Hello and welcome to jasonnewland.com My name is Jason Newland and this is Let Me Bore You To Sleep. Welcome, welcome everyone, welcome especially you. Um, oh yeah, only listen, please, please, please, please only listen when you can safely close your eyes.

That's a nice long pause there, wasn't it? Oh, it's Saturday the 23rd of April. It's 4.30 in the morning. I don't normally make recordings this early in the morning.

I used to, but to be fair, yeah, I used to, didn't I? I used to be up all night, every night making recordings. Now I'm asleep at night. I've gone all weird, a weird, weird lifestyle now, sleeping during the night time.

What kind of crazy man am I? Yeah, yeah. The reason, the reason I'm making this recording now, well, firstly, is because I've just woken up. And I thought, because I went to bed fairly early last night, and I was in bed by 11, pretty much.

Oh, excuse the sniffing. So, yeah, it's probably not a huge amount of sleep, but I woke up and I'm awake, so I just got up. Didn't feel the need to just lay there for no reason.

I suppose I could have done. Could have gone back to sleep, but I could go lower. If I feel tired, I can go back to bed if I want.

It doesn't matter. Anyway, the reason I'm doing this now is because boxing's tonight. It's the World Heavyweight Championship.

Boxing. The WBC World Heavyweight Championship between Tyson Fury and Gillian White. Yep.

I'm just breathing. I'm just blocked up. See, I'm not sniffing.

I'm just breathing. See, so don't, oh, you're sniffing. No, I'm breathing.

I'm actually breathing. So don't ever go at me for breathing, OK? Right. I mean, if, if you can forgive me for anything, surely breathing will be one of those things that you would forgive me for.

Thank you very much. I am still a little bit bugged. I've got a story to tell you, ladies and gentlemen.

Are you ready? I'm just going to tell you about my day yesterday. That's all I'll do. I'll tell you about my day yesterday.

And funny enough, yesterday's let me bore you to sleep. I did in the morning. Again, normally I do them in the evening.

Normally I try not to do them too late because I'm so tired sometimes. So if I do it right at the end of the day, it's, you know, I can talk about what's happened during the day or whatever. But I'm like, oh, I prefer to make recordings when I got a bit of energy.

And this I've made recordings this time of the day before and fallen asleep because I've woken up and I've not been awake. Really? Not really. You know that when you're awake, but you're not.

Yeah, I do that fairly often. But this is not one of those occasions. I actually am awake.

Yeah, there won't be no falling asleep today. So yeah, I'm looking forward to the world heavyweight boxing tonight. And I got a few friends coming around, which is very unusual for me.

Not the most sociable person. Don't normally have people in my home. But these, apart from one person, these are all people that I've had in my home before.

These are people that are friends, like local. One, two, there's only gonna be three. Yeah, only three people, but they're all neighbors.

So just apart from one person. And I've watched boxing with other people before. So yeah, just trying to think like, one, once, two, three, probably four, five, four or five times with different people, with at least three of us in the room.

So I don't normally and I might you might feel you sound weird. And you sound mental. How can you be help trying to help people if you're also mental yourself.

And you probably say you might if you had that attitude, then you'll have even more of that attitude in a minute when I tell you about what I've been up to. Anyway, I'm not here for judgment. I'm not here to judge you.

So don't judge me. Thanks very much. I have a rule, one person in a room, generally.

And I stick to that really with my own home. It's just the way I like to one on one. I struggle to converse with more than one person at the same time.

You know, back and throw, you know, in a communicational way. So, you know, when I visit my friends, he might have more than more more people. So if I visit someone, they might have more than one person there.

And I'm okay for a very short while. And then I'll leave. I can't be in a room with three or four people just can't.

I can for a very, very short period. And then they said I leave, I have to always leave. Sometimes I can manage it for 10 minutes.

But I can't, I just don't, I don't do it. I want to do it. And I Yeah, it's a mixture of I don't want to do it to start with.

Even when it's people that I like. And I'm friends with, I just don't want to, I just don't want that don't like it. See, it's weird, isn't it? Just don't like being in a room with lots of people.

And the exception, not completely, but the exception would be family. And I say not completely, because I still don't necessarily feel comfortable. But, you know, it's as comfortable as I'm ever going to feel.

Where, you know, sort of so. So what I mean, even I struggle with the, like, let's say if I visit my parents, I still prefer one on one, like a one on one conversation. Because talking to two people at the same time, I just don't, I just don't like it.

And I don't dislike it. I'm like, we don't like talking to your parents. I don't mean it like that.

I just, I'm a one on one person, a one on one, like now talk, I'm just talking to you. I just find that more personable, more. And also, if I'm in a room and there's other people talking, I get distracted, because I'll be honest, usually other people's conversations are more interesting than mine.

So I'm talking to this person, but I'm trying to listen to what's being said over the other side of the room. Because they're talking about ice cream. You know, like, well, what's going on there? Ice cream? Where's the ice cream then? And my my friend is talking about, you know, the hospice and, you know, and, you know, stuff like that.

And I'm like, yeah, yeah, it's nice. But yeah, what about this ice cream? Chip, chop, chick, chop, chip, chop, chick, mint, chop, chip, chip, chip. It's like, I'm interested in your family issues and stuff, mate.

But there's ice cream over there. So it's like, you know, it's like, yeah, I want to hear about your donkey. But I also want to hear about cake.

I'm conflicted. So yeah, I get a little bit. There's another thing I noticed is, I've been in situations where there's, and I realize you may be thinking, what? Okay, this is nice for you to blab on like this.

But what about yesterday, mate? You said you're going to tell us about yesterday. Will you once in your life stick to the agenda? Just once? Over 800 recordings and not once have you stuck to what you said you were going to talk about. It's not that we want to hear about yesterday, JJ.

It's just, it'd just be nice just once for you to just say, I'm going to talk about a chocolate policeman. I mean, I'm sorry, policemen made of chocolate. Okay.

But melt in the sun that you can eat. Not anything weird. And stick to it and say, okay.

You know, instead of them talking about lollipop ladies made of marshmallows instead. You might say, well, it's a similar subject, but no, we want to hear about the policeman made of chocolate. We don't want to hear about marshmallow man or lady or chicken or whatever.

Please stick to the subject just once. I beg of you. I beg, please.

Okay. Okay. Blimey.

Wow. I was a bit of a bit full on. I'm just, just chatting.

That is kind of what this is about. It's just chatting. You know, I mean, it's not a, I'm not doing an essay.

You know, this isn't my Christmas lecture. Wow. That was, that was, that was uncalled for.

Anyway. Okay. Fair enough.

I forget what I was talking about now. So I will, I will talk about yesterday. Okay.

Okay. Fair enough. Yeah.

Okay. I'm not saying I'm a little bit disappointed in your attitude, but it's okay. It's fine.

It's fine. It's fine. So, when was it yesterday was Friday, Thursday night.

I'm not going to go into details for this one. But I had a funny turn. I thought I'm well.

And I didn't know. I was it was a very weird, weird feeling. Yeah, familiar in a way.

And I didn't know. Basically, I woke up from a dream. But it was a very, very bad dream.

And I get up. And I went to bed very early that night. And I woke up.

If I didn't go to bed, I first went for a nap about eight o'clock. And I woke up about 10. Or went to a nap at seven and woke up at 10.

Something like that. Or six and a half. No, it's, you know, it's, you know, roughly that kind of thing.

And I said, I felt very unwell. Very. I'd had a stomachache all day.

And I pretty much did yesterday as well. But I found out later that we, we all had, I said we all did me and my neighbor and a few friends all had pizza on Wednesday night. No, Thursday night, Thursday night.

Yeah. No, Wednesday night. That's it.

So I had a stomachache all day Thursday. But my friend and two other friends to to the other people that were eating pizza had to leave. Because they were at my friend's place and they were sick.

They were really ill. My friend was really ill yesterday all day on Thursday and yesterday. And his dog was ill.

His dog had a few little bits of pizza but only like crust but you know dogs are like he probably managed to grab a bit, probably a whole slice or something when there's no one looking. And he was being sick. So there's a good chance that we all got food poisoning from the pizzas.

I think my lucky graces was I didn't first I didn't eat hardly any I only had on Thursday night or Wednesday night I only had maybe three slices 300 slices. But I had the more the vegetarian. So I'm guessing a vegetarian is it was more probably one of the the sausage ones or whatever because there's four different pizzas.

And I had I must have avoided or only had a little bit of the one that was a bit dodgy. So you know I've had a bit of a stomachache but it's been nothing more than that. But saying that you don't know you know it was perhaps that's what it was because on the Thursday evening because all day Thursday I had a stomachache.

The ironic thing is I was still eating pizza during the day. I didn't you know only little bits. So yeah yeah to be fair I probably didn't do myself any favours but I didn't know I mean cold pizzas normally usually all right.

It's kind of funny really isn't it? I suppose. Anyway I didn't know that my friend and my other friends were ill because I didn't see anyone on Thursday at all which is weird because so I was thinking I didn't even think about the pizza I just had just a weird stomach all day you know it still feels a little bit weird now but it's better getting better. It's more like trapped wind now you know and you know how easily I like to let the wind flow.

I like that window open if you know what I mean. I like all the windows open. I like the air to just breeze in and out at will.

I basically got a cat flap a fart flap. Oh dear. Got a fart flap.

That's funny. Oh dear. Anyway anyway so that was that.

So I had a bit of a funny turn on Thursday night which then sent me into I guess um like I'm coughing now brilliant still got a cough um yeah so I kind of went into sort of panic mode and didn't really know what it was didn't know if you know am I was I ill or was I not ill was I just it was anxiety blah blah blah blah was I overreacting this is something I've had an issue with over the years and I've had an issue with over the last few weeks so it's

not the first time this has happened but at the same time I'm 51 years old I can't ignore or I'd be silly to ignore um weird weird sensations in my body my chest and whatever so as I said I don't want to go into details but it was a little bit scary so anyway I went for a long walk on on Thursday night a long long walk at night for about an hour or so and afterwards I kind of felt a bit better I got some um what are they called Rennie which are good for

like heartburn and stuff and just to see whether or not I could help my stomach a bit because that was I felt that was putting was making my chest a bit tight you know the stomach I don't know just I didn't feel well so and then I come home and I sit in my chair I don't know what for about 11 o'clock to about half four just listening to music I fall asleep as I'm listening to some music on put on Spotify I think it's 80s 80s playlist and then at half four I go to

bed till about half eight so I'd already had some sleep but I was sitting up sleeping in the city which is pretty good for my cough really and it seems to have turned into a bit of a chest infection just but only not a serious one just a bit mild I've been prone for years to the old chest infections well come Friday morning I thought so I was up at 8 30 had me breakfast 8 30 is very late for me and normally up a lot earlier usually up by six generally you hear the birdies

in the background those of you who don't like the sounds of birds um you probably won't enjoy this uh I got all the windows open I love the sounds of birds I mean like I really appreciate them I don't know I guess um because I've got a big big tree in the garden um so you know there's lots of birds and I live in the countryside there's not much else going on um as far as nature goes you know I mean I don't mean like obviously there's lots of stuff but I don't see any other

animals I don't even see rabbits in the fields which surprises me really never see hardly ever see rabbits or I have in the past but just not recently um yeah so it's it's nice to hear the birds apart from pigeons there's something about pigeons that's wind me up they just I mean they they they actually come and sit on my windowsill and talk I know they're probably talking to they put say hey Jay Jay Jay do you want to come out to play are you doing a recording honestly they'd they'd love to disturb me well

okay um um so yeah I got up I think it was 11 o'clock I got the 11 o'clock bus it might have been the 12 o'clock bus actually thinking about it yesterday I was thinking it was the 11 o'clock bus but it might have been the 12 o'clock one but anyway I decided to go to the hospital but not it's not an emergency this is like a walk-in center which you can just get um if I think it actually is still the emergency I'm not sure but it's it's a you can go in if you're

if you're not well so that's what I did I didn't go to the doctors because the doctors would have told me to go there because they don't have I can't get appointments at the doctors uh not like on the day um if I'd called 111 which is a telephone number they sound like sarcasm yeah if I called uh 111 that's a number by the way yeah we know it's a number we just heard no it's uh why in this country it's it's not like 999 is our emergency number like I know in America it's 911

um 911 uh whatever I don't know in other countries this there's too many uh to know but here it's 999 but for a non-emergency well for something where you don't know if it's an emergency or not when you're not sure sure when you're not sure 111 is the number I don't know what they're going to fill the like 222 333 444 and so on I don't know what they're going to do with that and I don't know 333 maybe that's when you've got a hair emergency you're having a bad hair day I don't know I

don't know where they're going with the numbers um so I didn't I didn't call that either because they would have ended up probably just saying the same thing go down to the hospital so that's what I did uh just explained what happened and uh they said why didn't you come last night I said because I live a long way away it's too far to walk no buses at that time of night why didn't you get a taxi now I was getting annoyed at this point because I didn't really feel the need to explain my situation

uh and you might think why hmm well my building is blacklisted by a lot of the taxi drivers taxi services in town not due to anything I've done it's there's some dodgy people have ordered taxis to this building to my actual home not not my number of my home but there's six flats in this building and they've stopped said to the taxi I'm just going to go and get the money they run through the building because there's a back door you know it's a front door and there's a back door you can run right through

and then they run through the back out of the gate never to be seen again sometimes they've even given a number a flat number and my and one of my neighbors has answered a door to a taxi driver saying where's Tracy or whatever who where's Bob whoever the person was so yeah because of that we struggled to get taxis to turn up in fact my friend was on the floor in agony it turned out he had gastroenteritis but we didn't know what it was at the time until I had to find a taxi to take

him to the hospital this was a few couple of years ago and phoning around nope you're blacklisted yeah but my friend's in agony the ambulance wouldn't come because his pain was in the wrong part of his stomach it was in the it they ask is it above or below the belly button I can't remember what which one it was but that was the wrong part it was the wrong side of the belly button so it wasn't an emergency yeah he had gastroenteritis and I would guess that it's not an emergency but he was he was

really ill and I was in hospital with him all day this is anyway we couldn't get a taxi it sounds like I live on some kind of disgusting rough horrible place and I don't this isn't this is a nice nice place really it's just there's a there's just the odd little bit of dodgy behavior such as people doing you know that with a taxi some people have had arguments and got into fights with taxi drivers always seem to be stopping outside this building so yeah that was uh that's why I kind of couldn't get a

taxi the last time I even went to the petrol station because I didn't feel very well this is last year and I can't even remember what it was it sounds like I keep going to the hospital I don't I generally don't keep going to the hospital it's not what I do this is the first time I've been to the hospital for me in years and since I've lived here I've been to the hospital with a broken wrist and a broken hand so that's two things I went to the hospital for but there's no choice you

have to go to hospital for that because I needed them x-rayed to make you know and get plastered up so you know I had to do that the other times I went there for my sleep apnea machine which I don't use perhaps I should start using and the other thing I've been there a few times with friends you know just to support them but yeah I'm trying to think can't remember the last time I went but I think on this occasion I thought I needed to went to the host went to the garage petrol station

because I knew that they wouldn't come to my house because they're blacklisted a phone from the petrol station I drew the money out the bank and they said we'll only come if you pay ahead of time I said like I'll give the taxi driver money before I get into into the car no we want you you need to pay by card on the phone before we even come out I said I just draw my money out it's in cash it's in my pocket I mean I could do my magical skills aren't that good I can't

magic it to you and see yeah and you know so it's so annoying really because I've never ever ripped a taxi driver off in my life never even thought about it it's just one of those things I just don't even why would just you get a taxi to where you're going and then you pay them I mean this is a simple process the idea of getting into a taxi knowing that I've got no money to pay them when I get to the other end I think that's that separates the types of people in the world

there's those that do that and those don't do that get rid of the ones that do that that's it goodbye the whole world might change because they miss it up for everyone else just I know people who do that stuff as well it's just it's just if you can't anyway it's just it's messed it up for that's that and I don't want to say that in hospital oh by the way I can't do that because I've got dodgy dodgy people ripping off taxi drivers and getting taxis from town into my house and then knocking them

or running out running off I might one day go into town and just go into the offices myself and just explain said look what ID do you want from me come on what do you want me to give you a retainer do you want me to give you 20 pound now just stick that in your safe for next time I need a taxi and come when I need one you know offer the service that you offer everyone else but I don't know can you please get on with this story yeah okay so I decided to

go cough cough I decided to go to this to the hospital and I get there and I've now changed the buses to one an hour hourly buses last week it was every half hour now it's hourly when I moved here it's every 20 minutes it's not going in the right direction if you ask me I mean soon it'll be once a month or something you know it's just very backward very backward anyway I get on the bus everything's fine get to town and then I wait for the next bus get on that bus everything's fine

and then I walk through and I have to ask directions because I said oh it's all the way back there and then another lady says no it's not it's that way they changed it and the man said oh thanks sorry and I said I said don't be sorry just just be correct you know just just know your facts don't be sending people on wild goose chases I mean you can apologize all you like mate but you know that's that's the wrong direction you were sending me you should be ashamed of yourself no I didn't I

just said yeah no cool thanks and I carried on how dare you and walked in there straight away jumped on me it was almost um like can I help you can you it was it was a little bit like going into curry's or pc world and when they're really quiet the hospital wasn't quiet but you know when when they've got when there's no customers they'll jump on it can I help you sir can I help you sir no thanks can I help you can no thanks can and it'll all be like that and like go

away you know it's like just leave me alone just let me just let me just look around the doctor said but you can't really look around me you know this is what you want you're in here I said okay sorry yeah um I explained the situation I said I need to see someone he said to fill the form in then someone came over and started talking to me um did triage I think it's called and I don't know why it's called triage I'm not even sure what that means I heard it used a few times

in such settings and did a couple of examines on me did examined gave me oh yeah he this is in that like the the uh the entrance basically you know there's a little entrance area with some chairs before you actually go into the actual hospital before you actually go into the actual hospital I didn't need two actuallys did I so check my blood pressure and my pulse and listen to my chest and my back with a stethoscope telescope yeah stethoscope and then sent me in to wait in the waiting room then I got seen by

a nurse who did check my blood pressure again took my bloods and gave me an ECG to check my heart and yeah I think that was it was enough wasn't it and then I got seen by another doctor who said that yeah I'm fast forwarding really aren't I there is but anyway said that everything was fine it was a panic attack everything was fine I'm fine now excuse me this stomachache probably caused me to feel weird well no it did so maybe a bit a little bit of mild food poisoning because I got it mild

my friends clearly got it much worse caused me to perhaps if I did get food that's if it is that the common denominator was the pizza but two other people didn't get ill so it's hit and miss you know there is two three four five six so six of us and a dog two didn't get ill I was very mild I just had a tummy ache two had to leave because I was so ill another one was ill for two days and the dog was being sick so it's the common denominator considering my friend said

he didn't eat anything but pizza didn't eat that day that was all he had and pretty much the same for me as well I didn't eat really except my breakfast I think and a bit of toast later and then I had a pizza so it seemed you know it's I put my little Columbo hat on me Columbus hat on and I just try and steer towards there's no 100% of way of knowing I guess unless I don't know if you can test pizza but uh still got some on a plate over there with some tin

fall over I mean keeping it cool I've been leaving it on the radiator so I don't know that I had an effect and I maybe overreacted triggered it whatever so I kind of was with this doctor and he was saying well the nurse said if you have a funny turn you need to come in within six hours ideally straight away but you know within six hours so that we can make sure that you're okay especially you know at your age I didn't like that last sentence and the doctor said the same thing is it like

you're 51 you're bipolar it sounds you're physically fine everything's fine if there's anything if there was any problems it would show up because we've been very thorough your heart's fine your bloods are fine your lungs are fine you got a cough but that's fine you haven't had COVID like this time because I've had a cold it wasn't COVID you haven't got COVID now you've just got potentially a chest infection or something but just it's just a residue of the cold just just a cough blood pressure's fine pulse is perfect everything's pretty much I don't I

don't know if it's like fine for my age or fine generally I don't know it's hard to tell but I'm fine I'm fine baby and I was sitting there and he said the doctor said look even if it was if it's a panic attack because they don't like to say it was because you know it's not there they're not psychiatrists or psychologists they're you know doctors and he said regardless if it was a panic attack or anxiety attack or not if you feel unwell come in however often it is you come in because of your

age you can't ignore it if you have any weird feelings whatever you know don't ignore it and so he was just trying to reassure me and it was which was nice but I felt like a mixture of oh relief but also a bit embarrassment a bit a bit teary because oh I've been here before and I don't didn't want to be here again didn't want to be back in this situation wasting valuable time for doctors and stuff and the windows are a bit squeaky today um I'm glad I got the windows open though the so

I kind of felt a little bit oh a little bit sad but anyway I left left to say thank you very much doc doc and I shook his hand and give a big French kiss we're going out Saturday night no we're not and we uh I went past the main hospital and I went for did a quick wee wee and I was surprised because I went to the main entrance of the hospital it's very different from last time I went in there last time I went in there there was an entrance there was a reception

a man or woman sitting behind the reception offering help and stuff I mean unless it well it's changed I went in there to the left was a shop a quite big shop selling stuff and to the right it was a costas I thought I'd walked into the cinema by mistake I mean they got rid of the operating theater for an actual theater Shakespeare's playing Hamlet don't you know on Wednesday I need to go to the toilet okay you keep quiet um so I go to get the bus the bus turns around it doesn't stop so

it goes all the way to the hospital turns around and just drives right past the bus stops and there was a female at the bus stop so I'm thinking I'm a little bit behind it'll stop for her but no she doesn't make a movement she just sits there so oh yeah a bus came about two minutes later so that was too bad and then in that time about seven people managed to walk in front of me to the right bus stop and I was waiting at the wrong one it's okay I managed to get on

the bus went to town and then I was this is a three about I found left about 3 30 in the afternoon and so I was a bit hungry so I want to get into town to go into Gregg's which is a place quite famous for its sausage rolls uh the family history it's not so uh not so great but apparently uh yeah you look at the family history of the Gregg's uh sausage roll empire anyway apparently the the the man in question doesn't get any money from the sausage rolls we buy so I went

there got some sausage rolls got a few bits and a few cakes and stuff to take home with me as a treat and then I got a burger because you know that's what you do and you find out you're healthy so I had a burger some chips and milkshake I went to mcdonald's to start with had no milkshakes so I went to the wimpy no milkshakes mcdonald's that's like not having no fries you know it's I'm not quite sure it's happened before as well mcdonald's I don't know maybe it's whatever potato mush they used to

make the milkshakes the they didn't get it delivered or whatever because of the the current situation in the country problems with deliveries at the moment I think in some way in some cases and I got a uh got a thing from the supermarket saying an email saying we may not be able to provide you with virgin oil or something because it's produced in a country that's at war and we might have to replace it with a different type of oil I was like okay interesting to know if I was ever going to buy any virgin

oil which I'm not actually I want some now now I've mentioned it so yeah so I went and got some food and had that ate that in the park and then I saw what I thought was a dog running around and almost like it was limping because the way it was running and I realized it wasn't and I thought it's a fox but then I realized it wasn't it was a deer but a little baby deer it wasn't big and it was more like a big dog size if you know what I mean and it

was running it wasn't I don't think it was injured it wasn't hobbling I hope not oh you can't oh I don't understand hunting I don't really you know just deers are so beautiful they're beautiful like just and this this little deer um and I gotta explain it's not normal to see a deer in a public park around not in my you know it's not really countryside it is but it isn't but it is but it isn't it's I mean how it got there it I don't know it must have come from I don't know where

it came from to get there but there was a lot of people about and it was running rotteny the where the railings were and where the bushes and trees running right behind all that I mean clearly trying to avoid people and very strange it was lovely to see I've never seen I've never seen a deer before like that in that situation I hope it's okay there's some weird people about I just hope that you know if anyone does come across the deer they treat it treat him or her properly and well it's a cute little

thing anyway that's that was that and then uh come I went to this one this supermarket to get some food because for some reason my debit card won't the delivery won't accept my credit card or my debit card online so I can't order food online and then I have to phone up the bank and get that cleared up and that's another hour of my life so I just have put it off I need to phone them maybe I can go into the bank and do it ah yeah maybe yeah that's probably probably can I don't

know I might actually be easier if I you know spending an hour and a half or whatever on a phone it'd be easier just to go into the bank yeah I don't know so yeah so I went um went to supermarket ordered some food had a trolley full of stuff and basically they deliver it I'll pay for it there and then they deliver it and because I had a trolley there's only one cashier working at the time at that moment there's no one hardly in there at all and as soon as I got to the

till suddenly people come into the till behind me so I was saying there's a lady I said you can go ahead it's fine and she's like no it's okay I said no just go it's fine and she went didn't say thank you and I was waiting for them to get another till person out another cashier you know so so I didn't want to hold it up because I had a trolley full and everyone else had just little bits you know in a little basket so I was letting people through and I let another man through

I said you can go and he just looked looked hesitantly and I don't know why and he went forward didn't say thank you uh I thought oh maybe he doesn't speak the language he doesn't really sort of you know that's why and then you know when he gets the till he's like oh thanks and he was talking like well why didn't you say thank you to me for letting you through that's just weird I didn't do it because I wanted people to say thank you and be all nice just it's sort of standard procedure so

I let two people in front of me one looked like I thought I was gonna I don't know spray with silly foam or something and this other bloke like ah it's weird strange try and help people out I should have just gone ahead I could have gone ahead and kept everyone waiting and the other till did come they did get on the other till but it was a few minutes they would have been waiting for a little while before that happened very very strange just yeah strange so I get out of there and um I

then walk up to get the bus the delivery was between between nine no between seven and nine in the evening and it was getting on to five I suppose by then so wait around probably about 15 minutes for the bus it comes and on the way back I'd say halfway through the well maybe a quarter away third of the way through the journey yeah probably about a third someone gets on the bus and his debit card's not working to pay for the bus journey and I put the uh and he's and he said well it

worked earlier because I got on the bus earlier and the bus driver started being rude to him like so yeah sure of course it did like that you know really as it turns out he actually pulled out receipts from the bus journeys that he had earlier on but anyway that was a little bit later and they started basically got it got quite heated and um the bus driver wouldn't let him stay on the bus even you know because it was quite a it's a fair walk that he would have had to done and he refused

to get off the bus and the bus driver said well I'll call the police and the bus and then the bloke said well go on then so the bus driver stopped the bus just turned the bus off now I'd had quite a long day you know I only just wanted to get home so I get up and I go over to the front of the bus well I was at the near the front anyway so go over over at this point um they look like they're like about to have a punch up they're really going

at each other and I think that bus driver was lucky I think he was lucky that I did get up so I I just calmed it down I said look I'll pay how much is it and the bus driver was still mouthing off to him I just said just and I sort of other bloke the car the passenger said no just ignore him and um I paid paid for him to get to where he was going I don't know how much it was but I just did it on my debit card never paid on a

bus with a debit card before I didn't charge me a hundred pound um that wouldn't that wasn't that wasn't that much in there I think but anyway I paid that and I and they was still going and the bus driver he really was almost looking like he was looking for a fight and he was just being sarcastic and rude to the customer and in the end I kind of almost had to sort of like come on to the to the to the other person come on let's just go let's go and sit down it's fine

just let it let it go and the bus driver was like just I was trying to just shut up now that's enough it's like telling off a kid you know like being a school teacher or something and then when we get off the bus so he gets off the bus he says you should be ashamed of yourself to the bus driver because he was the bus driver was very rude and not in the least bit um a little bit of caring a little bit of caring you know for someone that is they can't get on

the journey the debit cards stop working I had the similar thing to my debit card in fact it is doing it with the um with the supermarket it did it with amazon it's just stopped working I had to phone up and now it's done it with the supermarket and there's money in there not a lot but there's money in there so I know that debit cards can play up and so I was just and the bus driver was really just rude so I sorted that mess out prevented a fight prevented having to wait for ages

because you know for the police to arrive and in that time who knows what horrible stuff might have happened so I hopefully I prevented that well I did prevent something but I don't know quite what so I can't see into the future of what didn't happen if you know what I mean what might have happened and then I get home I just and last night I still my stomach was a bit and but yeah it's a lot better today and I went to bed fairly early probably about 11 o'clock 11ish maybe just after 11 I

went to bed and I woke up at what half four so yeah so I had about five and a half five hours sleep or something um which is I'd normally have more than that but for some reason I didn't need it today I woke up and I'm feeling all right so that was the day that was yesterday I took oh yeah I took the dog my friend's dog out for a long walk in the fields last night and it was pitch black couldn't see nothing I could see the path funny enough because it's like a

dirt path but he was loving it and he'd been ill you know that was the first time that he wasn't ill so I think getting out for a nice long walk sniffing you know having enough breathing fresh air the night air the sniffing being chance you know he loves to sniff the whatever he's sniffing on the ground and he wasn't ill once when he was out with me and I think I probably necked him out as well so he probably had a good sleep so I think he's okay now well I hope so and that's

it that is the story of yesterday and I came home and I watched oh yeah boxing was on boxing so I watched some boxing and then when it finished I took the dog for a walk came home and went to bed that was it literally that was I might have watched a bit of the news when I got home because I was home in time to watch the news yeah at six o'clock so I think I watched the news about four minutes past six in the evening I watched it for about 10 minutes and I

turned it off just like that's enough of that thanks and yeah that was it went on to YouTube and there was like the pre-fights to the to the boxing like what's that I didn't know there was boxing on so I watched the pre-fights and then I watched the actual boxing and that finished about half nine something like that so yeah it's all good man so I want to go that's a very factual recording just to the point this happened this happened then that happened then what happened then this happened and we all went home afterwards

smiling I don't know what that was so I'm going to go thank you for listening remember be kind to yourself you deserve to be happy be gentle with yourself and do something nice for yourself today just something doesn't have to cost money just something you enjoy doing just do something even if it's a tiny little thing just do something for yourself today something something that you enjoy a little treat okay and I will be back again tomorrow possibly in the evening I don't know sometime tomorrow on Sunday because it's Saturday today so take care lots

of love bye
