That's where I was going wrong yesterday when I was trying to do this. Because I just figured because this, the graphics are moving, but nothing with those sound. But you have to press the play button.
So I'll turn it off. So basically, the setup I've got, I've got two microphones, one for the podcast I'm recording, one for the streaming that I'm doing live. It's just blimey mate, blimey.
You know what I mean? It's a fair bit of stuff to do. So what I'm gonna do is be be be be, I need to share this on Facebook and Twitter in order for just so people to know that I'm here. Did age here.

to me live the good thing about it is if I'm gonna cough I can just press the off button and I pressed it like a put not pause but the I think it's like a cough button really I'll do that see couldn't hear nothing but a bum bum bum nothing again see all right with the with the podcast I can edit out or I can pause while I'm recording but with the live one I can just switch off the microphone temporarily which is really good I'm just so will I do more live stuff I mean
in some ways I guess I could also in fact maybe I'll do that I don't know I could do a live Facebook stream but that would involve probably wearing a hat because my hair is I'm having a bad hair month it's really straggly like a scarecrow's pubic mound honestly my hair is awful and that's all part of growing it it's all part of growing up it's all part of growing my hair because for years I've been having my hair very short almost bald at times completely bald at times and but I've let it grow and
part of the problem with the growth is it's now got past the point of no return it's got to the point where it's just awful really really really bad really bad so I'm wondering on my podcast can you send messages because if I click on the chat invite Facebook friends there are no messages yet to be the first to say something leave a message hi everyone everyone so I'll put a message now you might not see this on the website which is annoying because I kind of hoped that it would include that but it doesn't

gonna try it on you have to sign in to leave a message that's not very good sign in so you can sign up so you can sign up with Facebook okay so you can just sign up and it's really to allow cookies and then you just put in your login details part for Facebook and it signs you up oh you can sign up with Google that's a bit rubbish I like the idea of not having to sign up in order to leave messages personally just my personal little preference all these signing into things I think
it's very very boring having to keep signing into stuff you know I realized I shouldn't say that about my own product but I don't want to keep signing into stuff you know you know I mean you get me so a couple of people Jody's commented on the link that I shared okay where where have you commented because I can't see oh oh there's a previous post I put it's best 15 hypnosis podcasts my podcast were ranked number five and ten with the feedpot feedspot.com number five and ten of the 20th of the top 15 hypnosis

what I mean but I do that's the main thing the main thing is that I know I know I know I know I know oh I know and the good thing about this is that the live broadcast will be it's just gonna be a live broadcast the live stream and then what I might do is then I'll upload the actual podcast separate or maybe delete the stream and upload yeah when the streams finished it'll be deleted and then I'll upload the actual podcast which will be edited and you know better quality sound but I'm not
sure by how much because it's pretty good quality I'm using a damn good microphone for both I mean I could listen to it again tell me what you think of the sound okay that's no good okay so that's I can't really play it if I'm gonna doing that oh I know what happened I know what's happened click on that so should here we go so it's not bad quality sound is it what's gonna be really weird feedback hearing myself then hearing myself hearing myself see hello hello this is weird so it's entertaining me I'm gonna
turn it off it's too strange too strange I think that's a good quality sound I do even if I say so myself so to do the live stream I'm using the as I've got two really good microphones I've got the one they're both the same make the both what are they sure sure acid deodorant both sure microphones different ones a podcast microphone the other one isn't there's still a podcast you know this they're very very good quality very very good mics they've both got the stands you know the good stands that reach over the desk
one on my right side which is the podcast which is connected to the iPad with the booster and then I've got the left-hand microphone which is connected to another amplifier booster thing which is then connected to my iPhone which is now using the app the Spree app in order to broadcast stream the podcast live and I could also use the same setup to record the podcast so I don't I don't necessarily need to have my iPad to do this I could do on the phone although it's a hell of a lot easier to to edit
on the iPad than it is on the phone but as far as a setup goes I don't know it might actually be easier to do it on the phone as a record to record it and then edit on the iPad if I was traveling away or visiting because there's less equipment yeah there's a little bit less equipment it's only one booster I forget what it's called but it's an eye specifically for using with the iPhone connected to this mic and if I've got a little mic stand rather than them the big old thing that I'm
using here the desk mic arm thing I've got like just a normal mic stand then it would be easier as well yeah and also if I've got a cable that was a lot shorter like a really nice because the cables were really long I've got if I could get a couple of cables that were only maybe two foot long each it just be a much tidier desk it would but be a tidier if I was you know doing the recording from outside where I live you know if I was going somewhere else because at the
moment it's fine I've got two desks I'm using both the desks I've got a laptop in front of me so I can do some research while I'm talking and also that's how I was able to listen to the podcast I got the phone in front of me which is recording the streaming live and they got the other on the right hand side that desk that's where the iPad is that's where the microphone is that's recording me for the podcast just recording it blimey that's a lot of stuff I could also I could also have in
fact what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna unclick the laptop oh brilliant unclick the laptop that way it won't start worrying or whizzing so you know keep as much background sound to the minimum as possible as I can I could also if I wanted I suppose stream live to Facebook on a video at the same time and you know so I could literally be doing three and I think potentially I could stream to Facebook and a couple of different things at the same time as well like video wise I mean I'm not going to right
now but it's definitely a possibility to be able to do that I think I could set up the laptop to stream at the same time as well onto YouTube I could and there's a way of doing that as well so I could stream this live to YouTube stream it live to Facebook and maybe have out of all those two and then stream it live as an audio and then record it as a podcast as well separate so have all these different things going on and I suppose if I did that then there would be possibly
enough people watching listening for me to then include you in the recording or in the show so I guess it's turning from being a podcast episode into a show isn't it the let me bore you to sleep show I like the idea of being a radio you know no technically it's not radio but it's just I like that I'd love to I'd love to have me own radio show like a proper radio show on a proper radio channel where I did maybe a couple of hours or three hours a day just talking just you know
talking about stuff that's going on so what I thought I would do I'll get rid of that get rid of that get rid of that get rid of that get rid of that get rid of that and get rid of what's the stats no I'm not gonna tell you just don't look for myself I'm trying to I'm trying to learn to never mention statistics again they've gone down a lot since yesterday halved in fact not halved actually but less because because I uploaded a lot of recordings with background music it's reduced now compared to what
it was but it's okay I've still still got 25,000 downloads today but yesterday was 39,000 49,000 the day before it's going down it'll be like 13 and a half by the end of the week oh no but I've had some ideas ladies and gentles I've had some ideas about what I could do regarding longer recordings with music so I'll give you my ideas let us know what you think let us know what you think I need to find a way where everyone can can like send me messages from the same place how do I do
that how do I do it there's gotta be message me it's gotta be a place oh there's actually a place called message me message me that was 2014 blimey like a message portal just a place where everybody can contact me everybody unless if what I could do I suppose is and I don't like whatsapp but I could do a whatsapp page couldn't I whatsapp page just for people that listen to the let me bore you to sleep podcast ah how about that or you know what I could use the Facebook page for the that I've
got for the let me bore you to sleep I mean that kind of makes a bit doesn't it yeah what do you think let's have a look let me bore you to sleep so I've got a page just to let me bore you to sleep so I could potentially just say join me on there and leave me messages but then I could say you can leave your messages on Twitter should I should that be the place that you can leave your messages that might be easier just leave your messages on so live stream now on

Blimey it's just repeating itself yeah oh I get so tired sometimes did you do a Justin Bieber has a hundred and fourteen million followers not only that he's following 286,000 people no he's not he might have down that he is but he's not for you it's impossible to follow that many people so I reckon at the beginning of his because he I'm sure he doesn't even control Twitter someone else or set out for him and because you can you might not know this but you can actually pay money to get fans and to get people
following you on Twitter or Facebook Instagram it used to be to I mean this is something that's been normal for years that's that's how a lot of famous people have huge amounts a lot of these obviously you know fans but the more you have the more you get so it's a weird one if you if you have a million fans or million followers on Twitter you'll end up with two million a lot quicker than it took you to get to the first million because people learn from all it must be good obviously not with like
super famous people because that's already kind of sorted isn't it oh I had to press pause there just a big old cough oh where were you when I told you that you're something very special to me oh yes you were sitting there eating cake and brie I I don't know what's the best way because I like that level of interaction but at the same time I like to be able to do it without distraction that makes sense now I've got a message there who's that from all right okay that's from Kerry hi Kerry she sent

sent me kisses ladies and gentlemen I've pulled so me and smed are we getting married and on Saturday so you're welcome I will stream it live so please join so yeah it's I don't know what recording she was listening to though I don't know if it was one of these or whether it was one of the others because if you might not be aware I do lots of different podcasts I do deep sleep whisper I do relaxation for stress and anxiety I do relax and sleep daily I do boring objects I do bedtime story time
yeah I do a few different things now I'm gonna cough lovely I hope that you can't hear that in the live broadcast because I was sniffing and I was my head was literally rattling off my body it was like I was proper rattling to the point where I actually hold out to hold my head while I was coughing now I'm gonna go get some water so I just realized I'm not attached to anything so I can't actually get up there we go there's quite a lot quite a bit of room here really I can move
around in the past I've had a setup where it's almost I was going with a setup where I'm very restricted I end up banging the mics although I did just bang one of the mics just then but I didn't need to I chose to we're gonna do about it nothing my mic and bang it if I want what's what do you so yeah it's I don't know though my stomach's making strange I'm probably gonna have to eat again at some point I had something to eat earlier but I'll have to eat again so annoying what
was I gonna say oh I I I if I'm gonna do I'm gonna cough again hmm great I'm going down come down with a cold that's nice I can't be bothered to mute I don't have to cough I'm human kind of human ish I if I was gonna do a live broadcast on this show that let me bore to sleep show I need to do it first of all I need to be consistent you know I need to do it a certain time on a certain day or days and stick to those times otherwise it
just doesn't work does it I mean for the podcast I just record and upload whenever as I do with all my stuff I don't stick to a specific time for my podcasts when I record them I go through periods when I go when I seem to establish a kind of a routine where I end up doing the podcast roughly the same time every day for a while but at the moment that's not the case so if I was to do a regular everyday live broadcast it would I mean the benefits of that or the benefits
of the podcast is you can listen anytime but I guess I guess one of the benefits maybe it's something nice about hearing live isn't there hearing someone talk live and hearing them sniff live there's nothing nice in that is there but it's something quite nice about the live broadcast and I'll admit I prefer it to just be audio no video just audio and I know that that's not really the way of the world especially with live streaming live streaming is predominantly video that's the popular format for live streaming but what's wrong with what's wrong with
audio I mean it's just the same as radio so radio I think is in some ways probably more popular now than it used to be for it has been for a long time the spoken word has become more fashionable and I think maybe part of the reason because when you listen to me going you know I had a when I worked in a call center I had someone phone me up once for a quote the car insurance and I said we're a supermarket mate I don't know why you you know you just call up this
is a complaints department for Sainsbury's and if you purchase something that you're not happy with I can help you with that but car insurance don't do it bugger off no I did the car insurance I we did he phoned up and I swear he had the phone up his nose all the way through but it was it was like oh really really gross which is kind of what I'm doing here so can't really I don't know I need a little bit of feedback for this because I'm not doing it for me it's for you or
for whoever's listening would you want to hear me do this recording live regularly you know Monday to Friday evenings or Monday to Friday early morning you know midnight or one o'clock in the morning UK time is that something oh yeah what I was saying is will you listen to perhaps not my recordings because you know I'm assuming that you've got your eyes closed and you're gone Bob eyes but I know a lot of people would listen including myself would listen to spoken word podcasts whilst doing something else now of course shouldn't really do that with
my podcasts especially things like driving or piloting a helicopter or you know passenger jet I mean please if you're if you're in a pilot seat right now listening to me and you've got 500 people in your plane and you're you know six hundred six thousand miles up in the air or whatever please turn it off yeah please or please open your eyes please open your eyes and I've always that big mountain there please thank you very much so I guess the difference between is if you're watching a video and you're gonna want to watch it
in it you know it's not a lot else you can do really well I don't think there's a lot I can do whilst the telly's on or whilst YouTube videos being played I mean sometimes I do I do I'll I'll be building a website whilst watching something on telly but I can't give my undivided attention to what's on the telly sometimes I don't need to sometimes I listen to a lecture so an educational lecture which means I don't have to look at the screen I can just listen to it a bit like a TED talk
or something like that I don't know what do you think I mean it puts a it puts a degree of pressure on me and as far as like having to be here at a certain time or I'm gonna be here anyway where else am I gonna be out gallivanting in the nightclubs no dancing pole dancing nope I don't know what you think genuinely I know you can't answer right now but it's a genuine question I don't is it something do you think is useful because you know I'm still gonna be making the other podcasts and
I don't really want to do those live because with this I don't know what I'm gonna say with those other podcast recordings I don't know what I'm gonna say however with those podcasts it's you know I can edit and if this you know I can edit it before releasing it I kind of want to know what I've said before I release it with these podcasts it doesn't really matter with the let me boil to sleep I just say what I want to say I forget what I've said it's just all nonsense it's just a bunch
of stuff really very very shallow pointless chitter-chatter you could say but is it something you'd like to have live and if so I guess let me know but even if you sort of say yeah I might you know a few you might contact me and say yeah do it live doesn't mean I'm going to so I don't mean that rudely I'm just saying I don't I'm not so definitely gonna do anything particularly apart from continue with the podcast I have every intention of continuing with this and this is number 777 episode 777 and if nothing
else I've got to reach the thousand am I I mean every three years I'll reach another thousand roughly which is I guess that's how long it's yeah seven seven I've been doing this three years now I think is it I don't know let me just have a look let me boil to sleep create three years ago so let's just have a look at number one what was the date let you okay no it's wow it's over blimey the first recording I did to let me boil to sleep was a 27th March 2018 so 27th of
March 18 19 20 21 March April May June July August September October November December three years and nine months I've been doing these Let Me Bore You To Sleep podcasts three years so literally end of March so it's now the end of December nearly not far off it another week and I'll be Christmas just over a week so Thursday Friday two more days and then it's a week before Christmas I think Chris is it ten days away or nine days I'm not sure but anyway so January February March three months and it'll be four years
for very long for tedious years for boring is I should do something to celebrate shouldn't I the 27th of March 2022 to mark four years of doing this podcast there needs to be some kind of celebration something I don't know what who knows again I need to we need to build a community here just a little bit of a community just for this podcast not any of the others just this one and although saying that I love to hear what everyone's got to say about how they're getting on how they benefit in what they like
about the different podcasts that I do so that would be nice but there's gotta be set up fan page only fans I could I could have me own only fans page where can I create a fan page I'm just googling this the most direct way to begin to build a fan pages from blue control bar at the top of a Facebook page on this bar next to the home button choose to create you'll get a drop-down menu listen several no I want something where people don't have to go to Facebook or it's something that would
be easier set up a fan pay set up fan text page text page no fan texter text message text message ideas to engage your fans text messages provide you and your fans the opportunity for guide to SMS text marketing for independent musicians it's not that I really want to contact other people it's more so they can contact me build your community community is a text messaging service it connects individuals and organizations instantly and directly to audience through text message at scale I wonder what there's gotta be because at the moment at the moment it's all
about you know Facebook Twitter Instagram WhatsApp and that to me is it'd be just nice to have one place maybe WhatsApp is the place maybe maybe WhatsApp is the place to contact me have my excuse me I was loud have my own WhatsApp community but I hate WhatsApp really don't like WhatsApp and I've got a phone I could use that so people can just text me but I'm wondering costs of texting from USA to UK costs of texting from USA to the UK okay calling calls and texting from USA to the UK can you text
from USA to the UK okay first of all in order to text and call outside the United States or any country you need the correct country code of the country blah blah okay I know that how to call and send text to the UK from USA mobile phone right let's have a look at this I was wondering how because I've got a phone and I've got a mobile phone with a number that I do not use so I could technically use that telephone number and give that out and have that solely for this podcast for
this live stream so what does it say here this is on tech wallah.com what is that there's a weirdness it Australian wallah sounds like an Australian word calling texting friends and family in the United Kingdom are pretty simple go away almost as easy as calling in the United States where you just input the area code and phone number of the person you are trying to contact step one determine if you want to call or text the person you are trying to contact in the United Kingdom there are three parts to an international call the international direct dial in IDD code the country code and the phone number step
two check that you have the proper phone number look up the IDD code the IDD code is a number used when you want to start an international call this is boring isn't it for the United States it is a 011 you must always dial the IDD of the country you are in prior to any call okay we've got that you just make sure you've got the right code before you start and dial that before the number of the thing step 3 look up the UK country code in order to text and call outside of the
United States or to any country you need the correct country code of the country right step 4 input the IDD first followed by the country code okay I'm confused now what's the IDD code type your message and send it if you want to text the message indicator on the phone on the mobile phone will notify you that your message has been sent tell us is a Canadian company that provides tell it what the provides somewhere so I think that's a separate thing oh no it's not oh no no how to make a tell us international
call I don't know what that is can you text from USA to UK in order to text and call outside the United States or any country you need the correct country code UK code so that's that seems fairly simple will I get charged from for texting a UK number as the number you're wanting to text is a UK mobile number you would not be charged for texting them no matter really as the number you're wanting to text is a UK mobile number you would not be charged for texting them no matter where they are in
the world you would only be charged if you actually text a foreign number as you number you wanted okay that doesn't make sense if you because the UK is a foreign number isn't it if you're in America is there a charge for texting internationally texting from smartphones this is triphacker.com texting from your smartphone in another country means you will pay to send and receive text messages if you send a traditional SMS if you okay if you so luckily there are three ways to send texts using Wi-Fi when you have a Wi-Fi connection you will not
be using your data plan and all data will be sent and received over Wi-Fi ah so if you send me a text over Wi-Fi it doesn't cost anything is that what they're saying is that what they're saying how can I text internationally for free Google Hangouts Whatsapp I hate
Whatsapp Whatsapp Boss Revolution what's Boss Revolution Facebook Messenger okay are iMessages free internationally international messaging okay because iMessage uses the internet you can message friends and family in other countries who have iPhones without the need for an international data plan if you don't iMessages from iPhones won't make it to your new Android phone ah so if you send an iMessage how do you send an iMessage though let me see Xfinity.com says what's the difference between iMessages and text messages let's check this out what does it say here because I'm curious about that if you use
an iPhone you might wonder why some of your text messages are in a blue bubble and others are in a green bubble this isn't for looks it's how Apple indicates you're sending an SMS text message green or an iMessage blue we can help you figure out what these options are and how to use them okay so it says here what is what is an SMS message when we first started
using cell phones we could make phone calls and send messages over cellular network this type of message was called SMS or short message service text message back then sending SMS messages was inconvenient it required the painstaking task of inputting letters on a numerical keyboard but then smartphones came along with their on screen keyboards and texting quickly became a primary form of communication smartphones also brought us data a connection to the internet over that cellular network the combination meant we could more easily send pictures videos and other data in our text messages making them even more
useful to send text messages all you need is a text message plan with your cellular carrier we are cellular carrier we just call them mobile phones in the UK if you're interested in unlimited texting check out your latest Xfinity mobile plans no go away stop trying to sell me things what is an iMessage okay here we go iMessage is Apple's own instant messaging service that sends messages over the internet using your data they only work when you have an internet connection so to send iMessages you need a data plan or you can send them over
Wi-Fi if you use Wi-Fi there's no cost but if you use cell phones data it's deducted from your data plan okay sending pictures or videos iMessage over iMessage can use a fairly self-explanatory quite easy to understand I think iMessage is located in the default message app on your iPhone the app is capable of sending both iMessage and SMS messages iMessages are in blue and text messages are in green iMessages only work between iPhones and other Apple devices such as iPads if you are using an iPhone and you send a message to a friend on Android

We discussed that each of these terms, what each of these means, the difference in technology is powered. Okay, SMS. Well, they've done it almost like it's a lecture.
SMS and MMS, what are the differences and similarities? Okay, MMS stands for multimedia message service. It was built using the same technology SMS to allow SMS users just that's just normal text to send multimedia content. It's most popular used to send pictures, but can also be used to send audio, phone contacts and video files.
Because SMS and MMS are sent over a cellular network, they only require a wireless plan from cellular carriers to get started. Standard SMS messages are limited to MMS messages do not have a standard limit. While their maximum size depends on the carrier and the device receiving the message.
Okay, so is what I would say, send me contact me on that number. Send me a text message. But iMessage rather send me an iMessage.
MMS I might as well just leave that on. I'm not sure if it's MMS messaging. Yeah, leave it.

And if you're abroad, of course, you can still use iAndroid phones, but it would perhaps cost money to send a text. That to me seems like the best way to do it. That means everything comes to just one place.
One telephone number where you can iMessage or text. And yeah, and I won't respond unless you want me to respond. But generally I will just and you know, it will just be I use that as messages that I can then post on to I can mention in my next Let Me Boy To Sleep podcast.

Blimey Christmas Island calling landline from the UK calling mobile from the UK. Wow. It's gone up by a pound a minute, two pounds a minute for pretty much, well, it's quite a few different countries in the world, two pounds a minute calling either a landline or a mobile phone from the UK.
This is for one of the network, O2 that has a mobile thing, but they're putting up by a pound a minute in, oh, it was last year, April 1st, 2020, three pounds a minute. That's a big difference, isn't it? If you think about it at 60 pounds an hour more than it was before. So instead of being 60 pounds an hour.
So if I call America or South Africa or Libya or Kosovo or Algeria, Alaska. So let's say I call America or Canada, it's going to cost me, it would have cost me not got it wrong, didn't I? 60, 60 pounds, blimey, one pound a minute, 60 minutes at 60 pounds for one hour, 120 pounds for a whole hour for me to call Canada or United States would cost before April 2020, 120 pounds. For one hour, 120 pounds, now 180 pounds an hour.
That's using this network, this O2. Now I know, I know that there are, BT does certain plans where it's not expensive, where you can phone other countries for like up to an hour at a time. Calling, calling, texting USA from the, you know, checking from, no, I don't want that.

Can you text someone in a different country? You can text someone. This is Quora.com. You can text someone through normal text if you don't have roaming charges with your carrier. In the EU, you can text many countries and there's little to no roaming charges.
If you're in the US, then outside the US texting may incur charges, but some do have special packages for text and calls to Mexico and Canada. So it's a case of checking it out for yourself. Really, I think that's what I've got from it.
That's what I've inhaled from the information that it's been giving to me. Yeah, so really, it's that simple. I now have, you now have a way to text me, contact me, and yeah, because I've been receiving text messages on my phone that have been sent to the other phone and I don't want to share that.
It's a different phone.
