying in bed a little while a little while ago a little while earlier ago and I realized that it's it's too on the erector scale it's too on erection scale so it basically is um it's quite low it was much higher previous days to this which means it's going

in the right direction you know we're heading in the right direction and I don't want to say it twice and there's there's a degree of relief emotionally for that as well it's like it's a two it was a two what do you mean emotionally you know what it's got to me it did it got to me really got to me it was just it was bringing me down man you know I know why are you telling us about it is this supposed to be a relaxing recording I'm sitting here I'm

lying here in bed you know I put my best underpants on and my best bra and it's just you know I'm smoking a pipe I've got me I've got a full wedding dress on I don't know however you prepare I took my chastity belt off I don't know I'm good you know I washed my toe I washed my toes um whatever you do before you lay down and get into bed before listening to me like I'm all I'm all ready for relaxation and you're talking about a bloody toothache and a

tooth and carnage inside your mouth it's like that's not relaxing okay I'm sorry I apologize that was not in my intention to spend a half hour talking about this I will try and move away from it I guess I'm just trying to explain what's occurring in my life and why I haven't made you know recording for a couple of weeks because the week leading up was a toothache and then the week following was yeah yeah yeah but you would have told us all this why you keep going over it okay

all right all right so yeah so um it's it's it still hurts a little bit but it's something I feel a bit more positive about it because I can feel it's healing and it is going in the right direction so yeah that's it done I've got nothing else to talk about that's pretty much all that's happened oh it is all that's happened I don't know what's going on the news today probably more of the same so I've not looked yet I woke up about one o'clock oh man I don't know

why there's a lot of activity in this building last night a lot of doors slamming like early hours of the morning one two three four five like different times just slamming and every time it happens Vinnie starts barking you'd think wouldn't you really just well that sounded like a grumpy old man you'd think well I'd think that people especially at like early hours of the morning my natural instinct is to just be a bit quieter but then they might be thinking it's that stupid bloke upstairs with the noisy barking dog

so you know might as well just let the door slam because every time we move around he barks which is potentially true so yeah you know what I decided to be friendly the other day decided to be friendly so I'm walking Vinnie outside obviously I generally take him outside when I walk him where he walks me and I see the postal van outside the red postal van outside and I saw that the post had just been delivered so the postal worker was just walking out of my building and I thought

you know what I've never ever really acknowledged them I've never said hello not really anything just not through ignorance just maybe a bit of shyness like to leave people alone you know but they've never been particularly forthcoming and the bloke the janitor at the school was really friendly always like hello you all right um I thought a really funny joke there but I didn't say it oh it's funny to me I'm sorry I can't help it um okay but yeah he's really friendly and um oh right I'll keep that in

my head um I'll get it rid of it I'll move it away from my head uh yeah anyway and so I'm thinking okay I'm gonna be friendly I'm gonna do it I'm gonna do it so I shouted across the road morning Mr Postman lovely day for it nothing nothing no response looked right through me so I had another go I thought I didn't have a go I thought I'll give it a go maybe I wasn't heard you know who knows maybe the traffic and stuff morning Mr Postman how are you

today are you well again nothing no response no reaction she just kept walking down the road nothing what I was gonna say earlier is uh the janitor's very I didn't say it but janitor's really the janitor's really friendly he's always like morning want to buy some pictures but anyway this this is it's wrong I don't know I just just came out my head let's move on um I I um of toilets of course you know he collects toilets he doesn't I don't know why why why stop it I um you

know it's weird I've got a friend and she said to me you know how we all believe different things I had a conversation with a friend last night and she said and she said well I believe everything's meant to be everything's pre-planned I said what what what what what everything's pre-planned it's supposed to be how it is okay I said before I said before we go any further this could turn really bad really quickly and she laughed and I said let's let's just I'm sure you're coming from a positive place

but just let's let's not go down this road everything's supposed to be how it is everything's planned it's like okay so you haven't got to leave your house everything's going to happen anyway regardless of what you do what about free will no such thing as free will you'll be you're free to be okay again she might listen to this so you're you're free to be wonderful and to help me out when I need dentist work and to help me by lending me money so I'm going to say nothing bad about

her in case she's hearing me lovely person but I just thought isn't it interesting how we have such different views and I think for me I don't take on views without really really putting a lot of thought into something like a lot of thought I'm talking reading books and studying the subject I don't just like take it on it's like that sounds like it might be true all right then I'm gonna live the rest of my life like that it's like no I actually you know like with Buddhism I've read

multiple books and spent a lot yeah many many years studying it and but at various philosophies and stuff it just it just I don't know things like that it's like oh she's a spiritualist so she's very into like not seance is it seances seances because another friend of mine as she said oh I'm gonna go to a seance a seancee not fiancee what is it when you talk to the dead basically it's uh obviously you're done in bright you don't invite why don't you invite um Bruce Willis because he can't

see the dead I know he can see the dead no he doesn't know he's oh I don't know there's a joke there somewhere um I this is based upon the movie he was in just in case you know Bruce Willis isn't well no it wasn't based on that it was based on the movie I see dead people that's such a shame because it's a great movie and you can only ever watch it twice because of the twist in the second time you can only if you know what's going to happen

there's no point watching it at all like you can say that about a lot of movies but I mean you could say that about Titanic that's why I didn't watch it when it came out because I knew what was going to happen didn't stop people didn't stop it becoming the most you know the most uh popular movie of all time I think at the time they're like is it gonna be a sequel oh yeah he's like I know what happened it's quite a famous little adventure isn't it and um it's

a bit like world war two movies like or movies like the battle of Hastings or the Normandy beach stuff like yeah well uh I know I know you know I know what happens is is it gonna be an alternative ending maybe you know so I don't don't really watch those things because there's no there's no surprise I mean I understand it's Hollywood so we can you know turn anything into a love story uh Dharma the love story so I what was I gonna say um yeah the second time you watch

the Bruce Lee Bruce Lee Bruce Willis I see dead people movie is close your ears if you if you've never watched it you've had 20 years to watch it so if you haven't watched it yet 30 years maybe blimey was it the 90s it was a 90s if you haven't seen it by now what's it was even called uh I see dead people I see dead people the sixth sense 2012 no from 2012 was it 1999 2009 2019 20 21 22 23 24 25 years ago the sixth sense really really

good movie if you haven't seen it I don't want to spoil it for you however um the only reason to watch it the second time is to see whether or not just to watch it you're watching it through different eyes by the same eyes but you're watching it with knowing and it makes it interesting in a different way and see how well they did putting it together yeah but um I suppose really thinking about the seance seance seance seance would be the um roadhouse man Patrick Patrick um uh what was

it called what was the movie that he was in where he was a ghost um he's a ghost in this movie and is it Demi Moore was his wife and so he's a ghost and he's surrounded by other ghosts what was the name of the movie um and then Whoopi Goldberg is a seance lady isn't she a witch or whatever and she can do talk to the she also can talk to dead people and in the VM you know Whoopi Goldberg you might not realize this but she was celebrated on

Broadway like long long long long before she became a movie star she did this show and I had her on video in the late 80s and that's when I first discovered her Whoopi Whoopi Goldberg let's have a look it should tell us should tell us here so she's blinding she's 93 early life early Broadway a funny thing happened on the way to the forum open on Broadway in 1962 right that is not the thing because she would have been about three then um early life Goldberg described her as stern strong

and wise 1980s um oh here it is she appeared on screen this sits and I'm not losing my mind really why have I got let's turn the volume down on this thing where is it I'm not losing my mind I'm giving away an avant-garde ensemble featured by San Francisco she first came to know she might have won a one yet a one woman show which she portrayed a mom's maybe moms first performed in Berkeley California and then at the Victoria Theatre she created the spook show a one-room show composed of

different character monologues in 1983 and discovered uh that might be in the one the spook show ah 1983 blimey um a Broadway performance caught the eye of director Steven Spielberg when she performed in the belly room at the comedy store he gave her in the role role okay in the color purple so although she she she was already doing stuff before she got the was the color purple that was a big role wasn't it did she win an Oscar for that I can't remember um did she actually win an Oscar

did she did she come on anyone did you win an Oscar uh I'm looking no oh no she didn't win an Oscar she won a Grammy award for this anyway she based uh whoopee what are you doing she won a Grammy award for best comedy album for recording of her show so that's I think that's the thing that I that I watched that I saw I had it on video I might have had it on audio um on a vinyl disc as well on LP really good I advise if you

get a chance um check out I mean this is like in the early 80s I I came over it probably about 1988 89 88 um so she'd already been in movies she'd already uh I guess been nominated for an Oscar or whatever so she wasn't unknown but this is before she was famous and this is the reason why she got the role in the color purple because Steven Spiegel and I'm just repeating myself that he saw her performing that show which is quite you know if you see it you remember

it because it's really really good it's really good uh it's got to be I imagine it must be on YouTube somewhere whoopee goldberg's one woman show it's an ensemble she plays different characters um and it's funny it's touching it's serious it's emotional it's really good brilliant in fact I would say so anyway that's that was during my uh period of getting into comedy like especially like American American comedy stand-ups such as well anyone really Steve Martin Bill Cosby Eddie Murphy of course I mean Eddie Murphy was the biggest stand-up comedian

in the world at that time because he'd done Delirious and then he brought out Delirious he brought out the other one I forgot the name of it I forgot the name of it Eddie Murphy his second live concert that was in cinemas I don't know if Delirious was in cinemas but it was better um out of the two Delirious was the funnier one out of the two of them I think uh it was the first I think Delirious Eddie Murphy's Delirious was the first live adult comedy show I'd ever seen

on video you know x-rated never seen anything like that before and I just couldn't stop laughing it was hilarious and this is this was probably 1989 to be fair 89 or maybe no 88 something like that I've got an idea it was 89 but yeah I think it was but it might have been 88 I think it was 89 beginning of 89 because I'm sort of remembering where I was at the time when I watched the video and I might have rented it from the video shop why can't I think

of what the name of his other thing Delirious all I've got to do is just google it but I want to kind of remember it anyway he did another another video as well uh which was a live concert which went on um it wasn't shown live but it was recorded and they showed it in cinemas I don't know if they did it in this country but they did I think in America and it was the biggest selling live concert of all time I think like comedy concert Delirious I'm going to

look it up Delirious Delirious oh no it's not even going to come up Delirious come on Delirious if I think of Delirious I just automatically think of Eddie Murphy so here we go and it was from Eddie Murphy Delirious it's not the same one it was made Eddie Murphy let's have a little look 19 I would say it was probably because he was already famous when he made it he was already in the movies release date 1st of January 1988 uh classic comedy from Eddie Murphy I'm disappointed Eddie Murphy has

apologized for the jokes and humor it was a reflection of the world as it was very funny and well worth watching Raw Raw Raw was the the one he did after that this person says the same thing forget Raw this is the definitive Murphy performance I found Raw to be still funny but poorly recycled Delirious and I'd say yeah it is funny Raw was funny as well uh but it was almost like he redid some stuff in a different way and which is weird when you consider in 1988 when he

did this Delirious he must have been at his power as a movie star because he did because really after the 90s he wasn't really like a huge he was he was doing wasn't he doing things like um should we just check his career now I'm not denigrating Mr Murphy but I think most of his like really big stuff was in the 80s I think I'm fair to say that is it fair let's find out let's find out he's gonna have to have a different page for his movies I bet you

oh no no it's fine okay 1982 48 hours I mean literally every single one of these movies what oh yeah so that wasn't 1988 the videos discography I think it was 85 or 86 that's weird album Comedian 83 that's weird okay I've got that wrong anyway um his movies 48 hours 1982 all the way up to uh okay Trading Places big movie Beverly Hills Cop Golden Child yeah Beverly Hills Cop 2 Raw 1987 Coming to America another big movie Harlem Nights a movie I like but it wasn't a big movie

and it wasn't well received particularly um if I'm correct the budget was 30 million box office 95 so yeah he definitely made a profit but it starred Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy and he had it was all black cast pretty much and I thought it was good and he did everything he directed it reared it and he had well Richard Pryor who is the person he wanted to be so cool it was I liked it but it made a profit but it wasn't like a huge one of the huge movies

another 48 hours boomerang so 1992 boom boomerang let's see how much uh box office budget I got it wrong Harlem Nights I got it wrong Harlem Nights I got it wrong budget 30 million so boomerang nights 42 million box office 131 million blimey I don't think boomerang anyone watched it just shows you what I know Beverly Hill Cop 3 Vampire in Brooklyn um I don't remember that being a hugely successful movie budget 14 million box office 35 million okay you just you just be rude I'm not I'm not at all

it's just he during the 90s he just didn't really seem to do much he did did stuff but he wasn't he wasn't um again that's just rubbish because I'm just looking at some of the figures during most of the during most of the 90s so once he got to 90s was he another 48 hours so that was a big that was a hit and then Beverly Hills Cop 3 in 1994 that was a hit he just didn't seem to be as famous like I don't know the night professor 1996 big

might as well try and make a recording while he's not hassling me you know because he will if he was here he'd be hassling me for something like leave me alone I love you but leave me alone I haven't got anything for you nothing at all no um I remember once uh talking about my former I had a former girlfriend and she was she was into the seance not seance but she was at it she used to go to spiritualist church and you know what went to this church and she

for some reason insisted without telling me that she was going to do it she had spoken to the person running it the the I don't know what they call them priests or whatever of the church and already spoken to them before getting there and taking me there so I'm sitting there I'm saying there a lot sitting down as opposed to sitting up and I hear the words right we have someone in the audience today someone in the church is a new member of the church he's he's a close friend to

uh what's the name that's been coming for years and see he's we're gonna get in touch with his grandmother and get in touch with his grandmother today and see if we can uh you know get get contact and and I said no she said I said like no please and she said it's okay Mr Jason we're gonna do this it's gonna be fine and they came up short it really it wasn't an embarrassment because it doesn't work for everyone and everything but she like for some reason the the woman decided

that it wasn't her fault that somehow it's my fault that we weren't getting in contact and she said you know why we're not able to make contact I said why she said it's because you've you haven't got an open mind your mind is too closed your mind is too limited that's why we can't get in contact with your with your your grandmother on the uh spiritual plane and she really put me down in front of all these there's got to be at least 60 people there like it's because you've got

a closed mind young man you you're not open to it you need to be open to it you need to be really willing to receive the message from your grandmother on the spiritual plane of spiritualness I don't know what the correct words are whatever she said that's why that's why you're not we're not able to connect with her I said that's not why she said okay that's not why all right so it's not because you've got a closed mind I said no no I don't think so I'm quite an open

mind actually to be honest with you I think I've if anything I would say I probably got one of the most open minds ever I'm quite open to most things I can see both sides of the story I can see people's opinions difference you don't you know I'm I would say I'm a fairly open person uh most of the time you know we've all got our blind spots but I did proper I was doing a proper speech here you know and so that's not the reason she said oh in that

case she took it offense because her she seemed to take offense because it's like her reasoning for why I wasn't why it wasn't going to plan you know why perhaps made her look a bit bad or like she didn't know what she was doing not my words well yeah my words and she said I think it upset her a little bit put her on the spot people were staring in fact at one point um this old man at the front of the front row whatever he actually stopped eating his sandwich

like because he's like startled um and lady next to him stopped doing the jigsaw puzzle I don't know I'm just being silly now anyway um she continued she didn't she didn't stop I'm a multi-tasker she used to say um anyway it got a bit confrontational to be honest and I think the the seance leader the seance the the church leader pastor I don't know what what she was what her title was and I was being respectful and she she said okay then mr man oh blimey that's weird what who what

what reason do you think what reason it's the first time I've ever been here we come here every week every week of the year every Wednesday night of the year we come here and we do this every week year in year out yeah okay and it's always always something happens someone comes through it's always successful in some way not always perfect but always something happens and you know why that is I said no why it's because she said it's because the people have got open minds when they come here people
