Hello and welcome to jasonnewland.com. My name is Jason Newland and this is let me bore you, let me bore you, just you to sleep. Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes. I'm tired.
When I finish this recording I'm going to bed. Yes I am. Oh dibbly dibbly doo.
Indeed, indeed, indeed. Right let me see what messages I've got. Um oh my goodness.
Rachel has been sending me some pictures of myself and that's not me. She's added weird things onto my face. A beard.
Now I've, I know for a fact my beard isn't that grey. Like even when it's wild it's not that grey. It's, it's too grey for my personal peace of mind I guess.
But it's not that grey. There's a picture of me and it's not me. A completely different face.
I'm confused. Anyway Rachel says can I make a suggestion? How about you do a podcast in West Country accent, especially deep sleep whisper? And I said no. She said pretty please.
No. And let me tell you why. I mess around on these recordings only.
The let me bore you to sleep. The only ones that I really um play around and mess around and act slightly silly sometimes. When I do the hypnosis sessions I don't mess about.
I, I, you know I might say the odd silly thing but generally um it's not that I take myself seriously but I do generally take the recordings seriously. Kind of yeah. So if I was to, if I, if I was to do that um if I was to start a whisper one with hello me dearest how are you doing? Hello there.
Now you know people who listen to me on the whisper recordings which is a different audience. I mean there's a crossover. There might be some people that listen to these and listen to the whisper ones um but you know there is a podcast on its own which has its own audience who may not even know about the let me bore you to sleep.
And they might not take it very kindly if I start, if I go on there and start talking in a a completely different accent. They may even think that I'm making fun of them and I wouldn't want that. And you may think yeah well what about us then? What about the let me bore you to sleep audience? You don't care about, you don't care that you might be bored.
You don't want to be making fun of us. No because you know I'm making fun of you. You know it's in the contract.
It's implicit within the pressing the play button that this is a and not a very serious recording. This is just me chatting about stuff. Do you get me? Do you get me? Do you understand? So oh what's that? Blimey better turn the volume down on that one.
That's weird. I don't remember that being on there. I'm just looking at my phone and oh okay yeah I remember.
I haven't made a video yet. I am going to but you know what? I don't know if you might not be aware but I've been I've been quite productive with the podcasts as late and I don't want to I don't want to move away from the progress that I'm making. I don't want to move away from that.
So I do I'm definitely going to make this. Blah blah blah. I am definitely going to be making some videos but I need to do some more study on how to do it first.
And you know technically I know how to do it. You know you you face the camera lens towards yourself and you press record. It's not that complicated however I need to in for my own my own brain I need to feel a bit more confident in how I'm going to edit and to make it look and sound okay or good actually.
I don't know if that makes sense because I feel confident doing the podcasts. The sound quality is much better than it was. I'm feeling with the hypnosis side of things I'm feeling fairly creative at the moment.
I'm moving in a direction that I'm interested in doing especially with the stress and pain relief podcasts. So because that that hits it hits a few different targets of mine. Let me just share it with you what I mean what's it called the stress and pain relief podcast.
Now I don't get many plays or listens or downloads on that particular podcast but I get quite a few on the other podcasts that I share it because it's relaxation as well as pain relief. So I'm actually enjoying doing those because of the creativity that comes into it and I can also kind of be myself as well. So it's not as I don't know with the deep sleep whisper and the sleep hypnosis weekly I'm pretty serious kind of when I make them.
With the pain relief the stress and pain relief podcast I can play around a little bit you know in I don't know maybe the explaining what I'm going to do why I'm doing it. I don't know it makes sense to me anyway. I enjoy my passion was pain relief and to start not to start but to to get back to making a regular pain relief recordings is it ticks a really big box.
Yeah it ticks a very it's a very big box which has been almost ignored by myself. I've kind of ignored it or well partly is because when I was doing pain relief on its own I wasn't getting many many listens because the pain relief chronic pain podcast isn't particularly popular. This just hasn't got many people listening.
However people with sleep issues a lot of people with sleep issues have those sleep issues insomnia and stuff because of chronic pain. Millions of people in fact not everyone that has insomnia has chronic pain but millions of people who have insomnia also have chronic pain and the insomnia may be because of the chronic pain so but there's also millions of people that have insomnia that have no chronic pain you know so it's really but there's stress there is stress there so I found a to with that podcast to combine stress release or stress reduction with chronic pain reduction because it's the same process it's the same process.
Yeah I mean I discovered back in 2006 for myself I didn't discover it as in like a worldwide discovery but I discovered myself from practical use and experience with people face to face that with chronic pain conditions I don't know if I'm trying to word this properly increased relaxation leads to decreased pain sensation or the experience so the more relaxed you feel the less pain you feel and I know from another another thing I know from my experience is that a lot of people listening who have chronic pain will be annoyed at that sentence because
it almost sounds like I'm simplifying or and not taking seriously the condition that they have that you know the chronic pain and you couldn't get further away from that if you tried you know it is really one of my passions and it was one of my passions long before I even started doing podcasts in 2006.
I was studying chronic pain in 2002 you know I was you know it was something not just hypnosis with chronic pain but the actual chronic pain itself the the medicine that's used in hospices hospitals the the causes all the different types of chronic pain conditions the causes the different treatments including things like acupuncture and aromatherapy and um well it's just it's it's not endless but there's a lots and lots of different therapies therapeutic procedures even including things like talking therapies counseling psychotherapy can have a huge beneficial effect with people that have chronic pain issues plus
a benefit I have and it's a benefit I wish I didn't have is that I have chronic pain myself so and before it used to be again I don't know why I'm gonna laugh at things that aren't funny um I I had a shoulder injury back in to this it's a ridiculous injury really because I remember the night I was sitting there it's in the buddhist center the buddhist community where I used to live with buddhists back in I moved in there in 2005 I think it was like March time until November 2007 and that
was where I was going to live whilst I was at university and I had everything sorted out I'm not going to go down that road again because I've talked about it but I've never been more organized than I was at that time I had everything organized I had planned to stay there for the three years because I already lived there for a couple of years two and a half years I was going to stay there I was happy generally before some rubbishy stuff started happening in the house with another ten another person that lived there
he just basically he ripped the whole place apart with his behavior and two of us moved out including him three people moved out and the whole community went to pot and they ended up selling the place because they couldn't get anyone to replace us you couldn't find any three people to pay the rent because they needed five people five one two three four five yeah five people so anyway I had that sorted I had a girlfriend who I'd started seeing I had been with her for maybe two months three months something like that that was
going really well I got myself a part-time job in the supermarket which is the end of my road big Sainsbury's so and it was a Christmas job which I think probably would have led to a part you know a part-time permanent if I wanted it that's what I was told so I had that ready to start I had both my voluntary jobs in the drug rehab center and the the alcohol center as well where I used to do my group relaxation sessions and both of those places wanted me to do my counseling there when I
finished that's why I was doing a counseling course so that I could go and work at those two charities when I'd finished and then I was going to use them as my placement for my counseling training hours so all everything was kind of in place it was almost perfect in a way you know everything was really timed I had a girlfriend you know everything and and that didn't work out so you know it's this just the way things are I think maybe if I'd have rode the train if I'd have rode it and managed to
if I'd have dealt with it differently it would have all been different but so I'm not sure what the point I was oh yeah I moved into this place and I'm talking to my friend who I'd worked with previously in the Buddhist shop I worked in the gift shop it's called Evolution they're closed now not just now but they closed completely a couple about wow quite a few years back and I worked in two of them one in that town and then when I moved from there I worked in the one in the local town
as well because I knew people that worked there and who run it but anyway I was talking to him this friend in the kitchen of the Buddhist community I'd probably been living there for maybe two months three months maybe less yeah maybe less maybe only a few weeks and I just needed to talk about something that was going on and he was just listening there was really you know I felt connected to him for the first time really didn't realize how um I don't know perceptive or what a good listener he was or conversationalist and
anyway I was really enjoying it not enjoying it but I was appreciating his advice you know he was he was helping me and then you know I had to get up in the morning I had a job I said well okay I better get up not better go to bed I got up and there was a shelf um probably about probably about sitting down pretty where my head was that kind of height and I stood up and I bashed my shoulder on the edge of this shelf my right shoulder now I don't know how I
did it well I know how I did it I bashed into it I basically I guess I didn't know it was there I knew it was there but I'd never just wasn't aware of my surroundings or wasn't used to sitting in that chair maybe I don't know and it was excruciatingly painful which I was a bit surprised because you know normally things are painful and then they stop being painful this carried on being painful for a lot longer than I expected it to be to the point where I thought I'd broken something but then I
could move it I was nothing broken I can't pretty sure I've not broken anything but I had injured my shoulder I'm not sure if I went to the doctor or had an x-ray I'm not sure at that time I think I just ignored it and I didn't need my shoulder well I did need my shoulder I mean you can't be without your shoulder can you your arm would just fall on the floor but it's I walked you know I was in an office type in and it didn't really make that much difference to my life
I wasn't doing any sports or martial arts or boxing or anything at that time so I'd yeah I'd stopped doing the Wing Chun in 90 no 2004 I did that for about a year so yeah but anyway it didn't heal or it didn't seem to heal and it was really pain like proper like throbbing and ah this so basically it did heal but it was still painful which is what chronic pain is acute pain is when it's injured you've got an injury is acute pain after a certain amount of time it's then chronic pain because
it shouldn't hurt anymore basically and so I had an x-ray and the reason it was hurting is because the cartilage was rubbing against each other the the injury had caused cartilage to grow or overlap or something I don't know and it was rubbing against the nerves pinching the nerves and stuff which meant I needed an operation now I know two people that have had the operation exactly the same one was a bodybuilder or weightlifter which I think it's quite a common injury for people that do like weight weight lifting and maybe excessive sports so like
the joints and the knees or the elbows or the shoulders because they're overused you're used a lot and I don't know why I said you overused for those that don't understand what that means used a lot um itchy itchy arm so I went you know I went to the hospital had the x-ray they said well you need an operation as I'd known two people who had had that operation and I didn't fancy it if I'm honest I'm not going to go into details why because if there's someone out there that that's waiting for that operation
to have the cartilage I don't know I think they kind of remove the cart some of the overgrown cartilage just so that it moves freely it really is I think it's keyhole surgery I think um but I think for me it was the the amount of time that I wouldn't be able to use my arm when I didn't want to have time off work I I probably could have got by to a degree with my left hand for some there's some things oh dear I mean I was typing with both hands I was that's part
of my job typing with just one hand I'm not kind of in that category anymore um it's not that I'm like an expert typer but I am semi-competent well I was I mean it's been a long time but I don't know how to explain it I've got no if you do something every day for years and years you get used to doing it and you even if you do type with just one hand and two fingers you move around a lot quicker than if you you know if you keep doing it every day now I
use both hands when I type but I will look at the keyboard sometimes if I'm doing it but I don't know I just do it naturally so I don't know how much attention I pay necessarily but I'm not you know I don't know how many words I do a minute I think three minutes a word that's quite good isn't it anyway I I didn't like the idea of being out of action for a long time I didn't want to have an operation that's the bottom line I was a bit scared so for me I know
it might sound weird but I prefer operations when they're essential it was essential in a sense of always in a lot of pain but you know when I had my I've had two operations my appendix and my adenoids my adenoids were removed because I was partially deaf in one ear so that was an important operation to have and they had to sort some stuff out there and my appendix that was deemed to be important at the time even though I was kind of blagging it a bit I don't know I wanted to have appendicitis because
I knew it was going to be a nice couple of weeks off school now it sounds ridiculous but I was I didn't like school what can I say I really really didn't like school wasn't just I didn't like it I really didn't like it and the first year I really yeah I wasn't impressed going there the high school and I don't know I just didn't want to be there so I had my I loved having my appendix out it was being in that hospital for I don't know how many days I was there for probably
four five days probably something like that but those those were the days when you'd stayed in hospital for stuff now I would have been out probably the same day I'd be lucky if I got just what not lucky but it'd be you know even some women a good birth some men as well as far as I'm aware unless there's complications you get to go home straight away pretty much after having a baby now when I was a kid and I only know this because my little brother was born when I was eight you stayed in
hospital for at least a couple of days and if there was complications maybe had to stitch your bum up or something it might be in there for like a week or two but it's just not like that anymore it's it's you know I know someone had a heart um heart bypass and they were out the next in the afternoon or something like it's like what you mean you're out in the afternoon so you just had to just what what so I mean we are overpopulated in this country in the United Kingdom of England Britain Commonwealth
well used to be European as well but it's a shame see I don't really I don't I don't know enough about politics and all the everyone seems to be experts which I don't understand how they are considering you see these people that is it is it weird that people don't really read or do really anything or they're you know busy working working working they don't have time to watch all of the political programs the interviews that are done so how do they manage to have such strong opinions about politics when they don't actually have the
information because there's only so much information you can get from reading a tabloid newspaper this you know it's it's more gossipy opinion led rather than fact so so how do they manage to have well why are they allowed to vote but why how I always I noticed that right from an early age the people with the strongest opinions seem to have the less if the least amount of information they seem to know the least yet they seem that the biggest the strongest opinion about something without any knowledge about any real you know and I don't
know if it's a handbook that people are passed down from their parents maybe or maybe it was at school and I was off that day where you just repeat the same old stuff in an argument it's the same same stuff and I remember what I was talking to a friend and he was talking about refugees and he's oh refugees they get and he's reeling through all the things that refugees get as soon as they get off the boat yeah they they've saved which unfortunately there's some horrible things happen and they end up being saved and
stuff which is good but they I think this friend of mine was saying this is years ago he said yeah you know what they get you know what they get when they when they get here they get they get their own mobile phone they get their own house their council flat they get their own mercedes car oh really oh what did they get did they get a private jet oh blimey it's almost just laughable but they seem to believe it people that lie and make stuff up seem to how do they get to the point
where they can actually believe themselves I don't know I mean I've spoken to people that come out with some real rubbish including myself obviously but you know I come out with I've always made an effort to make my lies obviously lies so if I say something that's ridiculous I I expect the person I'm saying it to to know that I'm just making it up which is why I say really silly stuff like more outrageous rather than lying for the sake of it and I've thought about this over the years why do people lie why do
people lie now as a kid sometimes you have to lie because it's easier I know that sometimes as an adult it's easier to lie you know someone comes if if your if your loved one a loved one says do I look nice in this attire that I'm dressing not a tire an actual tire but do I look nice or does my hair look nice or does do I whatever or listen to this music I'm playing you a bit of music today you know do you like it or whatever it is you know or read you
a poem that I've just written that's a real difficult one that is I think poems should just be kept private just because it's so poems are so personal I used to write poetry by the way and some of it rhymed some of it didn't I realised you know if you read other people's poetry after a while you realise that it doesn't have to rhyme it can but it doesn't have to and it's ultimately about what you what you're expressing I don't mean as in milk like a pregnant milker but a pregnant milker like expressing like
petrol you express petrol don't you no well petrol pumps express petrol don't they isn't that what's called expressing and you feed your car with the the petrol teat I don't know I'm just trying to um why do people lie okay that's the question why do people lie um sometimes I get so far off the subject I don't know what I said last I must have said something what was it though what was it I was talking about opera oh yeah my shoulder so talk about the chronic pain so I had and lying I don't how
to manage to get to that from there and milk producing petrol pumps strange I had so this this shoulder injury which dead it did heal but it healed in a way that it was hurting when I used it but it's one of those weird things because I could lift up a bag of potatoes and nothing not even a twinge and then later on in the day I got to pick up a pen from the table and absolute agony literally like shrieking shrieking like like you know very embarrassing especially when I got married and I had
to sign the register and I'm just crying and shouting and screaming no that didn't happen so that was for a different reason wonder if I'll ever get married it's easier to imagine getting married when there's no mirrors around and I can't see myself I wonder I wonder what that would be like to get married to be not trapped that's not the right word um you know I kind of think of it in my at my age it would be an adventure because the thing is realistically it's it's not going to be a very long marriage
being no I'm just even if we stay together the longest is going to be I suppose it could be like a 50 year marriage well it's not but let's say 45 years or 40 years or it's still quite a long time isn't it maybe I'll wait until I'm 80 then get married but that's going to be difficult though isn't it at 80 it's part of me you would like oh I'd like someone to look after me in old age but there's a it's pretty a bigger part of me that doesn't want someone to look after
me in older age to not have that responsibility put that on someone else and I know that because I'm in a position where I can choose because when people get married quite often they're younger in their 20s maybe even late teens early 30s whatever and they're not thinking I mean some people may but I think a lot of people they wouldn't be thinking about old age or illness or you know kind of you know getting old and stuff and what that may contain and the idea of having someone looking after them or looking after someone
else now that's going to happen if you marry someone and you stay with them one of you at some point is very likely going to have to look after the other person physically and emotionally I guess but I suppose my Mike yeah I don't know I don't know it's it's not that I wouldn't want to look after someone else that's not really the issue I just who would but I mean I just I'm not sure if I'd want someone to look after me it just doesn't seem fair on someone else because I can't imagine it
I'll be even when I'm well I probably wouldn't be with me wouldn't wouldn't be a picnic you know it's probably be a bit annoying so I think to to get to the point where you look after someone in old age you need to have had a really nice time when you're younger with that person yeah I don't know I'm just making stuff up I'm just I'm just talking because this is kind of alien to me this is to me this is like nipple clamps I just don't get it I don't understand I don't really I
don't really I can't really get a grasp of the idea and marriage I don't know another thing that put me off getting married is I mean I class myself as being very lucky that I've had a lot of female friends that I've got to know really well not in relationships not romantically but just as friends but what's come from that is I've had years of hearing my friends moaning about their husband or boyfriends and not really really really going on and these are people that I'm close to or I've been close to in the past
females that I really you know got on really well with their boy their boyfriends didn't always like it but there was nothing going on between me and them so you know because I was doing I was at college I was doing courses and massage reflexology counseling hypnosis all of these different courses were predominantly females apart from the hypnosis that was probably probably about 50 50 um maybe yeah it depended it depended but you know it's definitely uh maybe 60 40 in female favor reflexology both the courses I did in reflexology was all women the counseling
course was I'd say 85 percent women there was one two three four five men when we started after the first year after the first term one left after the first year another left no and another left three so at the end of it there was only three men and how many women let me count one there's my my best friend uh there is uh I'm not going to say their names so what's her name uh what's her name what's her name what's her name what's her name um what's her name what's her name no there's
at least eight maybe nine ladies at the end let you know 10 I'm just I've added more now 10 I'm trying to count them all 10 um it was a definitely a very jumbly jumble cell mix of different people from all all kind of situations there was um out of all of it there's only one person that really didn't like me on that course she was the little mouse I've spoken about before she had this tiny tiny little voice and like that was it I couldn't couldn't register her voice with my ears now I've still
got a little bit of a hearing issue with one of my ears and sometimes I have to ask people to repeat themselves but you know it is what it is I'm not going to wear a hearing aid unless I really needed it and to be fair I don't think wearing a hearing aid is going to improve my chances of meeting someone romantically if I'm with someone and I end up having to wear a hearing aid then I'd like to think they'd be compassionate enough and love me love me enough to not be bothered at all
but I don't think it's an addition and I think it's uh it's going to make me more more attractive no probably not I don't know but at the same time I actually don't care I wouldn't I'm not really for wearing a hearing aid it's no different to wearing glasses apart from they help you hear the glasses help you see and I don't know why I'm actually verbalizing that but from the in the same kind of it's the same thing really it helps you with a disability with a physical impairment I just think when I was
at school the hearing aids you actually had to carry them in a wheelbarrow with you you need the wheelbarrow to carry them around so that's why you always knew the people that had hearing issues because they had wheelbarrows with them and but then over time they got smaller and eventually eventually you could you could put them behind your ear but they were heavy and again you could always tell the people had previously worn hearing aids when they were younger because their ears were on their neck it's because they were so heavy I actually had a
friend who had his ears pinned back surgically and there was nothing wrong with his ears they stuck out but my stuck out is I probably got ears just as big as his at the time he was so um had an issue about it that he ended up having his ears stitched back and I remember saying to him they look the same mate they still look the same it's still sticking out which probably wasn't useful but I was 10 you know what can you do no I didn't I just I was saying there's nothing wrong with
your ears and if anyone ever had like say oh flappy whatever oh it's wrong but I used to be if I had a friend and someone someone picked on or tried to pick on them I'd always defend them so I'd pick on that person so oh and believe it or not I used to be quite verbal and so someone picked on someone a friend of mine saying oh you've got big flappy ears or dumbo or you know those kinds of things um sometimes I'd laugh first and then because you know if you caught if something
makes you laugh it makes you laugh that's it you can't help what you laugh at and regardless if it's if you laugh at something that is um really wrong it doesn't mean that you agree with the subject matter or that you agree with what was said you're just being caught off guard and you laughed and sometimes things are funny not because of what has been said just the fact that it's been said that I find that funny the situational stuff so if someone says something really inappropriate in front of someone who they shouldn't say it
to you know I'm not laughing necessarily at the fact that what they said is insulting and derogatory or whatever I sometimes find it hilarious that they said it oblivious to who they're around and the fact that they would just come out and say something like that and then it just like becomes stronger and stronger and I find it funnier and funnier you know I mean I'll give you an example there's lots I won't give you any really good examples but when I was counselling not counselling um uh what's it called knocking on people's doors um
for leads for double glazing I forget the name of it now oh man my head uh what was it called canvassing canvassing when I used to do canvassing me my two friends Dean and we were together the three of us would go out in an evening and Jeff who was about 90 then would take us out in his car he'd park up he'd say go down that way go down that way sometimes he'd go and do something himself but we didn't know where he was everybody said I was probably hot probably basically we were just
making fun of him we're standing there laughing and making fun of him and his his mannerisms and all that stuff and then a car pulled away and he was there behind the car doing his shoelace up the other side of the road and it was only a little road he could hear everything we'd said now I should have been embarrassed um I should have been like oh no because he was the boss but I couldn't stop laughing my friend as well it's just Nat wasn't there she was working just me and Dean were just having
a break and I couldn't stop laughing it was just so it's just just he couldn't make it up you know I was just oh I found it so hilarious um he wasn't happy but at the time I didn't care anyway I mean I really I got on really well with him but it didn't stop me from making fun of him because that's what I did just you know it's for fun I mean I think he quite liked me because he used to take me home and give me showers no he didn't he used to take
me home and feed me because his wife he had a wife and they used to cook for me sometimes it was lovely really proper nice food probably the best food I've ever had um I don't know quite what it was but they were like almost like chefs you know they did food very different I think what it is because it was just for the three of us although he was just making dinner for two people and when I was a kid there was a lot of us so the food was always good my my step
mom my first first step mom brilliant cook and my second is my current step mother brilliant cook they're all my dad's been very lucky with that side of things you know he's always well I don't know always but the last couple of marriages he's you know had really really good cooking um I'm not quite sure why I was mentioning that why am I mentioning food there must have been a reason couldn't get any sugar earlier at the garage didn't have any sugar it's not until you run out of sugar that you realize do you well
not you but I rely on sugar but I had I ended up having two steroid injections in my shoulder I think about six or seven months apart and I couldn't believe right I could not believe that I went from being in a lot of pain to zero zero pain practically instantly now the injection was painful but then I had full movement of my shoulder before I'd even left the office mind you I did stay there for 14 hours no I didn't but I was honestly I was like wow and then I think after about six
months maybe less it started to ache again started to flare up back to where how it was before so I had another injection and the doctor said this is it I said I know I've had one before he said no sir this is it I said I know I've just felt you put the put the prick I see you've got the prick in your hand and you're about to put it inside me you know I do know he said no this is it I said he said kept saying I know I just felt you put
it in my arm you inject me I know he said no this is it you can't have any more I said I don't want anymore there was enough there you squared enough inside me to last me for another six months I'm happy he said no this is it you can't have any more injections I said what are we talking about Willis he said what I said what he said what I said what I said what do you mean he said well you can't have any more steroid injections I said why he said well basically if
you have more than two you it can do the opposite effect and make it worse I couldn't believe that honestly I was just what absolutely so I enjoyed the next six months of you know having no problems with my shoulder and then it came back but what's weird is over time it's got to the point where it doesn't really hurt that much it it it's a bit stiff sometimes it gets stiff but all I gotta do to make it less stiff is just rub it for a bit and it's not it's not so stiff I'm
rubbing it now oh I think it might be because I put on more muscle and stuff since then and maybe the muscles separated the cartilage from each other I hope someone's decided to stop calling yourself buff I've never once called myself buff but I have put muscle on since then you know if you do weight training you put muscle on it's as simple as that it's not it's not like oh no great it's like you know if you go swimming regularly you you get to the point where you can swim more lengths or if you
do podcasts regularly you get to the point where you become really good haha some some people do some people and then what's weird about it is my back that's my back's been playing up since the late 90s I remember I was doing a hypnosis course in April 1999 yeah 1999 and there's this man he said you would like some body work I said what do you mean he said I can help you with your lower back now I always thought it was kind of my hips rather than my back because it's quite low down and
it felt to me more hippy than backy but apparently it is my back and but you can feel it going down into the hips and I said what are you gonna do he said oh I'm just gonna touch you a little bit and I said no you're right I don't like being touched by men he said no he said um a bit weird but no that's not what I was not not gonna touch you so he said you said you're gonna touch me he said no but your feet I'm gonna move your feet and your
legs and get you to do some exercises so he was a body worker he called himself and I did these exercises which involved pushing my legs together and putting one leg and pressing down and stuff like that and it did help it did help and for some reason I stopped doing it in fact maybe if I did a bit more it might might be useful and gradually because it wasn't it used to play up a little bit if I sort of was sitting down for too long or you know just generally aches and pains or
walked for too long but it wasn't a huge issue and then over time over the years it's just it's gained you know it's gained up on me ganged up on me and to the point where yeah six seven years ago I had to stop doing taekwondo because of it and that's when I went and saw a chiropodist to see if they could help and they put me in touch with a chiropractor and they said that it's just wear and tear but they didn't give me an x-ray you need an x-ray you don't know what's going
on inside a body without an x-ray it gives you an idea more of an idea than just sort of looking at it and maybe touching it a little bit so I had a few exercises but they were charging it was charged up 45 pound for 15 minutes I mean 45 pounds for 15 minutes that's a lot of money no matter what you're doing 45 pound for 15 minutes is a lot of money no matter what you do it's a lot of money and to just have some some man press on my back and then get
me to to lay down on a bench and to maybe try and click me um 45 pound for 15 minutes is a lot of money so I didn't didn't really I went twice I think and was it and yeah it's just gradually gradually uh continued with its with its journey so I suppose that's part of the reason why I feel I can do those podcasts for the stress and pain relief because you know the experience I've got that's that's kind of where I was going with this and then I started talking about people lying and
I really want to talk about liars but it's just too late I was just it's time to go now time to go oh no so I will be making some videos but right now um I need to it's just stuff I need to do first but it will be happening I'm just building up towards it because once I start I will be doing them every day maybe a few times a day so there's a lot I need to find a way to do the editing in the most easiest manner possible so that I'm not spending
two hours working on editing a video because I just don't have that time to do it if I was if that's all I was doing was one video a day nothing else then I suppose I could spend two hours editing it but when I'm making other recordings and there's a lot more goes into making podcasts than just making a recording there's a lot of other stuff that's involved in the whole thing which I've talked about in the past so you know just the uploading I do all the uploading of my podcasts on my phone so
I've got all that set up and it works really really well really well oh here's what I was gonna say I can't believe I forgot this I reached which actually yesterday now but I reached three million downloads since November 2018 it's actually three million one thousand one hundred and three but yeah over three million downloads since November 2018 so what's that November 2018 2018 19 no 1920 then December January February March so it's two years four months and one week two weeks yeah it's not bad is it it's not bad I think it's wonderful it's
wonderful and again like yesterday I had 8,900 downloads today 8,148 so to be getting you know 8,000 plus I'm pleased with that because it's a lot higher than what it was a few weeks ago it really is so I'm looking forward to the audience growing and the statistics getting higher and higher yes it will be lovely very much so yeah right well that's it I do believe I'm gonna go I'm going to upload this I edit it and all that stuff then upload it and then I'm gonna go to Beddybuys myself so thank you very
much for listening remember to be kind to yourself because you deserve to be happy lots of love bye
