Hello and welcome to Jason Newland dot com. My name's Jason Newland and this is Let Me Bore You to Sleep. Please only listen when you can.

Surfer, close your eyes. Right, let me get myself ready. Oh yes.

In fact, what does he mean by ready? Well, I'm actually going to get the iPad and my phone out and I'm going to look at stuff today. Yes, I am. I'm going to do that.

That's what I'm going to do. I'm not asking permission. I'm just letting you know that's what I'm doing.

Don't judge me. Stop. Stop judging me.

So, I had a few messages yesterday. One that I wasn't sure what to make of. This is from Michelle.

So this is a long time listener. I find the sound of your podcast very muffled. It needs more treble.

It's hard to hear you clearly. My opinion only. It's not a professional.

I'm not a professional in this matter. Well, neither am I, of course. Your sound was great when you were in Thailand.

Okay, so. And I got another message from someone called Wanda. Hello.

How can I get to you? That's a little bit worrying. How can I get to you? How can I find you? How can I get my hands on you? I don't know. Wanda, it depends what you want to get to me for.

If it's for something nice, then yeah, contact me. Get back to me. I don't know what to say to that.

How can I get to you? I just can't seem to. I just want to get to you. So yeah, as far as the sound of the podcast.

Well, I listened back and it sounded fine. I listened on my phone and, you know, I don't really know. You know, I've made a few little adjustments to try and maybe increase the treble a bit.

It's, you know, it's, I don't know. I don't know. I'm just trying.

I'm doing the best of what I know. I don't have a lot of technical knowledge around podcasts, like around the actual recording sound. All I can tell you is the sound of my podcast a hell of a lot better than they used to be.

So much, so much better. So I don't, I'm not going to give myself a hard time over it, if I'm honest with you. Because the quality of sound used to be absolutely awful.

And now, I would say the sound's a lot better than it's ever been. And maybe the odd day doesn't come out so well due to me, maybe my voice. I mean, I've had a chest infection.

So my voice has been a bit I think it's kind of back to normal, but it was a very, a bit weird, a bit squeaky, a bit squeaky, a little bit. Like that, a little, a little bit, a little bit. And then there's times when I've got a really high voice.

And I talk like this for some reason. And then other times, I really talk very, very deeply and I'm not sure why. So yeah, it depends upon the day.

And yeah, so please accept all of my millions of apologies. And I will continue just to do what I'm doing. I've tried to add a little bit of treble, a little bit of bass, a little bit of, but it's never gonna be perfect for everyone.

It's not everybody's gonna be happy with it. And I'll be honest, I'm never happy with it. I'm not, I, you know, I'd prefer to have a professional person here with me readjusting it all the time to make sure that it's at it's most perfect.

But that is never probably gonna happen. And yeah, it's very unlikely. And to be honest, I don't, I wouldn't want someone here.

I wouldn't, you know, I wouldn't want to have to rely on someone else being here for me to make a recording. I just want to just do what I do when I do it, if you know what I mean. So I do a lot of that.

In case you're thinking it's the sound, it's not, it's actually me. So let me tell you, let me moan. I want to have a little moan.

Where's me water? There it is. Right. It's 8.03 in the morning on Wednesday, the 21st of September.

It's nice. So I, I, I tried, really, really tried to, well, I came, I came to a decision. That I was going to make videos.

And every day I was going to make videos. For YouTube and, you know, do audios at the same time, make podcasts. And I decided three days ago, I think, to do that.

And yesterday it, I made two videos, two recordings, uploaded a podcast. That was easy enough, kind of. But the videos, only one is actually uploaded so far in nearly 24 hours.

And that's a 30 minute video. The other one is about, I don't know what percentage, but it's 30% uploaded or something. It's just not doable, not doable at all.

So YouTube, you're going to have to just do one. Sorry, ain't happening. It'd be fine if I was making one recording a day, then YouTube would be fine because I could do that, upload it and just wait, allow it to upload for as long as it takes.

And that's fine. But the fact is, I'm not making just one recording a day. I'm doing two, three, maybe five recordings a day.

Because I've got different podcasts to satisfy different audiences to cater to. So, you know, I've got the Deep Sleep Whisperer. I've got the Relax and Sleep Hypnosis Daily.

I've got the Let Me Bore You To Sleep. That's just three different audiences. I mean, I know there's crossovers and some people listen to all three of those podcasts.

But that's three different, you know, there's also the Boring Objects. There's the Jason's Bedtime Storytime. There's the Pain Relief Recordings, you know, there's the Stop Smoking Recordings.

So there's lots of different stings, stings to do. I was gonna say stuff, but I decided to say stings instead. Yeah.

So yesterday, I put away all my equipment into the storage room. And all I had out was the equipment for the video to make the videos. So now I've reversed that and I've got rid of all that stuff.

And now is just the podcasting equipment, the recording studio, the microphone, all the leads, the headphones, blah, blah, blah, all that stuff. And this is what I'm going to be doing. Because the YouTube just isn't.

I mean, it's not really my, my thing anymore. YouTube. I mean, I like YouTube.

I like watching YouTube videos. And I'm quite pleased that the quality increase that I've got for my YouTube videos, the videos, the quality is way better than it's ever been. But it, you know, it's such a high gigabyte amount that it takes forever to upload.

And part of that is the, I guess part of it is just really the, the lack of internet strength that I seem to have, which is a shame. However, making podcasts is a lot easier, in a sense of the process. Once the recording has been done, the editing, the uploading, the sharing, all that stuff, is relatively straightforward.

And incredibly quick compared to videos. It's just easy. You know, once it's up, I can schedule the recordings to upload or to be released.

I'll upload and then I'll schedule them to be released at certain times of the day or night. So everything's spread out. It's not all just released at the same time.

And that's how I do it. And I try to release my stuff generally early as the morning so that it's quite a good time for America, which is my largest audience around the world. But I also do release stuff during the day here.

So you know, on a productive day, I will pretty much be having recordings being uploaded every couple of hours, or released every couple of hours throughout the day and night. So I try and spread things out. I'm a spreader.

What can I say? I like to spread stuff. Only nice things. Yes, only nice things.

So that's where I am today. That's what I'm doing. I want to focus on more.

So, you know, the usual words, JJ, usual words, use the power of words. Okay, okay. I know with these podcasts, with the Let Me Bore You To Sleep podcast, it's just me talking about stuff about whatever.

And there's no necessary rhyme or reason to it. There's not a particular agenda going on. And no topic.

But I'm not, you know, really, I mean, sometimes I have a topic in mind, and I do kind of stick to it. And I've attempted at other times for a topic to focus on one particular thing and ended up doing something entirely different. So, oh, you know, I mean, I'd like to be more focused when it comes to some of the other podcasts that I do.

I'd like to make the relaxation and sleep sessions better. Just content wise better, more useful, more helpful, just better in every way. So that is something that I'm going to be focusing on.

As well, I'd like to really get my teeth into the pain relief side of things. So that's another thing that I'm focusing on. It's just a shame that I couldn't do YouTube at the same time.

It's just not doable. It's really, really, really. It's not doable.

It's not. It's just not. I think the dustmen are coming.

The dustmen are coming. The dustmen are coming. They can be very, very loud.

I mean, like, really shouty. Almost like the job interview for that particular job of collecting the refuge bags or refuge, refuse, refuge, refuse. The job interview involved shouting, and that was it.

Like, just if you stand a mile away, please shout. Okay, now stand right close to me and shout at the same level. Congratulations, you have the job.

You can start on Monday. So, yeah, I don't know why. I don't know why they're allowed to exist.

I don't know. I don't know why they're like that. But it seems to be a universal thing.

I'm not sure if it's just in my country or if it's the same in other countries. I remember the milkman whistling at 5.30 in the morning or 4.30 in the morning as he was delivering milk. All you could hear is this little, and then it's just stop, this little milk cart.

And then you hear a little clink, clinkle of the bottles, and you'd hear the fence, you know, little gates opening, and then whatever, kind of whistling. I just used to dream about getting myself a rifle. Just why would you do that at that time in the morning? Why? Why? Please tell me.

Tell me why, so I can be satisfied. I don't know. I think it's a, I don't know, I don't really know why I have a need, an inbuilt need to be inconsiderate.

I think it's because I've lived in so many absolutely rubbish places where I've been around inconsiderate people that I've, it's almost a dream. It's some kind of, yeah, it's a dream life to live somewhere where everybody is considerate. I've never lived, yeah, yeah, I've never had that yet, and perhaps I never will.

But just the idea of everyone just being mindful, you know. I mean, really the most that happens around here is just doors slamming and people shouting. That's it.

That's kind of the, generally the average. I mean, there's a bloke who lives over the fence. He doesn't live over a fence.

He doesn't like, he doesn't live on top of a fence. He lives the other side of the fence, you know, in a, inside, you know, in a building. And he likes to have a shout.

He just shouts, and I don't even know if he was shouting at anybody particularly, but he was, sounded like he was. So he came into the garden, into his part of the garden, just squealed, and then went back into his home. And it was very loud.

And it was, it wasn't late, probably about seven, seven o'clock, something like that. Maybe, maybe later, but it was just, then it was finished. And I don't, I don't really understand, because it's quiet.

If it was, you know, if there was lots and lots of noise, because that is what we've got, that, that noise from him would make, or, you know, that stimulates the part of me that wants to stick my head out the window and shout out, you know, back at him. And then I'm sure that would stimulate another neighbour wanting to look out the window and say, and then someone else, you know, so it would be a mixture of, you know, that, that, you know, the domino effect, I guess. But I'm not really sure what, what, like what's going through someone's mind when they're like that, but I guess maybe there isn't anything going through their mind.

Maybe it's a very mindful, or mindless kind of situation. Perhaps there, it's almost like a deep meditation when they're no longer in touch with their own mind or feelings, and they, well, no, definitely in touch with some feelings. It's weird though, isn't it? Because I never hear anyone shout out something nice, like, I feel wonderful.

It's a beautiful day. I never hear that. I never hear that.

I never, never hear anything like really positive. It's always like when people shout, it always seems to be something not so nice. My buttocks are so firm.

You know, just, I lost weight this week. Yay, you know, there must be things to celebrate. There must be, there must be.

Oh, itchy scalp. That's nice. How lovely.

By the way, if you do send me a message, and for some reason I don't respond, or I have either, I haven't read it, or I have. Okay, that's not probably a good message, is it? Sometimes I miss messages for years on Facebook, which is a bit weird. I don't know why they seem to hide messages sometimes.

Now, if you leave a message via my website, I will see it, or should see it. And I generally try to respond on here. Like, you know, at the beginning of a podcast episode, I generally try to sort of respond to whatever the latest messages I've had.

I don't always remember to do it. And but I do read every message. I can't remember what the latest ones apart from the ones I just read to you then were.

I had some weird messages lately. This was, okay, this is from Marilyn Serrano. It's, it's just a, it's not a real person.

Well, it might be a real person, but it's, it's a sales, a sales message. Hey, it starts off. Your website design is absolutely brilliant.

The visuals really enhance your message and the content compels action. What a load of balls. This is like, what are you talking about? I have followed it to a few of my contacts who I think could benefit from your services.

What services? I had someone recently say, Oh, I love, I could help you sell more, sell more. What, what am I selling? I'm not selling anything. It's a free service.

It's free. Everything's free. I'm not selling nothing.

When I was looking at your site, though, I noticed a mistake that you'd made, RE search engine optimization, which may be leading to a decline in the SEO results. It's a relatively simple fix. Would you like me to write it up? If this is a priority, I can also get on a call.

Go away. It's just, I think if I was to, I hope this isn't muffled. Oh, hello.

How can I get to you from Wanda? You can just, just contact me, Wanda. Let me know what it is you you're wanting. Oh, what's this? Oh, here's another one from Jill Nisselrui.

Nisselrui. That's not a real name, is it? Nisselrui? Come on. What's wrong with Smith or Jones? Hello, team.

If you're looking to enhance your listening experience and boost your subscriber base on adding transcripts is the best way to do it when it comes to quality. Shut up. So there you go.

So I get a lot of that now. Get a lot of salesy messages. So sometimes there's a possibility that the, you may, you know, if you send a message, it might get lost.

It shouldn't. But as you can see, well, as you can hear, I've getting quite a few messages from my website trying to sell me things. Here's another one from Kelly Bowles.

Is this from my website? No, it's not. It's just my email. Studies have shown that between 35% to 58% of recovery addiction individuals experience relapse after their recovery.

So basically, someone wants to try and put a possible guest for my podcast. I mean, maybe in the future, maybe I can have guests, but I don't really see how it would fit really. I mean, part of what I do is just me, isn't it? It's just me just being annoying to everyone.

Oh, here's another one. This is the 13th of September. So it was this last week from my website.

Misty Vess. Misty Vess. Hi there.

Hi. Your product offering is fantastic. The value proposition on your website intrigued me so much that I decided to reach out.

We are looking for a few partners that we can work with to promote their products on Amazon. We work on either a fee-based or revenue share basis and work with companies that have massive opportunity for growth. Do you have 15 minutes to discuss this further? If yes, please just respond to this email.

My name is Misty Vess. Oh, Misty. You can just call me Misty.

Just give me a call. Let's have a chat sometime. So that's that message.

I can't see any more recent messages. Oh, here's one. Here's one.

This is from Dean. Jason. 12th of September.

Jason, just wondering if you are okay. We are worried about you. Please could you let us know.

Lots of love. Oh, this is a personal email, but it's from my website. That was when I was away, I guess.

Oh, Molly Robinson. Molly Robinson. I like the name Molly.

12th of September. Possible guest. Why do we only hear 3% of what is said? Okay.

So this is what they've got to say. Again, this is from my website. No, it doesn't seem to be.

Just a direct email. We have thousands of conversations daily from the time we get up in the morning to when we go to bed. Yet, do we really listen to what is being said? A study shows that we only listen to 3% of what is being said to us.

In fact, most of the time when the other person is speaking, we are already forming our response. I'm actually forming my response now while I'm reading it. This lack of listening affects every part of our life.

And from professional to personal. Why don't we listen better? How can we listen better? I don't know. Molly, tell me, tell me.

And it says here. Able to discuss this and more is Christine Miles, author of the critically acclaimed and award-winning book, What Is It Costing You Not To Listen? Miles, known as the listening guru, can discuss why we don't listen. She can actually do a test to show how much is not heard in a brief 30-second conversation and has 5 tips on how to listen to the entire conversation.

Would you be interested in interviewing her on this? Thank you for your consideration, Molly Robinson, Strategic Vision PR Group. Um, no. I don't think there's one person listening to my podcast that would like to listen to more than 3%.

I think if anyone notices 3% of what I'm saying, I think they'd be happy to listen to less. You know, I'm kind of background, aren't I? In a sense, sometimes. Bit of background sound.

Paul Winnie says, Have safe travels. Thank you for everything. So that was a lady that worked in the bar, or in the place that I was staying.

And she cooked my dinner every day. And she's very lovely. Very nice person.

I got on very well with her. Claire Anderson sent me a message. We want the voice behind sleep insomnia hypnosis.

Jason Newland on Wisdom. I'd like to offer you the top badge. Our highest badge, if you'd join us.

Wisdom is the place to meet, share and learn from fellow podcasters. We are venture backed and growing fast. The top badge is Wisdom's version of Twitter's blue checkmark.

Each day you'll get a new batch of voice intros of interesting podcasters to listen to and meet. Herbert the Pigeon's back. Hand chosen to be relevant to you.

You can also talk live to audiences of hundreds and even thousands. Really? You'll grow your audience and meet amazing potential guests and learn from other talented podcasts. Can I please send you a sign up link that will also grant you a top badge? This is Claire Anderson from Wisdom Talent Team.

I read it the first time and it sounded crap. I didn't really read it, I just skimmed through it. That might be interesting.

The only thing I found interesting was that it said you can also talk live to audiences of hundreds and even thousands. How? I don't understand. Oh.

Um. Okay. Stupid.

I don't like the sound of pigeons. I don't know why, they just annoy me. No, I'm good friends with Herbert, but.

Um. Oh wait, this is from Raw Mail. John Nicholson.

Friday the 9th of September. 8th of Friday, 9th of September, 2022. Industrial Action.

Well I'm. Hmm. I don't know, I'm pretty sure I think they stopped that.

Tasha. From, this is from my website. Tasha says.

Hi Jason. Or it says. Jason.

I cannot thank you enough. You've helped me through my most. Okay, I won't do it.

It sounds silly when it's. Really should read the thing first before I put on a silly voice. I cannot thank you enough.

You've helped me through my most toughest times. Dealing with anxiety and panic attacks. Just the thought of listening to your episodes.

Starts calming my mind. I've listened to you many nights. While I try to sleep.

On airplane rides. In my most terrifying moments. You've been a savior.

Keep doing what you're doing. You're making a big dent in humanity. Forever a listener.

From a girl all the way in New York. New York. USA.

Your friend Tasha. Well Tasha, if you're listening to this. Get back to me.

Maybe add me on Facebook if you want. And. So thank you for that lovely words.

That was lovely. Where was it? Carl Smith. So this is something I'd quite like to have done.

But it was too expensive. And. Are you looking to be a faster and more confident hypnotist or hypnotherapist? I have my final 5 day hypnotherapy diploma coming up.

I'd like you to join me. And. I've got 2 events that may interest you.

The diploma will give you 5 days of hands on training. Mentoring over. 1,500 pounds of online material forever.

So I think it's 2,800 pounds. Oh and a firework. A fire walk.

I'd like to do that. I'd like to go on it. But I don't have the money for that.

But. I think it's in Scotland. I think.

Or Wales. Somewhere like that. And it would be.

Which is weird because this person lives not far from where I live. But I would. I think it would be a lot of fun.

Going away for 5 days. And doing a course like that. It would be good.

OK. What have we got? So let's see if we've got any message. This is from Kathleen.

This is from 2nd of September. So it's a couple of weeks ago. I looked.

Do you have an Instagram account? You really are awesome. I have a secret but did not want to put it in my review. OK.

I won't read that out. Another one. This is from Kat.

Oh my goodness. I have nothing but praise to Jason. He has never disappointed on whispering me to sleep.

I am out like a light in usually 10 to 20 minutes. I listen strictly to the whisper recordings. I have a health issue where I need to nap every day.

I threw out useless sleeping pills when I met Jason. I tried several other sleep hypnosises and none comes even close to Jason. Once in a while he will say something quite witty.

Instantly I'll giggle. Really nice touch. Keep up the great work.

I'm getting so addicted. I listen at bedtime sometimes even though I have no trouble sleeping at night. I like his soothing comfy voice.

He is a good addiction. LOL. Well thank you Kat.

Five gigantic stars. Jason is a sleep whisperer. Thank you very much.

That was a lovely message. Yay. Cool.

I like that. New message. Oh there's one.

It sounds almost like it's real. And then as I read on I realise it's just another salesy thing. This is from Bobby Y. I am writing to thank you for your wonderful service.

My partner loves your products and I couldn't thank you enough. Especially with the service we received. What products? What service? What are you talking about? She's fond of your business to be honest.

Fond of my business? I don't have a business. It's just recordings to listen to. This is not a business.

There's nothing to buy. There's no money. We are hoping we can purchase more once we get back from vacation.

You haven't purchased anything yet. There's nothing to buy. It's all free.

By the way. Always love your website. One suggestion.

Here we come. Here we go. Here we go.

Try adding more content. To be fair that is a good idea. Which is something that I'm going to do.

Because I got rid of my whole website a few months back. And I couldn't get it back. So I lost everything.

One suggestion. Try adding more content. I use AIJasper.com to create a lot of automated original and creative content.

So yeah. It's not a bad idea. Thanks Bobby.

Basically just an advert isn't it? Let me see if there's any others. Is there any others? Another message. This is from Kaff.

You're awesome. Best sleep whisperer ever. Thank you so much.

Help me relax and get deep sleep Jason. Your voice is amazing. Keep or stop it.

Your voice is amazing. Keep up all the good work. Thank you.

Here's another one. This is from JD in America. I absolutely love how you talk about the most random stuff during your podcasts.

I think you need to change your title because it's not at all boring. Peace from the US. Thank you.

Let's have a look. This is from Helene. Hi.

Let me know if you received this note. I want you to do something for me. Thank you.

No. You want me to do something for you? A favour to ask? Well, yes of course. Just contact me back.

I'm not sure who you are. Here's one here. Buddy C. Hello.

My name is Buddy C. I'm an alcoholic from Atlanta, GA. In August 2021, I published a book describing how the Tao Te Ching had brought greater clarity as to how to work acceptance and surrender in my recovery. I'd love the opportunity to be a guest on your podcast and discuss my book titled Powerless But Not Helpless.

Nope. Good luck with that, but it's not really my... It probably doesn't fit in with what I do. Kelly Bowles, possible guests.

I get a lot of these now. Oh, this is the same person. Not listening is ruining our lives.

Not listening. Yeah. Not listening.

No. Right. Let me have a look.

There's got to be more messages. Come on. Give me some more messages.

I'm now in the mood for messages. Yeah. Yeah.

More in the mood for listening. Possible guests from Dan Noble. Nope.

Great guests for Let Me Boyd Asleep. Nope. That's Jeremy.

Jeremy. Another one. Guest.

Nope. Game Jeremy again. Nope.

Go away, Jeremy. Leave me alone. New message.

My name is Dion, and I found your store through Google search last week. My store. Well, technically, it's a store.

It's a Shopify website. I don't sell anything. Do you import some of your products or packaging materials from China, or do you plan to import products from China? No.

No. And no. So that was a message from my website.

New customer message. Oh, dear. We'd like to introduce you to our explainer video service, which we feel you can benefit on your site.

Oh, go away. Do you see what I mean? I get more of those messages than anything else, really. Yeah.

I really do. Estimate. I'll be taking this project.

This is scam or something. Woodyard Garage. Hello.

I will be taking this project over from Lee, who has been in touch with me on this project. I was wondering if you will be interested in quoting some part of the house renovation. That's from Amy.

It's just obviously just a scam. And I got another one. Exactly the same.

From Home Care London. Same email completely. These inboxes, emails.

Oh, dear. Come on. Come on.

Comey, Comey, Comey, Comey, Comey, Comey to Jason. Come on. Must have some messages.

New messages. Would you like to try out our CBD edibles? No, come on. Yeah.

Leave me alone. I can't just. It'd be good if I could do something about that and make it so that only, only people that are leaving an actual message, genuine message.

We'll be allowed to do it, but. I'm not sure how to do that. There might be a way, you know.

Oh, Laurie B. This sounds promising. I just discovered your podcast. Congratulations on your podcast success.

Briefly, I want to introduce you to picked cherries. Oh, dear. So this is just.

Yeah. Again, another sales message. Sales email.

Wow. Yeah, I got this. No, that's not right.

New message. My name is Eric and I just found your site. Oh, brilliant.

While surfing the net. You showed up at the top of the search results. So I checked you out.

Sales. Sales one. New customer message.

The coffee drinkers go to CBD and caffeine. Go away. That's not the message.

I want messages from people. So. Just to say that I tend to be nodding off whenever I send a message.

So if it's vague or brief. Apologies. But now you know why.

You're clearly doing your job very well. This is from Mary. Thank you, Mary.

OK, there's no more from Eric. Oh, I found an actual message. This is a five star review.

It says excellent. Big fan of your stuff. Thank you.

Best sleep hypnosis out there. Five star service. So this is from the 18th of.

Jolly. And from. Who from.

Who who. Germs. OK.

New customer message. Eric again. No, go away, Eric.

Please. I love you, Eric. But just leave me alone.

Come on. Come on. There must be some messages here somewhere.

Load more conversations. It's going back to July. Just shows you don't get that many messages, really.

Get a few on. OK, this is from Mary. Hi, Jason.

So there I was listening to you. Let me bore you to sleep, as is my want of an evening. When you started to recite all the different places where people could listen to your podcasts.

Man, I thought I know this is meant to be boring. Please give us some statistics instead. It's funny.

Of course, that made me laugh. But I never did hear the end of the podcast. So your magic is still working.

Then last night you meandered. Just a little. Not.

Not. OK. Then said, that's the question.

And I thought, I have no idea what's going on here. I may have dozed off. Well done, as you have been boring me for four years now.

And I've yet to hear the end of a podcast. Thank you so much. Well, thank you.

That's a very lovely message. OK. So that's that.

Oh, this is from Bob. Hi. Just to say thank you for looking to make the podcast louder.

It really worked. And it's a big improvement. Thank you.

OK. Thank you very much. I do.

I aim to try and please. But it's. Uh.

Uh. Uh. Uh.

Uh. Uh. Uh.

Uh. Uh. Uh.

Uh. Uh. Uh.

Uh. Uh. Uh.

Uh. Uh. Uh.

Uh. Uh. to improve the sound quality.

I hope this helps you with your decision. Thank you. Lori B. Lori B again trying to sell me stuff.

Go away Lori B. Lori B. I love you but go away. Lori B. It sounds like someone I've probably fallen in love with. Do you take Lori B to be your awful, awful wedded husband? Nope, it's another person trying to get on my podcast as a guest.

Why would anybody want to be a guest on this? It's just me talking, you know what I mean? And all the other stuff I do is hypnosis where I'm actually, there's no room for guests. It's not, oh. Let's have a little look to see if there's any more.

Any more. Yeah, any more. There must be some.

Come on, come on. Come on, there must be some to it. Come on then.

Come on. It's. Oh, another one, another one, another one.

This is from Bob. I really appreciate your podcast. They really help me sleep.

Okay, right. So that's that. Thank you.

I've been an, an, an indiver, an indiver. Left a five-star review. I listened to your four-hour Let Me Boy To Sleep music podcast.

It is almost like a ritual to me. I listen to your podcast every night and I put it on an hour timer. I never knew how, I never knew how's the ending to your podcast.

I usually have already passed out before I can reach anywhere near it. Yay. So this is from an, an, I'm terrible with names.

An indiver, an indiver, an indiver. I bet that's the right way to say it. An indiver.

And that's from the 30th of June. So thank you. I don't remember reading that, so I might not have heard it.

Might be the first time I've read it out. If it is, thank you for your message. It's very kind.

Let's have a look where else is there. Okay. This is from Apinda89.

Works every time. It says, this is a message. This is a five-star review.

As someone who struggles with anxiety at bedtime, this podcast has been a lifesaver. I've been listening most nights for the past two weeks and I've worked and it's worked every time. It's also reassuring when I wake up and hear the music playing.

Sends me right back to sleep rather than letting anxiety thoughts intrude and keep me awake. Thank you. Well, thank you.

And thousands streaming down. So I don't know which podcast you're listening to, but thank you. Thank you for that.

And Little Lease left five-star review saying, I used to listen. It says, good night. I used to listen to Jason's bore me to sleep podcast, but I found it oddly amusing.

So it took a while to drop off. However, this whisper series sends me right off. Never heard more than seven minutes.

Well, thank you. Thank you very much. And that was in June.

I must've asked for some reviews because I had a few in a row there. This is another five-star review from Lini Lu. Thank you.

This podcast has really helped me sleep. Thank you so much. Thank you for your message.

And no, no left the following five-star review. Really helpful during these difficult times. And that was a 28th of June.

Due to the last couple of years, I had to uproot from my home in New York and I've landed back in the small hometown where I grew up. The change has been incredibly jarring and not great for my anxiety. Insomnia has been excruciating and only adds to the negative feelings I'm constantly battling these days.

I feel like I've tried every possible sleep podcast and this one absolutely works the best for me. I'm astonished at how much content Jason is able to put out. The hard work is recognized and very much appreciated.

Well, thank you. And no, no, that's your name. No, no.

You can contact the reviewer via poo at poo.com. You know what? That's also my email address. Isn't it weird? We've got the same email address. Poo at poo.com. Let's see what other ones.

Did it. Did it. Did it.

Did it. Did it. Did it.

Did it. Did it. Did it.

Did it. Did it. Did it.

Mary says, so did Jason. So the other night I was listening to let me bore you to sleep and you'd introduced lots of changes, including stopping the background music. Hey, what's up? What's he up to now? I thought I'll drop him a line.

Then I thought about it some more and decided to wait to see what the week would bring. Music back, deleted podcasts, undeleted. Love it.

As well as sending me to sleep, you continue to make me laugh. More power to your elbow, Jason. You managed to meet a serious need while being so funny.

I don't know anyone else who could do that. Well done and great to hear you in such good form. And says Mary.

P.S. You're doing great with the pronunciation of my name. Okay. Thank you.

Let me see if there's any others I can read before bringing this silly thing to a close. Yeah. Yeah.

So Mary, it's a different Mary, by the way, because it's that one's Mary. If you have trouble, give this a try. It's a five star view.

Give this a try. If you have trouble sleeping, feeling depressed and in a fresh voice to guide you into relaxation, Jason Newland is here. He's down to earth and loves what he does.

His voice has helped heal my soul. I found him, thank God, when I needed it the most. Give him a try.

He has many different recordings for different needs going back 16 years. Thank you, Jason, for your kindness and commitment to your listeners. It's free.

It is free. Thank you very much, Mary. And I appreciate that.

And it is free. And that's I mean, it's not the most important thing in the world for it to be free. But and I know podcasts generally are free anyway.

But I started off free right from the beginning. And it still is. And it's always been something that I think is important.

Just my own personal, you know, Okay, I got a message from Diana. And it says, this is for number 14. Jason's bedtime story time.

Jack and the Beanstalk. Adapted by Jason Newland. Five hours talking with music.

So funny. It says, I love this version of Jack and the Beanstalk. I couldn't listen to all as I kept laughing instead of sleeping.

Love Diana from New York, Zealand. Thank you, Diana. I've got no idea why.

Why talked about if I'm honest. It's weird. I got a message there.

And it looks sounds it's it looked like a like a sales one. But at the same time, I don't think it was. That's strange.

So it's been a nice relaxing recording today. I just don't know why I decided to just read out messages from the past. So thank you.

I think I went back to about May. So thank you for listening. Remember to be kind to yourself because you deserve to be happy.

And be gentle. It's really important to be gentle with yourself. Lots of love.

And I will speak to you again tomorrow. Bye.
