Hello and welcome to jasonnewland.com My name is Jason Louisland This is let me lure you to sleep Please only listen when you can Safely close your eyes So I hope you're well And cool, that's it I've got a couple of messages Couple of messages Michelle says, what are we going to do to celebrate? What are we all going to do to celebrate my birthday? And I said, I'm going to sleep So that was that one What other messages? I've got a message that I haven't replied to yet and I do apologise I've sent a message to Molly Is it snowing there?
This is yesterday Because I saw on the news that it's been snowing in Australia But of course, it's not a small country is it?
So I don't know where everyone lives What part of the country people live And she replies, I wish just rain rain rain rain rain rain It's been cold as well You know what, I should say groovy I wasn't going to apply groovy I can't type and talk at the same time It's weird because Tonight is actually a bit chilly indoors Now I don't expect it to be warm outside End of August Because it's the 24th of August I don't expect it to be warm outside But maybe jacket weather Jumper weather Although it was raining earlier
However, it seemed colder indoors than outside And I've got a cardigan on And it's not at the level of needing a heating on But it's a level of I can kind of feel the chill Through my legs Through my tights Through my latex Rachel says Have you set a time for a live chat on Wednesday?
No I haven't Not yet Yeah, I don't know if I'm going to bother doing one I don't know The problem with doing a live Facebook broadcast Broadcast?

what Jacqueline said but what she's been through herself in her own life And I think It's not going to be the case for everybody but I imagine a huge percentage A large percentage of people That end up Devoting their life to helping others Maybe because of what they've been through themselves Not everybody, some people are just really nice I'm not particularly nice I suppose I just want to help I want to I think if you've got it in you If you want to do it Then you'll find a way For some people Giving money to
a charity is their way of helping And it's a brilliant way to help I know that there's a lot of negativity And I know people think that giving money to charities You shouldn't do it because it's a waste of money And hardly any of the money gets to the charity But if that was the case, if no money got to the charities There wouldn't be any charities And no one would ever get helped, millions of people get helped every day Through charities I know I've worked and volunteered with 1, 2, 3 4, 5, 6 7,
8 I'm trying to think offhand I've either worked or volunteered with At least 8 different charities And all of them help other people All of them help people I know people have their own opinions And it's very little interest to me When people are being negative towards charities The whole thing, charity begins at home Well you clearly don't understand what charity means then, do you?
Charity, I'm going to help my family out Charity begins at home No, helping your family is not charity It's something you do anyway You don't stop helping your family out because you're helping a charity I don't think people that say stuff like that Actually give it enough thought Maybe I've got enough time Maybe I've got too much time to think things through I struggle a little bit with these Nonsensical, just vomiting out Stuff that other people have been saying for decades My parents said it, therefore I must say it I must believe what they think Because they're my parents Well, I was lucky From one angle My mother, I didn't...
Last time I saw my mum was just before I was 7 But I hadn't been living with her since I was 4 And so she didn't have Her attitude towards life All her beliefs were not passed on to me Because I also didn't see her for about a year and a half From the age of about 6 months old To 2 years old Something like that So I only had like 2 years with her It was a long 2 years, but it was 2 years Of course she would have had an effect, I never even
know what it is But I didn't have to absorb any of her thoughts because I wouldn't have understood them So I really only had I suppose I had like a step mum I suppose yeah, from the age of 7 And then my dad But I never really agreed with a lot of His opinions Didn't really agree with them It wasn't necessarily that his opinions were wrong They were, no, but everyone's entitled to their own Thoughts and stuff, belief systems But I, at quite an early age I liked to think for myself I went along with
other people Just to fit in But sometimes I'd go along and I'd think Why am I just sitting here, I'm not saying anything I'm just I was sat in a room with some Horrible people over the years, or maybe they weren't horrible people But they were saying horrible things And one of my best friends once, and he was putting me up I had nowhere to lay, I was homeless, so he let me stay at his So I was in a room with him, sleeping in a bed A separate bed, but 2 beds in the same
room And he pulled out this bunch of magazines Let me show you my magazine collection Now at that point I was feeling quite positive And optimistic, but it wasn't what I thought It was, I don't know Almost like a Klu Klux Klan Collection of magazines, the kind of things that You imagine the presents they give to their kids To read, or maybe Klu Klux Klan School, if there was a Klu Klux Klan school This would be the educational material, and he was reading it And he was saying I'm not a racist, I'm a racialist And
I just said, you're just an idiot I might not have said that because I needed somewhere to live But I did look through them Because I was intrigued And I just Couldn't believe what I was seeing And I was like, what really?
The idea that someone would work all day And hold themselves together And not say anything out of order And just be almost like a respectable part of society And when they get home, they pull out their magazines Or, you know, like that Almost just really seedy And yeah, just a bit disgusted really See, I don't mind humour Even the worst kind of humour I'm open to it, even the most disgusting topics You know, if it's a joke, even if I don't find it funny I'll say, yeah, okay, fair enough But when someone means it, that's
what gets me When someone says something about A woman, some misogynist If it's a joke, I know not everyone likes that stuff And I'm not a huge fan of that kind of comedy So much anymore, I used to like it when I was younger But, you know, I'm a much I'd class myself as pretty respectful towards women I'm no angel I'm not, you know, I don't have a huge amount Of respect for humans, full stop But as far as showing, pretending to be respectful, I do try Or not being offensive, I suppose It's the opposite,
isn't it But sometimes I know people that actually come out with stuff And it's horrible I'm getting to an age where I don't want to hear it I don't know how, I don't know why I've got to that point It used to just, it used to slide right off me When I was younger, because I always knew That I could come out with worse if I wanted You know, there was no topic that I couldn't outdo someone with When it came to being disgusting You know, when I was younger, when I was in my twenties
Well, actually all my life, but specifically That's kind of when I really got pretty good at it And I could always Outtalk someone Because I'd go to levels that most people wouldn't go to Like a real personal, not about them, not about their appearance Because that's easy, that's just the easiest thing in the world You know, I'd bring other things into it, I'd just go really I got in trouble quite a few times Rightly so, really, I suppose I think the whole idea is I didn't have a filter And I think I do now I
think I do now And I think part of the reason I got a filter is possibly because of The making recordings online, not knowing who's going to be listening Realising that You know, I could come out with something that could really upset someone You know, the internet I'm not a celebrity, so I don't have to care I don't have to care about that, but if I did become popular One text, one tweet One wrong Statement, something I came out with could ruin my career But I don't have a career, so it doesn't matter And I
could only live and do this and still not have a career And still be pretty much unknown And I don't need millions of people To follow me or to like me in order for me to Live a Decent life Only a few more thousand, but not that many I reckon 100,000 people is enough And I'm probably I suppose I'm 20% there If you base it through the month, I reckon about 20,000 people Listen to me throughout the month, if not more Individually It might be less, I don't know, there's no way of knowing I've looked
at the stats and tried to figure it out Because the listeners and the listeners Are two different numbers So I might have, I don't know, let's say 4,600 downloads so far today Still a couple of hours left, so it's going to be 5,500 Maybe 6,000, probably 5,500 by the end of the day So out of that 5,500 It might only be There may be 3,000 listeners Or 4,000 So some people have listened to more than one recording But I think that's how it works, I don't know Can't believe that anyone would want to listen to
me For more than one recording One should be enough, surely Let's listen to him all day No, don't, do something more enjoyable So I Sure there was a point to what I was saying Before I decided to say it Now I've said it, I can't remember why Oh yeah, I think it's important to speak From your own self Rather than, this is my opinion but Again it's just an opinion Regurgitating other people's words I think in some ways it's just really lazy But It's easy for me to say that because I don't have to work
2 jobs because I've got 3 children to feed And a mortgage to pay And maybe 2 mortgages to pay because I'm not with my Wife anymore Although I was in America, medical bills to pay I mean having bipolar and the medication I want Would cost me a fortune if I was living in America I'd get it free here, or if I'm working I can get it A lot cheaper, I can get it cheaper than I think it's about £8 or £9 a prescription And I know when I said prescription, all you heard was Sssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssption There's
nothing I can do about that, I can't even bother to Apologise anymore for my weird voice I edit and it just annoys me so much Because everything is so quiet And then I seem to get a little bit Excited when the volume Goes up and I don't like it, it's annoying But hey I'm going to sort that out Soon, I've got a plan I do have a plan, I'm going to sort it out Don't you worry Stop making recordings, that'd probably be the best way You know what you have to do, what do you do
with it I made a long What did I do You know what, I think I made two long recordings This week, let me just check Let me check Let me check I'm feeling I've got 5023 downloads So far today, that's not bad is it Okay let me just go back Stop telling us about the bloody stents Which I don't care, yeah well I do So there I did, if I can go to the right page Right podcast rather I've got a self-help hypnosis podcast Okay right So the hypnosis for eczema and itching One hour and
twelve minutes, but the other one Has two hours and three minutes Wow So I I might be making some more Some longer Some longer recordings And My phone just Cracked, I'm just going to have a drink here It's quite weird, I'm having a drink, I could have just pressed the pause button But now I'm going to make all this slurping sound And I'm going to want to edit it when I hear it Even though it's not even that noisy, I don't know why I can't just leave it in No one's going to even notice it
So So I think I'm quite a young 50 aren't I, do you think I'm an old 50, young 50 Average 50 Now I do feel older, some people say I feel the same as I did when I was 3 No you don't, some people do say I feel the same as I did when I was 22 I don't feel that way I don't feel the same As I did when I was 22 I would say I'm more In touch with myself, who I am Than I used to be I would say that I'm way less
optimistic than I used to be I really believed When I was 22 that I was going to be successful I really believed it Yet I had no proof I didn't, even after doing What, a comedy for a year, or a year and a half I still didn't really have any physical proof that I was doing okay Because it wasn't until 2003 that I started to get Probably average at the best I had some really good kicks But overall It was average So I think that confidence left I think the confidence I had reduced over time
Maybe it wasn't confidence Maybe it was determination Yeah, I think it was determination So maybe that hasn't changed Because I'm pretty determined now But I'm not confident really Most of my I'll admit it, sometimes I feel fairly Hmm I'm alright at this sometimes Oh, the little ferret arrives Andre the pondering He's come to have some food You know what I think he's getting a bit of a belly Because he's eating twice a day now Which he never used to, he used to eat once a day But lately, I give him a packet of wet food
In the morning, about 6, 7 o'clock Then I give him another pack in the evening, about 6, 7 o'clock And he eats a whole lot Plus he also eats the dry food as well But he seems to like it You know, that's what he seems to want And he was actually waiting for me to get him food earlier So I thought, okay, maybe that's just part of his Getting older part, but he's 5 years old now And he's middle aged, so maybe he just needs more food His metabolism That would be the opposite, wouldn't it
So maybe his metabolism slowed down But that would mean Technically that would mean that he'd need less food Oh, that was a sexy yawn So I don't know Let's see how he goes I've been studying him a little bit lately And he really prefers to sleep during the day He really, really does anything during the day It's not because it's hot, because it's not hot now It's cooler in the evening But it's not even warm during the day now Not in here And he's asleep nearly all day Has his little moments, he gets up and
runs around Comes and sees me, has a cuddle and stuff He's a little frowny He's a little frowny Oh, I saw the I saw the person who's the parents of the little boy that kicked Andre A while back And it was just before he started limping No, the kid didn't mean to do it, it's just a little kid But I just found myself getting angry Just remembering how much he suffered How much Andre suffered And having to wipe up after him He wasn't even able to stand up to do a poo and stuff And how
worried I was for him Also how much money it costs for the vets and stuff So I kind of I saw them coming, so I got into my house quickly I thought, no, just weird They're just going to wound me up It's not the kid's fault, is it He didn't mean to hurt Andre As if he did hurt Andre This happened on probably the Monday night Or the Tuesday night It wasn't the Wednesday when he started limping Maybe I just didn't notice it Hello Hello Andre Hello baby Hello, give daddy kisses Give daddy kisses You
are so cute Lay down and I'll play with your fingers I said your fingers I just ran off screaming Unlike when he lays down And I just play with his hands And massage the pads on the bottom of his hands And he almost goes into a bit of a trance He did what it did, didn't he Bastard So I'm looking to make some changes For this week onwards So I've got I'm going to change my diet I'm going to start eating a bit healthier From the Yeah, from my birthday Okay, so I'd stopped drinking Coke
for two days But I had a delivery From the supermarket, which was a big box of Cokes So I was too late to change the delivery You know, the contents The trolley, whatever you want to call it So I thought I'd just drink them And maybe Wednesday I'll stop drinking Coke I might start using my steamer Because I've never used it yet It's one of those electric steamers Where you put the water in I think the metal thing on the bottom It just heats it up And then you put stacks on top of each other
I think if it's meat it'd be the bottom And then vegetables like potatoes And other vegetables And I might start doing that Yeah I've done it before I have done it before And I've had a few of them actually The last time I had one I wonder why I didn't bother doing it when I moved I don't know why that is Not here, but the other place Unless I just left it there Because personally I quite like the taste of potatoes When they've been steamed I think they taste quite nice Without any salt Just with
whatever natural chemicals That are in them But they taste nice As opposed to baked potatoes I think baked potatoes are a little bit dry And if I had a baked potato The only time it's healthy Is before I eat it Before I cover it with Butter I'm not really into the cheese this much I think the reason is I've had too much cheese Over the last maybe year And I don't like cheese anymore I've had enough of it I don't want cheese on a pizza But I'm really into cheese Like sandwiches, and I still do
eat them But I just don't enjoy it So maybe If I I might do that, I might give that a go Start steaming My dinner Which means I won't be able to eat processed food Unless I just do the vegetables and then I put the fish fingers in the oven Which I could do, I like fish fingers Just steam the vegetables Yeah, I might do that Yeah I might, why not I've done it before And I always used to enjoy the food if I steamed it It's just a big part of me It just really
doesn't want to do stuff It's just a real You could even call it laziness Possibly, definitely I don't know why that is I do try and get motivated to Make a few recordings a day And today I've done one, two I did the deep sleep Whisper, a little relaxation Hypnosis There was another version of music And now I'm doing this recording So that's four That I've released, or would have released On this day I do, I'm trying I'd like to do more other stuff And I'm not really sure how I'm going to go about it
The thing is I quite like the creative The creative side The creative part of Starting a recording Knowing the topic That I want to discuss But not knowing what I'm going to say And having some faith In myself That I will be able to come up with something Useful It doesn't mean I do Because not everyone is going to like what I do Of course they're not If you please everyone then you're doing something wrong Andre is just coming up Why are you even facing your bum at me Andre?
Andre, he ran off He's a little dirty little ferret I can't believe that Sorry about that everyone He just ran up and over He looked behind himself And he just did a big guff and ran off I try and make I try and make these recordings professional I really do I put everything into my professionalism Yes I do So I'd like to make more I'd like to do more pain relief sessions but no one listens to them It puts me off I mean some people listen to them but it's a small audience And I kind
of think that Considering the millions of people out there with chronic pain That I would have a larger audience for that stuff Like I used to I used to have a fairly good audience For the pain stuff But I seem to have been typecast a little bit As being the sleepy man The sand man some people used to call me I didn't know what, I thought that was a derogative term But it's something to do with someone that sends people to sleep or something So I Even just talking about my life I think, and I've
talked about this before I didn't realise how Boring I was Until I had that counselling session In 1997 And the counsellor fell asleep Genuinely she fell asleep Her eyes slowly kept closing a little bit And her blinks, her blinking became longer And longer and she fell asleep And I started talking about some of the most ridiculous things Because I needed to test it, just make sure she wasn't just resting her eyes So I started talking about UFOs And making love to a lawnmower And the subsequent Medical attention that was required And coming out with all
this really silly stuff And it's going to be hard for you to imagine me doing that But I did, I came out talking about vacuum cleaners And she was still there Just with her eyes closed And I could have literally just done anything, I could have left the room Gone, had a cup of coffee Or gone outside for a cigarette then come back in And she wouldn't have even known I'd left the room I mean if I'd have had some lipstick I probably would have drawn something on her forehead The one time I didn't have
any lipstick on me So yeah, it's weird And at that time I didn't know anything about hypnosis Genuinely didn't All I knew is what I'd seen on television And I had zero, and I do mean zero interest In hypnosis Like zero, no interest Like what would be interesting there It's just, you know, why would I That didn't start until 98, January But seeing her eyes closed And normally with hypnosis Okay, some people like to show off Or they like the idea of getting someone to do something against their will So you know, trying to force
someone to not be able to open their eyes But the fact is If the person's come to see you and they're paid to see you They're already giving you their permission to go into hypnosis Because they've come to get helped Not to be challenged, not to have like A fight of wills about closing eyes So I never used to do that, never bothered Never bothered with the eye closing techniques Ever, I'd just say close your eyes That's it, I didn't get on with it Didn't want to spend 10 minutes Trying to convince them that their
eyes were going to close And they were staring at a point on the wall across the room Or at a light, and the more they stared The heavier their eyelids got And they could hear my voice, and the more they heard my voice The more tired and sleepy their eyelids got And they'd find that their eyelids would Start to get heavier And every time you blink your eyelids Almost want to just close Because they're so heavy And you keep opening them but you don't want to open them In fact the only thing you really want
to do right now Is close your eyes For good But you can only do that if You're ready to relax your entire body And mind So that when your eyes do actually close for good Not only will they stay shut And you won't be able to open them Your entire body will relax so much So all the muscles Almost stop working Including the muscles around your eyes Meaning that you won't be able to open your eyes Even if you tried, the more you try The less likely is that you're not going to be able to
do it Because all the muscles in your body Blah blah blah blah So I didn't bother with that I'd just say close your bloody eyes now I didn't swear But I'd say close your eyes And That would be it Partly because I already knew That I had the natural ability To talk to someone And for them to have their eyes want to close I have that natural ability You could say it's a gift or it's a curse, I don't know But I have that natural ability to talk to someone Look at them, and they want
to close their eyes Maybe it's because they don't want to look at my face Fair enough Maybe it's because my voice is so lovely they want to close their eyes and listen to it Without visual distraction My funny face So I know that I don't have to I don't have to do a trance Or hypnotic induction to get someone to close their eyes All I've got to do is just talk to them They all want to close their eyes And people that are sitting there Generally want to close their eyes because it's nice And they
might be They just kind of maybe That's what they're expecting to happen They're not really wanting to go through the whole process Of being cajoled to close their eyes Some people might enjoy the process But I don't see the point I say close your eyes The thing is with hypnosis Suggestions are suggestions Whether you're awake, whether you're asleep Whether you're bending over Picking up dominoes that have been left over from that big domino game tournament You had at the weekend Whatever you're doing Or if you're just balancing penguins on your head A suggestion Is exactly
that We're all very suggestible Some more than others And sometimes it would be dependent Upon the situation of the person Because let's face it, I know there's some people that don't like me For whatever reason in the past And nothing in the world that I would have said to them Would have changed or had any effect on them Just in the similar way that Some How shall I word this Okay, some, I'll say younger people But it might not just be younger people But some people will find A hugely attractive person In the opposite sex
or similar sex, whatever Similar sex Singular, but they'll find this Hugely attractive person that they're attracted to Hilariously funny When that person Is not saying anything funny Now that person has a huge That person who's laughing is very suggestible In that situation Because they're laughing at someone that isn't funny They might be funny, but just I've seen interactions where I'm thinking This is an overreaction All he said is Can you borrow a pound for the car meter For the parking And you've been laughing for the last ten minutes In that puddle on the floor It
wasn't, I'm not sure why it was funny to start with But even if it was, maybe it was an in-joke Maybe you've got an in-joke about parking meters I don't know But it wasn't that funny But I'm attracted to him, but I'm attracted to her I'll do both just so it doesn't sound Bored Men are weird Not that anyone listening to this doesn't know that Humans are weird I do find the two things a difference between men and women I want to get comfortable for this one There might be a few background sounds But I
can't be bothered to edit this I'm going to generalise I've worked with a lot of women I've been to college with women I've been at university Mainly women I did a massage course, all women I did a reflexology course, all women Had a lot of contact with women In fact, most of my friends over the years have been women Because I don't relate to men at all Generally I prefer women to talk to They're less aggressive, and that's one good thing I don't like oppression I don't want any part of it I realise not everybody
can love each other and get on But 7 billion people in the world If they don't get on with someone, just don't talk to them It's easy It's not that complicated So, here's something I've noticed Nearly every First of all, women seem to They meet a man Go out for a date And they'll talk about him like he's really nice Or he's lovely He's a gentleman And then A few months into a relationship It's not always the most positive The conversation Doesn't seem to be generally full of compliments towards that man Again, I'm generalising But
the amount of horrible things I've heard said about Women's boyfriends and husbands It's just incredible Wow, really?
Do we really hate it this much? Then you've got men They'll date someone They'll be with their friends the next day Yeah, she was doing all this stuff, she was dirty I can't believe it, she was going into graphic detail Then the next day You go in there and you see your friend and say Are you still with that?
With big tits Boy, that's my girlfriend So they go from telling you all this stuff About what they did with this female To dare say anything about my girlfriend That's my fiance And that's a line I know some men They don't have any class Like me, I'm a classy bird And I've seen that a few times, it's so funny They're like, oh you did this You should have seen her toenails I don't know why toenails And then you see her the next time All loved up And you have to tiptoe around them Because you know
stuff that you shouldn't know I've had people show me pictures of their girlfriends Nudie pictures on their phone Let's pretend I didn't ask to see them But not girlfriends, people they just started dating Or maybe hadn't even got together with yet And then a few weeks later I'm sitting opposite them on a table, eating And I'm thinking And I'm sure it's the same the other way as well There's nothing that women don't tell each other about Their boyfriends and husbands That worries me, that does a bit Very honest about stuff like that Much more than
men are I'm sure some men do But generally it's kind of a no-no Like that's my relationship They might moan about the person But they won't generally go into personal details Like in bed or anything like that You won't get You won't get measurements You won't have that kind of conversation You won't hear anything like I had to leave him because He had a smelly belly button That kind of stuff I remember something I did that once I said why don't you just take a wet wipe And diddle Diddle in a couple of What are
those?
Cotton buds Yeah I don't see it in the recording I've run out of words It's all that's coming out It's all that's coming out You could say I'm spent So yeah, that's it pretty much I'm going to go I'm sure I had something to say but I forgot what it was Forgot it What it was Yes Mama Mama Mama So that's it I shall speak to you I don't know, tomorrow probably So remember To be kind to yourself You deserve to be happy Before you go My new favourite singer Is Ali Sherlock That's A-L-L-I-E and
then Sherlock Sherlock as in Sherlock Holmes Or Ali as in Ali McBeal Sherlock as in Sherlock Holmes Phenomenal voice Now she's only 15 years old Which I didn't realise when I first saw her on YouTube And she's been, I think she's fairly well known She's been on Ellen and she's got a big YouTube following Why she hasn't got a Massive Recording contract I don't understand Because she sings live, she busks, she sings live I think she has done an album She's a brilliant singer Brilliant She's got something that a lot of people A lot of
singers don't necessarily have And that is a uniqueness to her voice Where if you hear her you'll know it's her Like say Macy Gray I've never heard anyone sound like Macy Gray, ever Or, well I used to, I would have said Minj, not Minji, Minj Minaj, Minji Minj, Minjina Mar, Minaj Nicki, Nicki Minaj But then that Cardigan lady, Cardi B It's like well Who came first?
Because not only They kind of look similar, they rap Similar, although I like Nicki Minaj, I think she's very unique But they're almost I mean Cardi B may have been around first It's just Nicki Minaj got her break first I don't know It happens, a lot of musicians may get They might get their big break Then someone else comes along that's been around for 10 years longer And they might only get their big break Because they sound similar to the other person Yeah actually they were the original Version, even though they may not have ever
met I don't know what I'm talking about It's There's a couple of singers that are quite Similar as well, here in the UK Gary Gary Ball, not Gary Baldy Ok, I don't know how to find this K.
R. B K. R. B Ok, Doctor Who Doctor Who Ok, Doctor Who Why didn't that come in? Let's see what different Doctor Who's If I fell in love Peter Capaldi So Capaldi Doctor Who Starring various Doctors Hmm Von Grainer Any relation to the Various Doctors, ok Come on Why has it not given me Peter Capaldi, that's it So Peter Capaldi, his second Cousin once we met, Lewis Capaldi And amazing voice The way he sings Is similar Wow So Lewis Capaldi Is similar to someone else I like He Sings like Lewis Capaldi sings like What do people do?
Can Lewis Capaldi actually sing? Of course he can sing Why do people ask questions like that? Can he sing? He's a singer Don't say that about someone who plays the guitar Don't say that about a dancer Ballet dancer, can they dance? I'm going to say David Blaine Can David Blaine actually do magic? Can he sing? I've never been so angry Apparently Paul McCartney is worth 1. 2 billion, about time James James James James Arthur Some people say Lewis Capaldi sings like James Arthur Which you could say is true Or you could say they're both just really brilliant How about that then?
That's how I see it So Go back to the 60s, Beatles, Rolling Stones I've never been a Rolling Stones fan but regardless They were huge, very very popular, as were the Beatles Different music But they all wrote their own songs So both brilliant singer-songwriter bands Not sure where I'm going with this It's like Who cares?
There's enough room, surely For two brilliant singers There's enough room for as many brilliant singers as you want As far as I'm concerned I think the good thing about Lewis Capaldi Is he doesn't take himself seriously James Arthur's a bit of a brooder I'm not saying he takes himself seriously because I'm a fan of his But he looks a bit brooder I haven't seen him smile that much In interviews over the years It's fine, it's up to him, it's got nothing to do with me But Capaldi makes fun of his weight And the fact that
he isn't the typical Pretty boy And I think that really comes across Where he'd make fun of himself So the audience loved him even more I have a bit of a problem with that Because I take myself too seriously Maybe I need to lighten up Very broody person me Very earnest Oh yeah, I'm so earnest So earnest Actually it's not supposed to be that kind of sound I'm earnest, very earnest My name's Tony So I'm going to go transitioning Remember to be kind to yourself Because you deserve to be happy Do something nice for yourself
today Do something really nice for yourself Treat yourself Lots of love Bye
