Hello and welcome to Let me bore you to sleep. My name's Jason Newland. Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes.

So um I haven't made one of these for a few days. I did make one Friday, Saturday or Sunday and today's Monday. So three days.

The reason being is yoddy yoddy yoddy yoddy yoddy. Oh just some stuff happened on Friday and I was actually I started the podcast episode and I was about three minutes in and the door knocked and my friend was there and he was ill. So um I was trying to help him and everything and then just yeah the day kind of went by and some other stuff happened and that yeah anyway I can't really go into it but it kind of um I wasn't in the mood really at the weekend to do anything but I'm okay.

I'm all right now. Tired though. Very tired.

I've been very tired today. But yeah it was a weird weird situation but I can't really talk about it because it's not about me. I try and uh I try and focus on me, my life rather than other people because it's not fair to really talk about others.

One day I will in the future. In 30 years time I might want to do my story. I'll tell you about these times.

And I've got a couple of messages. I don't know if I've read it out yet. Oh excuse me.

This is on YouTube though. These are messages on YouTube. Brad writes Jason I feel so privileged to have found your sessions sir.

I listen daily and you've helped me for over a decade. Gratitude come in your way mate. Thank you or many thanks rather.

So yeah thanks Brad. Passerby commented this is on the You Cannot Be Serious which is the Relax and Sleep with Gnosis daily podcast. I laughed a couple of times and fell asleep before it was over.

Thank you. Well thank you. Connie replied to the to I don't know what my let me bore you to sleep Vinnie keeps eating my underpants one.

Jason Vinnie is still a puppy. I think when he hears you talking on the podcast he may think that you're talking to him but he's not paying much attention but he is not paying much attention to you and I guess he should have been taught not to chew up your underpants shoes or really anything. He shouldn't be chewing up but he's used to it.

Yeah I think you're right he wouldn't be doing it now if I'd have had him from the start.

But the one thing I will say about whatever training he had because I think he kind of got away with anything he wanted to and the original lady that had him you know after his first home was obviously you know when he was by the breeders but his first like kind of forever home well that wasn't a forever home but it was supposed to be is the lady she loved him and but she got ill so she couldn't couldn't take care of him so potentially if she really spoiled him and but wasn't able to do

some of the things she needed to do but that's the thing he got love and yeah it's great to have a dog that behaves and all that stuff but I think it's more important that they have love.

Yeah love is more important than anything else that's what I think.

So yeah I could have him trained to roll over and do somersaults and juggle penguins but the fact is you know there's a lot of training there's a lot of work involved in all that stuff and I just need him to do the basic stuff you know first of all to not run in the road when I'm walking him and that's for him not for me that's because I don't want him you know to obviously I say obviously the obvious worst case scenario when he just runs in the road and he does it if he

sees a cat on the other side of the road or even chases birds he's just a constant hunter but he was bred to do that that's in his DNA he was created his species was created I don't mean dogs but the um what is he Jack Russell Jack Russells were created to hunt they were actually a mixture of two different dogs I think and yeah they were created specifically for that purpose so he's he's got that in built in him yeah he's so gentle with other dogs and other people it's kind of weird he's got

you know he loves dogs and he wants to play with them and he loves people and I suppose from a from a perspective of sort of having him here having not raised him you know because he's it's nearly a year it'll be a year a year and about two weeks time a year old he doesn't go to the toilet indoors he hasn't done once unless he's doing it somewhere that I don't go like the kitchen or in the bath I wouldn't have noticed um but he's really good he lets me know when he needs to

go out and you know he's good on that way in that way but and I can prevent him chewing the clothes I can just put them up higher and not let him it's you know I'm putting them on the floor he's chewing them so it's you know it wouldn't be difficult to stop it but I kind of find it funny I don't know why I just do find it funny that he's just I think he's got through about 12 pairs of underpants so far it just it amuses me that he just does it and I

don't know why he does it it doesn't touch any of the other clothes just the underpants doesn't touch my t-shirts as far as I know um although not yesterday the day before I was downstairs in my friend's house and we were in the living room just talking his dog was in the living room as well very quiet wherever Vinnie was he was being very quiet and that's when I thought oh I better check I just figured he must have gone into the bedroom and gone to sleep on the bed he's very at home there you

know he loves it down there he loves he loves my friend he's I think if he could choose he'd probably have him as his dad so I just figured I was because I wanted to check to see if he was being a good boy or if he was at the door wanting to go out you know just checking he's all right but he wasn't on the bed he was looking he was looking up at me and my friend's shoes were well one of his shoes was not whole anymore he'd ripped out the inner sole and

chewed on the side of it I just I picked it up brought it into my friend I said look I'm responsible for what he does just tell me I'll buy you some new shoes or get you a new inner sole or whatever just you know it's my responsibility whatever he does is my responsibility because you know I left him I didn't I just forgot and it's not the first time he's done it in downstairs he's done it before he's done it in front of us there's some shoes underneath the table and we was talking and

all we could hear the sound but not know where it was coming from and Vinnie was underneath the table eating one of his shoes and he's he's just got no no sense that he's naughty now I'm not someone to shout at dogs I'm not really one of those I'm not a shouter not not my style not my thing so as far as disciplining him he doesn't really get disciplined I do talk sternly I very kind of when I want him to stop I do say stop and I do I will look at him and let

him know that he's been naughty but that's as far as it goes he's not gonna I'm I think I'm I'm the carrot rather than the stick process if you if you know what I mean I'm not really into that like shouting loudly and just like nah it's not me it's just not me my stomach's churning I don't know if you can hear it I had a tuna fish sandwich earlier because I'm a vegetarian and I don't know if I might I might just need to go to a toilet that's all let me just see test

it oh well that chair is squeaking again this chair it's terrible so yeah okay what else does she just uh what's her name say um so he shouldn't be chewing on anything but his toys yeah yeah well he is I know it's one of those things he's he's used to it and he does have toys he's got lots of toys and he's yeah he's got he's got toys got treats he's got bones all kinds of stuff I give him but I think it's the smell he likes the smell of shoes trainers sneakers whatever you want

to call them he likes the smell of feet I guess and maybe they're quite easy to chew on quite easy to rip up you know because I suppose it's easier to hold something down when you can you put your foot in it because it's a shoe isn't it so he can hold it down with his foot whilst ripping at the sides so yeah it's it's all right but he's got two pairs of my shoes that he started or three started on but I managed to grab one before he hurt it but he's got two pairs

that are his to rip and eat and everything and then the other two I've got a pair of boots that I've got on the windowsill and the shoes or the yeah shoe whatever they want to call them that I wear most days are also up so he can't he can get to them if he wanted to but they're kind of off the floor so I think his theory or his his mentality is anything that's on the floor belongs to him which is kind of makes sense in a way that you know he probably thinks I'm

just putting it on the floor so he can play with it and eat it and do what he wants so all I need to do is just make sure things are not on the floor get a basket get get something to put the shopping the shopping the washing in yeah but it's okay I'm not that bothered to be honest I like to moan about it but I'm not too too fussed I think it's quite funny okay what else he gets a basket of his toys to play and put them in a place he can get

his toys anytime he wants them and when he cries he wants something or he needs to go to the bathroom or he wants water yeah I know that that's the so yeah I know he does that he cries when he wants it see if he wants to go out he wants to play fight so he wants to play with me and he wants to bite me and all that stuff he wants to play fight or he wants a treat they're normally the three things that he will moan or cry like that now there's I think

the fifth the fourth one would probably be he just wants my attention he doesn't want me sitting here talking into the microphone because he doesn't understand it he doesn't realize what why would he why would he know I mean doesn't even make sense to me I don't understand it really not really the other only other thing really that he likes is to go and play with his friend downstairs so sometimes he wants to do that yesterday he was going and I realized his bowl was empty the water bowl was empty so I like didn't realize

because when the dog downstairs comes up he just one lick of his tongue empties the whole bowl because he's the size of a dinosaur so sometimes I don't realize he's drunk all the water but he does get through it though in the night time Vinnie actually drinks pretty much a whole bowl nearly a whole bowl of water at night and he doesn't do wee-wees anywhere wee-wees doesn't do a woo-woo and mine do that all the time when they're not when they are still not being being behaving I get water in a squirt of my squirt

and if they're misbehaving and mine stop because I don't want to get squirted now I just have to show them ah yeah I suppose better than vinegar in the eyes isn't it I was yeah squirtable it's just I've got so much why not I mean I've got a fair bit of electrical equipment in this room I don't want to be getting water on stuff and I know that um he got wet once oh yeah we went out for a I'm sure I poured water over him or something no no that's it he I had to

wash him because he got some he got a bit um no no he got wet that's it we went out and it was raining really hard and he came in and he waited till he got into the living room and then just did that thing you know what dogs do and just sprayed water everywhere and I don't want water all over my stuff I mean there's you know my laptop there's the recording equipment the microphones they don't sit well with water it's not a good mix yeah so yeah well that's good thanks thanks that Connie

oh it's I appreciate your message I'll um I think I'm gonna there's the tv's on this big old wardrobe well it's not old but it's a wardrobe without the door sideways on the floor and there's this big you have the size of the underneath empty well it's not empty there's bits in there and that's where all of Andre's stuff used to be so I might do the same for Vinnie start putting all of his stuff in there and then you know and then he can take it out and then perhaps every couple of days I'll

just tidy up and put all the stuff back where it was and let him spread stuff out because it is a mess in there since I've since I've had him and I've tidied up and he still manages to really I've just noticed something on the floor that was not there before I don't know but I think there's a stain on the carpet that I don't think was there before I don't I don't remember making it I normally get to the toilet in time I don't normally look at the carpet because it's just horrible and Andre

absolutely ruined this carpet it's really windy outside the temperature's um gone down a lot there's actually a weather warning this morning it's going to be minus three like it's going to be cold in winter it's winter supposed to be cold it's going to be cold in winter what are you telling us it's going to be cold yeah it's supposed to be guaranteed I bet you they'll still say it's the warmest winter we've ever had even though we've had some really cold weather during this winter I get I bet the news was like yep the warmest

winter we've had on record since 1873 wow I bet you yeah even though we had the coldest day in history during this winter it's like minus a million or something there there chilli there there chilli it's actually the week that I got Vinnie was the week of the snow now that probably means nothing to most people listening but where I live we had we had snow it's kind of obvious for the story isn't it don't get snow very often the last time really had much in the way of snow was let me think 31st of

March last year I think was the last time we had snow in my memory like where I live and the reason I say that is because I took a video of it and I'm on Facebook does it open up on this iPad yeah it does it does wow I've got messages has anyone noticed on Facebook it's gone very weird I don't what I mean by that let me just tell you I mean see I don't go on Facebook much and I really should start sharing my stuff again because that's why I'm on Facebook but I

just haven't bothered sharing my podcasts or my videos on social media I haven't done it for months I don't even know why really just I guess because I don't use Facebook it's just something I don't really go on to anymore it doesn't really it doesn't excite me the way it used to oh so let's have a look messages nope where's where's the just the Jason okay Merry Christmas okay so that's just my the last thing I posted was Merry Christmas that was 26th of December the one before that was 18th of December 8th of December

so it's not like a long time since I posted stuff but it's you know a fair distance I had a picture of me when I was a little kid wow oh blimey you can see it's me though you can see it's me with me eyebrows what was it uh so where where's the this just the normal home okay home that's it right what I noticed is there's less of friends posts that I see it's more adverts or these stupid groups that aren't they're just like pointless so my first page was just on the home page

there's a picture from one of my one of my friends which is nice and then there's a sponsored advert then there's suggested for you it says here BBC Happy Valley why would that be suggested for me and then there's Barbara's chat room thoughts that group would like I don't know what that is then Think and Grow Rich Exposed sponsored so that's another paid advert isn't it which I don't mind because Think and Grow Rich is something that I'm very into all that stuff but still it's an advert then there's a friends thing and then reels

and short videos okay well it's a little bit different than it is on my on my phone but there's another sponsored a suggested thing which is sponsored Tony Robbins sponsored so it's quite a few just you know those webs those Facebook groups are just absolutely I don't know what the right thing is what the right name is for them let me have a look if I can find some I'll find one that can explain what I mean what I mean where are we like something like remember the 80s or remember the 90s or this those

kind of just another sponsored one BreakthroughGuitar.com yeah by the way I just want to say a big shout out and hi to any of my listeners listeners in Turkey or Syria hope that you and your families are well and safe or anyone that's been visiting that area okay she's not working I just I had it's on my phone more than on my actual that's strange that's very weird and I genuinely kind of knew what I was talking about until I realized I didn't know what I was talking about oh anyway that's not really important I just there's a lot of sponsored

I realized that's how they make the money and you know and good for them there's nothing wrong with it but I it's a lot it's like literally every every second picture there's a sponsor or every second post there's someone's been sponsored I just uh I'm not sure who it's Ulebut if you know what I mean I'm not sure yeah what's this kissy says don't continue engaging or attempting to keep the peace at the expense of your inner peace yeah I agree with that I've been doing that quite a bit trying to keep the peace and

some people don't want to live a peaceful life they don't like it they're bored of it they enjoy chaos they enjoy bickering arguing and chaos drama some people like all that stuff and who am I to get in the way of other people's pleasure I just don't it's just not for me I'm not into that I'm not into that chaotic drama always you know I don't know it's hard to explain it's just all that stuff it's not it's not good I don't like it very peaceful very peaceful person I don't mean that in like oh

I'm good I'm peaceful no I mean I need to have peace I need to have a relaxed environment I'm not I don't deal with stress well I don't you know I need I you know that's why it's a big reason why I try and help people with their stress to help to relax people listening and all the things that go with it I try and do that because of you know partly because of my own you know extreme issues I've had over the years and for all the problems that come with having a little dog

I say all the problems it's mainly the barking and the responsibility and like I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do you know it really does need a garden so I'm gonna need to move away from here at some point but I need to move away from here anyway because I don't like it and it's not healthy it's a toxic place to live and I what I have noticed though is I think that he's good for me he's good he calms me down certain ways he you know like when I'm when he's cuddling me

and I'm cuddling him or whatever it's it's actually it's what I need it's just really helpful helpful that's probably not Vinnie you're really helpful thank you I guess it's just something that I haven't had for a while since Andre and it's nice to have that again it's different but it's still you know it's still nice to have that what on earth is that anti-inflammatory and expectation to if I only knew that many of us what did I just I just watched this advert this is a sponsored video but it looked like it showed uh something

that it's not supposed to see on videos I wonder if I can rewind it wow it's 20 this is sponsored book of remedies it's called the video is 26 minutes long oh come on simply take a spoon sorry about that I shouldn't have let that go I'm trying to put it back to it's it won't let me rewind it okay here we go rewind here we go now that is not what it showed a minute ago it shows something very different what it was an onion but it looked it didn't look like an onion it

looked like something a body part that's something to get excited about let's have a look someone's posted something then say I'm trying to demonstrate if someone is listening please may I please have one person post repost copy and repost so let's see whether or not that's copied from the internet if it is I never repost stuff that's copied yep yeah it's such a shame it's all over the place everywhere there's something about copying and reposting something and they never give the credit to the original person that said it it's almost like they're saying it themselves

and they're not saying themselves because even regardless of how important it is the message they're just copying and pasting what someone else has said and in that same copy and paste I don't know it's it's a bug bear of mine a little bug bear that's all it is a little bug bear it's not a bad thing it's just I don't know unoriginality maybe but you know it's still important stuff I just I think I've become immune to them because I've seen thousands upon thousands of them since what 2005 2006 whenever Facebook came out so I've

been seeing those messages for what seems like forever and I just you know I mean I just I remember I had a friend who had never been on Facebook before and he was like really into all this stuff like wow um I can't believe no one's reposted this this is really important it's like no what you don't realize is well firstly you're right it is important what's in the message but the people the reason people don't repost them is because firstly it's not original they've seen the same message possibly many many times over the years

the same worded message and they don't repost it because they don't want to annoy their own friends on Facebook by posting stuff like that because it's everywhere and you know I don't know I think maybe maybe Facebook and Twitter have a responsibility to instead of posting sponsored adverts between you know every two or three posts from friends maybe post a message of mental health awareness or check in your body and things like that you know just you know every maybe every five posts have a what do you call them um what do they call those

things um not an advert kind of it is an advert isn't it but as promoting well-being a well-being promotion and just something from mental health something from physical health something for people bereavement depression all different things but just maybe not heavy but a light-hearted way of looking at it I know not everything can be looked at light-heartedly but well this is all serious isn't it sorry I don't know I think because I've become immune and especially when something's about mental health issues which is very close to my to my I think I said ball bag

very close to my to my life and has been with me since I was a small child so you know I do care I became a counselor because I cared and I wanted to help people who were struggling with mental health stuff and I did for a few years that's why I started doing the videos and the podcasts because I wanted to help people that were having mental health issues you know problems with sleep with stress anxiety and just generally be helpful in some way so you know I'm not in any way sort of putting

down people posted messages at all it's just maybe there's a different way of doing it perhaps where people notice and take notice because that all I mean some people post I don't know if they still do it I'm rarely on Facebook but they used to post stuff like this particular thing is very serious and if you care if you care about your family and friends you will repost this onto your own Facebook page copy and paste and post I know that not everybody will post it and I know those people that will I know there's

people that won't or something like that real guilt trip going on that that's not a carrot for anyone that's the stick isn't it that's not the carrot it's not a way to get people to do things you know kindly by being that's quite unkind isn't it unkind way of manipulating someone so yeah I remember my friend saying I can't believe no one's reposting this so yeah reread it they're basically having a go at their friends and family saying well I know who's going to repost this if you don't repost it you don't care no there's

nothing to do about caring it's like okay we're going to repost every single thing you ever get we wouldn't have time to do anything else imagine if everyone copied and reposted every one of those messages from over the years that's all Facebook would be yeah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah ding dong wingmong Tommy that's a big drink oh Ali um discover how to have an out-of-body experience that's another thing I'm kind of you know hypnotists right you know hypnosis the stuff that I've sometimes do you know there's this thing about like oh

well hypnosis has got a bad name because of stage hypnosis people either don't believe it exists because it looks ridiculous uh because of the things that people do on stage on television you know for these shows millions of people have seen these shows over the years haven't they wherever in person cabaret shows in a in a pub in a bar in a theater or on television you know they've been seen by millions getting people to believe that they're aliens and they're speaking an alien language or that their feet are stuck to the floor or that

the hypnotist here is their the biggest celebrity crush now it's entertaining I used to love that stuff I did I watched it you know Paul McKenna I watched every single episode of Paul McKenna's show in the 90s 80s or 90s whenever it was late 90s early 90s long before I even even considered getting involved in hypnosis and you know I wasn't sure if it was real or not I didn't know if that stuff was true or if they were just acting and I was pretty sure that I saw the same people in more than one

show but you know who knows in fact I actually met someone when I was doing when I first moved to London doing a comedy and I said he was on a Paul McKenna show he said yeah and he said he and he said he was an actor but that's as far as he said he didn't say anything like derogatory derogatory derogatory of the show or anything he wouldn't give any secrets away but the hypnotists seem to be going in a different direction now starting going into the more I don't know what the right correct word

is I do but I don't want to use that word I'll give some examples things like you know the third eye astral traveling things like that like on YouTube and I've seen videos of people doing that and but it's almost like they're seriously doing it like it's serious like they're like you know they're like doing that to themselves and you know that that for me that's not hypnosis got nothing to do with hypnosis I can see the connection but you know there's connections between lots of different things isn't there there's a connection between a wheelbarrow

and a tank you know got wheels there's connections but yeah yeah another thing it's not like was it age regression past life things like that I just don't see how what that's got to do with hypnosis now I've got books on the subject so you know I know that there's lots of people that earn a living doing this stuff I've got a friend a close friend that did it and it was really useful for him and I can see how it could be useful for people from a therapeutic perspective so I guess I do I

kind of understand but to me if you're if you're gonna use and proclaim that hypnosis is a genuine thing a genuine therapeutic tool which has been studied and has proven to be useful and works and what you wanted it to be taken seriously in medicine then we need to move and completely move away from things like astral traveling and past life regression and any kind of spirituality stuff for it to be used because we're just kind of moving into the voodoo voodoo territory you know there's a reason why you don't see a Ouija board in

the operating theatre when the surgeons are not you know they're not they haven't got a little doll and they're kind of like trying to make the person better by stroking the doll and doing you know know that they're doing medical work on the person and for me that's what hypnosis is it's an actual thing but then the problem is it can't technically be explained because it's dealing with the unconscious mind or the subconscious but some people like to call it I call it the unconscious mind so it can't really be proved but then the proof

is in the pudding isn't it the proof is in the results okay so electricity is quite a difficult one to prove me you can prove it because we use it radio waves things that we don't even we can't see with the naked eye atoms I mean look what's being done with something so small as an atom and what that can create I saw a video the other day where I realized that you can actually download from a computer onto DNA human DNA and it absorbs it not only that you can also well you know you

can upload it to the DNA and then you can download it again so you can upload it and you can go with a completely empty disk and download it onto the empty disk and it will be perfect and you can I'm talking molecules of DNA which is it a DNA it might have been something else uploading data to DNA DNA we established a genetic homogenous secondary reprogrammed system using gator what is gator in DNA gator binding protonic constraints of okay it might not be DNA it's it's how to upload DNA data to my heritage no

that's not what I want maybe it's protons it's one of the small things in your body I'm not talking about the obvious small thing I'm talking about the well obvious to me I'm talking about the I think it's DNA what's the other things motor motor something it's any is it's those things and that connects together and stuff updating the uploading data I've got gator that's probably why it didn't work data upload raw DNA data if you had DNA tested you can import your no that's not what we do no DNA sites you can upload road

or audit no DNA sequencing upload your raw DNA and receive free DNA reports on health wellness and genealogy I might do that just for fun uploading data to brain mind-up blazing is a speculative process of whole brain emulation no no I'm sure it was that I'm sure it's a start of my own service next is a what happens if you decides behind I'm probably basically this bit is all about uploading our brains to a computer so like our minds into a computer the concept of mind uploading is rooted in the various reasonable premise that the

human brain like any system that obeys the laws of physics can bla bla bla well we're not according to this thing I'm not I need to double-check some of these videos I watch on YouTube it was a bunch of scientists saying it but then there might be whack jobs you know they might I mean look at how many scientists think that the world is flat just because it's a person's a scientist doesn't mean that they're seeing reality they're living in reality they might be who knows the flat world society I always got these things I

was clearly not flat if anything it's lumpy no it can't be if it's flat you could just walk and walk and walk and walk in a straight line and well I guess if it's flat you'd fall off wouldn't you but which is what people used to think in the old days but then you can't do that anyway because all the mountains and the hills see you couldn't just walk and walk and walk without having to climb therefore the world is not flat it's lumpy it's got bumps and it's got holes in it but that's enough

about Mike so yeah I think must've been weird because you think about it when you know I don't know how long quite a few quite a few centuries ago the sea was out of space wasn't it it was space the final frontier people believed that some people believed you know where they lived that's all there was that country so people lived in England for example there was nothing else there was the sea and there was nothing else and they didn't have boats and when they did get boats they thought that they were gonna just drop

off the end of the earth because that's as far as they could see depending on where they lived because there are part you can't you see land from this country you can see I think France and now on a clear day but that's besides the point is they might not know you must not perceive that as being land because it doesn't we know it's land because we know it's there it's Daya so that was our space so when they people did travel and they went to another country and they landed on that country imagine how

weird it would be especially like landing in India or Africa and seeing all those monsters like crocodiles and elephants an elephant that would be like it it would be a dinosaur wouldn't it be for an English person for example or a French person or someone from the Italia to see an elephant for the first time would be shocking or a zebra or the other one of the zebra with a long neck I mean imagine a giraffe that's it a giraffe a tiger a lion or a bear I mean it's just or a tortoise or whale

can you imagine seeing a whale for the first time I mean they must have like because I didn't know especially in a country like here there was nothing here we had probably a bit bears we had bears I think probably at some point we had wolves and stuff in this country I mean there's a book isn't that The Wolves of Willoughby is it The Wolves of Willoughby High or The Wolves of Willoughby or The Willoughby Wolves or Willoughby Bear but I can you imagine the excitement but also the like confusion of it what what on

earth and then meeting other people that look different and we all look different but that would just be for everyone involved like what on earth is going on that's been weird wouldn't it for everyone yeah I mean I can't I try and imagine what it would be like to go somewhere new and I suppose know nothing about the place not not know that it even exists because you know when you go on holiday you get on a flight or you get on a ferry cruise you pretty much know that your destination where you go and

you know that exists it's an actual place you know there's a hotel there it's an actual country and there's languages and this monetary stuff and you know but to just be aimlessly flying around until you see land and just land in like we don't know what's here like it is an airport and you know being a ferry just like oh it's like land over there I think the thing is if you've got seagulls when you come when you come to a bird in the sea it means you need land see I used to be in

the sea cadets I remember this stuff although I think I also saw it on I saw on Vikings a TV show because they were stranded and they were in the middle of nowhere for days and days and then they get excited because they see a bird they realize that when they see a bird it means they need land they might have had a similar thing with Moses as well Moses with the not the igloo the the big boat and all the animals and that so I think didn't they have birds and they realized the birds

came along oh we're near land or there's now land again something like that not realizing actually water can't come but everything is in the world is already here all the moisture is all here so yeah the the water can be distributed so it can rain more in other parts of the world and be drier in other parts at different times or whatever but there's only a certain amount of water that's my understanding is you can't come from nowhere it's not created nor destroyed like energy so to have the whole world in his hand to get

the whole world in his hand brain uploading TV tropes oh let's have a look at this people love the word tropes don't they all tropes artificial this is artificial intelligence is hard why reinvent the wheel when you got plenty of humans walking around who will miss one right what what is this about brain uploading alternatively might be one of those humans looking for easy immortality either way once you finish scanning the brain you end up with a file that you run in a physical stimulator and presto you have a computer that remembers being human if

you do it carefully enough the original brain won't even notice it happening so this is just a concept anyway why is it called TV tropes I don't know what tropes a trope is a storytelling device or convention a shortcut for describing situations the storyteller can reasonably assume the audience will recognize tropes are the means by which a story is told by anyone who has a story to tell we collect them for the fun involved tropes are not the same thing as cliches cliches cliches cliches they may be brand new but seem trite and hackneyed they

may be thousands of years old but seem fresh and new they are not bad they are not good tropes are tools and the creator of a work of art uses to express tropes are tools that the creator of a work of art uses to express their ideas to the audience it's pretty much impossible to create a story without tropes here's a list of indexes split into conceptual jokes okay well whenever I've heard the word tropes it's always in it's never positive there's been a lot well a little while back there was a lot of use

of the word tropes was used a lot and on the radio and TV and all that stuff these experts and never trope so never trope so basically story it's a story a story is not bad it's neither bad nor good depending on the story I guess yeah right I need to go to the toilet so I'm gonna go and take the little one out for a quick walk let him do to toilet as well do the toilet go wee wee poo poo whatever I think he's done three today yeah I think he has you know

L2 he's done at least two anyway and I'll speak to you tomorrow so remember to be kind to yourself be gentle with yourself because you deserve to be happy lots of love bye my chair is so squeaky
