Hello and welcome to jasonnewland.com. My name is Jason Newland and this is Let Me Bore You To Sleep. Please only listen and you can safely close your eyes. Yeah, I had a missed call from the doctors today at 3.58 but I was out.
What's Andre doing? You alright mate? He's crawling around the floor. A-wrong, he's crawling around the floor. So, updates on Andre.
I've got an appointment for him. I probably mentioned this yesterday. I've got an appointment for him next, on Monday.
So it's only a couple of days. It's Friday now, so Saturday, Sunday, Monday. And I think he's taking advantage of me a little bit because I've been treating him extra nicely.
Not that I'm usually horrible to him, but I've been, you know, really sort of going over the top a little bit. I even gave him some extra food and I don't know, just whenever he wants to go for a walk, I take him out. Yesterday, I took him out three times.
Today, I've just taken him out. That's right, he's got, one of his legs doesn't work and he still insists on going out for a walk. So what I did today, literally just now, I got back about a half hour ago and it's just before nine o'clock in the evening.
I decided I'm not going to let him drag himself on the pavement, just in case there's, his leg might be numb or something so he can end up damaging himself. So I'm picking him up and then put him down on the grass or the dirt, the mud, whatever, so that he can walk on that. And he seemed happy enough.
And he took me the whole length of the field again. And then I carried him all the way back and he fell asleep. There's not one sound out of him, not kind of one grimace, not one kind of, uh, there's no clue that there's anything wrong with him other than the fact that he can't stand up.
You know, when he's walking, he's literally using his front legs. I took a video of him earlier, I'll stick it on Facebook. He's getting around just as quickly, just as quickly as he did before.
He almost looks like he's swimming, swimming on the grass. And, you know, there's kind of partly thinking, well, if it's dislocated, maybe enough movement and it'll kind of set back into where it's supposed to be. If it's broken, he wouldn't be able to use it.
I mean, he'd be in so much pain, he wouldn't be able to do anything. And I'm no expert, I'm not a vet, but I'm just thinking logically, a broken bone is a broken bone, isn't it? On every animal. You know, if I had a broken leg, I wouldn't be able to, you know, I wouldn't put any pressure on it at all.
And I would sit here feeling sorry for myself. You know, he's not doing that. So whatever it is, and I'll find out Monday.
And even if, you know, let's say Saturday or Sunday, he starts walking normally, I'm still taking him to the vet on Saturday because, you know, he had something similar to this a couple of months ago, but it wasn't on this level. It didn't last as long, but he was sort of crawling around and falling over and stuff. So off balance, I mean, it could be, it could be like an air infection or something, you know, that's knocking him off balance.
Maybe he's too heavy, but I don't know, because he gets way more exercise than probably most ferrets that live in, I don't know the word, captivity, but you know, ones that aren't wild, ones that are wild or they'll travel over long periods, long spaces, long, long spaces. You know, they will walk for miles or run for miles, apparently. And he does that in the fields.
He runs. He doesn't walk, he runs the whole length of the field. In fact, it's not the length of one field, it's the length of about two fields.
And he'll keep going until he can't go anymore. And he'll just lay there, expecting me to wait for him to recover. So yeah, he's got to be a fit ferret.
I mean, you think his tiny little legs compared to mine. And it's a fair walk for me. It's like half an hour, 40 minute walk.
And he's running pretty much the whole time. So yeah, it's got to be, they couldn't have about a million miles for him. It's like traveling to the moon.
No wonder he's knackered, he's probably worn his legs out. So yeah, that's, that's the latest on him. His appetite is just as good as it always has been.
He's, the only problem is going to the toilet. It's hard for him because he can't stand up. So I'm sort of cleaning them off and stuff.
But he doesn't like that because he's so clean. It's a clean boy, honestly. It's like most animals, they're clean and they look after themselves.
And he is as well. But he's limited to what he can do. So fingers crossed, everything will be groovy on Monday, get him to the vet and he will be, I don't know.
I can't, I really, I'm not even going to bother going online again, because it's just a guessing game. I'm going to wait until I get a specialist to tell me exactly what it is and hope that the cost isn't too great financially. Because if they have to start doing x-rays and blood tests and stuff like that, I mean, wow.
But yeah, it's, I'm hoping it's going to be something very simple. That he's maybe, he has dislocated it and the vet can put it back in. And, you know, I mean, I kind of think, oh, maybe I shouldn't let him, shouldn't take him out for walks, because that's perhaps damaging his leg more.
But I'm not taking him out for a walk. He's insisting that I take him out. I mean, it's not, I don't want to go out.
I end up going out in the rain and everything for him, getting covered in mud. So he wants to do it. And even when I pick him up and I put the lead on him, he's got his harness and I put his harness on.
He is struggling to get onto the floor, because he wants to walk, doesn't want to be carried. And so I'm going down the steps, he wants to walk down the stairs. He wants to, you know, he's so impatient.
So there you are, that's the latest on him. He's, he's asleep now. He's fast asleep.
I think he's knackered himself out completely, which is good. So he'll probably have a long sleep, get up again later. And I'm thinking I might have to give him a little bit of a bath.
But he's good. He's so good though. He woke me up.
So I had a little nap early on because I was a bit knackered myself. I needed to go out with my friend who needed to go to the chemist. So I went with him and waiting for buses for ages and ages and ages.
It's 50 minutes waiting for the first bus and then put about a half hour for the next bus coming back. And so I had a little lay down. It was lovely.
It was so nice. And then he woke me up at seven o'clock. It was time for dinner.
It's funny. You know, I'll wake up and I look down and he's just there on the ground staring at me. Okay.
So I don't know what he was doing before that. He's probably scratching at the bed or, you know, banging stuff around to wake me up. He struggles a little bit to get onto the bed now.
So that's why my little table next to my chair over the other side of the room has got stuff on it. And normally it doesn't. I normally empty everything because he'll get on that chair and knock everything onto the table or onto the floor or off the table.
He can't get onto the chair at the moment. So I'm able to leave stuff on the table without worrying of him coming on and just... I mean, well, if it's a bowl of breakfast cereal, if it's a plate of food, anything, knock it right off onto the floor. He's broken quite a few plates doing that.
It's almost compulsory to him. He has to do it. He can't stop himself.
He's... I really don't know what it is. What's going on? Maybe I can ask the vet about that. So yeah, so that's that.
That's the... I'm tired. It's a bit early to be tired. It's only nine o'clock.
I've not even had my dinner. The day's not really started yet. I'm going to be awake until at least probably four or five.
So I've had a few, a couple of messages. I didn't even know where they are. Not many, couple, couple, couple, couple.
I sent... Oh yeah, I posted... Let's turn the volume off of my phone. Okay, there's something there, but I won't turn it up because I can't. The PS5 looks like a cyborg's... Okay.
I was doing some extreme cleaning in my closet. I found the birthstone earring I lost months ago. Yay, okay.
I'm getting distracted. Okay, so let's have a look. Oh, Kate Bolton, first Big Mac in five months.
Where? Because they don't do it. The McDonald's here has not opened yet. I'm not really a McDonald's person.
Oh man, I could... It's gone so long. Okay, so I've got a few messages. Let me just have a look.
A message from Lilliaf. David keeps... I've been riding a car and David keeps changing my radio back to country western music. And I said to her, good boy, David.
Well done. Just a message to Jen. Hi Jen, thanks very much for your message yesterday and glad that you're enjoying where you are.
Yay. And so Jen's got a cat who's adopted her. Lovely little cat.
Oh, very cute. Rachel. So yeah, Rachel just sent a lovely message, Rachel, about the new podcast because I've got a new website, which is Jason Newland podcast.com. And it's got all of my recordings that you can listen to and download ad free.
So just for those people that don't want to support my service, that want to listen without adverts, you can. So that's why I've built that website. And it's a podcast, but it's got all my stuff on there.
Rachel said this is great for people who don't like the ads, but I'm just concerned that the new website puts your costs up. It has, you're right, but that's okay. It's quite difficult to cater for everybody.
I know that I'm never going to, I know it's unrealistic, but I want to be able to cater for the people that have been kind to me. Does that make sense? So Susan, as an example, Rachel, and there's quite a few people that perhaps don't like the adverts. And so that's why I'm doing it.
So the website's finished, kind of. Nothing's ever finished, really. Not in my world.
But because I've been playing with it for a while, I have, there's a few pages that are blocked, but I'm unblocking them, you know, as we go. So they'll be done by today or tomorrow. It just takes time.
And that's just because it was going to be a subscription service, as it might be in the future, but not now. And so I just have to unblock. I was playing around with the subscriptions to see how it works.
I didn't realize that just by deleting the premium service, it didn't unblock all the pages. So because there's hundreds and hundreds, well, over 1000 pages, 1000 recordings, I don't know how many is on there, 1500, 1700, or maybe more. I've had to go into each and every recording and change it to be free rather than be premium.
Even though there isn't even a premium service on there. But it's blocked the page from being used. So I'm unblocking it.
So I've done half, half of them. And so still got more than half. So I've probably got about about another 400 left to unblock and then I'll be done.
But the good news is I managed to get an extension on that podcast to get more space because I'd used up my allotted 10 gigabytes for the month. And I said to them, can I have more? They said, well, 10 gigabytes is what we normally allow. Although it's unlimited, 10 gigabytes is more than most people would ever use.
And can you, you know, how much do you need? So I said, another 10 gigabytes, please, will get me through to the next, you know, to the end of the month, because I only had, I think, eight more recordings to add to make it up to date. There's a few little ones I have to put on there. But mainly, I've got nearly all of the recordings on there.
So that 10 gigabytes, I imagine I won't use more than about three gigabytes a month. With all the new recordings, maybe, maybe more, I don't know, not huge amount. Maybe five gigabytes, maybe eight or nine, eight, maybe eight, eight or nine gigabytes.
Maybe 43 gigabytes. It depends, it really does depend. And then, so that's up and running.
I'm going to embed the players into my main website as well, for some reason. Why do I do this? It's like constant. I just keep giving myself more work.
And the, my other website, which no one's visited yet. So I think the domain name is rubbish. It's such a bad domain name that no one's going to remember it.
I mean, seriously. lmbyts.com lmbyts.com lmbyts or lmbytes.com lmbytes.com or lbyts.com Anyway, that's the domain name for the website for my Let Me Bore You To Sleep podcast. So that's the website.
I've only got 27 uploaded so far, but they will all be uploaded probably by the end of the weekend. Just takes time. Because each one, they're quite, they're not large files, but they do take up a bit of space.
And they're all an hour, sometimes an hour and a half, hour and 20 minutes, hour and four minutes, whatever. They're all over an hour long. So it takes some time.
So I've got some messages here. So I'm going to read them out. And from Naomi.
Okay, I already read that one out. Kerry, thanks for the shout out. I heard it.
The rest didn't. All fell asleep. How is Andre doing? Poor thing.
So worried about him. Thanks, Kerry. And as I said at the beginning of the recording, I think he's doing all right.
I think I'm probably, it's probably affecting me more than it is him for some reason. He doesn't seem to care. However, when he's asleep, he makes some weird noises.
So I don't know. He's not making a fuss at all. Unless his way of making a fuss is dragging his leg around.
Maybe he's exaggerating it. Maybe he's absolutely fine. And he's realized a way to get me to take him out and to just wipe him down and wash him and give him more cuddles.
The thing is, I always told him he's got kisses and cuddles. He's making a funny noise now. I told him right from the beginning.
When I first gave birth to him, I said to him, you can have kisses and cuddles anytime of the day or night. I'm always here for kisses and cuddles. I won't tell you what his reaction was.
But it was definitely a derogatory slur. Something I cannot repeat on a family podcast. I was quite surprised that he knew words like that.
Yeah. But anyway, he knows that I was available for him. And all he's got to do is come over and just look at me and I pick him up.
And he's been doing that a little bit more often the last few days. But yeah, but in himself, he seems fine. His appetite's fine.
He's, yeah. I'm a little bit confused by the whole thing. I really am.
Anyway, I'll send my love to him from you, Kerry. Thank you for your concern. It's lovely.
Thank you. And the next one, Brad. I missed you last night, my friend.
Glad there's one for me tonight. Hope all is well. Oh, okay.
And then another one today. Listened last night. Sorry to hear Andre isn't feeling well.
Best of luck. Something I can write. Thank you.
And thanks, Brad. Yeah, he's making weird noises now. He's like, I mean, he does make noises.
I think generally, he's probably dreaming about something. Dreaming about biting my feet or something. Toes.
But I suppose I'm a little bit more sensitive to it at the moment. A bit more. Okay.
What's that sound? So yeah, it's, thanks, Brad. And Kerry, I will reply on here, but I've always, you'd have heard me talk anyway, but thank you. I put thank you to you.
Kerry. I've already replied to Naomi. Can you hear him? He won't do it now.
I want him to. Not that I want him to, but you know, sounds weird, doesn't it? So you want him to moan? No, I don't want him to moan. I just, I want him to make the noises I'm telling you about.
Otherwise it looks like I'm lying. Lying. So let me see what other, so I can't, I don't, by the way, I don't know if you knew, I know I've got my website, letmeboytosleep.com. I've got that website.
I've also got a Facebook page, Facebook Let Me Boy To Sleep page. So yeah, just wanted to let you know that, just in case you're interested. Not very interesting, really.
But I've got, so Lisa Knowles and Molly both liked my Let Me Boy To Sleep Facebook page. So I've got, I haven't got that many, but I'll tell you what, I don't know how many there is, but, so I'll give you an example. On my normal Facebook, my normal Facebook is, how many, what is this on here? No, it doesn't say, but I don't know how many people I've got.
I've got about 4,000 friends, I think, on my normal Facebook, which, no, 3,909. Oh, so he was showing off. He was bragging, making out he had 4,000 friends, but he's only got 3,909 friends.
I haven't had contact with all those people. I'm not going to, you know, but there are a few that I have. So hi to those that have contact with me.
Some people I've had contact with for a short time, and then they, you know, they sort of, I guess some people introduce themselves to me. Some people add me and then start asking me who I am. So that confused me a little bit.
They add me, they request me as a friend. I kind of just say yes to everyone. Can't be fussy when you've got a beard like mine.
And then I thought, so who are you then? Well, if you don't know who I am, why have you added me? I requested to be my Facebook friend. And yeah, I don't really get it. But, you know, I'll just, I'll say it now.
I've said it before. The only reason I ever came onto Facebook was to promote my free hypnosis service. Back in, I joined in August 2008, this Facebook page.
I joined Facebook properly in at least 2007. The reason I know that is because I spent a week adding friends and building up the page, adding myself to lots of pain relief, pain, Facebook pages, you know, sort of different, various different pain stuff. Because that's what I used to deal with.
That's what I used to focus on. So probably like I do lots of things, I deleted the page, which is weird, because it's quite hard to delete Facebook, unless I just lost the page. Anyway, I know for 1000%, I built this my first join in 2007, at least, because I was a week off work with a cold.
So it's definitely wasn't 2008 for that. Anyway, this page is 12 years old. So that's cool.
Apparently, I'm followed by 112 people. See, I am popular. 112.
Now my Jason Newland hypnotist page, which is a separate thing. That's not my private page. It's my own page.
I don't know how many people I've got on here. I wonder if it says it anywhere. Well, apparently, I've got 46 new page likes between the last 28 days.
Wow. 46. 46.
So that's that. I wonder more messages, notifications. Chrome page.
Doesn't seem to say how many people I have. I thought it would. I don't know why.
Because the other one did. I thought it would say. Oh, yeah, it does.
Okay. So I've got 28,837 people follow this page. 29,105 people like this page.
And out of those people, 255 of them are, according to this, 257 are my friends, my Facebook friends. So yeah, I don't know when I started that. Did it say when I opened that page? Oh, it doesn't seem to be.
Let's have a look. Doesn't say when I started. We update your top fans weekly.
Wow, Molly. Molly's been my top fan for three months. And Deb has been my top fan for a week.
Hi, Deb. Deb Lowe. Hi.
So you're my top fan for the last week. And Molly's been my top fan for the last. Top fan for three months.
Top fan for one week. Deb Lowe. Top fan for three months.
Molly. So thank you to both of you. Yay.
That's nice. I didn't know there was such a thing. As a top fan thing.
So the Let Me Bore You To Sleep page. See, this is a lot smaller. It's tiny compared to the others.
But only people that like the Let Me Bore You To Sleep podcast go on there. And I don't tell anyone else about it. And so I've got, so I know that anybody that's on here, there's only four people, anybody that's on here, I know that they're genuinely, well, listening to these podcasts.
Anyway, I've got 151 people like the page, 152 people follow it. So I know it's not a lot. But considering it's just for, it's not an old page.
It's not been around for a huge amount of time. See, I've had, yeah, I mean, 28 days, I had five new likes on my Facebook Let Me Bore You To Sleep page. Wow.
Five. That's a month. That's 60 new likes a year.
It's not bad, is it? Wow. So I don't normally spend much time looking at this stuff. My phone's about to cut out.
Oh, yes. It is. What's that? Okay, still can't get my head around.
What's it called? In, what's it called? Instagram activity. Impressions 250 reached 58. I've only, I've only been on here for three days, by the way.
We're back on here. Website clicks one profile visits 22. Activity audience 127 followers.
So much stuff. I used to like all this stuff when I was younger. I think it was kind of exciting.
It was all new. All new. But it's not now.
It's all old. Very, very, very old. So that is, yeah, there's no other messages I can see.
If I've missed anybody, anybody's messages, then tough, I guess. Tough titties. And if I've missed anyone, I apologize because I do try to read everyone's messages as long as, you know, I'm a little bit more careful than I was a few weeks back.
I'm trying to miss out anything that might be personal. And, you know, I'm growing as a person. I am.
I'm growing. I'm becoming more adult. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Right. And so I want to, I'm planning. Well, what I need to do, I need to make more recordings that aren't just let me bore you to sleep because I get into, I get into a frame of mind where if I'm focusing on websites like I am at the moment, well, other than Andre, I'm, you know, focusing on trying to do the websites.
And when I'm doing the websites, I'm in the room with Andre. I can't put him in the cage at the moment. So I can't guarantee that I can do a quiet recording in the bedroom because he might just start dragging, literally dragging himself in there and start making noise.
I can't put him in the cage because his hammock is right at the top of the cage. And there's one, two, three slopes, big slopes that he has to climb up. So getting down would be easy, but getting back up, I think, if that note is one, two, three, four, four slopes to climb up to get to the bottom.
That's not fair on him. You know, he's not going to be able to, he can't grip. It's not grippable.
It's grippable, but not in the way that he needs. So I'm not putting him in a cage at all until I find out what's wrong with him. If I find that he's faking it, that he's trying to pull a fast one, you know, just trying to wind me up, then I will put him in his cage.
He'll be on the naughty step. But at the moment, it's a case of, and if the thing is, if I'm sitting on my bed, if I sit in the shed, then he's more likely going to come out because he'll hear all the moving stuff around and he'll start scratching the door and stuff. If I do it on my bed, just leave all the doors open, chances are he'll still stay asleep.
I won't wake him up and I'll be able to make a recording. The only problem with that is my full attention isn't on the recording because there's a part of me thinking or listening out for him. Is he going to wake up? Is he going to start running around and climbing through his plastic tube? Is he going to start, you know, attacking my slippers? Or the ones I've got on myself? Or is it, you know, what's he going to do next? Which doesn't matter if he's in the cage because he can't do nothing.
He's only in there for like half an hour or an hour at a time. So yeah, kind of, it's a weird one. But hopefully by Monday or next week, he had to get it sorted.
You know, get a wheel attached to his leg or something, to his foot if he needs it. A little Lego wheel. A little Lego wheel, well, I'll carry him around if he needs it.
I mean, honestly, I know it sounds silly, but even if he had, I reckon even if both of his back legs didn't work, he'd still want to go for a walk and he would drag himself with his front feet. That's how determined he is to go for a walk. He loves being outside, rolling around in the grass, in the mud.
And especially in the evening, early evening. He loves it, absolutely loves it. And that's when he's happiest, I think.
Part of when he's asleep or spending time with his girlfriend. My old slipper. But he's not been doing that the last couple of days, which I think that's because he can't, he hasn't got the nimbleness that he normally has.
He's very into Tantra and yoga and tantric yoga for ferrets. He can't do all the positions he normally does. Wow, did I really say that? And so, yeah, I think he's still doing some because when I'm asleep, he gets up to things.
But a friend of mine said to me, would I get another one when he's no longer here? Like, I don't want to think about that. But then, you know, nothing, no one can replace him just because of his personality, because of the way he is. And yeah, I think if I ever got another pet, because I don't class him as a pet, but I know that I suppose officially he is.
If I ever got another animal, I guess it'd just be a fish, like goldfish or something. That's what I had before. And I used to call him Milton.
His name was Tom, but I called him Milton. I used to annoy him. See, I even annoy fish.
The first fish I ever had was called Popeye. I won it in a fair when I was about seven. It was the first pet I ever had, if you don't include nuns.
And I went to this fair and I don't know, went on something, some kind of, I don't know what it was, like knocking over cantaloupes with bits of sweetcorn or I don't know whatever it was. But I won this goldfish in a little clear bag full of water. I probably didn't need to add the water bit.
I was going to just stick a goldfish in there, an empty bag, but anyway, I got this goldfish and it had one eye that was kind of really quite puffy. So I called him Popeye because his eye looked like it was about to pop. And this actually probably gives you an idea of what I was like when I was seven years old.
I'd get a fish who's looked like his eyes about to pop. I'd call him Popeye. Well, I think we thought about that before.
Anyway, and after he was seen by a specialist at the pet shop, he had a disease, which is what caused his eyes to pop, to bulge out like that. And yeah, he didn't last very long. And well, what happened is, oh yeah, it doesn't matter.
Well, I thought it was a bit hot. So I left him near the cooker and the sun was shining. And I was told by an adult, he's getting too hot.
You have to cool him down. So I stuck him in the freezer. I didn't take him out of the water.
I'm not stupid. I put him in the freezer. That will cool him down.
I didn't intend to leave him in there for a week. That was not my intention. But I got distracted.
The new series of Spider-Man was on telly. And you know, what can I say? It's just what happens. The weird thing about it is when I took him out of the freezer, I didn't really, I thought he was okay.
The water was a bit cloudy. I carried him all the way upstairs to the top of the, to where I lived. Well, I lived in the building, but I lived in a specific room where my bed was.
They called it the bedroom. And so I carried the goldfish bowl all the way upstairs. So I was pleased with myself because I didn't spill any water.
I thought that I'd suddenly become, had some kind of magic non-spilling power, the power to carry things without spilling. Because before that time, I was quite a bit of a spiller. And suddenly I wasn't.
I thought, oh, my powers got new power. And the water started to clear out a little bit. It still wasn't so misty.
And my goldfish wasn't moving much. I thought, oh, must be asleep. He got a little bit angry.
I was like, what are you staring at? Why do you keep staring at me? Popeye, why do you keep staring at me? I'm not making fun of your eyes. I know, but I mean, the kind of eyes he had, it didn't matter where you were in the room, he was still staring at you. But, like, stop staring at me.
Give you an idea though, he's a little goldfish. He wasn't big. His eyes were literally the size of a window in the house.
That's how big it was. Or a giant doughnut. Whichever way you want to... I don't know if you really... That would be quite difficult to make a doughnut the size of a big window.
And I used to make doughnuts years ago. Or someone just made a big bang, noisy, banging noise in the kitchen or in the garden. Not my kitchen.
I hope there's not going to be lots of banging stuff. Stop banging. Oh, you know, years ago, I lived in this place.
And it's totally true. I'm not even making this up. There's a lot of banging.
A lot of, like, something banging against the wall. And there's this room, someone moved into the room. And I couldn't figure out what was going on.
What were they doing? Because there was a couple in there. And I thought, what are they doing? It's like, it sounded like someone was just, had a bit of metal and was banging it against the wall. Kept banging it, kept banging it.
They'd be doing it for like a half an hour at a time. Thought, what are you doing? I didn't knock on the door because, you know, I just couldn't understand it. And then I remembered.
I remembered what adults do with each other when they're in a relationship. But I think that's what it was. I don't mean to argue.
And I just, I'd been single for so long, I'd forgotten about it. Genuinely forgotten about that side of things. Like, oh yeah, I forgot about that.
And I laughed to myself. And I was laughing so much, I almost got myself in trouble. Because someone was walking up the stairs and luckily I saw them.
So I hid, you know, get up off my knee, stop looking through the keel, just in time to pretend that I was wiping down the banister. So the person walking up the stairs didn't think anything of it. Yeah, those were good times.
Those were the times, the times of my life. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I wonder if my phone's turned off yet.
I reckon it would have done. No, it's still on. It's still on.
Wow. How's this for a good website name? lmbyts.com. What a rubbish name. lmbyts, lmbyts.com. I don't know.
I really am not sure. Let me see the other one. jasonnewlandpodcast.com. Oh, okay.
Well, that's weird. jasonnewlandpodcast.com. What's come up is live relaxation stream eight. What's that about? Really? I don't want that on there.
I find this sometimes happens. It's so annoying. So where's the homepage then? Maybe I picked the wrong place to do it.
Maybe Jason Newland's podcast. Yeah, it should be. Oh, I've clicked on it.
It's come up. Thousands of free mp3s since 2006. Jason Newland's podcast.
The latest one 426. Let me bore you to sleep. 11th of June 2020.
By Juicy JJ. Juicy JJ. Blimey.
I need to change that. That's the thing when I'm messing around on a podcast. I don't kind of always put down the serious.
I'm always very serious with it. Not see on on a website, this will come up much better than it does on the phone. Because on the phone you have to there's on the left hand side.
There's a lot of green thing, green patch, which is Jason Newland's podcast. On the left hand side is like three dashes down, which means press on that. And then it gives you a list of the categories.
So all of the different recordings I've done. So for example, hypnotic buffet, a place where no one ever goes. And it says archive for the hypnotic buffet category.
And it's got everyone from 31 down to 31 down to 12. Why? You're joking me. Are you serious here? Why would it not have all of them? So is it not going to have all the let me bore you to sleep? This is just a pointless exercise if it doesn't.
Archive for the let me bore you to sleep category. 426 and it goes down to 407. Oh, what a waste of time.
That's pointless. I don't know what to do about that. It might be a case of... I don't know.
Wow. Did not see that coming. So there you go.
Doesn't work on the phone. It works on the phone, but it doesn't give you all the... all of them. Wow.
Just press play on the podcast. Turn it down. Why can't things just go straightforward? Just a little bit of simplicity.
Even my beard is complicated. So I figured that out. I might just have to delete it.
I can't spend time... I can't waste any more time on stuff that doesn't work. I might be able to... well, I will be able to embed individual recordings onto my main website. So maybe that's what I just need to do.
And just do it like that. So people come to my website can listen without paying group notes, without listening to the advert. You know, I think what it is, is podcasts are not... they don't seem to be... some of them are not built for large podcasts, you know, as being websites.
And there are ways of doing that. So I'm going to look into that. Look into it and see what can be done.
And yeah, I kind of think I might know, but I might not. We'll see. So that's it.
That's another... another wasted hour. So thank you for listening. Remember to be kind to yourself, because you deserve to be happy.
Do something nice for yourself today, and tomorrow, and over the weekend. Lots of love. Bye.
