Hello and welcome to Let Me Bore You To Sleep. My name is Jason Newland. I said my name is Jason Newland.

How are you all doing on this squeaky vinny day? He was asleep. Well, he was lying down on his pillow on the bed. He's got one pillow.

I've got the other. And we both do different things with those pillows. Sounds weird.

He sleeps on his and he doesn't go near my one for some reason. So only listen when you can safely close your eyes. That's a bit salivary, wasn't it? Only listen when you can safely close your eyes.

Yeah, he was on his pillow. And soon every time practically, as soon as I turn the recording studio on, I say recording studio sounds a bit grand, doesn't it? But the recording equipment, my zoom, live l8, whatever it is, and he comes to life. I don't know why.

I don't know if it lets off some kind of high pitched thing that he can hear that I can't hear. But yeah, he just like comes running in every time. And never once never was I remember never once have I turned on the machine, the equipment.

Just prior to heading outside with him, you know, it's never like it's not a precursor to let's go for a thingy. W. A. N. I mean, L. K. Yeah, never. But he seems to be seems to think that that's what it is.

For some reason. But it's just lie down near my feet. He's just chewing on one of his bones.

He lied. He was always but generally likes to lean against me. So that he's touching me.

Which is quite nice. I think it's just a dog thing. I think it's nice.

It's been quite a good boy, really. But he was. He was barking at 630 this morning.

Something was spooking him. I couldn't hear nothing though. I couldn't hear anything.

I think all the windows were closed. So I don't know what it was he was hearing. Whatever it was, he didn't like it.

It wasn't excited bark. It was more like a I don't know. This I don't know.

I don't know if it was distressed, but it was. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know.

I don't know. I don't know why I'm even trying to pretend that I know. What's the latest you ask? Well, well, time is 1037am on Sunday, the 3rd of March 2024.

And Vinnie just turned two. I should have mentioned this. It was at the end of February.

I don't know the exact date. Let's have a look and see if I've got it on my phone. I've actually got pictures of him sent to me.

And where he's being held when he was born. And he's being held in the I got it on my phone. Or maybe not.

I thought I did. Let's have a look. Is it? I've got some pretty weird pictures on there.

Not weird, but just pictures of me and pictures of him. And for some reason, quite a few pictures of video covers, like you know, my videos. I don't know why they're on there.

And there's a Elvis Presley as well. I'm quite sure why Elvis Elvis Presley's on my on my thing. Oh, okay.

Well, there doesn't seem to be there are no pictures of Vinnie, like as a baby. And I did have those pictures. So I don't know what happened to them.

Oh, unless Oh, no, they were sent to me by text. And I don't have those texts anymore. Text has got deleted, I guess so.

Oh, well. Oh, no, I know what they were. They were sent to me on on what's that all? Chats? Chats? Yeah.

No. That's weird. Very strong.

Oh, no, gone. Oh, nope. Wasn't on there either.

That's strange. And this is Facebook. Facebook.

Could be Facebook was on Facebook and Messenger. If it was a messenger, I wouldn't find is way too many, way too many messages and messenger. Well, there was a picture of him.

But it was the end of February. Two years ago that he was born. So that was that 2022.

So he's technically a teenager. Which explains his attitude. His attitude is very, very teenager at the moment.

Very young, like 1213. Not all 1213 year olds because there's any 12 there's any teenager listening. I'm not talking about you.

I'm talking about the naughty teenagers. He's a naughty one. That's why that's what I mean.

So I don't know what the age group is of people watching these or listening to these rather. I don't know. There was a time when people used to sell and say that they'd listen with their kids and stuff.

And I haven't had really many messages at all for a long time. Really regarding in people listening and who they listen with and any kind of I don't know, review or feedback or anything. I don't really get much of that.

I go through periods when I do. But these days, I don't so much. And my website is back on by the way.

I got rid of my website for a day. So the website is still there back on. So let me bore you.com is back on and jasonnewland.com is back on.

I don't know. I had these brain farts and just what can I say? It's almost like I might be bipolar. Yeah, I think so.

Well, you know what? I've done worse things. Especially when it comes to this stuff. There's been times in the past when I have deleted stuff, like huge amounts of stuff.

There was once probably the worst. I deleted all of my podcasts once on Spreaker. When I was a spirit, I just deleted everything.

And this wasn't that long ago. This is before Spreaker started deleting me. And since a couple of years back, maybe three years ago, and things were going really well.

And for some reason, I had the good idea. You know what I'll do? I'll delete all the podcasts. And it's what I did.

And I did. I had to delete every recording in the process. So it wasn't just deleting the podcast, had to delete hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of different podcast episodes.

And then the next day, I thought, I remember waking up thinking, well, that was a bad dream. God, why would I do that? Why would I dream, dream, have such a weird dream about deleting everything and then realized it wasn't a dream. I contacted Spreaker and they just, they put it all back on.

They had it all saved from the day before. Which most website places should do really, well not should do, but they do have backups, servers and stuff like that. And I still don't remember why I did it.

Another time, well, I've done it loads of times with websites. Probably the biggest, biggest thing I did is I deleted my YouTube channel back in 2000. And I think it was 14, 2014.

And, or maybe 2013, I lose track around that time. Well, I did the YouTube channel since 2007. So was that six years, six or seven years.

And it was building, it was, it was, it got to the point where exponentially, the channel was growing. Every day, you know, percentage wise, it was just getting more views, each video is getting more views, more subscribers. And it was when it wasn't like hugely successful in any shape or form.

But it went from I think I had, I don't know, about 3000. Someone told me I had over 3000 subscribers, so I'll just take their word for it. I can't remember.

But it was just growing. It was, it was kind of where I wanted it to be. It's like, because I didn't, it didn't really, I used I had regular people visit my YouTube channel for years.

And I had the podcasts as well. And for me, to get 100,000 downloads, or 100,000 plays of my podcasts, not YouTube, but podcasts, was phenomenal in a year that was like, wow, that made me very happy. It, you know, it was cool.

And so the idea that I'm, I'm now getting probably three times that in a month is probably back then didn't believe that would happen. But it was amazing just to see. I mean, even when I stopped using SoundCloud, and I moved over to Spreaker, I think I'd had 200,000 plays in the previous year.

So this is going back to 2000. And 18. So still wasn't getting.

To me, that was a lot. I didn't realize that it wasn't, was it 250,000, but it was still a small amount compared to these days. But I was happy with it.

And I was just like, wow, I thought I was doing quite well. And then I tested Spreaker. And because Spreaker does, well, I didn't realize that the main, the main, the main audience is with Apple podcasts.

And second is Spotify with with me that is where Spotify is the second most listened to. And then I think cast box, I think, tune in and tune in isn't doesn't seem to be as I don't know if they even functioning at the moment. I'm not sure.

There's a few others Google podcasts, although Google podcast was supposed to close this year. They put a notice out saying that they were closing so I don't know what's going on there. And that's probably costing them millions of pounds every year just to keep it going.

Multiple, multiple millions probably. So they're whether or not they're making any money or losing it. I mean, ultimately, Google are not going to lose money, are they? I'm guessing just a guess, just just a tiny, tiny little guess that they're making billions profit every year.

Just just a guess. tiny. Do you reckon I might be right? I might be right.

I might be correct on that one. So yeah, the YouTube channel. I really don't know what was going in my mind that day.

I just still now I just think back is the quality. The quality of the video, the quality like the quality of the sound, the quality of the picture was just really, really bad. Yet people were watching the videos.

And I know it's not a lot, but I was getting 45,000 video views a month. But it gone up from about 33,000 to 45,000. And previously, that was like 28,000.

So it was it was incrementally increasing every month. And I mean, now I get practically nothing on my YouTube channel. And last it did it last 365 days.

Okay. Last 365 days. Last 365 days.

I've had 42,637 views on YouTube. So and I've been deleting some of the videos off of there. I'm trying to just clean it up a little bit.

Can't have anything with music because they just they don't like any of the videos I do music even though the music is copyright free. It's copyright free. It's free to use.

I could I could create a movie and use the background music as long as I credit which I do. I don't have to pay doesn't cost me anything. But for some reason YouTube doesn't seem to get it.

Are the new thing with YouTube is there anyone that use AI for video. So if they use an AI voices, which a lot of a lot of YouTube videos use AI voices. And a lot of YouTube videos, some some of them use AI faces as well.

So it's not a real person looks like a real person kind of, but it's not. And some, some are created using AI like the whole video. And what they're going to be doing apparently is putting a big sign across the video, not a big sign, but at the bottom of the video saying that this is created by AI.

I watched a video about this and they said, well, there's going to be so many of these notices on people's videos, they'll become like white noise, no one will even notice it anymore. But I do wonder, I do wonder how many people can really tell the difference between a normal voice and an AI voice. Like I can know, I'm pretty sure that for me in my mind, everyone should be able to.

Then I started thinking, but what if it's in a different accent? So somebody that does it, say the AI voice is in a Swedish accent, for example, and the person or in an English accent, an English accent, and the person listening has never really heard an English accent before. Maybe he's never been to England. And maybe they live in another country where English isn't the first language.

So it might just because the person speaking is going to sound strange anyway, to a non speaking, non English speaking person, or a non born speaking, the other nationality, however you want to word it. So to my ears, I'm trying to think of a South African accent. It's not an accent I hear that often.

So if an AI had a South African AI voice, depend on how well it was done, I might not realize it's AI. So technically, people can make videos where they can create the script using AI. They can then get the audio from AI, so get an AI to talk the words from a script, narrative, voiceover, whatever you want to call it.

And then they can, with AI creates a video as well, with prompts and with the script, or have an AI person. By the way, if anyone doesn't know what AI mean, it means ass injection. So it's just so that you know, and it's only going to improve as far as quality goes.

So there will come a time, not far away, we're talking maybe months, maybe a year, maybe, maybe longer, maybe less, when we won't be able to tell the difference, like no one will be able to tell the difference between the voice that's speaking over a video, or podcast even, or an advert. They won't be able to tell the difference between that and a real person, they just won't know.

Because once there's been perfected, and it will be.

In fact, I imagine they'll have accents that are even more clearer, because that's the thing will happen is you'll have, because some while some people don't, not everybody speaks clearly, I'm speaking specifically, clearly, as I make sure that I pronounce every single syllable. But I won't make that mistake, I guess. So when they're doing a regional accent, now say regional accent, I don't know if every country has regional accents.

I know England does. And Scotland does. I'm pretty sure Wales does.

I don't know about America. I know American does, isn't it? You got South and you got Texan accent, and I'm not quite sure about this, the Boston accent. I'm from Boston.

You from Boston? Yeah, I'm from Boston. And you got the New York accent. I'm from New York.

You from where? From New York. Where you from? I'm from Boston. Oh, where you from? I'm from Texas.

Yeah, from Texas. I don't know. I'm just making this up.

But do other countries have regional accents? Does Germany have regional accents? My dad's going to Germany. He's going on holiday soon to there. And yeah, my granddad went to Germany.

It wasn't really a holiday, to be honest. He did stay there for a couple of years. And I don't know.

Do other countries have regional accents? Didn't want to go back for some reason. I don't know. Canadians? In Canada, do you have? Because I know a lot of people from Canada listen.

Not a lot, but a lot of my listeners are from Canada. I mean, the top. Oh, this eases me really, really nicely into statistics.

Love it. Absolutely love it. Oh, brilliant.

And I'm trying to think. He's the top the last two months because I've only got the last two months stats now for the last two months, not the last two months. When was it? Was it October? So look, when was October? Insights last the last 12 months.

So October, November, December, January, February, March, October, November, December, January, February. Five months. March literally it's the third day.

So just give you an idea. This is just for one of the podcasts. I've got this.

Was it? Let me boil a sleep podcast in those five months, I've had 432,459 plays. and this year so far I've had 82,821 so that was over two months so I'm just looking at the countries the countries the countries see this is what surprises me because this this never used to be the case but it is now for just just for this podcast not for any of the others but just for this podcast the number one country of all time the number one country that listens to my Let Me Bore You To

Sleep podcast on the Let Me Bore You To Sleep podcast because you can also listen to them on the other podcast as well is the United Kingdom 166,000 plays next is United States of America 144,000 third Canada 47.7 thousand fourth is Australia 33.1 thousand Germany 8,424 isn't that interesting so I know everyone in Turkey isn't it weird Turkey's spelt wrong Turkey is one two three four five six is a six at 7,048 they've got Turkish spelt t-u-r-k-i-y-e what's that about according to this the most amount of people listen to me

in the United Kingdom are from Andover now that does not make sense to me there cannot be 30,000 people listening in one little place I say little but Andover can't it's just a town I think so they've got their stats wrong the stats are not giving correct areas it can't be and even if someone just kept playing and playing it you couldn't rack up that amount I don't understand it so hello to everyone in Germany hello to everyone in Turkey or Turkey the way it's spelt there but then maybe it's

we they don't pronounce Turkey the way we do United Kingdom so the United Kingdom that covers blimey that covers Wales Scotland it covers the Isle of Man the Isle of Wight does it cover the Falkland Islands as well I think so yeah it covers lots of different places covers Northern Ireland the north part of Ireland and trying to think where else Guernsey Guernsey it covers Guernsey Island and what's that detective oh John Nettles Bergerac he covers yeah Bergerac Island as well so all those little islands it covers so I mean

in the old days you know you don't go too far back he used to cover used to cover I remember minutes this is really seriously in my lifetime the things I've seen not the things I've seen the two countries I've seen given back by United Kingdom pretty sure Australia and Hong Kong Australia was like 1986 or something is that true when did UK hand back Australia there was something I don't know exactly I might have it wrong 1986 1986 that I remember it on telly I was 15 or something the

final constitutional ties between the United Kingdom and Australia ended in 1986 with the passing of the Australia Act 1986 an original title I would show you agree so it's oh and then next one when did Britain hand over Hong Kong to China come on blimey that's not come on this AI stuff's not working probably retrieved 2016 no it wasn't 2016 was it it was the hand over Hong Kong from the United Kingdom to the People's Republic of China was at midnight on the 1st of July in 1997 this event ended

156 years of British rule in the former colony which began in 1841 well so yeah that would have been a nice place to go on holiday I think this is population of 6.5 million back then I wonder a wow wow wow wow wonder I've got any I've been told on another platform I forget what it was that I have a Chinese following but from China people listen to me from China and it doesn't come up on the stats because they have to use a VVNN or these you know I think

that blocks the internet thing that makes the internet think you're from a different country so they they put VPN that's it so they're listening from a different country according to the to the internet thinks they're from a different country not China because China blocks them from getting access to the UK or you know the internet the Western the internet apparently but they can if you've got a VPN and you can just override it so that I find that interesting this is because China never comes up on the list although Hong

Kong does yeah and I wonder how many people from Russia listen hello my Russian friends if you are out there again they might have the same kind of thing going on with the internet I'm not sure that's a thing I honestly say yeah I've never never met what have I never met I knew I knew some Russian people when I was DJ and really liked them a lot I know you can't you can't judge a whole country on anything really on in on you know but you can get a rough

idea like generally a very general idea from the people you meet from that country and lovely absolutely lovely I met lots of Eastern European people people from Poland from what's the Czech Chechnya Chechnya where is it Eastern Europe I'll tell you which countries I used to people I used to work with Eastern Europe oh come on mate play the game Eastern Europe you bastard I'm sorry it's so good all the internet so lovely to do love to do a spell check you know do you mean this do you mean this

but I put in I spell Europe just a little bit differently and it doesn't even attempt to spell it for me so put Eastern E-A-S-T-E-R-N and then Europe okay I spelt it a little bit different to how it should be E-U-R-O-P-E is the right word that's it so I spelled it a little bit different and it just wouldn't even recognize didn't even attempt do you mean Europe no nothing didn't even attempt it this is supposed to be I mean this is all run by AI you know this is all like

supposed to be advanced so I put in Eastern and just spell Europe a little bit different like E-P-L-R-T-S-S-N apostrophe T-L-X-F-F-W and nothing nothing doesn't even try I don't know I don't think there's any future for the internet really it's geographically that went on too long didn't it don't worry about it as I think there's some people from Ukraine people from Russia Hungary Poland Romania had people from Albania and Bosnia and Croatia seriously there's lots and lots of people from all all different parts of Europe and there was also someone from

France someone from Italy and a lot of it was Eastern Europe because and I think basically what what would happen is someone would get a job and these are waiting staff or kitchen staff or bar staff in the club and they all cleaning staff you know whatever jobs there was and they would get their friends jobs which is a lot cheaper for an employer an employer rather than putting adverts in the papers and going through that whole process which cost quite a bit of money to just get your friend in

so that's kind of what happened quite a few students as well well a lot of students working in the as waiters and waitresses the waiting staff and the bar staff if I say most of them were students even the manager was a student I think so it was quite lots of different managers at different times but yeah so that's quite cool so I just I go on with all of them there was a group the Polish contingency as it was whatever I meant no Polish and they owned the kitchen they

were kind of in charge of the kitchen not the the chef was from Jamaica I think and he was there yeah so he we had a few chefs as well but the yeah so it's one two three four three or four people working in the kitchen but from Romania there is in the cleaner was Romanian as well and at the end of night because the the cooking all the food to be done by generally 10 o'clock the food would be done I even done it by 10 the show would go

on till about 11 then a disco would go on till about blimey I don't even remember that's bad is it two o'clock one two twelve one two I think one until two yeah two o'clock and it what they would do is look at the weekend they'd also have their friends come in and it that was that this little section that they'd kind of there was these airplane seats that were just hard to explain if you don't know the map the map of the building I've got it etched in my brain

although it's not there anymore but turn right you go to the door turn right and then you go through the two doors where the club is the stage is just ahead of you on the left you'd see it because it looks like a stage and then the right-hand side there's these old airplane seats and it's just sitting there and tables and chairs around there and I remember saying something you do realize this because you come here a lot it's not your land nothing you don't own it now god that could

have been that could be controversial I said it about the different European we're not European I can't muddle up anymore anymore now because it's parts of Europe that are also the Middle East how can it be Europe and the Middle East and isn't Africa near Spain which means Africa is also Europe so basically everything's Europe isn't it it's all Europe I mean some would argue what it used to be but let's you know let's not let's not go down the down the road of what used to be and blimey I

used to be able to see me Willie you know there's lots of things that used to be so I I think the point is I just I found them to be delightful I did delightful I just got on really well with it everyone it's not I'm not a people's person really I just kind of get on with I get on with people generally I'm not into being around people but they used to teach me words and I'd have a little drink with them sometimes and the thing I that one thing

I noticed was there was respect they kind of kept themselves in check or kept each other in check so if one got a bit out of that bit out of order maybe got a bit too drunk the others would rein them in and you know make sure they're okay and stop them from doing anything silly we seem to be the complete opposite what the natives of this land would do I don't know it's when I was young it would almost be like you'd be egged on to be more silly to

do silliest sillier things never been to Turkey never be to Germany hello to my German friends my Turkey friends my Brunei Darussalam I know we're Brunei so I don't know what the name Bruneian Brunei well people in Brunei hello so that was Germany is 8,424 Turkey 7,048 Brunei 4,130 Colombia's 2,989 hello my Colombian friends South Africa 2,111 hello my South African friends Belgium 2,102 Norway France Israel Brazil Malaysia's New Zealand Philippines so hello to all of you and Ireland even Thailand even someone in Thailand is listening to me it might

just be me yeah it might just be me that's not because I wasn't in Thailand but Finland Italy Japan Sweden Puro Rico Puerto Rico Switzerland Netherlands Indonesia Costa Rica Jordan don't know where Jordan is is it near the river Austria Cambodia Mexico Denmark Argentina India Egypt Hong Kong Russian Federation Poland United Arab Emirates Venezuela Chile Vietnam Mauritius Pakistan Saudi Arabia Virgin Islands and British Vanuatu Vanuatu Vanuatu Vanuatu Vanuatu I don't know what Vanuatu is do you know what Vanuatu is does anyone what's a Vanuatu oh no I've just deleted it

you bum bum bum bum bum he's trying to get my attention by making a really cute sounds like I'm not quite sure what he's what he's after I think he might be wanting attention it's cute I mean it does sound like a cat but other than that you know if you if you forget that for a minute he's quite cute maybe he is a cat do you think it's possible so I don't know what a point of what I was just given I'm not just telling the stats I was talking

about something but I can't remember what it was and that's that's on this podcast anyway the what did interest me though just if I look at this area so what two other podcasts and all my podcasts on my speaker but they're about music but I've only got three podcasts now on salecloud the ones with music but other than Let Me Bore You To Sleep which is also got music with them as well the two hypnosis sleeping deeply with music and the other one I've got all of my recordings on you

might say why they've got two podcasts well they just both got got listeners so it's just the way it just the way it's worked out so excuse me well I got two thousand seven hundred and seventy nine plays so far today so it's 1124 that's not bad what is weird on this one though is if I look at insights and I go to all time it's still the same amount of times from October onwards I've had 784 nearly 785 thousand plays but this is what I don't know why this is

okay I don't know why there's two podcast episodes that have really way above anything else that I've done on this podcast number two most popular podcast that's been listened to is a 10-hour long Let Me Bore You To Sleep for the 23rd of December last year number 1062 it's boxing time I've had 8368 plays like I don't know why why that particular one but what surprised me even more than that even more we're talking six or seven E's there is the number one track listened to on this particular podcast and

it's 10 hours long and it's number two help with addiction friends the friends is the name of it it's number two help with addiction 1st of February 2024 it's just over a month ago they're 10,495 plays 10,495 plays and I don't get it I don't know why I don't understand why anyone makes no sense to me why and and I genuinely mean that because I'm not sure if I don't know what I got for for the other ones help with addiction because there was two obviously that's because that was the

second one even the five hour one 1,810 help with addiction help with addiction number one where's number one ok so number one I got hardly anything for maybe it's because of an introduction maybe maybe there wasn't 10 hours I was just I did one did not do one with 10 hours for that one it's possible I didn't you know possible I didn't oh that's weird oh I did no I didn't maybe I didn't I just did a version without music which is why I haven't had the according to this yes

I didn't do anything with very strange but then what's weird is on the relaxed sleep and pain relief hypnosis which is the other podcast I've got on SoundCloud the exact same recording number two friends help with addiction 300 plays compared to 10,500 on this podcast so I don't know really I don't know I don't I don't get it I don't get it I don't I really don't I said I really don't get it no it's looks of it I only did one I did the introduction I didn't I didn't do

anything with music why that's very strange so yeah so that's kind of what's on with the podcast at the moment there you're doing all right plodding along you know plodding along oh we know we know we know plodding plodding plodding plodding plodding along and what last 28 days last 30 days 77 you know what actually possibly I don't know it depends it depends because at the moment I'm getting about 10,000 plus a day but there's been days where I've got a lot less than that so if in days when I've

got a lot more I guess I don't know how it just works out how it works out and it's not it's not all about statistics anyway is it you know statistics on everything all that personality what about conversational skills I've got good conversational skills I like eating bread I heard it's really really terrible joke but I'm gonna pass it on to you anyway don't blame me why did the man fall down the well he didn't see that well hey this is like Christmas cracker jokes but it's actually funny it's funny

it is well we are near an arrival of baby number three Molly you got another baby on the way I didn't know that well perhaps I did I just so so involved in myself blimey oh wow so congratulations Molly that's going to be on your new yeah perhaps I'll wait until you've had had your baby then I'll do a big congratulations and if you want Molly we can put a picture of your new arrival as the cover of the podcast if you want just just for say old times sake that's

not the right word isn't it nostalgic that's probably not the right word either you know just to be nice I guess maybe I've heard about being nice I've heard I've heard people talk about being nice and a few people in the past have said to me I should give it a go and I don't know I don't know quite sure with where do you start where do you start doing something you've never done before huh I just thought about it I thought about it but I don't know oh yesterday was

it yesterday now the first of March so the day before yesterday I did a relax or was it let me bore your pain away hello really he's biting me now let me bore your pain away relaxing is natural it was number eight and I think I posted it on my Facebook group I'm not sure how many people realize it was let me bore your pain away because unless you read the title it would look like you know Let Me Bore You To Sleep thing so I don't know how many people

started listening to it and thought what the hell was he talking about he's talking about that that's this that's not normal so hey hey at least you know at least you haven't accidentally listened to the let me let me hypnotize your prostate is that that's a weird one that's the weirdest one I've ever done hey hey let me hypnotize your piles away hello what are you doing are you begging do you want to go for walks do you want to go for a walk do you want to go for a

walk you do I think you do don't you do you want to go for a walk yeah do you want to go for a walk do you want to go for a walk do you want to go for a walk do you want to go for a walk do you want to go for a walk do you want to go for a walk I think you do don't you yes you do oh okay let's go for a walk walk um I don't know what I could do more I think I

do more let me bore your whatever away so I did do a let me bore your stress away yeah I'm not laughing at that just laughing at him because he's biting me I did a let me bore your stress away recording years ago and maybe I should do what other things let me bore your earwax away I don't know because I think what it is is I'm more inclined or attracted to this type of recording format where it's never never never never never never never really being a big fan of

being too serious and getting to the point you may have noticed that it doesn't mean that I'm not serious and it doesn't mean that I don't know what I'm doing or why I'm at least attempting to do so it's not for everyone you know that when I do a I know I'm focusing on pain relief but people the format is very laid-back and very just like this is it's just like this but bringing it back to the subject you know that I'm talking about and it's something that I guess needs

to be tested to see how useful it is and the more that people listen the more useful it will become and they might not necessarily know why it's becoming useful why it's helping it doesn't matter I don't think really why all that matters is is it you know if it is brilliant if not well just move on and give it a little bit of a try just it's got to go you know ultimately ultimately is my my philosophy has always been do you feel better or different in a good way

after listening to me blabbering on for an hour to how you felt before you decided to press that play button and if he answers yes then something positive has occurred it's a positive situation if you feel you feel more relaxed if you you find that not only have you found that your mind slowed down you didn't even notice that your mind had slowed down because you're not be focusing on your mind you're focusing on some of the silly things I've been saying they've been boring and pointless and just maybe random

if only you knew I'm reading off a script every word is script could you imagine blimey that'd be a weird AI thing wouldn't it yeah jet GP check GPT where it was called can you I'd like you to write an hour of me talking but I'm gonna be falling over my words I need to stutter at times I need to have a little bit of a lisp at times as well sometimes you know when it goes I get stuck but you know let's not make fun of me thanks and what

else I don't even realize I'm doing it I listen back like I'm going so I went for I went to sit down and just genuine it's not me it's like a I got I got a bit of a stutter sometimes it just hey I didn't even I didn't even know I had one until someone pointed it out so y'all mr. stutterer I said I didn't it's like it's okay I just I think I suppose because if you do enough talking like me and and you're willing to bear yourself like this

and just talk for an hour unrehearsed obviously this I mean how could this be rehearsed if this was rehearsed if this was actually a professional recording and it was edited by a professional editor they would and if they was to say well what what message are you trying to portray are you trying to come across what message are you trying to express during this hour of you talking and I said well you listen to it surely you can't you tell it's no I can't I've got no idea what it is

you're trying to do so okay um we're just trying to help people to relax and just to calm down and he said okay and she'd go away do some editing and come back and it'd probably be about 20 seconds of me talking that's how much useful stuff probably they'd get out of this if anything I mean I reckon if they if they wanted to get a good 20 minutes they'd have to get go through about 500 recordings probably to get a good 20 minutes of come really nice relaxing stuff or

they could just go to some of the relaxing hypnosis recordings which in some ways does make more sense but they're just not as much fun I quite like the idea of natural really natural relaxation really naturally letting go without without trying for the mind to slow down naturally and for the muscles in your body to start to relax as mine do when I when I make these recordings I definitely relax I find I got my eyes closed usually by the end of it and sometimes I feel that I could actually

fall asleep but I don't but I could but I don't but you know the same I could but I don't I keep going over it but sometimes I do I have fallen asleep making a recording and it's really strange you just hear me snoring I remember what once I did I was doing a recording and it's one of these ones so I'm in the living room doing this I hear a noise in the bedroom so I go into the bedroom I don't switch the recording equipment off so it's still recording

I go in there I think I'm just checking up on it was Andre when he was around so I was checking up on him make sure he's okay and he was fine so I'll have a little play with him and then I end up falling asleep on the bed and you can hear the whole building rattle with my snoring honestly I mean there's dust coming down from the ceiling you know there's there's actually newspaper reporters outside thinking it's an earthquake but I don't know what would a newspaper reporter be there

I don't know but yeah it's just that's a lie but I was quite surprised at how volumey it was how hearingly it was it's very a loudy very much so but that's pretty much it from me I think I could quite easily go on for about another hour but my little boy wants to go out for a walk so I'm gonna take him out and then I'll do some editing I'll edit this recording upload it and I wanted to do yeah um there's something else I'm gonna try and do as

well maybe later maybe tomorrow just wait and see I'll wait and see see what happens see see see see I said see see see see see see see oh see all right so thank you for listening remember to be kind to each other remember to be kind to yourself because you deserve to be happy just allow that idea to float around your mind and also remember that you need to be gentle with yourself it's important be gentle so if you have got your internal voice you know as a day goes

by if you do you notice and you will start to notice these things you start to notice when you're talking to yourself in a way that's really really maybe not so pleasant notice that just notice it and you can decide to not allow that to happen anymore take care lots of love
