Hello and welcome to Let Me Bore You to Sleep. Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes. Now I am making this podcast while I'm watching a boxing So what I thought I might do is actually talk to you while it's on.

Yeah, unfortunately I was in the middle of watching it and oh I see it's on again it cut out for some reason So the, if I get it a little bit closer to me That's better Ah, so it's basically Mayweather, Floyd Mayweather is fighting KSI's brother Edneji or something Deji, that's it, Deji So I'm watching now Anthony Taylor versus Jack Fincham And they're around one of four So this is the undercard Anthony Taylor is a, I don't know who Jack Fincham is, I think he's a YouTuber It's his first fight Anthony Taylor is a, I

think he's an MMA fighter And he's clearly going to win Yeah It's weird though, he's really, oh man, they should stop this It's, he's so outmatched Why would someone who's never had a fight in their life want to go against a professional fighter He's getting beaten up, it's not even He can hardly sit down It was balance, it's the end of the round, he was balancing himself to sit down It's, yeah, I think they should stop it But hey, it will get stopped I think But maybe not yet, maybe it'll be when he gets put

on his bum So for those that don't know who Mayweather is Floyd Mayweather is a very very famous ex-boxer, ex-professional boxer So he, I think he retired about five years ago And he was a professional boxer for about 21 years And he won multiple, multiple world titles in different divisions And he was unbeaten as well I think he's got 50 professional fights unbeaten So he's the only, only boxer in history Professional boxer that's had 50 unbeaten fights Without any other, you know, some people have had more than 50 fights unbeaten But they've also had lots

of losses along the way as well But to have just 50 fights without any losses, he's the only one so far that's done that Rocky Marciano had 49 fights In fact, what's his name?

Larry Holmes was about to reach that target when he fought Michael Spinks in 1985 I think it was But then Michael Spinks beat him, twice in fact They had a rematch and he beat him again in the second fight as well Which is, I don't know, I watched both of those fights I wanted Larry Holmes to win Because I wanted him to, you know, reach the 49 fights unbeaten Which I think he could have done if he'd have gone and fought someone else That's obvious I suppose But if he'd have took an easy fight Instead

of Michael Spinks who was the unified light heavyweight champion Olympic gold champ, you know, he was like a One of the top pound for pound fighters in the world Possibly above Larry Holmes at the time So I'm watching this, I'm drinking a can of coke Anthony Taylor is just playing around now He's not even putting much effort in He might have been told to take it easy Like, take it, you know, he's clearly going to win So maybe he wants to take it easy on him Because he was going full on Unless he's tired, it's

possible Because he's not a boxer Not officially Well he is now, but Oh, sorry they're bringing the cards out So yeah, I'm recording this on my portable travel mic That way I can sit down and just chill out And I'm not doing a video I'm just going to be recording and recording it on my iPhone So I've got my headphones on And I'm watching the boxing on DAZN So you can't hear it, you know, because that's not allowed I'm not allowed to broadcast even the audio from a live sporting event I'm getting into so much

trouble So I'll just talk through it Which is weird because if I had someone here I'd want them to shut up I wouldn't want them to talk through it The last fight I watched with someone They just talked all the way through And I was like, I want to watch the fight So I've got to be on my own Plus if there's someone else in the room There's chances I'm going to want to talk I end up interrupting myself Okay, this is round three of four Jack Fincham hasn't really done anything He's still done a

hell of a lot more than I would Well, the one thing he's done that I would do that he hasn't done is cry and run That's what I would do You win!

That's what I would do Whoa, stop hitting each other It's not nice Blimey So yeah, I've been redesigning my office today That's my living room It's my office Trying to figure out the best way to have everything So I've moved my bookcases I've got two bookcases behind my desk With my chair and the desk And then the other desk is facing So you could have two people facing each other at two different desks And I've got two chairs on it I've got a chair on each one And I've got two microphones set up One for

the normal podcasts And the other one the other binaural ASMR microphone set up I've got the recording studio to the side So that's out of the way And the iPad and the laptop on the other table So it's kind of It's not finished There's still a fair bit to do But I've been thinking maybe I'll get a microphone Or one of my microphones and have it here Just here And I've got this one If this sounds okay If it sounds all right Because I'm not like right close to it But if it sounds okay I

might just do a few Sitting here Because it's quite comfortable Just to sit back with my feet up And I don't need to be doing it whilst watching telly But just it's nice to relax a bit So I don't know I guess I'll just have to see I've got my phone on do not disturb And I don't know what kind of level Or quality sound this would be I used this when I was away earlier in the year And it worked fine Plus there was quite a bit of background sound And it still worked okay

So maybe Just maybe it'll be fine I think I might have been a little bit closer to the microphone last time And to be fair there might be background sounds And if there is I do apologize But I can't hear it because I've got my headphones on They're noise cancelling so I can't hear Probably wouldn't hear if someone was knocking on the door or anything Although I haven't got them I haven't got the volume up very high On the headphones What should I have to eat tonight?

I'm thinking fish fingers I just got a little bit of a thing for fish fingers today for some reason I don't know what you think Sometimes I like to have a little It's a it's I don't know what you want to call it A little pile up So something like fish fingers Or let's say toast With cheese on top So two slices of toast Two slices of cheese And then four fish fingers So two fish fingers on each bit of toast And then some baked beans on top And that's a nice tasty Very very tasty

Right it's 43 seconds left of the fourth round And then that's it for this And you know I'm thinking good we can just have a normal podcast No no there's other fights This really is going to be boring Which is kind of the point really It is supposed to be boring I can't you know it can't be exciting in every podcast Exciting I wonder if I've ever been exciting I can't remember the last time I was even excited Never mind being exciting He's the commentator is saying it's a great fight from both guys No it

wasn't The other guy the only thing you can say about the other guy Is he's got one a heck of a chin Because I think most people would have gone down Wow so I don't know who he is this bloke I've not heard of either of them to be honest Oh Anthony Taylor has had six boxing fights Okay I didn't realise that I've never heard of him So it's just they're getting excited now Mayweather has entered the building However I'm behind on the whole thing So Tommy Fury is going to be fighting in this And

I started watching this probably 50 minutes after it started So I had to kind of rewind it a bit So I fast forwarded bits I'm still about half an hour behind So the next fight's about to start I don't know who's fighting It's a very very dark picture There's a bloke with green hair It's very dark Like the picture is very dark They turned all the lights off They normally have the lights on in the ring So Franklin Manzanilla and Jada Herrera I don't know who either of these people are All right so it's brighter

now Oh so okay well it's been a knockdown straight away So Manzanilla's a former boxer But Jada Herrera is I don't know who he is but he's just knocked him down I always used to think that if any of these YouTubers Got in the ring with an actual proper professional boxer That they wouldn't last a second but It doesn't seem to be the case in every situation Of course they wouldn't be able to match a world champion But I think what it is is people like Jake Paul And his brother Jack I think they They're

getting trained by the top people They're getting like the best training you can get Sparring with the top sparring partners Because there's so much money in it And if anyone fights them they're getting like a Some of them are all a high career athlete And they're getting paid more earnings than they've ever had And they might even have been a former world champion And they're getting paid more than they've ever earned before Because they're fighting a famous YouTuber And they're probably all getting millions I think Jake Paul is I'm not sure if he's running this

show or not But he likes to share the money out He likes to make sure that everybody gets paid Almost equally Well, I don't mean equally but And he's a champion of female boxing as well I think he manages Serena, not Serena Williams What's her name?

She's a big name in boxing but He got a Like a really big name Really really big fight And put her on the undercard to his fight Because even now Women's boxing is Although it's getting more popular It's still years away from being Anywhere near the men's boxing In popularity One thing you can say or I can say Because I can, I'm just about to say it Is when it comes to women's boxing There's never a boring fight Regardless of how some of them are like Novices some of them, they're not You know, is it quite new to the game?

They never would have had this opportunity 10 years ago Five years ago even But they give it their all They really do I've never seen two women fighting Where they haven't both given it their all And I have seen hundreds of fights Hundreds over the years Where one of the men have not given it their all They've almost been running the whole way Women don't run When they're in boxes, female boxes don't run They don't hide, they don't avoid They don't, you know, they get in there They get stuck in And regardless of the outcome

They give it everything Got a lot of respect for female boxers And you would think, well it's just the same Men, women, boxing, it'd be the same with both It's really not It's really not In some ways women are levels above the men Just from that Wow, sorry The referee broke it and the other boxer punched him twice It's not a real fight, is it?

Well it's a point, isn't it? Just give them a point, who cares? I saw a fight last night And it was a big It was the, is it Franklin Love?

And basically He threw his opponent out of the ring He pushed him over the top rope And the referee disqualified him Like that was the end of the fight And there was such a commotion Such a commotion And they said, I didn't push him We saw you do it I mean, you know, if you're going to do stuff like that Do it when there's no cameras on you And it's not being televised live around the world Wasn't me Yeah, it was you We saw it So the bloke with blue, no, green hair Has knocked him down three times I think the third time was more of a push I don't know who this blue hair, blue, green, green?

Yeah, green I don't know what his deal is or who he is or Why he's, where he's come from Unless he's actually a boxer But then I'm thinking, why have they got a veteran boxer in? Because he's I think, I don't know He's, I think I remember a Herrera Herrera?

Yeah, I think he's like a former world champion But he is, I think he's about 70 Last night, Ricky Hatton fought Herrera Not Herrera, but Herrera Herrera is the man that took Nassim, Prince Nassim Hamid's unbeaten record And Hamid retired He had one more fight and then he retired But what he didn't know that is, the man that beat him Would go on to be, was already really, really good And had multiple world titles But would go on to win more world titles And become a legend in boxing Which means there's absolutely no There's no

shame in being beaten by a legend And he wasn't knocked out, he was beaten on points So have a rematch But he didn't, he was He said that he retired because his hands kept breaking Which is fair enough But why did he come back and have another fight?

And the fight he had was one of the worst fights you'll ever see Because he didn't even bother, he was bored He was fighting someone that wasn't on his level That he could have beaten with his eyes closed Probably couldn't beat with his eyes closed but But he didn't even try So he was in his fight, lost his world titles And people were excited to see him come back And he just didn't do it, he struggled Because he was bored, he just I guess he didn't have that Not being unbeaten didn't suit him He needed

to be unbeaten and unbeatable Once that was off the table I think maybe he felt vulnerable Maybe he, he didn't like the feeling Connected to that I don't know It's a shame because he could have gone on He could have won multiple world titles He could be downed as one of the greatest boxers of all time For instance the same In fact I think he was one of the greatest of all time He was brilliant And he had an off night I think one of the things that used to annoy me is Well on YouTube

They'll show pictures Of Nassim, Prince Nassim Going backwards Like falling backwards after being hit It looks like he's being knocked around the ring Well that was his style He'd get hit and he'd Instead of taking the full impact of the punch He'd kind of throw himself backwards That was his style That's what he did But for those who didn't know And they only see it for the first time The corner man's patting the boxer on his bum again That's a real thing I don't know what it is I don't know if it's just a boxing

thing or what But it's the first time I've seen it in this fight The man being patted on the bum Referees do it People that eat cheese do it I don't know There's a rhyme there somewhere See I don't have access to the internet right now Because well I do But it means getting out of my chair And I can't get bothered Because I was gonna I want to check out who Herrera is So I want to check out who this man is The other one The one with the green hair He's got a green

mohawk Someone's shouting out from the ring It's outside the ring Just one voice Shut up Shut up These people that are outside the ring shouting and stuff Just shut it When we was in lockdown There was some boxing on But it was behind closed doors There wasn't really much of an audience Basically just the teams and the other fighters really And Eddie Hearns actually had it in his back garden One of his ones that he did He did a few in his back garden during those two years And the weird thing about that Is because

there was no audience screaming or shouting So first of all you could hear the punches It was like wow this is And secondly you could hear the people in the corner shouting And it's very loud It really stood out Because normally they kind of get a bit Mixed in with the crowds noise Franklin Manzilla Manzanilla Who is he?

I've got the wrong people The one with the blue hair is Jadier Herrera I think I thought he was the Herrera was the Ah Franklin Manzanilla So this is round four of ten So this is the proper boxing Well the four rounds was Because it was his debut So I think for this kind of thing It should all just be four rounds Unless they're well known I mean there was this Was it back in Who was it?

I think it was Jake Paul's Very first boxing match And he put it on himself And I don't know I don't even remember who he fought It might have been KSI Yeah Or was it his brother Jack I don't know But they had professional fighters on the undercard There was actually a world title fight And Billy Joe Saunders was He was defending his world title And it was strange because Normally Billy Joe Saunders would be the Headliner Because it was the world title And the audience It was well it wasn't a boxing audience In the

arena I'm not sure there were some boxing fans But it's mainly KSI and Whatever his name was Jake Paul Or his brother Steve It's one of them I've been watching on Netflix A TV show called The Watcher Is it The Watcher or The Watched?

Watching Something like that It's good It's a very It's a very It's It's kind of a whodunit really Not whodunit but who's doing it Yeah that's it That'll be a better one Who's doing it So I'd be interested Is I've watched The first episode And then I watched about half of the second episode And I went for a nap I just realised I'm going to fast forward this So I'm not really that interested in this one I'll be honest Oh Oh They're stopping it Ah Oh good You know some people come out with such crap

This commentator said Oh he's Manzanilla He's won the fight And he's And as we all know He's 20 years old You don't get your man's strength until you're into your mid-20s Okay What about Mike Tyson Like Don't get your man's strength until It's like Yeah you're weak until you're 25 There's no strong 22 year olds out there is there Blimey Yeah you get your man's strength when you're in your late 20s Yeah but by then you're slower You know It's Yeah that's why Mike Tyson didn't so He did much better when he got older didn't

he It was rubbish when he was 19 And 20, 21 You know when he was the world champion Beating everyone Yeah that's why I used to find it funny I'll wait till he gets his man's strength If he's good now wait until then So many myths Yeah it might be might be true for some people So what is he the WBC He's some champion He's not a world champion See nowadays in boxing You basically You get medals and belts For all kinds of things Like international Championship or Commonwealth or European or whatever It's you know

but WBC WBA whatever it's Before you should just be You'd win a world title WBA WBC IBF Then they brought WBO in in the 90s or late 80s 90s And that wasn't classed as a proper world title For quite a long time Now it is And now they've got the IBO And that's not classed as a proper world title I mean it's getting a little bit silly really with all the titles How can it be a world title if there's like 17 different titles You know what I mean Should be one world title Well what

have we got here Koji Kuzu What So Koji Kuzu And Some other bloke Pretty boy I don't know who these people are The audience isn't that big It doesn't look like the place is full either All right it's a three round exhibition fight this is I think they all should be Really Like don't chuck a 10 rounder in there that just Messes it up Have it all as an exhibition as a bit of fun Don't let it drag out too long It's this junior welterweight division Okay they introduced the judges now Ah Kenny Bayliss the

referee he is very famous He's weighed boxing He's been in loads of world title fights Right who's fighting 143 pounds Ah Ah Kuchi Kuchi Sakucha He's He's a fighter but not a boxer So his opponent is He's wearing a solid weight 140 pounds Three victories All KOs Is he Jaco Ingram or something So I don't know He's I've not heard of him I don't know Is he A youtuber well he's a boxer a professional boxer but This doesn't make sense it's an exhibition fight That's usually between two famous people Not a boxing novice I don't

understand I don't understand Right it's about to go Oh I need to have a shower Poor poor poor It's weird that they turn the lights on just as the bout starts Maybe they're trying to save money Jahon Ingram Jahon J apostrophe H O N Ingram Jahon I've never seen that name before It's just made up name isn't it Is that a real name Jahon Wow maybe that's why he became such a good boxer He was teased at school all through school because of his name How you doing John Oh sorry I mean Jahon Kuji so

he's a Japanese fighter I think he's I don't know MMA or Something I think the only problem really with making a podcast while I'm sitting down in this chair is I could quite easily fall asleep Which isn't really kind of what I'm supposed to be doing is it Although that is it's kind of relaxing I feel my voice is going croaky All right so Koji used to be a kickboxer I'll get my drink of water That's better All right it's the end of the first round Yeah yeah They're playing music I'm just getting here know

what the music is Yeah that's right Yeah rap rap yeah Man then man then yeah man said man Oh oh naughty word naughty word oh oh aggression aggression oh So I'm just just filling you in with the music very similar to all other rap songs Don't get any like any rap musics about baking do you Cook some cupcakes the other day John is doing quite well now he's he's really going in there I think he's he's gonna win in this round I think it's very fast The thing is with kickboxers and boxers Usually the boxer

wins in the boxing ring Just if they got into the kickboxing ring the kickboxer would win It's you know because they're taking away half of his arsenal Arsenal you know his feet All the neck also elbows knees as well So that's a quarter what he's got is his his hands his little hands So he can use his little hands So this is just an exhibition so Round two or three it's only three rounds But it's not they're not fighting like it's an exhibition though this is actually Full-on Oh blimey God this is quite good.

I just wish she had a proper name My name's I'm gonna change my name to Jason Jason how about that? Yeah, they're calling him Ingram they're not calling it by his first name Even they refuse Nope Come back when you've spelt your name, right?

Yeah, I got a dentist appointment this week cover it up Oh So I guess they're gonna have to give me an x-ray again, so stick that thing in my mouth And then run out of the room All right, what are you leaving me in the room for if it's dangerous why are you all running out I don't feel that i'm gonna need any fillings, but you never know I've never had any treatment to any of my top teeth ever I've now got four missing in the bottom Two About three weeks ago And the other two Over like a period of 20 years So i'm wondering maybe I might need a fill-in or something at the top I've got no Sensitivity or Any problems at all.

I never have done with my but with my upper teeth It's really weird because the gap of the new teepee removed area It's a little bit sensitive, you know when I eat I'm, so used to eating on that side Sometimes the food or the just face it the chocolate Digs right in there and it's like ow Ow Elliot Elliot It really ow hurts So I guess it'll just take a little while before it's back to Normal whatever that is So I think this would be all right once tommy um fury gets in there because i'd like to see Tommy fury fight, but he hasn't.

Um Yeah, that'll be that'll be good and then the mayweather but So far, I mean it's this is good, but it's just like well I'm watching people that i've never seen before and I know nothing about them and that that loop that takes away the The excitement for me You know, I Ah, maybe maybe not I mean everyone's new until you meet until you until you know about them He is good though john ingram John ingram, that's why he changed his name because john ingram's a very famous sitcom actor From the 70s and 80s And

it was very camp and he used to say, uh They used to be catchphrase he was it was a gay gay, uh, um actor But he was very camp in them days.

He could only get away with being camp And He he worked in a are you being served this sitcom and he His colleagues would say Because he used to be called. Mr. Humphries, I think Mr. Humphries, are you free? They say i'm free.

Yes. I'm free like that So he yeah john ingram Maybe that's why he changed his name to john Because he didn't want to be mistaken For him There might be some truth in that He might have like, you know, he might have left school and thought I'll take up a career in boxing now and he started getting in, you know had his first fight and He googled himself And he put his real name in, you know, john ingram and up came this Camp sitcom actor saying i'm free And maybe that didn't fit with his idea of manliness to himself As a tough boxer So perhaps that's why he changed his name changed the john to john I don't know could be Because I don't imagine there'd be any other john ingrams On google That are famous Not that he's famous.

Well, he might be famous.

I don't know. I've not heard of him before He might be a He might be an internet sensation. I really don't know It's a very good boxer though He's uh, I think he's I don't know why that was an exhibition fight I Was a cushy shinnecker was one of the best kickboxers in the world and the other bloke Just a new boxer But he's really good probably gonna go to world title Level i'd say I reckon I might be wrong.

I really don't know All right, let's see what's there uh There is something in the air tonight. Oh, this is in dubai. That's why it's on at six in the evening I think i'm gonna um I'm not gonna bore you any further.

This is just gonna last forever and ever and ever And I need to eat. I need to get some food I don't know Oh god, what is that? I got this I got this I got this Oh, all right, it's a female now on there going So, I don't know she's probably another youtube star Okay We're not done we got two more he says She's the next two fights, so i'm gonna go and get myself some food and watch this I'll listen back to this I mean, this should be boring, but perhaps it shouldn't be this boring You know, I mean Perhaps Perhaps perhaps perhaps Anyway you take care of yourselves lots of love Bye for now
