Hello and welcome to jasonnewland. com My name is Jason Newland and this is Let me bore you to sleep Please only listen When you can safely close your eyes Yeah If you want to gift me, you can go to paypal. me forward slash jasonluland Links on my website If you want to listen to this podcast without adverts, you can You go to my website and in the menu Let me bore you to sleep Continuous play, no ads, that's the page But it's in the menu so it's easy to find Yeah Oh I wasn't even yawning before I started this Oh blimey So much to tell you So much And not been well the last few days Not really felt great the last few weeks really But the last couple of days, few days, weekend or whatever But

feeling a bit better today, done some stuff Made a few changes, which is good, which I'm really pleased about And they're not feeling very well, it's more More mentally than physically I'll do a bit of physical as well There's more, just a bit of anxiety and stuff Being raised with the bombardment of what's kind of going on at the moment Which I'm not going to discuss here, I'm just going to I'm just mentioning why I haven't made a recording for a few days But I'm back, oh yes I'm a bit sniffy, sorry about that Why

today, well basically I've mentioned in the past That my living room is messy Very very messy Or was very messy until I tidied And I got a proper tidy up It's so sniffy I feel a bit, oh no, oh no It's, hello mate, want to give me cuddles Give me cuddles Come on then, how you doing honey How's my little baby boy He's not happy with me at the moment Because first of all, I put all his toys away into a box He can get to them, but he's very lazy Takes after his daddy Oh,

you want to get down now Oh no, you want to sniff there, ok Lovely, why don't you sniff your own What are you sniffing mine for I don't know what you expect to find there, there's nothing there Trust me, ask all my ex-girlfriends There's nothing, nothing to find Leave, stop it Good old sniff What are you trying to do He's a dirty little boy, he really is You're a dirty little boy Give me your daddy's little monkey, ow Now he's biting my hand What's going on with you, ow He's biting quite rough, he doesn't normally

do that Why, he bites the skin in between the thumb and finger He does that with everyone, but he doesn't normally do it with me He kind of knows better, so I don't know why Unless he wants to have a fight Sometimes if he's got a bit of energy and he wants to have a big punch up He starts biting me a little bit And if I start pulling him around a little bit Then he realises he can be rough with me So I think he's just testing the ground You're testing the ground to see

if you get away with it And then he starts biting me more and more and more Now he's gone He's a little bit annoyed He's now got my slipper And he's I don't know what the right word would be He's getting very romantic with some bubble wrap He hurt me I wasn't making fun of you, I'm sorry Yeah I know it's romantic, I shouldn't be, I know I'm not blocking you That's not the word he used, there's a word before that Stop it Andre, that's rude You can't say that, stop it So, what do you

want now?

He wants to go out for a walk And it's six minutes past two in the morning I'm not going out at this time in the morning Unless I had a lion, if I was taking a lion for a walk, I would But I wouldn't take, I'd need, you know, if I had an elephant or something But not a little thing like him So I thought, what I would do today, or yesterday rather Yesterday evening, I suddenly, for me it's a little bit of a slide Sometimes I'll jump off the slide and I start sliding down

And I just keep going And that's what I'm like when I start tidying up or cleaning the bath Or whatever it is, sometimes I just get stuck in it I just keep doing it It pretty much started, not a problem but With all the shed stuff that I've been doing Putting bubble wrap around it, cling film Trying to sort of make it as soundproof as possible Mainly focusing on the outside, then moving the door to the inside And just doing whatever I could, it looks a mess from the outside And it's not complete, there's still

lots to do But I'm hoping that I can start I've made a couple of recordings since I've had it like that The last one was probably about three or four days ago But it left my bedroom in a complete state There was nails everywhere, you know Not toenails, nails that I was using to hammer stuff And it was getting a little bit annoying because my What was it, the set of drawers was in the hallway Which didn't leave a lot of room to get through It's just lucky that I'm really, really skinny Otherwise it would

have been a difficult one I actually had to put it opposite the doorway opening So I could actually get through So I could move through and let my belly flop into the door Taking up half the bedroom and then just turning around And trying to plonk it on top of the set of drawers It's a manoeuvre but I don't know what he's doing I have to cut his fingernails tonight Is he getting caught on the carpet?

I've also just realised I think he can climb onto the table He's now on the black chair, he's looking for something to knock off Is he going to be able to get onto the other table or not? I think he can but he thinks he can't Because it's a little bit closer than normal If you want to cuddle you can have a cuddle mate Cuddles are available 24 hours a day Even when I'm asleep He does, he jumps up when I'm asleep And he gives me a cuddle and then he goes Sometimes he just wants a little bit of TLC don't you?

Anyway it kind of started with the shed bit And the mess, I had all my tools out It was a little bit messy I'm just saying So I was getting a little bit annoyed with the hallway being full of stuff And my bedroom being full of stuff The bedroom's not all sorted yet, there's still stuff to do But it's three quarters done There's a little bit of the room left but I don't care I don't care enough at the moment I just had to, I did what I could So I've just been looking at it

and thinking And I was thinking well what if Andre stands on one of those nails But that didn't motivate me to clear up Which is weird And then I think yesterday or the day before yesterday I was on my punch bag And normally I've got a punch bag that's hanging up off the wall So there's a bracket and a punch bag It's a heavy bag and it's on the wall, it's hanging off It's got four straps, metal things holding onto it And it can just turn around a little bit And it's an Everlast bag And

it was never really put in properly For some reason one of the holes on the right hand side bracket Was too large, was made too large by the drill And the screw, when it was screwed in It was a bit loose, it didn't really sort of go in properly The other two brackets, there's a long bracket across And there's a bracket at the bottom Those two, the left one and the one at the bottom seem to be OK The one at the bottom is very solid But it kept coming a bit loose on the right

hand side OK, here we go If you want a cuddle you can have a cuddle But just mind the microphone OK, good boy And the, yeah so the right hand screw Was more of a nut really to be fair It was a big old thick old thing And it just kept like gradually easing out So I'd push it in And then, as I said the day before yesterday I thought I'd have a little punch on the punch bag Without, with gloves Normally I do it without gloves Because I think, you know, I like to just

Sort of practice in technique to be able to punch without hurting my hands Because I broke my hand a couple of years back And I thought since then I want to be able to Make sure I don't break my hand again So I kind of learned some techniques to do that Where I don't, you know, hurt myself Because before that I generally used to wear gloves on punch bags Well, the day before last I put my gloves on And punched with bag gloves Which meant I was able to punch harder Because, you know, it's You

can't, there's no limit really is there Especially when you're super strong New But it's, I could kind of let rip a little bit Without worrying about hurting my hands Not that I worry about it but But the bracket nearly fell off the wall The right thing just came right out And I thought, ooh Because if that falls out I could bring the plaster out with it I was a little bit worried so What I did is I took the bracket off Actually it was the day before, yeah it was two or three days ago Took

the bracket off The whole thing off And I just left it on the floor And I thought, what am I going to do?

Should I start drilling and make three new holes And then put in, you know, make them so there's So the hole's a bit tighter So there's a bit more of a grip For the nut But, so when I'm screwing it feels, it's a bit tighter but I don't know, I kind of thought, well There's already three holes in the wall I don't really, I think Andre's making me laugh, yeah I thought three holes is enough And I didn't want to be greedy I just don't want to put too many holes in the wall, you know

So I thought about it And thought about it a little bit more Andre's fingernails definitely need cutting I think that's why he's possibly Climbing up, because he wants me to do them But he's going to have to wait until after I finish this recording Very clever boy, you know When he needs stuff done He knows to come to his daddy, don't you, eh?

And It's like when he gets a puncture on his bike Comes to me straight away Don't you, eh? Yeah When we came, I think it was a couple of weeks ago Yeah, well actually about four weeks ago actually He came to me and said, Daddy, Daddy I said, what?

He said, a girl pushed me over in the playground I said, it's okay, it's okay Happens to all of us Well, it doesn't happen to me anymore But, you know, it didn't happen to me, because I was a man, but you were a little baby And I didn't, I said, it's okay, mate He said, I don't know what to do I said If you try to hit her with something And he said, you can't do that I said, no, I'm only kidding But if you did happen to have something To hit, did you have anything you could hit her with?

No, Dad, you can't hit girls I know, I'm joking, I'm just joking I'm joking But you shouldn't let people hit you I know, but I don't know what to do I said, well Have you noticed that you've got very sharp teeth? Yeah Well, maybe you could bite her Oh, Daddy, don't be silly, I can't bite her I like her What? Excuse me? You like her? A couple of seconds ago you were crying As she pushed you over Yeah I think she loves me It's too early Just shut up, go away I let her tell him to go away Because it's too early in the morning He said, that's rude, Daddy That's not how it happened He's so restless, he wants to get down now Do you want a little sniff of my balls?

That's our good boy Weird, weird ferret Weird, weird, weird ferret You're the one talking about three holes in the wall Being enough Stop, Andre You're not supposed to be listening to what I'm saying You're just a pervert Oh, stop it, ow, he's biting me He's proper biting I mean, not proper biting, obviously Because I'd have to go to the hospital if he proper bit me Because it just ripped my hand right open Because what they do is They do kind of like a crocodile roll You know, so they'll grab on and then just turn around

And just rip the flesh out And that's what he used to do when he was a baby He was born with that instinct It's weird But almost it feels like he's breastfeeding There's a little bit like he's He's biting, but he's It's like he's getting some kind of Pleasure or some kind of regressing You're regressing back to a little baby Shall I breastfeed you?

Not breastfeed, but Shall we just pretend that it's Don't call me sick Andre, I'm just joking about Get your nipple away from me I am not You know, he actually bit my nipple When he was first a baby When I first got him I was doing a video And I made quite a few videos back then I should edit them And make a little compilation To post on Facebook Little compilations of Andre Because he's been in lots of my videos over the years But I made little guest appearances I've got videos of him when he

was tiny Somewhere I think they would have been like the Jason Chat videos But I've still got them They're stored on my hard drive On my main hard drive That's, I was going to say hidden It's not hidden, it's just separate It's in a storage room I could leave it in here actually Thinking about it There's no reason for it to be I might put it in here Now there's a little bit more room But I've got all my recordings on there Apart from the latest ones Probably for the last six months maybe All the

pictures Photographs Pictures of Andre Pictures of family and stuff Maybe some pictures Not many But they're all on there On the hard drive I think it's a 2 terabyte Or 3 terabyte hard drive But I just don't I should upload what I've got on my laptop to there As a backup But I think part of the reason I don't Apart from laziness Is All of my recordings All of my podcasts Are On my laptop They're also On the podcast, on Spreaker So they're all, you know, on there And they're also all on my website So,

plus On the other hard drive So there's everything stored Nothing, I can't lose it all And the only way I could lose it all is if I Close down my podcast Close down my website And Delete it, you know, and just sort of Got rid of the laptop And even then I'd still have everything up to 6 months ago On my other hard drive But I have been thinking Just with so much stuff going on in there I was thinking maybe I should make, have a Have a couple of custodials I'm not sure if that's

the right word It sounds a bit like prison, doesn't it?

Custodials, but Someone to Keep my work alive When I'm gone And so I don't know if there's anyone out there That'd be interested in I could basically just send Via an email With zip files or whatever All of my All of my recordings Or Send a hard drive Which reminds me I've still got three Disk drives to send out And I'm sorry To those I've not sent out That I haven't done it yet Which brings me to my next thing A big shout out to Rachel I'll tell you why in a minute Also to Erm

Boston Boston Chicky My brain's gone dead It's not gone dead but it's gone quiet It goes like this Because I start to relax Feel calm The reason I want to say a big thank you To What's her name Rachel Is because yesterday I Spoke to her On Zoom I don't know how long was we talking for Rachel Probably about 20 minutes And We was on camera chatting And basically she was helping me test out Zoom Because I went online And did a group thing I think it was last week or the week before And Zoom

was rubbish It was really crappy Audio But one on one It's good It's good quality I think the quality is as good as your phone Or as good as the lighting That you've got You know As good as what you're using it on So I was using My tablet Which is pretty good And the lighting seemed to be Quite good in there The tablet's got a very good picture Got a very good camera on it If I'd have used My laptop The picture would have been pretty much awful Because It's not a very good camera

If I'd have Used my phone The picture Would have been pretty good I guess It's an iPhone picture, it's not a new one But the picture would have been good But The screen's too small So I think if I do do anything If it's one on to one Unless It's just audio Which is fine, on the phone It's fine for audio But talking on camera I think I need To use my Tablet Plus it's a really good tablet I've got I've had it for For It's got to be over a year now And I originally

got it Because I wanted to start Doing some images and learn How to make images You know, for My podcast And maybe look into some kind of Video editing And to see I suppose learn how to use A tablet, because I've never really Not Really Loved Tablets You know, I had an iPad I think In 2011 I think it was And that was The first tablet I'd ever had And the only reason I got that is Because I moved into a place and the Internet reception was awful And The mobile phone company that I was

with said to me Now tell you what we can do I said We could offer you A contract I think it was 18 months I think it was But you get a free iPad And it's only about 7 years old And he wants to go down And go, alright see you later then mate You can come And cuddle if you want He doesn't know where he is He's very The reason he's confused is A lot of what he Does is by smell His vision's not great, he's not Got great vision, it's better at night When

the lights are off Apparently For some reason But he's And he's not nocturnal, he's everything I'm not sure What that means I don't know what the Correct term is because I don't care enough About it but It means Basically he's up And around day and night And he sleeps day and night So he's Asleep for, I don't know Let's say 18 hours a day But When he's awake, he's awake And he's awake at various Times 3 o'clock in the morning 2 o'clock in the afternoon 6 o'clock in the evening, you know he's different times And

sometimes it's for 10 minutes Sometimes it's for half an hour Sometimes if he's having Date night, it's for An hour and a half Solid An hour and a half I mean, he is Very considerate That's just what I'm thinking His girlfriend's A very, that's slippers, a very lucky young lady Or Or man, I really don't know I mean, you know, I'm open To whatever I'm not even sure that he'd be too Fussy to be fair I think it's Okay, I should Leave him alone now But I had this iPad So I had an iPhone Had

I had an iPhone?

No I don't think I'd even had an iPhone at that time No, I didn't No, I didn't I had one After that, because before that I had A Blackberry And I loved I loved the Blackberry I loved, I loved The Blackberry And I don't even know if they make them anymore But I've got to say it again, I loved I loved my little Blackberry in its little Case It was just I felt, not important Because that would be overstating it But I felt Almost like a A professional Yeah, that's probably the word, a professional And

I was a professional I was A professional counsellor And I was, you know So I was a professional But I felt like a bit more professional Than I really was Maybe I was doing well And I wasn't doing well Not financially Helped a few people I hope, but definitely Financially it's not going so good Not going so good at all But luckily My dad bailed me out So that was good But at least I'll tell you what happened Is, I don't know if I've Mentioned this before When I moved into this room This is the

dungeon room That I lived before I moved here I got a chest infection And I was ill For A couple of weeks Where I couldn't work Because I was counselling That was my job, that's all I was doing Counselling And I was self-employed And I couldn't sit in the room Coughing I wasn't able to talk So I was without coughing So I didn't I just thought there's no point Plus Even if you're in a room with someone And they're coughing Even though it's not a cold And it's not contagious It's just a chest infection It's

my own chesty thing It's going to be uncomfortable for the other person It's not nice So I Whenever I had a client That had a cough or anything I'd just Take a chair, walk into another room And I'd phone them I'd say, we have to continue the conversation on phone By phone, counselling session Is that okay?

Sometimes they'd say, where are you?

I said, well I'm in the coffee shop Across the road Well I'm on a bus on the way home But you know We've got to take care of ourselves And so I had two weeks off It was not a holiday At all, by any means And if I'd have been Doing a different kind of job I wouldn't have had as long off So even if I Had, if I'd have been working For somebody Provided it wasn't around public Because I wouldn't be coughing Around people But if I had my own kind of Almost solitary Kind

of place where I could maybe do Administration or something like that Or work in a factory Then having coughing And that wouldn't really have I think after the first week I'd have been okay But I didn't sleep for Yeah, I think it was Ten days I didn't sleep for I wasn't able to like properly sleep I did sleep, because we always sleep There's a whole There's an old I didn't realise this, but the fact is Everybody sleeps Even people that think they don't We all fall asleep At certain times And this can be checked By,

if you had a Pulse meter Attached to your thumb And it was recorded During the night Even if you thought you was awake I've been awake all night They can tell by the pulse rate Whether you're asleep or not What you And by, you know What's actually really more happened In your body So it's It's a weird thing But I didn't feel like I'd had any sleep, anyway I Actually made a couple of really good recordings Funny enough During that period When I had I managed to get an hour While I wasn't coughing I thought,

I'm going to make a recording And I did it, and it was a video So it was It wasn't as editable Editable As doing an audio like this So I could just keep pressing The pause button and cough all night And Still produce a recording Where I'm not coughing at all And you might think Well why don't you edit out the farts then But, you know It's Andre isn't it I think you need to be remembered for something I want to be remembered For something And The farting hypnotist But anyway I want to say thank

you to Rachel Because I was considering Doing This Doing some counselling Doing some counselling online Considering it Considering it enough To build a website page And to build an image And to promote it And To work out how to use Zoom And download an app Onto the website and all that stuff So yeah So I spent probably about four hours On this Maybe longer And then I realised that I didn't want to do it I don't know so much that I didn't want to But I don't feel up to it I don't feel I just

I think it's a case of Not that I don't want to but I can't offer that service Right now It's not like I don't offer that Sorry I do not offer that service But I can't And I can't like To It was going to be a free service as well But I don't think I can And Maybe in the future, who knows But at the moment I'm just happy To be able to make another recording right now That's quite cool And So I've got a lot done today But that, yeah so The reason I'm saying

a big thank you to Horatio Is because I contacted her On Facebook and said Are you around And she said yeah And I said What you wearing And she said My husband's downstairs Say that again And you're in trouble I said sorry, joking I said what's your husband wearing She said stop that I told you before No She said yeah I'm available I said do you want to do Well basically what I realised is You can do a Zoom private meeting But the other person doesn't have to Download Zoom Now that's Groovy So I can

And I've still got Zoom all downloaded And all ready so I can talk to people on Zoom By just Starting a private meeting And just sending the person The link They click on the link It shows me that they're in the room Or they're waiting to join the room I invite them I let them in And it goes from there You can talk audio Or you can talk on camera as well So that's good It's handy It's a really good thing to have actually If you Especially if you want to talk to someone On camera

I don't know It's I know Facebook is quite good But this seems to be I suppose it's It seems to be better than Facebook As far as The system And professional therapists Use the Zoom For their work So It must be reliable And although I've got the free one Which allows you to have up to 30 minutes Chat Or 30 minute meeting You know you can They charge, you can pay And it's not much either It's about $15 a month or something And to up it To maybe an hour Unlimited hour recordings And you know

You can also, I think they offer the one Where you can have more than one User So I suppose If I had a therapy Business With different therapists You know I don't know how it would work But I don't And I never will because I have no interest In such things God that might make me Some money, I don't want to be Keep that money away from me So I just I thought I'd mention just to say thank you to Rachel because it was early hours In the morning, it's got to be It was after

midnight I'm sure it was And So thanks for For being a good sport And giving me some Feedback as well And some good Ideas also So yeah So I tidied the place The punch bag Yesterday or the day before Whatever, today for me It's yesterday because I'm still awake now Yesterday Was today I was sitting on my computer I was sitting The laptop was there, I was sitting on the chair And I was sitting on the laptop What are you going to do Sometimes it vibrates And I was thinking I was looking at the wall,

looking at those three holes And thinking I wonder How can I How can I get that That rack It's a nice rack And how can I get it back On the wall So I need to screw that rack Back into the The thing is because the holes Are, have already been used Because sometimes When a hole is being used It's a bit, I don't know if it might be a bit floppy You know, not floppy but a bit more Wider Than it was before Because I've unscrewed The The Not the knob What was it called

The bolt, unscrewed The bolt And I've dropped it on the floor Which is annoying So I've got my diary out I've just dropped my bolt on the floor I like to keep track of what goes on in my life And I do the other one And I'm thinking that might have Because a lot of dust was coming out Of the, like the plaster Not plaster As in what you put on your finger when you've Someone Slashed you with a knife Or when you've accidentally, you know Been trying to Chop up your cornflakes or whatever And

slipped But the So I'm thinking I'm thinking Will it go in?

And will it have any kind of Grip Because if not Then I'll just have to start putting I'll have to put some, drill some new holes in Otherwise it's just going to be floppy I mean literally It'll be like wiggling around It'll be The rack won't stay still The rack will be all wobbly And I just I'm not I've got nothing against A wobbly rack, it wobbles a little bit Sometimes when I'm punching the back But it's not really supposed to So I thought what should I do?

And so what I did I got the bolts And without the rack I just put the bolts Back into the holes To see how far they would go in And to see if there was any kind of grip To see if they would And Well if they would If they go all the way in Which the right one did Went in and pretty much didn't even touch the sides It just went in Which means it was clearly Had been drilled way too much When the hole was Originally made And So I thought I need to

How can I Pack in The sides To make it a comfortable fit Because There's no point doing it If it's not comfortable If it doesn't fit in properly Then there's no point It's just a pointless exercise And so I kind of thought about it Then I remembered I have some no nails I don't know if you've heard of it Is it Gorilla No Nails Might be just a different brand But The adverts on television With no nails actually shows A Shelf Attached to the wall With no nails, just with this glue With a dumbbell on

top Which is one of the most ridiculous things No one, why would you put a dumbbell At head height On a wall On a shelf The shelf didn't have anything To stop the dumbbell from falling off You wouldn't do it Unless It was just a really Really really small wall And it was you know Only a few inches up from the floor But that's not really the point is it But the idea is It's supposed to be as good as nails As good as A good screw So I thought okay I'll try the glue I'll

try that And then I thought Why don't I Why don't I do both Because I like the idea, I'm a bit of an overkill person Sometimes I like to Cover all angles And I thought Okay I didn't have any sellotape So I couldn't use sellotape but I thought about How can I I don't know what the right word is but Because you can do that With something like packing the sides So that you know You get a bit of grip But then I thought What I'll do is this This is what I did I didn't

I left the punch bag on the floor Because it's too heavy to You can't do it at the same time Because it has to be put in first Screwed in So I left the punch bag on the floor Got the bracket I put, I had a tube Probably half a tube left Of this no nails Glue The thing is I can't remember what I used it for Isn't that weird So I bought that For a reason But I don't know what I used it for Because there was half A tube left What could I have

used it for Unless I might have been using it To put the pads On the wall The Yeah That's probably what I did I might have used it to put some of the soundproof pads On the wall which is just in front of the Punch bag Like the square ones Anyway So what I did is I got the tube And it Although it says No nails and it's glue But it's more like When you When you squeeze it White stuff squirts out It's more like That paste that you can Fill cracks in The things that

you Yeah you fill a crack The sort of stuff That you put into a crack to cover it over Let's say On a wall which is probably what I would have done With those holes And so If I decided To drill some more holes in the wall I'd have to cover those holes up So I probably would have used Some of that, I don't know what it is Is it plaster, cement or something But it's like that It's white gooey stuff So Almost like A bit like toothpaste really I suppose But But without the The

blue and red stripes Within So what I did is I Squirted the no nails glue Into each of the holes The one on the right Then on the one on the left Then the one at the bottom And I did it again and again and again Because I wasn't sure how much was going in But I wanted to be Compacted, I wanted to be Completely full Of the gunk You know I wanted it to be completely full Because In my mind That's the only way it was going to work Especially with the bolt on the

right hand Side because it didn't have any Grip And because the hole Was so flappy I had to I had to have something that was going to Set it and keep it in Well Then What I did is I was going to squirt some of the The no nails Onto the end Of the bolt The bit that's going into the hole But then I thought I don't need to There's already gunk Inside the hole I don't need to put it on the outside It's going to get covered as soon as it goes in So I

was quite happy with that Realisation Almost felt like a professor And Then what I did is Every bit that was going against the wall The The bracket at the top And the bracket at the bottom Where the holes were In the metal where you know The bolts go through and then go Into the holes in the wall I covered all of that with the No nails glue And I pushed it in I had to hammer The top a little bit to strain it out Because it bent Because it had been Basically hanging off the wall

for so long So I So I I put the screws in The nuts In rather With my hands To start with because It's hard to do With your feet when you're on a ladder So I just did it with my hands And up to the point Where I couldn't do it anymore Then I had a spanner That I was using to do it And It was going quite well The bottom one Perfect Like it was before Nice and tight And It's not moving anywhere Even without a glue It's very tight The one on the left

It went in fine The one on the right Loose So I tightened them all up Couldn't really do much With the one on the right I just sort of pushed it in really The one on the left I was tightening thinking this is going really well Because I was so excited And then it just kept turning So it didn't have anywhere to go So that wasn't very good either The one on the bottom Turned in and it was tighter and tighter So I couldn't turn any more So I thought Okay so The left one At

the top is in And it was I was turning it so it has screwed Into the wall It's just So it is in But I couldn't pull it out So it's kind of threaded But it's not You know it got to a point where It wasn't doing anything The one on the right is Almost ridiculous It's like a little clown Just making fun of me Blowing his little horn Driving around in a little car Coming in balloons So it was a bit annoying Spraying water all over me So all the others, the one at the

bottom Was sticking his thumb up at me Got it boss, good One on the left was like Did my best One on the right One left That was one on the right Just sticking his tongue out at me Just basically, don't care Alright, okay, fine enough, fair enough Let's see what we can do now then So what I did is I I got the rest of the No nail glue And I spread it All around Each of the metal bits So every bit That was attached to the wall I spread it around Deep, all the

way around Filled every single gap Also put it all around The front of the nut So it can't move So it can't turn Which means I'm never going to be able to get it off the wall ever But hey, never mind And I did it at the bottom as well So basically it's the most It's Tightest Rack Probably ever now Because I left it for 24 hours Didn't touch it For 24 hours I wanted to touch it But I didn't But I really Wanted to, but I didn't I wanted to, partly wanted just to Hold

on to the top Because it's a bit too high for me to I can't touch it I'd have to jump up to touch it And see whether it'd take my weight And I'm still not sure If it would, if I'm honest Because I'm a little bit heavier than that punch bag Quite a bit heavier But the punch bag's Pretty heavy as well So I just thought Oh, okay So I left it 24 hours I thought I'm going to leave it properly In fact it was more than 24 hours Because I did it in the afternoon

And then it was the early evening That I did it The following day So it's Probably about 30 30 odd, 35 hours or whatever 24 Yeah, probably about 30 hours So it's all dried Solid Absolutely solid I couldn't believe it Well I could believe it Because that's what it's supposed to do But at the same time I wasn't sure Because I kind of didn't do A very good job In fact it was someone else that did it But It wasn't the best job the first time Just because of that one hole on the right It's

basically just Over drilled really But now I put the bag back up I had to find The swizzle bit The swivel bit or whatever that was Inside a carrier bag Where Andre had been sleeping So I don't know how the heck he got that Now it doesn't seem like Something that he would pick up and run away with But who knows Hiding it from me I don't want you to hurt your hands Again daddy Dear son So I put the bag Up Managed to Get it Got a step ladder It was quite awkward to do

it on my own But I managed to do it And I had to use The Spanner or pliers or whatever To turn the thing To get it in But there was only Three straps in The fourth strap wasn't there I didn't realise there was four straps So I had to Take it off again and put it back on again And put all four straps together But now as I look at it It's not facing me Well it's facing I mean it hasn't got a face but The Before the everlast Front of it Was facing the

front Now it's at the side So there's the crease There's the little label coming out of it The little everlast label You know the kind of thing you have at the back of your shirt So okay So So It's bugging me a little bit I think I want to change it again But I had a little play with it earlier With my gloves on I need to find The The wraps, my hand wraps I don't know where they are Because I used to let Andre play with them Because they were in a bag I just

left them in a bag and he used to sort of Eat them and you know Do, oh wait a minute What did he do with them I don't mean did he hide them I mean what did he do with them when he had them I might have to wash them But I'm probably My plan is to Start doing a lot more Bag work Exercise in You know doing that I've got my sit up bench In here and I've got my weights over there They're only dumbbells but It's not put down They're dumbbells You know The

ones you put in your hand And you lift Them So Between that and I'd like to For the cardio I'm just going to sort of spend maybe An hour or so On the bag every day Or maybe 20 minutes every couple of hours or whatever But just not Like hitting the bag hard But just about a movement You know just sort of moving around A little bit and bending down And just gently tapping the bag It's not, it's almost Um Shadow boxing But with a bag really I guess So I'll Probably do that And it

might help me I might lose a little bit of weight And if I've got the Sit up bench which I've got Which is a body sculpture Since 1965 I've had that For over a year I think And It's been like an ornament really It's quite good for just leaving clothes on But now I thought Maybe I'll give it a go, maybe I'll use it So it's now in My living room So Yeah So I'm quite pleased with that I've cleared the floor I've put all of Andre's toys in his box Which is a big Lego

Lego Pictured box And all his stuff is in, well not all of his stuff But a lot of his stuff is in there And His little snake which is His child I found it In a Where did I find it It was in A Yeah I think it was in My dirty washing So I picked it up And I brought it into the living room And he just followed me Straight away, what are you doing dad What are you doing with him And I was just like, it's a pink Snake That probably needs cleaning But

he probably wouldn't forgive me If I did that so I can't It's all about smells with him He doesn't like Doesn't like things being washed Very much Includes himself Doesn't like being washed And So it's, the snake's got A couple of squeaky bits inside it So the tail squeaks But he grabbed it off me straight away But normally he hides him But he didn't, he just put him Down on the floor By, you know, underneath the Punch bag But I think if I had Picked him up again Andre would have grabbed him And took him

into the bedroom Or into the kitchen Or under the chair or something Like that, away from me Guaranteed it would have been removed It's there now, if I took a picture now Of the area That I'm looking at, because I'm on the opposite side Of the room, so there's the punch bag Hanging off the wall Off the rack There's a TV on the left There's the big black Squeaky chair That's fallen apart on the right Dumbbells On the floor And the little snake, or it's quite a big Thing, it's just lying On the floor there

If I took a picture now And I took a picture at 24 hours time I bet you that snake won't be there And I won't know where it is I'd be surprised When I go to bed, when I wake up I'd be surprised if it's still there It'll be gone somewhere That's what he does Does not, I don't know I'm surprised he left him there He's always moving things around Bless him So I tidied the place up I vacuumed The living room, the kitchen The bathroom, the hallway And most of the bedroom Couldn't get to

everywhere in the bedroom But I did most of it So I was able to put my Set of drawers Back into the bedroom Next to the bed So I don't have a wardrobe Well I do, but I don't need it So I'm giving it away to someone else That's currently In my storage room Because I've got, you know I love racks, you know So I've got two racks on my wall They're very similar to like You know the pull up racks You know in gyms The pull up bars But these would not take The weight,

they're not Sturdy enough for that But I've got two and I've got All the stuff that I've got And coat hangers on them Which means I don't need a wardrobe Which means it's good Because I can keep stuff off the floor Away from Andre So in the future I'm going to get Another two above this window Another two above my window In the bedroom So that I can dry clothes As well, just so they can be Above the radiator Or just out of the way really In the summer they can be Have some breeze coming

in Open the windows and Get a bit of breeze in And dry them that way So yeah that's probably something I'll do Over the next few months If I get around to, if I can And I'd like to have something On the wall For my Instead of the set of drawers I'd like to get rid of the set of drawers as well Just As much That's not on the floor as possible Anything that can go onto the wall Is a good thing I think But not everything Not like my chair You know, I started when

I was sitting Against the wall Like Wasn't that the cover of One of the Oasis songs Where he's sitting He's stuck to a chair He's sitting in a chair stuck to a wall Anyway, Leanne Gallagher So I really Really had a good old tidy up Good old clean up And I was sweating, proper sweating And the Sweat was just dripping down into my Glasses And the thing is It's not even a new thing When I used to do hoovering or vacuuming As a kid, when I was a kid We As a kid, when I was

a kid I used to sweat Proper sweat, it's something about the The vacuum cleaner Used to just make me sweat and sweat And sweat So it's always Been the same So it's nothing to do with age or Fitness levels It might be Something to do with that but I'm going to ignore it and pretend that it's Always been the same Yeah, yes There's something nice about looking around And seeing it's tidier It's Yeah Then I had A bath And then I had a nice cooked meal It was a microwave but it was Still a cooked

meal And Then I watched The Walking Dead The latest episode And then I made this recording So It's not, it's been quite You know, quite a I also signed up for a Udemy course Udemy Udemy Udemy It's an online Educational thing You can do certificates, diplomas and stuff like that So I signed up for a course On there and I'm thinking I'm going to perhaps do one of those a week Just to Yeah Get my brain A bit more operational Have more Going in than is going out Because at the moment See Usually I listen

to quite I do watch the news but usually the news Is quite varied And especially the world news You know, there's lots of things normally going on At the moment Not so much The talk radio, LBC That I normally listen to Again You know, they talk about different subjects It's not always It used to be about Brexit a lot But it's not always about that, it's about different things At the moment it's about one thing The whole time, so I kind of I'm not getting Stimulated, I found I haven't had My, I haven't had the

Stimulation that perhaps I would normally get From listening to the conversations That people are having on the radio Or on television Interviews, things like that So I think Doing some educational courses Would actually Perhaps get my brain going a little bit more And By putting some feed in Feed in it, you know, then I can perhaps Help stimulate Me to be more creative To say Other stuff and to do more Podcasts like the Sleep The Relaxation for stress and anxiety You know, those ones Because I can With this I can just talk about my day

And it's boring but With the, with some Of the other stuff I need to Not put more effort In but just I suppose have something to say Although I don't seem to run out of Things to say Even though I've got nothing to say Yeah And Still got quite a bit to do On the website As well, got lots of Stuff to do there So that's a never ending project In itself Which I quite like really, actually It's up to date, you know, all the new Stuff's on there but it's just Sorting through some of

the older stuff And it's Yeah, I quite like I quite like my website actually It's not a bad little website And What's the other thing?

Oh yeah The Andre I've moved Stuff around Trying to get Him to go to the toilet In the same places But just Using up less space And It's confused him because he's going by By smell rather than by Seeing a piece of paper He's also Going by memory By, he used to be He's half asleep a lot of the time when he's Going to the toilet, wakes up He runs the distance That he's used to running But now I want him to run further Even though it's only maybe a few steps And He got angry

with me earlier Because he was going to the paper But he was stopping in front of the paper About to go onto the Carpet and I moved him onto the paper I picked him up And he ran away And he ran to another bit of paper The other corner and then tried to go on the carpet And I put him on the paper Did it four times And the last time he did it I moved him, he hissed at me Like Hiss He does that with his slipper If I Especially if I take the slipper

off him And he goes Give me back my slipper, he gets angry But he also does it a bit when he's Sort of passionate A little bit But he's, he was snapping at me Really snapped at me But I'm trying to, you know, I'm trying to just Tidy this place up And I had him in the bedroom For a wet bit, I left him in there while I was Doing the vacuuming Because I didn't have any paper down and guaranteed He'll go to the toilet If there's no paper down Just out of Spite I think

But he I left him in there And I had the punch bag up I managed to get it up And I tidied the area around And I realised I could move All around the punch bag It's against the wall so I can't get I can't get underneath The other side of it Because I'd be outside But I can get to the left of it, to the right of it And in front of it Instead of just in front of it But now with Andre back Paper down I'm pretty limited to just in front of it

And it's just a shame I know it's I quite like to I do have a bracket Where I could Fit it to one of the beams In the ceiling Where I could go All the way around it so I could move And manoeuvre around the whole thing And so I might do something Like that but maybe Get a lighter bag, you know Just a small, a light bag So that it doesn't take Don't put too much pressure And I can just take it On and off, so I don't leave it there The whole time, just

unclip it when I'm not Using it And just use it More as a cardiovascular Movement kind of thing In fact, after talking about that I think I'm going to do that Yeah, that would be Good, because then I could just move the table Attach it To the ceiling, make sure it's in Properly, but have it light enough So it's not putting any pressure on the Beam And it'll be basically just a Bag, be like a kit bag Size, which a Punch bag is pretty much the size of a kit bag You know Like army kit

bags And But instead of being full of I've got no idea What's in there but Like for a heavy bag If you did it yourself, it'd be maybe Sand or sawdust And which would make it Pretty much heavy Than that one actually But a heavy bag is, you know Heavy But a soft, a light one Would have maybe Rags Rags in it, you know Maybe paper even, just your bits Just to puff it out But so it's not All heavy It's just there, you don't want it to be light So it just floats away but

Just have it so it's there So rags would be It means so you could It's not Weightless, it's not going to float off to Space But it's going to be Light at the same time, if that makes sense So it'd be more a case of Just touching it, moving around, touching it Just touching it and moving around Wouldn't need gloves on or anything for that So yeah, I might do that actually Thinking about it And the punch bag itself I think you can buy light ones But you can also buy punch bags Without anything in

them Because I used to, when I was I think 14 When I first started using punch bags I had two Punch bags I bought one Pretty much the same as what I've got now Actually And it was I'm not sure which was the Heavy one and which one was the light one Don't recall But my dad Had another bag which was like a Kit bag So he Yeah He put a thing into the ceiling Because he had this workshop at the bottom In the garden and he had a bit of it Where I could use

as a gym So I'd put the weights down there And stuff So two punch bags, a heavy one and a light one One was full of rags And the other one was full of sawdust Obviously the sawdust one was Proper heavy And So I'd kind of move around because It's nice to just do both Plus It's nice to punch A bag really hard and feel like You're hitting hard Because if you do that To a soft bag The bag or light bag The bag moves around If I'm doing really well here But if you do

it to a really heavy bag Sometimes the bag just sort of Laughs at you Like, what was that?

That was supposed to be a punch, was it? What was it?

And it's A bit embarrassing so It's nice to have the light ones as well And Yeah, I might do that That would be cool Yeah, it's like going back to my childhood Wow I'd like to get a curl bar as well Because I've got dumbbells But it'd be nice to have a bar Possibly a couple of bars Like a normal barbell But also a curl bar Which is If you don't know what it is It's basically It's straight along Because a barbell is just straight And then you put the weights on the end But the

Yeah, if I remember rightly The curl bar It comes from out Then it goes underneath And then up and then across again So you can put your hands Underneath it And curl it And also, if I remember It had a bit which actually Stopped the weights from going So you could put the weights on the end And all you need to do is I'm pretty sure it had like a screw A screw thing Which screwed the The end bit on But it had a blocker So the weights, you didn't have to have a I do

know what I'm talking about But I don't know what I'm talking about At the same time I don't know what the words are But that was quite good And there was Another one I had, what was it The tricep bar I don't know if it's called The tricep bar or not But it's basically It's when you're holding A zig-zong along A bing-a-bong, bang-bong-bong And it's, you put it behind your neck With your head, you just like Push it up It sounds like I'm making it up I'm not honest I'm not I'll tell you what was

Not embarrassing, but I used to do weights When I was a kid And you know I'd punch in Bags, did karate, all that stuff And my dad had this It's like this bend thing Not chest expander But he had a chest expander as well So my dad's a big Strong man, but I This thing was a thing, you bent it And it's like Rubber Handles And you basically Bent it in half Like bending an iron bar, but it's not really I couldn't do it My dad could do it And it wasn't even an effort, it's

just like Easy And eventually I was able to do it It took me Probably About a year To be able to actually do it Not easily, but to do it without Being embarrassing Without it Sometimes I'd do it and it'd slip out of my hand And it'd bounce back and hit me in the head It did actually hit me in the face a few times Because it was bendy But eventually I was able to do it But my dad just It's so easy, honestly, just used two fingers Like Yeah He didn't use two fingers, I'm

exaggerating At least I'm honest about my exaggerations At least I'm honest At least I'm honest about my dishonesty Yeah So What else was I going to say That's about it really I'm glad to have tidied this place up I feel like I've Progressed a little bit today Sort of done something You know Even just had a bath But just Just Got the punch bag up So tomorrow I'll start my training Because I didn't There was no point, I was sweating And already knackered anyway From all the moving around And lugging stuff around So now tomorrow

My plan It's a very very flaky plan I'll be honest My plan is to Do sit-ups regularly Throughout the day Maybe just 20 or 50 Or whatever You know right And just a couple of hundred sit-ups You know every hour or so And Do the weights And then Get on the punch bag And maybe do that a few times A day Throughout the day You know for the next few weeks And just Work up a nice sweat Lose a few pounds Maybe And Also do it So I'm working on my cardiovascular So it's not just

about It's not going to be about punching the bag It's more about Doing it lightly and a lot of movement And Like quick punches but gentle ones You know it doesn't have to be fast Fast but not hard And A very considerate puncher And just About getting sweaty and maybe Sweat off some of this fat Maybe Yeah So it should be groovy Should be very groovy Now I've got my bag back Yeah So that's it I think I'm going to go Now Thank you very much for Listening Take care of yourselves And everybody Do what

you need To do to be Safe Do what you need To be safe And happy Ha ha ha ha Ha ha ha ha Happy So take care of yourselves Remember to be kind to yourself And You deserve to be happy You do Be gentle To yourself Lots of love Bye
