Hello, welcome to Jason Newland talk. My name is Jason Newland and this is Let Me Bore You to Sleep. Please only listen to this when you can safely close your eyes.
Now, now, now, now. So, oh yeah, please subscribe to this here podcast and, um, yeah, that's it really. Just to let you know that from now on forever and ever and ever I've decided that this free service has to stay free in every aspect of freedom-ness.
So the website, I've spent a few days putting prices on the downloads, don't know why that's funny, but you know, um, as well as still keeping the recordings free to listen to, but it just doesn't sit well with me. It's almost like I feel ill when I've kind of put things for sale. So it has to be free, otherwise I'm just not going to do it and I don't know what the solution is like long-term, but hey, it's, uh, staying free because if, you know, I've took, I put the adverts onto the podcast for about a day and I've taken them off again because even that, I know that annoys some people and I just, yeah, it's weird, isn't it?
I don't quite know what it is.
Yeah, I was trying to think, is that self-sabotage? Something that I do talk about occasionally and I know that I've got that going on, but in some ways I feel like the self-sabotage is when I make things available to be downloaded for a price and I de-self-sabotage, I undo the self-sabotage, when I make everything free again and that makes no sense logically, but I just feel better within myself when it's free. It was supposed to be a free service and it's got to stay a free service, otherwise I just don't want to do it and I know that some people listening to this might think, yeah, well, how's this supposed to make me fall asleep?
Can't you talk about your stats? That's interesting and I, yeah, I suppose some people listen to this podcast or some people listening, you know, to the individual podcasts I do may not be aware that I do more than one podcast. They may not be aware that I've got six, well, I've got over 35 podcasts, but yeah, it's over 1500 or 1500 recordings since 2006 and the, so I'm kind of juggling the various podcasts that I do.
So I do this one, this is very close to my heart and this is the one where, um, that I've been doing for a long time now. It's, wait, I start doing this, yeah, over two years now I've been doing this and this is three episode or recording 331, I think, of this. So, yeah, it's important to me and out of all the podcasts that I do, this is probably the one where people say, please don't ever stop doing them, just this particular podcast.
It's not the only one that I get, um, I nearly said fan mail then, not fan mail, um, messages of support or messages of gratitude or, I don't know, whatever you want to call it, where people say thank you for, you know, for what you're doing and, and the relaxation hypnosis for stress and anxiety, you know, I get quite a bit of, uh, well, I get a bit of positive feedback from that one as well, but this one seems to be more personal, I seem to get more personal.
Um, I kind of got to know a few people through this podcast, a little bit, you know, like Molly, hi Molly, uh, Rachel, um, uh, more, not more, not more, then the, the, the noises aren't coming into my head, the voices aren't working like they normally do, Maureen, uh, maybe not, Madeline, Sarah, I could have just made it up, can I hear Sarah, Susan, Paula, Geronimo, and Gerardine, Bertrude, you know, lots of, uh, Elizabeth, but we don't mention her because she lives in a castle, and it's not meant to mention that she listens, hello your majesty, hope you're well.
So, yeah, um, I'm kind of in between doing this recording for fun, by the way, I'm sitting in my big black squeaky chair today, because I didn't want to sit in the other chair, yeah, I had a headache earlier, it's gone now, but yeah, oh, I mentioned that my sleeping habits changed, and this is, this happens every now and then, but, um, you know, my preference is to go to bed about six in the morning, maybe seven, but about six, and then get up maybe two o'clock in the afternoon, but due to the circumstances, lifestyle-wise,
with the downstairs flat being re-maintained, or with electricians drilling and stuff, getting the place ready for the new wonderful neighbours, and so sleeping during the day is not even an option, but what was strange is the change in my sleeping habits started before they started doing the work downstairs, so I'd already was awake during the day, when I heard all the banging and the drilling and the me-me-me-me, you know, that's the sound of an electrician working, me-me-me-me, and so it's kind of quite fortunate, because unless I'd had earplugs, I wouldn't be able to sleep through
it, because it's fairly, uh, very soundy, lots of sound, very soundy, so, you know, I'm kind of, the only thing what does, what it does though, is I then need to make the recordings during the day, or in the evening, and it's a little bit more difficult to get a peaceful period of time, where I know that I'm not gonna get disturbed, I mean, it's not guaranteed at night, but it's much more possible to say, well, it's two o'clock in the morning, I'll do a recording, and no one's gonna knock on my door, no one's
gonna be in the garden yelling at each other, or anything like that, so it's nice, you know, I can do that, but during the day, you never know, honestly, I just, it's, it's seven minutes past four in the afternoon, and I've got no idea, you know, if someone's gonna knock on the door, I've turned the phone off, so no one can ring me, but there's no way you've known, so I've just got to kind of just accept that this is how it is at the moment, that's why I need to get my recording studio soundproofed,
so I can start making recordings in there, because once that's soundproofed, I can, well, hopefully, if it goes to plan, I've got a very, very specific plan in my head, goes to plan, I'll be able to sit in there through a thunderstorm, and someone in the living room playing a drum set, and I won't be able to hear them, I don't want someone to be in the living room playing on a drum set, but how do I know that my new neighbours aren't going to be doing that, you know, there's no way of knowing what
someone's going to be, I might have a trumpet player moving, oh, so, I mean, to be fair, if that's the case, then I'll be sleeping in the shed, I'll, you know, my plan, if, as soon as I can, is to get the thickest, most soundproofed carpet that I can get to put into this flat, into all the rooms, first of all, and probably the bedroom, and then the living room, and then soundproof all the walls, so it may be, because I've got the living room quite well soundproofed, there's still a fair bit to do, but
I've got the whole of one wall, and most of another wall, completely covered in soundproof foam, so I need to have the equivalent on the floor, but I don't know, the thing is, it might be the case if they can't hear me, but I might still be able to hear them, because I'm soundproofing myself from them, I want it to be so that I can't hear them, and that they can't hear me, so I'm going to get some thick, thick carpet, soundproof carpet, or tiles, or something as thick as the skirting board, that's my plan,
so a good kind of, I don't know, two, three inches thick, so that'll be good, and because I'm only about four foot three, which means I'm not going to be banging my head on the floor, on the floor, on the door, not on the door, not the wall, the ceiling, that's it, so yeah, I just need to do whatever is necessary to make sure this place is nice and quiet, and then I can perhaps get some soundproofing for the windows, I'm not sure how to do that, I know one way of doing it, but it's
going to cost, well it's basically a case of making a plug for the window, out of soundproofing foam, and I've got big windows, so that's going to take a lot of foam, and also it might be quite heavy, but I could probably do it in two pieces, maybe even three pieces, so there's ways of doing it, and I could just plug that into the window, which would just block out all of the sound from outside, I'm guessing, and I could do the same with the bedroom, and yeah, so there's a fair bit to do, but
it's quite nice in a way, it's quite nice to have some plans, and knowing that this is what I want to do, and this is my life, and I'll be doing this, I say forever, but I've been having heart palpitations today again, so I don't know about forever, I've not felt very well for the last few days, it's weird, I woke up this morning at eight, I woke up at four, then I woke up at eight, and I got up, because I thought four o'clock in the morning, I like four o'clock in the morning, but
it's not a great time to wake up, because I did that yesterday, I woke up yesterday at four o'clock in the morning, and I made two recordings to let me boil to sleep, no, not that one, I made a, no I did, I made a let me boil to sleep, did I?
Deep sleep whisper, relaxation for stress and anxiety, I think I made three recordings yesterday, but then at one o'clock in the morning, I started to do the let me boil to sleep for today, which is what I'm doing now, but I got 18 minutes into it, and I could not, I couldn't function, I was so tired, so tired, I had to just stop recording, and I just deleted what I'd said, and I went and just went to bed, because I was just completely knackered, but when I woke up this morning at eight, well at four
o'clock, I felt awake enough to get up, but I just thought no, so I woke up at eight, got up, I felt good, I felt all right, had me breakfast, you know, did that stuff, and I felt ready to go out, you know, I had a, my benefits came in today, which means I could go and get some food, and it was like, okay, pay off, I paid off a bill for straight away, and then just thought, yeah, I feel okay, ended up going to, not to town, but just some shops up the road, but
got a bus, because it's not a walking distance, and a friend went to the doctor's, I looked after his dog, while he did that, and went to the shops, got a few bits of food, and got off the bus again, because he wanted to go to another shop and get something, and got onto another bus back, and then I started having a headache, and it's weird, so I came up here, I took some tablets for the head, for the head, for my head, had something to eat, because I think I was, I was hungry, and
that's another, that's probably the weirdest part of having the sleep changing, is I'm eating at different times, it almost feels like I'm eating at weird times, and it's kind of, I can't quite get my head around it, I mean, I can sleep anytime, but I can't eat anytime, this doesn't feel right, you know, for some reason, I don't know why, and so what I did is, I had some tea cakes, and I took the tablets, but my head was still throbbing, so I went to bed, and I don't know how long I was in bed,
what time, 12, 1, 10, 30, I don't know, maybe an hour and a half, I was in bed, and I woke up, and the headache was gone, it had scarpered, and I actually woke up feeling good, I woke up, and I lied on my back, and just thought, oh, yeah, this is nice, sometimes it's nice to feel good, isn't it, so I'll just lay in there, what I sometimes do is, I manipulate my body, manipulate my body, and it's probably not the right, correct term, but I spread my leg, no, not spread, I spread my
body, I stretch, basically, I just stretch, and try and stretch my lower back, and just like that, my back creaks, and I have a good old stretch, it's quite nice, it's almost stretchy, stretchy, stretchy, stretchy, stretchy, and then I got up, and the headaches, you know, it's gone, I'm feeling okay, but the palpitations are still kind of playing around, they're lingering, which is a bit weird, but I think what's happened is, I think it's more to do with my acid reflux, and eating at weird times, which isn't weird, it's like normal times, but, you know,
eating during the day, instead of at night, yeah, I don't know, I think the ideal situation for me, really, would be to just, yeah, I'd like to just do the nights, be awake at night, do what I want to do, but maybe not be awake as long as I am, so perhaps go get to bed by 3 or 2, which is doable, because then it means I'm still getting up at 10 in the morning, so perhaps I'll try and do that, perhaps I'll try and compromise, perhaps, because compromising sometimes is something that some people do,
which might be something that I could do, here's a question, here's a question, whenever I see film footage of beaches in America, you know, like, is it Venice Beach, is that such a place?
They always seem to be huge beaches, but not many people on the beach, you know, people spread out, but not many people, you know, and yeah, lots of people in the sea, possibly, but not many people actually in the or on the beach, and the beaches are perfect, sandy, you know, just perfect beaches, as far as it goes, yet if you go to any beach, well, not any, but most beaches in England, and on a hot summer's day, the beach will be absolutely packed, solid, solid, I mean, I don't know, I was going to say,
like Green Street on a Saturday afternoon, or Oxford Street, like really, really, really busy, like everyone literally just like one human being attached to each other, just, but on the American beaches, they seem to be really spaced out, and not that kind of, I mean, I'm not saying that in England, people are sitting on each other's heads on the beach, you know, it's not that, you know, there was a little bit of space, but not a lot, and these, even on some beaches that are a bit grotty, and that are like stones, and not sand,
doesn't stop the English people, we seem to love it, I say we, I'm not one of those, because I can't, I'm not really allowed out in the sun, wish I could, I would love, I'm talking love to sunbathe, in fact, I would probably put the effort in to make myself a bit more physically acceptable to the human eye, if I was able to go out in the sun, you know, I'd probably get a little bit slimmer, because, I'll be honest with you, I want to be able to lay down on a beach without all the
other sunbabies vomiting when they see me, so I want, I want to be able to, I want to be able to, and look at that, wow, yeah, I want to be able to, if I was going to do that, I'd want to have a good body, or, I don't know if good is the right word, because I used to, I've been on the beach once, I think, as an adult, and I always burn, you know, pretty much, as a child and as an adult, I'd burn, but the, as an adult, it was, I don't know,
I didn't feel self-conscious when I was a kid, not physically, and I think maybe most kids don't, I'm talking like, child age, eight years old, nine, ten, and I didn't, yeah, there was nothing to be self-conscious of, so I'd run around, and I suppose the only thing really I'd be, skid marks would be something I should have been a bit self-conscious of, or maybe aware of, but I used to, you know, just run around and top off, but the thing is, back then, I moved so quickly that the sun couldn't catch me, so I'd get
a little bit burnt, but I'd be moving the whole time, and if I did sunbathe, I'd be having, I'd do it with clothes on, I could get away with my arms, but I'd have, you know, I'd have to have something on me, yeah, but you, you don't need that, because just use sunblock, this sounds like yesterday's conversation, sunblock, so what I thought I'd do today is share with you, if only I could find the remote control, I've got no idea where it is, I used to have it, where's it gone, where's the remote control gone,
oh there it is, I do apologize for the squeakiness, but hey, it's all part of the, it's all part of the entertainment, the squeaky chair, and you know, what I thought I would do, every time I breathe, the chair squeaks, it's ridiculous, I haven't recorded anything in this chair for quite some while, and I just realized that maybe it wasn't the greatest idea, never mind, and so I'm going to go through with you, with you through, and some of the streaming channels that I watch, hey isn't that exciting, and or some of the programs rather
that I watch, so I'm going to start with Netflix, so I click on Netflix, I've got the volume down, so you can't hear every time I swap over to a net, you know, click it through, awesome, now my problem with Netflix is almost that it's too good, in a sense of, they just produce too much stuff, and I can't keep up with it, I think even in my old days, when I was a complete TV fanatic, I don't think I'd have struggled with Netflix, this is so much, so what I'm going to do is go
through, oh where is it, I'm going to go through my programs, I say mine, you know my, oh come on, gritty US, spin worthy TV programs, Netflix original, oh yeah, okay, I want to just find my, I'll watch it again, it's kind of like mine, isn't it, they're the ones I've watched, but it's not letting me click on all, which is what I want, because some of these streaming channels will let you click on all, so you can kind of see exciting US scary TV, there's so much to choose from, new releases, popular on Netflix,
continue watching, my list, okay, here we go, so this is my list, some of them I haven't actually watched, I've just added it to my list, because I'd like to watch it sometime, so Van Helsing, so I've yet to watch that, it's always sunny in Philadelphia, now I have watched, I used to watch it, I think I watched the first probably five, six seasons, that's 14 seasons, so I'm well behind, happy, happy, it's a TV show called happy, and it's, I've watched the first episode, but there's always something else to do, but I will eventually
end up watching it, there's two seasons of that, and Bear Calls Saul, now I watched this when it first came out, because it's the prequel, prequel to Breaking Bad, starring the, Saul Goodman, the character, one of the lead actors in the Breaking Bad show, then American Horror Story, I've seen, I think I watched the whole of the first season, the second season, I just found it a bit weird, but I know that I've got to stick with it, so I will go back to it, Power, never watched one of those, but it's supposed to be
good, there's six seasons of that, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, it's five seasons on Netflix, but I've not watched, I did it, but I've not watched it, I've just seen the odd one on telly, this is one of my favourite shows, this next one, Santa Clarita Diet, and that's with Drew Barrymore, and Timothy Olyphant, now Drew Barrymore is one of my favourite ever celebrities, actresses, I just love her, I think she's great, and Timothy Olyphant, he's so damn handsome, what I would, oh, I'd love to look like him, it's weird, you know, sometimes, who would you look like
to look like, I think he would be what I'd like to look like, more than even Brad Pitt, saying that though, but yeah, I don't know, or George Clooney, that's just so, yeah, I'm not in love with him, I'm just saying that I'd like to look like him, because yeah, that'd be nice, never mind, I said Santa Clarita Diet, or Clarita Diet, if you ain't seen it, and you'd quite like to, then I suggest you watch it, because it's really good, I won't tell you any more than that, to be fair, and I think, yeah,
I've watched every episode, no, wait a minute, yeah, I have season three, so I don't know when the next season's coming, so ironically, well, it's not ironically, there's no irony involved, but in, the first time I saw Clarita's Diet thing, was when a mouse arrived in my living room, and I couldn't be in here anymore, and I was in my bedroom, watching Netflix on either a tablet or laptop or something, and I saw the first couple of episodes of the Santa Clarita, is it Santa Clarita?
Oh my goodness, yeah, Santa Clarita Diet, and I thought, wow, this is brilliant, so yeah, I kind of watched it after that, I've got Dolomite Is My Name, which is Eddie Murphy, and so I've not watched that yet, so I've yet to watch that, I've got Dark in the small town fought with sins and secrets, his story repeats itself in terrifying ways, it's happening again, so there's two seasons, but I've not seen that, so I've added it to see, Star Trek Discovery, okay, well, I watched, I can tell you what I've watched, there's two seasons,
I watched the first season, and I really liked it actually, and then the second season, I've watched up to episode five of the second season, and there's 14, so I need to kind of get my, get myself on that one, next along is In the Shadow of the Moon, and it's a film, oh, it stars Boyd Holbrook and Michael C Hall, so I've not seen that, but I do plan to, now this is another of my favourite film, TV shows, and it's not going to be for everyone, because it is quite, the content is, and
you can see for yourself, but it's basically Ricky Gervais, it's called Afterlife, or After Life, and season two is coming in 2020, so that's something to look forward to, it's little things, isn't it, they're little things, because The Walking Dead is coming back next week, I think, there's a World Heavyweight fight next weekend, and it's two things to look forward to, and anyway, it's a really, what I thought, it's a really, really, really good show, there's some moments in it that are just brilliant, Ricky Gervais is a genius at writing, and maybe even performing, he's,
yeah, it's a really good show, that's all I'll say, it's really, really touching, and yeah, great.
Another Life, this is a TV show, and I think I watched the first episode of that, but again, it's hard to keep track, there's so much, there's so much. The next one is Schitt's Creek, now I discovered this on the same night as I discovered the Drew Barrymore show, when that mouse appeared, and I just thought, wow, I just really enjoyed it, but I'm behind, I'll tell you how far behind I am, there's five seasons, and I'm only up to season three, episode six, so I've got a bit of catching up to do. Next is The Last Kingdom, and how much of that did I watch? Season one, episode four, oh yeah, I remember, yeah, so that's good.
This is something that I watched when it first came out, I really liked the first season of it, but the second season didn't really quite get into it, and Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, so I've only got up to, right, I got up to episode, it only played episode one, season two, so it was another nine episodes to listen to, so I didn't really get into that. The next thing is, I've added this one, it's called Woo Assassins, because it starts off, it's got a little bit where there's a waitress being, talking down and being condescending to a couple of Chinese or, you know, people, but they're not, they're American, I don't know, something like that, but it's like martial arts, so it'd be, I'm gonna, I'm gonna watch it, but it's just, it's finding the time.
Here's another one, Hemlock Grove, so how much of that, Hemlock Grove, oh, according to this, I've not even watched one, that's weird, that's not true, surely, maybe it is, oh well, so yeah, that's two, three seasons, and so I'm going to need to catch up with that, according to this, I've not even watched one episode, and the next one is Night Flyers, one season, and so, again, there's something to catch up with or to watch, I've not even started watching that, so now we've got to the Umbrella Academy, now I've not finished watching this, I
watched the first four episodes, but there are 10, well, actually, I've only watched the first three, I've watched about five minutes of episode four, so that's another one to get into, but it's good, it's a good film, or good TV show rather, there's only one season of that one, the next one is Roman Empire, now I have watched a bit of this in the past, but I added it because I thought it'd be nice to just watch the whole thing, but I haven't got around to that yet, oh, Trainwreck, this is Shuma, Amy, isn't that
Amy Shuma, it's a film that she did, so I'm pretty sure, yeah, I've watched that, so it needs to be deleted, if I delete it from my list, or I lose the order I'm in, so I'll get rid of it another time, now this next one is something that I really loved when I first started watching it, it's called Once Upon a Time, there's seven seasons now, and how much have I watched, see, I must have, I must have watched this on a different platform, because it's not holding any of my yeah, that's weird, so
none of my recording, none of the times I've watched, because when I go into it, it shows me, it's a big red line underneath each episode, and it shows me which ones I've watched, or how much of it I watched, so I've been on Netflix for years, blimey, oh god, 10 years, 9 years, I'm not always a member, I kind of become a member every now and then, stop, if I haven't got the money for it, but yeah, I've been, I signed up then, probably 2011, maybe 2012, so maybe it's eight years, so I wouldn't
even know where I was, what point I was on the whole thing, but I really liked it, but for some reason I stopped watching it, and I think part of the reason I stopped watching some of these things was simply because of the internet connection being awful, like really awful, where I couldn't even stream Netflix or YouTube, and so I haven't had that problem for a long time, but it was a bit of an issue for a while, now Black Summer, this is another one, one season, I think I watched, have I not watched it,
yeah I have, it's saying watch episode one, but I've watched, I've watched every episode, yeah, I watched the whole thing, I quite liked it actually, it's, it should be another series, but it's basically another kind of walking dead thing, but the thing is, it's quite nice to see new characters in a completely different scenario and environment, and to get to know the characters, and you know, one's, you know, is the person trustworthy, and all that stuff, a little bit like at the beginning of The Walking Dead, when that first started, you never really knew who
was who, and who could be trusted, and now the characters are so established, you know, if you watch it, you know who's who, of course you don't always know who's who, but you know generally, like with Maggie, and yeah, the main people, Rick, the people that were in it, and been in it for years, and, but with the Black Summer, and I hope they do do another season, because it's good, and that was 2019, so it should be a new one, so I will watch that.
Gracey, Grace and Frankie, now I added this, because I heard that it's really, really good, and also it's Lily Tomlin, who's an absolute comedy legend, and is it Jane Fonda, as well, who's about 90, but she looks about 50. I think it's, maybe it's not, but anyway, Lily Tomlin earned four Emmys, the nominations, and the Golden Globe nomination for her role in this comedy series, so I'll just put it on there, six seasons, but I've not watched it yet.
Now the next one on Netflix is From Dusk Till Dawn, I watched the first, oh, for some reason it's not, again, I think I watched this, maybe on Amazon, in the past, so it's got three seasons, but I watched the first few episodes, when it first came out, and it was very strange, it's just very strange, and yeah, it's based on the film, and it's Robert Rodriguez, he created the show based on the film that he directed, so, you know, it's From Dusk Till Dawn, anyway, I shall watch that at some point.
The Big Bang Theory, I've got that saved, there's 12 seasons, I don't know how many, it's probably not got all the seasons that's available, although I think the Big Bang Theory is now finished, isn't it, so maybe all are on there, it's on all the time on telly, constantly on, like every single day of the week, there's a few episodes, at the weekend they sometimes play six, seven, ten episodes back to back, on some of the, you know, free view channels, so I have watched a few along the way, but I almost kind of want
to watch, I kind of want to watch the, from start to finish, I don't know if that makes sense, I want to watch episode one all the way through, to the end, and I don't know if season 12 is the last one they did, season 12, it is, season 12, episode 24, the Stockholm Syndrome, in the series finale, okay, so I will get around to doing that, you know what's really weird is, my friend, I've got one of my closest friends, he absolutely hates the Big Bang Theory, like with a vengeance, there's something, it just
rubs him up the wrong way, he just can't stand it, so what I did is, I was setting up the internet, my internet on his phone, downstairs, because he got a new phone, so I was setting up the internet, to see if it worked, because to see if he could get my internet on his phone, down in his flat, and I said, does this sound familiar, and I played, I played the theme tune on YouTube of the Big Bang Theory, the whole universe has been a Big Bang, you should have seen his face, it's funny,
and okay, Fargo, now the first season of Fargo, I loved, I mean, I loved, loved, loved, loved, now the second season, that made me reminded of what the second season was, now the second season, oh yeah, okay, second season, I loved, and the third season, for some reason, I couldn't get into the third season, and then when I did, I loved it, it was just, I think what it was, is I needed to, I had to watch the first episode of season three, a couple of times before I could get into it, which was a
bit weird, considering how much I enjoyed the show, but every season, every episode is great, Fargo is one of my favourite TV shows, and so I hope that they bring another one out, and I will watch it, it's one of those burners, it keeps going, and it just, it still manages to surprise, which is very rare, just generally in life, for me, I find, so the next one is The Crown, now I think The Crown would be classed as being among the best TV shows, you know, it's hugely successful, and I've watched a little bit
of it, but again, I want to, I just don't get the time, or don't, it's not so much the time, but I don't know, I just don't, I've watched episode two, so episode one and two, out of the three seasons, and I am going to watch it, I really, really am going to watch it, the next thing I've got is, I don't, I don't feel at home in this world anymore, so I watched this, but I only watched a bit of it, it's a film, so I didn't really get too far, it's got Harry Potter
in, I think, yeah, it has got Harry Potter in it, has it, maybe it hasn't, shameless, this is the American version of the TV show, I just haven't been able to watch it, I watched the first episode, according to this, no, I watched about three minutes of the first episode, and there's eight seasons, as a big fan of the original show, the English version of shameless, it was such an amazing show, that I'm a little bit scared to watch the American version, a little bit, probably scared is overstating it, but a little bit like, you
know, I don't want to, it's not that watching the American version is going to ruin the, or watching the copy would ruin the original, because in some ways, I enjoyed the American version of The Office more than the English one, and I think because the English one was really good, but the American version, they, Steve Carell, I mean, is an amazing actor, comedy actor, but they just got very creative with it, and yeah, I just really enjoyed watching it.
Now, what I actually did, are you ready for this? What I actually did, and I did this for Frasier as well, back in 2013, or was it 2014, I watched every single episode, back to back, I mean, not, obviously, I didn't just sit there all day watching it, but I was watching, you know, three, four episodes a day, every day, until I finished the entire, is that true? I did that with The Office, I think what I did, yeah, I did that with The Office, and watched every episode all the way through.
With Frasier, what I did is, every morning, I watched two episodes, which is kind of a bit ironic, again, probably not the right using of that term, but now there's two episodes on every single morning, when I eat my breakfast, if I have my breakfast in the morning.
So next one is iZombie, I watched two episodes of that, so that's good, but again, it's five seasons, it's just, it's the commitment, isn't it? Black Mirror, now, if you've never watched Black Mirror, and it is, it is, I don't know how to explain it, what's the best way to explain the Black Mirror? And it's possibly one of the weirdest things you'll ever watch, but I'd suggest watching it, it's very futuristic, it's very, yeah, it's really good, but I'm well behind on it as well, because it's five seasons, and I've watched, how many have I watched?
Oh, that's weird, all right, I watched the first, yeah, I watched the first season, so Glow, this is another one I've not yet watched, a comedy about the sisterhood that rocked the wrestling world, and, but I've not watched any of that yet, Our Homeland, see, I watched this from, I think I might have even watched it on television, when it first came out, and I watched the first, I'm sure I watched the first season, yeah, but I never ended up getting past the first season for some reason, and now there's seven seasons, in fact, I
think, and I've got now the, pretty sure I've now got another season coming out, it's on telly anyway, so it might be the one that's there, anyway, Sons of Anarchy, Sons of I watched the first, what did I watch?
I watched the first episode, and that was it, yeah, it's supposed to be really, really good, so I need to go back to it, so I will do, El Camino, which is, I don't know, it's about Jesse from Breaking Bad, and it's a film, and for some reason, I started watching it, and I didn't really like it, so I stopped watching it, it's not that I didn't like it, I just, I don't know, it's like going back, kind of going backwards, I suppose it's kind of, I don't know, it'd be like rediscovering the love of
my life, that I haven't seen for 20 years, and meeting up, and you know, finding out that she's had a sex change, so it's kind of just, it's probably nothing like that, but Love, Death and Robots, 18 unique worlds, 18 visceral tales, for adults only, so that's something I need to, I'm gonna watch, Zoo, Zoo again, this is one that I wanted to watch, those three seasons, and I just didn't get around to it, there's so many, there's so damn many, I'll give you a list of some of the others, Jessica Jones, Peaky Blinders, The
Kaminsky Method, which is Michael Douglas, it's really good in that, The Daredevil, Merlin, Orphan Black, so Orphan Black's supposed to be really, really good, another one I watched there, Advitam, Haunted, Happy Valley, Narcos, not watched that, Sabrina, I have, but I'm still a little bit behind on that one, Only Fools and Horses, The Mind Explained, oh okay, Maniac, Episodes, Bitten, Orange is the New Black, I loved that TV show when it first came out, I mean I'm talking, loved it, but I think what it was, is I had to, I went a while without being
able to watch it, and then I kind of lost touch a little bit, so the next one is, and I will go back to it because it is a great show, and I also remember what's happened in it, which is useful to go back to something, Top Boy, One Season, you know what's really weird about Netflix, they keep changing the cover of the TV show, they change the color, so the picture changes, just in that second that I moved from Top Boy and then gone back to it, Orange is the New Black, it changed to
a different picture, now Top Boy's changed to a different picture, Episodes, that's a different picture, so they're changing the pictures, because you remember in the past you get a DVD player of a TV show and that would just be the picture, wouldn't it, anyway, Bates Motel, I watched that when it first started, but I think I only got the first season, but I did like it, Sense 8, I've not seen that, Between, another one I've not seen, Star Trek Voyager, I always wanted to watch that for old times sake, Dead to Me, I say old
times sake and seven, is it seven or nine, Dead to Me, that's a really good show actually, if you ever get a chance to watch it, it's very good, Crescent, Christine Applegate, Marcella, that's a good TV show, Iron Fist, yeah, I didn't watch all of that, wow, there's so much, Teen Wolf, I've not watched that TV show yet, there's six seasons of that, Scream, House of Cards, so I want to watch the House of Cards because it's supposed to be brilliant, but I've only seen one episode, Spotless, Whitechapel, Love, Turn Up Charlie, Nobody Speak, Series
of Unfortunate Events, or Lemony Snickets, three seasons, I've seen one season, Clever Man, wow, now this is one that I've started watching called Safe, and it's got Michael C Hall, and it's really good, there's Miranda, Non-Stop, Outnumbered, Z Nation, wow, so many, no wonder I lose track of what I'm watching, so I hope this was enough to bore you, so I'm not going to go now, so thank you for listening, remember to be kind to yourself because you deserve to be happy, so do something nice for yourself today, lots of love, bye, bye-bye.
