So today is the 1st of February 2020. And I've just, it's literally 11 minutes past midnight. So I'm doing this very early in the day.
And I've just been watching on the television. It's almost been like the New Year celebrations, not for me, but like on television. All the channels kind of covering it.
Because at 11 o'clock pm, 11, so it's just over an hour ago, my country left the European Union. And so Brexit, as May said, Brexit does mean Brexit. And it really did.
So now we've, I say with the country has, is separating. And they've got a, they're basically doing it over the next year. So I think the next, the rest of this year is the process of moving away from them and breaking away.
But we still, we're still going to be abiding by the European laws during that period, I think. And I saw a really funny thing earlier. I'll see if I can get it up and read it to you.
Very funny. It's not funny, but it is funny. It's like the local newspaper, but I saw it online.
So I'm just going to say hello to a couple of people. Hello, Lisa Marie. Who else am I going to say hello to? Lisa Marie is my fellow tea cake lover.
And Bethany Marie, Maria. So say hello to Bethany. Just, she sent me a message yesterday.
I'm not going to read it out, but just asking about a recent recording I made. And she said she really liked it, but could I, did I know which one it was? So she could listen to it again. And it dawned on me that I've got no idea what a lot of my recordings are.
Luckily, this was a very recent one. So I had an inkling and I listened to about six, six recorded, not all the way through, but I kind of scanned through six recordings until I found one that sounded like it was the one that Bethany was referring to. And I sent her the link and I renamed it.
And it was one of my relaxation hypnosis for stress and anxiety and panic attacks. And I have started naming some of them as far as like, I've got no idea what, what names I've given them. I almost feel like I'm just making it up as I go along.
Oh, wait a minute. I am. So recently, it's only been, yeah, as you say, recently, it's been since it was episode six, no, not 69, lucky for some, 70.
So I did 69 recordings where I didn't name them, apart from just, you know, the title of the podcast. But number 70, I named Safe Space. Number 71, I named Model Plane.
And actually, yeah, by reading that title, it reminds me of the recording. 73, I called Sounds. And then 75.
So I've missed a couple out where I didn't name them. 75, Ask for Help. 77, None of Us Are Always Anything.
I quite like that title, actually. And then I didn't name the next two. But 80, I named Smiley Mirror.
And then the next 81, I named Meaning slash Purpose. And then I've named all the others since. 82 is Web Page.
83 was Ball or Sock. 84 was Silly Song. And number 85 yesterday was Self-Worth.
So if I look at the pod, like the Let Me Boyd Sleep ones, I've got no idea what I've spoken about or talked about or anything on any of the recordings, which is, I don't know, is it problematic? It's not ideal, is it? Really not ideal. So I'm just looking at the stats for the yesterday. Yesterday is not finished yet because it's only 17 minutes past.
What's it? What is it? 12 in the morning. And it goes on until roughly half 12, one o'clock before the actual stats are correlated for the day. But so yesterday, the 31st of January, according to the stats, I had 4,329 downloads.
So that was Friday. So that will go up a little bit before the end of the day. And then Thursday, the 30th, 4,645.
And then the 29th, the day before, 5,196. It's gradually going down, so I should manage to get it down to under 2,000 eventually. Oh, dear.
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. So yeah, that's quite cool. Of course, I don't know.
I don't know which one, which one is. Yeah. It varies.
I've got no idea. It just varies, continuously varying the statistics. And I do look at it all day long.
Not all day long, but I do constantly kind of checking it, you know, just for the simple fact that I guess I'm interested. Yeah, it does affect me. But I'm just, I'm always interested.
I'm interested in like, which is the podcast that's really, is there one podcast that I need to be given all my attention to? And even though, for example, Deep Sleep Whisperer, yesterday, 572 downloads, 602 the day before, 741 the day before that. So that's, you know, that's getting a nice amount of downloads every day for that podcast. But the only thing I need to do is just make new recordings really, unless I can find a way to promote, find another way to promote what I do.
And the Relaxation Hypnosis for Stress and Anxiety. Yesterday, so far, 855 downloads. And it's probably going to go up a little bit before the end of the day, but it's just, I don't know, I just find it, like what? I'm just not sure why it's gone up.
Why, you know, why the stats have risen, but don't worry, even though I know it's very boring and it does fit in with the boringness of what I'm trying to be boring, I'm still not going to keep talking about the stats. So don't worry, I'll move away from that. But we'll just finish just saying the Sleep Insomnia Hypnosis Podcast.
I had 1045 downloads yesterday. So far, the day before, 1258. So, it's 2468.
Yeah, well, it's kind of, um, it blows, it blows my mind, kind of. And 807 downloads for the Hypnosis for Sleeping Deeply. Mind you, I did upload three sleep recordings yesterday.
I think when I do that, it can't keep up. Does that make sense? So this, I suppose it's only, I've got like, some of the people that listen to me can only listen to so much, because I've only got five fans. So I've got five people that listen to all my recordings over and over again.
It's a bit, you know, I feel like I'm taking advantage when I'm sort of keep uploading new stuff. And how do they keep up with it? So, yesterday, the Sleep Hypnosis Weekly, I've got 250 downloads. But I did upload a new recording.
Number 33. Wow. Okay, so I'll stop talking about the stats.
For now. For now. I will come back to it.
Oh, yeah. One day. Lilith says hello.
And well, you're a great guy and you helped my little boy and myself so much. So I'm going to do a shout out to David. Lilith's son, David.
Hi, David. Andre sends his love. So I can do.
And yeah. Hello. So I can't.
Let's have a look. What else have I got? Rachel, say hello to Rachel. And Rachel said she's looking forward to me doing a Let Me Boyd You Sleep on cruises, on a cruise ship.
And I said, yeah, that'd be nice. Because, you know, doing these podcasts, I could do them anywhere. You know, as long as it's like relatively quiet.
And I could, you know, I could just be, I'd be sitting on the beach at night. You know, with just the sound of the sea in the background, making a relaxation session or a sleep session. So it's kind of be the best of both worlds.
It'd be good for the recording, because then you've got the natural sounds in the background. And then also, I get to be on a beach, I suppose. And I think in a way, being on the beach at night would suit me better than during the day, because that way I won't get burnt, you know, I won't get this, me and the sun don't really mix so well.
I think that's why my belly got bigger. It was my body. My body was stopping me from going out in the sun, you know, so that I didn't get sunburned.
And that's why. So maybe I need to do a little deal with my body and say, listen, I promise you I won't go out and I won't be sunbathing. So you can pop the belly back in now.
Put it back into the body, belly cabinet, or wherever it's kept. The belly warehouse, you know, wherever, I don't know where bellies are kept these days. And so what else? Gail.
Hello, Gail. I've got this friendship with Gail. She lives in, I'm sorry, she lives, but she lives the other side of the country.
And I met her on Facebook in 2007. And we hit it off. And we were talking on the phone and we used to play, I think we used to play checkers online as well.
And I was, I planned to go and see her, visit her, but I chickened out. I chickened out and plus I didn't really have enough money to do it either. Because I'd literally just become a student, sort of that week or, you know, that sort of month.
So I didn't go. But yeah, we still kind of kept in contact. But it's very, there's a big gap between communication in the sense that she just said to me, Happy New Year to me.
So this is like near the end of January. So there's a bit of a lapse in communication time wise. But anyway, hi, Gail.
So we've got Molly. Hi, Molly is Australia. Say hi to Molly.
And Boston, cheeky, of course. Kerry. Hi, Kerry.
Let's have a look. Okay, what I did is Kerry asked me a question. And asked me about like the law of attraction and the fear of negative thoughts becoming reality and stuff like that.
So I actually made a recording specifically for her. But you know, for everyone else to listen to as well. And I didn't name it, I should have named it, shouldn't I? I should have named it.
But yeah, if that girl will do, probably one day. But that was nice. Sometimes I get a message just at the right time.
And I think, yeah, that it motivates me to do something. I feel motivated to, you know, think, I know what, that's what I'll do. Or I might watch a documentary or read something and it sparks off a little train of thought in my head.
I'm thinking, ah, I could talk about this. Or there's an exercise I could do for this. Something, you know, just like as a focus.
So that's kind of what I do with that stuff. Sometimes. There's Melanie.
Hi, Melanie. And that's all the ones I've got local recently. So I'll leave this page.
What notifications do I have on my, so I've got three Facebook pages. Well, not more, but three that I kind of use. There's the main one, which is just my Facebook page, you know, like private, personal page rather, not private.
And then there's the Jason Newland Hypnotist, which is my hypnosis page, where according to this, I've got 29,000 followers. And I don't know where they are. I'd get, I never reach that many people when I post something.
But yeah, it's apparent I've got 29,000. Does it tell me what followers I've had this week? Does it? Do it? Ah, see your community. See your, maybe I can.
No, maybe not. I've clicked on, for, oh, it's not giving it to me. Friends and Jason.
Oh, this is 245 of my Facebook friends like my Facebook page. So that's quite nice. These are people that kind of follow what I do, I'm guessing.
And I recognize quite a few of the names straight away. It's ER. Oh, Gail's there.
Hi, Gail. So who else have we got? Rihanna. It's quite interesting.
There's quite a few people that I have no mutual friends with, but then others that I do, and I don't know how I've got mutual friends with them. So Leticia or Letty, got 14 mutual friends. Don't know who they are.
And Bex. Hi, Bex. Oh, apparently with Gail, I've got one mutual friend.
Wonder who that is. Who's the mutual friend? Oh, Gin Gin Reynolds. I just want to see groups.
I want to see a list. It used to be easy. I used to put a go on here.
And it'd tell me who had liked the page this week. But for some reason, it'd be under insights, wouldn't it? Let's have a look. Click insights.
This is supposed to be quick internet, but it really isn't. Mind you, I suppose I went back in time and saw what it used to be, you know, just got reminded of how slow. Okay, so from, oh, according to this, from the 24th of January to the 30th of January, so in the last week, I've had 17 page likes.
So that's 17 new people following me. Yes, 17. So, but who are they? I want to know.
I want to know who they are. It's not giving me that information. I want to know who they are.
It's not giving me anything. And also people leave as well, which is fine because we don't want people that don't want to be here, do we? That'd be pointless. I only want people that want to be here.
I wish it'd show me though. It used to do that any old day. Well, the old days, like a year ago, used to be able to see exactly who, according to this total page likes 29.5,000 posts this week, 25 posts.
Pages to watch helps you compare the performance of your page. Okay. Visit ad center, page followers.
Oh, I just want to see page followers. Oh, it's not telling me. It's not telling me.
So we're now out of Europe or moving out of Europe. Get stats. Now you can see stats.
Turn on. We have insufficient stats. Okay.
Anyway, I've started doing something new today. I'll just let you know, I'm back on SoundCloud because I thought, you know what? I need to spend another 12 pound a month. So I'm back on SoundCloud.
And so I've got, what have I got on there? I've only posted, I've only uploaded my more recent recordings or the podcasts that are popular, or my most popular podcast rather. So the only recordings I have on my SoundCloud, so it's soundcloud.com forward slash Jason Newland. And it's actually called Jason Newland's Hypnotic Universe.
That's the name of the podcast. But the only recordings I put up is the sleep hypnosis weekly ones, deep sleep whisper hypnosis ones, relaxation hypnosis, stress, anxiety, panic. And these ones are Let Me Boy To Sleep.
So there's 616 recordings just between those four podcasts. 616 recordings. Can you believe it? That's just ridiculous.
I can't even I mean, wow. That's a lot. And so yeah, I've got that.
And I'm just going to leave it alone and let people because SoundCloud does have its own audience. So I'm just going to leave it for people just to sort of on SoundCloud to go on there and and find me again because I used to be on SoundCloud for years and years, had multiple different podcasts on there. And my last podcast that I had for about a year or a year and a half, I had 200,000 downloads on that one.
So that was quite good. At that point, it was my most popular podcast and I had all of my recordings on. But I've limited this just to the recordings I make now, rather than putting all the stuff on from like, you know, 10-15 years ago.
So there's that. Another thing I've been doing, another thing I have been doing is this. It's something I started doing today.
Well, yesterday, actually, last night. It's this. I have last week I was playing around with Headliner for during the week.
It's a headliner.app, it's called. I think it's that. Yeah.
Anyway, I, it's a way of converting an audio recording, like a podcast recording into a video. But with moving parts, it's not just a screen or a picture. So what I've done is I played around with it and it seemed to work okay.
So I've enrolled and there's a limit to how long the recordings can be. And you've only got a certain amount of videos you can make on the free version. So I've gone pro, which costs me, so my plan, okay, it's £12 a month.
So it gives me unlimited videos, millions of stock videos. So I need to priority support and stuff. Their main thing they focus on is making short videos, like a video clip of a longer video, which doesn't suit me.
Or I suppose making a video for a song possibly, again, doesn't suit me because all of my recordings are long. The shortest videos I make are 20 minutes. So, but I can make, I record a video for up to two hours long, which is what I've just done.
So I've made two recordings and the first one was the 182, number 182 Deep Sleep Whisper. And that was from last, yeah, from yesterday. So I've uploaded it and replaced it, deleted the other one, replaced it.
And because with Spooky, you can add it to YouTube, but it doesn't, it's just, you know, it's just a picture. And it's not, I guess it's not quite as attractive, but it's not really attractive at all really. And it's just a picture, like a gray box with a picture of the podcast, which is quite a good, like small picture, which is okay.
And then the name of the podcast, and then that's it. And although I do, I've got an audience on YouTube and it's, it is, you know, it's growing back again. It's taken quite a long time because I've not given it any energy at all other than just to share what I do on there.
So I'm thinking I'm going to give it a little bit of energy because if I have a moving video, like a proper, not with me talking, but like on screen, but a video where there's movement, you know, it's actually, or it's an animation or something, that gets more views than just a static picture, which isn't even a picture of anything, just like a gray box with some writing. And other than those people that know what it is that I'm doing, they're not going to be attracted to watch that video or enticed. So I've already done one video earlier, and I uploaded it about an hour or two ago.
And it's already had more views than it had since yesterday, just within the first hour. So it's okay. I'm going to, I'm going to learn how to do this and try and make them a little bit better.
Play around with the images, just, you know, work on it. But I've just finished another one, which is the... Okay, so let's see if it's the right one. It is, I'm going to play it, hopefully, please let it be, yeah.
It's to let me boy to sleep, number 318. So there's the, there's the picture, you know, the, the podcast picture, you know, the yellow picture with Andre on it. I quite like that picture.
It took me ages to make it, to make that image. Not of him, but to just put it all together took a long time. Doesn't look like it did, but it really did.
And I've added number 318, just that, to the, to the actual picture. There's no other writing or anything that I've added to it. And in the middle of the picture, there's like a graphic that moves around when I'm talking.
So it kind of goes up and down. And it's a bit like if you've ever recorded anything, you'll see, when you listen to it back, you see that kind of thing going. And, or maybe, you know, if you watch the news and they're playing an audio clip, and they might show a little bit of the audio and it's, I don't know what they call it, but anyway, it's like an animation and it moves throughout the whole recording.
And it just looks better. So you can still see the whole picture, pretty much, the Let Me Bore You To Sleep, you can see Andre, you can see the number of the episode. But this, yeah, the actual image in the middle that's moving, doesn't take up a lot of space, but it's, it's noticeable, because it's moving.
So it's, it's constantly something happening on the video, which I'm hoping will make a difference. I'm hoping. So I've invested £12 to do this.
It's gonna be 12, I think it's £12 or $12. I'm not 100% sure, to be honest, I can't remember. But it's monthly, they gave me a month free.
When they said a month free, I thought I was going to get a month free trial. There's actually a month free trial, but you pay for an extra month as well. So you basically, you pay for two months, but you only pay for one month.
Anyway, if it works out, it does add a lot more work for me to do, and a lot more time. Because each recording takes probably an hour or two to actually process, but the long ones, because it's, I don't have to do anything once I've set it up and done what I need to do, the editing part, then the website or the, you know, online, they process it themselves. And it takes a while.
This one's taken about two hours. And it's yesterday's number 318, Let Me Bore You To Sleep. So then it comes up and I can download it, which is what I'll do now.
So download it to my laptop. And I need to go to, was it 318? So I need to click on that. Okay, the good thing about it is I just, I've already saved one, so the 182 Deep Sleep Whisper, 21 minutes and 56 seconds long, but it's only 43.9 megabytes for the video.
So the video size is really, really small. Which is kind of brilliant, really, I suppose. And when the video is ready, and it's processed, they send me an email to let me know.
So a lot of this stuff I could possibly do on my phone or on the tablet. So I don't, I probably don't need to do it on my laptop, but I just, I suppose I'm a little bit old fashioned in a way. I just, you know, I find it easier to do stuff on the laptop.
Although I know that the future is, it will be tablets, you know, there won't be any laptops in the future probably. Although I hope there will be, because I do prefer them. But what I would prefer is to have just really, really powerful laptops that allow you to do everything.
Allow you, it'd be good if you could just make the screen really big, and then make it small again if you wanted it to be small, you know. So you fold it up and put it in the back of your pocket. The back of your pocket? Your back pocket.
Because pockets don't really have a back or a front, do they? They can be at the back or the front, but they're not, you know, there's just a pocket. Oh, so that's how long it took to download this one. So what I do now is show in folder and change the name of it.
So it's the number 318, let me put you to sleep, Jason Newland, 31st of January, 2018. I add the word video just so I know what it is. So that's now saved.
Where is it? I've lost it now. Oh, there it is. Wow, this is a lot longer.
It's one hour, 23 minutes and 17 seconds. It's 236 megabytes. So what I do is now, if I go over to YouTube, click on create, upload the video or click on upload video, select file, go to my download, and I just click on it.
And that's it. When it's actually, it's going to take a while. Well, actually, it's not really a very long video, really, is it? I mean, for YouTube, it's not a particularly large file.
It says it's going to take six minutes to upload. 10% is now already uploaded. So the six minutes left might include the processing time.
So that's being uploaded onto YouTube. I'm not using the internet to record this podcast. I use it to upload it, but to record it, I don't, which is very lucky because I wouldn't want to rely on the internet, really.
I don't want to be talking for 50 minutes and then have it cut out and to lose the whole recording, especially some of the gold, some of this recording. Can you imagine missing out on hearing about the stats and hearing about me posting YouTube videos and using Headliner and having a SoundCloud podcast? I mean, I think we can all agree that our lives are way better having experienced this time together. I mean, it's pretty amazing.
So it's still uploading. 34% uploaded. I like to share what I do with you.
Not everything I do, obviously. I don't want to get banned from the internet, but I like to share the, some of the, like the, not the back end, the backdoor stuff, not the backdoor stuff. I think it's back ends, you know, so you've got this stuff that you see, but then there's the stuff behind the curtain, the, I think it's in technological terms, the back end work.
I think that's what it's called. And the backside work and sort of like the editing, the preparation, the processing, the sort of more technical stuff. And yeah, so I kind of, every now and then, I get a little bit lonely and then I turn around every now and then.
So every now and I do, I kind of like to share what I do, the process. Let's face it, it's not complicated, what I do, but, well, that's strange. Why is it? Jason, Jason, Jason, Jason.
Okay, fair enough. So I've renamed it. So I've had to, not renamed it, but I've put it into the, the other thing is I have the brackets and stuff.
It's got, so I'm going to put that in the description. That's the title, but I also need to put it in as a description as well. Oh, what is that? Okay.
And I can't save it yet because it's not uploaded. Playlists? No, I don't even need, and I have to put, it's made for children. No, it's not made for children.
Well, no, it's not, not made for children. So that's that. I don't have an age restriction because YouTube's not, you're not allowed on YouTube until you're 13 or 15, 16.
I don't know. I wasn't allowed on YouTube until I was 37. And you might say, no, that's not right.
People get on at 13. What do you mean 37? 37. Well, it wasn't created until I was 37.
So yeah. Okay. So it's got, so that's what I'm going to do.
I'm going to start doing that. But it's very, very time consuming. You know, it's very, it does take up a fair bit of time just to make one video, including like the uploading and the processing up to YouTube.
That's another like 20 minutes. So yeah. And sometimes I can't do anything else when something's being processed, or something's being uploaded.
I can't necessarily use the internet for anything else because all the energy has been put into that upload. Even though I'm supposed to have a fast internet connection, I should be getting about 38 megabytes a second, which in my, that's download, but uploads about, I don't know what it is, upload about 15 megabytes. So really to upload it now, it's pretty quick, wasn't it, I suppose.
It took, what, six minutes for a 225 megabyte. So what would that be? 10 minutes, 10 minutes per, 10 megabytes per minute. So 100 megabytes would be 10 minutes.
200 megabytes would be 20 minutes. That definitely wasn't 20 minutes because it's uploaded now, it's just processing. But instead of clicking next, I'll wait until it's completely processed.
That way it'd be a bit easier. So I quite like this headliner. What I would like to do more of, I mean, I'll see how it goes.
If people, if I get more people watching the videos on YouTube, then I know that the videos are doing the job. But if I don't get any, if it doesn't make any difference over the next month or two, then I'll perhaps just go back to what I was doing before, or look at other ways of doing it. Because I do, I kind of know how to do some stuff.
But I want it to, I don't want to spend all my time working on videos. Because then I get distracted by that stuff and I'll make less recordings. I know what I'm like, that's what happens.
If I get too caught up on the website, I can literally spend weeks just working on the website and nothing else. If I allow myself, because I'm just focused, providing I'm feeling okay and I'm able to get out of bed. I can just focus and don't always have the ability to divide my attention between different things.
That's why when I make recordings, I make recordings. And like last night, I made four recordings during the night, between midnight and seven. Did four recordings, edited them all, uploaded them all, shared them.
And you know, so it's quite, it's none of it's complicated already, I suppose, but it's still, it takes time and focus and attention. And I did four because I did weekly hypnosis, a weekly sleep hypnosis recording. Was it hypnosis, sleep hypnosis weekly? I think, yeah.
So I needed to do that because in the past I've left it for three weeks sometimes, four weeks between recordings. And that's just not on. It's just naughty.
So I try and make that, you know, sort that out. Now, I started a, I started a competition in, during January. I've not really promoted it to be fair, but you know, I still have, I still done it, you know, I still did do the, the competition and asking people to share my posts on Facebook and those that share it will be entered into a competition to win the, every episode of Let Me Boy To Sleep on a hard drive.
Well, not hard, it's like a mini, like a little disc, you know, I don't know what you call it. I've got it behind me. But it's a little thing that you plug into your laptop or, or your computer.
And it is, I've got one here, it's a ScanDisc. And it's got 32 gigabytes of data space on it. A USB flash drive, easy, reliable storage solution.
And it's top of the range, ScanDisc is pretty much the best you can get, as far as I'm aware. And apart from those that are better. And I looked earlier to find out how many, how much space all of my, well actually, let's have a look at this.
Wow. According to this, all of my recordings, my mp3s, but it's not all of them, but a lot of them, comes to 61.2 gigabyte. And there is, how many files are there? Properties, I think there might be a few duplicated files.
Apparently, according to this, it's 1,604 files. So that's 1,604 recordings. So there might be, there's going to be a couple of duplicates there.
I don't think I've made that many recordings. But for the, let me bore you to sleep. Properties for that file.
There's 19 gigabytes. And there's 307 files on there. So that's incorrect.
So there needs to be a number, however many, is this number 319, isn't it? So there'll be more on there. And I'll transfer all of those recordings onto the disk. And it'll all be in mp3 format.
And you'll be able to stick them on your laptop. And if you want to, you can transfer them to your phone or to your mp3 player or just listen to them on your laptop or whatever. No adverts to worry about.
No, I don't know. Not that I've got adverts at the moment. But on YouTube, there are adverts on there, unfortunately.
Although I don't know if you, if you don't have them, maybe they don't, they're not on there. But yeah, so I think if the adverts aren't on there, then maybe they might not be on there. Is basically what I just said, isn't it? Which is a bit of a weird thing to say.
Oh, the YouTube video is finished processing. Publish now. Publish now.
Yes, publish now. You need to choose a visibility setting. Public.
Okay. So now publishing it. And it's published.
Yay for me or yay for Jay. Wow, that rhymes. So that's now available.
Number 318, let me boy to sleep. Available. I don't know why it just looks better.
Well, I do know why, because it looks better. That's why, you know, there's actually a picture there. But you can see there's also, so I'm just thinking if I, if I look up for, if I go into YouTube, youtube.com. Now I think, I think, I think, I think, I think.
If I just search for myself on YouTube. Okay. So it's coming up.
The first, the first one's coming up is my, the one I just put up there. So it's 318. And it's a picture, you can see it's number 318.
See the picture of the podcast. And you can see the big blue line across it, which is going to move. But, okay.
Well, that's strange. And the reason I'm saying it's strange, because some of the, some of the videos, when I put my cursor over it, or mouse over it, it actually starts moving. So the try and stay awake hypnosis challenge, it did, if I put my thing over it, it moves a bit.
But it didn't do it with the new ones. Unless it only does that when it's actually like a person on the video. No, actually it doesn't do it to all of them.
I wonder why it doesn't do it to all of them. Maybe it's just random. I wonder what that's about.
Because I quite like to, for it to show it. Because then you'll be able to see the, the, the movement in the videos. So someone will think, oh, it's a, it's an actual video, not just a picture.
Well, it is just, it is a picture, but it has got movement, got the animation in it. We'll see. We'll have to wait and see what happens.
But I'm fairly, the, yeah, I'm all right with that actually. I'm okay with that. Let me go back to my studio.
Maybe I'll play it on my TV and see how it looks. See, I don't have many subscribers at the moment. I've got 373.
And it's, it's slow. It's a slow, it's a slow thing. And I've had, yeah, so let's have a look.
Total subscribers, 17. So I've had 17 subscriptions or 17 new subscribers in the last 28 days. That's the same amount of people that went on Facebook, isn't it? Who, that's weird, weird number.
And I've had 1.5 thousand plays of my videos in the last 28 days. Watch time in hours, 491 hours. And the top videos was Try and Stay Awake Hypnosis Challenge.
Always the top. And Let Me Bore You To Sleep, number 2, 317. So, yeah, I'll just be interested in seeing how it, how it comes, how it comes across, you know.
And give it a couple of months. Because it seems a shame to have a YouTube channel and not actually be, be putting any energy into it. I feel like I kind of, I owe it a bit of a debt, you know, because YouTube is partly how I grew.
If it hadn't been for YouTube, the audience that I have now, or a lot of people that stayed with me, wouldn't have even known about me if it hadn't been for YouTube and the videos that I have done in the past. So perhaps, I just kind of don't want to go online. And I don't really want to make videos of my face anymore.
I suppose I could get like a sock puppet. And like, just film my hand inside a sock, mouthing. So a couple of eyes on there, a little tongue.
Like, I could hold Andre up, couldn't I? And just wobble him about. Welcome to jasonnewland.com. And he wouldn't sit still for two seconds, would he? Wow. Yeah, so I'm kind of, it's got me, got me a little bit more interested as well in YouTube again.
Because just sharing the podcasts from Spreaker, it looks awfully boring. And I've been doing that for absolute months and months and months. I still get people, you know, playing them.
But I've literally, let me see how long I've been doing it for. Probably the last year, actually. Or maybe not.
Just look, trying to look forward to how many. There's a lot. But it's 30 per row.
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. I've already gone through about seven pages. There is the occasional video of Andre, and there's the occasional Jason Chatz video that I do.
But it ain't that often. Wow. 301 to 330.
About 400. There's way more than 400 videos on there. I don't know where they're coming up with that.
So yeah, even going back to April 2019, I was sharing videos from Spreaker. Yeah. Oh, no, these were, these were older videos.
So yeah, I shared loads. Like a back catalogue. So the last time I actually uploaded videos where, because I used to have videos of candles showing, and it did just be my voice, but it'd be, you know, I'd actually make the video myself, edit it using like editing, video editing software.
And it took hours and hours and hours. And, but even though, you know, I was getting views. So I can't remember if I really complained, just looking back at it.
I mean, this one for the balloon phobia, I got 140 views from that. That was March last year. And these were all, I got one with a, yeah, they look so much better.
They look nice. I mean, they're, they're actually moving videos, not moving as an emotion. I just can't stop crying.
I did loads. Wow. I need to have a sort of re, have a little chat to myself, I think.
I mean, some of these, and this one here, Deep Sleep Whisperer, number 24. And 21st of January, 2019. 181 views.
I mean, blimey. I've won, is that even more? Look, number 19, Deep Sleep Whisperer, number 19, 15th of January, 2019. 310 views.
Yeah, I need to, I got Sleep Hypnosis Weekly, number seven, 244 views. And that's me on camera as well. Wow, this, blimey.
Yeah, there's a lot of videos. A lot, a lot. In fact, there's one here from the 3rd of November, 48 views from Spreaker.
And that must be one of my previous Spreaker accounts, because I closed that one. I didn't open it again until about the 20th. So, wow, it's weird to see myself, this little picture of me, you know, from making faces from years and years ago.
Whoa. Wow. What happened? What happened? So how many videos have I actually got? Let's have a look.
It should give me, dashboard should tell me exactly how many videos I've got. Videos. Okay, actually, if I just keep going forward, it should say 760, 790, 820, 800.
Wow, there's never ending. 910 videos. 1000 videos.
Blimey, blimey, blimey. Where did they all come from? So, according to this, I've got 1010 videos. That's 1010.
That's quite a lot, isn't it? Well, the two new videos I've uploaded look a lot more colourful. So I'm kind of okay with that. Maybe, maybe it's time to start making some more videos.
What do you reckon? What do you reckon? Shall I? Shall I? Shall I? YouTube Studio. Oh, actually, wait a minute. If I come out of there.
YouTube Studio. Does it tell me how many videos I've got? It's bad, isn't it? When you've got so many videos, you lose count. Well, it's not bad, but no, it doesn't tell me there either.
I think YouTube has actually stopped counting. YouTube, YouTube stopped counting my videos. Wow.
So let's have a look what SocialBladeStats says, because they might have a list of how many videos I've got. Um, overview. I'm C-grade.
19 subs in the last 30 days, apparently, according to this. Views over the last 30 days, 1646. Okay.
So I've got, according to this, my channel has got 35,016 views. Why doesn't it have? Why doesn't it have the amount of videos? Okay, so it might, it might tell me how many videos I've got. Oh, it does.
Oh, I'm getting excited. Oh, so I've got 1018. So even YouTube couldn't calculate it.
There's too many to even YouTube to work out. So at 1018, videos on my YouTube. Video views 25,016.
So they're changing that. And I created the YouTube channel on March the 15th, 2018. So I've had it for nearly, well, it's getting on to two years, isn't it soon? So maybe now that I've had it a while, I can start putting a bit, a bit of energy into it.
So I'm a total grade C out of, I don't know what, the country, right? Just in my country, I am, there are 200,809, no, 200,819 YouTube channels ahead of mine. I don't know if this is right. And apparently video rank view, there are 12,579,221 YouTube channels that are above mine on video views.
So I've got a little way to go and I, I'm sure I used to be a B. Maybe I was a C, I'm sure I managed to get to a B in the past. I don't know, I'm getting a little tingly a bit. Oh, YouTube, maybe it's time I made my return to YouTube.
Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps. I don't know, maybe. Maybe it's time to get the old camera out again.
That's not bad, look, I've had two video views of the, that's not a lot, but I mean, just since I uploaded that new recording, I had two video views. Now, if that had been Justin Bieber or Miley Cyrus or just any Logan Paul, any, any famous person, it'd probably be about 200,000 in that time, in that like five or 10 minutes. But I'll take my two and I'm going to turn it into a four.
Oh yes, oh yes, oh yes. Eventually it will be a four. It will be a yes.
So I'm going to leave you on that and I'll keep you updated. See, just when you thought, just when you thought that, you know, oh, we're going to run out of stats. Now I've come up with the YouTube stats.
I'm never going to run out of statistics to tell you, tell you about the stats. Oh, it's brilliant. I'm ever so happy.
Okay, I'm going to go. Thank you for listening. I hope I've been boring enough and I'll speak to you tomorrow.
Remember to be kind to yourself because you deserve to be happy. Lots of love. Bye.
