Can you imagine how many people listen to me if anyone actually knew I existed? I'm doing all right considering I'm unknown and no one knows me. And still getting, you know, half a million downloads a month. So imagine if no one even knew I existed, man.
Wow. Wow. Actually, more.
It's it's more than half a million, isn't it? Because it's, uh, it's above 20,000 every day. So that's 600,000 a month. Oh, well.
Oh, it's just because last last month. Does anyone is anyone interested? Oh, come on, you know, you know, you want to hear it. I've actually got the stats on my wall.
See, I don't even have to look look online now. It's all on my wall in big letters, or big numbers. It's gone up.
But the last month isn't representative of my daily now because the dailies gone up the last half of last month it went up. But anyway, I can only go back as far as April last year. Now this year, rather, because because because because of the wonderful things he does.
And because speak up my podcast host decided to do something which resulted in all the stats being deleted. Now I can get the stats individually per podcast. But overall, there's no overall stats.
If I look at the overall stats for the year, I've got one half million, or you know, for three years, it says one and a half million. But that's only since April. That's the last six months.
1.5 one half million. So that's that's no good to me. But I can give you the stats for April 177,509.
May 2021 193,699. June 2012,471. July it went down.
So I think I must have had a week off for I think that was I think that was a week was ill. So I had a cold. And the end of June began I was I was on holiday as well.
I felt I was on a holiday for a week then I had a cold for about five days. So I'm trying to think of excuses. But July was a slow month.
So I didn't produce many recordings. But it's 151,326. Then I'm back on track in August 210,700.
And then September last month 458,662. So I'm more than doubled the downloads. Now in August, I was struggling to get 10,000 a day, like for three years, my dream in life.
And you can think this is sad and pathetic, but well, you're right. But it doesn't matter. I don't care.
I don't care what you think. I was struggling to get 10,000 a day up until August. All the way through three years, my goal at the end of 2008 and the end of 2019.
My goal was to have 10,000 downloads a day average didn't happen. My goal at the end of 2020. You guessed it to have 10,000 downloads a day.
Never happened. I did get 10,000 occasionally. But didn't you know, not every day.
And then my goal for this year was again, get to 10,000. Because at the beginning of the year, what was I getting? I'm just using a laptop here. So laptop, Mr. Laptop, January.
Oh, of course, there's nothing to display until April. Yeah, thanks. Brilliant.
Absolutely ridiculous. So I can't get the individual podcast either. Nothing to learn.
That's so annoying, you know, because I know I can get the individual podcast is just the overall. So let's look at April then April, April, April, April, April, April. Okay.
Sometimes I was hitting 10,000. I hit 10,000 12345678 in April. So it's clearly you know, I was I was amazed.
I was really happy. Because for the first time, I'd kind of broken the barrier. And then some stuff happened in my life that really made all that stuff very insignificant.
So may so look at May. Yeah, I didn't reach 10,000 once in May. So I think I I don't know, it's hard to tell.
But I don't have the actual stats of how many recordings I did and all that stuff. But it was less I think possibly. I don't know.
I don't know. But anyway, now if you jump forward to what we September or last month, August, August, we got, let me work it out. 210,000 to 10,000 divided by 30 is averaging 7000 a day.
So then when we get to last month, 20458662. I was averaging 15,000 a month. So you know, it's and 127103.
I'm now averaging 21,118 a month now. So it's okay, isn't it? I'll stop talking about stats now. But I was just, I don't know what it is just surprised.
But it took so long. See, I could be like, Oh, yeah, look at me. I've done all this and it's been overnight, but it hasn't.
It hasn't been overnight. How many years is it? 2006, 2007, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21. So it's been 16 years nearly 16 years in January.
I've been working on this. So I'm kind of a failure really, aren't I? In a way, if you think about it, I'm really, this is gone really slowly. 16 years.
16. Who, who in the world devote 16 years of their life to just messing around with podcasts and videos? 16 years. I mean, can you believe it? There's people out there that had babies.
And now their babies have had babies in that time that I started doing this. Crazy, isn't it? I mean, there might have been 17 year olds listening to me 16 years ago, and now they're grandfathers or grandparents. I don't understand at all.
Wow. So this month so far, and it hasn't been the best. Well, it's a lot better than normal.
But the first Friday, the first I got nearly just under 18,000. I don't think I did one recording at all that day. Saturday, 20,280.
Sunday, the third, 18,000. 18,841. 28,261 on Monday, which was the, yes, the highest day I've ever had.
I've never had that many in one day before. That was two days ago, wasn't it? Yesterday, just 25,577. Today so far, 16,260.
There's still five and a half hours left of the day to go. So that'll go above 20,000. But I don't know what by because I've made three recordings today.
So it's different parts of the world open up, don't they? Different parts of the world listen at different times. So quite often around this time, suddenly there's a spurt in downloads in the early evening. And that might be the UK to be fair, UK people listening in the evening.
I don't know. All I do know is, I mean, for example, I can show you this is stuff that although it's boring, which is supposed to be, it's mildly interesting. Well, put it this way.
You know, if you go on YouTube, or, you know, you got a lot of people on there telling you how much money they've earned, or telling you how to how you can be a millionaire or how you can get, you know, millions of subscribers and stuff like that. And I've watched a lot of those videos. And a lot of it makes sense as far as you know, consistency, quality, all the things that I've never been much good at, you know, with YouTube.
I've figured out a way with my new microphone and my new setup, I can make videos a lot better now, the quality of the videos way better than I've ever had it before. And although the it's easy, it's much easier to make the visual quality better with the quality of the cameras now, it's much easier. But the sound was a problem.
And now I've conquered that issue with a really good setup. So now the sound is as good on a video as it is on the podcast. So I'm pretty much I don't know if it's exactly this.
It's good. It's a good quality sound. Which means there's no need to make a video and make an audio at the same time.
Although I make I make podcasts at the same time, but there's no like splicing it together and all that stuff. Because when I make a podcast, and if I cough, I edit that out. If I do a live stream on a video, I can't edit that out.
Or if I make a video, it's a little bit harder to edit out. I mean, I can you know, I can edit it out. I guess it's pretty easy.
But I just be I'd need to use a different setup, you know, I need to in some ways, I think the quality of the audio. It's the one thing I noticed is I listened to an old video, my old it was a few days ago. Exactly the same setup without a microphone.
There was a microphone, you know, without my the new setup, just a microphone in the camera. And the volume difference was huge. Absolutely phenomenal.
I didn't have to turn the volume up hardly at all in order to hear it clearly. And it was clearer, crisper. It was, it's like a talcum powder fart, you know, some perfect, because that's perfection, isn't it? You know, I mean, it's very much like that.
Nice and crisp and clean. So the problem is, I don't really want to make videos anymore. Partly that is because you know, I prefer the freedom of voice, the freedom of just talking the freedom of sitting here in my pajamas if I want sitting there in the nude, sitting there dressed as a cat, you know, whatever I want to do is up to me.
Can't do that on a camera. I have to. Admittedly, if you watch my videos, you'll see that all I'm doing is wearing a t shirt.
But I had to brush my hair to make sure that I haven't got spinach in between my teeth. Although I don't eat spinach. I don't know where it comes from.
That's not algae, I don't know, just there. But yeah, it's just it's that preparation. And then looking at myself and seeing my funny face in the screen of the camera is a distraction is a distraction is a big, smelly distraction.
And I don't like it one bit. Right. Here's what I'm going to share with you something that you don't you won't get this probably on any other podcast.
And you won't get this probably on any YouTube video. The statistics, the real Oh God, he's talking about statistics again. No, it's this is more interesting.
It's not just about how many downloads I get. There are other more interesting things I could tell you as well, but I won't. But I can I've told you about, I've told you about sources before.
I'm not talking about ketchup or brown sauce or chili sauce. I'm talking about sources as in where the people come from. And for example, on the 30th of September, 20,011 came from Apple podcasts.
383 came from Spotify. 277 from cast box. Now, I struggle a little bit with this because I like Spotify.
I love Apple podcast because that's where most of my traffic comes from, or most of my listeners traffic. But I'm sure I used to get more Spotify's that in the past. I mean, 383 400 500 600 whatever sometimes but the stats for the month 400,326 came from Apple podcast 12,560 came from Spotify.
Cast box 9000 8936 stitcher 6302 podcast addict 4054 overcast 3801 pod bean 2049 iTunes. Now it's confusing me because Apple podcast is iTunes. It's 2025.
Amazon Music six 1601. So that's starting to grow a bit. iHeartRadio 1550 1525.
And player FM 1491 tuning radio 1360. Mozilla 1277. Google podcasts, which I had such high hopes for.
I really thought and hoped that I was going to get a lot of listeners on there. But it hasn't happened yet. 1272 generic Android app, whatever that is 1066.
And then it goes down. Spreaker 692, which I find quite interesting considering I host on speaker. And so I don't get many listeners actually directly on the speaker.
So there you go. So 87% of my listeners listen to me on Apple podcasts, devices, you don't even have to hear me say you all know, don't we? The top device, I'm not talking about the type of phone. But we know it's going to be a phone.
That's the top device is listened to 97.12% of my podcasts I listen to on a phone. And then the rest is like minor 0.98% desktop, pretty much the same for tablet, smart speaker 0.07% TV 0.05% smartwatch, not much voice, voice, I don't know what that is. And Apple, the phone, the systems listener on Apple is 91.83%. Android 6.12%. Mac OS 0.44. So that would be the MacBook iOS is the phone, isn't it? And the tablet.
And then there's other ones I've never heard of. So Windows, of course, yeah, not not 0.42%. Amazon Electra 0.7. Linux heard of that. Roku.
Okay, I know that Fuchsia. Never heard of Fuchsia. Watch OS.
So that's the Android watch. That's the Apple Watch. Chrome OS.
Is that the Chromebook? I think. And there's an OS X arm 64 got no idea what that is. Google Nest.
What's a Google Nest? Tyson. So I don't know. This is stuff I just don't know.
Now something that did surprise me is this. My back, my back still hurting a bit. The middle of my back.
Oh, I don't know. Let's say two years ago. Well, let's say for the last 16 years.
America being way in above the highest percentage of listeners are from America. The United States. So wherever, whatever's classes United States.
Because there's some countries that aren't America, their classes United States, haven't they? The Pearl Harbor. And that's nowhere near America, is it some places? What other places? It's like England. We've got that as well.
Britain. Is it Gibraltar? We got the it's like nowhere near is Gibraltar is that closer to Africa, isn't it? So no, it's nothing to do. How is that? Can that be our country? Hey, I know how but just seems silly now in this day and age.
And okay. You've got I used to have at least 80% America audience, at least 80%. Sometimes 85%, but at least 80%.
Now, the percentage of people in the United States, and the percentage of my podcast listeners who listen in the United States are 47.67%. Now you could at first think, well, oh, no, your your listeners have gone down. You got less listeners now. No, no, completely opposite.
And more people in America listening to me. It's just there's more people in other countries listening to me as well. If that makes sense.
So yeah, I've got 47.67% of my listeners in the United States. But out of that is 218,642 downloads. And it is still the top.
It's still the top. United Kingdom is second at 23.96%. That's 109,891 downloads last month. Why this excites me? I say excites.
I'm not like, you know, I'm not feeling all horny. I'm just saying it excites me. Because the one thing that didn't bug me, but it used to frustrate me a little bit is how my own country didn't seem to be listening or didn't seem to not listen, but I didn't seem to be able to reach my own country.
Now often I've been second, you know, United Kingdom being second, but it's been a big drop off from America to every other country. And it still is kind of but not huge is what it was. But now to have 110,000 nearly thousand people or downloads rather in the United Kingdom, I'm really pleased with that.
Because I'm kind of able to, I knew I had UK people listening, always have done since I've been doing this. But I, it was such a small amount, really. Just in a few, a few thousand really, like, dotted around.
And the chance of any of them ever meeting each other in the street is very rare. But now, I thought, wow. So thank you, wherever you're listening.

Everyone in the United States that listens, everyone in the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, Philippines, India, Norway, Spain, Sweden, gotta go down the list. France, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Denmark, Mexico, Portugal, South Africa, Germany, Myanmar, Singapore, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, and the others.
So there's another other countries and it's for the 15,000 downloads from other countries. So that 3.26% is the other country. So I don't know.
And so I'm just like, wow, I didn't realize this because I don't look at those stats very often. No, not, you always talk about me don't look at them. You're always talking about it.
Of course you look at them. No, I don't look at these stats. The stats of where people are that are listening.
It's rare that I actually, you know, I have done a podcast talking about this before. But it's rare. Honestly, it's you believe me or not.
And you should know that I lie all the time. But I'm being honest. I'm being honest, Bob, I really am.
Australia. So got United Kingdom, United States, United Kingdom, Australia's neck and neck and second 39,156. Now not all of those podcasts could have been listened to by Molly.
Molly even what you couldn't listen to 40,000 downloads in one month. That's physically impossible. Especially since my most popular podcast now seems to be the 10 hour ones.
You can only listen to one of those a day. You know, you can't listen to them. Lots and lots of them.
And well, I don't know. So Canada's 30,798. Ireland 7093.
New Zealand 4859. And then it goes down, you've got the Philippines. 3000 3758 India.
So India like these countries, like India, is the most populated country in the world. I don't know in either India or China, I'm not sure which is the biggest population, but they're both both the biggest population in the world between the two of them. So I'd like to see more people because 3722 people from a country the size of India.
And that's literally like one person every 1000 miles or something. You know, it's might you could just be one family. I don't know.
One household. But yes, Norway is 3386. Spain 3248.
Sweden 2249. Spain. And I'm thinking of going to Spain.
I need a holiday. But not not as a in a kind of bereavement sense. Like I was a few months ago, I needed to get away.
I did need to get away and I did it wrong. I needed to get away on my own. And I was not company.
I was not good company for anybody. At that time. I needed to be on my own.
Ideally, somewhere. If you go somewhere where you don't speak their language, you can kind of be left alone. You don't have to engage in petty chit chat.
chit chit chat, chit chit chat. You know, I mean, you have to sort of engage in that. And so yeah, that probably would have been a better for me.
But to go somewhere like Spain, Spain can be quite good because parts of Spain were very, very, very highly, highly occupied by occupied by expats like you, you know, English people, where they have a big community out there. And they open bars and restaurants and things like that. So that might be perhaps a good place to go.
You know, because then I don't know, it might just be quite nice. Sweden, I'd like to go to Sweden. Out of the countries, I'd like to go to the United States.
I was invited to go over there to do some talks to a university. There was a university dean who contacted me. It was a lovely lady.
And I didn't know at the time, but she contacted me and invited me to go over there and talk about why do the hypnosis and you know, my, my, I guess my stance, my attitude, my way of thinking when it comes to helping people to relax and feel sleepy and you know, things like that. And I didn't rush into the opportunity, I should have just rushed it and took it with both hands and feet and span on me head in excitement. I mean, great opportunity, but I didn't, didn't sort of jump it.
I kind of sometimes need time to think about things before I do them. And sometimes life doesn't afford you the time does it to think about things. Sometimes you got to make a decision there and then, and get on with it.
And I didn't. And then the, the end of the world started and I just kind of everything was locked down quarantined and America was closed to England. I don't know if it still is.
So that was it done. Whether that opportunity will arise again, I don't know, but I'm thinking if I could strategically figure out where my audience is and maybe visit and maybe even do a one man show, but just do a, I don't know, a meet and greet or something so that people can come and meet me and greet me to say, hello. Hello.

So that's part of the reason why I'm not I'm kind of looking into this to see if there is an audience. The problem is with America. It's so big.
It's so big. So, yeah, that's just basically what I'm looking at. America is so big that there might be, you know, 220,000 downloads.
There might be, I don't know, let's say 30,000, 40,000 people listen to me over there. But they could be spread right out. I don't mean on the floor spread out.
I'm talking like spread out, you know, around the country, which means, you know, it wouldn't really work. But if there's like Los Angeles or a particular place where there's a group of people, then maybe that's possible. So Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, Philippines, India, Norway.
There's a lot there. So if I look at the United States, I can click on it and it gives me the region. California is the top region at 14.38%. Then I can click on that.
And then it gives me the cities. And I've got I didn't even know these cities existed. Honestly.
Vacaville is the number one city in did I say California Vacaville or Vacaville. 6.81%. Thousand Oaks, Los Angeles. I also know about Los Angeles.
I thought Los Angeles was a city. It is a city. I thought it was.
Yeah, okay, I'm gonna shut up. They realize there's that many cities. So what is this state? Is it a state? Is that it? Does that mean? Is California a state? I don't sound really ignorant right now.
But is it the United States? And then you've got states and there's
