Hello and welcome to Jason Newland dot com. My name is Jason Newland and this is Let Me Bore You To Sleep. Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes and I'll try not to spit anymore.

I just noticed and I said Let Me Bore You To Sleep. A big like somersault bit of gob just. Anyway, hello.

As you can see, I've got a bit of a different setup going on. Still a few changes necessary, but I've got it got lighting, I've got my podcast recorder, I've got my video recorder, camera, microphone, blah, blah, all that stuff. I might try and do something a little bit different with this.

Because it looks almost like some kind of big spider thing. Spider desk with all these mics. Yeah, I could do just one mic, but this is just a little bit easier.

And I've got the equipment for this particular reason so that I could have the microphone and the video recording at the same time. And this is separate, the podcast is separate. So have a drink of coffee.

Try and avoid the mics. I've not done it from this angle before. So I hope it's okay.

And I've got it needs to do a little bit with the old wallpaper because you can see that you can see this is this is the soundproofing on the wall, but there's a big gap. It looks like mold but it's not it's just the felt from where the where that stuff used to be. Anyway, hello.

It's been a while since I've done a video. Let me bore you to sleep. And I just realized there's something I need to get hold two seconds.

Be right back. Oh, there we go. Right.

I've got a couple of messages that I wanted to read out. Oh, brilliant. He's taking a picture off the TV.

I'll put it back in a minute. Right, I got a couple of messages. I thought I'd read them out because the beginning of the recording, because I haven't.

So look, these are the most recent ones anyway. This is from Bev. Hi, Jason, I found out when I searched pain relief hypnosis.

I found you. I found you when I searched for pain relief hypnosis. And I started listening to your pain relief podcast as conventional medical treatment hasn't helped me.

So I won't go through all the details of what it says on here. That's not what it says. I'm just saying I'm not going to some of it's personal.

And this is I've had long COVID since October experienced fatigue, dizziness, head pain, lost hearing in both ears. I had that. In October, I had COVID.

And I lost a hearing while not complete hearing, but about I'd say 60 70% of my hearing in both is weirdest thing in the world. Really, at one point when it first happened, my left ear was I was getting feedback or replay. So I was listening to something on TV.

And it was replaying echoing in my left ear. Now, maybe I've got my ears are too big, and they're like caves. That's why it's echoing, echoing, echoing, echoing.

But it was really weird. It's feedback. And it was repeating itself.

I've never had that in my life. And that was during that lasted for about two, three weeks or something. And it gradually got better over the weeks.

The loss of hearing, it was weird, it was almost like being underwater. Okay, so. So basically, Bev's asking me, is there any way I can do recording linked to the situation? Of course, I will pay you.

Well, you don't need to pay me, I don't I don't charge. Everything I do is for free. And I look into it.

There's a lot of stuff there to kind of cover. I look into it. And I will get back to you.

The next message is from Mary. Since you were gone, I started listening to your healing words podcast. So I went to went to Thailand for a couple of weeks, I needed a holiday.

That's the bottom line. I just needed a holiday. So I went to Thailand.

I'm back now. I only did one podcast while I was away. And I've done a few since I've been back, but not many.

Not being not in it. Yeah. I'll talk about that in a minute.

But yeah, not being in a great space, but I'm kind of getting there. So since you were gone, I started listening to your healing words podcast. And they're absolutely beautiful.

And I feel your and I feel your healing words. I hope you get into them again. Thank you, Mary.

So I've got quite a few podcasts. And only a few of them are, I'm going to use the word popular, but the most popular out of the out of the lot. I mean, I don't know what popular is these days, it's hard to tell, you know.

And for me, we've all got our own version of what popular is. So for me, my top podcasts are, I've got maybe one, two, three, four, five, maybe five out of 15. Five are like the top.

One, one's right at the top, and the other one's just below, kind of very similar. And they both had like nearly 3 million downloads each, the podcasts, and then others. Another one, and then yeah, so the one I get the most feedback or the most messages from are listeners of the Let Me Bore You To Sleep podcast, the one that I'm doing now.

And, but that's not my most popular podcast. But overall, although it says, but I do share it with the other podcasts. So maybe overall, maybe it is my most popular one overall.

I'll have to check the stats out one day, add them all up. I know how much people like hearing the stats. The next message, thank you, Mary, that the podcast Healing Words, I probably get about three people a week listening to that podcast.

It's really, nobody really has listened to it. I used to do it back in, I don't know what was it back in when? Yeah, I think when I did it, I put it on YouTube. And this is what 10, maybe 10 years ago, whatever.

So people did watch the videos, I think. But when I put the podcast on, or up, you know, uploaded the podcast of the old recordings and put them all on again, I didn't get much in the way of listeners. And I think some of the recordings are fair, are pretty good, actually, quite nice.

Now, the next message I got is Mary. Hi, Jason, I'm glad that you got away to Thailand as you've wanted to go for ages. I hope that you were okay.

Over Andre's first anniversary, which was while you were away, I think all anniversaries are hard, but that first one hurts so much. And nice to have you home boring us all to sleep. Take care.

Mary PS, you always pronounce my name properly, although you seem to worry about it. Well, thanks, Mary. It's taken me got three years to learn how to pronounce your name, right? That's if I pronounce it right.

I just have, I'm not very good with names. I know, like, we shouldn't really say we're not very good at something. It's very limiting.

But 51 years of experience has shown me that you can tell me your name, and I'll forget it instantly. It's like getting directions, you know, when you lost and you ask someone directions, and it's really important. And maybe you need to go to the toilet.

And it's raining. And it's like late at night. And you really need to get there.

And you're carrying a heavy bag or something, you need to get to the hotel. And you ask directions. And as soon as I start talking, the words just float away.

You know, I just I just go blank. And I don't hear a single thing. I might as well just literally put my fingers on me is like that while they're talking to me.

After asking them for help, I can tell me how to get to the Grand Hotel. And in East which is the high street? Oh, yes. Well, if you go turn left there, and I've got, I might as well do that, because I don't hear anything.

And they walk away, I say, Thank you. And I still don't know where I'm going. I don't know why that is.

I just see if there's any other messages before I go on. Because I've got lots of messages from Sebastian, but none of them are readable. Not one.

Oh, yeah. Vanessa says, What does the couch say to the other couch on the other side of the room? We are so far apart. I was a bit slow.

I didn't I didn't understand that. Nor was the quickest person. Alex says, this is a Facebook message.

Hi, Jason. Just wanted to say, my daughter Brit, introduced me to your let me bore you to sleep podcast a few weeks back. And I really appreciate what you do.

Thank you. We have had plenty have had a pretty awful few years. And like many other people, the mind races at night.

But putting the earphones on and listening to your soporific, soporific voice helps so much. She and I listen most nights and we missed you when you were in Thailand. But I hope you had a well deserved break.

So really, thank you, Alex. I'm just guessing soporific means sexy. Is that right? sexy and exciting, invigorating.

And horny. I don't know. That's all the messages I think.

For now. So that's good. So thank you.

I'll stick that over there. What I'll do now is I'll put back the picture that was on the television before. There was a reason behind that.

Here we go. Airplay. The picture's back.

Although you can't necessarily see it so much because this thing's in the way. I don't know how else to do it. Anyway, you can see it.

Anyway, you can see the picture in the background is to let me bore you to sleep logo of the video podcast or the YouTube podcast or the podcast podcast. What am I talking about? I don't know. So it's cold coffee.

Yeah. Yeah. So it's Saturday, the fourth of June 2022.

752 in the morning. So this is a weird time to be making this podcast. Usually I make them in the evening.

But I've been going to bed very early lately. And that's possibly a mixture of things but possibly due to being away, you know, in a different time zone. And yeah, that would make sense because there's six hours ahead.

So I've been going to bed sometimes at eight. I went to bed at seven o'clock last night. And then I got up for about an hour or so then I went back to bed again.

So yeah, it's just take a little a little bit of time to acclimatize. So thank you for your messages. I do have a new.

Where is it? I've got a new address where if you want to contact me, did you hear that? I said Stu, I can't use a phone without it coming off. That's annoying. Okay, so I got a new address post office post office.

Where I post office, post office. Oh, Sarah, she sent me a message on the 25th of May. So I've not got back.

I know your way but it's been ages just checking you're okay and haven't eloped with a Thai bride or anything. No. Let's, let's not.

Okay, my post box. Oh, I don't actually have the What? Royal Mail, Royal Mail. What? Sorry about this, everyone.

Royal Mail, where are you? Oh, another message. Yeah, I forgot this one. This is John left a five star review on my website.

Whatever Jason is doing is working. It's helped me to quit smoking. And I can't say I listened to much of the bore me to sleep podcast because it knocks me right out.

And I'm a horrible sleeper. But this does it. Thank you so much, Jason.

Thank you, John. Thank you very much. Okay, I got one that's just trying to sell me something.

Okay, here we go. Are you ready? Nope, that's not the billing address. Nope.

How much is it a month? Man. Royal Mail. I've got another message.

Heartfelt thanks, Jason. This is from Kathleen. You keep you've kept me company each night for almost a year now.

They helped me to get through a really difficult time in my life. Lately, I am finding that once I start listening to your comforting voice, I fall asleep within about 10 minutes. The following night, I replayed the same episode from the point at which I fell asleep.

And then again over following nights, but I still never reached the end before falling asleep, which is great, but never get to the end. So maybe you could start at the end and end at the start so I can hear the end at the start. That's a good idea.

You know what, I might actually do that. Maybe I'll do two versions. And I'll I'll rewind it.

So I'll actually that'll be going backwards, wouldn't it? I'll be honest, I carefully if you're listening to this, Kathleen, you've not missed anything. It's really it's an empty climax every turn. Honestly, it's it's really there's nothing you've missed nothing.

Trust me, you've missed nothing. There's never anything that you'll have missed. Why can't I find the post box? Man? What? I'm going back to April now.

Post Office the post roll. Here's your post box. No password.

cultures. So this is before I left. Patterson should be there.

Okay, here we go. Nope. Nope, that's not even it.

Oh, yes, it is. Yes, it is. They should have my address.

Okay. I've already told you in the past, but I just haven't. Here's my post box.

I need to write it down and put it into the comments or something. If you would like to contact me by mail, old fashioned way of contacting people I know, if you want to send me a card or a letter or a present gift, you can contact me at just put my name Jason New Island. P O box 13263 Colchester co 61 y h. And if you if you'll send a letter from abroad, just put United Kingdom or England, United Kingdom.

And it will get here. Because that's where I live in England. If you're sending a letter from anywhere in the UK, then you don't need to put England I don't think.

I think so anyway, I don't know. Mind you, the UK is quite a big area, isn't it? Maybe if you're sending a letter from the Isle of Man, maybe you do need to put England I'm not sure. But yeah, put England just just be safe.

But if you're sending a letter from Liverpool or from Newcastle or from I don't know somewhere else within England, or you know, within this great land of ours. So yeah, that's that's my postal address. So that's there.

So what I'll do is I'll put back I'll get rid of this. And I'll now get that back. Right, the pictures back and relax.

These lights, I've got one, one there, one there and one there. And I got a light up there. And they're a bit hummy.

You might not be able to pick up the hum, hopefully not because the microphones are should just pick me up. Raise me up. They should just pick me up.

But I don't know. So in response to you know, the comments I've got, thank you for sending those messages. I think I might need I mean, you can go to my website, if you want to contact me, that's possibly the best place.

Go to my website, Jason Newland calm, just click on send a message. I think there's a send a message on there. I think so.

And but you know, you can send me a letter in the post as well. If you want to send me pictures or whatever, just and yeah, whatever. So that might be more intimate, more personal.

Or you can go to my website. Of course, you can use Facebook, you're on my Facebook page. I don't necessarily check Facebook that often.

And I'm not great at replying. I don't always know whether to reply or not. Which does might well, of course you reply.

Now what I mean is, because I read the messages out on my podcast. I don't know whether or if that's the best way to reply because you've heard it and me me me. But I don't know.

I do my best. I've got a bit I've been a bit unkempt lately since of because I had I went to the hairdressers twice when I was away. Once I had my haircut and I had my beard trimmed and neck shaved and you know, all tidied.

And then probably about five days later, I had another trim of my beard. Since I've been back, it's grown so quickly, it's only been a week. And it's just everything's grown.

That's weird. Not everything's grown, unfortunately. But you know, I'm talking about here, beardy, beardy stuff.

And another thing I've got, got myself I'm waiting for it to come in the post, but a curtain rail shower curtain rail. I used to have one but I gave it to my friend downstairs because his one broke. And I was this is years ago.

And I was determined to use the bath because I hadn't had a I'd been using the shower for years. And when I moved in here, I had a bath as I was so excited. And then I slipped out of the bath and broke my wrist.

Yeah, I still thought I'm going to stick with the bath. Well, I can't really get in and out of the bath anymore. It's it's because of my lower back and I'm too big for the bath.

The bath is not it's not really I need a big, huge, not huge, but bigger bath really for my body. I'm just I get stuck. Sometimes if you if you come to where I live, you'll see me walking around the town and I literally got a bath stuck to my back.

It's that's never happened. So I decided I'm gonna start having showers instead of baths. I've got a curtain rail, I've got the curtain but not the rail, the rails coming today, hopefully.

And I've got this sticky bath, like a mat that you put inside the bath that sticks to it so that you don't slip. And that's probably the most important thing out of everything. I've also got a couple of rails that I bought that I need to attach to the walls so that I can hold on to them when I'm getting in and out of the bath.

Just extra security, you know? And they might say, Oh, you know, so old now. He's such an old man having to use disabled things. And well, to be honest, I have fallen out of the bath more than once.

And as I said, I broke my wrist a few years back and hurt my shoulder and my hip, but my wrist was broken. So that was sort of six weeks out of action. Luckily, it was my left wrist.

So it didn't affect every aspect of my life. But I it's just a case of a bit of security because had I had something to hold on to, I wouldn't have fallen on the floor because I fell out of the bath onto the bathroom floor. So I'm going to have these handles so I can hold on to them.

So as I get in and out of the bath, it's safe. You know, what's wrong with that? Why are you judging me, man? Don't judge me. It wasn't my idea.

I'm not responsible. I didn't invent them. I'm gonna ask my friend if he can fit them for me.

So I've got them just have to be drilled into the tiles. And I don't know how to drill into a tile without breaking the tile. I don't know how that's possible.

So I'm going to hopefully he's going to do it for me and put them in. I mean, you can get ones that stick to the wall that actually stick to the tiles. But I don't really understand how that works.

Because it says in the small print, this is not these are not supposed to have any weight put on them. What are they for then? They're to steady balance. Okay, fair enough.

But if your balance goes, all your weight is going to be on them, isn't it? So what is only going to help you if you're balanced? Well, it's supposed to help you to keep your balance. And in order to keep your balance, you might sometimes have to put your weight on it. You know, it's, it just seems a bit weird, weird, but ever weird idea.

Like they'll only stick to the wall if you don't put any pressure on them. And with the you know, a lot of people, I mean, no one wants to pull their weight on the thing is like a balance thing. But in the event that you lose your balance, which is something that might happen to someone that has balance issues, or maybe they've got a weak leg or, you know, that's why they got the disabled things on the wall to start with.

Yeah, it won't hold their weight if they do lose their balance. So it's no good for people with balance issues, is it? I know it's boring. I know you're gonna tell me I know it's boring, but it's supposed to be boring.

I love that about that's probably the thing I love most about this podcast is like the most probably the worst thing you can say, you know, the biggest insult is well, not the biggest insult, but one of the biggest insults is boring. Good. It's supposed to be, let me bore you to sleep.

It's like, wow, it's a win win situation. I had some weird dreams last night. I had a very weird dream when I was almost buzzing.

Like I woke I was asleep. But I was wired, like really awake, wide awake. And I didn't know why.

Very strange, very strange. That wasn't a very interesting story was it? I kind of planned for I didn't plan for it to be interesting. So I didn't know I was going to talk about it.

But I'm trying to think what I need to do about the backdrop for these videos because I've got the curtains here. That's a bit not the most interesting backdrop. I've got the table behind me.

But you can't really see the table Kenya. That's my that's I've got two desks exactly the same. And they both need to be tidied when they both need to be cleaned.

Actually, I need to dust them. But I spent all day tidying yesterday. This desk is going to be my studying desk.

Where I'm going to be preparing. Yep, I said the word preparing my hypnosis recordings before doing them. By preparing, I don't mean like knowing exactly what I'm going to say.

But I'm going to prepare, get a bit more prepared and organized, which is something that I never really normally do, or have done for the last 16 years. So this is going to be weird. But I have a target.

Well, kind of a target of how many recordings I want to make a day, I need to be making at least four new recordings each day. And for those watching on YouTube, you might think, well, that's a lot of videos. I'm not necessarily going to video all of them, but I might try.

And you're right, it is quite a lot of videos to produce in a day. The reason it's not a lot of podcasts is because of the amount of podcasts I've got. And so for example, I've got this let me bore you to sleep.

I've got the deep sleep whisper hypnosis podcast. That's more popular than this one. And so I could easily do one every day.

And it's never enough. You know, it's just I never, there's always an audience for that podcast. The other one I've got relax and sleep hypnosis daily.

Again, different different audience. That's that podcast. What other ones have I got? Oh, yeah, I've got the boring objects, which is it's kind of similar to this.

But I it's more focused. So with the boring objects, and again, I need to put something on there so people know what it is. Because I share it on other podcasts and people listen.

But when I just have it on it on the actual podcast its own, no one really listens because no one knows what it is. I need to be a help relax and to sleep and whatever. But I choose a subject, for example, microphones or I don't know, umbrellas or something like that.

And I just talk about that subject for however long, sometimes half an hour, sometimes an hour. And I just go through my life and I talk through different times when I've had that object. And any stories that come to mind concerning that object.

And I've done about 26 of those ones, I think, I think. And then there's the Jason's bedtime story time. When I do a story for bedtime.

And it's a story time and it's I do it. Yeah. And I basically, I've been adapting.

Later, maybe a famous story, but I change it a little bit and adapt it to myself. And so I do those. I've done a few of those.

There's also got pain relief podcasts, I've got and I can't even remember some of the ones I've got. So there's quite a few different ones I could do every day. I mean, technically, I could probably do six, maybe eight a day, eight different podcasts.

But that that's pretty much impossible. Like I mean, just physically, I don't think it's. I suppose, yeah, if each one was half an hour each, yeah, it's possible to do that.

It would be practically impossible to make videos for all of those. Because the uploading time alone, the editing, uploading, just there's not enough time in the day to do that many videos. I mean, to upload to edit and upload four videos is going to take pretty much the whole day.

Just by doing it, rendering it and uploading it and then doing another one. And yes, it's a it's quite a lengthy process. Editing and uploading the podcasts, you know, just the audio is still a lengthy process, but not as not as lengthy.

But still to do eight recordings a day, that'd be too much. There wouldn't be enough time really to be able to upload, edit and upload all those recordings in a day. I don't think I mean, it's probably very possible, but I would just I can't imagine I'd enjoy I can't imagine I want to get out of bed if I am making eight recordings a day.

That's too much, way too much. So four is I think maximum. I mean, I might have done five in a day once.

And it's, I suppose spread it out. It's not it's not that many. Sometimes I'll do two in a row, one, you know, one after the other.

I can't do that on a video because there's only so much space to do on the camera. So I need to once I've done one, then I need to put it on to I yeah, yeah, edit it and start I need to sort of save the video. With the podcasts, it's quite easy to save the audio.

And I can go back and edit it later. You know, I'm not I'm not even sure what quality this is going to come out as because the camera is quite a long way away from me. And I don't know, there's quite a big, quite a big area, if you see what I mean.

And I guess maybe that's weird, maybe. I mean, I've got something coming tomorrow, which will attaches to the other side of the desk, which means the camera will be closer. And it's like a little tripod thing that just attaches to the desk and the thing goes on top.

So we'll be closer. So maybe that will be a might be better, but it might not be better. I might choose to skip using what I'm using.

I'd quite like to get this microphone out the way of television so that I can have the the whatsit showing. But then I also need to have a way of playing, you know, reading out this, the whatsits, you know, the messages that I get. So many things to think about.

Oh, someone recently said to me, your lips are so pink. How come your lips? How come your lips are so pink? I said, I don't know. They're so fresh and pink.

Like a nipple. Like what? Fresh and pink. I don't know.

These are my lips. I mean, once someone said, do you wear lipstick? No, I don't wear lipstick. Not my lips anyway.

I don't wear lipstick. I mean, I know you can get that lip, I don't know what it's called, like a protector in the winter and stuff like that. And yeah, I've used that sometimes.

If it stops chapped lips and stuff like that. But no, I just, these are my lips. It's I mean, trust me, if I was going to start making changes to my face, my lips would not be the first part I would go to, if you know what I mean.

And if I was going to make do start surgical on my body, my face wouldn't be the first thing I'd go to either. You know, maybe it should be. I don't know.

I'll tell this just in case someone didn't hear it, because I think I mentioned it right at the end of yesterday's recording. When I was in Thailand, I was sitting outside. Mind you, this is near the end of the recording, so I won't say it.

I'll say it another time. Just this stuck with me. Basically, I was complaining to this lady that I was at their hairdressers.

And I said, I didn't realize how bad my bald patch was at the back of my head. Until I got into the lift, the elevator at the hotel. And there was all these mirrors all around.

And all I could see was this big, massive bald patch. Huge bald patch, right? Is it the crown right just there? And I said, it's not fair, because my dad's got more hair than me, and he's 105, and he's got more hair than I've got. He's not bald, he's got no bald patches.

And the lady, I said, you might have heard this yesterday or before, but I'll say it again. The lady I was talking to, pointed to two men across the road and said, at least you're not as fat as them. True story.

We're talking about hair, receding hair. It's like, oh, great. Now you've noticed that I'm fat.

Lovely. I was gone. Something I was going to do, I need to use the other tablet to do this.

I was going to read some Twitter comments. Not for me, but someone posted a picture of Princess Kate. I think it's Prince William's wife.

And he just posted, oh, perfection, or something like that about her. And there was loads of comments. Some people agreeing.

Some people saying nope, Meghan Marple is perfection. And other people going, just some of the comments that were posted were just, just silly. Some were funny.

Some were just horrible. You know, it was weird. What kind of get a sense of people's mental states, you know, by what they tweet.

And it might not be right. It might just be having a bad day or might actually, it might be their humor, but it comes across as hatred, and horrible and evil. But it's weird.

And then sometimes, occasionally, and this is usually on Facebook, I'll see a post and I start to type a response. And then I stop myself. Because I realize I'm just doing what everyone else does.

I don't want everyone but what some people do. And basically, getting caught in that trap of caring about something that's not important. It's so unimportant, what someone else thinks.

And occasionally, I mean, this is like maybe twice a year, this happens. And I don't even think I just start on my phone. And then, I mean, occasionally, I post it and then I delete it.

Why am I getting into this for? What you know, stop myself and it's, it's okay. Oh, I don't even know anything about the Israel presidency. I don't know anything about baseball.

Why am I getting excited about this for? It's just sometimes people post, I'm really spitting a lot today. I think it's the lighting. That's it.

Blimey, it really sprays. That's disgusting, isn't it? I'm sorry. I quite enjoyed your video until you started gobbling everywhere.

Sorry. I just don't care. Yeah, so I was looking at the books, some of the books I've got.

It's quite a good book I started to look at yesterday. Imagery for pain relief. So I'm going to read, have a look, have a little read of that.

I've got quite a nice book collection for hypnosis now. It's starting to get back to how it used to be, which is good. And I'm going to be using those books to try and improve my recordings, recordings, my hypnosis recordings.

That's the plan. And I thought, shall I make videos or not? And I decided not to. And now I'm kind of thinking, well, I started thinking of my friend Adini.

Adini made videos, hypnosis videos back in 2007. Like when YouTube kind of became popular, maybe 2006, but I think it's 2007. And he also made, he passed away a few months back, but he also made magic videos.

Like we, I don't mean like, oh, that was magic. I mean, actually proper magic, card tricks and stuff like that. That was his real passion.

But he had a lot of, a lot of views for his hypnosis videos, especially the sleep ones. You know, he had millions of views on YouTube, but he never, it was always quite bad quality video. Like it wasn't particularly good quality.

Like mine wasn't in the past. And this is probably the best quality video I've ever had. But then I realized, and I've been looking at some videos and one in some of the most popular YouTubers don't necessarily have the best video quality.

I mean, if you look at PewDiePie, who is arguably the most popular YouTuber in the world, he's got the highest amount of subscribers, I think 106 million subscribers. And his video quality isn't great. He doesn't like the quality, not the quality of the content, obviously, but the quality of the actual video.

And he could afford to have a professional set like television quality setup, if he wanted. And I'm thinking, well, I don't think he'd enjoy doing it. If he had to do that.

I think he just enjoys having the camera and just making the video and then sending it off to someone that edits it and then makes another video or just streams or whatever. So he's keeping that fun without getting too caught up in the technical side of it, of things. I mean, I'm sure he knows all the technical side, because he's been doing it forever.

So I kind of just thought, oh, and Houdini, he's, even though he got a camera, he got a phone with a decent camera, like a year or two ago. So he started making a few videos that were better quality. He still, he was popular anyway, people used to listen, watch his videos because of the content, not because of the quality of the camera.

And I've got a little bit caught up in wanting to get the quality of the videos a bit better. Because some of my videos in the past were awful quality, like really, really bad. And then when the video quality was a bit better, the audio was awful.

And now, with this setup, I've kind of managed to sort that out, I hope. I don't know how it's going to come out. But I know that I could just make the recording with the camera, and then edit it, use the audio from the podcast and sync it with the video and stuff.

But I like the idea of having a microphone directly with the camera. And being able to talk into that microphone, you know, and I'm kind of even distance between the two. And it makes things a little bit easier.

Although I'm not, I don't know about this having, I think one, one stand is enough. I don't know about two stands. But I did have, and I left it in Thailand, a stand where the microphone just stands up.

And literally, it would be about there. So it'd be kind of pretty much in the same position, but it'd be there. And I'd be speaking.

And I'd be able to get rid of this whole thing. So maybe what I'll do is just get another one of them because I'm not gonna go back all the way back to Thailand to buy another one. There was basically quite a heavy stand with a knob, not a knob.

If I bought that home, like a thing, and then that goes on top of the thing. Like a desk stand for the microphone. So I don't have this, although this is handy, in a sense of, if I didn't have this, if I didn't have the, the podcast microphone, and I just had, and all I was doing is making a video, then this would be kind of perfect.

Because just you know, one microphone. And that's it. I don't know, maybe, maybe I shouldn't be worried about it.

Maybe I just go along and say, well, this is how it is. That's it. I don't know.

I don't know what to do. What should I do? I don't know. I don't know.

Do you know? No one knows. I don't know. We'll see.

We'll see. So those listening to the podcast, if you want to know what my funny face looks like, and it is a funny face, then just go to my YouTube channel. Just, just go to YouTube and put in Jason Newland, or sexy Jason Newland.

No, no, don't put this, you won't find me. No, just put in Jason Newland, maybe hypnosis next to it, and you'll find me. Yeah, there's a picture of me.

I look so old on that picture. I need to, because you know, as you if you watch the video, you can see I look like so young. You know, maybe 1819.

Don't say stone. And I just, there's a picture of God, I just don't look that. I think I might take the picture off of those podcasts, get rid of the picture that might be scaring people away.

Because you know, when you listen to me, and you've never seen me, then you're gonna have your own image of what I look like. And I can be anything you want me to be, I guess. If you're that way inclined, if you if you want to think of me as being seven foot tall with blonde hair and brown eyes and big pointy chin, you know, I mean, hunchback or something, you know, whatever turns you on if that's if that's for you.

Imagine like one hand being three times bigger than the other. If that's that maybe that's what you like. And maybe with horns.

You know, so that if that it helps you feel more relaxed imaginary being like that, just stuck in a spider's web or something like, like that. And that's all I'm just talking. And if that relaxes you, then you're good.

If you don't mind having the bubble burst, check out the YouTube channel. Or plus, if you want to see me when I was younger, there's videos of me from years and years and years ago, like 1015 years ago. So you can find some videos for when I was a younger man, when I was in my 30s or early 40s, late 30s, early 40s.

And I was, you know, younger. That's all I'm saying. Younger.

Younger. See that's kind of pretty much the end of the recording really. So I hope you're well.

Again, I've managed to talk about nothing for an hour. It's a skill. I'm sticking to that.

I'm sticking to it being a skill, even though you all know it's not. But that's what I'm sticking to. It's a skill.

I was going to say I'm very talented, but I can't even say that out loud really, not without laughing. But it's something. It's something.

So yeah, I'm not sure what that was. So today's Saturday. It's good because I've got boxing on, world title fight on tonight in England on TV.

And then tomorrow morning, Sunday morning, about two o'clock, the boxing starts. And it's a unified world title fight in the lightweight division. And it's Devon Haney against Kambosis.

So that was in Australia. So they're starting it in the morning in Australia for it to be on in the afternoon. That doesn't make sense, does it? No, it does.

Because then they start. Oh, okay. I think it's also in the afternoon.

I think Australia is like 10 hours ahead of the UK. So they've got the fight on on Sunday. But they've shown it here.

They've shown it in America on Saturday. That's what they've done it so they can have it like peak time on Saturday evening. And it'll be on in the UK, we can watch it at two o'clock.

I think it starts at two o'clock, but the main fight will be on about four or five or something. I don't even know really who the undercard are. So that's that's the day really sorted.

I mean, during the day I had my food delivery yesterday. So I don't need to really go out and get any food. And hopefully I'm gonna try and make some recordings today.

Some maybe some more videos. And I do need to go out at some point to get some a few bits and stuff. But that's it.

So thank you for listening. Remember to be kind to each other. Remember to be kind to yourself.

And lots of love. Bye.
