Hello and welcome to jasonnewland.com. My name is Jason Newland. Welcome to Let Me Bore You To Sleep. Please only listen whence you can safely close your eyes.

So hey, how are you doing? Are you alright? So today is the 28th of March, Shunday. And in the background, I don't know if you can hear it. If not, what I'm going to do is I'm going to move the microphone around so you can hear him.

Here we go. Not that exciting, hey, but I just thought you can't hear him as much as you could with the other microphones. To be fair, the last microphone I was using, although it was a good one, it's a Rode microphone, it seemed to pick up background sound more than me.

More than me, which some may be pleased with, some perhaps would even prefer. But that wasn't really the plan. So he's talking about his blimmin microphone again.

No, I'm not. I'm not at all. I'm loving the bit of space there is in the room now, now tidied up.

Andre's just running around and I think he likes it actually. He likes, I don't know, I think when I move things around, it's almost like a new playground for him to explore and play around. And he's doing that.

He's looking for stuff. I think I chucked away some of his stuff that he'd like to use when he was with his girlfriend. Oh, my.

Oh, wow. I'm just thinking it's almost like there was little toys. Oh, no.

Keep him in his toy drawer. Oh, yeah, I washed my hands after I touched them anyway and chucked them away. But he's still got loads and loads of stuff, loads of stuff.

So, you know, standard Sunday, I've spent quite a lot of the day sort of snoozing. But I have worked on some recordings and uploaded quite a bit of stuff and working on bits and bobs. So that's good, but nothing huge, huge.

It's been another good day. But about 10,000 downloads, which is nice. And I'm hoping that the increase in downloads and my productivity and stuff will help, you know, maybe he's got to increase the audience or me.

I don't know. Who knows? But it's going quite well. I'm quite pleased with it.

I got myself a an Argos card. We basically it's Argos is this big store. It's like a catalog store.

And you go in there used to be catalogs on the like, loads of tables with these catalogs. And you'd look through the catalog, you'd write down the number in a little pen with little pen on a little piece of paper, like being in a betting shop. And they're the only two places in the whole world that you would get these little pens, the betting shop and Argos.

And the slips of paper about the same size as well. And you just put the number of the item. Like 4739642A or whatever, and then you take it to the counter.

And they would just, you know, look through the catalog and check it's correct. Then it's obviously progressed into the computer age. They just scan it and look it up and whatever.

Now it's all called a computer screen. So you do it by the screen. So there's no catalogs anymore to look through.

Anyway, I'm just giving you an idea. Those that don't know what it is, I'm just letting you know what it is. It's been bought by or now is owned by Sainsbury's, the supermarket chain.

And I the other day, I applied for a an Argos card, which is basically like a credit card thing. It's not an actual credit card, but it allows you to buy stuff and pay it over six months or over a year or you know that kind of stuff. And I was accepted on that last week and they're sending it to me this week or this in the next day or so a few days.

So what I'm planning to do is to buy my camera from there on credit, and then just pay it over so maybe six months. So that'll be good. So I'll have my camera hopefully by the end of the week.

And I've also applied for a debit card, which I was approved as well for. And so when I get that through, I might then buy the the mixing road podcaster, podcaster, podcast thing. If I'm a podcasting, podcaster, podcaster, to get that and then I'll have almost have a complete set of stuff that I need.

I'll still need the the handle for the camera. It works without the handle but it's you can control it and stuff. And it's like a little tripod.

Now I've got tripods for cameras anyway, so I'm okay. Short term. In fact, I've got one sitting just there on my table.

I've got quite a few different tripods, microphones, cameras, you name it. I don't, obviously not everything, not a satellite dish, or a piglet. You know, I don't have, why would you need a tripod for a piglet? But you know what I mean.

Or maybe you don't. So maybe by the end of this week, I will have most of the equipment to be doing stuff that, you know, getting everything. I don't want to use the word perfect, but getting everything how I want it to be so I can start being more productive.

Also, I'm probably going to get that lapel microphone system for the, for the, the, what's it, for the camera. Because then I'll be recording separately, completely separately. I'll have the podcast completely being recorded with the box, with the recording studio thing.

Podcaster. And the video will be, you know, microphone connected. And that will be recording completely separate as well.

Which is more ideal, which means the quality of the sound should be really, really good on the video. And maybe not as good as the podcast. But that's okay.

For me, personally, I kind of think that the podcast should sound better than a video. Maybe I'm a bit strange that way. But I think if with a video, if you've got the, you've got the visual element, the sound, although important is less important than if all you've got is the sound.

Does that make sense? I think so. Yeah, to me, I think it does. But at the same time, I still want the best sound I can get for the videos.

Now, this opens issues. It opens issues, my dear. One being filming myself.

I don't want to, really. You know, I kind of don't want to film myself. But I think I'll be all right once I start doing it again.

And it's been a while since I made any videos of me. Well, a while, it's been a few weeks, but a while since I was doing it constantly. So, well, years, years and years since I was regularly making daily videos.

So it takes a little bit of getting used to. And one of the problems is what to wear. Because when I'm making the podcast, I can sit here with me elephant thong on, you know what I mean? That just, no one knows.

Andre complains a little bit sometimes. It embarrasses him. Sometimes he takes pictures and sticks them on Instagram.

But that's his issues, you know, it's up to him what he does. But I have to sort of dress, not dress up, but at least attempt to make myself look physically decent, I guess. And I'm not sure how to do that.

I mean, I used to, when I used to make videos before, I would try and wear a different top whenever I made a new video. And what I mean by that, you know, I'm not, you know, I didn't have a different top every single day of the year. You know, I've got 306, I've got the biggest wardrobe in the world.

Now, what I mean is, if I was making more than one video in a day, or if I was making a course of videos, which I did in the past, and sometimes I would, I used to go to the Buddhist Centre, this therapy room behind the Buddhist Centre, back in 2011. And I used to go there at night, sometimes like Saturday night, early hours in the morning. So Sunday morning, and I'd go there with my video camera.

And I'd also have about six or seven shirts and tops, jumpers and stuff to wear. So I just, every time, so if I had a seven day course, I'd record them back to back. I'd change my top.

So it looked like, you know, it's day three. So I'm not wearing the same thing as I was for day one and day two. So it's an illusion, I guess.

But I didn't want people to think that I was just wearing the same thing every single day. But then I'm thinking, you know, let's say if I do do this, well, I'm gonna do it. But you know, if I do it the way I've been thinking about, I need a drink.

I had a cup of coffee about a half hour ago. It's really left my mouth dry. What was I saying? Yeah, so if on a day to day basis, I do the let me boy to sleep, I do a deep sleep whisper.

I'll do a relaxation hypnosis for stress. So I just do three videos, just just three a day. First of all, that's a lot.

That's a lot of videos to be recording. And I'll have to edit them. And you know, so it's quite a lot of time in the editing, in the editing room.

But that's three different tops I need to wear. Because you won't be able to see pretty much anything below my belly button. So I will be hiding my tummy.

Oh, yes. Yeah, I've got some videos from the past. That sounded weird.

And I said, you know, I've got some videos. I've got videos where the camera is a little bit away from me. But the microphones are very close.

So I had to set up which is quite good. Two microphones, very good, very good sound picture was pretty good as well. But the distance so you can see me sitting in a chair, you can actually see my feet.

That's not really the point of the story. The fact Wow, you can see his feet. Wait a minute, let's press pause and tell everyone I can't believe this.

No, no, it's not exciting. You can see everything sounds weird as well. You can see you can see my belly and I just didn't.

It almost felt like sometimes that there was someone hiding under my jumper, blowing up a big balloon. As you know, as I was making the recording, I did seem to get bigger and bigger as the time went by. Anyway, I won't be doing that I will be recording myself.

I'm not going to have the camera in my face. I have a distance. And because if I get the lapel microphone, then I can be you know, maybe four foot away from them from the camera.

Which means I don't know, I'll just focus it so it picks up my I think anything just just below my nipples is kind of girl midsection upwards is is okay. But not too high above my head. It just looks weird to look.

If you see a camera, like a video of someone and three quarters of the screen is above their head. It looks like they're really tiny. And I'm not really tiny.

I'm, I'm mildly tiny. You know, I don't think four foot six is that small personally, but everyone's got their own opinion about height. So yeah, I'm gonna, that's what I'm planning to do.

And the weird thing about it is I don't really feel self self conscious. When I make the podcasts are really I don't not at all. I mean, I think that's kind of clear in some of the things that I may have said in the past.

But on video, on YouTube, I don't know. And I think I might have a tendency to play up to the camera a little bit. Or be a little bit self conscious by the camera.

Because the reality is I don't like the way I look. And it's not something that could be only surgery could really or a time machine could really make any difference or a time machine as in getting two different parents having two different, a different man and a different woman, getting together and having me then I might have come out looking all right. I don't know.

It's hard to know in it. And I've got no idea what my mom looked like. I imagine she looked human.

I don't know. I can't remember. So, yeah, that's kind of where I'm going with that.

The thing is, I know, I know that it's going to take you know, at least a year if not two years before the YouTube video starts to kind of gain any kind of recognition. That's if it does, you know, I was fairly I was doing all right in the past. So you seem to go okay.

And I've got quite a loyal audience on YouTube. They sort of stick around and it's quite nice. Some of them have been following me for, you know, over a decade.

So, you know, I'll be looking to get new subscribers and to maybe build or rebuild my my presence on YouTube, because it wasn't that I was a like a major player on YouTube, you know, in the hypnosis world, but I was definitely known. I was, I was one of the originals, you know, I started pretty much as soon as YouTube started. And it was 2007.

I had my first YouTube channel. And I was doing all right. I was doing all right, actually.

And nowhere near what the most popular hypnotists on YouTube do, or even did then I didn't couldn't I couldn't match them. But I was I was moving up. I think part of the reason is because was a couple of them did have, I mean, there wasn't that many male YouTubers that did hypnosis, there's a couple.

But they're good looking, good looking young men. I think that helps. It's a visual thing, isn't it? It's got to help.

And but there was there was quite a few female like ASMR, hypnosis videos. And they were popular as were my ASMR ones that I started doing. But again, that's a long time ago, but I didn't know what it was.

And someone said to me, Oi, Jason, we don't do I think it was Boston chicky. And there's a couple of people also, but I just might I don't know. But they said it.

ASMR is very popular. And I'd already done a sleep recording. But the sleep, a whisper sleep recording.

But the whispering was at the end. So I didn't call it a whisper recording. It was just a normal hypnosis recording where I was talking.

And I got quieter. And I started and I whispered the last like maybe five minutes. And that ended up being one of my most what my most popular video I ever did.

And it's still on there now, actually. It's still there now. So I think it's a it's a weird one, really, because I'm thinking, you know, I've I've worked really hard.

I've put a lot of energy into my podcasts. And well, over, you know, 15 years, but especially over the last three years, I've very much put a lot of effort since 2018. Into the current podcasts I'm doing.

And the audience has grown and I'm really grateful for that. And I do have, I think I've got the best, the best listeners in the world. I do.

I've got the best audience. You are the best. And very supportive and loyal.

I don't know if it's a proper word. I know loyal is a proper word. It's in a dictionary, but I don't know if it's a correct word for this scenario.

And I like the fact that I've got more because I've got a few podcasts and I've got different audiences that like different things. And I like that. I quite like it pleases me for some reason, pleases.

You know, this is going to continue to grow if I continue to make recordings. So I don't know what happened if I just stopped. Stop producing anything.

Would the audience just dwindle away even though there's thousands of recordings to listen to? Or with the Let Me Boy To Sleep over 600. And the Deep Sleep Whisper is over 300. And Woods is over 200 for the relaxation for stress.

Would the audience, would people stop listening if I didn't make anything new, even though there's lots to choose from? I don't know. I honestly don't know. I kind of don't want to find out.

Why would I? Why would I? You know, I've got no intention of just stopping anyway, not through choice. And I can't see a reason why I would have to. So I just keep going, keep going forever and ever.

Until I'm 99. Or until I'm 100. I might, I don't know, I might do a live broadcast when I'm 100.

Can you imagine that? Can you imagine still doing this? Imagine if I'm still in this room. At 100. Still talking about, you know, one day I'm going to go on a cruise.

I'm going to go traveling. I'm going to go out. I am.

I'm going to go out for a walk one day. 50 years later. After being saying that now, I want to go on a cruise one day.

I do. I would like to. And make recordings while I'm out there.

I mean, you know, do some video footage of polar bears and walruses and whales and penguins and whatever else you see in the Bahamas. You know, just, just, it'd be lovely. It'd be ever so nice.

I mean, imagine what I'll have to talk about. If I can talk every day for an hour, where I don't do anything. Imagine what I'll have to talk about when I'm actually doing things.

Wow. I would imagine if I went on a, on a holiday. So a week long cruise.

I'd have enough stuff to talk about to last me for probably five years. Just from that one week. I could stretch it out.

I talked about the stories. I could stretch the stories out. Yeah, I could.

So YouTube. I don't know. I thought about doing YouTube videos and just doing a lot where you don't see me.

It's just because some, some really popular YouTube people are hypnotists on YouTube. They rarely show themselves. It's even like a spiral in, you know, a spiral, hypnotic spiral animation, or maybe it's film footage of rivers and forests, which I did one of myself recently.

That kind of stuff. And some of those, they get huge amounts of downloads, millions sometimes. But the ones that really get the most downloads on YouTube for hypnosis are the gimmicky ones.

Seriously, things like, oh, make your eyes turn a different color with hypnosis. And the hypnosis will last maybe six minutes. So it suits those that don't want to listen to anything that's actually real hypnosis, I guess.

Or anything with any. I mean, six minutes can be a long time. It depends on what you what you're doing, I guess.

But those kinds of things, what's the other sort of gimmicky stuff? Oh, like forgetting your name, forget your name, I can make you forget your name with hypnosis. Those get millions and millions and millions of views. And the generally short hypnosis videos, short videos, gimmicky, of course.

Other ones are change your sexuality, others. I'm just trying to think of some real gimmicky stuff. I feel like I want to just have a look, but I won't.

Oh, even things like become taller, you know, kind of stuff that's just ridiculous. But, you know, ultimately, if you get someone to lie down and get someone to measure themselves, and then get them to lie down for a few minutes or half an hour or something, and then get them to measure themselves, and they probably will be a little bit taller, because their spine is stretched out. But it's almost this stuff is so gimmicky, and so on untestable, really, kind of pointless.

But I'm not in a position to say that anything's pointless when these recordings are pointless. However, I just, I've felt for a long time that it was almost harmful, I don't know, just not right to do stuff like that. Or it wouldn't fit in with what I do.

Because when I do hypnosis, I'm pretty serious with it. And, you know, it's pain relief, or relaxation, or stress relief, or, you know, various different things over the years. I'm trying to think of something, smoking, or nail biting, or things like that.

Phobias, or, you know, not serious thing, you know, in a sense of, oh, that's serious. But not jokey, not gimmicky. Although I might say the odd silly thing whilst I'm making the video.

And I steered my, I did really just steered away from that stuff, even though it's, it gets views, they get views. But I don't know, I mean, I did a video, I think my try and stay awake hypnosis challenge was probably the most gimmicky video I did. And that was my most popular video.

But the only gimmicky part was at the beginning, I'm saying, and this is a challenge for you to try and stay awake whilst listening to my voice. You know, close your eyes, and I'm going to talk to you. And if you are still awake, if you don't fall asleep anytime during this recording, then you've won.

And I'd get a lot of comments saying, I lost, or you know, that them telling me that I won, like they, that they lost and I won, you know, that it was a success for me. And then it became almost a video that people were listening to every day to get sleep. And it wasn't a long video, I think it lasts for 22 minutes.

But it was by far the most popular. I know I, on a couple occasions, I had over 100,000 views of it on different YouTube channels. And I know that if I'd stuck with that YouTube channel I had, which was becoming really successful, it was growing like every day, getting more and more.

And I'd have many millions of views on that video alone. Just because the YouTube channel was really starting to explode. I'm not starting to explain, I mean, it started and probably six months earlier, when I released that video.

And that was probably the summer of 2011. And then I moved. No, wait a minute.

Yeah, then I moved in 2012. And the YouTube channel was still growing. So yeah, for nearly a year, we started to get more and more subscribers.

And I mean, I wasn't going, you know, it wasn't going from, I wasn't getting thousands of subscribers a day, nothing like that. But I was getting I don't know, I think I got up to about 3000. Someone told me online, so I didn't realize I had that many.

They said, Yeah, you had over 3000 subscribers. But no, I was getting 45,000 video views a month. And it was been going up by probably 5-6,000 a month.

So it was increasing. So you know, 45,000 the next month would be probably 50-52,000. And you know, then it is that kind of thing.

So it's quite good. Even more impressive, really, when I look at the videos that I was uploading, and they were awful quality. Content was good.

But the quality of the video, the quality of the sound, but people were still watching them. So I think that was in itself quite impressive. So, but they might have just been watching because I was eye candy.

It might have been that, you know, because I was so pretty back then. That they that's, that's the reason. You know, I don't know.

It's hard. It's so hard to know, isn't it? Really. So, so, so what I'm going to do is almost kind of relaunch myself.

I mean, it's not a brand new YouTube channel. I've had it for two years, maybe three years, and I've done nothing on there. I just uploaded a bunch of videos.

And then I just left it, I didn't do anything. And so only the last few weeks, although it's been a couple of weeks, I've not put anything on there. But about a month ago, I started uploading a few videos and tidying the channel up, tidying the videos up, getting rid of anything that wasn't up to scratch quality wise.

So even if the video is really good, if the sound was crap, I got rid of it. If the sound was really good, and the video was rubbish, I got rid of it. So there's not that many videos on there.

But the ones that are on there are fairly okay quality wise. So I think if I just start making new videos, basically videoing myself and doing what I'm going to do anyway. So it's not really a setup, I don't have to set anything up as far as planning, like what am I going to talk about, because I'm making the podcast anyway.

It just means this time, instead of the microphone and all that stuff, the recording equipment, I also have a camera pointing at me. And maybe that microphone on my lapel, or the lapel microphone, I don't even know what a lapel is. I thought lapel was the thing on the shoulders, isn't it? That's a lapel, isn't it? Isn't it a thing on your shoulders? I might be wrong, I might be right.

I don't care. So yeah, this is really groovy. It's really good.

So this part of me doesn't want to do it, this part of me is a little bit, a little bit scared, I suppose, a little bit scared, a little bit nervous. But there's another side of me thinking, well you know what, what I'm doing now is much better than what I used to do. The quality, from every angle, pretty much is better than how it was.

You know, the audio, the video will be better, the audio is better. Even the content, I think, will be better. So because I'm so consistent, I think I, I hope, I don't know, but I hope that I might have improved in some ways.

Maybe again, maybe not with these ones, I don't know. But with the hypnosis side of things, I think it's hard to know really, isn't it? Whether or not I've improved from 10 years ago. I like to think I have.

If I haven't, then there's got to be something wrong, isn't there? Unless I hit my peak. Maybe I did hit my peak at 35, or 30, you know, that's when I started doing videos. 35.

Wow. Yeah. I was only 35 years old.

January 2000 and 6. Yeah, I was still 35 until the August. So January 2006, that's when I kind of launched and like started on this, the internet, hypnosis side of things. That was the start of that journey.

Although 2004 was really the start of it, but I didn't have any success in 2004. Or 2005. Then 2006.

I put everything into it. I mean, everything, honestly. Yeah, heart and soul, everything, every, every minute of every day was pretty much what I was thinking about.

I did, I had a full time job. So I did that as well. But you know, even during my lunch breaks, I was out handing, putting leaflets, either handing them out in town, or putting them through people's doors, you know, for the free pain relief service.

So it's a, yeah, so it was a big thing. And it just all, all worked really well. Everything kind of came together really nicely.

The online stuff, the stuff I was doing, the pain relief, and then the group relaxation sessions, the two to two different charities. And yeah, so that all, all kind of worked out really nice. And that took me into the end of 2007.

And then I moved to start my university course. So all of my live stuff, hypnosis wise, ended. All the groups stopped, and the pain relief thing, I tried to carry it over when I moved, but it didn't take here.

And I didn't really have the energy or time to put into it, because I was starting a degree. And my focus needed to be counselling for the next three years. But that didn't stop me with the online stuff.

I continued to make recordings, videos, podcasts, all through that time. In fact, the main thing I thought about above the degree course was the online stuff I did, the free hypnosis service, has been my focus above everything else for 15 years. Wow.

I mean, I was young, I can't believe it. I know technically 35 isn't young, but compared to 50 years, I was young. I had hair.

I still got hair, but I was Oh, what was I in 2006? I was, I guess I was a lot fitter physically back then. I don't know. I'm not sure.

But I just wow. I mean, that's a long time. And I don't know, I think maybe because of the way I present myself, it sometimes would seem that I'm not very serious in what I do.

Like I'm just doing it for a laugh. Which is partly partly true. No, it's not.

It's and I just roll up and do do a recording or made a video and that was it done. And I didn't put any, there's no effort, there's no, no care involved. But that's never been true.

There's always, I've done it out of caring, really. I'm sure there was some caring somewhere. I don't think you could half-heartedly, just for the sake of it, spend 15 years doing something.

And there's so much more that goes on behind the scenes. Then basically the people that don't do it would know. I mean, the podcast and the videos are different things.

So there's a different process for both. There's the promotion, there's the online kind of promotion stuff that you can do. SEO, search engine optimization.

There's lots of things you can do to increase your visibility online. And then it's the website. I've redesigned my website about 2,000 times and every time I redesign it, I've got more recordings and more pages to do.

Which is why now, actually saying that, I'm probably about to lose my domain name because I haven't paid for it yet. Can't you imagine that? That's it. If that happens, that'll be there'll be no more website.

But they threatened me to close it down, to cancel my domain name. All I've got to do is wait for a couple of days. I get paid on Wednesday and there's like £35 or something for the year.

It's like, come on, just like, just give me a break. As it's, as it's yearly, then surely you'd be able to have a little, like a week or two, you know, grazing. I don't know if that's the right word.

Plus, I've had that domain name since 2004 with them. That's a long time. What's that? 17 years.

So I've been paying them yearly for 17 years for that domain name. And I've never, I don't think I've been late before with a payment. So hopefully they won't delete me.

But if they, oh man, if they cancel it, and they just put it on, they could put it on the market and sell it, it'd be gone really quickly. Because I'm sure there's other people with my name that would quite like to have that domain name. And also instantly they'd have traffic to their website, like my traffic.

And all the work I put into that website, especially not just ones from the past, but the one now. Yeah, it's a lot of work goes into that, or has gone into it. There's many, many, many recordings on there.

And you can stream them free via the website. Or you can download every recording for free as well, straight to your tablet or laptop or phone or whatever. So you can keep the recording, the mp3 recording, forever and ever and ever.

So yeah, it's, I hope I don't lose it. But that needs to be my priority. As soon as I've got enough cash, I have to go online and pay that.

I don't want to lose my website. I'd be so annoying. Yeah, it would be annoying.

Because I don't get huge traffic to it. But it's one of those things that I've changed it way too often. So the links that were on there on the internet, become void.

But the links are still there. Or maybe they just become like, you know, they're pointless, having a link that doesn't work anymore. Or website addresses, you know, that doesn't work like the jasonnewland.com forward slash achy breaky heart, or whatever, you know, whatever the page was.

And it's, you know, so that website, all the pages were deleted, and I built another, redesigned a new website with all new pages. Which means it's less likely to, to attract new traffic, people that are used to the website, and they know where it is, they'll come and they'll always find me. But you know, part of the reason to be on online is to hopefully find or to gain new listeners.

Hopefully. Itchy chest. The hairs are starting to grow back.

So yes. So this week, coming forward is going to be an interesting week. I got my jab, on.

Yeah, I got jabbed this week as well. Gotta go to a hospital in a different town to have it done. A few other things happening.

I've not got a food delivery. Because the only delivery I could get was in the evening. And I just don't, I don't want that man coming back, the one that came before, who was rude.

So I don't want him. And I'm starting to think, you know, maybe it'll do me good if I can get out and buy some shopping. Maybe get, get out twice a week, and go to the supermarket and just buy some stuff.

And do it that way. Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps. I don't know.

I might do. I'm not sure. I think it may be possible.

So yeah, it's, Andre's been good. He's going to the toilet in the right places, which is nice. He's a good boy.

He's so cute. He's, I didn't realize how smelly my feet were until I went to plug in my phone to the charger, which is, you know, the other side of the room. Andre is in the bedroom.

And I'm just walking in my socks, which is the first time I've been able to do that in ages, because I can see the floor. So I'm not going to tread on anything that might, like an upturned plug socket or something like that, which is not good. So now I'm walking, I can walk across the floor without me flip flops or me crockers, whatever they're called on.

And literally within like a split of a second, Andre ran in. I think he almost like he ran through the wall. He was that excited to get to my feet and to start biting my feet and my toes.

Now I had socks on. But he loves feet. So he must have smelt my feet from the bedroom.

I don't know what he was doing in there. Playing with something or, I mean, who knows? I mean, he does sleep on the bed quite a lot. But he just appeared out of nowhere attacking my toes.

And he's like, can't help it. He loves toes. Absolutely loves toes.

Always been the same. And that's, that's like specific to him. In the same sort of like, I've seen videos of ferrets in the bath, having a bath and being cool about it.

Andre absolutely hates it. Honestly, he's, I think he's scared. He's scared of baths.

And I'm not sure how natural that is for a ferret to be scared of water. It doesn't make sense considering he's got webbed feet. In order to allow him to swim.

He's got webbed feet. His hands and his feet are webbed. He's a brilliant swimmer.

Yet he hates water. He, he will walk around every single puddle. He will never walk through a puddle.

He might stop and have a drink out of the puddle, but he will never walk through a puddle. Absolutely hates water. In that sort of capacity.

Well, he drinks water. That's his main thing he drinks. And I don't see how, if he was in the wild, he'd, he'd be in the, he'd be swimming through lakes, ponds, even, even fields get clogged up with water sometimes, don't they? And be swimming through that as well.

But yeah, it's very strange. Very strange indeed. The birds in the attic are scratching again.

I thought they'd be asleep by now. What is wrong with them? Why can't they just behave themselves? I don't know. I didn't know.

I don't know why. I really don't. So yeah, that's pretty much the end of this here recording.

It's a fairly busy week ahead. Yeah, quite a lot to do. We've got, what is it? Three more days after today of the month.

Oh, the clocks went forward last night, which means it's now lighter in the evening. Yeah. So that, I think that's a little bit, um, thrown me off a little bit because it was, yeah, they went forward.

Yeah, I don't know. It can throw us off a little bit, can't it? Just those kind of adjustments. But, uh, soon be April.

Blimey. April already. Okay, I'll end with a little song.

It's an aha song. So, the soft dreams of April are over. Soft dreams of April are over.

Over. Oh, that was pointless. Okay, if you're still awake, please remember to be kind to yourself because you do deserve to be happy.

Do something nice for yourself today. And I will speak to you again tomorrow. Lots of love.

Bye.
