About me

I have over 15 years experience as a Hypnotherapist, Counsellor, and Dream Therapist. Hypnotherapy is a safe and powerful way of accessing your own, natural resources for change and healing. There are many approaches to hypnotherapy. I have a varied approach which includes writing a tailor-made 'script' for each individual client.

Even if I have several clients come to me for help with a flying phobia, for instance, none of them would have the same script, as their experience of their phobia is very personal to them. This means there would be a higher rate of success.

Training, qualifications & experience

I qualified as a Counsellor in 2000, and a Hypno-Psychotherapist and Dream Therapist in 2001. I also have a diploma in Past Life Therapy, and an MA (module) in Child & Adolescent Mental Health. I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and abide by their code of practice and standards.

My extensive experience in many areas of mental health, and the broad spectrum of skills I have gained over my years as a therapist, means I can help my clients to feel safe as they explore what can often be frightening or overwhelming areas of their life - past or present.

Areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

* If you have been diagnosed or suspect you may have one of the medical conditions starred above, you should consult your GP for advice, diagnosis and treatment and always inform your health professional before starting any alternative or additional therapies or treatments.

Other areas of hypnotherapy I deal with

Dental anxiety

Each session lasts approximately 50 minutes and costs £50.00

Occasionally, it may be more beneficial to have longer sessions, but I would always discuss this with you and set the fee accordingly.

Missed sessions will be charged for unless at least 48 hours notice is given.

Further information

We are meant to enjoy life. To be happy and free to live and express ourselves without fear, to love and accept ourselves, and to connect in a meaningful way with others. For many, the ability to achieve these fundamental life experiences is blocked by trauma, fear, grief, loss or emotional disturbance. These blockages can manifest as depression, anxiety, anger, phobias, addictions and many other physical, emotional and mental health problems.

Working with a professional, experienced therapist can help you to find a new perspective as you search for your own resources for change.
