#599 Let me bore you to sleep

And at the end of this month, I will be doing more, but at the moment I'm just, I don't have the right setup at the moment to, so I can make a video, or I can make a podcast, to do both at the same time, takes equipment that I don't have, but it's always, it's experimentation, trying to find adapters that work, and I bought an adapter a few weeks back, it didn't work, and that adapter was so that I could use my microphone setup using my phone, because I have all the same apps on my

phone as I do on the iPad, you know, they're synced, they're identical, but I was unable to do that, so I'm using the iPad, I'm unable to connect the phone, the microphone setup I've got with the tablet.

I can set it up to the PC, but you're going to have the buzzing sound of the computer, like that in the background, that's not ideal.

The only way that would work is if I, I guess, managed to get a long lead and record in a different room from the PC, and it's, it's a lot of falafel, so I'm not going to bother with that, but I will be using the PC for video editing come next month. So I've ordered an adapter from Amazon, I think it was like £12 or £16, something like that, well that's a weird noise, and the idea behind it is, hopefully, hopefully, I'll be able to plug it into the phone and do what I'm doing now with the iPad, but with the phone using the same recording software. But hey, we'll see.

The last one didn't work, I just hope this one does. It's basically like a camera, a camera thing, a camera connector or something. So, there you go, we'll see.

Let me have a look if I've got, I can tell you exactly what it is. Amazon, no, it's not picking up, it's not allowing me to even go online on here, which is weird because I know the internet is working. If only you knew, if only you knew the amount of, work is not the right word, but time, just trying to upload my recordings, because the internet keeps cutting out, and I was trying to figure out why is that? I'm beginning to think that it's because the internet is really a service for people to download.

You know, when you go onto a website, you download all the stuff from the website, the pictures, the data, there's text, all that stuff, which is why the download speed is always a lot higher than the upload speed. Now, I spend more time uploading than downloading, so I upload to, probably in a week, one, seven, probably three, four gigabytes worth of audio a week, perhaps less, perhaps more, because the longer recordings, sometimes it's nearly 200 megabytes. I mean, I can tell you exactly.

I did a deep sleep whisper, no, yeah, I did, yeah, number 302, deep sleep whisper, I did earlier, and that was yesterday I did that, because it's now Saturday, the 20th of February, 2.48 in the morning, and the one with music was 289.5 megabytes, so that's about average. If I do one with music, that's the kind of size we're looking at, you know, nearly 300 megabytes. The audio without was, it was 20 minutes, 21 minutes long, without music was 50.8 megabytes.

Now, the Let Me Boy To Sleep recordings, they're all 150 plus megabytes, generally. Yesterday's one was 169.1 megabytes, so it gives you an idea, there's a thousand megabytes in a gigabyte. So, yeah, I'm using quite a few gigabytes, but uploading, and it's, I think it's like, what, 10, I forget, probably about 10 megabytes a second upload, although I think sometimes it is quicker than that.

Sometimes it just, but it just breaks continuously, you know, sometimes six, seven, eight, twelve times a day, it cuts out when I'm trying to upload stuff. And on a busy day, when I've done maybe four or five recordings, I seem to be spending half the day trying to upload, and I can't do anything else when I'm uploading. I've never been so angry.

So, yeah, it's time consuming, but it's not practical. It, something needs to be changed. I need to have a good look at this internet provider of mine, and maybe see if I can get a better, a better service.

I mean, I might be better off getting a mobile phone contract with unlimited data, and then upload everything on my phone, because as I said, they're connected together. So, earlier on, my iPad was run out of juice. So, I uploaded, I was uploading recordings on the phone.

I've never done it before, you know, I've never done, I've never uploaded podcasts on the phone before. But it's the same process, everything's exactly the same. Just the screen is smaller, obviously.

It's not obvious, I might have a massive iPhone, a big, messy screen, but I don't. So, if I had, if I just used the mobile data, first of all, 4G is quicker than the internet I've got, than the broadband. It's moving up to 5G as well, isn't it? I think, soon.

So, that'll be even quicker. So, I might look at that, maybe, if not using the iPad, the iPhone, then using it as a hotspot for the iPad, and whatever else I'm using. So, it might just be a better way of doing it.

The only problem with phones is the reception. You know, with, with the internet, it's all, it's all connected by wires. I know it's wireless via the router, but the actual internet connection from the green box, or blue box, wherever it is, the other side of the park, traveling underground, or overground, I don't know.

I always start wanting to sing the Womble song. Underground, overground, the Wombles of Wimbledon. So, it's wired all the way to the router, which is sitting on my windowsill, and then from there, it's wireless, which is literally, probably four foot away, five foot away from where I am now.

And with the mobile, it can be a bit touch and go, sometimes, like reception-wise. Although, I generally get a good reception up here. I'm on the top floor, so I'm higher to the, closer to the satellites, than if I was lower down, and further away.

I live on a roof, basically. I live on the 45th floor, which is quite good. So, that might be something I might look into, actually.

Actually. Yeah, I might look into that. In fact, as I think about it, it seems like a good idea.

Because there's no point, I have to get unlimited data, because I use too much. I remember, with the one I'm with, the contract ran out, and I said, they put the money up, because, well, basically, they wanted to charge me more. And I said, no, it's too expensive, I want to go, I'm leaving you.

I said, we're getting a divorce, that's it. I want to go elsewhere. And they said, yeah, be careful, because unlimited plans don't always give you unlimited.

There's usually a fair use policy. I said, what do you mean? They said, well, if you go over a certain amount, then they might cut your internet off. I said, what? I said, what do you mean, fair use? They said, well, you're over your fair use limit here.

But we just, we don't cut you off, we just let you carry on. I said, what do you mean? They said, would you want to know how much you've used? I said, yeah, right. I think he said, I use something like 300 gigabytes a month.

300 gigabytes a month, I was using, which is a lot. It is a lot, isn't it? Something I said, sometimes it was 260. But yeah, it's a lot.

I'm thinking it's that's 10 megabytes, 10 gigabytes a day. Now, but then if you think about it, you might not know this, but watching an hour of Netflix is about a gigabyte. It can be about a gigabyte.

So you can see how easy it would be to actually, if you're watching TV all day, if I was, I don't watch TV all day, I don't watch Netflix all day either. But I could easily do five hours of Netflix, which is five gigabytes, which is 150 gigabytes a month. Just watching five hours a day of Netflix.

And then all the uploading, which is another, I don't know, maybe 100 gigabytes a month. Perhaps less. Yeah, probably actually no less.

I don't know, it wouldn't be that much. Still going to be quite a bit though. So yeah, I might look into that.

In fact, I don't have any internet, so I can't do it on my phone. Let's see. So I've got a couple of messages.

This is what I ordered online. It should come here at some point. Excuse me.

What it is? Oh, shut up. Okay. It's a Mellow Audio USB adapter, OTG cable upgrade USB camera adapter, compatible iOS 9.2-13. Supports camera, piano, microphone, audio interface, keyboard, drum mixer.

I have no idea what that means. Basically, I did some research and it's supposed to, I'm supposed to be able to use it with the iPhone. I hope, but the iPhone and the iPad that I've got, they've both got different plugs, not plugs, you know, the things that plug into it.

The iPad, iPhone's got, is it lightning? And the other one's got a different, I think it might be Thunderbolt or something. It's just Apple, I just, they love making things. They, I don't know, almost like they're just trying to wind me up.

I just, and then I found out that the Apple, the iPad and the tablet that I've got, they both can be charged. It's a Samsung, they've both got the same charger, two different chargers, but they both charge on the same thing. And it's the same charger that can be used on a Samsung phone.

It's like weird, you know, very strange. So, if I, if I get that through tomorrow or Sunday or whenever, what I'm going to do is plug it in. If it works, I would then, I'll test it out first, of course.

And then I'll make some recordings using the iPad to video and the iPhone to record the audio. And then I'll just post them separate, the iPad. When I did an iPad video last week, the picture was fairly good and even the audio was pretty good.

So that's, it's fine for now. I made a video yesterday or the day before using the tablet and I, I was doing the lighting, you know, trying to get the lighting okay and so it doesn't bounce off of me spectacles and stuff. It was okay.

The sound wasn't loud, but it was, it was okay. And it uploaded a lot easier than it does with the iPad for some reason. So it's, it's weird how, I mean, they're both kind of supposed to be for the same thing.

It's a tablet, but they're very different. The Samsung's really much better than the iPad in some ways, for some things and the iPad superior, seems superior in other ways. It's very, and there's certain things I can't do without each other.

I need both of them to do it. So an example of that would be on my website, add in the latest recording. So I can do that on the iPad, but I can't upload the recording to the website because the app won't work.

The app won't open using the iPad due to software issues. And the website's not compatible with the, the iPad that I've got, which is the latest. Well, it was the latest when I bought it.

Well, I'm not, I don't own it. I'm still paying for it monthly. But the Android, I can do everything on there.

I can upload the recording and also, you know, port, you know, build the website and put stuff into it. My Android's on the prowl. The thing is with the iPad, I've got a keyboard, so I can put stuff in and type.

It's much easier with the tablet pressing the screen. You know, it's just, it's not ideal, but it's good for uploading. It's pretty quick as well.

So we want to say strange, strange, strange, strange, strange, strange. And as far as using tools like Adobe for Photoshop, well, I don't know about Photoshop, but especially like video and audio editing, can't do that. I can't do that on the tablets.

I need to use a, an actual PC because, you know, or, you know, a Mac, Apple Mac, because the software needs to be downloaded onto the hard drive. Andre? I want to pick Andre out and bring him over. Everybody wants to say hello to you.

So I'm not, you know, I don't use it at the moment. It's just open. But I've got some duct tape that I'm going to use and tape up the gaps.

So he's not going to be able to get through. And then I'll have, ah, it'll be bliss. I'll have the front door and all that.

Just that little space where I'll be able to walk in and take my coat off. And I won't have to worry about, like, treading any of his stuff or having paper down. I don't know why he loves, he's always loved going there, right in front of the front door.

I've tried to dissuade him. You know, I even used to put stuff on the floor so he couldn't get it. But what he would do, he would either go to the toilet in front of the thing or he'd move it out of the way.

He'd literally budge it out of the way so he could do a poo. Naughty boy. You're naughty.

By the way, I watched a film the other day and I really recommend it. I can't remember where I watched it. I think it was I think it was on Netflix.

I think. Or Amazon. I'm pretty sure, I think it was Netflix.

But it's basically Owen, is it Owen Wilson? But it's called Bliss. B-L-I-S-S. And it's really good.

Initially, I was put off because it said romantic movie. And I don't want to watch no romantic movies, really. You know, I've watched a lot of romantic movies that are classed as rom-coms and they're brilliant.

Just don't use the word romantic. Otherwise, it turns me off. You know, Sleepless in Seattle when Harry meets Sally.

Brilliant films. Funny. I know it's kind of about romance, but it's more than that.

But this, yeah, this there's romance involved, but it's really good. Not particularly funny, to be fair. But it doesn't have to be because what it makes up for is it's trippy.

I mean, they do explain it as trippy. But there's things in it that you might not notice when you watch it. There's a few things that caught me off guard and I rewound it and I thought, blimey.

Yeah, it's a very, very strange film. You could say it's, there's a few similarities to The Matrix. In a sense of a part of the storyline.

But ultimately, it's about a serious, well, I'm not going to spoil it, actually. I'm not going to spoil it. It's a really, really good film.

Really good film. I think it's one of the first films where I've seen Owen, is it Owen Wilson? Without, like, not doing a comedy. He normally does comedy roles.

Is it Owen Wilson? He's got a perfect voice. Owen, if I just put in Bliss. So it's Owen Wilson and Salma Hayek.

And I would say that it's possibly an Oscar winner. Because of the acting in it. It's really, probably the actor, the Salma, is it Salma? Salman, Salman Hayek.

I see how she could possibly get nominated for an Oscar. And it wouldn't be the supporting actor, because I would say they were both equal. They were both, I know he was the star, but she was, you know, the story was about him.

But she was much more than a co-star. She was a huge part of the whole thing, pretty much from the start. But it's called Bliss.

And it's, let me have a look, see when it, what, it should tell me what it was on. Bliss, Bliss. Where? It doesn't say where it's on.

Blimey. See, here's where we, where we differ. I've just seen a review for it.

Epically bad acting in tiresome sci-fi fantasy. This is on the 4th of February 2021. Owen Wilson and Salma Hayek star in a conceited mess of a movie with a guessable finish.

I don't know, maybe I, I, um, it's a pile of crap. Don't watch it. I really wouldn't.

No, I liked it actually. And to tell you why, why I would recommend it. What I liked about it is it's one of the first films in a long time that I watched from start to finish without wanting to take a break or even take my eyes off the screen.

I can watch movies in like five parts, sometimes turn it off and come back the next day and continue watching it. That I watched all the way through. It grabbed and kept my attention.

Now that Guardian, the way I see it, right? Newspaper columnists and critics, newspaper critics, you know, they're bitter. If they weren't bitter in the past, they're definitely bitter now because they know they're not going to have any jobs in the next couple of years. The newspapers are going to be closing.

It's moving online and they're going to be depending on people paying subscriptions and people generally ain't going to want to do that. So these people with their bitterness, they're probably even more bitter than normal. So I guess that's maybe why that Guardian person, whoever he or she is.

See, I don't understand it. What, what's, what they got? I know, I guess they have to be descriptive. Like I just said, I like the film.

It's really, you know, it's very, I thought it was very clever and as far as predictable, yeah, okay, fair enough. You know, it's hard to be, it's hard to be 50 years old and not kind of having seen most things when it comes to movies. Not much surprises me, but there were parts of that movie that did, it grabbed my attention.

And there was a few surprises along the way. And I like films that do that. But yeah, a lot of stuff is very predictable.

But only because I've seen thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands of films. Thousands and thousands. There was a time when I'd go into a video store and I'd have watched every film pretty much, apart from the romantic ones.

And you know, I'd watch nearly every film because I was, it wasn't even, I wasn't even a film buff. I just liked watching movies. So it's quite rare when a movie comes on a telly that I've not seen.

And if I haven't seen it, it's probably because I didn't want to watch it. But then sometimes I'm pleasantly surprised and I watch a movie that I didn't want to watch in the past. And I kind of gave it a, gave it the slip and I thought, nah, can't be bothered with that.

And then when I watch it, I'm like, wow, falling in love with it. It's that was, that was superb. I'm ever so pleased.

Never been so happy. And it was trying to think of an example. I'll give you an example of a television show that I put off watching.

So I thought it's going to be crap, absolute rubbish. I'm not watching this. And I ended up being, it's biggest fan really, I guess, was the Sopranos.

When it was launched on, I think channel four in 2000 or yeah, probably 2000. That was, you know, a gangster thing. And I'm not really a huge fan of gangster stuff.

A bit more now, but at the time it wasn't really that bothered. And I thought it was going to be like the Godfather and I thought, oh, it's a bit, I know the Godfather, brilliant movies, but slow, very slow. Although I recently watched the Godfather three, because I never watched it because I just figured it was going to be rubbish.

And it wasn't, it wasn't like the first two, but there was no need for it to be like the first two. You know, it was, yeah, I liked, yeah, I liked it. I didn't watch it all the way through from start to finish.

But I did watch it in about 17 parts. And yeah, I liked it. It had a bit of, had action, it had good, you know, a fairly good dialogue.

It was a little bit too, for my liking, a little bit too engrossed in getting the, you know, the Catholic church in Rome involved in that, that got a little bit, maybe a bit complicated, really. It was very quite political and stuff, but yeah, that was all right. I just, I just feel this, this ways of, I'm not, I'm not a reviewer of anything.

But I don't see the need to be horrible about something. Like I didn't like it, fair enough. I did like it, I'll rave about it.

But I suppose that's part of the, I don't know, I'll tell you what it is I'm going around tonight. I remember, I was really looking forward to the Simpsons movie. You know, I'm not like a huge Simpsons fan, but I'm a Simpsons appreciator.

Yeah, there's only so many years I can watch the same thing. I have to take a break. And because The Simpsons has been on for about 700 years, I, you know, I don't really watch it anymore.

But when I do watch it, I do appreciate how clever it is. It's just incredibly well written. Very funny at times.

But it used to make me laugh that the, when it first became popular in England, it was classed as a kids, kids show. Because it used to be on at six o'clock in the afternoon, or, you know, dinner time, six in the evening, still is. And the newspapers thought it was a kids thing.

Because it was a cartoon, so it must be for kids. And they thought the star of it was the kid, Bart Simpson. And he isn't the star.

It's the father that's a star. But they thought the kid was the star. And all the things like eat my shorts.

And it was always, you know, all these catchphrases and t-shirts with Bart Simpson on and stuff. When actually Homer was the star of the show. It was just, yeah.

The only thing about that show is, I struggle when I'm with someone. And they say, and they, you know, they make a mistake or, and they say, oh, don't like that. Don't.

All right. No, please. Please don't do that.

It's just, I know it kind of. Oh, no. No, don't do that.

Make your own, make your own sound up. Don't. I mean, no, you're not Homer.

You can't pull it off. But I don't, I don't really watch it anymore. But not sure what my point was on that one.

Yeah. It's been films, but as I said, I didn't, I refused to watch because I thought they'd be rubbish because they were so popular. I just refused to watch them.

One such film was Pulp Fiction. And when I did watch it, I was blown away at how brilliant it was. And I would say it's dated now.

It's not gone dating. It's date, you know, it was 1994, I think, when it was released. And it's a long time ago now.

26 years, 27 years. It feels dated. But at the time, it really was fresh.

It was honestly, it was nearly as fresh as some of the farts I produce. It was fresh. And I remember thinking, wow, I should have just watched this.

But then there's been other films that I didn't watch. There's a couple that was so popular. And I have seen them even to this day, I'm not really a fan of either of these two films.

And both of them were absolutely huge movies. And the songs connected to the movies. Well, I imagine helped with the movies being popular as well.

Because the songs were massive hits. First one is Titanic. And the second one is Dancing with Wolves.

And wait a minute, what song did that have? Dancing with Wolves? Or was it Robin Hood? Dancing with Wolves. What was the song for that? Anyway, that's a film I didn't like, didn't watch. And I tried to watch it, didn't like it really.

Dances. Dances with Wolves. Music.

Well, maybe there wasn't. Looks. Oh, well, maybe it wasn't.

But obviously Titanic. That was, you know, the music for that. I really liked the song.

And you know, I liked, I liked how Leonardo, I liked how his character, you know, ended. That was nice. But I don't know.

It's one of those things like, you know, when you know the ending before you start watching it. That's kind of like the Titanic, you know, I've grown up hearing about this stupid boat. And I know what happens.

So I don't watch World War Two films, because I know what the ending is. There's no surprise endings. Plus, again, going back to age, anyone my age, if you think back, if you were in England, I don't know about other parts of the country or parts of the Commonwealth or whatever.

But because here we have different television for different regions. So Scotland has different television, I think. I think Wales does as well.

I think. But there's so many World War Two films, like the Dirty Dozen. And every Sunday afternoon, it went from being cowboy films, musicals, old musicals, and then World War Two films.

That was kind of the genre, those three. So, oh man, and I just, yeah, I had, I'd watched enough. I'd never really, and I know there's been a lot of really good ones, films made since, but I don't really find it entertaining either.

I don't think war is really an entertaining subject, personally. Just me on that one, probably. What other films? Gladiator.

Wasn't really impressed to watch that, but when I did, I loved it. Great film. And there's a couple that I really did want to watch, and when I watched them, I loved, loved the film.

Trying to think. It's hard to really pinpoint, because I kind of watched most films, I think. Okay, there's lots of horror films I've not watched.

I used to be up to date with horror films, but it's hard, it's hard to know which ones are any good, and I just watched one that was really, really good. But it wasn't, it was a horror film, but it wasn't really, it was a comedy horror called Villains. I literally just watched it, and it's very, very good.

It's funny in parts, and it's all, if it hadn't had any humour, it'd be, um, yeah, pretty dark. But because of the, the, the man in it, well, yeah, the actors, it made it quite funny. Yeah, um, let's try to think.

And there's a lot of films I don't think necessarily live up to the hype. Oh yeah, The Simpsons. I remember I had a friend, and he said, oh, he went to see it in a cinema, and was moaning about it, saying he didn't like it, and everything.

And from then on, I felt negative towards the film, and I didn't enjoy it when I did watch it. So I generally don't, I don't read reviews. I mean, I'd rather have, uh, listen to a reviewer who only says nice things about movies, but only, only talks about the movies that he or she has enjoyed, and doesn't talk about the ones they didn't enjoy.

That way, if you kind of, if I watch movies, and I like it as well, and they like it, it's like, okay, we've kind of got the same kind of taste. And then I can watch the reviews, or listen to their reviews on other films. And maybe I'll enjoy that too.

There was one good horror film called The Hunt, which is, it's very clever. And again, it's got humor, and everything. But comedies, it's hard with comedies, because it's not huge.

Comedy films don't seem to be produced as much as a drama stuff. They seem to be more popular than comedy. And I'm thinking it's possibly because there's less people that have the ability to do comedy.

To write a really good comedy script, compared to writing a dramatic script. So I'm guessing that would be a lot easier. Probably, you know, really hard, maybe.

But still, yeah, I imagine it'd be, it'd be harder to do a comedy script. I never, well, I did actually try once, years ago. But I got bored.

Fred Dubias, she was a TV director, actually. And she decided to, she was, she wrote a script that she wanted to be a sitcom. And she asked me to look over and add some bits and, you know, see if I can add some more jokes and stuff like that.

And I just couldn't be bothered. It's weird, you know, I was working earning, I don't know, two pound an hour, you know, literally just enough to get by. And I had this opportunity to improve my life in a way that was probably even, well, it was unimaginable to me because I didn't even try to imagine.

I put no effort into doing it. You know, this opportunity, this lady offered me at least three opportunities that I could have transformed my life at that time. And I didn't take her up on her offer for any of them.

Seriously, very weird of me, really. Maybe it was part of me, it is that self, that self sabotaging stuff. I'm trying to move away from move away slowly.

Yeah, she offered me, she basically she wanted to do a documentary on me. So at the time I was probably about 22. And I was doing a stand up comedy at night and working during the day, living in a little room.

And for some, we just became friends. She was doing some stand up comedy as well. And we started hanging out.

And she liked me. As for friends, there wasn't anything else going on there. And she's she honestly, she took me to some theater shows, to restaurants, showed me a different side to the world, I guess a different, a different perspective, a different I don't want to use a cliche like how the other half live.

Because it's not the other half, is it? percentages are less. But she worked hard to get where she was incredibly good at what she did. And she lived a nice life.

And I got a little taste, a little taste of going places. And I think she would get, because she was in the industry, she'd get tickets to shows and stuff like that. So she'd go along, she'd invite me and I ended up once having lunch in a really nice restaurant with the lead singer of the specials.

If you know the specials, they sung a song called this town, or was it ghost town, this town. It was a number one hit in the 80s. And I didn't know who he was.

And so just before she got, I think he went to the toilet, I said, Who is he? And she said, he's, you know, she explained who he was. He'd been in a few bands. He's very famous artist.

And from the 80s, and he was a big, a big influence on music. So I'm sitting opposite him. And I can't contribute to the conversation at all.

I got nothing to say. So she's talking to about what she's up to, you know, she's making a new film and talking about different things and common topics that they knew about. He's talking about maybe an album that he's doing or something.

I didn't have anything to say. I mean, I could talk about farting, I could talk about putting stickers on bits of meat. That's what I did during the day.

I didn't have any, you know, my life experience was really much like it is like this boringness. I wasn't doing I was doing the comedy, but that was I found out very early that people are not interested in hearing anything. Maybe it's because whatever I talk about sounds boring, the way I talk about it.

Maybe that's what it is. I don't know. That was another thing went to she had a gig at this art gallery opening exhibition.

And she was doing some comedy. And she felt a bit unwell. So I don't really want to do it.

And she asked me if I'd go on instead. So I said, All right. So I go on stage.

It's not really a stage, but it's an up, it was a thing built up. But there is probably 150 people there. And I forget his name now, but he used to be in a very same pet and spender.

Jimmy now, Jimmy now, is about eight foot tall. And he's really tall. In fact, you could see him.

And not everybody in the place was short. Yeah, he was head and shoulders above everybody in that place. Maybe he was wearing high heels.

I hope he's not listening to this. But and I was a fan of his big ups really. And I love the show spender that he did.

And it was also as a singer. He was in a very same pet. Yes, I was.

I was a fan. So I'm seeing him looking and he's standing there. I'm bombing.

I'm not really none of my jokes are really working. And all I want to do is point out that he's there. Now there might be some other famous people there.

But I didn't notice anyone because he is a formidable figure. And he looks exactly the same. As he does on telly, but he looks bigger.

And I say yeah, but the TV is only like 20 inches. No, no, it's not about the screen size. He just he doesn't he looks tall, but he doesn't look that tall on the telly.

In real life, very tall. And all I want to do is like, point out that he was there. But the kind of comedy I used to do is usually was quite rude, sometimes a bit confrontational.

And I really didn't want to be getting into confrontation with him. And so I just thought, Oh, I just want to say hello to him. I strange night.

Another time we went and saw when so what was his name? Oh, is it? I forget his name is she had tickets to the singer. I think it was in I can't remember where it was. South Bank, maybe but it was a theater anyway.

And he's a singer and he he was famous for a big song that he'd done. And he was so he so he gets on stage. Now, the theater is not for him.

For a lot of people, it's not full though. And he's standing there and he's singing and he starts talking to the audience and he he says to the to the audience, you can come at the front and stand at the front and dance. So he invited people to come down and so he could sing to them.

And I just never seen. I haven't really seen many famous singers in concert. So it was a different kind of it was different.

I mean, you know, it was it was a small concert in a sense of wasn't Wembley Arena, but then not place not many places are a lot of famous comedians and singers. They'll travel around the country performing in theaters, which hold maybe a couple of thousand people. And most of the theaters will hold maybe that amount.

And then they'll also do the big theaters, the ones that maybe hold 4000 and then might be do some stadiums that maybe hold 10, 20,000 people. But those stadium concerts are the ones that the performer is remembered for. They're the ones that are televised maybe.

Or, you know, recorded for their DVD. But they're not just performing all the time. I suppose it's different if they're like a big star.

It's different. Some big music star would perhaps be performing in stadiums wherever they go in different countries. And in some countries, I mean, I don't know how many stadiums are in America, but there's a lot.

I mean, there's a lot here as well. I mean, a lot of football grounds are used for concerts. And there's a lot of football grounds in the UK.

But I guess there's a limitation for weather because we have we don't have the bestest weather in the world. So yeah, anyway, apparently it's supposed to be quite warm, quite warm the next few days. So that would be interesting to see if it is in fact warm or warmer.

I did some washing yesterday. That was good. Went out, got my prescription, waited for about an hour for the bus back.
