About me

Hello! My name is Catriona Stewart-Smith and I am a Hypnotherapist practising in Glasgow's West End. I am originally from Canada, but moved to Glasgow in 2008. I have always been interested in counselling, helping people, and the way that people think, and so I studied Psychology at the University of Alberta in Canada. After graduation I moved to Glasgow and began my Post Graduate Certificate in Hypnotherapy through the University of West London. I chose hypnotherapy as my method of working with people because I like its grace and speed. Although it can be a lot of work for the client, it is still a pleasant and relatively quick method of dealing with the underlying causes of issues.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Alberta and a Post-graduate Certificate in Clinical Hypnotherapy from the University of West London. I am a registered therapist with the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis and a member of the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council.
