Hello and welcome to jasonnewland.com. My name is Jason Newland and this is Let Me Bore You to Sleep. Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes. I hope you're well, I really do and I haven't made Let Me Bore You to Sleep since, when was it? It's not like a long time but it's, let's have a look, 13th of April and it's now the 17th.
So yeah, it's a few days and I don't normally go that long without making these recordings. The reason for that is that I've been trying to work on the videos side of things and it's just not coming together and trying to video and record the, you know, do the podcast and make the video at the same time. I'm not enjoying it, if I'm honest, I don't enjoy doing it like that.
I feel, I don't feel very comfortable, as opposed to now, I feel very comfortable. When I'm just talking into the microphone, I'm just me and this feels right. This feels almost like, I know it sounds a bit silly but almost like I was born to do this, you know, which is ridiculous.
I was born to sit in a room on my own talking into a bit of plastic, whatever it is, foam. Perhaps, you know, if I was going to look to be born to do something it would have been something a bit more interesting or useful perhaps but I think it has its merits. It seems to be of use to some people which is good but I enjoy doing this.
This is ultimately my goal. I think my goal in life was to try and find something that I was passionate about and maybe even obsessive about which could also help other people. Now I've had the passionate and obsessiveness in other things but they were not helping others, those things.
This I discovered, this, you know, 15 years ago I started doing this and it was a, not hypnosis, I've been doing hypnosis for 23 years but the 15 years of starting doing podcasts and making videos and, you know, making recordings, that is, it ignited something within me and the, I guess the idea of being able to reach people all over the world excited me, not in a weird way.
I wasn't moist, you know, just it made me feel good, it's like wow, because, you know, I could do group relaxation sessions or group sleep sessions or group pain relief sessions and even if I filled up, you know, a hall, you know, a venue, not like a, I mean realistically it's not going to be a theatre but if it was a group in a town hall or whatever once a week I might get 100 people, probably maximum, which is really good going really for something like this. But 100 people is just such a small amount and such a small number when I can reach thousands and thousands and thousands every day, hundreds of thousands a month.
It just seems like a, almost like a dream come true really, I suppose, because, you know, 20 years ago to reach that kind of an audience I'd have to be famous, I'd have to be on television or on radio or making CDs or tapes or DVDs or something like that and I'd have to have a degree of fame in order for an audience to purchase those things to see me or to listen to me. So, but, you know, I'm able to do this without anybody, no one knows who I am, even the people that listen don't know who I am, just some random person and that's quite cool, you know, literally 30 years ago.
You'd have to be going on to the Oprah Winfrey show or, you know, some, or the Terry Wogan show, whatever country you're in, to get seen or go on to a radio morning TV show to sort of share your wares or to try to sell yourself and with the internet it's just, I guess people find you, if you, it's a little bit like the field of dreams, is that the film? You're, you're builded, they will come.
That's kind of true a little bit with the internet. If you, if you put the work in, if you keep at it and you try, you know, sort of make the quality better, which I've tried to do, and people will come. So that's, yeah, I suppose I've been a bit reflective, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit, bit reflective on the situation and the, I've made quite a few videos over the last week and none of it's really coming out how I want it to be.
First of all, the face on the camera, the face on the video is not the face that I want to be there. It's, I don't have, like, you know, dysmorphia or anything like that. I see the reality, I see myself and I think, no, I don't actually like seeing myself on camera.
And I used to, it's not that I used to enjoy seeing myself on camera, but I used to enjoy doing it. I used to enjoy YouTube and making videos and, but in all honesty, I didn't put hardly any work into editing. Quite often I'd make the video on my phone and I just upload it.
The quality of the sound would be rubbish. Quite often the quality of the video would be rubbish due to lack of light. Sometimes a picture would be quite good if it was a bright enough day, but then the audio would be echoey and, you know what I mean? And then what I would do is I would extract the audio from the video and put that onto the podcast.
So the podcast would be echoey. Now I don't do that anymore. And if nothing else, the, the podcasts are not echoey.
I don't think they shouldn't be. Bee, bee, bee. I couldn't help it.
Right. I've got some messages that I've received and I thought I'd read them out because they're really nice, really nice messages. What's this message? This is on my website.
Hi, Jason. Are you really as smelly as you say? No, no, that's not the one. Okay, good.
Right. This is one. Yeah.
Yeah. Dear Jason and Andre. You sound like Marge Simpson's sister.
That's not the one. Okay. This is from Mara.
Mary, Mary. Hi, Jason and Andre. I'm so glad that Rachel messaged to say that she's worked.
No, that's not the one. Blimey. Here we go.
Okay, this is from Katie. I have been going to bed with Jason for over seven weeks. This sounds a little wrong.
So this was a five star review left on my website. So it's not a personal message. So I'm reading out.
But seriously, it just works for me. I'm always the first to complain if I receive poor customer service. However, I also think it's important to mention when someone is outstanding in what they do.
Unfortunately, Jason's rubbish. No, he says Jason, you deserve all the success. You're brilliant, incredibly dedicated, and clearly passionate.
Don't ever give up. Thank you. So thank you, Katie.
I hope you're listening to this. Thank you very much. I really, really do appreciate your lovely review.
And your kind words. Thank you. Also got messages from Georgie.
Hi, Jason. Okay. Okay.
I'm not going to read all of it out. Some of it's personal. Okay.
So hi, Jason. I know I sent you messages in the past. I met everyone.
Just gone through a rather horrible, stressful time. And each night I've religiously listened to your podcast. And even though I sometimes can't stay asleep, you always helped me to stop thinking about, you know, the issues that I've got, and all the grief, etc.
I love hearing about Andre and his little adventures around the flat. It really makes you smile to hear about such an adorable little creature having such fun with the most random of objects. Thanks again.
Well, thank you, Georgie. It's really kind of you. And I hope that you your situation improves.
And this is from Belinda says another message, just about to snuggle up and listen to your voice. You don't know how much you've helped me in the past five months. I've just come okay.
Out of a situation again, I'm not going to read everything because it's personal, just come out of a situation. And I was very traumatized. So as you can imagine, sleep was very hard.
So I searched the podcast and found you. And by listening to you, I've learned to smile, chuckle and sleep. Without the sleep I would never have healed.
Thank you so much, Jason. That's really Thank you, Belinda. That's very kind of you.
And I do have some other messages. Where are they? I think they are on Facebook itself. I think they're being posted.
But I don't always. Unfortunately, for some reason, I can't read them on my phone. Don't know why that is.
I really don't know why. Okay, here we go. Where is it? Oh, this is from Kerry.
Hey, Jason, back listening to you had a break for a bit. Nothing to do with you. But home circumstances.
Hope you and Andrea well. Thank you, Kerry. Yeah, things are things are okay.
So just trying to sort some stuff out so that I can. Um, I feel what it is, is a very focused person. And I know it's a cliche of like, you know, men, you only focus on one thing at a time.
But you know, it's not that so much. It's although that is kind of true for me. But it's not that I can only is I don't want to focus on more than one thing.
I want to say one thing. It's not just one thing is, you know, making the podcast is lots of different parts to it. You know, the promotion is the editing is the recording, there's the website part of it, there's the uploading is the downloading is the images and blah, blah, you know, there's quite a few little bits to it.
It's not, I guess it's as simple as you want to make it or as complicated as you want to make it. And although I wouldn't class it as complicated, but you know, there's, there's quite a few parts to it. Because I'm trying to do a better job.
I'm trying to put more energy, more positive energy into it into Yeah. But then it's other parts, other things that are going on that just sometimes get in the way of what I'm doing my focus. But that's just normal.
It's just natural, isn't it with everyone? There's things and people and trying to do the right thing. But at the same time, knowing that really what I need to do is just to be left alone and to focus on this. But at the same time, I'm still a human being.
And yeah, what does that mean? That's very cryptic. That's really strange. What's he on about? He don't have to talk some poo sometimes.
Fair enough. I suppose I got this message, right? Okay. Templu may Mayor of salt.
Okay. This is a friend request. It's basically just a it's not a real page.
And the only was only one. Well, to be fair, it might be more if I actually responded and confirmed the request, which I will not. This is joining established WhatsApp group.
There are plenty of hot women in this group who need it. So if you want a vulgar woman next to you, join a group because everything is free without money. Free without money.
Okay, click here. Which I'm not going to click on it because it'll take me to some place where it's free without money. I'm gonna pay anything.
But make sure you give us give us your credit card. Yeah, before you enter. Which means once you've got the got your credit card, they can do anything they want and take any amount they want off of you.
And what are you going to do? Go to your bank say yeah. You're not people they've got you. They've got you because it's a purview service.
And they know that most people will not go and try and get the money back just through embarrassment. So say see all friends. How many friends have they got? None.
None to show. If I could see the friends, it just be men, middle aged men, who is what the person is probably not even a real person. It's just a random picture of a woman on a 23rd birthday because it's a big 23 balloons and stuff in a sitting on a bed in a skimpy costume.
And it's weird because I just find it annoying. I just like I don't want that kind of rubbish sent to me. Just redoing.
And I think I'm not being targeted. Am I really the target audience? Am I really? Is everything on that sad? I'm gonna want to give them money to spend time with me on camera. And I realize I am.
I really am that sad. So yeah, I spent 300 pounds the other day was brilliant. No, I didn't.
I mean, maybe 20 years ago, I might have been interested. But then 20 years ago, I wouldn't have been their target audience. This is weird.
Just I don't know. Is this something about me that screams desperation? This is like, I don't know. But then, you know, they just they probably just send millions of friend requests out through bots or whatever they use, whatever software things they have targeting men, aged probably 35 onwards, based all around the world.
So they probably have millions and millions. And out of those millions, they're going to get probably 10,000. So if they send a million out, they might get five or 10,000 people that accept to come along to their group.
Out of that, let's say 5000 people, it probably could have a 500 will join, you know, will give their credit card. Now that 550 may end up being able to be duped out of money. But those 50 people, imagine if they can get 1000 pounds out of each of those people.
That's a good day's work in it for them. 50 grand. Wow.
That's what I should be passionate about ripping people off. Imagine the money you could make if you really had the passion to to go down that road and to be devious and disgusting. It's so judgmental.
What about disgusting people, thieves, robbers and... Yeah, it's so judgmental about them. Yeah, that's a good thing. We're supposed to be judgmental about scum.
That's why they're called scum. Because we're judgmental about them. But they're clever.
Look all the things they do. They're clever. Well, you know, I've heard someone said that to me.
And, you know, they're clever. Look how they they robbed the bank and they did it, you know, through the internet. And, you know, they're based in another country.
They can't be caught. They've got this big network. That's clever.
That's really clever. And okay, I can understand that argument. But to me, you know, if we if you're going to use intelligence with clever, someone that's intelligent, someone that's intelligent doesn't, you know, doesn't do that kind of stuff.
If you're intelligent, you don't rip off people's life savings or steal money from pensioners. You know, that's not an intelligent person that does that. That's just scummy.
And intelligence don't come into it. Because anybody can learn how to do that stuff. Anybody can learn to be a hacker.
Anybody can learn how to do horrible things. It's easy to learn stuff. I say easy, it might take years to learn it, but everything's available to learn.
You know, you can, you can learn, you've got a knife, you can learn to be do amazing things as a chef with a knife. You can carve, you know, a bit of wood into something amazing. You know, the most amazing artistic design.
Or you can do horrible things with a knife, you could learn how to be, you could join the SAS or join the forces and learn how to, you know, hand to hand combat and stuff. There's lots of ways of doing things in my mind. And being able to do something doesn't not necessarily a sign of intelligence.
Being able to learn something, we can all learn, not necessarily at the same speed. I'm not particularly fast learner. I'm a more a thorough learner.
I, I breathe, I breathe and live what I learn. So it's part of my life part of my world. So I integrate anything new that I learn, I integrate that into what I've already got.
And like the Borg from Star Trek. It's a little bit like that. But a lot less sophisticated, and less cubey, less cubey.
As a trekker inside trekker thing. So let's just bang the microphone. And never mind.
Oh dear, oh dear. So yeah, I just, is that a sign of intelligence doing horrible things? No, it's not. It's not.
It's not. It's a sign of dumbness. It is, I think it's like learning hypnosis, right? And then using it to, I don't know, manipulate people, or trying to use it to manipulate people out of money, you know, using lots of sales language and lots of hip, you know, hypnosis kind of stuff.
I won't go into what you could use, but that's not a good use for that. However, you know, I find it really funny, actually. So there's some people say, Oh, hypnosis.
Okay, I'm not many people met many people just go hypnosis. It's usually words connected. But I'll hypnosis don't work on me.
I don't believe in hypnosis. Well, it's interesting that the first group of people that really embraced hypnosis, outside of, you know, healing and stuff like that, thousands of years ago. And hypnosis had lots of different names.
But it's always quite often being connected with healing. And, you know, meditation has a connection with hypnosis. Although I know meditators that would be really upset to hear that.
And I've told people, I've spoken to the meditators, and they really like, it's not hypnosis. I never said it was hypnosis. But there's a connection between it, you know, there's that, that level of awareness, that level of focus, the economy going in the same kind of to the same place, really.
But they don't like that don't like the, the idea of that. Sometimes, some of them, one particular person. But it was weird, because he knew a lot more about meditation than I did.
But I did know about meditation, because I was meditating. He knew nothing about hypnosis. I did, because I'd been studying it for a long time, and trained in it.
So I knew, I knew a bit about meditation. He knew nothing about hypnosis. So I felt that I was, you know, almost like a higher, not higher, but argumentative wise, more informative position than he was.
Because if you say, this thing that I know a lot about, it's nothing like that thing that I know nothing about. It's kind of a silly argument, really. It's not a silly argument, if you know about the other thing, then you say, well, it's still like, yeah, it's nothing like it.
And in some ways, it isn't. But you know, I had to, I had to argue anyway. So there was a point to why I mentioned this, what is the point? There's always a point, but I forget what the point is.
So almost, I think, sometimes, it may come across, like I'm just blabbering on about nothing. When the fact is, when I start a sentence, it's quite often a reason for me to be talking, or at least to be going down that dead end street. And then I forget that.
Oh, what was it I was aiming for? And what was it? Something to do with hypnosis? Ah, yeah. See, I probably talked about this in the past. But let's have a drink.
When you've made 1000 recordings, or whatever it is, 600 and quite a few, I've forgotten what I've talked about. I've talked about lots of things. I probably, probably repeated myself quite a few times.
And yeah, I've talked about lots of things. I probably repeated myself quite a few times. And I'm not sure if I talked about this, but this is a factual thing.
Let me give you a bit of information. The group of people that embraced hypnosis with the most excitement and the most vigor, I'm not even sure what that means, but it sounds right, and really embraced it and put it to use and tested it and tested it and still use those techniques is advertising. And we're talking right from the early times of television.
Probably before that on radio, advertising, hypnosis, they employed hypnotists to help them to sell things to the public. See, so there's a lot of people, hypnosis, well, one of the things that you might not be, I think what it is, is with adverts. In the old days, it may be still now, I don't know, but there'd be a family and there'd be maybe, let's say two kids, three kids, parents, maybe even grandparents, friends, you know, just all sitting around watching telly.
And not every one of those is going to be taking notice of the adverts. So the adverts come on. For me, that was a time to chat, or go to the toilet, or you know, just the adverts didn't interest me.
And so there's people talking, you're talking, when the adverts are playing in the background, that's when you're not taking notice of them. That's when they're going to have the most effect. That's when they go into your into your mind and there's no, there's no blocking it.
It's you know, because you're not thinking, because if you're watching something and thinking that's rubbish, it won't stick, because you're emotionally disconnected from it. You're not interested in it. You're like, no, your purpose is, like you're saying no to it.
Now, if they make you laugh, you know, so like a lot of, a lot of the adverts are as funny as the TV programs. They're not, but maybe the first time you see them, and that's the problem with adverts. So for me, is it's the first time, sometimes the adverts are really good.
Like there's a particular advert now, um, let me tell you about it, because I forget the name of it. Um, what is it? It's funeral insurance. Now, not something, not something that you would think about as being funny, really.
But this is, I forget what it's called. I wish I could find it. So if I just put in fuel insurance, uh, there's this, it's a funny name as well.
Wow, I can't believe how many there are. There's so many. So many.
Wow. So these are ones that are advertised. This one is advertised on telly.
There's lots of ones advertised on telly. And you know, the weird thing about it is this, in the afternoons in the UK, we have quite a few channels that are a bit rubbish, a bit just, uh, they'll play very cheap programs, maybe from America, old stuff that maybe was in America. It was on in America, maybe 10 years ago.
So it's very outdated. Some of the, I don't know, lobster, lobster crawling things or, you know, fishermen and what is it? The gold pawnbroker thing. There's a few couple of pawnbroker TV shows that are well out of date.
One is actually the show finished years ago or something, but it's still on here. And then other, some of the other channels, they have comedy shows, but really old, old comedy shows from maybe the seventies or eighties. So I'm sitting there, I quite like the comedy shows.
So some of them even from the sixties. So I'll be watching a comedy show. And then I'll have an advert and I'll have more adverts as longer than the actual previous part of the show.
The adverts last about 10 minutes. And I guess that's the only way they can cover the cost of running the channel probably. And they'll be showing donkey sanctuaries and um, helping children in need, like just starving and showing like funerals things.
And it's, it's just really grim in between comedy. That's the reason I don't, I've never liked comic relief. I know it might sound weird.
I don't dislike comic relief. It's an amazing thing. I can't go between laughing and then seeing someone suffering like a film of someone suffering.
I can't do it. I can't do it. Unable to do it.
Well, I just refuse to do it because it's like, it feels horrible. It's very, it's incompatible with each other. You know, I love comedy.
I love watching comedy. I love watching people suffer, but not at the same time. No, I love comedy, but I can't, and I like comedy that has dark humour and maybe even goes to depths that, you know, you wouldn't expect.
I like that, but I don't like comedy and then suddenly seeing some horrific film footage of something that's just like, no, I can't do that. And I'm, it surprises me that anybody can, or that anybody was willing to put themselves through that. Now for me personally, I prefer just to be a comedy show without any of the other stuff.
Say what they're raising money for, but I guess maybe they wouldn't raise as much money. I don't know. I don't know how other people's minds work.
I really don't. I don't know what's, what goes on. And it's almost like they don't want it to be a comedy show.
So they get all the top comedians they can get, make it as funny as they can make it. Yet the, the buzz is gone as soon as the comedy ends because they show something else, which is really grim. Yeah, I just, just my, my experience of it doesn't, doesn't mean that that's how it is for everyone because we all perceive things differently, don't we? But to me, it's just, it'd be like a comedy club.
You got, maybe you got four comedians or three comedians and a compere. So you have one comedian and then you bring someone on, a child, wheel a child on, you know, you take a child onto the stage and, and tell, you know, and tell their story and, you know, if they're in hospital and stuff, and then you bring the next comedian on. I mean, it wouldn't work.
Really, Andre? Really? Right now? Why can't, like, okay, I've got this whole area, which got cat litter on the floor, okay? Both, both corners of the room, two, and there's four corners of the room, but two corners of the room. He wants a cuddle. He's just laid down in front of me.
If he wants a cuddle, or you want some food, I've chosen to give you a cuddle and no food. How about that? How are those peaches? Do you like that? You don't, do you? Do you want food? You know what he did earlier? He, he came and got me, and I knew he wanted some food. Well, he sort of laid down in front of the thing, and I thought, okay, I'll get him some food.
I'll pick him up, get him some food, and I'll put him down. So I put the food in his bowl, put the bowl down on the floor. He lays down in front of his water.
See, what he wanted was me to change the water. I change the water, and he's happy. He's drinking the water.
He really knows how to manipulate me, don't you? Oh, he's got a new thing as well. He, he gets up, and he just lays down in the hallway and looks at me. Well, lays down.
So I think, okay, I'll take you out then. Oh, that's a little bit of a stir in there. You have to find your girlfriend.
Where is your girlfriend these days? I think I might have buried his girlfriend underneath all the clothes. Right, do you want to listen to me find his girlfriend? Okay, here we go. Come on then, let's find your girlfriend.
I might have buried her. Sorry, I didn't mean to. Blimey, that was noisy.
Where is your slipper? It's got to be somewhere. Unless you've hidden her. Have you hidden her? Have you? I reckon she's over here.
There she is. Look, I found his slipper. Now, are you ready to hear this? He's gonna go.
You're not bothered, are you? No? Oh, yeah, he does now. Oh, my fingers stink. Oh, smelly fingers.
And now all the stuff that was inside his cubby hole thing, den, is now on the floor. And he's got no interest in the slipper. I think it's very naive of me to think that he didn't know where the slipper was.
He knows where the slipper is at all times. Yeah, now all his stuff's all over the floor. I was showing off a bit there, wasn't I, I think? Oh, a little sneeze.
He loves his water. I said that to him the other day. You love your water.
He said, no, I don't. I just need it to survive. Idiot.
That's really rude. Honestly, he is. Oh, oh, yeah.
He's now with his slipper. He's now getting ready. What he does is he bites it.
And he shakes it, shakes it around a little bit while it's in his mouth. And now he's position. I can't believe I'm giving you this details.
He's busy. He's position himself with some bubble wrap. He's on his side with the slipper in his mouth.
And he's pulled the bubble. He pulls a bubble wrap with his hands and his legs, his hands and his feet, pulls it right into his body. That slipper is really rank.
The weird thing is, there's two of them. They are twins. I mean, he's a lucky boy.
Now he's got, he's got two, but I think he only really spends time with one. I said to him, why, why one, not the other? He says, one's tighter. No, he didn't.
He said, one's, one's smelly. I like the smelly one. He's the one that's made it smelly.
He said, the other one talks too much. It's like, what? He's so rude about his, his girlfriends. Oh dear.
Bless him. I'm quite enjoying doing the podcasts for the stress and pain relief. I've done 15 now.
It's, it's a, it's a new podcast. It's not something that I've spent. I mean, admittedly, I started it.
When did I start it? Does it say? Stress and pain relief. The very first recording was on the 31st of October, 2020. So yeah, it says five months, five and a half months, but then I didn't do anything.
I did, I did some in November and I didn't do anything till February, February. And then I didn't do anything till April. I did say March, April.
Yeah. So I had a couple of months off and then I've been doing them nearly every day for the last few days, apart from yesterday. And the most, I mean, here's the names of some of them.
So number 10 was Expecting Relief. Number 11 was Jigsaw Pieces. 12 was Let Go of Everything.
Number 13 was Ask Your Brain. Number 14, Hand Relief. And number 15, Sinking Calmness of Mind and Body.
So I've got names for most of them, well for all of them, in fact, apart from the very first one. And so I think some of those recordings could be quite good. It's hard for me to judge, you know, because, well, it's just, it's a bit weird, isn't it? How do you judge for yourself how your stuff is? Like I could write a book and I wouldn't really know if it was any good.
I'd know if people bought the book, you know, in large numbers that it must be fairly good if people read it. So the weird thing about it on this podcast, I've had hardly any, I've only had 113 total downloads. So, you know, let's say the one I did on the 14th.
What day? 13. Yeah, I've had four downloads for number 13. Okay.
Now, if I go to where is it? If I go to a different podcast. Number 13. Where are you? Yeah, bugger.
13. Number 13. Oh, I can just check on.
No, I can't. 13, 13, 13, 13, 13, 13. Blimey.
There's so many. It's hard to keep track of how many recordings I have. I didn't expect to have this many.
Really. And I guess I didn't expect to still be doing it. At this age, or not this age, necessarily, but just I didn't look this far into the future.
I suppose I thought I'd have progressed to something more by now. Maybe. I don't know.
You know, in the same way I progressed from seeing people in their homes for the free pain relief service, to having a therapy room that I was using on Saturday mornings, because I was working full time as well, to doing the group sessions. And I suppose in a sense, the progression from the group sessions was to move on to studying to become a counselor. And you know, there's a degree of moving forward, not always in the right direction, in some ways, but this seems to have, I guess, the move forward was this with this is to, I guess, reach a larger audience, but also to become better to be to produce a better quality of not just.
Okay, so I had four downloads on the actual podcast, but on my Relaxation for Stress and Anxiety podcast, for that one episode that I did two days ago, I've had 435 downloads just on that podcast. So it just gives you an idea, the difference that happens when, you know, on a different places that I put stuff. I mean, on here, it's hypnosis for sleeping deeply.
I wonder where it is there. 13, 13, come on. Blimey, give me eye strain trying to going down.
Not going, you know, going down the screen. I mean, 13, 13. I had such a deep voice earlier.
Whenever I get a deep voice, I always try and sing the song, you know, I was born under a wandering star. And I was about the right level of deepness. Okay.
Okay, this one, 273. 13, 13. So that one was more, but that's a more popular podcast by a little bit.
So hypnosis for sleeping deeply 644,000. And that's the second top one. And relaxation hypnosis for stress is 710,000 downloads.
So I'm averaging, you know, two to 3000 plus a day on that one. I had 549 already today. And it's, it's 557 in the morning.
Yesterday, 2413. Day before, 3154. Day before that, 3871.
3719. 3376. 4003 at the beginning of the week.
So yeah, it'd be more if I had the, if I had done the let me bore you to sleep ones. Is there, for some reason, there's some of my most popular ones. In the last, I don't know, how long is it 30 days.
The most popular recordings on the relaxation for stress is the 307 deep sleep whisper with music. That's 659 downloads. 200 number 238 relaxation hypnosis for stress with music 653.
And the number 615. Let me bore you to sleep. My podcast recording and editing editing process.
19th of March 2021 with music 647. So yeah, and there's another 614 or 637. 614 now 616 634.
So that's pretty good. They're quite, I only just started putting them on there. Because I thought, well, just see if people like them.
Because I, but my part of the reason I did these, let me bore you to sleep. It wasn't just to bore you to sleep. It was also a little bit of entertainment maybe.
But to calm for the calmness, the, the peacefulness, the relaxation. To take an hour out of the day, even to just let go of everything, you know. And for it to be a safe space to just relax.
And I hope I've accomplished some of those things. So the relaxation hypnosis for stress and stuff. What's it for? In the last month, or 30 days, 98,331.
Just for that one podcast. Pretty amazing, I think. For me, this is the personal, my personal opinion.
When you connect, I said 98,000. Yeah. To let me bore you to sleep one 9,995 for 30 days.
So it gives you an idea, the difference. So sometimes I get like nearly 400 for the day, sometimes 310. The last couple of days, because I didn't release anything, I was getting 250, 268.
But on the days that I release stuff, just about between 350 and 400 a day downloads, maybe a bit more than 400. But 10,000 a month is, see, I'm okay, because I know that I probably quadruple that through the other podcasts, or at least travel it through the other podcasts. So, you know, if I'm getting three, let's say 400 a day there, or let's say monthly, 10 grand, 10,000.
So I'm getting at least 30, maybe 35, 40,000 downloads of my let me bore you to sleep a month, which is, you know, about half, half a million a year. So I know that I'm doing alright with this. It's just it's spread out.
And I got an itchy bum. Didn't need to tell you that, did I? Oh, in fact, it's not the bum. It's not.
It's just another bit. You know, the bit that goes down your back, and just that little bit that it's almost like the, the ski slopes, path, you know, the safe space, the bait, like the place that you can scratch and not feel too worried, you know. I know what it's called is, I guess it's probably where your tail would have been like just at the bottom of your tailbone.
That's it. Can we move on? Can we just forget I said anything? Thank you very much. Thank you.
I know that there's a lot of you. Well, probably quite a few people would have dozed off by now, but I do, I would like to say how thankful I am for, you know, the comments I get the messages I receive, the positivity that I receive, and the kindness and the support basically. And I guess the biggest support, you know, is let's say the proof is in the pudding is listeners, people listening.
Now, if people stopped listening, I'd stop making the recordings. That is as simple as that. And the only reason I continue to do this is because well, I get messages from people asking me to continue.
So I do. And I will do for as long as, as long as there is needed, I guess. I mean, I just can't believe that I've done so many though.
That's the thing that I find quite strange is for these 600 and this is number 640. And it's amazing is 640. I'm gonna have probably 900 by Christmas.
Is that right? Six? I don't know how many days there are to Christmas. I don't think we need to count do we? But it's going to be January, February, March. So let's say 100 days is gone.
That's gonna be more but it's 100 days roughly. So it's 260 250. Let's say let's say 240.
So it'd be 880. So the chance I could have hit the 900 just about starting the new year, I'll be starting in, you know, pretty much the 900 mark. Now I don't know how many.
I don't know how many the of the things you know, on each podcast I can hold. And I've got one podcast that has where is it? 1237 episodes. So I guess I know I can hold over 1000.
I got another one with 1388. And these are the more the compilation ones 1365. Yeah, so maybe it's infinite.
But when you go so for example, the Jason Newland free hypnosis service podcast 1237 episodes. But if you go on there, you're only going to get the latest 250. The same as with the hypnosis for sleeping deeply and all that stuff.
So I just reached 100,000 on the Jason Newland free hypnosis service podcast 100,170. Hey, I wonder what the one is for the deep sleep whisper. Statistics 353,236.
That's all right. And the only other one is sleep insomnia, hypnosis. 577,000.
So I get average about one and a half thousand a day for that. So 577,000. And I've got this other podcast, which is I'm always looking out to see if any of them grow any of the smaller ones that I don't put, you know, huge amount of effort into.
Sometimes I even forget to upload stuff to them. Okay. 10,231.
This is a chronic pain hypnosis podcast. Oh, it has grown. Wow.
Sometimes I get 152 downloads a day, 100 plus when before I was getting like 20 or 30. So that is growing. That's good.
Because I'm doing the pain relief recordings, they're getting, you know, downloads. However, I keep forgetting to put them on there. So I've missed two out.
There's still two to upload. So I've only done up to number 13. And isn't there 15, isn't there? Altogether the stress and pain relief.
Yeah, 15. So I need to upload those. Blimey.
It's really weird. Just keeping track of everything. It's hard work, man.
Blimey, hard work. It really is. So yeah, I'm gonna, gonna sort of keep going on that and keep working on it.
Keep doing what's needed to be doing. The doings of the doing. Yes.
The doing, doing, doing. I don't know why I keep saying doing, doing, doing, doing, doing, doing, doing. I'll stop.
But yeah, I do appreciate the support and that you give me. And I will continue to make podcasts. I will.
And if you can hear him in the background chomping away. So basically, he was asking me for some food. But now he's given up and decided to have some dry food.
But he does need to eat the dry food because it's good for him. It's the one that's for ferrets. So it's got vitamins, it's got the, I don't know, protein, the fiber.
And it's good for his teeth because it helps clean his teeth because of the hardness of the crunchiness. The hardness of the crunchiness. That makes sense in my brain as I said it.
It's the hardness of the crunchiness. It's good for his teeth, don't you know? Oh, you mean the hardness of the crunchiness? Yeah, that's what I said. You wally.
But yeah, this is pretty much going to be the end of the recording. The end is nigh. 73 minutes in.
We can say goodbye. Please don't cry. It's my poem for the day.
So as always, remember to be kind to yourself. Because you deserve to be happy. Lots of love.
Bye.
