Hello and welcome to let me bore you to sleep. My name is Jason Newland and please only listen to this when you can safely close your eyes. Now, I'm recording this at 11.47am on Sunday the 20th of September 2020.
The reason I'm mentioning the time is because it's a bit warm in here and I had the windows open and it's also a bit stinky because I've been cleaning the carpets and it's weird but as the carpets clean they stink a little bit. They're okay after a couple of days but just it's a bit kind of makes me cough and sneeze a little bit so I've had the windows open today. But now they're closed I'm a little bit worried I'm going to be coughing.
That was a little bit of a dramatic cough if I'm honest but you know I don't know how fake or false it was but yeah so I've got the windows closed, I've got the curtains drawn, I've got the kitchen window closed and the bathroom window closed but I do have a ferret that isn't closed and he's running around. He's literally just woken up and he's got a new place that he sleeps. So in my shed there's some, I don't want to call them uh throws, big white throws I've had for years, big old things and what I've done is I have nailed them to the front of the shed so it goes over so when I'm in there the door's closed but it's also got an extra layer with these two throws.
When the shed's not being used I pull the throws over a little bit so it's a bit open. Well Andre's discovered the throws, oh my voice is going now, great. Andre has discovered it's really comfortable to sleep on the throws because they're very long so there's lots of it on the floor and he was there all night and wow I don't know why I'm telling you that.
What am I telling you all this exciting stuff? I don't know. Oh do you hear that? It's my tummy. Sounds like the wind.
It's warm in here. I might have to take my t-shirt off. I'm not even joking.
I'm gonna undo it up a little bit, do it up and pull it up. So basically you have it like a, is it a crop top? You know when your boobies are just covered but the tummy's uncovered. That's what I've got now.
So my tits are covered up but my hairy belly is hairy belly. That sounds like Mary Berry doesn't it? Hairy belly. I might stop calling her that.
Anyway So it's lovely outside. My stomach's making a weird noise again. What's going on? I don't know.
The thing is I can hear it but I don't know whether you can hear it or not. So there's been a few changes. A few few changes and one of those changes is that I got rid of the website, the podcast which I am, oh it stings in here.
I might have to open the window. I'm not even joking. It's really stuffy and the carpet just needs to dry out.
The thing is the carpet cleaner I've got, use water, you know it's proper, it's a good machine. I have to be really careful with it because I've already broken one. So this is the second machine I've had this year but I now know how to how to treat it.
That makes sense. I know how to be careful and part of the reason the first one broke is because the carpet's so ripped up by Andre, frayed and bits of carpet sticking up in it. It basically mangled itself within the machine and broke the broke the thing.
And what I do now is first of all I avoid those places where the carpet's like that. Wow. I wonder if if I eat a banana my stomach will just like quieten down or eat something.
It's very strange. I'm going to leave it in though. This can be like a double act between me and my stomach acid I guess.
So I yeah now I can tell when the machine is a little bit troubled and I turn it off and I remove any hair fragments that have got tangled. So it's just about being really careful and mindful when I use it because I think it cost me about 140 pound and bearing in mind I lost the last one. It's too much to lose.
I can't be affording to lose that amount of money. At the same time it's really important I had one because the carpets need cleaning every week and I've been lax on it. And it's not it's not Andre's fault but you know he's just untrainable.
Trust me I've tried but you know there's a point there's no point shouting at him is there or moaning at him or Andre shut up. I'll tell you what I'm going to do. I'm going to put you on hold for a second and I'm going to eat a banana and now I'm back.
I just had myself a banana and I've had to open the window which means there'll probably be a little bit of background sound and I can't avoid it. It's just you know I mean normally I close the windows when I do a recording but the stuffiness in here is making it hard to talk. It really is and so in the bedroom it's weird I tell you what's weird is I did the living I did the cleaned the hallway like near the front door didn't notice any smell because I don't spend time there.
You know I go there I turn the light when I'm about to go out turn the light on you know I'll put my jacket on make sure I'm not showing too much cleavage you know just that kind of stuff. Make sure there's no bogies up my nose make sure I look presentable not too much spinach between my teeth and then I go out and when I get back in it's the same kind of thing you know so I don't spend that much time sometimes I do a few hand stands but I don't spend that much time in the hallway.
In the bedroom I've had the window open since I did the clean the carpet in the bedroom so I've not noticed any smell in there but here I've done two big parts of the carpet just in one room so it's more noticeable and and the thing is I'm sitting well not now but when I sit in my big black squeaky dirty folding apart chair the I'm right in front of where the the carpet is I'm on top of the carpet but the carpet I'm on the carpet I'm not floating but the the bit behind me
on on the floor that bit is the bit that's been cleaned so it's kind of wafting up a little bit and then the other side of the room is where the other bit's done the whole big patch so I'm going to need to have the window open I mean what I might do is invest in a hair dryer and maybe dry it off manually after cleaning it so that might maybe that might be a better way to do it so it dries off and you know doesn't let off such a it might be because it's
taking so long to dry that it's stinking a bit but it won't stink after it's dried that's the thing about it it's I think it's a bit like a wet dog you know dog it's only when a dog's wet that they smell like a wet dog but once they're dry again they don't smell like a wet dog that makes sense to me so I do okay before I go any further about the website I've just got a message from Roge and let me have a look okay one message from Rachel was hi the new website
didn't work properly according to some oh no wait a minute can I listen to your podcast on Podbeam without downloading the app it's telling me I have to download it to listen so I did reply saying yes you can just press play on the episode this is something I've covered over the last week I've been talking about this press and play doesn't work your old site is better and great and I posted the new website didn't work properly according to some reviews so I've reverted back to my original site there's a bit of work to
do but all sessions will be available to stream advert free that will be better and cheaper for you to know it's more expensive actually sorry to hear that but there's no way to know so I didn't I've not told anyone about the the cost that I think of the podcast nothing is free my dear nothing is free it's apart from me so it's yeah I think that's about it I did have a message on had a message from Lawrence which says by the way I know wait a minute this is uh yeah I have to
ask you please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks you sound like Steve Jones it's truly uncanny as if you're his voice doppelganger I truly love what you're doing mate it's been working well what part of the world are you living in thank you never change mate Lawrence uh I'll just write back hi Lawrence I'm not him honest thank you for your kind words I'm from the UK and then he says by the way I do fall asleep but sometimes I find myself staying awake to hear what you have to say next this
is such an odd experience I feel like I'm getting to know someone who has no idea who I am so weird and I reply who are you why do you keep contacting me I don't I say cool I get told that sometimes as long as you're okay with it I also do other sleep podcasts that are more focused just search Jason Newland sleep hypnosis which um is a good a good point if you're I do have other stuff online it's not all just me rambling on about myself and um I do have other stuff and
you don't need my website to find this stuff just google my name just google Jason Newland sleep hypnosis I'm everywhere I'm all over the internet I'm all on podcasts loads of different podcasts if you use a specific podcast supplier as in Spotify or Stitch in or Google podcasts or Apple podcasts okay just put my name in Jason Newland N-E-W-L-A-N-D and you should find lots of different podcasts for me and I'm not on every single one not all of my podcasts on every single one and perhaps I could do a little bit of work to get
that rectified but still a heck of a lot and so the sleep hypnosis podcasts are the ones that are more prevalent online than even these sleep this let me boy to sleep podcast so it might be worth checking that stuff out because it's more serious it's not serious but it's more focused on relaxing your body and your mind and falling asleep as I clean my throat lovely I feel like I've got dust just being blown in my face so there is more out there than these let me boy to sleep recordings I guess it's just
because I've done so many of these again I've nearly done 500 can you believe that it might seem like that's all I do but I do a lot of other stuff as well and there are thousands of other recordings out there that are not related to the boring stuff that I do so there's also the relaxation for stress and anxiety podcast so there's quite a few relaxation sessions there that also are sleep as well so relaxation and sleep and what I often say on them is at the beginning that there'll be two versions one with
and one without music so some people like to listen with background music some don't so I do two versions and also if you're listening for relaxation purposes only and you don't want to fall asleep or you don't want to be you've got something to do later then I advise setting your alarm so maybe you're listening to the two-hour relaxation session with music you can set your alarm for an hour's time if you've got to be somewhere otherwise there's a good chance you'll fall asleep because it's I don't know I'm quite boring I suppose it's more
to it than being boring I like to say that but it's they are relaxing they calm and when you're lying down on your bed and you're not doing anything but just listening to me or maybe you're listening to the background music you're automatically getting to that mode of falling asleep just relaxing deeply so yeah might be useful it's worth testing though because you know sometimes there's some people listen to these recordings and let me bore you to sleep for more than going to sleep and that's what I'm told I'm not going on my own opinion
it's what I've been told over the years and some of those reasons are because listening to me waffle on about whatever it is I talk about can be a distraction from your own mind and your own thoughts it can be a bit of light relief and sometimes that can be just as rewarding physically and emotionally as falling asleep plus there's more chance you fall asleep because you relax your body relaxes and your mind relaxes and also I'm never really saying anything particularly interesting not really and then you can you might find yourself drifting and that
I think that's natural because if I was sitting with you and you was in a chair and I was in a chair the other side of the room not this room because you'd be just thinking about the smell wondering has he has Jason changed his underpants this week it's not me it's the carpet yeah sure it is no it is really it's the carpet it's not me but it's wafting from your direction yeah but part the carpet next to me behind me that's been cleaned as well yeah course it has no it has so if
you was in a room with me and I was saying this stuff talking at you for an hour you're going to really want to close your eyes and probably really want to just go to sleep because I don't know about you but there's times in my life in the past when I've actually wanted to just to lay down on the floor and go to sleep and not being able to and sometimes that's because I'm trapped in a conversation that I don't want to have and I even though I do talk I can talk for forever
really I can't listen forever not actively I just I don't I think it's more because of the topics I don't really like listening to people talking unless it's a topic I'm interested in so if it's just a just a general human being talking about their life I generally have no interest but if it's uh here got the plane in the background but if it's a specific thing you know like on an audible and the recording is about procrastination or it's about psychology or it's a you know it's about a subject then I'm interested and I
will listen to that but if it's just I don't know someone moaning about their life and I just yeah I switch off and yeah so I think that's part the reason that I started doing these recordings in the first place because I've realized how boring it is to listen to somebody else talking about their interests if you're not interested in what they're saying and I try and stick to this it's not about being boring it's just the fact that or it might be the fact that somebody else's interests are not interesting to everybody else I
think that's the thing so you know I absolutely admire on a level on a certain level people that are into painting little soldiers or train spotting or you know I'm trying to think stamp collecting or those kinds of things that would have no as I have no interest at all in those things but people who do that stuff when they're doing it they're very happy just like that plane that's going past ever so happy it's not really ideal doing it with a window open but I told you at the beginning there's going to be a
bit of background sound and it's not ideal but it's either that or not make a recording so I prefer to make the recording I mean you know if the neighbors were outside sword fighting then I might I might turn the recording off you know hearing all that grunting and I don't know I don't know whatever sounds sword fighters make but on guard so the website is the process that's gone on I had people complaining about the adverts I had people on and off and just like okay got a little bit annoying so I thought what
I should have done really is just ignored it you know just accepted that I can't please everybody but no uncle JJ he wants to try and please every single person which is impossible as we all know but now I try to try to please everyone and so what I've tried to do is put together well I made a podcast with Podbean I had all of my stuff on there more than I have on my on the website I had you know currently at that time everything categorized everything all organized and I was quite pleased I
had to jump through hoops to get the website connected to my domain name there's lots of backward and forward oh it did cost money as well don't forget this this is not free you can't get a podcast host 1800 recordings for free it doesn't happen anywhere it just doesn't happen unless you well no unless anything just um I don't know is this my stuff sounds so amateurish that it's assumed that everything I offer doesn't cost me anything to run I think that might be the case I think some people might think that just just do
it for free get a free website almost as if what I do isn't worth investing in it's not a real thing you know it's just it's just a little a little hobby it's not it's not it's not this is not a hobby this is a full-time job if you allow it to be because it's never ending there's so much work goes involved goes involved goes into the whole thing not just making the recordings but the whole you know the editing uploading the sharing the making images the uh websites stuff it's just there's so much to
do and with each one and anyway what was my point my point is can't you use a free website people haven't used free websites probably for 18 years you can use free websites and blogger I don't know if it's still available but blogger is one but those free websites would give you you know the free website builders they're free because they want you to take and pay for like moon fruit is one that will give you a free website which would be probably two pages maybe a home page and an about page with limited capabilities
and functions and it's uh you know you build it on online and then if you want more stuff let's say for example if you've got thousands of recordings that you want to put on there then you'd need to pay money cash money to run it plus all the thousands of hours it takes to build the thing or hundreds of hours i'll probably be exaggerating there thousands of hours hundreds of hours sometimes depending on how big the website is i mean i've spent in the past well i have spent thousands of hours but not just on
one thing obviously because that would be ridiculous but i've spent weeks just making one change one design change on a website or one you know it could be something as far as the title is changing or images and stuff like that i've spent a lot of time doing that stuff so it's quite hard to give up a website when i've spent hundreds of hours putting it together and making it how i want it to be but i thought you know what i'm doing is podcasts these days and it might not be the same in the
future podcasts might have disappeared and i'll just still just be me again with my recordings but by then i'll have maybe i don't know five thousand ten thousand recordings and i'll have to find another way of presenting them to or allowing people to have them so it might be a case of just going back to allowing people to download them or paying to have them you know be able to be streamed like i currently do with the podcasts with Spreaker so i think there's a lot more going on behind the behind the curtains than most
people probably think so it's it's no it's not i'm not blaming anyone i can't be bothered to blame it's not a fault thing it's just although i do talk about it i do mention it but i don't know how much people actually take notice and also if i'm talking about it personally about some people are probably fast asleep by now because i bored them so much so they're not really hearing it anyway which is fine so i anyway i purchased this podcast with Podbean and i've been on there before i've used it a few times
and i always just cancel it i've had it probably 20 times probably if not more actually so a lot of my stuff is still saved on there so when i when i reopen it or pay for it to reinstall it's still got my stuff stayed on already stored i think there's a limit to how long they do it and then eventually i just clear it all but so there's still a fair bit of work to do when i uploaded it when i kind of reinstated it i still had probably about 100 maybe 150 recordings to
add maybe more i don't know maybe a couple of hundred so it was up it was all done and then i'll try to connect it first of all i connect it to i just had it as it was the podbean address so it's jason newlands noads at podbean.com or something and then i made images and stuff and you know sort to advertise it and then i then i then i then i added it to my jason newland podcast.com which is another website address i've got and then i changed that to have it as my jasonnewland.com
and then you know it took a while for me to get it connected and they had to do it for me because they had already frozen me connecting my website address to a domain name didn't tell me that they'd frozen it so i had to contact them to unfreeze it and then it was had to be www.
jasonnewland.com so it was almost like it's a different although it's the same address it's a different stuff in front of the the domain so it's just annoying anyway um and then then here's me thinking it's all going groovy you can listen and stream and everything's advert free i start getting complaints can't use it not working so well i won't say complaints just reviews i'm getting and i needed that i need i need people to tell me if something's not working i need it because otherwise i'm just sitting here oblivious i need need to hear that
stuff so it's however annoying it is it's useful it's only annoying because what i've done has not worked so i test it out i actually tested it out while i was doing a recording the other day and it wasn't working properly and then it did start working properly and then i had more people saying it's not working properly so and also there's a banner there was a banner above the at the top of the page saying listen to this by downloading the app if you download the app you got adverts okay so i was telling
people they could order thing at the top i looked into it to see how much it would cost to get rid of the the branding from pod bean uh it was something like 129 a month uh let me think so instead of paying 15 a month i was going to pay 129 to get rid of the branding um no no i think no is the right answer thank you very much so i got rid yeah i didn't do that i thought i'm just gonna leave it it's it's working i've tested it it's fine and then
i got more people who got more complaints and i'd had enough at that point so i got rid of it went back to the old website made loads of changes to it to make it okay again so spent two nights solid changing that website to make it compatible again because i've been playing around with it and looking at sort of how i could turn it into a business so i had to get rid of all the stuff that i'd done undo all the work that i'd done and then because i was going to have that
separate i was going to have the podcast jasonneerandpodcast.com with the podcast with no adverts i was going to have my website where you could download everything for a pound and continue with the you know the podcasts where everything's free with the adverts at the top only at the front the you know the beginning of the of the thing and then i'd change my mind on that after working on it and yeah anyway so i had to undo all that stuff and make that available in the meantime before i did that i was doing that and thinking this is going to take forever i
know what i'll do i'll start a different website i use a different host so i went to my domain manager the place that i that owns my domain that i've been with since 2000 actually it's been yeah 20 years with him and the i've got a website and it just wasn't working it's just it's like oh the whole idea of building a whole new website didn't it didn't tickle my tummy i just it just oh i just knew that i'd be obsessed with that for the next month trying to get that ready and i thought
no i don't want to do that i don't i don't want to spend ages on a website loads of times on doing that when i could be studying i could be learning more i could be doing more recordings and maybe helping more people so i got rid of that i cancelled that one this was yesterday and then i looked at my bank balance and realized that i didn't have enough money to cover both the website and the podcast because $72 is going out of my bank tomorrow for the podcast and another $29 is due to
go out tomorrow again for the website so i cancelled the website yesterday to avoid money going out and then i looked at it today and it said you can't open it again until it's been paid so you know even though it's tomorrow they're they clearly wanted to take money today so the website's not online the podcast's still fine everything's running well with that and that $72 is going out my account tomorrow but it wasn't enough there for the website and that as well so it's left me short on money but you know the podcast is
the number one thing the website do i even need a website i'm not selling anything i don't i don't even know how many people really take much notice of the website because if you put my name into google it's okay the website comes at the top generally but underneath that is all the different podcasts so that's really where i am i'm on the podcast that's what i'm about so i suppose the benefit of the websites is that i can get messages from people and other than that i suppose i could put advert free podcasts on
there for people to listen to you know what yeah i'm not sure yeah i don't know i might not bother i might just leave things as they are and because if you sign up if you're a member of i don't know if you're actually a paid member of any of the podcast suppliers you don't get adverts as far as i'm aware on spotify they don't i was told that if you're if you sign up for spotify you don't get adverts on your podcasts and so i might not bother with the website for a while i'm
still going to keep the domain name forever i've never had it 20 years we're not i've had i've had that domain name since i think it was 2004 but it might have been later it might be 2006 or 2005 but it's definitely you know a good um yeah at least probably 15 or 16 years i've had this domain name the jasonnewland.com and i'm going to keep it i'm never going to let that one go and it costs again it costs money it's not free it's i think it's about 50 quid a year so it's not
a lot of money i think it works out about 50 pound a year uh with tax maybe a little bit less so you know it's i don't know you know you know you know i don't know you know you know what i mean i don't know yeah i might just well i can't put the website back on because i can't
afford to so i haven't got the money for that so i might just some people say yeah but you got adverts doesn't that pay for it well i've got 50 dollars at the end of this month coming in from the adverts from two months ago and i've been playing with the adverts and i sometimes only have them on for a couple of days five days and i'll take them off so i've never i've never had a whole month of adverts ever so the 50 dollars at the end of this month will pay a little bit
towards the the podcast in october they won't cover the cost the full cost of that so yeah it's it's a weird one it's a strange strange setup but it's okay it's all right it's all groovy i mean the main thing really is that i'm making recordings that's really the most important thing and and really i know it's see these let me boy to sleep they're personal they're quiet is a different audience i think to what i have for the other podcasts but it's a much smaller audience to what i have for the other podcasts or
is it is it three six i don't know maybe it's not maybe it's not maybe it's a large one because it's spread out isn't it because in this podcast oh you can tell i'm going to do stats i'm gonna do stats yeah similar like just do stats or is it it might not be interesting but so far in i started november 2018 with this speaker podcast i've got uh i say speaker podcasts actually because i pay for the service and i can have as many podcasts as i want due to having like the maximum uh
subscription that i have so i pay as i said 72 a month and that's discounted so it might go up in january or november yeah november i guess or i hope not so since november 2018 and we're in september now 2020 i've got 1.
8 million downloads total downloads so 1 million 804 019 and so the let me bore you to sleep podcast has got 186 048 so it's quite a small amount and compared to the others not all of them there's a couple it's only it's only three or four got more but the top podcast i've got is hypnosis for sleeping deeply stats wise 355 808 and then i've got 339 727 and that's relaxation hypnosis for stress and anxiety which is just overtaken yeah it's just overtaken the sleep insomnia hypnosis which is 337 039 and then i've got
deep sleep whisper a game which is above that as well 251 785 785 200 no it's less it's less isn't it 251 yeah so 355 000 is the top one i've got and but where is it relaxation hypnosis for stress and anxiety 339 000 and i get over a thousand a day on there for that podcast sometimes 1800 to 1500 so it's it's consistently good like stats wise and yesterday 1533 today 544 so far but it's only midday and yeah 14 1694 so it goes averaging well over a thousand a day but sometimes it goes
a little bit lower thousand so sad on friday it went down to 965 but thursday 1201 so i didn't the last time i made a recording was on the 18th oh i did one two three on the 18th oh well so yeah it's a i can't wait i know i want i'm looking forward to the stats do something for me it makes my it tickles me tickle you know i mean it makes me freckles dance i'm just saying it just gives me gives me something and i like it and i do so i like and
i could do a real proper full statistic analysis if i was choose to do so by going and looking at the stats for every single podcast episode the ones that are shared on other podcasts and really work out because yeah and i'm reckon at one point i wonder how many i had i need to find out now sorry sorry about this i need to find out how many i've had so far this year so this is what i'm going to do so from january whoops go back oops just there's no room in that microphone i
need wish i could get one of those things from the ceiling so the microphone is just there in front of me rather than just at the side of me banging me banging me um so let's have a look let me go back to january january the first to september okay um all right it's not telling me i'll have to add it up so january 116 000 february 108 000 march 108 000 april 149 000 may 147 000 june 139 000 july 143 000 august hunt august i know july 139 000 august 143 000 september 85
000 so far so that's one two three four five six seven eight eight hundred ten twenty thirty so it's 240 90 i don't have a calculator 116 i'll do it 116 plus 108 108 149 147 137 139 143 85 so so far this year and it's the 20th of september i've done 1.
1 million or 1 million 132 000 downloads i've had so far this year that's all right i can't complain yeah dear jason i was really falling asleep and then you start banging your phone on the on the table why do you do that so yeah that's quite cool and i really hope i do so there's 1. 2 what we've got october november 57 so like 105 150 what did i say it was 1132 so plus 149 plus 149 plus 149 it's going to be 1. 5 million for this year probably if not more by the end of the year so 1.
5 which means i'll have hit the i'll have over 2 million overall or 2 million 300 000 something like that because i'm at 1.
8 now when i so that'll be good i'd like if i can if i can i'd like to reach well my target my target because on a good day i'd really go below 3 000 that's a bad day and that's usually when i haven't recorded anything at all for maybe a couple of days and i'll go below sometimes but 3 000 it's really really really rare that would go that low so average would be just under 5 000 probably about 5 000 that's if i do one a day maybe two go above that but if
i do one usually four and a half thousand between four and a half thousand to five thousand and then it will go up and up you know depending on how many recordings i do new ones and if i do a few it can go up to 6 000 plus i want my target is to hit 10 000 my target at the end of last year was to hit 10 000 and i didn't did get anywhere close my target all year this year has been to hit 10 000 a day regularly by the end of this
year i'm a lot closer than i was because on the best day i ever had last year probably would be a 4 000 so you know or three three three thousand would probably be a brilliant day for me last year this year three is a average so i'd still like to get to the 10 000 but you know what i should be able to sell for 8 000 and then maybe because there'll come a time if i continue doing it just just based on the fact that not many people listen to me you know these
are just tiny statistics compared to the world you know compared to the amount of people that listen to podcasts and it's a just tiny amount it's a lot to me you know one point what did i say and 1.
1 million so far was it 1. 3 million i don't know this year so that's that's a lot yeah it's a nice amount just the word million is quite cool but i set a target of 10 000 a day because then that's 10 000 a day is i think 3 000 a day is a million a year so 10 000 would be like three and a half million or something a year which is good let's work this 3 000 times by 10 000 times by 30 is 300 000 so 300 000 times by 10 3 million so 3.
6 million would be the the amount if i had 10 000 a day so 3. 6 million downloads a year that's a nice amount i mean i'm pretty much over halfway there in the sense of what i can do on a good day but and by the end of this year i will be halfway there pretty much i'll be about 1.
5 so there's only a little bit more to so i'll have to sort of double it plus a little bit more to get to that i still want to have 10 000 a day by the end of the year so maybe maybe maybe baby baby baby baby instead of being distracted by other things i could focus solely on making new recordings as well as maybe a bit of preparation for some of those recordings as well and be a bit more productive in the recording side of things rather than spending time on websites and designing things
and maybe spend a bit more time on things that are possibly more important which is helping people which is the whole point of why i was i've been doing this and the bigger audience the better because i the the audience amount that i've got so far is tiny compared to i guess how i will be in the future unless this is it maybe and i'm grateful for those that listen so maybe this is it no one else will ever listen ever again that'd be weird but i do go by the stats because it's important to
notice you know are people listening and what i noticed is with there's a little bit of stagnancy that can happen with a podcast if there's nothing new added and even by adding a new recording the stats on the other episodes seem to go up so all the podcasts need to be added new recordings really need to be added regularly maybe not every day but at least regularly to keep them from being stagnant and i do find that quite interesting i'm not sure why because i can add one recording to let's say relaxation hypnosis podcast relaxation
hypnosis with stress and anxiety i can add one recording there and the stats go up a lot just for one recording and it it well that was it it stimulates the growth it stimulates the growth of the podcast stimulates the healing so stops it from being stagnant so that's i don't like to think that my podcast is stagnant but maybe you know if i don't do anything but then also changing things up a bit which is why i was doing those fairy tales i did a while ago and intend to do some more because it's
nice to have something a bit different to listen to i think it's just um i'm doing everything on my ipad at the moment and that's what i used to use to watch to to read the stories out so i just need to figure another way of doing it yeah but it's going to work out absolutely groovily i've been quite lucky there's a dog barking now but it's in the distance and it's just time for us to finish anyway so thank you very much for listening remember remember to be kind to yourself because you deserve to
be happy lots of love bye
