Hello and welcome to jasonnewland.com. My name is Jason Newland. This is Let me bore you to sleep. Please only listen when you can safely close your eyes.

Yeah, eyes. So, a little experiment. I'm trying to see if I can increase the volume of the recording.

Now, I'm recording at a much louder volume of the mic. And I'm hoping in the editing I can remove the background humming. I'm hoping.

The only way to record it without the background humming is to record on a very, very low level. Which is not easy. It's just difficult to then get the volume up.

So, if I start loud and then reduce it a little bit, I still have a much louder recording than I had before. I think. I think so.

That's the plan. I'm playing with it. And I'm also, you know, trying to test out the microphone and the system and the whole thing.

As I'm actually recording. Because it's started to get on my nerves a bit, if I'm honest. Starting to annoy me.

Because I so want to produce decent quality sound. It's, I know it's not the, you know, the, I guess the quality of the content is more important than the quality of the sound. But I can't rely on the content.

I just want to have good sound. And part of this is, I just had a few complaints and a few, almost feels like little jibes. A little, like a little elbow in the rib kind of, over time.

It's like, I'm doing my best. I really am. And I even have someone was mocking me that I didn't know how to do sound engineering, Sebastian.

And I'm not a sound engineer. I'm not. You know, I know how to use computers, but I'm not a computer expert.

I don't know how to build a computer in order to use it. I just use it. I know how to, I know how to use a bar of soap.

I don't know how to make a bar of soap. And I can watch television, but I don't know how to make a television program or how to fix a television. You know, that's a weird noise, isn't it? See the microphone's picking up stuff.

It's picking up stuff from when I was a car outside. So the mic is so, I think for these recordings is it doesn't matter so much because I include the background sound in the actual recording. Hence Andre.

You know, I heard about talking to Andre. I was in bed. Again, a click.

Just from nowhere, a click. I was in bed earlier, just having a nap, a much needed nap. And Andre was climbing all over me.

He doesn't normally do that. Now I'd already given him his food, so he didn't need to eat, didn't need anything like that. And if he wanted to go out for a walk, that would be pointless because as soon as I took him out in the rain and the cold, he would want to come back in.

So that would be completely a pointless activity if that's what he was after, because he wouldn't want to be out there. But he was climbing all over me like he wanted something, but I didn't know what. So I cuddle him and stuff and eventually he lays down and then he gets restless and gets off and I don't see him again.

I mean, not ever, but not, you know, during that two hours or whatever that I was asleep. Then I get woken up, so I get up, answer the front door and then again Andre's sort of coming up to me and then he's walking away and I see that his nails are getting caught on the carpet. So he needs his nails cut, which is probably what he was coming to me for.

So I went and picked him up, went and got the nail clippers, laid him down on my lap and he just stayed there, just laid there. He doesn't do that, honestly, it's something he doesn't do unless he's completely... He does it sometimes if he's asleep and I pick him up and put him on my lap and he's so far gone, asleep, so deeply asleep that he almost doesn't notice it. And then I see him open his eyes and look at me and with disgust, like, what are you doing? Get off me! And he runs off.

You're not my real dad. You know, that kind of stuff. And I earlier, I had him lying there and he just lied there.

So I start doing his nails and he just lets me do it. But he's shaking. Now, admittedly, I've cut too far up and made him bleed a few times, but only when he's been wiggling about.

It's hard to cut a ferret's toenails when they're wiggling. Because first of all, if I'm holding his hand and he wiggles, he weighs enough that he could break his arm or his wrist easily. Because he just, you know, so I have to move with the movement that he's making.

Because he doesn't realize I'm going to be keep holding on to it. So he could really hurt himself doing that. So sometimes I have to end up moving with him and he gets snipped a little bit, just down the nail a bit too far.

So maybe that's what he was scared of. I don't know. But he just laid there, very still, did his nails.

And as soon as I'd finished, he was up. I sort of laid him down again. He didn't want to lay down anymore.

He got what he wanted. And that was it. So now he's not sticking to the carpet anymore.

And also the chances he can get stuck in his bedding. And it's horrible. I mean, I enjoy it, but he doesn't.

No, I don't. He, he'll scream because it's painful for him. So and that'll wake me up.

All the doors are open. So I'll hear him if that happens. And it has happened a few times.

But not, not lately. I think it's really cool that he actually let me know that he needed his nails cut. How groovy is that? Isn't it? Do you get me? It's a bit warm in here now.

A bit warm. If I was a failure, I would be able to swim. See, yeah, not a lot's happened today.

Yeah, not much, not much. I've been trying to work on the website and get it all updated, which is a task and a half. It ain't half a task and a half.

It's a proper, a proper constant. It's just, but when it's done, it's done. It's never going to be done.

But when it's updated to the point of being up to date, then I can then progress with it. So here's how the website's going to be. You hear that bang again? See, I don't.

The reason I'm hearing it is because I've got the headphones on. So I hear everything that you hear. Normally, the sound is much lower.

The pickup of the microphone is much lower. And because this microphone doesn't just focus on my voice, which is what I need. The background sounds are picked up.

So that's not, again, it's okay with this podcast, because the background is part of the thing, you know, kind of. But not when I'm doing some of the other stuff. I prefer to be silent when I'm doing the other recordings.

That's the ideal situation. I mean, just look, just moving my legs. I walked through the park earlier.

I couldn't believe it. It was flooded. So the pavement or the paving was flooded.

The pathway was flooded. And I knew, based on my knowledge of the park, that the grass on one side would be on the left hand side to be completely flooded. The grass on the right hand side would be flooded for about six foot, not six foot deep, but six foot, you know, from the pavement.

The pavement. So what I did is I walked around, gave myself plenty of space. I was practically near the edges of the park.

And I was still walking in water. So my shoes and my socks got soaked. I was also slipping because it was all muddy.

Not an enjoyable experience. It was, because it's dark, I couldn't really see. There are streetlights, but they're not bright, bright.

Because in the old days, let's go back 20 years, let's say, maybe less, streetlights used to be bright. And they used to be on all night. Maybe you've got to go back 30 years for that.

But there was a time when streetlights were on all night. And you could say, you know, how far were you willing to go back? There was a time when there was no streetlights. Yeah, I know.

So the streetlights now go off at about one o'clock. Because that's the time of night you want it to be pitch black. Early hours in the morning.

Yep. It's like ridiculous. Okay.

Am I, are we not paying for this? I say we, you know, people, other people, are other people not paying for this? I mean, blimey. If I was a soldier. And personally, I do think they should be on all night.

That's my personal opinion. They should stay on all night for safety. You know, they're on in the evening, so people can see where they're going.

I think they should be on late evening and all night for safety. So people can not only see where they're going, they can also see who else is around. So the CCTV can actually pick up images.

You know, but there you go. Got contacted by my electric and gas company. Telling me, in fact, I think it was a text message as well.

They've been contacting me. And ironic, really. They won't once they don't send paper bills anymore.

Constantly sending letters though. You know, anyway, I think basically, the services get worse and worse. Because they're trying to cut jobs, I guess trying to cut the expenses.

You know, so they don't no longer have to have have less people working. You know, if they've got imagine, if a company that has millions of customers, no longer sends letters out to the customers, bills, you know, stuff like that. Then all those people that worked in the offices, doing admin, because I know a lot of it's, you know, it's computerized.

It's it's just, you know, the bills are just automatically printed, and they're, they get put into envelopes automatically. And they, you know, but, well, maybe they might have an automatic cranking machine that puts the stamp on. But there's always people that's needed in those kind of places to do that work.

Administrators, so they've cut down. I'll be interested to know, not whether they laid people off, but they just haven't replaced people over the last few years. I think it's a shame.

I understand it's a, they're not public companies, are they? They're not what might be public companies were not owned by the government or run by the government. They've got shareholders and stuff. So I suppose every little bit helps, doesn't it every little bit of money they can save.

goes in the pocket of shareholders. Maybe. I don't know enough about it.

But it won't stop me complaining. So yeah, I started sending me these messages. Dear Mr. Newland, you agreed when you set up your new tariff, that you would have a smart meter installed.

Now, I did agree to that. However, the new tariff that I agreed to, I cancelled. Because they, I decided I didn't want it.

Decided I didn't want the meter, decided I didn't want, didn't like the way they were organizing things. And they forced me to do a direct debit and all this stuff. And I thought, you know what? And also, they charged me more, they took money out of my account, more than they said they were going to.

So I cancelled, I said, I'm cancelling that. I've already cancelled the direct debit with the bank because you tried. They tried to take money out of my account.

And there was no money in there. So my bank contacted me. So I said, Okay, cancel that direct debit.

I called them up. I said, cancel it your end as well. I've cancelled it my end and cancel the new tariff that you gave me, which was supposed to be cheaper for two years, like, you know, doesn't go above a certain amount, a month, 66 pounds or something.

That's a weird noise. And they did it, they said, Okay. And then I said, I want to go back to monthly payments, we get a bill.

We don't send out baby bills anymore, sir. Okay. So I get the bill online.

Although, the app stopped working. So I don't know what's going on there. But I think they'll probably just send me a text message of how much it is.

And I can just pay it on my, you know, my bank app, which is what I normally do anyway. And then, yeah, they changed my monthly bill to quarterly. And I said to them, I don't want that.

I want it monthly. I'm the customer. And we can't do monthly.

I said, I've been monthly for five years. Really? We can't change it once it's been changed. I said, that's not correct either, because it's happened before.

You automatically changed me to quarterly about a year ago, without any, you know, any whatever contact any permission or anything like that. I called up and you changed it back to monthly. Oh, really, Mr. Newland? Yes, really.

So you know, but this time, they said, Yeah, yeah, definitely gonna do it. I said, are you going to put it in your system? I will put it in the system. I said, you're gonna send me a text message, or an email to confirm that you're putting it back to monthly.

Oh, no, no, no. That's fine. It's all done.

So I assumed it was and then I got a bill. In fact, I didn't get a bill that month. And I was thinking why haven't I not got a bill.

So I went online. And I was, they put me at quarterly. And I tried to phone about five times and I can't get through to them.

And now they're texting me saying, you, you promised us, you promised that you'd have a one of those smart meters. You promised us, don't let us down. We'd be looking ever so forward to putting it in and you know, for you to have a smart meter.

I'd be really ever so disappointed. Can you please get back to us and let us know when we can install it. Thank you very much.

Love you. And at the end of it, he said, if you don't want a smart meter, then please reply with no. Well, I replied with no.

I replied with no. And I couldn't reply because I had no credit on my phone. Because I didn't have, I was a day late putting the five pound credit on so I could use my phone.

But luckily, I did it today. And I didn't lose all me free bonus stuff that I've got on my phone monthly thing. So that was good.

I was pleased about that. And then I sent a message no back to the knobbies. So I think someone said to me, well, why wouldn't you want, why wouldn't you want a smart meter? Because then you can see how much you're using.

Exactly. Exactly. I don't want to see how much electricity I'm using.

Just in the same way as I don't want to have a watch on my wrist, or big clock on my wall that's counting down the days I have left on the planet. You know, I don't I don't want to know that. I prefer not to know if it's okay.

I do not want an electric meter thing sitting there while I'm watching television. Ticking up, you know, oh, it's now another pound more going having a bath, or you know, having the kettle boiling. Sometimes I like to let it boil and do over and over again about 17 times.

It's just just a hobby. I don't want to sort of see the keep growing and growing and growing. I can understand from a from a perspective of planning.

You know, so you can plan on I know what the build is going to be. I do. I understand that.

It's a from that perspective. It's really good. But I live on my own.

I kind of got an idea what the bill is going to be. I know there's a certain level it's not going to go over. Because I'm living on my own.

In the winter, it's higher in the summer, it's lower. Simple as that. And I'm not bothered.

It's complaining about electricity and gas bills is this is the same as complaining about the weather. There's nothing we can do about the weather. Oh, it's Thursday.

Yeah, it's Thursday. There's nothing you can do about the day. It's Thursday.

Just move on. Just you know, that's how I see what bills of course preparing for them is useful. And I always plan on bills.

I'm not behind on anything. I want to be a hero. Come on, let's all sing it together.

This hero, if you look inside your heart, you don't have to be afraid of what you are. So I don't want a smart meter. And secondly, secondly, the reason why they want us to have smart meters, these electric and gas companies is because it means they have never got to come out to our houses, our apartments, wherever and check the meters to see you know what the meter reading is, because it automatically gets sent to them.

Now, for me, what that means is that somebody's job 1000s and 1000s of jobs around the country will either be gone or not replaced. If everybody has a smart meter, that job of the person that comes round, you know, maybe twice a year to read the meters maybe once a year. But still, you know, there's millions of houses.

So that's probably 1000s of jobs that won't be replaced, or be gone. Again, it might be wrong here, but I might not. I mean, even now with the app, I mean with the app on the app, it's not worked lately, but I went on there last time I went on there and it said, yeah, it's time for you to put in your latest meter readings.

I've got to do that myself, have I? I've got to go out into the garden, in the cold, in the rain with a torch and try and read those tiny little, you know, numbers. Am I getting a discount for this? Are you paying me to do that? So they want me and, you know, everyone else, I guess, to do the work for them. The thing that we are paying them for.

We're paying them to do the work. We're paying them, yeah, we're doing the work. That seems absolutely pointless.

That's like trying to teach a teenage boy to masturbate. Come on, it's ridiculous. This doesn't need to be done.

You know, it's absolutely, stop it. Right, look Stevie, you're 14 now. I think it's time that we told you about something that you might not be aware of.

No, might not be aware of, okay. I just, electric and gas companies. I don't know, yeah, the council had this, I told, I mentioned this.

They wanted the electrician to come in here and spend two hours, or an hour or whatever, going to the house to house. So I'm in here supposed to not leave my house. Apart from essentials, which is what I'm doing.

I'm sticking to it. Yeah, I have to have people, complete strangers that are going house to house, coming in here and spreading their germs all over my germs. There's only room enough in my flat for mine and Andre's germs, no one else's.

I don't want them all kind of mixing together and having a weird hypnotist. Yeah, a hypnotist, electrician, and ferret mixed germ running around. That'd be weird.

Anyway, what else can I moan about? Oh, he must not quite like a kebab. Here's a message is another text message I got right. This is from the bus company, the local bus company.

I say local, it covers the whole country, but the whole area. Hi, Jason. That's very personable, isn't it? As lockdown continues, we want to keep our focus firmly on keeping all of our customers and colleagues safe whilst traveling with us.

All of our safety measures are in place to keep you protected and ensure we are following governmental guidance. So this is what's going through essential journeys only. Our services are running to ensure essential journeys can be made and key workers can travel when required.

In line with the government guidance, you should not be traveling unless it is essential. You have to clench your fist when you do that. Essential.

More information on timetables are available on our website right here. So okay, wearing masks. It is a legal requirement to wear a mask when using public transport.

Unless you are exempt in line with the government guidance, please ensure a face covering is worn for the entire journey and that it covers your nose and mouth to help stop the spread of the vermin. Verbal guidance can be found here. Fair enough.

But essential journeys only. What is an essential journey only? I really want to go into town and get a burger, but I don't know if they'll be open. Cashless payments to help stop the spread of the virus and to help protect our customers and colleagues on board.

We kindly request that wherever possible you do not pay with cash. Alternative ways to pay include First Bus app. Not only can you buy your tickets in advance, but you can plan your journey.

Check live bus times, track your bus and check live seat capacity. If you haven't got it, you can download it here. And this is the last bit.

Pay contactless. To avoid handling cash, go contactless and pay either with a contactless card, Google or Apple Pay. See our website for more details.

As always, we will continue to review the government guidelines to ensure we provide the best possible service for our customers. Travel safe. Next Wednesday is the next delivery I can get.

Unless, let me just check to see if there's any and you've come free. Logging in. Come on, book a slot.

Friday, nothing. Saturday, nothing. Sunday, nothing.

Monday, nothing. Tuesday, nothing. Wednesday, I have a delivery slot booked but nothing other than that is available.

Next Thursday, nothing. So people are really going to town and booking up all the slots. Like during the last lockdown, this is the third one now, we didn't, there's still, I could still get deliveries.

I managed to get a slot for next Wednesday. And the supermarkets taking advantage of the situation as well. Because instead of £1 or £2, £1.50 for delivery, they're charging £4 or £4.50. So double the costs, if not more of the delivery charges.

So they're taking the piss basically, taking advantage of people. I'm not a fan of that. No, because people are getting deliveries, especially if there ain't that many available, are probably going to spend more money on that delivery than they would normally if they were buying weekly.

So yeah, I'm going to have to see how it goes. But it's nearly a week before I get the delivery. So between now and then, I'm just going to have to get by on local stuff, you know, the garage and local shop and, which is not so bad in the summer during the first lockdown, because it was a summer and I didn't need all that much in the way of food.

You know, not that I need that much more now, but I don't think I had any cooked food pretty much hardly during that time. Hmm. Yeah.

Would you like to swing on a star? Carry moonbeams home in a jar? And be better off than you are? Or would you rather be a... So yeah there is not a lot going on really, my christmas tree is still up, that was a pointless purchase, that was absolutely pointless, it really was, it wasn't cheap either, I got it from the catalogue, or did I, no I got it from the same, did I get it from the supermarket?

In December, and I'm going to put it in a box at some point, but there's stuff I need to do before that, I need to finish that bottle of wine, I bought a bottle of wine about a week ago, and it's still a little bit in the bottom, and I just, I think I had about a glass and then I didn't drink any more, then another glass a couple of days later, and I had a little swig, in fact I'm going to have a swig of it now, you can hear it, every single sound, it's

a bottle of wine, it is, and you know I don't drink, so this is the first bit of alcohol I've had for, getting on to a year I'd say, nearly, it is bin 161 Shiraz 2020, so it's a good vintage, by Hardee's, recommended retail price £5.

99, and a two, let's see if the, hello there, I'd like to tell you a story, if you haven't watched Cobra Kai yet, and it's on Netflix, and if you're, if you haven't watched it at all, then I suggest you watch it, if you're a fan of the Karate Kid films, if you've watched the first two seasons, then the third one is available to stream, the whole season, it's really good, so it's a bit silly, but one of the things I like about it, and there's not, I don't find there's that much to be nostalgic

about these days, it's almost like the past never happened, so in a way, I sometimes wonder if the way it's going, that statue of Rolf, that statue of Rolf Burke, I can't say the words, Rolf Harris' statue will probably be taken down at some point, I was on the Rolf Harris show when I was a kid, showed no interest in me, and yeah my whole school, that's true, my whole school, if you go on, if you go on to YouTube, and you put in Colneys school Rolf Harris show, you'll see me on there as a

kid, Colneys is C-O-L-N-I-E-S I think, school, it might say Colneys junior school, and Rolf Harris show, it's the whole recording, the whole video of the TV show, it starts off with him, Rolf Harris rowing towards Felix Stowe's beach, or something, in a row boat, and ironic, well not ironic really, but the actual filming was not filmed in my town, they had a big school fitted out with cameras and all kinds of stuff, so they, I guess they just had people, kids from other schools to go to the same place, but it was one of the

best days of my, I say one of them, probably was the best day of my childhood, probably was, the best day, it was exciting, it was fun, it was, it was really brilliant, it was absolutely brilliant, so I wasn't with my family, which was nice, day off from them, they were excited about me being on television, so that was nice, yeah the whole thing was brilliant, absolutely loved it, got to meet Rolf Harris, got to see Keith Harris and Orville in Cuddles, and Dollar was the band that were playing, Dollar, they were really big at

the time, so we're looking at probably about nine, I was nine or ten, so it was either 79 or 1980, 1979 and 1980, one of them, not sure which, and one of the songs was, oh I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts, there we are, and I remember I kept saying Rolf, it's nice, you haven't got to keep rehearsing with me, we have to keep rehearsing the songs, I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts, oh there they are, standing in a row, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen,

fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, eighteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen, nineteen And they let us wallow in glorious mud, yeah, and I can't remember

what other songs but we were rehearsing for months at school for this thing, it was great, brilliant, brilliant, brilliant, Yeah, it's, I've watched it, right, and I can't see myself, I think it's me but I'm not sure, and part of the reason is because I've got no pictures of me as a child, there's no pictures for me to look at, that I can say, oh, because I don't look the same now as I did back then, and some might say, well of course you don't, you're a fifty year old man now, it's forty years ago

isn't it, yeah, but my little brother's got the same face he was born with, Drew Barrymore, same face now that she had when she was six, can't argue with that, it's a simple fact, look at a picture of Drew Barrymore in E.

T.

, or Firestarter, or some of the other films that she was in when she was little, and have a look at a picture of her now, same face, it's the same face, it's got to be a different face isn't it, you know what I mean, it's the same face, I don't have the same face as I had when I was a kid, it should look a lot different, but my little brother, same face, same face as when he was eight, and that's not an insult at all, it's just he's got the same characteristics in his

face as he did have when he was eight, of course he doesn't look the same as he did when he was eight, exactly the same, he's bigger, but he's got the same face, he was born with that face and it stayed the same, it's almost I think a case of with him and Drew Barrymore and probably some others is, their face was just so perfect when they were born, it didn't need to change, see, I got myself out of that, so if my brother hears this he'll be like oh yeah that's nice, my face was

so perfect, it didn't need to develop.

Same size head, oh this wine, I just got me coughing then, I don't know why I've edited that out, I try not to leave, you know if I cough, I thought I was going to cough again, if I cough then I, I don't know why I've edited that out, I try not to leave, you know if I cough, I thought I was going to cough again, if I cough then I, I don't know why I've edited that out, I try not to leave, you know if I cough, I try not to leave, you know if

I cough, I try not to leave, you know if I cough, I try not to leave, you know if I cough, I try not to leave, you know if I cough, I try not to leave, you know if I cough, I try not to leave, you know if I cough, I try not to leave, you know if I cough, I try not to leave, you know if I cough, I try not to leave, you know if I cough It's too loud, I have to edit it out, plus it's, I mean however enjoyable it is listening

to someone coughing, I think it distracts things a little bit, just slightly OK, I'd like some feedback if possible, on a recording I did yesterday, if you don't mind, oh for fuck's sake, what's that 30, 27 OK, 294, what day is it, 15th?

600, OK, I'm just trying to find it, oh it hasn't been a brilliant day today, I've only had 5,438 downloads But then this is the first recording of the day, so it's not too bad I guess, so, where are we, let me entertain you I did a recording yesterday, there it is, number 222, relaxation hypnosis for stress, rehearsing, feeling OK Jason Newland, 13th January 2021, with music, tilted audio, Paul Morris, now Paul contacted me a while ago, and offered to do a bit of music for the background of one of my recordings So I said,

Groovy, let's do it, and he did it, and yeah, so I added it to the recording, I had to reduce the sound of the music because it was way louder than my voice Some would say, well that's a good thing, stop being rude, and so what I did is, I tried to edit it as best as possible, it seemed to come out OK And so I uploaded it, so yesterday I had 483 downloads on that specific podcast, 483, oh come on Oh, sleep and relax, it had 249 downloads, that's on the sleep and relax hypnosis

with music podcast And, relaxation hypnosis podcast, 19, so I don't get a huge amount of downloads on that one And the Jason Newland hypnosis, free hypnosis service podcast, I had 35, so although I'll get hundreds of downloads sometimes on that podcast, it's still a quiet one And, it spread out, there's a lot of episodes, nearly a thousand on there And that was it, I couldn't share anywhere else because it wasn't, it was a relaxation specifically, it wasn't for sleeping, so I didn't share it on the sleep podcast Now, oh, turning off the stress magnet, OK,

so yeah, so that's just what I'd like to let you know, it's quite cool, thank you Paul It's nice to see you do something different, I never really know how things are gonna, you know, what will it, you know what I mean Do I mumble?

Because someone said the other day that I mumble, they said, oh, something like, you're never gonna be famous, all you do is mumble, but I'm not here to be famous, I'm already famous Well, I, yeah, I'm already, I'm not already famous, I'm already, for me it's not about being famous, I don't wanna be famous But it's only two benefits that I can see from being famous, only two, one is money, and the second is being able to date people that are way better good looking than you That's the, that's the two benefits of being famous,

that's it, I can't think of any, I suppose, if you went further you could say, well, influence, if you decided you wanted to raise money for charity, you could have influence over that and you could help a lot more people, etc So yeah, there's those, but the two main ones, money and, for me, being able to date women way out of my league, but I've done that in the past anyway, so, not such a big deal really, not a big deal, it was easy So that's the only two things I can see, the benefit, and

being famous in these days, this day and age, with the internet, social media, being famous doesn't necessarily mean being rich either, you could be well known I know these people that were, spent ten years on Coronation Street, you know, big soap in the country, TV, soap opera, spent ten years as a star on Coronation Street, and then they lost their job or left or whatever, and lost their money, maybe bad investments or they got ripped off or whatever, or just ran out of money And now signing on, unemployment, have no money to spare, living on

practically nothing, but they're still famous, there's not one part of the country that that person, there's more than one of these people, there's not one part of the country that that person couldn't go without being noticed Probably people would ask for autographs or call him by his character's name Yet, he hasn't worked for ten years, maybe, I'm just thinking, I'm doing, I'm thinking of a couple of people so I'm just mixing them together, I'm not going to name a specific person And you know what, they're famous still, they're always going to be famous, doesn't mean

they're going to have any money You know, Phil Mitchell from EastEnders, he's been in the show long enough that he, I imagine he's very wealthy, but if he's a gambler, he may not have anything You know, just as an example, gamblers, majority of gamblers have nothing because they lose continuously, maybe the odd win, most gamblers lose, they don't win, some gamblers seem to know what they're doing But I'm thinking of Sid James, Sidney James is one of the biggest stars in the history of this country, film wise, with the carry on films, and he was

a household name, and he was funny, but he was a gambler Which meant, he was always borrowing money off people so he could put bets on, gamblers generally don't have any money, don't marry a gambler, unless of course they do have money, you might not care about money But what's going to happen when they run out of their own money, they still need to gamble, because it's a serious condition, they're not gambling Wow, what other things, I have no idea what I'm talking about, what am I talking about, I never do but I'm just out

of curiosity, there must be some point to this What am I talking about, gambling, I'm not a gambler, but I can see where some people are, I mean if I was watching, I love boxing But I'm pretty sure I'd have way more interest in the outcome of the fight if I had a bet on the outcome of the fight When generally, it's quite simple that I want the person that I like to win, usually, but the more you get into boxing, the more you find out about people, the more people you get to like and

admire To the point where you have people fighting each other, that you like both of them, that makes it a little bit more complicated Yeah, is anyone going to go?

Thank you for listening and please remember to be kind to yourself because you deserve to be happy, lots of love, bye
